Trump Applauds Kevin McCarthy’s Release of J6 Surveillance Footage: “Fantastic” and “Brave”

The decision of House Speaker Kevin McCarthy to disclose security footage from the Capitol on January 6, 2021 has been praised by the 45th president of the United States, Donald J. Trump.

Initial Release of Some Tapes

McCarthy gave some of the tapes to Tucker Carlson, who hosts a show on Fox News.

The show aired the previous week and disproved several official narratives that had been presented in the past by the House January 6 Select Committee, which is no longer in existence.

McCarthy promised to release the complete cache of surveillance tapes to the public in an exclusive question-and-answer session with Breitbart News. It took place the week before last.

Maria Bartiromo asks Kevin McCarthy about Tucker Carlson’s January 6th presentation:

“My goal is transparency, and we will slowly roll out to every individual news agency — they can come to see the tapes as well. The first thing I found was the January 6th committee was not… https://t.co/D5165D8IpD pic.twitter.com/USIK0mg0Og

Once congressional consultants finish analyzing its contents and extracting anything that could be a threat to security, McCarthy will make good on his promise.

Trump lauded McCarthy’s choice, describing it as “fantastic” and “brave” and citing it as one of the most meaningful acts he’s committed in his career as a politician.

He complimented McCarthy on the excellent work he has been doing as House Speaker and expressed his pride in him.

During his difficult campaign for the position of House Speaker, McCarthy had to endure a total of 15 ballots cast over the course of four days before he was eventually victorious.

During an interview with Breitbart News in Miami at the beginning of December, Trump gave his support to McCarthy’s campaign and even made calls to assist him in obtaining the position.

Anticipation and Speculation

McCarthy stated he plans to make available the complete collection of tapes in the near future.

The House Speaker made this promise during his extensive and exclusive on-camera interview with Breitbart News. This is an interview that was recorded in the ceremonial speaker’s office.

McCarthy added that they want to look over all of them and make sure none of them display any exits that may potentially create any difficulties. Also, McCarthy confirmed there are more than 42,000 hours of tape to be reviewed before making it available to the public.

This is a significant increase from the number of hours of tape that the January 6 Committee, which was controlled by Democrats in the previous Congress, claimed existed.

The publication of the surveillance tapes has been a contentious issue, with some people arguing that it could help explain what took place on January 6.

There are other people saying it might be used to promote a specific political agenda. Some folks also argued that the release of the surveillance footage could instead encourage what happened on January 6.

Nonetheless, the choice to release the film has garnered a lot of attention and a lot of people are going to be anxiously anticipating its complete dissemination to the public.
