Contra AfghanEvac, President Donald Trump is keeping his pledge to Americans by permanently ending Afghan migration into our country.

Some veterans of the Afghanistan war are lobbying fiercely in Washington to resume admitting Afghan migrants, a process that the Trump administration has currently frozen. Many of these veterans are associated with an advocacy coalition called AfghanEvac, which maintains that America’s national honor will be stained if any Afghan allies are left behind under the Taliban. How many Afghans this coalition wants to bring to the United States is unclear, but the fact that we have already resettled some 200,000 Afghans appears to be, for this coalition, just a down payment on a debt that they believe America owes.

While AfghanEvac talks about America’s honor vis-à-vis these foreign nationals, the coalition would have President Donald Trump go back on his word to his voters, arguably his strongest campaign promise, to end our country’s unprecedented migration chaos. As AfghanEvac lobbies Congress and the White House for more migrants, the president is deeply engaged in cleaning up the national security and rule-of-law catastrophe caused by the Biden administration in opening the border to some 8.3 million foreigners. The 200,000 Afghans, admitted in 2021–24, were part of that chaos. The Biden administration poorly vetted these migrants and failed to confirm that they even helped the American cause in the war.

A closer examination of AfghanEvac reveals that it consists not just of U.S. veterans, although they are in the lead, but it also includes America’s professional open-border lobby: NGOs that are fundamentally anti-Trump and represent a key constituency of the Biden presidency. These are the same NGOs that received literal billions in federal subsidies from the Biden administration and never saw a foreign national population that they did not want to relocate into the United States. Republican Congressmen and conservatives sympathetic to AfghanEvac should ask these veterans why they are making common cause with these open-border, far-left NGOs.

The anti-Trump organizations include groups like Human Rights First; the Coalition for Humane Immigrant Rights; Church World Service; U.S. Committee for Refugees and Immigrants; and the Biden administration’s signature open-borders group, “Welcome.US.” All of these NGOs were co-conspirators and abettors of President Joe Biden’s deliberate attack on the nation’s normal immigration laws, labor markets, and social service systems all across the country. Not only did these same groups attempt to legitimize Biden’s migration lawlessness; they siphoned off scandalous salaries and perks from the billions of federal subsidies that the Biden administration doled out as political payoffs.

One of the AfghanEvac coalition members is an outfit known as Innovation Law Lab, which asserts:

Like you, we are frustrated by the persistent exclusion of immigrants from civil society, the for-profit detention and deportation system, the immoral and inhumane restrictions on movement, and the unrelenting assault on those fleeing persecution. By scaling the impact of immigrant advocates working on-the-ground to defeat the Vast Deportation Machine, we are able to build permanent pathways to immigrant and refugee justice.

Republicans in Congress should ask AfghanEvac leaders to research how many lawsuits the Innovation Law Lab has helped bring against the Trump administration to keep illegal migrants, including criminal terrorists like Tren de Aragua gang members, in our country.

AfghanEvac’s far-left partners marshal all of the radical Biden arguments to keep America’s borders open: they point to climate change, white supremacy, and the supposed absolute right of foreigners to enter our country. Groups like Human Rights First and the Coalition for Humane Immigrant Rights are all about ending the Trump administration’s Remain in Mexico policies and legalizing illegal migrants.

In fairness, most of the AfghanEvac veterans are probably not sympathetic with the radicals in these open-border NGOs. But still these veterans must acknowledge, when they lobby Republican Congressmen and White House officials, that AfghanEvac is in an unholy alliance with groups dedicated to undermining Trump’s core policies. While some in the AfghanEvac coalition, perhaps, have relatively modest goals—for example, just to process all Afghans with putative claims to special immigrant visas (SIVs)—their partners in the refugee and resettlement lobby are licking their chops to process hundreds of thousands, even millions, of new Afghan migrants. That is something President Trump should never permit to happen.

We must recognize that it is out of high principle that the veterans remain bound to the Afghan translator, the driver, the intelligence operative who risked his life to work with U.S. soldiers, marines, spies, and diplomats. Americans acknowledge the deep ties of fellowship that are forged in war-time. But this sentiment cannot be the basis, post-Biden, of another immigration wave. The many tens of thousands of such personal commitments Americans made to Afghans must be measured in the context of the long-term U.S. national interest.

The original U.S. military incursion into Afghanistan had nothing to do with the well-being of the Afghans. Washington policymakers, of both parties, morphed our country’s 2001 counterterrorism mission to kill Osama Bin Laden and destroy Al Qaeda into a foolhardy two-decade nation-building project. Today, most Americans might reasonably conclude that merely undertaking that mammoth 20-year enterprise, an effort that claimed the lives of almost 2,500 of our countrymen, more than fulfilled any obligations that Uncle Sam has to the remote Central Asian country.

Those veterans committed to AfghanEvac might consider redefining the discharge of their perceived obligations by other means than encouraging migration to the United States. There is much to be said for private initiatives that deliver money and material support for Afghans to stay and fight for their country, to go underground to outlast the Taliban. Afghans waiting in third countries can be helped to reinfiltrate back to their native soil. Why is the only honorable “solution” facilitating Afghans to abandon their homeland for an alien country where they can drive an Uber or open up a restaurant?

Yes, Afghanistan is a complicated, multi-tribal, multi-ethnic country, but one also with strong traditions of survival and resistance that outlasted the British Empire and Soviet occupation. There is at least a plausible argument that Afghanistan will be better off in the long run if all our allies remain, resist, and hold out for their country’s future. If the United States were sinking into oppression, most AfghanEvac veterans, even facing a national situation as bleak as Afghanistan’s, would not respond by emigrating to Canada.

Finally, the veterans must acknowledge that the U.S. government does not have the capacity to reliably vet the Afghans who have already entered our country, not to mention all those who would seek to come. Discharging the American debt to Afghanistan certainly does not require our country to run unacceptably high risks of admitting terrorists and criminals. When they are lobbying, AfghanEvac advocates must address the fact that U.S. government vetting is seriously inadequate and vulnerable to error at such a level that the risk of admitting Afghan enemies or criminals remains too high.

The Trump administration is right to permanently halt refugees and migrants coming from Afghanistan. Trump is right to defund Biden’s corrupt refugee and resettlement lobby. He is right to keep his pledge to the American people in the 2024 campaign. That is the highest American honor at stake in all of this business.

To Get an Iran Deal, Trump Should Stop Threatening War

To Get an Iran Deal, Trump Should Stop Threatening War

U.S. intelligence has determined that Tehran isn’t building the bomb.

The intelligence community is the eyes and ears of the White House. Presidents only know what it tells them. The most up-to-date intelligence tells President Donald Trump that Iran is not pursuing a nuclear weapon. Yet Trump continues to threaten war unless Iran agrees to give up the nuclear weapons program that Washington knows Tehran does not have.

In March, the new Trump administration received its first Annual Threat Assessment, which compiles insights from the intelligence community. Looking at Iran’s domestic politics, the report says that, “in the past year, there has been an erosion of a decades-long taboo on discussing nuclear weapons in public that has emboldened nuclear weapons advocates within Iran’s decisionmaking apparatus.” If true, this development is hardly surprising, given Iran’s increasing vulnerability. The report notes “the degradation to [Iran’s] proxies and air defenses during the Gaza conflict” and the ouster of Syrian leader Bashar al-Assad, who had been an Iranian ally.

Nonetheless, the report says that the intelligence community “continue[s] to assess Iran is not building a nuclear weapon and that [Ayatollah] Khamenei has not reauthorized the nuclear weapons program he suspended in 2003.”

The findings of the Annual Threat Assessment haven’t had a moderating influence on Trump’s rhetoric, which if anything has become only more bellicose. “If they don’t make a deal, there will be bombing,” he told NBC News Saturday evening. On March 7, a couple weeks before the Assessment was published, the president had told FOX Business, “There are two ways Iran can be handled: militarily, or you make a deal. I would prefer to make a deal, because I’m not looking to hurt Iran.” That same day, Trump told reporters, “We’re down to final strokes with Iran…. Final moments. Can’t let them have a nuclear weapon…. Hopefully we can have a peace deal…. I’m just saying I’d rather see a peace deal than the other, but the other will solve the problem.”

In the FOX Business interview, Trump revealed that he had sent a letter to Khamenei warning that the alternative to diplomacy was war. Barak Ravid of Axios reported that the letter included a two-month deadline for striking a nuclear deal. “[I]f Iran rejects Trump’s outreach and doesn’t negotiate, the chances of U.S. or Israeli military action against Iran’s nuclear facilities would dramatically increase,” Ravid wrote.

Trump’s threats are disproportionate to, and inconsistent with, the latest U.S. intelligence. And the Annual Threat Assessment is not the first report that has informed Washington that Iran likely isn’t pursuing a nuclear weapon.

A series of reports by the International Atomic Energy Agency verified that Iran was completely and consistently in compliance with its commitments under the 2015 Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA)—the Iran nuclear deal—up until the time that Trump pulled out of it in May 2018.

The 2022 U.S. Department of Defense Nuclear Posture Review concluded that “Iran does not today possess a nuclear weapon and we currently believe it is not pursuing one.” In 2023, then-CIA Director William Burns said that “[t]o the best of our knowledge, we don’t believe that the supreme leader in Iran has yet made a decision to resume the weaponization program.” A year later, Burns said, “No, we do not see evidence today that the supreme leader has reversed the decision that he took at the end of 2003 to suspend the weaponization program… We don’t see evidence today that such a decision [to build a bomb] has been made. We watch it very carefully.” As recently as this February, even Trump said that, “There are many people at the top ranks of Iran that do not want to have a nuclear weapon.”

Iran has resisted U.S. coercion to negotiate. In February, Khamenei pointed to America’s not honoring the JCPOA and said, “One must not negotiate with a government like the US government. Negotiations with it is not wise, it is not intelligent, and is not honorable.” The next month, Khamenei explained further, in a post on X, why Iran isn’t willing to negotiate. “This same US president tore up the signed JCPOA agreement. How could we hold negotiations with US when we know they don’t fulfill their commitments?”

Prior to Trump’s threats, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian had advocated for direct negotiations with the United States, and Khamenei had supported him. Now Pezeshkian insists that Iran “will not yield to foreign pressure.” Earlier this month, Pezeshkian responded to U.S. threats by saying, “the language of threats and coercion is absolutely unacceptable… It is unacceptable for someone to come along and say, ‘Don’t do this, don’t do that, or else.’ I won’t come to negotiate with you. Go do whatever the hell you want.”

Still, Iran has said that, though direct negotiations with the U.S. are impossible until “there is a change in the other side’s approach towards” Tehran, the “way is open for indirect negotiations.” Last week on Thursday, after Tehran sent its response to Trump’s letter, Iran’s foreign minister reiterated that, “Our policy is still to not engage in direct negotiations while under maximum pressure and military threats, however, as it was the case in the past, indirect negotiations can continue.”

Trump, rather than lowering the rhetorical pressure, responded on Friday with one of his most ominous threats yet. While reiterating that his “big preference is that we work it out with Iran,” he told reporters in the Oval Office that “if we don’t work it out, bad, bad things are going to happen to Iran.” The next day, in the NBC News interview, he elaborated on what the “very bad things” would be, threatening Iran with “bombing the likes of which they have never seen before.”

The open way to indirect negotiations may have recently become much rockier, and not just because of the president’s harsh rhetoric. On CBS’s Face the Nation, National Security Advisor Mike Waltz seemed to say that Iran would have to give up not only the nuclear weapons program that they don’t have but the civilian nuclear program that they do. Waltz said that the U.S. is demanding “full dismantlement.” Iran, Waltz said, “has to give up its program” and stop “enrichment,” seemingly meaning that Tehran must cease enriching uranium even for civilian purposes. “The full program,” he said, “give it up or there will be consequences.” Waltz added that Iran would also have to give up its “strategic missile program.”

Iran is unlikely to negotiate the elimination of its missile program. Especially now, with the degradation of its front-line proxy defense, the missile program is a crucial part of Iran’s defense strategy.

They are also unlikely to negotiate the elimination of their civilian nuclear program. Iran is a signatory to the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT), which declares that “Nothing in this Treaty shall be interpreted as affecting the inalienable right of all the Parties to the Treaty to develop research, production and use of nuclear energy for peaceful purposes.”

It is not clear how threatening Iran with war benefits the U.S. or the world. Iran was in compliance with the Iran nuclear deal that Trump tore up and even today signals some openness to reviving diplomacy. Tehran maintains that it has “never abandoned the negotiating table” and is willing to discuss alleged military aspects of its civilian nuclear energy program. That should be enough, since, according to U.S. intelligence, Iran is not pursuing a nuclear weapons program, and according to the NPT, it has the right to civilian nuclear energy.

Trump campaigned against Forever Wars. In his inaugural address, he said his legacy would “be that of a peacemaker” and that his success would be measured “by the wars that we end – and perhaps more importantly, the wars we never get into.” According to the Annual Threat Assessment, Iran presents no pressing need to break that promise mere months into Trump’s second administration. The president says he wants to sign a deal with Iran, but so far, his extreme threats seem to be making that diplomatic goal more difficult to achieve.

Federal Judge Edward Chan from San Francisco Blocks Trump from Ending Temporary Protected Status for 350,000 Venezuelan Illegal Migrants

Obama appointee Judge Edward Chen

Federal District Judge Edward Chen, a Barack Obama appointee, took his turn at playing President of the United States on Monday.

Chen blocked President Trump from ending the temporary protected status for 350,000 Venezuelan illegal migrants.

Judge Chen’s move is a godsend to the estimated 350,000 Venezuelans who entered the country illegally. Many of these same illegal migrants have been wreaking havoc across the US since they entered the country under Joe Biden.

Judge Chen wants these illegals to stick around a while longer.

Check this nonsensical statement by Chen in his anti-American ruling.

Noem “threatens to: inflict irreparable harm on hundreds of thousands of persons whose lives, families, and livelihoods will be severely disrupted, cost the United States billions in economic activity, and injure public health and safety in communities throughout the United States.”

So we are supposed to pretend these illegals were not costing the US millions and were actually bringing in billions in economic activity.

And, we’re also supposed to pretend that Judge Chen cares about America’s well-being?

Who wrote that up? Soros’s Open Society? And where’s his proof for a single statement he made?

Stephen Miller weighed in.

This is what we mean by judicial tyranny. Biden mass imported illegals from Venezuela, including criminals, gave them welfare and social security numbers. President Trump won an election promising to end the invasion. A rogue marxist judge just ordered Biden’s amnesty continued. https://t.co/tuJJoxFA5M

9th Circuit Court of Appeals Stacked with Leftist Judges Denies Trump Request to Pause Lower Court’s Block on Transgender Military Ban

A panel of judges on the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals on Monday denied the Trump DOJ’s request to pause a lower court’s block on the administration’s transgender military ban.

A second federal judge last week temporarily blocked President Trump’s ban on transgender troops.

In January President Trump signed the “Restoring America’s Fighting Force” executive order and the “Prioritizing Military Excellence and Readiness” executive orders, which direct every element of the U.S. military to “operate free from any preference based on race or sex” and root out gender insanity and made up pronoun usage, respectively.

US District Judge Benjamin Hale Settle in Washington State, issued a nationwide preliminary injunction last week.

Judge Settle, a George W. Bush appointee, said the Trump DOJ’s arguments have not been persuasive.

Trump’s DOJ filed an appeal on Friday.

Dem Senator Chris Coons of Delaware Says Americans Are Too Stupid to Find Greenland on a Map (VIDEO)

During a recent appearance on CNN, Democrat Senator Chris Coons of Delaware suggested that Americans are too stupid to find Greenland on a map.

Democrats simply can’t help themselves. Their party currently has an approval rating in the 20s and still sinking, and instead of trying to endear themselves to the American people, we get this. We get insults and condescension.

If Chris Coons wanted to talk about the idea of Greenland becoming part of the United States, even if he is against it, he could have just presented a logical argument.

Townhall reports:

In remarks that the Rapid Response 47 X account aptly noted amounted to Democrats “SHOWING THEIR TRUE COLORS,” Coons offered that “your average Middle American” couldn’t even find Greenland on a map, implying that they were too stupid.

“Look, your average Trump voters laughs at us and says ‘he’s owning the libs,’ and your average Middle American says ‘why are you wasting your time on Greenland? I can’t even find it on a map!’”

A fuller clip shared by Bash doesn’t exactly help, as Coons laughed over President Donald Trump’s remarks about his interest in the territory, even calling them “insane.” Without missing a beat, after he insulted “your average Middle American,” Coons went on to fearmonger about threatening the NATO alliance, as he also mentioned concerns from the Danes and Canadians.

The senator also went on to stress that “we have to focus on the two issues that I said were the main issues to the Democratic Party and working Americans.” If that’s really the case, why would Coons make such an insulting point about part of the country, and one that Republicans aptly capitalize on.

Here’s the video:

Comedian Tim Dillon Has Savagely Funny Take on Rachel Zegler and the Bombing Snow White Movie (VIDEO)

The Snow White movie featuring Rachel Zegler is positively bombing and it’s very easy to see why.

It’s not a good movie, and it’s overly woke, but to make matters even worse, star Rachel Zegler has repeatedly shot off her mouth over the last two years, turning off potential audience members in the process. What did Disney expect to happen?

Enter comedian Tim Dillon, with a very funny take on the whole thing.

Partial transcript by JFeed:

“Someone has to put her in a cage,” Dillon said on a recent episode of his podcast. “There’s no other way to say it. She should not be allowed out if she’s going to behave like this while she has a movie out.”

“When actors and actresses talk, you realize they’re the biggest losers in the world,” Dillon said. “The reason we tolerate them is because we don’t know them. They read words written by other people, and all their appearances are carefully managed. But when they go off-script, you realize they suck—and we hate them.”

“That’s what’s really destroying the industry,” he said. “Sure, there are a million reasons—but the biggest? These people, when just given the chance, completely f*** everything up by talking.”

“No one is asking for their opinions. No one cares,” he added.

Watch the video below, but heads up on language. There are lots of four-letter words here:

TIM DILLON ON RACHEL ZEGLER: ACTORS SHOULD BE PUT IN A CAGE IF THEY CAN’T STOP TALKING

“These actors destroy everything by speaking.

No one wants their opinions—they’re not saving Gaza, they’re Snow White.

It’s difficult to argue with any of what Dillon says here. Rachel Zegeler others in Hollywood would be so wise to stay out of current affairs.

Attorney General Pam Bondi Announces Federal Charges Against Colorado Tesla Firebomber (VIDEO)

Mugshot for Cooper Frederick/ Larimer Country Sheriff’s Department

US Attorney General Pam Bondi on Monday afternoon announced federal charges against another Tesla firebomber.

This time, the Justice Department unsealed federal charges against Cooper Frederick, 24, in the firebombing of the Tesla dealership in Loveland, Colorado.

The Loveland Tesla dealership was targeted by vandals numerous times in the last few weeks.

One of the suspects, Cooper Frederick, targeted the Loveland Tesla dealership with an ‘incendiary device’ on March 7.

Frederick was arrested on March 14 and charged with second-degree arson, use of explosives or incendiary devices during a felony, criminal mischief and others crimes, NBC 15 reported.

On Monday Pam Bondi warned others who are thinking about participating in acts of ‘domestic terrorism’ against Tesla properties as she announced charges against Cooper Frederick.

“I’ve made it clear, if you take part in the wave of domestic terrorism against Tesla properties, we will find you, arrest you, and put you behind bars. Today, I’m proud to announce that the Department of Justice has unsealed federal charges against another Tesla attacker. We’ve charged Cooper Frederick in the fire bombing of a Tesla dealership that occurred on March 7th in Loveland, Colorado,” Pam Bondi said.

“There will be no negotiating. We are seeking 20 years in prison,” Pam Bondi said.

“The crime was committed in Colorado, and thanks to the great investigative work by the FBI, the defendant was arrested in Plano, Texas. Let this be a warning. You can run, but you cannot hide. Justice is coming,” Bondi added.

WATCH: Crazed TikToker Calls on Illegals to “Shoot at ICE Agents on Sight” – DHS Sec. Kristi Noem Vows Prosecution!

A TikToker posing as a legal expert posted a disturbing video recently where he falsely tells illegal aliens facing deportation that they “have every right to shoot” at ICE agents in an attempt to incite violence against law enforcement.

“If ICE agents are trying to take you or a loved one, shoot them on sight,” he says, attempting to convince people that they’d have “the best self-defense case.”

“You might as well shoot them on site and have your day in court,” he adds.

The individual claims that ICE agents are “pulling up” without identifying themselves, wearing masks, and driving unmarked vehicles. “It could be anybody,” he says. “It could be gang members. You have every right to shoot at ’em.”

WATCH:

Shoot at ICE agents on sight. That’s right. If ICE agents are trying to take you or a loved one, shoot them on sight.

The way they’re pulling up with masks on, with unmarked vehicles, no badge, no nothing, it could be anybody. It could be gang members. You have every right to shoot at ’em. This would be the best self defense case. You’re just in fear for your life. You don’t know who’s behind that unmarked vehicle or who’s behind that mask. This is ridiculous.

What is our country coming to? why would you want to be a ice agent anyway? Do you like separating kids from their parents? Do you like deporting students that are studying? I can understand deporting a gang member or criminals, but innocent people is ridiculous.

The way these ICE agents are pulling up with masks on, unmarked vehicles, they are pulling up like gang members. They are pulling up like the mafia. You might as well shoot them on site and have your day in court. Take care guys. Now I’m out.

DHS Secretary Kristi Noem responded to this lunatic’s calls for violence against ICE Agents, indicating that the individual will be prosecuted.

“If you threaten or attempt to harm a law enforcement officer, we will find you and prosecute you to the fullest extent of the law,” she said.

Harvard May Lose Up to $8 Billion in Federal Funding as Part of Trump’s Civil Rights Review

The Trump administration may pull as much as $8 billion in federal funding from Harvard University as part of its review of higher education.

In a press release on Monday, the Department of Education and the Department of Health and Human Services announced a “comprehensive review of federal contracts and grants at Harvard University and its affiliates” as part of its ongoing efforts of the Joint Task Force to Combat Anti-Semitism.

The Task Force will examine over $255.6 million in federal contracts awarded to Harvard University and its affiliated institutions, as well as the over $8.7 billion in long-term federal grant commitments to Harvard and its affiliates.

The purpose of the review is to ensure that the university is fully adhering to federal regulations, including its obligations under civil rights law.

Secretary of Education Linda McMahon explained:

Harvard has served as a symbol of the American Dream for generations – the pinnacle aspiration for students all over the world to work hard and earn admission to the storied institution.

Harvard’s failure to protect students on campus from anti-Semitic discrimination – all while promoting divisive ideologies over free inquiry – has put its reputation in serious jeopardy.

Harvard can right these wrongs and restore itself to a campus dedicated to academic excellence and truth-seeking, where all students feel safe on its campus.

This development follows the Trump administration’s recent decision to withdraw over $400 million in federal funding from Columbia University, pressuring the institution to overhaul its disciplinary procedures and bring its Middle Eastern, African, and South Asian studies departments under tighter administrative oversight.

Columbia University Folds After Trump Imposes Federal Funding Freeze — Suspends and Expels Students Involved in Anti-Israel Protests

Columbia eventually complied with several of the government’s conditions, but the move triggered left-wing outcry and led to the sudden removal of the university’s interim president.

Now facing a similar investigation, Harvard will have to decide how far it’s willing to go to protect its access to federal resources.

While the announcement regarding Harvard did not specify particular demands, it did reference the document previously issued to Columbia outlining the federal conditions.

Despite being widely regarded as the most prestigious university in the world, Harvard’s reputation has been damaged over recent years amid its student’s far-left activism and racial discrimination against white applicants.

Last year, Harvard President Claudine Gay was forced to resign from her position after researchers found dozens of examples of plagiarism within her academic work.

She was also the subject of significant criticism after refusing to condemn calls for the genocide of Jew from various Harvard students.
