Humza Yousaf, the First Minister of Scotland, will resign his position imminently, according to a report from The Times of London.

Yousaf, who leads the far-left, pro-independence Scottish National Party (SNP), had previously pledged to fight on after his government collapsed but has now acknowledged that there is no way forward.

The Times reports:

A British Pakistani and practising Muslim, Yousaf notoriously gave a speech back in 2020 at the height of the Black Lives Matter riots where he complained about the number of white people in positions of power.

Just last month, he approved legislation implementing new “hate speech” laws intended to crack down on free speech and conservative opposition to progressive ideology. The move later backfired when thousands of people flooded the hate crime tip lines with reports of his own anti-white speech.

Having voted to remain part of the United Kingdom in 2014, Scotland remains subject to the British parliament. However, its government maintains autonomy on various policy issues ranging from healthcare to education as part of a devolution agreement signed by former Prime Minister David Cameron.

A Kenyan woman who is set to be the new mayor of Derry City, in Northern Ireland previously called Irish patriots who oppose mass immigration “terrorists.”

SDLP councillor Lilian Seenoi-Barr was nominated to be Derry City’s next mayor.

A selection convention scheduled for Monday evening was canceled after Lilian Seenoi-Barr was nominated for mayor. The party bypassed a vote and went straight to nominate the new mayor.

Lilian Seenoi-Barr has contempt for Irish citizens who oppose mass immigration from Africa and the Middle East.

Of course, the lefty media celebrated Derry’s first black mayor – even though she has contempt for the Irish people.

Derry Now understands that SDLP councillor Lilian Seenoi-Barr has gained the party’s nomination to replace current incumbent Patricia Logue as the city and district’s in June.

Cllr Seenoi-Barr was first co-opted to Derry and Strabane District Council in 2021. She was subsequently elected in the 2023 local elections.

Derry Now understands that a selection convention was due to take place on Monday evening. However the meeting has since been cancelled as the party’s management committee has opted to nominate Cllr Seenoi-Barr for mayor instead of taking it to a vote among the party’s 300 members.

Two other candidates were in the running to become the SDLP’s pick for mayor, they were councillors Shauna Cusack and Jason Barr.

As the White House Correspondents’ dinner featured another unfunny comedy act, a disastrous speech by the so-called leader of the free world, and that so-called leader enjoying his dinner like an Alzheimer’s patient at the nursing home, take a moment to remember last year’s annual event, Joe Biden laughed hysterically at Americans struggling to afford everyday goods.

As The Gateway Pundit reported, Saturday Night Live star Colin Jost was the designated “comedian” for the White House Correspondent’s Association dinner on Saturday. After “roasting” Trump and Biden with a series of tame and not-particularly-funny quips, Jost launched into an emotional tirade about his late grandfather, he began slobbering over Biden’s supposed “decency.”

Biden later slurred as he openly joked about spearheading prosecutions against his main political opponent Donald Trump. Such decency!

In 2022, former Daily Show host Trevor Noah hosted a similarly pathetic comedy performance, and Biden, during his speech that year, called President Trump “a horrible plague.”

The most viral moment from the show went like this:

The DC elites, journalists, and Joe Biden roared at the not-particularly-funny joke while Americans suffered Bidenflation under Bidenomics.

It was true that everything was — and still is — going up under Joe Biden, but one thing continues going downhill fast: Biden’s mental health.

Joe Biden is officially the least popular president in 70 years, with an approval rating of just 38.7 percent, according to a Gallup Poll released Friday.

No first-term president in the poll’s history has been reelected with an approval rating this low.

“With about six months remaining before Election Day, Biden stands in a weaker position than any prior incumbent,” the pollsters determined.

Biden’s challenger for the White House, former President Donald Trump, had a 46.8 percent approval rating at the same point in his presidency.

Approval ratings at this point in their presidencies for the last 70 years were as follows:

Dwight D. Eisenhower (1956): 73.2%
Ronald Reagan (1984): 54.5%
Richard Nixon (1972): 53.7%
Bill Clinton (1996): 53.0%
George W. Bush (2004): 51.0%
Jimmy Carter (1980): 47.7%

Barack Obama (2012): 45.9%
George H.W. Bush (1992): 41.8%
Joe Biden (2024): 38.7%

The New York Post reports:

Even Nixon and Carter had higher ratings than Biden, with 53.7% and 47.7%, respectively, and Eisenhower had the highest rating at 72.3%, according to the poll.

The results of Gallup’s presidential approval polls, which the organization has compiled since the presidency of Dwight D. Eisenhower began in 1952, have been strongly predictive of re-election success.

Historically, every incumbent in the past seven decades with an approval rating above 50% has won a second term. Only Barack Obama bucked the trend: his 2012 victory came despite a middling 46% approval six months ahead of that year’s general election.

No first-term president in Gallup’s history has returned to the White House with approval numbers as low as Biden’s — whose results this quarter ranked among the worst of the post-World War II era, in the bottom 12% of all presidential quarters going back to 1945.

Gallup surveyed 1,001 Americans from April 1 to April 22. The results have a 4-point margin of error.

Eric Trump was on Sunday Morning Futures earlier today with Maria Bartiromo.

The 45th President’s son discussed a few topics which included Biden’s inability to draw a crowd.

“So with all the power of Air Force One and with all the power of the Executive Branch, Biden can’t have anybody show up, yet my father is drawing these massive crowds,” Eric Trump said.

He also discussed the chaos in the US with protests from extremist groups.

“We’ve become an embarrassment to the entire world. We’re getting ripped off. Wars are breaking out all over the place, protests are happening. You have people in this country who are chanting ‘death to America’, ‘death to America’ in the United States of America,” Eric Trump continued.

Eric Trump also discussed President Trump’s tireless effort to campaign while also having to be in court.

“He will be going to what, Michigan and Wisconsin on the one day off?” Maria Bartiromo asked.

“That’s right he’s going all over the place and his stamina Maria, I’ve never seen anything like it in my life, I’ve just never seen it. He’ll be in trial all day long relentlessly being attacked by a corrupt judge, you know who’s literally family is apparently profiting off of this whole thing. The guy is really a remarkable human being,” Eric Trump continued.

Kamala Harris, in an interview about her experience in the White House over the last three years with actor Drew Barrymore, where she opened up on her infamous cackle and noted that “apparently, some people love to talk about the way I laugh.”

“Oh, yes. I love your laugh!” cried Barrymore in a weird tone.

Harris continued, “I think it’s really important for us to remind each other and our younger ones, don’t be confined to other people’s perception about what this looks like and how you should act in order to be, right?” Because it doesn’t matter how a Vice President of the United States acts, right?

The Gateway Pundit has reported on Kamala Harris’ outrageous cackle and all the inappropriate times she’s lost it, including when she was asked whether she’d visit the southern border and when she joked about killing President Trump.

Vice President Harris opened up about criticism over her laugh in an upcoming interview.

Harris, in an interview with “The Drew Barrymore Show” that will air Monday, acknowledged that people often like to make fun of public figures when they trip or fall, and then mentioned the talk about how she laughs.

“You were asking me earlier about what it means to be, like, the first woman. And, you know, it’s funny, because people still got to get used to this, right?” Harris said in the clip, obtained by Mediaite.

“Let me tell you something,” Harris told host Drew Barrymore. “I have my mother’s laugh. And I grew up around a bunch of women in particular who laugh from the belly.”

It is unclear if they discussed Joe Biden’s memory lapses and how it is comparable to Barrymore’s ’50 First Dates’ film.

Los Angeles Lakers Star LeBron James has once again allowed his emotions to get the best of him on the court.

During the Lakers’ latest playoff game against the Denver Nuggets, LeBron James exploded at his head coach, Darvin Ham, for refusing to challenge a referee’s call.

In the fourth quarter, while the Lakers were up by 15, James became irate when his head coach, Darvin Ham, did not challenge a ref’s call that claimed Lebron knocked the ball out of the game.

After coach Ham refused to challenge the call, LeBron jumped up and down and screamed at his head coach and bench players.

The Los Angeles Lakers’ Game 4 win over the Denver Nuggets on Saturday night wasn’t without drama.

Usually, that drama takes the form of the Lakers blowing a double-digit lead as they have for the last three consecutive series matchups against the Nuggets. Yet Game 4 was different, not only because the Lakers held onto their lead for the win, but because Los Angeles star LeBron James had one of his biggest on-court blowups of the year.

Early in the fourth quarter with the Lakers up 15, James was visibly outraged after the Lakers chose not to challenge an out-of-bounds call. The officials ruled that James touched the ball last, though slow-motion replays revealed that the ball indeed went off of Nuggets’ Kentavious Caldwell-Pope.

James unsuccessfully pleaded with his coaches to challenge the call and was seen furiously shouting at the Lakers bench and even stomping on the court.

The Lakers ended up defeating the Denver Nuggets 119 to 118.

The Nuggets still lead the series 3 to 1.

This isn’t the first time in the series that LeBron has let his temper flare.

On Monday night, James abruptly left a press conference after voicing his frustrations about the refs calling the playoff game.

It appears the long-running feud between America’s top two Republicans has thawed.

As The Washington Post reported President Donald Trump and Florida Governor Ron DeSantis met privately for several hours Sunday morning in Miami. Trump and DeSantis had not spoken since the end of the Republican primary, a bitter contest in which both men launched biting attacks at each other, which were often personal.

As Gateway Pundit readers know, DeSantis endorsed Trump the day he left the race in January.

Allies of both men brokered the meeting in hopes of a potential peace between the two. According to the Post, the meeting was the brainchild of prominent Florida real estate broker Steve Witkoff, an ally of both Trump and DeSantis.

Witkoff contacted Trump and asked him to meet with the Florida governor.

Both Trump and DeSantis spoke on friendly terms, according to the Post’s sources, and DeSantis agreed to help the 45th President. Trump’s team is hopeful such assistance will include the Florida governor helping raise money for the campaign, which is lagging behind Biden in fundraising.

The meeting will also produce renewed speculation that Trump is looking at tapping DeSantis as his running mate. Trump previously suggested that the Florida governor was on the list of people he was considering.

This seems like a long shot considering a good number of Trump’s staff still despise Ron DeSantis. After initial calm, DeSantis stirred up a hornet’s nest again in February when he slammed Trump’s campaign team in a private call with his supporters.

“I think he’s got people in his inner circle who were part of our orbit years ago that we fired, and I think some of that is they just have an ax to grind,” DeSantis said.

Chris LaCivita, a top aide to Trump, responded by calling DeSantis a “sad little man.”

But stranger things have happened. Back in 1960, John F. Kennedy and Lyndon Johnson saw the political benefits of joining forces despite loathing each other. This partnership proved decisive in Kennedy’s controversial win over Richard Nixon in the 1960 Presidential election.

Regardless of who Trump picks as VP, helping him out is also in DeSantis’s interest because the Florda governor is widely expected to seek the 2028 GOP nomination for President in what will be a wide-open field. Avoiding Trump’s bad side is crucial because no politician has proven to be a better assassin in primaries than the Donald.

Cherie Currie, former lead vocalist of the iconic 1970s rock band The Runaways, has delivered a vehement condemnation of the Democratic Party and former President Barack Obama.

The former rock vocalist took to her social media to vent her frustrations, from economic issues to foreign policy, and even accused the party of fostering racial division.

“It used to be punk, R&R to vote Democrat. I fell for it,” Currie wrote on X.

“But when your party demands you live in fear, squalor, beyond your means by just buying groceries, gasoline, disrespecting our veterans, our police, our elderly, supporting criminals, chaos, riots, Hamas, failing Israel, demeaning us at every turn! Hurting our children! Wasting our money. Ineptitude with every policy! Lies and more lies… NO MORE! The Democrat Party can kiss my ass. They don’t give a damn. That’s true. Voting Dem used to be cool. But now, it just makes you a fool,” she added.

Currie’s fiery tirade didn’t stop there. She went on to criticize the party’s methods and messaging: “And ohhh are they the master of disguise! They lie and lie! They’ll take it up the rear for a single vote! Despicable sub humans.”

She continued by targeting Barack Obama specifically, questioning his leadership and accusing him of worsening racial tensions in the United States.

“Obama LIED. He was a terrible president, and I VOTED FOR HIM! But only once. Never in my wildest dreams did I think that man could create racism and devolve us as a nation. He did that. He’s a liar. A mistake! We are in this racist hellhole thanks to him!”

One user responded to her post, highlighting a shift in political perspectives: “The tables turned. What the Democratic Party is today, 80’s democrats would have condemned. Trump had much to do with identifying the crooks, or ‘The Swamp.’ That inflamed the liars. What a mess! Lol”

To which Currie replied, “A mess is an understatement at this point! But I’m with ya!!”
