Anti-Establishment Pressure Builds as EU Elections Loom

Anti-Establishment Pressure Builds as EU Elections Loom

Will 2024 see a repetition of the 2016 Brexit-Trump dual victory?

For the first time in two decades, the EU’s parliamentary elections will coincide with America’s presidential election. The West’s great democracies could, theoretically, deliver a systemic shock reminiscent of the Brexit-Trump dual victory in 2016.

This idea warrants some context. The establishment European People’s Party (EU Commissioner Ursula von der Leyen’s party grouping) and Progressive Alliance of Socialists & Democrats will almost certainly retain the top two positions in the parliament.

Euro-watchers are accustomed to seeing lopsided votes on topics that should inspire disagreement: from the treatment of dissenting Central European states, to abortion and sexual education of children, to the ever-present migration issue. (The EU lacks constitutional competencies in most or, arguably, all of these matters.) Vote tallies often reach three-quarters or more for the establishment consensus side. Don’t expect this to change fundamentally after June’s elections.

Despite this legislative dominance, establishment voices are uncomfortable with the winds of public opinion. Journalists and politicians have bemoaned the specter of the “far right,” as various right-leaning parties look set to improve on their 2019 performance and narrow the federalists’ parliamentary majority.

An AP News report proclaimed, “Far-right parties…are threatening the democratic values that underpin European unity and the EU itself.” A recent Reuters article claimed, “Many [far-right] parties are heavy users of social media, which mainstream groups warn will bombard EU voters with lies.”

These narratives suggest that the right isn’t just blameworthy for winning votes; it deserves contempt for participating in the process at all. A report in bne IntelliNews (a media outlet that contracts with the U.S. federal government) laments, “Central Europe’s populists now want to spread their model to the rest of the EU, and believe that the European Parliamentary elections in June will be a decisive step towards that goal.” Ostensibly piqued by democratic coalition-building, a writer from EUobserver (funded by, among others, the left-wing Tides Foundation and EU NGO-donor Adessium Foundation) warned, “Orbán-backed think-tank courts farmers linked to far-right ahead of elections.”

Anne Applebaum—whom another writer for The American Conservative labeled a “prominent spokeswoman of the neoliberal order”—once invited the political participation that now so offends her milieu. Writing in 2020, at a different moment in European politics, she scoffed, “At no point did the Brexiteers seek to achieve their goal without a referendum vote.” The assertion that the EU apparatus might be reformed is a dubious one. What isn’t dubious is the United Kingdom’s newfound ability to enact legislation like the Rwanda asylum plan, a measure that would have been unthinkable under the watchful eye of Brussels.

The threat of deportation is driving UK-based illegal migrants and failed asylum seekers to Ireland, which was already grappling with migrant crime and housing crises and the Irish people’s newfound willingness to dissent over such matters. Thousands marched in Dublin on May 6 to protest the country’s immigration policies; rather than acknowledge the citizenry’s frustrations, establishment voices have continued belittling them. Among the recent developments on the protesters’ minds was the court case of a young migrant who followed a woman into a Dublin bar bathroom, sexually assaulted her, and maintained consent because he said “Please.” The man claims to be from Somalia but lacks documentation and was previously denied asylum in four other EU countries. Precedent suggests his sentence will be light and deportation unlikely. This story is all too common, predictable, and indicative of a broken European system, one Brussels is unwilling to address.

By contrast, EU bureaucrats are eager to bolster friends and allies. On May 6, von der Leyen announced the European Commission would close Article 7 proceedings (which allow the EU to take punitive actions against member states) against Poland. “I congratulated PM Donald Tusk and his government on this important breakthrough,” she noted. Tusk’s government has not passed any meaningful legislation or reforms, but it has committed misdeeds that would be labeled rule-of-law breaches under any normal circumstances. This includes the seizure of the public television headquarters, arrest of political opponents, and harsh anti-protest measures. Recently, the government has refused to acknowledge President Andrzej Duda’s constitutional right to approve Poland’s European Commission nomination. Applebaum’s husband and noted warhawk Radosław Sikorski looks likely to be that body’s new Commissioner for Defense.

Elected leaders often lack this institutional support. Five months after winning parliamentary elections, Dutch populist Geert Wilders is still trying to form a government. “Wilders [and] other extremist forces…want to destroy Europe,” asserted von der Leyen. Some Dutch political figures are advocating for longtime EU commissioner Frans Timmermans, whose Green-Labor coalition finished second, to form a government in defiance of the voters’ will. It’s a delicate game, as polls suggest Wilders would win by an even larger margin in a revote.

In Slovakia, which endured nearly a year without an elected government, voters delivered populist Robert Fico his fourth stint as prime minister, in an unequivocal rejection of establishment rule. Faced with a chance to check Fico’s power, Slovak voters instead chose the generally pro-government Peter Pellegrini over a pro-Brussels contender in last month’s presidential contest. Predictably, the EU bureaucracy has grown disenchanted with the country’s democratic process. The European Commission has threatened Bratislava with sanctions resembling those levied against Hungary and Poland.

In Brussels itself, last month’s disruption of the National Conservatism conference was a brazen assault on speech rights. (This author has attended NatCon Brussels and can confirm it is a distinctly unthreatening, wonkish affair.) Brussels police mustered resources to stifle the conference despite the city’s spiraling violent crime and ethnic gang warfare. In Michel Houellebecq’s Submission, the narrator muses, “In Brussels, more than in any other European capital, you felt on the edge of civil war.” The authorities presumably would rather harass political opponents than confront this reality.

The real-life Houellebecq opined that his native “France is an independent country, more or less, and will become so again as soon as the European construction is dissolved (the sooner the better).” In the meantime, the populist right is playing by the EU leviathan’s rules. Rest assured it won’t be afforded an even playing field—or even bare civility.

Joe Biden Doesn’t Act Old Enough

Joe Biden Doesn’t Act Old Enough

Biden’s trend-chasing is more objectionable than his conspicuous senescence.

Credit: Getty Images

Joe Biden is really old.

For conservatives, this is practically an article of faith, and for liberals, it is a reality glumly accepted. Even Biden himself has apparently been informed that he had better start joking about the infirmity he projects daily through his public utterances, affect, and gait. “I know it may not look like it,” he quipped during the State of the Union, “but I’ve been around a while.”

What if Biden’s problem, though, is not that he acts too old, but that he doesn’t act old enough? He may look and sound like a senior citizen, but in his acquiescence to the pieties of the present-day far-left iteration of the Democratic Party, he is hopelessly in tune with his times.

If Biden were an authentic old man, he would crankily denounce the overlap of Easter Sunday with the Transgender Day of Visibility (as he almost did in the dust-up that followed those days’ most unfortunate co-occurrence).

If Biden were an authentic old man, he would stubbornly insist that—his support for abortion notwithstanding—he personally agrees with his church’s position that life begins at conception (as he did in his 2012 vice-presidential debate with Paul Ryan).

And if Biden were an authentic old man, he would unequivocally, unambiguously, and unflinchingly tell the current batch of anti-Israel campus crazies to scram—to get out of his party and off his lawn.

Of course, Biden’s lifelong commitment to liberal nonsense would still make him an unacceptable choice to any serious, self-respecting conservative, but if he was as crusty, curmudgeonly, and contrarian as is sometimes alleged, he might, at least, serve as a bulwark against the worst and wokest views of those around him.

Now, being old does not automatically confer common sense, but it doesn’t hurt. Here, I speak from some personal experience: In one of the oddities of my own biography, I am a Millennial whose parents were members of the Silent Generation.

My father was born in 1937 and my mother was born in 1944—about a month after D-Day. My parents were married in 1966, but did not have their first child until 1983, when I was born. It made for a sometimes-unusual upbringing. My father had gray hair for as long as I can remember—there were a couple of occasions when he was mistaken for my grandfather—and, though they were blessed with good health, I came to worry over them as they grew older. When they were in their 50s and 60s, I was in my teens and 20s. Since they are both now gone, it’s not lost on me that, if I had had younger parents, I might still have parents today.

Yet, on balance, I am grateful for having grown up with parents who were older than those of my contemporaries. To start with, it made their own lives seem enticing and mysterious. Their early years were pieced together by listening to their occasional reminiscences and poring over their scrapbooks, which showed people I loved but, in some sense, hardly knew: photos of my parents living in Colorado Springs, where my father was stationed as an Air Force officer; or of my mother dressed to the nines for her job as a bank teller after they relocated to my father’s native Ohio.

They came from a world that was remote from my own. My father remembered hearing as a boy the theme song of Ohio’s Senator Robert A. Taft during his presidential campaigns of 1948 and 1952, “I’m Looking Over a Four-Leaf Clover”; my mother remembered wanting as a girl to emulate Grace Kelly and Doris Day. On one of their first dates, they went to see The Sound of Music; my mother remembered going to Ohio State football games where everybody got dressed up—instead of unisex athletic wear, the men wore sport jackets, and the women, fur coats.

My parents’ moral codes were formed in the 1950s—and, for the most part, they never left the ’50s. My mother inveighed against the contemporary trend of cohabitation, or, as she put it, “shacking up”; my father was a near-absolutist in his opposition to divorce. Both were just old enough to be utterly alienated from the counterculture. My mother couldn’t stand the hippies and told me she voted for Nixon in 1972; she regarded the legalization of marijuana as a cultural calamity.

Because I grew up in their household, these views were not strange or even novel to me. In fact, I came to share them. By the same token, my parents’ ages—and my comfort level with their times—inoculated me to the passing trends of my own time. Through my mother and father, I knew there had been a world without wokeness, cancel culture, or smartphones. Even my consciousness of my parents’ ages—the anxiety I had about their well-being—was salutary. Time is all the more precious when you are aware that it is limited.

Back to Biden: If the forty-sixth president more fully reflected the instincts and attitudes of a man born in 1942, he might make for an intriguing retro-style candidate—just as Bob Dole did in 1996, when he became the last World War II veteran to aspire to the presidency. Instead, like an old man who pretends to like Taylor Swift rather than his beloved swing music in order to appear hip to his grandkids, Biden assents to the loony radicalism of the moment in order to stay current. I sometimes think that a sizable percentage of the voting public, skeptical of both major party nominees, is just waiting for Biden to go full-on Grumpy Old Men on the far left—but, alas, it doesn’t seem likely to happen. Biden is something worse than an old-timer: He’s a follower.

As for me, I am glad to have had parents who acted their ages. I only wish Joe Biden acted his.

HAARP or Solar Storm? Public Speculates Northern Lights Were “Man-Made” Following Experiment on Earth’s Upper Atmosphere Last May 8-10

The United States and parts of Europe, North America, Australia, and New Zealand witnessed vibrant auroras lighting up the night sky on Friday night.

This rare phenomenon was prompted by an extreme G5 geomagnetic storm, the most intense solar event to impact Earth in nearly two decades.

NOAA issued a storm watch earlier in the week after detecting multiple earth-directed coronal mass ejections (CMEs). These CMEs were anticipated to hit by midday Friday, May 10, 2024, with the possibility of lingering effects until Sunday.

The agency warned of potential “widespread voltage control problems and protective system problems,” noting that “some grid systems may experience complete collapse or blackouts, transformers may experience damage,” and disruptions to radio and satellite navigation were likely.

As awe-inspiring images of the auroras flooded platforms like X, with sightings reported as far south as Texas, an alternative theory gained traction. Some members of the public questioned whether the event was natural or the result of human intervention, specifically pointing to the High-frequency Active Auroral Research Program (HAARP).

When do conspiracy theories become reality?
The following text is from the subscription AI program (Perplexity) that I use for general searches.

HAARP, a research initiative aimed at studying the ionosphere—located roughly 50 to 400 miles above Earth’s surface—is capable of creating artificial auroras.

The program uses high-frequency radio wave transmitters to excite electrons in the ionosphere, mimicking the natural aurora borealis effect just like during a solar storm.

According to University of Alaska Fairbanks website, “HAARP is a scientific endeavor aimed at understanding the properties and behavior of the ionosphere, which forms the boundary between Earth’s lower atmosphere and the vacuum of space.”

Whitham Reeve, a part-time space weather advisor for the High-frequency Active Auroral Research Program (HAARP) and a member of the HAARP Advisory Committee, disclosed that HAARP had been conducting a research campaign from May 8-10 that coincides with a solar storm.

On May 2, Reeve shared an announcement in the Society of Amateur Radio Astronomers’ group on Google, which included a press release from the University of Alaska-Fairbanks and an accompanying graphic.

Reeve posted:

“To: HAARP Community

HAARP will be conducting a research campaign May 8-10, 2024. Attached for your reference are the campaign transmission notice and media image.

The transmission notice includes supplementary information for HAARP Radio Enthusiasts and information about monitoring HAARP transmission with a software defined radio (SDR) receiver.

Good luck listening, and be sure to file reception reports as described in the notice!”

According to the press release:

“The High-frequency Active Auroral Research Program (HAARP) will be conducting a research campaign May 8-10 UTC, with operating times specified in the table below. Operating frequencies will vary, but all HAARP transmissions will be between 2.8 MHz and 10 MHz. Actual transmit days and times are highly variable based on real-time ionospheric and/or geomagnetic conditions. All information is subject to change.

This campaign is being conducted in support of research proposals from the University of Alaska Fairbanks, and is studying mechanisms for the detection of orbiting space debris. Space debris poses a major risk to all space operations, including manned spacecraft and communications satellites. The experiments being performed at HAARP will help identify ways to improve collision detection on satellites. For more information on space debris, see the NASA Orbital Debris Program Office’s FAQ at https://orbitaldebris.jsc.nasa.gov/faq/. For more information on research at HAARP, see the online HAARP FAQ at https://haarp.gi.alaska.edu/faq.”

HAARP has the capability to create artificial auroras, using high-frequency radio waves to stimulate the ionosphere, leading to the production of visible effects akin to the aurora borealis.

Anchorage Daily News reported last year:

Watchers of the night sky along much of Alaska’s road system may catch a colorful splotch of light up high in the air over the weekend. Though it might look like the aurora, the red or greenish “airglow” in the ionosphere is a byproduct of a rare, four-day-long set of experiments at the High-frequency Active Auroral Research Program — or HAARP — in Gakona.

“Each day, the airglow could be visible up to 300 … miles from the HAARP facility,” according to a statement from the Geophysical Institute at the University of Alaska Fairbanks.

By creating an artificial aurora with equipment on the ground, researchers hope to learn more about the natural aurora.

Reuters affiliate, Times News Now, reported, “It is unlikely that a test covered parts of Europe, North America and Australia on the same night. But authorities are yet to respond to these claims.”

The University of Alaska Fairbanks did not immediately respond to The Gateway Pundit’s request for comment on this claim.

“He’s a Fool… He’s a Bad Guy. The Worst President in History… A Total Moron. He’s a Moron” – President Trump Unloads on Crooked Joe Biden at Wildwood Rally (VIDEO)

President Trump unloads on Joe Biden – a total moron. A bad guy.

President Trump is set to deliver remarks to a massive crowd of roughly 80,000 supporters at 5 pm tonight in Wildwood, New Jersey.

Many, including Congressman Jeff Van Drew (R-NJ), are calling this the largest political rally in the history of New Jersey.

Doors to the event opened at noon Eastern. At approximately 2 pm, there were thousands still lined up awaiting entry by midafternoon.

By the time the rally started President Trump announced a total of 100,000 supporters at the Wildwood rally tonight!

During his speech, President Trump took the gloves off to lash out at Crooked Joe Biden, the most corrupt and lawless president in history.

Joe Biden stands alone in organizing prosecutors in his administration to bankrupt President Trump and tie him up in courtrooms for weeks at a time. Joe Biden is lawless.

President Donald Trump: You don’t do that to your opponent. You don’t do that to your political opponent. It’s done in third-world countries. It’s done in Banana Republic. It’s not done in the United States of America…

…That’s when I call him the most grossly incompetent man in government, the worst president ever of any country. The whole world is laughing at him. He’s a fool. He’s not a smart man. He never was. In prime time, he was considered stupid.

I talk about him differently now because now the gloves are off. He’s a bad guy. He should have never done that because it’s so bad for our country. He should have never done it. But again, I’ll say it for the second time, he’s by far the worst president in the history of our country. You could take… I used to say five, now I say 10, right? I used to say, I think I’m going to make it 15. You could take the 10 worst presidents in the history of our country, add them up. The worst presidents, take them. Give me the 10 worst names. They haven’t done the damage to our country that this total moron has done, okay? He’s a moron.

WHAT COULD GO WRONG? San Francisco Using Tax Dollars to Buy Vodka and Beer for Homeless Alcoholics

The city of San Francisco is using tax dollars to buy vodka and beer for homeless alcoholics. Who thought this was a good idea?

Aside from the issue of using tax dollars to do this, how is this good for the homeless alcoholics? Shouldn’t the goal be to get these people off the street and into treatment?

How are these people helped by the city feeding their addiction?

Breitbart News reports:

‘Where’s the Recovery in All This?’: SF Buying Beer, Vodka for Homeless Alcoholics with Taxpayer Money

Homeless alcoholics are getting free beer and vodka under a taxpayer-funded pilot program in San Francisco as city leadership grapples with the homelessness crisis plaguing its streets.

The city’s Department of Public Health runs the Managed Alcohol Program (MAP) to give doses of alcohol to the addicted, Fox News reported on Saturday.

Officials hope the program will “keep the homeless off the streets” and decrease incidents in which emergency services have to step in.

“Experts say the program can save or extend lives, but critics wonder if the government would be better off funding treatment and sobriety programs instead,” Fox noted.

Here’s more from the FOX News report:

The “Managed Alcohol Program” operated by San Francisco’s Department of Public Health serves regimented doses of alcohol to voluntary participants with alcohol addiction in an effort to keep the homeless off the streets and relieve the city’s emergency services. Experts say the program can save or extend lives, but critics wonder if the government would be better off funding treatment and sobriety programs instead.

“Established in countries such as Canada and Australia, a managed alcohol program is usually administered by a nurse and trained support staff in a facility such as a homeless shelter or a transitional or permanent home, and is one method to minimize harm for those with alcohol use disorder,” the California Health Care Foundation explains in an 2020 article describing the pilot program.

How bad does life in San Francisco have to get for voters there to reject progressive policies?

Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas Slams Washington, DC: ‘It is a Hideous Place as Far as I’m Concerned’

Conservative Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas slammed life in Washington, DC while attending a recent judicial conference.

He described DC as a ‘hideous place’ and explained that this is part of the reason that he and his wife like to go on RV trips.

It’s hardly surprising that Thomas feels this way when you consider what he has been put through over the years by Democrats and the beltway media.

RedState reported:

Clarence Thomas Unleashed: Calls DC a ‘Hideous Place’ Where ‘People Pride Themselves in Being Awful’

Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas is often viewed as a cipher, considering that for years he sat silent on the bench and for a decade didn’t ask a single question during proceedings. He’s been more vocal in recent times, however, and on Friday at a conference of the US Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit in Point Clear, Alabama, he was anything but quiet.

Political operatives in the nation’s capital are simply “awful,” he told the audience:

Thomas… described Washington as a place where “people pride themselves in being awful.”

“It is a hideous place as far as I’m concerned,” Thomas said.

“It’s one of the reasons we like RVing,” he added. “You get to be around regular people who don’t pride themselves in doing harmful things merely because they have the capacity to do it or because they disagree.”

Thomas should know—he was at the center of the Anita Hill fiasco—overseen by then-Senate Judiciary Committee chairman Joe Biden—where he was subjected to evidence-free, humiliating claims of sexual harassment during his SCOTUS confirmation hearings in 1991.

This classic clip helps to explain why the left has been so nasty to Thomas over the years. He does not change his views with the winds of public opinion. He believes right is right no matter what.

Justice Clarence Thomas:

North is still north!

Right is still right!

Truth is still truth!

Nothing can stop what’s coming…

New Jersey Voters Say Trump Can Flip the State Red in 2024: ‘There’s Momentum’ (VIDEO)

Trump has made it clear that he is making a major play for the state of New Jersey in 2024 and he is smart to do so.

One need look no further than the massive turnout for his rally in Wildwood this weekend.

FOX News recently spoke to a few voters from the state about this and they all agreed that Trump can flip New Jersey red this fall.

From FOX News:

NJ voters say Trump could flip state red despite legal woes: ‘There’s momentum’

A panel of N.J. voters joined “Fox & Friends First” to discuss why they believe the former president has a shot to secure those electoral votes in November as he campaigns in between his various legal appearances.

“It’s not having a negative impact, so if anything, it’s going in the opposite [direction] because they can’t believe that this is happening to a civilized nation,” resident Roy Paret told co-host Todd Piro on Friday. “What’s happening with their trial is really what you would think would happen either in communism or a Third World country, so this, I say, is definitely helping.”

“When he has free time, of course he has to stay local. He went to the bodegas in Harlem. He’s doing things in New York, and 100% this will help him, I feel, in multiple states, and it’s showing already,” he continued. “And New Jersey, I agree, will turn red this time around as long as they can follow up on voter integrity [and] check out voter IDs. I feel New Jersey will be switching just like many other states out there.”

Don’t forget, in 2021 Republican Jack Ciattarelli came extremely close to winning the governor race in New Jersey. The election was closer than anyone expected it to be. That spirit is still out there.

‘STORM FROM THE NORTH’: Russian Forces Open New Front in Northern Kharkov, Take a Dozens Villages In a Day (VIDEOS)

And so it begins: the ‘Storm from the North’. The long-awaited new front in northern Kharkov Oblast.

Group of the Russian Armed Forces ‘North’, that has been talked about for a long time, is now a reality, has advanced crossing into Ukraine and, on the first day Russian forces have already seized Zelene, Ohirtseve, Hatyshche, Pletenivka, Strilecha, Krasne, Pylna, and Borysivka.

I will try to relay a sense of what’s happening with the invaluable help of the coverage of Telegram channels, notably Sputnik, Slavyangrad, Intel Slava Z and Bellum Acta.

Russian Federation forces have penetrated the defenses of the Ukrainian Armed Forces from 3 to 5 km in Kharkov region, with a control zone in the border area to 110 square kilometers.

This will have a rippla effect in all the 600-mile-long frontline. As soon as Ukrainian top General Syrsky begins to transfer units to the northern regions of Kharkov and Sumy, the front in Donetsk will fold, and Chasov Yar, Kurakhovo and Krasnoarmeysk are expected to instantly collapse.

Watch: ‘North’ group is targeting enemy equipment in the border area.

— Paul Serran (@paul_serran) May 11, 2024

Ukrainian Armed Forces in fact have withdrawn some of the units of the 42nd Mechanized Infantry Brigade from the front near Chasov Yar and are hastily transferring troops north.

Areas with Ukrainian defensive forces targeted by artillery and air force strikes.

The sites of attacks on the locations of the Ukrainian Armed Forces are gradually increasing in number and in depth. If the pace of strikes continues, most of the fortified areas of the Ukrainian Armed Forces will soon cease to exist.

Watch: In the area of Stary Saltov, Russian military group ‘North’ destroys a dam across the Seversky Donets River.

They are transferring personnel and equipment, but it’s not a massive movement.

Although they ‘know’ about the Kharkov attack, they also fear that it is a ‘ruse’ to drain defenses from Donetsk. They don’t know at all where the ‘main attack’ will be delivered.

Significant number of forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces were captured.

Russian troops are achieving ‘tactically significant successes’, writes the American Institute for the Study of War.

“This operation most likely ‘has limited operational goals, but is designed to achieve a strategic effect in diverting Ukrainian manpower and equipment from other critical sectors of the front.

[…] The purpose of these operations, according to the organization, is to push Ukrainian forces back from the border with the Belgorod region and advance to Kharkov within range of cannon artillery – that is, closer than 25 kilometers. Now Russian troops are located 30 kilometers from Kharkov.

It is highly likely that Russian forces have reserves ready to commit to intensifying offensive operations north of Kharkov in the coming days.

“Indirect artillery fire, combined with ongoing glide bombing and missile strikes, will most likely be aimed at creating the conditions for a larger offensive on Kharkov at a later time.”

During the assault operations, units of the ‘North’ Group took 42 military personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as prisoners, and the number of killed Ukrainian Armed Forces militants already exceeds 150 people.

Ukrainian troops have started to retreat in the Kharkov region under pressure.

There is now, reportedly, a ‘slight panic’ in Kharkov city. There are problems with electricity and communications, but not many people are leaving the city. It may be because they not have the means to move.

It now seems that the command of the Ukrainian Armed Forces has begun the transfer of units – not from eastern Donetsk, but from southern Kherson – to Kharkov.

Russian losses have been minimal, the ‘Storm of the North’ in unleashed after Lancet kamikaze drones, FPV drone surveillance, artillery, tanks and air force are all ‘paving the way’ for them, obliterating enemy fortifications and his armored vehicles.

Russian sources say that Zelensky turned the Ukrainian brigades for ‘the new counter-offensive’, and turned them into brigades of the defense of Kiev.

Commander in Chief General Oleksandr Syrsky is dissatisfied and against it. He needs troop reserves for Chasov Yar and Krasnoarmeysk, for Kharkov and Kupyansk.

Kharkov residents have finally realized that Russian troops are rapidly advancing in the Kharkov region, so the head of the Kharkov regional administration, Oleg Sinegubov, was forced to make an official statement saying that ‘there are currently no grounds for evacuation from Kharkov’.

Do they needed people as a ‘human shield’?
