Reactions to last month’s mass shooting at a Christian school in Nashville have continued to vary, based on partisanship.
Some Americans have chosen to condemn Christians and conservatives for the tragedy, thus deflecting blame away from the shooter. Others rightfully assigned blame to the shooter who took not only the lives of three elderly people, but also the lives of three children.
In the aftermath of this tragedy, the Biden administration’s response has not been well-received at all, according to the Daily Mail. As a matter of fact, White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre has found herself under fire from conservatives as a result of her latest comments.
A Total Disgrace
Days ago, Jean-Pierre held a press conference at the White House and declared that the transgender community is under attack.
This statement also comes as many other Democrats claim that Republicans and Christians essentially pushed the mass shooter into taking the lives of six people in Nashville.

Conservatives strongly pushed back against this. Many said the Biden administration was victim-blaming for the sake of scoring political points. Others questioned where the administration’s condolences were for those at Nashville’s Christian school who lost their lives.
Thus far, Jean-Pierre has not recanted this latest claim that landed her in hot water.
More Biden Officials Weigh In
This past Friday, Secretary of State Antony Blinken also shared comments that mirror those released by Jean-Pierre.
According to Blinken, the White House is committed to efforts to ensure the transgender community lives “with dignity” and obtains documentation that reflects their preferred identities.
Like the White House press secretary, Blinken didn’t make any mention of the lives lost in Nashville.

Finally, Joe Biden himself condemned conservatives for waging what he claimed to be “political attacks” and other forms of “discrimination.”
Sadly, this type of rhetoric has become a recurring theme from the Biden administration, with no sign of dying down.
