US Attorney General Makes Huge Announcements

There’s no secret that America has some very real issues when it comes to the use of drugs. Countless people are suffering from various addictions. This hurts their ability to contribute to the community and do well for themselves.

In some of the worst-case scenarios, Americans are also dying due to unknowingly ingesting dangerous drugs, such as fentanyl. Much of this is coming across the southern border from Mexico, a nation in which the cartels continue to remain in charge.

However, in an interesting turn of events, US Attorney General Merrick Garland just made some major announcements regarding drugs in this country, per Fox News.

Big Indictments Coming Down

Very recently, Garland revealed that Sinaloa Cartel members are looking at a series of indictments for creating, smuggling, and trafficking fentanyl. In revealing these details, Garland furthermore stressed the negative, fatal impacts that this drug continues to have on America.

In another impressive turn, some of the people being indicted are none other than the sons of infamous drug kingpin El Chapo. Since El Chapo’s sons chose to go down a similar path as him, they will now be forced to face the music.

In addition to drug crimes, those being hit with indictments are also charged with the murder and torture of various persons.

More From Garland

While speaking before the press, the US attorney general ripped the Sinaloa Cartel as being without regard for human life, individual rights, or the safety of the public.

Garland’s remarks then established that members of this cartel have forcibly experimented with fentanyl on unwilling individuals who were tied down and helpless to defend themselves.

At the end of the day, these indictments from the Department of Justice send a clear message that in America, law enforcement won’t stand idly by and allow cartels to do whatever they please.
