Kansas Governor Laura Kelly, a Democrat, has vetoed legislation that would have extended child support to fetuses.

The legislation was supported by anti-abortion groups who hoped to grant more rights to unborn babies.

Republicans who supported the bill argued that they were working to help mothers cover the costs associated with pregnancy and delivery.

However, Kelly claimed that the bill was a “blatant attempt by extreme politicians in the Legislature to take more control over women and their families’ personal, private medical decisions.”

In a press release about the veto, Kelly wrote, “This divisive legislation has broad and sweeping implications that undermine the will of the majority of Kansans who voted overwhelmingly in 2022 to protect the constitutional rights of women to make decisions about pregnancy. This is another blatant attempt by extreme politicians in the Legislature to take more control over women and their families’ personal, private medical decisions.”

The governor claimed that helping women afford to carry babies to term would “go against the will” of those who support abortions.

“Kansans already made it very clear that they don’t want lawmakers involved in personal matters,” the press release continued. “It’s time we listen to them. As I have said before, I refuse to sign legislation that goes against the will of the majority of Kansans who voted on August 2, 2022.”

The Associated Press noted, “The Legislature has long had supermajorities that oppose abortion and GOP lawmakers this year overrode Kelly’s vetoes of four other measures backed by anti-abortion groups.”

“Now she won’t allow women to have the potential for additional child support,” Jeanne Gawdun, a lobbyist for Kansans for Life, the state’s most politically influential anti-abortion group, told the AP. “This will not deter those of us who actually have compassion for women in difficult situations.”

President Trump is back in court today in front of a New York City jury in the ongoing lawfare case where the prosecution has still not defined the criminal act that President Trump allegedly took part in.

Cohen has already served time in prison in another Trump prosecution by the Democrats and deep state.

Today in court Cohen played audio of a secret recording he took between himself and his client Donald Trump. Attorney-Client privilege is a right for every American except Donald Trump.

He went in front of Congress and lied, got convicted. There’s so many times he’s told this story. And now the prosecution really, I think, is expecting him to say more than he’s ever said. And I think that’s very dangerous because a jury, it’ll fall right into the hands of, are you lying then or are you lying now? And I just don’t think he’s going to be credible once they get done with him. But, you know, this is distracting us from so many other important issues like the insecure border that the FBI director has said has caused the most dangerous threat environment since 911. It’s just really despicable.

As former President Donald Trump faces trial over alleged hush money payments, Republican support is visible, with high-profile lawmakers arriving in New York to stand with him.

On Monday, Trump’s cohort included notable figures such as Sen. JD Vance (R-Ohio), who is also rumored to be Trump’s vice president contender, Sen. Tommy Tuberville (R-Ala.), and Rep. Nicole Malliotakis (R-N.Y.), representing parts of New York City.

Outside the courthouse, Vance vocally criticized the proceedings, telling reporters, “To the American voters watching this, your chance to voice opposition against what he called a ‘sham prosecution’ and to reaffirm that ‘the American people elect their President, not corrupt DNC prosecutors’, comes in November when you vote for Donald Trump,” Vance said.

Within the courtroom, the trio of lawmakers was positioned in the gallery’s second row, a mere 10 feet behind Trump, showcasing their support, according to The Hill.

Convicted perjurer Michael Cohen, a central figure in the case, is set to testify against Trump today.

Sen. Vance shared several observations inside the “dingy” courthouse:

1) We started in Trump Tower with a beautiful view of Central Park. Then you come to a dingy court house with people like Alvin Bragg. They prevent his supporters from getting too close to the court house, and they prevent his friends from standing too close to him. The president is expected to sit here for six weeks to listen to the Michael Cohens of the world. I’m now convinced the main goal of this trial is psychological torture. But Trump is in great spirits.

2) We’ve seen a couple mask wearers. [Sen. Tommy Tuberville] turns to me and says “looks like we forgot our masks.”

3) I saw a media report a few days ago that Trump looked like he was falling asleep or bored or something. The obvious narrative they’re trying to sell is “yeah Biden is mentally unfit but this other guy is bad too.” It’s an absurd narrative. I’m 39 years old and I’ve been here for 26 minutes and I’m about to fall asleep,

4) Cohen can’t remember how old his son is or how old he was when he started to work for Trump but I’m sure he remembers extremely small details from years ago!

5) Michael Cohen admitting he secretly recorded his employer. Just totally normal conduct, right? The best part is he said he did it only once and only for Trump’s benefit. A standup guy!

A 2018 letter from Michael Cohen’s lawyers admitting Trump knew nothing about the Stormy Daniels ‘hush money’ transaction re-emerged this year as the judge set the trial date.

Last year the Daily Mail obtained a 2018 letter from Michael Cohen’s lawyer stating Cohen used his own personal money to pay Porn Star Stormy Daniels in 2016.

The letter also states that the Trump Org nor the Trump campaign reimbursed Michael Cohen for the $130,000 payment to Stormy Daniels.

This directly contradicts Cohen’s testimony – not surprising given Michael Cohen is a convicted perjurer.

Did you see the Wildwood New Jersey rally for President Trump over the weekend? The NY Post estimated there were over 100,000 Trump fans in attendance. In deep blue New Jersey!

Yes, size matters.

Nothing like this has ever happened in the history of American politics. 100,000 people with nothing better to do on a beautiful weekend beach day on the Jersey shore, but to fight traffic and parking nightmares, and get jammed into a political rally, with porta-potties, to listen to a politician speak.

This is called a phenomenon.

And this is no aberration. See the latest polls. Trump is up by double digits nationally. More importantly, Trump is dominating battleground states (which determine the electoral winner) like no one since Reagan.

In the latest battleground polls produced by the ultra-liberal and biased NY Times, Siena College, and Philadelphia Inquirer, Trump is destroying Biden. He’s up by a landslide 12 points in my home state of Nevada, by 10 points in Georgia, by 7 points in Michigan and Arizona, and by 3 in Pennsylvania. Wisconsin is a dead tie (within the margin of error).

This is with Biden enjoying a booming stock market…tens of millions of dollars spent by the Biden campaign for TV ads in battleground states…Trump convicted in civil court in New York…and on criminal trial for his life, involving an affair with a porn star. How is this possible?

I call it, “Show and Tell.”

Usually, people believe the lies, propaganda and misinformation they see and hear from the mainstream media. This time is different. Remember watching “Show and Tell” in 3rd grade? Telling someone is one thing, but to actually see it and feel it, is proof!

That’s why Trump is winning big. It starts with “the economy, stupid.” Everyone can see and feel inflation destroying their wallets, pocketbooks, bank accounts and budgets. They can see it and feel it in every grocery bill, restaurant bill, electric and gas bill, and at the gasoline pump.

This time, you can’t fool them, brainwash them, or gaslight them. No amount of propaganda works, when it comes to inflation. Because everyone can see it and feel it.

This is “Show and Tell.”

The government and media can cover-up Hunter Biden’s laptop, but they can’t cover-up inflation.

Secondly, this witch-hunt against Trump is not happening in secret. It’s all out in the open. No amount of propaganda, or gaslighting can hide this witch-hunt. Everyone can see with their own eyes that what’s happening to Trump is “injustice.” The charges are bogus, ridiculous, or aimed at only one man for the first time in history. The judges and juries are rigged. Trump is being persecuted and framed by a weaponized government.

The J6 prisoners are being tortured with cruel and unusual punishment, while radical leftist protesters like BLM, antifa and pro Hamas get the kid glove treatment. The DOJ goes after Catholics and PTA moms. Everyone sees it. Everyone is starting to understand, next it could happen to you and me.

Again, it’s “Show and Tell.”

America is becoming a combination of the Soviet Gulag, 1930’s Nazi Germany, and a Latin America Banana Republic.

Finally, perhaps the most important reason of all for the Trump landslide. For the first time, the American people can officially see and feel the difference between Trump/Republican rallies and Biden/Democrat rallies.

And the difference is frightening.

Turn on the TV. Just look at the makeup and personality of the people at Trump rallies. They are “apple pie and Chevrolet.” Hard-working, law-abiding, salt-of-the-earth Americans. Patriots of all kinds, proudly waving American flags. They look like your mom and dad, your grandparents. The people who made America great.

Until now, we had no Biden rallies to compare.

Since the day Biden started running for president in 2020, Biden has had very few rallies. On the rare occasions he leaves his basement, 50 people show up- 25 of them are media, the rest are Democrat Party officials.

But now for the first time, we actually have a comparison.

Look at the anti-Israel, anti-American rallies at college campuses across America. These are Obama/Biden/Democrat voters. They are filled with hate and rage for America, Israel, Jews, Christians, capitalism, police and military.

Not one of these radical, communist, low-lives has ever contemplated voting for Trump, or any Republican.

Their signs and chants say, “Death to Jews” “Death to Israel” “Death to America” “We are Hamas” “Intifada” and “End Capitalism.” They burn American flags and desecrate statues of American heroes. They threaten the lives of Jewish students. These aren’t patriots, they’re pigs.

These are enemies from within.

These are rioters, looters, torchers, thugs. They block Jewish students from entering classrooms, just like the KKK used to block black students. One day soon they will murder an innocent Jewish student.

This is the base of the Democrat Party. Vile, violent, radical Jew- haters and America haters.

“Show and tell.” Everyone can see and feel it. Normal God-fearing Americans don’t like what they see. Normal people don’t want America to look like this. They certainly don’t want people like this in power.

Trump attracts 100,000 patriots- with love in their hearts for America, American exceptionalism, the American Dream and yes, Israel too.

And these anti-Israel rallies attract a few hundred dirtbags, Hamas sympathizers and outright terrorists. This is the Democrat base. You can’t cover it up.

That’s why Trump’s lead is exploding. That’s why 100,000 Americans showed up for a Trump rally on a beautiful weekend beach day, in deep blue New Jersey.

“Show and Tell” is the phenomenon that is producing a shocking Trump landslide.

I’m certain Democrats are busy scheming how to replace Biden at the Democrat convention. But this is so big, even Michelle Obama can’t save the Democrats now.

The New York Times poll has Biden up in Michigan by 1 point for some reason.

CNN reporter Harry Enten called the latest swing state polling an “absolute disaster” for Joe Biden and the Democrat Marxists.

Harry Enton: Look, these Sunbelt battlegrounds say, frankly, for the Joe Biden campaign, these numbers are an absolute disaster. The smallest leaders are in Arizona. For Donald Trump, he’s up six. Look at this. Nine in Georgia, 13 in Nevada! My goodness gracious. My God! that is a huge lead! No Democrat has lost that state since John Kerry lost it back in 2004. How about these Great Lake battleground states? This is something that the Joe Biden campaign can work with. Look, Pennsylvania, Donald Trump up three, but that’s well within the margin of error. Harry Enton: So this is among likely voters in all these battleground states we just spoke about. Back in 2020, 84% of the Trump campaigns of the Trump coalition was white. Look where it is. Now it’s 78%. The nonwhite portion of the Trump coalition, it was 13% in 2020. Look at this. Now it’s 19%. So the Trump coalition is becoming more diverse. And of course, those sunbelt battleground states are more diverse than the Great Lake battleground states.

The United Nations has seemingly revised the estimated number of women and children it believes have been killed in Gaza during Israel’s war on Hamas, blaming the “fog of war” for the mistake.

In a graphic featured within OCHA’s recent daily briefing on May 6th, it was claimed that approximately 9,500 women had lost their lives in the ongoing conflict. The organization also cited data sourced from the Hamas-administered Ministry of Health in Gaza asserting that since hostilities began last October, roughly 14,500 children had been killed.

Yet just two days later, the U.N. agency appeared to revise these figures significantly downward in its subsequent report. The updated data indicated that approximately 4,959 women and 7,797 children had lost their lives.

The UN has just HALVED its estimate of women and children killed in Gaza.

And this still counts 16 & 17 year old terrorists as children.

The conflict erupted following a brutal attack by Hamas militants in southern Israel from Gaza, resulting in the deaths of over 1,200 individuals, predominantly civilians, and the taking of approximately 240 individuals as hostages.

A reporter from the Jewish News Syndicate (JNS) asked the U.N. about the revision, with the spokesperson blaming the “fog of war” for the errors.

“The revisions are taken … you know, of course, in the fog of war, it’s difficult to come up with numbers,”  Farhan Haq, deputy spokesman for U.N. Secretary-General António Guterres, said at a press conference last Friday.

“We get numbers from different sources on the ground, and then we try to cross check them. As we cross check them, we update the numbers, and we’ll continue to do that as that progresses.”

UN revises Gaza death toll, almost 50% less women and children killed than previously reported.

Hamas’ death toll figures have been disputed by Israel, yet they have been quoted by media, humanitarian organizations and world leaders, including Biden.

The revision takes place as global tensions and backlash over Israel’s war against Hamas threaten to boil over, with many nations accusing them of committing genocide against the Palestinians, a charge that Israel and its allies have fervently denied.

Over the weekend, neighboring Egypt confirmed that it would formally support South Africa’s genocide case at the International Court of Justice (ICJ), stating that Israel has acted “in flagrant violation of the provisions of international law, international humanitarian law, and the Fourth Convention of 1949 for the protection of civilian persons in time of war”.

One black voter in Milwaukee slammed Joe Biden for his racist “you ain’t black” rant.

Recall that during the 2020 presidential election, racist Joe Biden told black radio host Charlamagne tha God that black Americans “ain’t black” if they don’t vote for him.

“If you have a problem figuring out whether you’re for me or Trump, then you ain’t black!” Biden said from his Delaware basement in 2020.

In a stunning display of irony and contradiction that borders on the absurd, an associate dean tasked with upholding gender equality at Columbia University cut off and muted a fellow professor during a faculty senate meeting earlier this month when the latter professor warned her colleagues that the Ivy League school had been infiltrated by outsiders with “known ties to terrorist organizations.”

And yes, these are groups that literally support terrorists and who are known for their oppressive attitudes towards women.

The irony of a gender equality dean silencing warnings about groups with known oppressive attitudes towards women was not lost on anyone who observed the incident, which took place via Zoom on May 3, mere hours after Hamilton Hall was overrun by a mob of Hamas-supporting students.

“I do want to emphasize that there really is a need for good security on campus and it was very clear prior to Tuesday night that the university was unable to do that given the number of people from outside who were able to pass through our tight security to get onto campus,” Professor Carol Ewing Garber said.

Seconds into her remarks, Associate Dean for Gender Equity and Career Development Jeanine D’Armiento began to cut Garber off. But not before Garber was able to say, “and we do know that there are groups who are supporting terrorists,” according to coverage of the incident by the New York Post.

Instead of addressing these serious allegations, D’Armiento responded by silencing Garber, muted her microphone, dismissed her concerns, and claimed they “have no evidence” of what Garber said.

The Senate meeting then descended into chaos, reflecting deep divisions within the faculty about the handling of such sensitive issues, as other faculty members came to Garber’s defense.

Mind you, these groups that Garber was referring to, beyond their political impact, are known for practices that violently oppress women—actions that should naturally concern anyone dedicated to gender equity.

Yet, when Garber attempted to bring these legitimate security concerns to light, D’Armiento interrupted and muted her, dismissing these concerns due to an alleged lack of evidence and deemed the discussion “unfair.”

Moments after D’Armiento was shut down by fellow faculty, Garber was able to emphasize the need for a thorough investigation into these groups and to, once again, factually point out that “there is evidence that there are groups who are influencing student groups on campus in this country… to behave in certain ways. And there is evidence about those things… And many individuals feel afraid because of that.”

D’Armiento’s response to silence Garber not only raises questions about the role and effectiveness of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion positions but also starkly highlights the contradictions inherent in a gender equity dean dismissing concerns about groups known for gender-based violence.

This could potentially make her the absolutely worst “Dean of Gender Equality” in the history of education.

Furthermore, D’Armiento’s management of the meeting, where she repeatedly asserted “this is my meeting,” only added to the tumult, displaying a troubling approach to governance and dialogue within the university.

This event has ignited a broader discussion on campus about the actions of anti-Israel protesters and the response of the university’s administration, which has been seen as feeble and not doing nearly enough.

In fact, Columbia University groveled to the woke mob and even canceled its main commencement ceremony, scheduled for May 15 in New York City, due to security concerns amid ongoing anti-Israel protests.

The atmosphere at Columbia remains both charged and toxic, as evidenced by subsequent events, including a controversial campus appearance by individuals linked to the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine — a group widely recognized as a terrorist organization.

These developments have only intensified the scrutiny on Columbia’s handling of security and ideological conflicts on campus.

The Zoom incident also underscores the critical need for DEI roles to not only enforce policies but to do so in a manner that genuinely upholds the values of equity and justice they are meant to champion.

With her comments, D’Armiento revealed the truth about DEI positions like hers — they exist not to help minorities but to rigidly enforce whatever the latest leftist orthodoxy or shibboleth happens to be. After all, a genuine advocate for gender equality would not dismiss concerns about entities that perpetuate severe human rights abuses.

And they certainly wouldn’t run interference for those supporting roving packs of sexual abusers (or worse) and silence such a debate.

The Western Journal has asked D’Armiento if she believes running interference for those supporting what amounts to violent rape gang, among other things, on Oct. 7 promotes gender equality. As of publication, she has not responded to our question.

To think, this is what tuition dollars are going to support: a “Dean of Gender Equality” who runs interference for terrorists who brutally tortured women on Oct. 7 and afterward.

The irony of a gender equality dean, tasked with protecting the vulnerable, potentially disregarding the implications of hosting groups on campus that have been infiltrated by entities with oppressive ideologies towards women, should prompt a reevaluation of how DEI initiatives are implemented and perceived in academic settings.

If this pattern of neglect and complicity continues unchecked, America must confront a stark reality: The very institutions meant to foster a just and safe environment are failing in their duty.

Should this persist, unchecked by rigorous oversight and genuine commitment to upholding the principles of equity and justice, the consequences could prove dire for the safety and moral integrity of not just universities, but the nation itself.

The peril of these oversights and explicit interference lies not just in the immediate threats they present, but in the insidious decay of our nation’s foundational values, putting America’s future in grave danger for generations to come.

In the context of Russia’s rapidly expanding successes in the war in Ukraine, and at the onset of President Vladimir Putin’s fifth term, the change of the Defense Minister in a cabinet reshuffle was a surprise both in Russia and abroad.

Putin chose a civilian economist for his new defense minister, in what some see as an attempt to better utilize the defense budget and harness greater innovation.

Andrei Belousov, a former deputy prime minister who specializes in economics, will replace Putin’s long-term ally, Sergei Shoigu, 68, as defense minister.

Reuters reported:

“Putin wants Shoigu, in charge of defense since 2012 and a long-standing friend and ally, to become the secretary of Russia’s powerful Security Council, replacing incumbent Nikolai Patrushev, and to also have responsibilities for the military-industrial complex, the Kremlin said.”

This is by far most significant change made to the military command since the start of the war, and it may be connected to the arrest of deputy Defense Minister Timur Ivanov, a close ally of Shoigu, for corruption.

“Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said the change made sense because Russia was approaching a situation like the Soviet Union in the mid-1980s, when the military and law enforcement authorities accounted for 7.4% of gross domestic product (GDP).

That, said Peskov, meant it was vital to ensure such spending aligned with and was better integrated into the country’s overall economy, which was why Putin now wanted a civilian economist in the defense ministry job.”

Economist Belousov played an important role in overseeing Russia’s drone program.

“Putin’s move, though unexpected, preserves balance at the top of the complex system of personal loyalties that make up the current political system.

The shake-up gives Shoigu a job that is technically regarded as senior to his defense ministry role, ensuring continuity and saving Shoigu’s face. Valery Gerasimov, the chief of Russia’s General Staff and someone with a more hands-on role when it comes to directing the war, will remain in post.”

Putin maintained the chiefs of the Federal Security Service (FSB) and the Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR), as well as foreign minister Sergei Lavrov, in their posts.
