Given the numerous — numerous — issues afflicting the country right now, one would think that people would have more constructive uses of their time than to attack a children’s summer camp.

One would think wrong.

Chick-fil-A, the shockingly polarizing fast-food chicken restaurant, has once again found itself in the crosshairs of bad-faith actors who just want to pick a fight with the Christ-forward franchise of eateries.

This time, however, it’s not about the company’s Christian origins or its adherence to the Sabbath. No, this time around, these dullards are attacking one Chick-fil-A restaurant’s summer camp event.

A Chick-fil-A in Hammond, Louisiana, announced this fun offering in a June 6 Facebook post:

The camp, which will take place across various days in mid-to-late July, will offer children (ideally ages 5-12) the chance to meet Chick-fil-A mascots and managers.

The camp will also involve a “behind-the-scenes look” at hospitality and service, as well as a “behind-the-scenes view of what it’s like to work at America’s favorite quick-service restaurant.”

The camp will cost $35 per child, and will also include a snack, T-shirt and “some goodies.”

It is as innocuous and innocent a little summer activity as one can imagine.– if a tad pricey for the value, but what isn’t these days?

And yet, terminally online dunces saw this pretty neat-sounding children’s camp as some horrible form of child exploitation.

A cursory glance at the Facebook post’s comments showed a number of upset commentators.

“This sounds like child labor with extra steps …” one Facebook user commented.

“Wait. You’re wanting parents to *check notes* pay you, to use their young children as laborers,” another user commented. “But they get a free meal, snack and shirt that will give you free advertising?

“Sounds legit.”

“Y’all need to be reported to somebody’s government agency for this…” another user commented.

Not-so-funnily enough, one user did just that, actually tagging the official Facebook account for the Department of Labor in one of the post’s responses.

Thankfully, there was still quite a bit of sanity in the comments, with some users lauding the move as a fun way for kids to play and eat. Others noted that for the very reasonable price of $35, parents can get roughly three hours of child supervision and lunch — a pretty solid deal, if you ask most parents.

There are two additional things worth noting about this latest faux outrage from the left:

As any kid who grew up in a restaurant can tell you (this writer speaks from experience), working in a restaurant is a time-honored children’s tradition for many. It’s not that weird.
This camp is not child labor, period. It’s laughable to think that these restaurants are actually expecting anything resembling productivity from 5-12-year-olds. Anyone who’s spent 10 minutes around kids that age knows that’s a fool’s errand.

To reiterate: There are much bigger issues in the world than a $35, three-hour children’s camp event.

One would think that would be painfully obvious for anyone with two brain cells to rub together.

One would think wrong.

January 6 Prisoners be called to testify about their mistreatment and the two-tiered justice they have received in court.

FBI Whistleblowers and Capitol Police officers, like Chief Steve Sund and Lt. Tyrik Johnson and other Federal assets who were in the crowd, be called to testify about the true nature of the January 6 Set Up.

2. A Congressional Committee to be formed to investigate the vast overcharging of the J6 defendants by corrupt Federal Prosecutors and the oversentencing of the J6ers by the corrupt Federal Judges.

Those Judges & Prosecutors found in violation of administering Two-Tiered Justice be immediately impeached and disbarred.

3. All 40,000+ hours of J6 Footage to be released unredacted to the American public by Speaker Johnson immediately.

4. Financial compensation and restitution to be awarded to all of the J6 family members that have suffered wrongfully and had their lives destroyed by the government’s persecution of innocent patriots.

5. Congress would pass a new budget where – The FBI, The DoJ, the US Marshals, the DC Jail Gulag, and the Bureau of Prisons (BOP), US Attorneys Office budgets be absolutely REDLINED until they RELEASE THE JANUARY 6 POLITICAL PRISONERS!!!

STOP FUNDING THIS MADNESS!!!

Historically Hunger Strikes have been the last resort of political prisoners who feel voiceless and abandoned. Is this what we had come to in America? The cries from cold, dark, prison cells of patriots no longer being heard by our feckless Congressman that they have to resort to starvation to obtain justice?!

A CNN data reporter was left stunned as he revealed President Trump’s level of support with black voters, especially younger ones.

As the Daily Caller reported, CNN senior data reporter Harry Enten appeared with reporter John Berman Monday morning to discuss the state of the 2024 Presidential race. When the topic turned to how candidates are faring among black voters, Enten had some stunning news to share with CNN viewers.

According to polling shared by Enten, Trump is on his way to a historic overperformance with blacks, winning over 20% of these voters when Republicans, on average, win less than 10%.

More significantly, there is no sign of this sudden surge reverting to historic norms anytime soon, suggesting the surge is real.

After Berman pressed Enten for more detail on the number, Enten revealed that Trump’s explosion of support with blacks is powered by those under 50, slashing Biden’s support by more than half in just four years.

Biden, in contrast, has only slipped slightly with older black voters.

An astonished Enten concludes by telling Berman this is the first time he’s ever seen this. If the data is anywhere close to correct, Democrats are on the verge of losing one of the most reliable parts of their coalition to their most hated enemy.

BERMAN: Where does the race stand among African-American voters?

ENTEN: “I keep looking for this to change, to go back to a historical norm, and it, simply put, has not yet. So this is the margin, or, Biden and Trump among black voters, compare where we were at this point in 2020, compare to where we are now.

At this point, look at this. In 2020, Joe Biden was getting 86% of the African American vote. Look at where it is now. It’s 70%, that’s a 16-point drop, John. And more than that, it’s not just that Joe Biden is losing ground. It’s that Donald Trump is gaining ground.

You go from 7%, single-digits at this point in 2020, to now 21% and again, John, I keep looking for signs that this is going to go back to normal and I don’t see it yet in the polling of anything right now. We’re careening towards a historic performance for a Republican presidential candidate, the likes of which we have not seen in six decades.”

BERMAN: And when you dig into this number, what is the make-up of that number?

ENTEN: This is where it gets interesting…Look at black voters under the age of 50.

Holy cow, folks, holy cow. Look at this. Joe Biden was up by 80 points among this group back at this point in 2020, look at where that margin has careened down towards. It’s now just, get this, 37 points. That lead has dropped by more than half.

Mr. Berman, I’ve just never seen anything like this. I’m like speechless because you always look at history and you go, ‘Okay, this is a historic moment.’ If this polling is anywhere near correct, we’re looking at a historic moment right now, where black voters under the age of 50, which have historically been such a big part of the democratic coalition, are leaving in droves.

“It’s partially an artifact of Donald Trump perhaps being better liked among black voters, but it’s also a real artifact of Joe Biden being significantly less liked among black voters than he was four years ago.

Trump caused a political earthquake in 2016 after winning several key states that had not gone Republican in years. This was thanks to him flipping millions of working-class whites to the GOP, who were attracted to his messages on trade and immigration.

That political realignment, though, could pale in comparison to making a significant dent in the black vote.

Joe Biden will deplete the US’s oil reserves to artificially lower gas prices months before the presidential election.

When Biden was installed in January 2021 nationwide average gas was $2.39 per gallon. Today gas is $3.44 per gallon thanks to Joe Biden’s war on domestic oil production.

The Washington Examiner reported:

President Joe Biden is prepared to release more oil from the country’s strategic reserves if gas prices increase during the summer. This is the latest plan by the Biden administration to counter higher prices at the pumps and the more expensive prices on various goods due to inflation.

A Biden administration energy adviser suggested gas prices are “still too high” for many in the country and said he favors taking action to “cut them down a little bit further.”

“We will do everything we can to make sure that the market is supplied well enough to ensure as low [a] price as possible for American consumers,” Special Presidential Coordinator for Global Infrastructure and Energy Security Amos Hochstein told the Financial Times. “I think that we have enough in the SPR if it’s necessary.”

Earlier this year Biden Regime canceled its plan to refill the Strategic Petroleum Reserve because oil is “way too expensive.”

Recall that Biden drained the SPR to its lowest level in 40 years.

Biden sold the U.S. Strategic Petroleum Reserves (SPR) to Europe, India and China.

Joe Biden depleted the SPR to help China.

In October 2022 Joe Biden absurdly claimed he would be refilling the oil reserve at $70 a barrel to make money.

“By selling from the [oil reserve] at the higher price of $90 earlier this year and then re-filling it in the future at a lower price around $70 will actually make money,” Biden previously said.

A few years ago the Democrats blocked President Trump from filling the Strategic Oil Reserves at $24 per barrel.

The Democrats cost the US BILLIONS in potential profits.

To add to the scandal, Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm secretly consulted with CCP energy officials before Joe Biden released barrels of oil from the US Strategic Petroleum Reserve (SPR) in 2021.

“Secretary Granholm’s multiple closed-door meetings with a CCP-connected energy official raise serious questions about the level of Chinese influence on the Biden administration’s energy agenda,” APT Executive Director Caitlin Sutherland told Fox News.

The Department of Energy (DOE) downplayed the Biden Regime’s consultation with CCP officials and said the meeting was a part of the agency’s effort to ‘combat climate change.’

Legendary actor Morgan Freeman is not a fan of Black History Month.

In an interview with Variety, the Oscar-winning actor said that his history is tied to the story of America rather than the idea of being black.

“I detest it. The mere idea of it. You are going to give me the shortest month in a year? And you are going to celebrate ‘my’ history?! This whole idea makes my teeth itch. It’s not right.”

“My history is American history,” he continued. “It’s the one thing in this world I am interested in, beyond making money, having a good time and getting enough sleep.”

Freeman made the comments ahead of the release of the series The Gray House, on which Freeman worked as an executive producer alongside fellow star Kevin Costner.

The show explores the secret work carried out by three female Union spies during the American Civil War.

It is not the first time that Freeman has spoken out against the racialization of American life.

Back in 2005, he made national headlines when he argued that the only when to get rid of racism is to “stop talking about it.”

“I am going to stop calling you a White man, and I’m going to ask you to stop calling me a Black man,” Freeman said at the time.

Michael Patrick Leahy, founder and editor of the Tennessee Star

The chilling manifesto of Covenant School shooter Audrey Elizabeth Hale, a biological female who identified as a transgender male at the time of her horrific attack on March 27, 2023, was leaked again on Friday.

Star News Digital Media, Inc., which owns and operates The Star, and the publication’s editor-in-chief, Michael Patrick Leahy, are currently plaintiffs in lawsuits seeking to compel the Metro Nashville Police Department (MNPD) and the FBI to release Hale’s writings, including those referred to as a manifesto.

The Tennessee Star confirmed on Wednesday that it had obtained nearly four dozen pages of Hale’s writings from a source familiar with the investigation. The March 11, 2023 entry revealed her intense desire to possess a “penis.”

Hale’s diary entry begins with the title “My Imaginary Penis” and includes a crude drawing. “My penis exists in my head. I swear to god I’m a male,” wrote Hale in the diary. She then expressed her desire to have a penis for heterosexual intercourse, according to The Tennessee Star.

Further into the document, Hale details the challenges faced when using the name Aiden on a job application, which led to complications during a background check. The writings also reveal a narrative of torment about being raised as a girl, describing it as “torture.”

“I hate parental views; how my mom sees me as a daughter – and she’d not bear to want to lose that daughter because a son would be the death of Audrey.”

Ten days ago, The Gateway Pundit published an exclusive image from the Audrey Hale collection.

Tennessee Chancery Court Judge l’Ashea Myles ordered Michael Patrick Leahy, who also serves as CEO of Star News Digital Media, to appear before the court to determine whether Leahy and The Star violated any court orders related to publishing news stories on the shooter’s writings.

Government officials worked diligently to prevent the killer’s writings from going public for some reason.

Leahy confirmed he will appear before court on Monday. He reportedly faces contempt charges and possibly jail time for publishing the deranged rantings of the Covenant shooter’s writings.

Leahy also vowed not to reveal his source to the court.

Michael Patrick Leahy will appear in court this morning.

In a heartfelt demonstration, family, friends, and fans of “General Hospital” actor Johnny Wactor took to the streets of Los Angeles, calling for increased safety measures following his tragic murder.

Wactor, known for his role as Brando Corbin on the popular soap opera, was fatally shot on May 25 during an attempted catalytic converter theft.

The protest, held on June 12, saw hundreds of participants marching through downtown LA, demanding action from city officials to address the rising crime rates. Wactor’s ex-fiancée, Tessa Farrell, made an emotional plea for change, urging the community to come together and combat the violence that has plagued the city​​.

Farrell’s sentiments were echoed by many at the rally, who held signs and chanted slogans advocating for safer streets and justice for Wactor. “It’s not OK. This can’t keep happening,” Farrell stated in a video posted on social media. “So many lives are being lost… we have to be smarter as a community. We have to stop being so mean to each other. The UK seems to once again be trending in the opposite direction of the rest of Europe.

While in the middle of the 2010’s the old continent was heavily doubling down on Globalist, Brits voted in 2016 to leave the European Union, in a move that shocked the world and promised to give the Kingdom back its sovereignty.

Now, as the European states are being swept by a conservative-populist-nationalist right wing wave that is essentially anti-Globalist in nature, the UK is about to jump left – and possibly even with the Labour party getting a massive majority that will allow it to implement reforms that can potentially take the nation back into the EU fold.

Now, less than three weeks before the UK’s snap general election, ruling Conservatives have been crushed by the latest – and disastrous – opinion polls that arose over the weekend.

The three polls presented a grim picture for Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, suggesting he has little to no chance of turning the situation around before the vote on July 4.

One pollster goes as far as warning that Conservatives face ‘electoral extinction’ in the election.

Reuters reported:

“Sunak surprised many in his own party by announcing an early election on May 22, against widespread expectations that he would wait until later in the year to allow more time for living standards to recover after the highest inflation in 40 years.

Market research company Savanta found 46% support for Keir Starmer’s Labour Party, up 2 points on the previous poll five days earlier, while support for the Conservatives dropped 4 points to 21%. The poll was conducted from June 12 to June 14 for the Sunday Telegraph.

Labour’s 25-point lead was the largest since the premiership of Sunak’s predecessor, Liz Truss, whose tax cut plans prompted investors to dump British government bonds, pushing up interest rates and forcing a Bank of England intervention.

‘Our research suggests that this election could be nothing short of electoral extinction for the Conservative Party,” Chris Hopkins, political research director at Savanta, said’.”

A Survation poll, published by the Sunday Times, predicted the Conservatives could end up with as little as 72 seats in the 650-member House of Commons.

That’d be the lowest in their nearly 200-year history – while Labour would win 456 seats.

A third poll by Opinium, published by Sunday’s Observer, showed Labour on 40%, the Conservatives on 23% and Reform on 14%.

Transport Secretary Mark Harper on Sunday told BBC TV that voters by Reform and other smaller parties may give Sir Keir Starmer and his Labour party ‘an unassailable majority’.

Bloomberg reported:

“’It’s very clear if you’re somebody who voted for us in 2019 and you want lower taxes and you want to control migration, if you vote for anybody else other than the Conservatives you’re going to get a Labour government with a large majority and a blank check’, Harper said.”

Robert Jenrick, former Tory minister, wrote in the Sunday Telegraph that the UK risks ‘sleepwalking into a very dangerous future’.

But he had fierce criticism for his own party.

“’Not only do I understand their frustrations, I share many of them’, Jenrick wrote. ‘The tax burden is too high, criminal justice system too soft and public services too inefficient. My disagreements with the government on immigration policy meant I resigned from the Cabinet’.”

Montana Senator Lashes Out After Article Highlights Montana Outsourcing Mental Health to China.

Ten days ago, AbleChild released an article (which was republished at JoeHoft.com) about the State of Montana outsourcing its behavioral health system to a New York consulting firm with ties to China.

Much to AbleChild’s surprise, Montana State Senator Bob Keenan (the Commission Chair and sponsor of the legislation) contacted AbleChild four days later, explaining that there were “so many inaccuracies in your opinion piece!”

AbleChild works hard to provide accurate information to its members and the public. So, naturally, AbleChild contacted Senator Keenan requesting that he provide exactly what he believed was “inaccurate” in the article.

No one could have expected such a derogatory email in response where the Senator literally berates AbleChild and either makes up or, in the least, hides the identity of some nefarious individual who slanders AbleChild without having the courage to show his or her face.

 

Senator Keenan provided one example of an inaccuracy in relationship to how many times his committee met, and AbleChild corrected it, see updated article. However, the State Senator never addresses the firm’s association with China, and went on to share that someone (he does not say who) provided an “unsolicited reference” about AbleChild. Senator Keenan claims that this unnamed person told him to stay away from AbleChild – slandering AbleChild and claiming that “the gal who runs it is not credible or trustworthy,” saying “she actually said to a Tennessee State Senator – “How much money do I need to pay you…?” The Montana Senator’s response to this slanderous nonsense? “Good grief! “No corrections necessary, please! Just stay away from Montana!” Hmmm…

Senator Keenan should be ashamed of his behavior. Good grief, indeed! Is that how the Montana legislative body handles anyone who questions its legislative actions? “Just stay away from Montana?!” It’s one thing to not like an article. It’s quite another to pass along injurious, slanderous information about an organization without investigating whether there is any truth behind the attack. At a minimum, Senator Keenan should release the name of the person who made such slanderous statements about AbleChild.

And rather than berate an organization for questioning Montana’s choice to oversee its $300 million behavioral health program, perhaps it should find out just how cozy the ties between the chosen consultant (A&M) and China may be. Do the taxpayers of Montana deserve that information? Despite Senator Keenan’s claims that there is ample oversight of the $300 million dollar reorganization of the behavioral health program, it appears that AbleChild was the first to reveal A&M’s China connection.

As far as AbleChild can tell, the only information in the article that was inaccurate was the number of times the Commission had met. AbleChild made that correction immediately. Beyond that, AbleChild spent ten paragraphs discussing decades of abuse within behavioral health programs generally, their historical background and the dangers associated with unchecked power and sporadic oversight.

Perhaps a better use of the Senator’s time would be to refrain from passing on hurtful, slanderous statements about an organization of which he cannot support as factual and, rather, look into whether the state’s mental health system will be adversely affected by any connection between its behavioral health consultant (A&M) and China.
