DeSantis Fights for Djokovic

Ron DeSantis has been in the news lately for defending Novak Djokovic. The window of opportunity for Novak Djokovic to be granted US admission in time for the Indian Wells tournament may have closed.

However, DeSantis is still working to amend the regulations to permit the world No. 1 into the United States in time for the Miami Open.

The US continues to require COVID-19 vaccination for foreign visitors. The Serbian, who might have previously claimed he was still unvaccinated, acknowledged he requested special authorization for entering the US before both tournaments.
