Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) released aerial footage of a smuggler and several illegals on the run from the Border Patrol yesterday in Mission, Texas. As the smuggler drove toward the Rio Grande, he was arrested. That’s when seven illegal aliens got on a raft and fled back to Mexico.

Under Operation Lone Star, Texas has cracked down on illegal immigration on its own without the help of the politicians in DC.

While the Biden regime intentionally is letting in illegal aliens, Texas has been taking the initiative to protect its Border.

Texas DPS has also been successful with its ground operations. They have been arresting illegal aliens throughout the state. Footage released yesterday from late June in Starr County, shows a smuggler evading the DPS on a short vehicle chase. After bailing out of the car, the illegal is shown resisting arrest.

The Federal Government has failed in its Constitutional duties under Article IV, Section 4 of the US Constituion.

“The United States shall guarantee to every State in this Union a Republican Form of Government, and shall protect each of them against Invasion; and on Application of the Legislature, or of the Executive (when the Legislature cannot be convened) against domestic Violence,” Article IV, Section 4 of the US Constitution.

Since the Biden regime took over in January of 2021, an estimated 10 to 12 million illegal aliens have invaded the US. Some estimates are upwards of 15 million considering the number of “gotaways.”

That number equals or is greater than about the population of 41 individual states.

Rasmussen’s Mark Mitchell says , despite Old Joe Biden’s obvious dementia, Kamala Harris and Gavin Newsom would not do any better against Trump in the 2024 presidential race.

On Saturday Mark Mitchell, the lead pollster at Rasmussen, joined Dave Brat on The War Room to discuss the latest polling in the Democrat Party race for president.

Mitchell did not have any good news to share with Democrats.

Joe Biden’s numbers are in the tank. He is losing to President Trump. But Kamala Harris and Governor Gavin Newsom are polling worse than Old Joe against Trump in the presidential race.

Mark Mitchell: This isn’t really about Joe Biden. Even going into the debate, 57% of voters said over time, he’s getting less and less mentally sharp. Only 34% said no. But people knew the media was covering it up. 60% of voters said it’s at least somewhat likely. The media is helping cover-up evidence of President Biden’s declining mental sharpness. Now, the media has lost tons and tons of trust, but they still have somewhat more trust with Democrats.

Now, we all know the media has thrown their lot in with the establishment candidate, and I think that’s what’s to look at.

If you ask me about the race right now, no current suggested Democrat candidate can beat Trump, is close to beating Trump in our numbers, is even really doing better than Biden, to be honest. But what I will say is the most prominent ones, like Newsom and Harris, they actually poll worse against Trump than Joe Biden does. The reason that is, is because of Democrats. Democrats actually have lower favorability for Harris and for Newsom, and the independents or Republicans, very similar numbers with Biden.

This is devastating news for Democrats.

It ought to be a very interesting few weeks ahead!

CNN chief medical correspondent Dr. Sanjay Gupta said he believes, based on President Joe Biden’s dismal June 27 debate performance, that he should “undergo detailed cognitive and movement disorder testing.”

In a Friday piece for CNN, the neurosurgeon wrote that he and more than a dozen colleagues that he’s been in touch with were “concerned with [Biden’s] confused rambling; sudden loss of concentration in the middle of a sentence; halting speech and absence of facial animation, resulting at times in a flat, open-mouthed expression.”

“To be clear, these are only observations, not in any way diagnostic of something deeper, and none of these doctors wished to suggest that was the case,” Gupta added.

“The consensus from the doctors reaching out to me, however, was that the president should be encouraged to undergo detailed cognitive and movement disorder testing, and those results should be made available to the public,” he wrote.

In a Friday CNN interview, Gupta said, “I think a lot of the things people saw at the debate weren’t necessarily new, but they were sustained, and I think more pronounced than what we had seen in the past. I think that’s what really provoked the essay.”

The doctor listed slow response time, word retrieval mixups, rambling speech, reduced voice volume and reduced facial movements as indications of a potential problem for the 81-year-old Biden.

One instance that received a lot of media coverage was when the president gave a rambling, incoherent answer about health care ending with, “We finally beat Medicare.”

Gupta noted that the White House has blamed Biden’s “bad night” on working late nights, jet lag and having a cold.

“Those things can cause temporary brain fog,” the physician said, but added the issue still is “Are we looking at episodes of something, or is this a condition that should be more fully investigated? And it really seems to be more of the latter.”

Gupta referenced a Biden medical report from February that the White House has cited, indicating Biden does not have neurological problems such as Parkinson’s disease, as some have speculated.

“Parkinson’s disease … might explain his stiff gait and decreased expression in his face,” Gupta wrote in his CNN essay. “Although Parkinson’s disease is the most common cause of parkinsonism — a set of movement symptoms such as stiffness and tremor –- there are other causes as well, and it was not clear in the medical report that those had been investigated.”

He contended that “detailed testing is important. It can help determine whether there is a simpler explanation for the symptoms displayed or if there is something more concerning.”

Gupta pointed out in his essay and interview that former President Donald Trump’s doctors have said he took and passed the Montreal Cognitive Assessment, which offers a baseline screening for potential neurological problems.

The neurosurgeon recommended Biden receive the same test, but also more detailed assessments.

Following his debate performance, the president has been facing increasing calls not to seek another term.

Radio host Andrea Lawful-Sanders, who recently interviewed Joe Biden following his disastrous performance at the previous week’s debate, has confirmed that the questions she posed to Biden were provided by the White House ahead of time.

Biden participated in two pre-recorded interviews after the debate; one with Wisconsin-based WAUK and another with Philly-based WURD. Both interviews aired on Thursday morning.

In both instances, Biden seemed to struggle with articulating his thoughts clearly.

During the interview with WURD, Biden told Lawful-Sanders that he was proud to be the first black woman to serve with a black president.

“And by the way, I’m proud to be – as I’ve said – the first Vice President – first black woman to serve with a black president,” Biden said.

Following these interviews, Lawful-Sanders spoke with CNN’s Victor Blackwell about the process leading up to her conversation with Biden.

When asked whether the questions she asked Biden were sent to her by the White House or if she had to submit them for approval beforehand, Lawful-Sanders responded: “The questions were sent to me for approval. I approved them.”

Upon further questioning by CNN, Lawful-Sanders confirmed that the White House did indeed send her the questions prior to the interview. Out of eight potential questions provided, she chose four that she felt were most appropriate for their discussion.

“If the White House is trying now to prove the vim, vigor, acuity of the President I don’t know how they do that by sending questions first before the interview so that the President knows what’s coming,” Blackwell said.

After delivering a speech to his supporters, Biden proceeded to shake hands and take selfies with several audience members.

Among the crowd was a young black woman, excited and proudly holding a Biden-Harris sign.

However, her moment of joy was rudely interrupted by an elderly Biden supporter who seemed visibly irritated.

She appeared to berate the young woman and demanded that she lower her sign.

To make matters worse, Biden himself added to the young woman’s disappointment.

Biden ignored the young woman entirely, walking past her without so much as a glance.

Democrats preach unity and respect but fail to practice what they preach.

On Friday, President Joe Biden committed to a second debate with Donald Trump.

Speaking to reporters before boarding Air Force One after a campaign event in Madison, Wisconsin, Biden was asked about debating Trump again.

“I hope he’ll debate me. I wouldn’t be surprised if he doesn’t,” Biden said.

A reporter followed up, confirming the president was giving a firm yes.

“I’m committing now. Absolutely. Whether he’s in or not,” he said.

Another reporter asked, “Are you going to drop out of the race, or are you completely ruling that out?”

“I’m completely ruling that out,” Biden answered.

The president was also asked if he had spoken to members of Congress about his decision to stay in the presidential race.

He responded that he had spoken to at least 20.

“What are they telling you?” a reporter queried.

“They’re telling me to stay in the race,” Biden answered.

He dismissed reports that Democratic Sen. Mark Warner of Virginia is bringing together a group of his colleagues, calling on him to not seek a second term.

“Mark Warner is the only one considering that,” he said.

Biden pointed to a meeting with Democratic governors he had at the White House Wednesday night during which they reconfirmed their commitment to his candidacy.

Asked if he was confident that he could serve another four years, the president responded, “I’m positive.”

In a Thursday Truth Social post, Trump wrote, “I have the answer to the Crooked Joe Biden Incompetence Puzzle — Let’s do another Debate, but this time, no holds barred – An all on discussion, with just the two of us on stage, talking about the future of our Country.”

A top neurologist specializing in Parkinson’s disease met with President Biden’s personal physician at the White House earlier this year.

Visitor logs reviewed by The New York Post revealed that Dr. Kevin Cannard, a renowned Parkinson’s expert at Walter Reed Medical Center, and Dr. John E. Atwood, a cardiologist from Walter Reed, had a meeting with Dr. Kevin O’Connor, Biden’s personal doctor, and another doctor at the White House residence clinic on January 17.

Dr. Cannard is a respected authority on Parkinson’s disease and has served as the “neurology specialist supporting the White House Medical Unit” since 2012, according to his LinkedIn profile.

Cannard actively participates in clinical research with his colleagues at Vanderbilt University, collaborating on studies involving Deep Brain Stimulation therapy for early-stage Parkinson’s Disease.

Parkinson’s disease (PD) is a brain disorder that causes progressive issues with movement, mental health, sleep, and pain. It’s characterized by unintended or uncontrollable movements, such as shaking, stiffness, and difficulty with balance and coordination. Symptoms usually start slowly and worsen over time.

According to Mayo Clinic, “In the early stages of Parkinson’s disease, your face may show little or no expression. Your arms may not swing when you walk. Your speech may become soft or slurred.”

Given that Biden’s health falls under Dr. O’Connor’s primary responsibility, it is highly probable that the meeting was about the commander in chief, according to Rep. Ronny Jackson (R-Tx), who served as the physician for both Presidents Obama and Trump.

“It’s highly likely they were talking about Biden,” Jackson told The Post. “He should only be [regularly] treating the president and the first family.”

Dr. O’Connor has been Biden’s official physician since he took office in January 2021 and is in daily contact with Biden.

Biden’s poor health has been particularly scrutinized ever since Special Counsel Robert Hur released a damning evaluation in his report on Biden’s stolen classified documents investigation earlier this month. He described Biden as an “elderly man with a poor memory” after hours of questioning.

Dr. Kevin O’Connor was responsible for “evaluating” the 81-year-old. But instead of conducting a truly independent and honest examination, O’Connor decided to gaslight the public in his written letter announcing the results earlier this year.

O’Connor concluded, despite Biden’s obvious physical struggles, he is “fit for duty and fully executes all of his responsibilities without any exemptions or accommodations.”

The doctor proclaimed that Biden “Feels well, and this year’s physical identifies no new concerns.” O’Connor also said this year’s physical included consultation with several Presidential Specialty Consultants who “concurred” with his findings.

The examination did NOT include a cognitive assessment test. The White House was probably scared of the results, knowing they would doom Biden’s re-election bid for good.

“I believe he and Jill Biden have led the cover-up,” Jackson told The Post. “Kevin O’Connor is like a son to Jill Biden — she loves him. It’s crazy. Kevin O’Connor was in that job on day one of the Biden administration because they knew they could trust Kevin to say and do anything that needed to be said or done and cover up whatever needed to be covered up. He is part of the Biden family.”

Viktor Obán and Vladimir Putin hold a press conference in Moscow, July 5, 2024

 

Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán has wrapped up his “peace mission” in Moscow with a press conference with Russian President Vladmir Putin, who called the overture  “an attempt to restore dialogue.” Writing in Newsweek, Orbán said that “The Point of NATO Is Peace, Not Endless War”.

“I have concluded my talks in Moscow with President Putin”, Orbán wrote on X. “My goal was to open the channels of direct communication and start a dialogue on the shortest road to peace. Mission accomplished! To be continued on Monday…”

During the joint press conference, Orbán “pointed out that past European progress was built on peace, and the current war has severely affected the continent’s sense of security and economic stability”, spokesman Zoltan Kovacs said. “Orbán also discussed several key issues with President Putin, including the evaluation of existing peace plans, the possibility of a ceasefire and subsequent peace talks, and the future European security structure post-war. He highlighted the necessity of dialogue and diplomatic channels, underscoring Hungary’s rare position of being able to communicate with both warring parties.”

Vladimir Putin called his talks with Orbán a “substantive, direct and honest discussion”, noting “It is important that we maintain a dialogue even in the current difficult geopolitical situation.”

Orbán had told him about his recent meetings in Kiev, Putin said, where he advanced a ceasefire proposal “to create conditions for peace negotiations with Moscow.”

Putin said Russia “remains open for a discussion on a political and diplomatic settlement. However, the opposite side only makes clear its reluctance to resolve this issue in this manner. Ukraine’s sponsors continue using this country and its people as a ram, making it a victim in the confrontation with Russia.”

“Kiev is still not ready to abandon the idea of waging ‘war until final victory’,” Putin said, criticizing that “the Kiev regime does not allow the very idea of cessation of hostilities because in this case the pretext for extending martial law disappears. And if the martial law has to be cancelled, it means that the elections, which were not held on time, will have to be held. But the chances of winning them are close to zero for the Ukrainian rulers who have lost their ranking and legitimacy.”

Putin noted Russia had advanced a “concrete and genuine peace proposal” June 14, which lays out conditions for “full and final end to the conflict.” The Russian proposal was ignored by the West, and Russia was not invited to the June 15-16 “Summit on Peace in Ukraine” in Lucerne, Switzerland, rendering it completely useless.

Given that Hungary currently holds the Presidency of the Council of the European Union, Putin said he and Orbán “exchanged views on the state of affairs in relations between Russia and the European Union, which are currently at their lowest point. We also talked about the tentative principles of a future security architecture in Europe, also tentative.”

Putin praised Orbán’s peace efforts as “an attempt to restore dialogue.”

The trip to Moscow drew strong rebukes from EU leaders and officials, despite Orbán insisting he was not representing the union. European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen accused Hungary’s prime minister of “appeasement” with regards to Putin. “Only unity and determination will pave the path to a comprehensive, just, and lasting peace in Ukraine,” she claimed.

Over the last week, Ukrainian armed forces lost up to 13,525 soldiers in battle, the Russian Ministry of Defense (MoD) claimed on Friday.

Writing in Newsweek, Orbán said that “The Point of NATO Is Peace, Not Endless War”

“It is worth remembering that the most successful military alliance in world history started as a peace project, and its future success depends on its ability to maintain peace,” Orbán wrote. “But today, instead of peace, the agenda is the pursuit of war; instead of defense it is offense. All this runs counter to NATO’s founding values. Hungary’s historical experience is that such transformations never lead in a good direction. The task today should be to preserve the alliance as a peace project.”

“Today ever more voices within NATO are making the case for the necessity—or even inevitability—of military confrontation with the world’s other geopolitical power centers,” Orbán wrote. “This perception of inevitable confrontation functions like a self-fulfilling prophecy. The more that NATO’s leaders believe conflict to be inevitable, the greater will be their role in precipitating it.”

The “self-fulfilling nature of this confrontation prophecy” is illustrated by the news that “preparations have begun for a possible NATO operation in Ukraine—and even high-level reports that troops from NATO member countries are already near the Ukrainian front”, Orbán wrote. Hungary would not participate in such efforts, he said, and has reached an agreement with NATO exempting it from its direct support efforts in Ukraine, whether military or financial.

“As a peace-loving nation, we understand NATO as a defensive alliance—which this agreement helps to ensure. Those who argue in favor of confrontation typically base their arguments on the military superiority of NATO and the Western world,” Orbán criticized.

“The great historian Arnold Toynbee argued that “Civilizations die from suicide, not by murder.” As the strongest military alliance the world has ever known, it is not defeat at the hands of any external enemy that we should fear. An external enemy, if it has any sense, will not dare to launch an attack on any NATO member country. But we should very much fear our own rejection of the values that gave birth to our alliance. The purpose for which NATO was created was to secure peace in the interest of stable economic, political, and cultural development. NATO fulfills its purpose when it wins peace, not war. If it chooses conflict instead of cooperation, and war instead of peace, it will be committing suicide,” he stated.

In his first public appearance since a May 30 assassination attempt, Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico commended Orbán’s attempts at mediation, Hungarian spokesman Zoltan Kovcas wrote. “Mr Fico expressed admiration for PM Orbán’s trips to Kyiv and Moscow to meet with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and Russian President Vladimir Putin, respectively. He emphasized that there cannot be enough peace initiatives to prevent the Ukraine war from escalating into a broader military conflict.”
