Revolutionizing the Fast Food Industry: The Rise and Fall of Burger King in America

As the iconic American burger joint, Burger King has long been a staple in the fast food industry. However, recent news of multiple franchise closures across the country has sparked concern and curiosity among consumers. How did a once thriving brand fall from grace? Let’s delve deeper into the rise and fall of Burger King in America.

At its peak, Burger King had over 13,000 restaurants in the United States. Its signature flame-grilled burgers and famous slogan, “Have it your way,” were a hit with customers. But as competition grew and consumer tastes evolved, the brand struggled to keep up. This led to a downward spiral that ultimately led to the closure of over 200 stores in the past year alone.

— Black Millionaires ® (@Blackmillions_) May 7, 2023

The decline of Burger King can be attributed to a combination of factors. One of the main issues was the brand’s lack of innovation. While competitors like McDonald’s and Wendy’s constantly introduced new menu items, Burger King stuck to their tried and tested offerings. This resulted in a stagnant menu and a lack of excitement for customers.

Another major factor was the rise of healthier eating trends. As more and more people became health-conscious, the high-calorie, greasy options at Burger King were no longer as appealing. The brand’s attempts to introduce healthier options like salads and grilled chicken sandwiches fell short in comparison to other fast food chains’ healthier offerings.

Additionally, Burger King’s franchise system proved to be problematic. Franchise owners had to pay high fees and adhere to strict standards set by the corporation. This led to tension and disputes, with some owners opting to shut down their restaurants rather than continue to operate under such conditions.

Despite these challenges, Burger King remains determined to turn things around. In a statement, the company announced plans to revamp its menu, improve its customer service, and focus on expanding internationally. They also plan to implement a new marketing strategy to regain their foothold in the market.

However, many remain skeptical about the brand’s chances of making a comeback. With the COVID-19 pandemic wreaking havoc on the fast food industry, Burger King’s road to recovery may be even more challenging. Other issues such as controversies surrounding their treatment of workers and sustainability practices also add to the brand’s struggles.

In conclusion, the decline of Burger King in America serves as a cautionary tale for other fast food giants. It highlights the importance of adaptability and staying ahead of changing consumer trends. Only time will tell if the brand can successfully reinvent itself and reclaim its position as a leader in the fast food industry.

Alvin Bragg Loses CNN: Former Federal Prosecutor Blasts Trump Show Trial over Cohen’s Lies that “Cut at the Heart of the Evidence” (VIDEO)

Alvin Bragg loses CNN following devastating day for the prosecution in Trump’s latest ‘hush monsy’ show trial.

Monday was a rought day for Alvin Bragg, Joe Biden, Merrick Garland, Judge Juan Merchan, and their lackeys in the utterly corrupt legacy media.

The latest lawfare trial against President Trump by the thugs in New York City quickly morphed into a dumpster fire that was so humiliating for the Trump-hating demons that Judge Merchan started screaming in court and called for a break and then went and hid in the back room.

The Gateway Pundit contributor Paul Ingrassia was live-tweeting from the show trial as the prosecution’s case melted away.

Paul Ingrassia:  Maybe the most explosive exchange of the day. Bragg’s case unfolded before everyone’s eyes. Laurence O’Donnell ran out of the courtroom in a mad-dash. NY Times reporters, visibly jaded, were holding back tears.

Judge Merchan threw a temper tantrum on the bench. One can easily picture, after today, Letitia James picking up the phone and screaming at Bragg at the top of her lungs based on how damning the developments out of the courtroom were today: “HOW COULD YOU POSSIBLY LET THIS HAPPEN?”

The disaster was led by none other than Michael Cohen, the People’s “star witness,” admitting to having stolen $60,000 from the Trump Organization, lying to Congress while under Oath, profiting off the Trump Show Trial, and totally fabricating his claims that Trump knew about the hush money payments, which was debunked by respected attorney Robert Costello in his blistering testimony.

After today, this case should be dismissed! President Trump and his legal team should feel triumphant. No sane jury would ever in a million years rule in Bragg’s favor.

It was such a bad day for Alvin Bragg that the New York demons even lost CNN.

Former federal prosecutor Alyse Adamson was baffled by the prosecution’s incompetence.

Alyse Adamson: I am, quite frankly, shocked by what I have just heard. I can tell you, having worked at DOJ for seven and a half years, you go through training your first week on the job. And day two, it’s how to handle witnesses and fronting bad facts. And I was listening when we read back the transcript on how the prosecution handled these payments, and it’s like they glossed over the fact that this could be considered stealing. And, in my mind, I can’t figure out why they did that because they were so meticulous in explaining all of Michael Cohen’s other lies in contextualizing this. This is a lie that cuts at the heart of the evidence.

VIDEO: Texas Woman Shoots Up McDonald’s Over Missing Hash Browns and Biscuits

A Texas woman fired at least eight gunshots through a McDonald’s drive-thru window in San Antonio after the workers allegedly forgot to give her hash browns and biscuits.

The incident occurred in December, but the arrest warrant affidavit was made public this week.

Samantha Anthony, 32, has been charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, a second-degree felony.

Local station KSAT reports:

According to an arrest warrant affidavit, on Dec. 30, 2023, Anthony had driven to a McDonald’s restaurant in the 1330 block of South Laredo Street, just south of downtown, when she began complaining about her order to the drive-through cashier.

The affidavit states that Anthony then fired multiple gunshots from the drive-side car window into the second drive-thru window. At least eight gunshots were fired into the window, with employees working and the business open, police said.

The employees took cover behind walls and equipment. No one was injured.

According to a report from The Blaze, the suspect had picked up her order and drove away. She returned 30 minutes later, covered in empty food wrappers, and claimed that she had not been given her full order — specifically, biscuits and hashbrowns.

A manager checked the camera and saw that she had been given her food.

The Blaze reports:

“She was hopping from the first drive-thru window to the second window, banging, talking, yelling,” an employee recalled. She said the woman challenged them to come out and fight her.

Then the shots rang out.

“I heard the first shot, I kind of like had a late reaction,” said the employee. “Whenever the other shot started ringing out, that’s when all of us in the front started ducking and sliding.”

The employee said she had a panic attack over the shooting and was crying and scared.

Anthony fled the scene, but her image and vehicle were caught on surveillance camera footage.

The hungry shooter is currently being held on $75,000 bond.

White House Refuses to Confirm or Deny If Biden Plans to Use Drugs to Enhance Performance in Debates

The White House has refused to confirm or deny whether or not Joe Biden plans to use drugs to enhance his debate performance.

Former President Donald Trump has repeatedly called for Biden to be drug tested before each debate, claiming that he was “high” during the State of the Union.

“I am going to demand a drug test, I really am. I don’t want him coming in like the State of the Union,” Trump said during a speech in Minnesota on Friday. “He was high as a kite. I said, ‘Is that Joe up there, that beautiful room? And by the end of the evening, he’s like” — Trump made a guttural sound — “He was exhausted, right? No, we’re going to demand a drug test.”

We don’t deserve him

— Benny Johnson (@bennyjohnson) May 18, 2024

“He can’t talk, he can’t walk, can’t find his way off a stage. Can’t put two sentences together,” Trump continued. “Although he has agreed to debate, so I don’t know, maybe they know something. He’s going to be so jacked up for those debates, you watch.”

Politico asked the White House about whether or not Biden intends to use drugs as part of his debate prep.

Politico reports:

We quipped over the weekend that we had reached out to President JOE BIDEN’s orbit about whether the president planned to use any illegal drugs to get ready for his upcoming debates, as Trump farcially alleged he might. We thought it was an obvious joke but not everyone on the Biden campaign got it.

In any event, the White House’s ANDREW BATES sent over this response to close the loop on our query: “It’s telling that Republican officials are unable to stop announcing how intimidated they remain by [the] President’s State of the Union performance. But after losing every public and private negotiation with President Biden — and after seeing him succeed where they failed across the board, ranging from actually rebuilding America’s infrastructure to actually reducing violent crime to actually outcompeting China — it tracks that those same Republican officials mistake confidence for a drug.”

Model Amber Rose Endorses Trump – Sends Leftists into Total Meltdown: ‘Ya’ll think Biden cares about black ppl… Stop being Brainwashed’

As the Deep State precipitously implements the Biden administration’s fascistic agenda, more and more Democrats are waking up.

It’s increasingly clear to traditional Democrat voters that the United States is hanging on by a string if we don’t get Trump back in office.

Even celebrities in the “Illuminati”– ridden entertainment industry are starting to see the light.

Trump just picked up another unexpected celebrity endorsement as Americans on both sides of the political aisle abandon support for the satanic globalist cabal.

Model Amber Rose posted a photograph standing alongside Trump and Melania at a black tie event on Instagram Monday.

“Trump 2024 USUS,” she wrote in support of Trump’s campaign in the message to her 24 million IG followers.

Rose, wife of rapper Wiz Khalifa, urged detractors to reevaluate their loyal support of the Democrat Party.

“Lmaooo yall think Biden cares about black ppl??? Sad. Do ur research. I did,” she wrote. “I’ll ALWAYS put women first.”

The model slammed the left’s stance on reproductive rights and transgender athletes competing against females.

“Y’all want biological men in women’s sports,” Rose continued. “Trump supports the most reasonable compromise on abortion. Stop being brainwashed cuz WE’RE ppl people of color. Make your own decisions.”

Most forms of popular culture become nothing more than commercials for the Democrat party.

Movies, television, and music focus more on influencing the next election than entertainment.

Artists, writers, and musicians subordinate their craft to present an endless Democrat commercial.

So, of course, Rose’s endorsement of Trump is sparking backlash.

As TMZ reports:

It didn’t take long for Amber’s followers to sound off in the comments… with many calling out how Trump’s political stances directly contradict her own beliefs — at least ones she’s been open about anyway.

One fan responded … ‘He’s against LGBTQ+ community & supports State’s rights to choose women’s reproductive health. What??????’

A second follower weighed in … ‘Lol I better never see you speak on women’s rights again!! ” A third wrote, “He’s against everything I thought YOU believed in?! LGBTQA Women’s rights! The lists goes on super disappointing.’

Several others declared they were unfollowing Amber over the update … and since then, AR has disabled comments on her IG post.

Mark Cuban’s DEI Question-Begging

Mark Cuban’s DEI Question-Begging

Will the billionaire Mavs owner agree to a debate?

Earlier this month, The American Conservative published “DEI Was Never About Profitability,” in which I refuted Mark Cuban’s crusade to convince the public that companies hiring board members based on gender and ethnicity is a profitable endeavor. He leans on McKinsey studies “proving” that DEI is profitable, while I tout a new academic study from Jeremiah Green, an accounting professor at Texas A&M, and John Hand, an accounting professor at the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill, debunking those McKinsey studies. Cuban replied to me to defend himself.

He first questioned my sincerity: “You are banking on the fact that no one read the survey you referenced. Aren’t you?” I wanted readers to read the study, which is why I prominently linked to it. The study was precisely as I portrayed it; I did not twist, distort, or misquote it.

“They [Green and Hand] had to reverse engineer the survey,” Cuban continued. “McKinsey didn’t provide their data.”

This shows a basic misunderstanding of Green and Hand’s study. Replication is not reverse engineering. (It’s ironic that he uses this “reverse engineering” terminology, as this is likely what McKinsey did—they had a result they wanted to show and seem to have reverse-engineered their data to show it.)

“They found, in the actual data, that the SP 500 firms (in 2019) that ranked the highest in diversity, outperformed the lowest quartile,” Cuban writes. This doesn’t mean that DEI leads to profitable companies, it simply means that profitable companies have tended to practice DEI. The causal link is unsubstantiated; it remains unclear and unproven that wokeness is boosting bottom lines.

“What they concluded was that a random big company using the McKinsey approach wouldn’t get the results McKinsey suggests,” Cuban said. This is precisely the point. There is no effect of skin color on performance, and a random company that increases racial diversity would not get the performance uplift McKinsey claims.

Cuban’s follow-up comment is revealing: “The reality is that it’s useless research.” It appears that, since McKinsey’s research confirms his worldview was useful to Cuban, it is useful; research challenging his worldview is useless, even when it uses the same methodology.

“All the companies in the SP 500 that they used back in 2019 have the resources to decide for themselves if DEI works for them,” he continued. “And those outside of the [SP500] aren’t going to base their diversity decisions on this survey.” As alluded to above, the fact that every big company is woke doesn’t prove anything beyond that they’re feeling the pressure to conform. This pressure often comes in the form of financial coercion—the CEO of BlackRock, for example, has admitted that his company actively “forces behaviors” on DEI.

It is also false that McKinsey’s findings are used only at large companies. In fact, they have been applied widely in small and mid-size firms all over the world. For example, here is promotional literature from Jupiter Asset Management bragging about research showing that “DEI correlates directly with business performance.” Moreover, McKinsey’s flawed research had significant influence well beyond the realm of corporate affairs. At least two different sources in the Navy and at least one source in the Department of Defense explicitly cited the debunked McKinsey studies as justification for spending $270 million on DEI initiatives between 2022 and 2024.

In response to an emailed request for comment, Cuban wrote, “Thanks for the comical article. We can agree on what the data does or doesn’t mean. That’s fair. We can disagree on the impact of DEI. But your personal attacks tell me the level of respect you have for your audience.” (We’ll let the readers decide whether the tone was over the line.) “And your consideration of Elon’s reference to the composition of the Mavs is pretty funny. The number one rule of corporate DEI is hire the most qualified person, or in case of an NBA team, player. It’s amazing to me how difficult a concept that is for some people.”

Actually, the number one rule of corporate DEI is to hit targets and quotas; that is what makes it different from traditional hiring practices. Hiring the most qualified person is just meritocracy, not DEI. It appears that there is a contradiction in how Cuban treats companies and how he treats the NBA, where he refuses to hire any female, Asian, disabled, transgender, or two-spirit athletes, as Elon Musk points out.

Cuban has been arguing in circles about DEI and profitability for months on end on X, including at great length with the Manhattan Institute’s Chris Rufo, who has challenged him to a debate on this issue. Rufo has expressed his continued willingness:

I am eager to continue my debate with Mark Cuban on DEI and profitability, and I welcome the opportunity to do so under the auspices of The American Conservative. I respect Mark’s candor and willingness to engage; hopefully, he accepts the invitation to defend his ideas.

The American Conservative hereby extends an invitation to host and moderate the Rufo vs. Cuban debate, whether in person or virtually. We look forward to facilitating a rigorous exchange of ideas on the topic of DEI and profitability.

Trump Must Up His Trade Game Against Biden

Trump Must Up His Trade Game Against Biden

Coupled with his tariffs, a border-adjustable tax would make U.S. manufacturing great again.

Credit: Trump White House Archives

Borrowing from the former President Trump’s playbook, President Biden last week raised tariffs on Chinese steel, aluminum, semiconductors, and all things green, including electric vehicles. This isn’t the only time the Democratic president has taken cues from his Republican predecessor. Not only was a “Buy American” executive order among the first he issued, but Biden has continued most of Trump’s trade policies since he arrived at the White House.

Biden’s pattern confirms the wisdom as well as the election-year appeal of Trump’s trade agenda, to which Biden originally took exception. With his latest move, the president handed his GOP challenger an opportunity to up the economic ante by championing a broader and more vigorous industrial policy—projecting a vision that is not distracted by windmills or other green-energy boondoggles, but one that elevates manufacturing as king of the American economy.

Trump’s call last year for across-the-board, 10-percent tariffs on all imports, regardless of country of origin, signifies the former president is serious about making manufacturing great again. And if he complements his import duties with the border-adjustable tax proposed in 2016, the combined punch would be far stronger than Biden’s ideological and piecemeal approach, currently limited to his “green” agenda and semiconductor production. Trump could seize the day with a comprehensive campaign to restore balanced trade while generating a healthy tariff-revenue stream to fund cutting-edge U.S. innovation and help retire federal debt.

Having railed against U.S. inaction in the face of unfair foreign trade practices since the late 1980s, Trump should be bullish on the border-adjustable tax—a tax-code revision that ensures all products sold domestically, whether made at home or abroad, are taxed equally, and that U.S. exports are not price-burdened by taxes imposed here but taxed in the country where consumed. The United States remains the only industrial nation in the world without a value-added tax (VAT), leaving us with a strategic economic and trade disadvantage. Without a border-adjustable equivalent, U.S. exporters are being out-competed in global commerce. In effect, we have for years been giving every VAT country a free ride on trade—just as we did with NATO, giving most member states a free ride on defense until the 45th president shamed them into paying their fair share.

In committing tariff revenue to rebuild the American economy, Trump needs to address forcefully the shambolic underpinnings of our economic and military might—for example, steel production and commercial shipbuilding—after generations of outsourcing that have turbocharged both allies and enemies to out-produce and undersell us at home and abroad.

As the Iraq War revealed, domestic steel makers have for years lacked the surge capacity needed in a crisis. More ominous, the U.S. commercial shipbuilding and maritime trade—a pillar of our industrial base and key to achieving a sorely needed 355-ship Navy—barely exists anymore, warns national-security expert Loren Thompson. China’s shipbuilding capacity, per a stunning Wall Street Journal video report, is 200 times greater than ours. Shoring up these core foundations of American strength should dovetail with reviving other legacy industries—everything from advanced technology products and aerospace to power tools and motor-vehicle parts—equally in dire straits.

In revitalizing manufacturing, Trump confronts the same obstacle he faced in his first term: a legion of influential GOP policy players, encompassing supply siders, libertarians, and neo-liberals, whose economic objectives few Republican, or, for that matter, Democratic voters share. These ideologues soured on the president when he imposed tariffs on steel and aluminum in 2018. The top White House economic adviser, Gary Cohen from Goldman Sachs, resigned in a huff.

Trump gets the same shabby treatment from rabid free traders at the Wall Street Journal, who trashed his beefed-up tariff proposal last August. The newspaper’s editors, steeped in discredited neoclassical trade theory, remain happy campers when Trump talks about extending his 2017 tax cuts, but sneer at his goal of restoring the very “America first” trade and industrial policies upon which the GOP was founded, and which reaped a massive growth surge, lasting more than 100 years, leading to dominant superpower status.

Favoring the financial sector over manufacturing, these entrenched influencers think trillion-dollar merchandise trade deficits don’t qualify as a “useful measure economic performance.” They base such claims on a mistaken extrapolation from the maxim that a one-country or one-year trade deficit doesn’t matter because markets correct such imbalances. Yet the market has yet to reverse our cumulative net losing streak of the last 30 years—now approaching a whopping $20 trillion and counting, representing the loss of prime wealth-creating industries and millions of family-wage jobs with good benefits. If we don’t change the trajectory, as Trump would say, we won’t have a country.

Lost in the details of GDP numbers and tax rates, the free traders can’t see the faulty economic models in their own eyes; nor can they spot currency manipulation, inflexible labor markets, the overvalued dollar, and the trade-distorting practices of foes and friends alike. Their cherished abstractions don’t work in the real world. Meanwhile, the constant fixation of their supply-side fellow travelers—corporate and business tax rates—are less determinant of national success and well-being than keeping the United States on top of the innovation and manufacturing game by moving promising ideas quickly from R&D into useful commercial production.

These hidebound voices scuttled the border-adjustable tax during the congressional sausage making of the 2017 tax legislation. Yet, the brainchild of former House Ways and Means Committee Chairman Kevin Brady as part of the 2016 “House Blueprint” tax proposal, the daring border-tax plan would have compensated for the revenue losses from the business tax breaks. And it would have boosted long-term investment at home by rewarding U.S. companies for exports while, at the same time, revenues from tariffs could be channeled to subsidize the rebooting of key industries. Border-tax revenue could further be directed to defense R&D, historically a vital engine of American innovation and federal debt reduction.

Assuming he returns to the White House, Trump could easily deliver on tariffs and the border tax by tying both policies to the extension of his tax cuts, for which he will find ample support, even among Democrats. Such a winning policy would dramatically help the country, but especially workaday Americans, move on from supply-side napkin narrative that has overpromised and underdelivered for 40 years.

But right now, the presumptive Republican nominee needs to enhance his trade game against the Democratic incumbent, who seems intent on stealing his thunder. By setting forth a more robust and comprehensive trade, border-tax, and industrial policy—one that returns manufacturing to the center of American economics—Trump can deliver policies ordinary Americans want, and leave Biden in the dustbin of history.

REPORT: Illegal Aliens Are Rushing to the Border Now Because They’re Afraid Trump is Going to Win in November

Illegal immigrants are apparently paying attention to political poll numbers in the United States.

Many of them are afraid that Trump is going to win in November and they’re rushing to the border as a result. They’re afraid that the free-for-all they have enjoyed under Biden will be all over and the border will finally come to an end.

Say what you will about these people, but they’re not stupid. They know Biden is in their corner and that Trump is serious about border security.

The New York Post reported:

Migrants rushing to cross border now in case Biden loses in November: ‘We don’t want Trump’

Migrants are coming to the US now because they fear President Biden could lose re-election in November and Donald Trump will shut the border.

Colombian brothers Ricardo, 20, and Sebastian, 18, spoke with The Post after crossing the Arizona border illegally last week.

They said they had been receiving assistance at the Yuma Regional Center for Border Health as they waited for a bus to the Phoenix airport, where they later caught a flight to New Jersey.

“We think with the elections, it will be harder,” Ricardo said.

“We don’t want Trump,” Sebastian said.

The brothers claimed asylum after they crossed the southern border and turned themselves in to Border Patrol agents in Yuma. They said they faced threats from criminals in Colombia, leading them to flee.

WHAT’S GOING ON HERE? Paul Pelosi’s Attacker Has Already Been Tried and Sentenced – Meanwhile, the Man Who Wanted to Kill Justice Kavanaugh Hasn’t Even Gone to Trial

What is going on with our justice system?

David DePape, the man who attacked Nancy Pelosi’s husband Paul has already faced a trial, was convicted, and sentenced to 30 years in jail. His crime took place in October of 2022.

Meanwhile, Nicholas Roske, who showed up at the home of U.S. Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh with a gun and other dangerous items with the intention of killing him, has not even gone on trial yet. And his crime happened months before the attack on Paul Pelosi!

Want to hear something nuts?

June 2022: Nicholas Roske attempts to assassinate Kavanaugh

Four months later, a man attacks Nancy Pelosi’s husband

Pelosi’s attacker has already been tried, convicted, and sentenced to 30 years in prison

Meanwhile, Roske hasn’t even gone to trial

— John Hasson (@SonofHas) May 17, 2024

A few weeks ago, the Washington Free Beacon pointed out that the case against Roske is being slow-walked and no one seems to know why:

Biden DOJ Slow-Walks ‘Slam Dunk’ Case Against Man Who Allegedly Tried To Kill Justice Kavanaugh, Baffling Experts

President Joe Biden’s Department of Justice is dragging its feet in prosecuting Nicholas Roske, the man accused of trying to assassinate Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh, leaving legal experts perplexed about the slow-moving pace of the case.

Roske was indicted for attempted murder of a Supreme Court justice nearly two years ago in June 2022, after allegedly traveling from his parent’s home in California to the Maryland suburbs of Washington, D.C., with the intent to kill Kavanaugh. Roske, a biological male who identified in some online posts as a transgender woman, was upset over the leaked Supreme Court draft opinion overturning Roe v. Wade, according to court documents…

“It’s noteworthy that after nearly two years, there is still no trial date or plea agreement in this case,” Gerard Filitti, senior counsel at The Lawfare Project, told the Free Beacon. “While pretrial motions would resolve questions about the admissibility of some of the evidence, including statements made by Roske, there is no underlying procedural reason why it would take this long to get to trial.”

Does criminal justice in the United States now depend on the politics of the people who are victims of crimes?

It sure looks that way in this case.

WHO WANTS TO TELL HER? Hollywood Dope Bette Midler Asks: ‘What Would Have Happened if Hillary Clinton Had Claimed the Election Was Stolen?’

Hollywood liberal Bette Midler recently asked on Twitter/X: ‘what would have happened if Hillary Clinton had claimed the election was stolen?’

For real. See the tweet below:

Can you imagine what would have happened if Hillary Clinton had claimed the election was stolen?

This is evidence that lots of people talk about politics but clearly have no idea what they’re talking about. Earth to Bette Midler: Hillary did claim that the 2016 election was stolen. Repeatedly.

The Daily Wire reported on this:

Bette Midler Gets Fact-Checked After Asking, What If Hillary Clinton ‘Claimed The Election Was Stolen?’

The remark, seemingly out of the blue from the legendary singer and actress whose career in Hollywood and on Broadway has spanned more than five decades, immediately attracted criticism as well as a fact-check.

Critics pointed out that Clinton is on the record questioning the results of the election she lost to former President Donald Trump.

“There was a widespread understanding that this election [in 2016] was not on the level,” Clinton said in October 2020 during an interview on The Atlantic’s politics podcast, The Ticket. “We still don’t know what really happened.”

“There’s just a lot that I think will be revealed. History will discover,” Clinton continued. “But you don’t win by 3 million votes and have all this other shenanigans and stuff going on and not come away with an idea like, ‘Whoa, something’s not right here.’ That was a deep sense of unease.”

Midler got roasted by other people:
