A far left terrorist organization torched 15 police cars in Portland, Oregon last week.

Fifteen police vehicles were torched at the Police training facility near the Portland Airport last week.

The case was being investigated as arson.

1-No symbolic victories. Do not accept speeches and committees and apology emails. The two demands: Divest! Amnesty for all!

3-Do not let them demobilize you! Do not let the parties (fuck the Communist pieces of shit), the student government or the admin tell you its over. Its not! Keep the threat of your return present, especially if the admin refuses to meet demands.
4-FIGHT! Defend your camps! If the frat bros come, smash their frat house windows! If the Zionist settlers come, throw fireworks at them! If the cops come don’t just resist arrest, fight them! They will hate you and beat you if you’re peaceful or violent, and it is time to be violent.
5-Out of the quads, out of the buildings, into the streets! As the semester ends this is not over. Fight during the summer. When next year starts fight then too!

For the record, Rachel Corrie was a pro-Hamas protester who was killed by an Israeli bulldozer in Rafah, Gaza in 2003.

Corrie, 23, from Olympia, Washington, was trying to stop the bulldozer from tearing down a building in the Rafah refugee camp when she was run over. She was taken to Najar hospital in Rafah, where she died, said Dr. Ali Moussa, a hospital administrator.

Corrie was standing in a trench where she could not be seen, protecting an entrance to a weapons tunnel.

GW president says school needs help from DC police as protesters call for beheadings

The president of George Washington University said late Sunday night her school needs the help of local police to restore law and order as anti-Israel encampment activities continue.

GW President Ellen Granberg’s released a statement Sunday denouncing the encampment degeneration over the weekend. Granberg also said the school cannot restore order without the help of Washington’s Metropolitan Police Department (MPD).

“The demonstration, like many around the country, has grown into what can only be classified as an illegal and potentially dangerous occupation of GW property,” Gransberg said. “It is also essential to highlight that at no point was this encampment lawful.”…

Social media video surfaced over the weekend of an encampment activity called “People’s Tribunal” where GW protesters acted out sentencing senior university officials to death.

This mock court was held for GWU’s board of trustees and for the school’s president, shouting for these individuals to be beheaded.

“To the guillotine,” protesters said.

A team of Chinese researchers has created a mutant strain of the Ebola virus that bypasses higher biosafety regulations, leading to the death of a test group of hamsters, as reported by the Daily Mail.

The study, recently published in Virologica Sinica, aimed to establish a surrogate model for human Ebola virus disease that could be handled in lower Biosafety Level 2 (BSL-2) facilities, typically less stringent than the Biosafety Level 4 (BSL-4) required for handling wild-type Ebola. This less restrictive environment is intended to facilitate easier and more frequent research, including vaccine development.

In this experiment led by Wanying Yang and colleagues from the Changchun Veterinary Research Institute of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, a recombinant vesicular stomatitis virus was engineered to express the glycoprotein of the Ebola virus.

This engineered virus, named VSV-EBOV/GP, was then used to infect Syrian hamsters, creating a model of lethal Ebola virus disease (EVD) under biosafety level 2 (BSL-2) conditions.

The scientists injected a common livestock ailment with the Ebola protein responsible for cell infection and spread in humans, which led to the hamsters developing severe disease symptoms akin to those observed in human Ebola patients.

Severe Symptoms and Deaths in Lab Hamsters

The experiment involved ten hamsters, five males and five females, all three weeks old. The female hamsters exhibited severe symptoms, including decreased body temperature and significant weight loss, leading to their death within two to three days. The males also showed weight loss and succumbed by three and a half days, though two males survived, eventually gaining weight.

Post-mortem analysis revealed that the virus had accumulated in various organs, with the highest levels in the liver and the lowest in the brain. The infected hamsters developed severe symptoms akin to human Ebola virus disease, including:

Rapid Weight Loss: Hamsters lost up to 15% of their body weight within two days post-infection.
Multi-Organ Failure: Pathological changes were observed in multiple organs, especially the liver, spleen, lungs, and kidneys.
High Viral Loads: Viral loads in the liver were as high as 108.2 TCID50 per gram of tissue, suggesting significant hepatophilic behavior.
Severe Uveitis: Eye infections led to impaired vision and exudate formation, a condition resembling uveitis observed in human Ebola survivors.

The experiment has drawn widespread due to ethical and safety concerns and the potential fears of another lab leak scenario:

Gain-of-Function Research: The creation of a mutant Ebola virus falls under gain-of-function research, which has historically been contentious due to the potential for accidental release or misuse.
Lack of BSL-4 Facilities: Ebola virus typically requires handling in biosafety level 4 (BSL-4) laboratories. Conducting similar research under BSL-2 conditions, as done in this study, raises questions about biosafety protocols.

The research team defended their work, citing the urgency of developing rapid preclinical models for testing Ebola vaccines and therapeutics. According to lead author Wanying Yang:

“This surrogate model represents a safe, effective, and economical tool for rapid preclinical evaluation of medical countermeasures against Ebola virus disease under BSL-2 conditions, which would accelerate technological advances and breakthroughs in confronting Ebola virus disease.”

A brave female darts player decided to forfeit her chance at glory and money in the name of fair play in sports.

As Reduxx reported, British darts star Deta Hedman refused to play against the Netherlands’s Noa-Lynn Van Leuven during Saturday’s Denmark Open quarter-final in Esbjerg. As a result, Van Leuven received a free pass to the semi-finals.

“I’m not playing against a man in a women’s event,” Hedman told German newspaper Bild.

As the Daily Mail notes, the 64-year-old Hedman is one of the most prominent figures in the women’s darts scene. She is a three-time World Darts Federation (WDF) World Champion runner-up and has been a presence in women’s darts since the 1980s.

Reduxx notes Hedman also has been outspoken on the issue of keeping sports single-sex for several years. In 2023, Hedman named Van Leuven in a statement she wrote on the issue for Darts World.

For many months, I’ve struggled with transgenders playing in the women’s world-ranked events. I have thought this is wrong since day one.

I’m not close to Noa-Lynn in darts but in fairness seems a lovely person, at Lakeside I met Victoria Monaghan and must admit she is a right character we had banter and a fair few laughs, but my personal view is trans shouldn’t be playing in women’s ranked events.

Just a few days before her match against Van Leuven, Hedman also posted a message on her Facebook page denouncing biological men in female sports.

“Women & girls deserve to be CHAMPIONS in their own sports,” the message reads

Former champion collegiate swimmer Riley Gaines praised Hedman’s courage and offered to refund her any prize money she missed out on by bravely forfeiting her match. Hedman thanked her, but said she had already been paid out in full fro the event by Denmark Darts.

Phil Barrs, a far-left sports presenter for Online Darts, claimed on Friday that Hedman had initially told organizers she was sick but this turned out to be fake news.

She pushed back on X, writing, “No fake illness, I said I wouldn’t play a man in a lady’s event.”

Biden called illegal aliens “model citizens” in his brief remarks to the attendees.

Biden absurdly claimed he has always been “fundamentally focused on Latinos.”

Joe Biden then praised DACA illegal aliens as “model citizens.”

Joe Biden is considering granting amnesty to millions of illegal aliens who have lived in the US for over 10 years or have citizen relatives who would “suffer” if they were deported.

According to Politico, similar to Obama’s DACA program, Biden is deciding whether to give the massive group of illegals green cards.

The Democrats are losing the black and Latino voters so they are fiercely working to lock in a new voting bloc.

“Like the Obama administration did in 2012 with the launch of the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program, Biden administration officials are also examining whether there’s an action they could take for a different group of undocumented people who have long resided in the United States, according to the three people familiar with the administration’s planning. One idea that has been floated among administration officials is opening access to the cancellation of removal program for people who have lived in the U.S. for over 10 years and have citizen or resident relatives who would “suffer” if they were deported. If specific requirements are met and an immigration judge approves cancellation of removal, a migrant is able to obtain a green card.” – Politico reported.

The Biden Regime is also looking to fund the influx of illegals who have invaded the US over the last 3 years.

“Administration officials are also discussing ways they can further support state and local officials managing the influx of new arrivals, as Republican governors are expected to continue busing migrants to Democratic-led cities this year.” Politico reported.

Approximately 11 million illegal aliens – mainly military-age males – have invaded the US under Joe Biden’s watch.

Could there actually be a ceasefire in the Gaza war?

In a statement Monday, Hamas announced it had accepted a ceasefire deal brokered by Egypt and Qatar. Ismail Haniyeh, the chief of Hamas’s political outfit, informed the Egyptians and Qataris that the terms were amenable, per the statement. The precise terms, and how those terms ought to be interpreted, however, remain undisclosed and perhaps even undefined.

Last week, a ceasefire predominantly crafted by Israel and mediators would release between 20–33 hostages held by Hamas over six to eight weeks in exchange for a ceasefire and the freeing of a large number of Palestinians detained by the Israeli government. Hostages in exchange for a ceasefire and detainees has generally been the formula of each of the failed ceasefire agreements until this point in the war. But both sides have made demands in the negotiating process that undercut the potential for any deal. Hamas has demanded a permanent ceasefire, and Israel wouldn’t commit fully to supporting even their own ceasefire proposal.

It appears that Hamas has mostly kept the structure of previous ceasefire agreements intact. The ceasefire would ensue over three stages in which hostages and detainees would be exchanged. Meeting these hostage exchange obligations would prolong the ceasefire and enable the return of more hostages.

What remains to be seen, however, is the extent to which Hamas has made substantial changes. Furthermore, while some changes that have been made publicly available seem minor, they are presenting difficulties in how the two sides might interpret the provisions in question. For example, one provision in the second stage of the agreement, according to the Washington Post, is for the return of “sustained calm” to Gaza. While Hamas takes this language as a substitute to permanent ceasefire, Israel has repeatedly rejected the notion that is the case. Currently, the deal does not define what “sustained calm” entails, and the Israelis are looking to add clarity to that provision as it considers its response. So far, the only commitment Israel has made is to send more negotiators to clarify the contents of the ceasefire agreement.

The question remains whether Israel genuinely wants a ceasefire at this point. Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office has announced that while Israel considers how to respond to the Hamas agreement, Israel’s war cabinet has “unanimously decided” to continue operation in Rafah. Salama Marouf, a spokesperson for the Hamas-run Gaza government office, released a statement claiming that Israel “went into truce negotiations deceptively without abandoning the idea of ​​a broad aggression against Rafah.”

Israel’s Rafah invasion has intensified over the last 48 hours. In the morning hours on Monday, the Israeli military dropped leaflets in eastern Rafah telling residents to evacuate temporarily to a humanitarian zone in central Gaza between Khan Younis and Gaza City. Shortly thereafter, Israel began a sustained bombing campaign on Rafah. The Israeli military claimed it was “conducting targeted strikes against Hamas terror targets in eastern Rafah,” and has thus far not called for a “wide-scale evacuation of Rafah.” 

“This is a very specific scoped operation at the moment to move people out of harm’s way,” Israeli military spokesperson Lt. Col. Nadav Shoshani claimed.

And Israel is not alone in continuing hostilities while a ceasefire agreement is within reach. Hamas’s agreement to a ceasefire was a surprise; the terror group has continued rocket strikes against Israeli targets. On Sunday, a Hamas rocket attack launched from Rafah killed four Israeli soldiers near the Kerem Shalom border crossing.

President Joe Biden has repeatedly told Netanyahu to not invade Rafah and that doing so could jeopardize America’s support in the Gaza war. According to the White House, Biden and Netanyahu spoke over the phone about the ceasefire agreement and operations in Rafah in which the president “reiterated his clear position on Rafah.”

Matthew Miller, a State Department spokesman, told the press that U.S. officials received confirmation that Hamas had accepted a ceasefire agreement and officials have now been given the chance to “review it, digest it, discuss it with our partners.”

“I don’t want to characterize the nature of that response just yet,” Miller added.

During a Monday press conference, National Security Council spokesman John Kirby said, “[CIA Director William J. Burns], as you know, is there, and he’s working this in real time on the ground.”

“We want to get these hostages out. We want to get a cease-fire in place for six weeks. We want to increase humanitarian assistance,” he continued. “And the last thing that I want to do is say anything at this podium that’s going to put that process at risk.”

Two new COVID-19 variants, collectively known as “FLiRT,” have been detected and are reportedly spreading across the United States.

The FLiRT variants are sub-lineages of the Omicron variant, named for the mutations they bear.

The Infectious Disease Society of America states that the nickname ‘FLiRT’ is derived from the technical names of the variants’ mutations. The World Health Organization (WHO) has reclassified it as a variant of interest and recommended close monitoring.

According to Mass Live, citing the latest data from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the KP.2 variant is currently the dominant strain, accounting for about 25% of all infections nationwide.

Another FLiRT variant, KP.1.1, is also circulating in the US but is less widespread, making up around 7.5% of infections.

So-called experts are now claiming that individuals without the updated COVID-19 vaccines are likely to become infected.

In recent weeks, COVID-19 forecasters have reported on a new set of variants picked up in wastewater surveillance. Nicknamed FLiRT, they’re threatening to cause a new wave of COVID infections, which recently bottomed out after spiking in December.

Models released last week from Jay Weiland, a data scientist who has accurately predicted COVID waves since the beginning of the pandemic, warns that a surge is on the horizon. “He’s someone who many experts like myself follow because he’s been pretty accurate so far,” said Megan L. Ranney, MD, dean of the Yale School of Public Health.

What’s more, said Ranney, FLiRT also has some concerning features, like changes in the spike protein, which play a role in helping SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19, take hold, colonize the body, and make people sick.

On Saturday, trans athlete Sadie (Camden) Schreiner won the D3 college track meet in the women’s division for Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT).

The biological male won both the 200-meter and the 400-meter and, in the process, shattered school records.

If he had competed in the men’s races that day, he would’ve placed near the bottom.

Riley Gaines mentioned a lawsuit that has been filed on behalf of multiple NCAA women athletes against the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) over their decision to allow “transgender” athletes to compete against them and use locker rooms for women.

The lawsuit was filed by the Independent Council on Women’s Sports (ICONS) on behalf of over a dozen female athletes. It alleges that the NCAA violated Title IX, a federal statute that guarantees equal opportunity for men and women in college sports.

It seeks to prohibit biological males from competing against female athletes.  Further, it demands the NCAA revoke awards received by “transgender” athletes who competed against women in tournaments that were governed by the organization.

Not to weigh in on another controversial topic, but here goes:
