A new survey of Republican primary voters in Arizona’s 8th Congressional District has Blake Masters holding a one-point lead in the overall primary, with Abe Hamadeh in second place.

According to the poll conducted by Fabrizio, Lee & Associates, Masters is polling at 27 percent, while Hamadeh is in second with 26 percent. Ben Toma is third with 17 percent, and Trent Franks is fourth with 16 percent.

Most of Franks’ voters favor Masters over Hamadeh as their second choice should he drop out of the race. Masters would also absorb more of Toma’s voters than Hamadeh would.

The pollsters report:

“Ben Toma’s and Trent Franks’ presence in the race is a signficant hurdle for Blake Masters. At this stage in the race, with early voting having begun, neither Toma nor Franks can catch up and win. But they — and Trent Franks especially — are attracting many votes that would otherwise go to Masters over Hamadeh. When Franks’ voters were asked who their second choice was, a 39% plurality chose Blake Masters while just 10% chose Abe Hamadeh. Furthermore, in a head-to-head matchup, Franks’ voters pick Masters over Hamadeh by a resounding 65% – 17% margin. Those additional votes could be decisive in such a tight race.”

Blake is a Conservative, America First Republican who has vowed to protect the border and help fix the economy. He has vowed to protect the First and Second Amendments and “fight to protect the first unalienable right in our Declaration: Life. The unborn cannot speak for themselves, so we must speak for them. My faith, my family, and all of my life’s experiences teach me this. We must fight the culture of death and build a country that sees the intrinsic value of every life.”

Former President Donald Trump endorsed Blake’s previous senate run, but that endorsement went to Hamadeh for this race. Instead, Trump’s running mate, JD Vance, endorsed Masters.

Hamadeh was born to parents who were in the US illegally and has previously expressed support for mass amnesty — including defending the Schumer-backed “Gang of 8” amnesty bill, which passed the Senate in June 2013 but failed to pass the House. He has also claimed to be pro-life, but has a history of supporting abortion access.

While speaking at a forum in Sun City on February 20, 2024, Abe said that abortion regulation should be “left to the states” and that the federal government should not impose restrictions.

Masters and Hamadeh are competing for the seat currently held by Republican Rep. Debbie Lesko, who has announced that she will not seek re-election.

President Trump took the stage to thunderous applause in Grand Rapids, Michigan on Saturday at a MAGA rally.

This is the first rally for President Trump since the assassination attempt at the July 13th rally in Butler, Pennsylvania.

Tens of thousands of supporters came out to see him and Vice Presidential candidate J.D. Vance.

President Trump talked about the assassination attempt.

“It was exactly one week ago today almost to the hour, even to the minute,” Trump said.

Chants of “Fight, fight, fight!” broke out from the crowd.

“What a day it was. As I said earlier this week, I stand before you only by the grace of almighty God, that’s true. I shouldn’t be here. I shouldn’t be here,” Trump continued.

President Trump also paid tribute to Cory Comperatore, who died last week at the July 13th rally shielding his family from the would be assassin’s bullets.

“Cory was a hero and we will carry his memory in our hearts for all time. Great Hero,” Trump said.

JD Vance blasted Kamala Harris for questioning his loyalty to the United States.

“Kamala Harris said something to the effect that I have no loyalty to this country. Well, I don’t know Kamala, I did serve in the United States Marine Corp and built a business. What the hell have you done, other than collect a check?” JD Vance said.

“We have to give her credit my friends. She did serve as border czar during the biggest disaster open border that we have ever had in this country,” Vance continued.

Vance also kindly thanked the massive crowd for the support they have given to him and President Trump.

Former White House Physician, Congressman Ronny Jackson, has detailed the condition of Donald Trump following an assassination attempt that left the former president wounded but miraculously alive.

The Gateway Pundit previously reported that President Donald Trump confirmed in an interview with the New York Post that a part of his right ear was torn off during a recent assassination attempt.

During the interview with the Post, he was wrapped in a large, loose white bandage around his head. Photographs were not allowed during the interview.

Trump was en route to Milwaukee for the GOP National Convention on his private plane when he shared the harrowing details of the assassination attempt that nearly took his life.

Recall that President Trump told former White House physician Dr. Ronny Jackson that a last millisecond head tilt saved his life after a gunman opened fire on him from an elevated position at his Pennsylvania rally.

Eric Trump, the former president’s son, told CBS Mornings on Wednesday that the wound did not require stitches.

“He was millimeters away from having his life expunged,” Eric said, describing the injury as “the greatest earache he’s ever had,” but noted that no stitches were necessary.

On Saturday, former White House Physician to President Trump, Congressman Ronny Jackson also provided an update on the health of the former president.

On Wednesday, July 17, Eric Trump, aged 40, spoke to CBS Mornings and informed that his father did not require stitches after the shooting incident which resulted in him bleeding from the ear. He described the injury as “the greatest earache he’s ever had,” and added that his father was only millimeters away from losing his life.

Former White House Physician to President Trump, Congressman Ronny Jackson also provided an update on the health of the former president.

Jackson wrote:

“As the former appointed Physician to the President for President Donald J. Trump, I was naturally very concerned, as was the entire world, about his wellbeing after the assassination attempt on his life. As such, I met him in Bedminster, New Jersey, late that evening to personally check on him, and offer my assistance in any way possible.

I have been with President Trump since that time, and I have evaluated and treated his wound daily. He is doing well. As reported and witnessed by the entire world, he sustained a gunshot wound to the right ear from a high-powered rifle used by the would-be assassin.

The bullet passed, coming less than a quarter of an inch from entering his head, and struck the top of his right ear. The bullet track produced a 2 cm wide wound that extended down to the cartilaginous surface of the ear. There was initially significant bleeding, followed by marked swelling of the entire upper ear. The swelling has since resolved, and the wound is beginning to granulate and heal properly. Based on the highly vascular nature of the ear, there is still intermittent bleeding requiring a dressing to be in place. Given the broad and blunt nature of the wound itself, no sutures were required.

The President was initially treated by the medical staff at Butler Memorial Hospital in Butler, Pennsylvania, who did an excellent job of evaluating him and treating his wound. I want to thank them for their outstanding care. They provided a thorough evaluation for additional injuries that included a CT of his head. He will have further evaluations, including a comprehensive hearing exam, as needed. He will follow up with his primary care physician, as directed by the doctors that initially evaluated him.

In summary, former President Trump is doing well, and he is recovering as expected from the gunshot wound sustained last Saturday afternoon. I am extremely thankful his life was spared. It is an absolute miracle he wasn’t killed.

I am heading to the rally in Grand Rapids, Michigan with President Trump now, and I will remain at his side throughout the weekend to provide any medical assistance he needs. I plan to return to Washington, DC on Monday, and then I will return home to Amarillo, Texas at the conclusion of the week.”

JD Vance joined Trump in their first joint appearance on the campaign trail in the key battleground state of Michigan.

The rally is being held at Van Andel Arena which accommodates 12,000 people.

Supporters lined the street more than 8 hours before the rally was set to begin.

Joe Biden is reportedly fuming as he isolates at his Rehoboth Beach house following a so-called Covid diagnosis.

According to The New York Times and CBS News, Joe Biden is angry with Pelosi and Barack Obama as coordinated leaks aim to drive him out of the 2024 race.

Damaging leaks to the media are increasing as powerful Democrats are working behind the scenes to force Joe Biden out of the 2024 race.

According to a leak to NBC News, Biden’s family is discussing an exit plan for Joe Biden.

Biden is reportedly angry at Obama and Pelosi as they orchestrate the damaging leaks to the media.

New York Times reported that Biden sees Pelosi as the “instigator” and Barack Obama as “the puppet master behind the scenes.”

“Sick with Covid and abandoned by allies, President Biden has been fuming at his Delaware beach house, increasingly resentful about what he sees as an orchestrated campaign to drive him out of the race and bitter toward some of those he once considered close, including his onetime running mate Barack Obama,” The New York Times reported.

“Mr. Biden has been around politics long enough to assume that the leaks appearing in the media in recent days are being coordinated to raise the pressure on him to step aside, according to people close to him. He considers Representative Nancy Pelosi, the former House speaker, the main instigator, but is irritated at Mr. Obama as well, seeing him as a puppet master behind the scenes,” the Times reported.

CBS News’ Robert Costa also reported that Joe Biden is frustrated with Obama and Pelosi.

“President Biden is deeply frustrated in Delaware this weekend with those he perceives as unhelpful and who he believes are participating in an informal, somewhat slow-moving, misguided revolt against his candidacy,” Robert Costa said on Saturday.

Biden’s surrogates are desperate to take control of the narrative as Joe Biden convalesces at his Rehoboth Beach house.

They were working overtime on Friday to take control of the narrative and bat down leaks.

A Biden campaign email was sent out Friday morning: “Joe Biden has made it more than clear: He’s in this race and he’s in it to win it. Moreover, he’s the presumptive nominee — there is no plan for an alternative nominee. In a few short weeks, Joe Biden will be the official nominee.”

Desperate to stop spiraling, the Biden campaign also scheduled an emergency “all-hands meeting” as damaging leaks battered Joe Biden.

“The Biden For President campaign is calling an all-staff meeting for Friday. It’s heading into a critical weekend for the party as Republican Donald Trump wraps up a heady Republican National Convention in Milwaukee and Democrats, racing time, consider the extraordinary possibility of Biden stepping aside for a new presidential nominee before their own convention next month in Chicago.” – the AP reported.

Biden said he is excited to get back on the campaign trail next week.

For a party that cares so much about “saving democracy,” there has been little to no concern about President Trump’s safety from the Democrats.

Last Saturday President Trump was grazed in the ear after a 20-year-old gunman named Thomas Matthew Crooks climbed on a roof and took several shots at Trump and rallygoers in Butler, Pennsylvania.

One Trump supporter was fatally shot. Two other rallygoers were wounded, one critically.

A Senate briefing revealed the Secret Service identified Crooks as suspicious 10 minutes before Trump took the stage.

Thomas Matthew Crooks was seen bear crawling on the roof as bystanders pointed him out to law enforcement.

The Secret Service did not secure a roof next to Trump’s rally even though they identified it as a security vulnerability several days before the event.

Secret Service Director Kimberly Cheatle said agents didn’t man the roof because it was ‘sloped.’

Crooks also reportedly flew a drone over the Butler, Pennsylvania fairgrounds and got aerial footage of the layout shortly before Trump took the stage at last Saturday’s rally.

Nearly one week later we have no explanation from the Secret Service.

When asked by a reporter, Senator Bob Casey said that he was “not concerned” about the Secret Service and their leadership after the assassination attempt on President Trump.

“Are you concerned at all about the ability for the Secret Service to do its job effectively to protect candidates?” a reporter asked Senator Casey.

“Well, I’m not concerned that they don’t have the expertise and the resources, and if they need more resources, then they should come to us,” Senator Casey responded.

It is interesting to see how they would have responded if this had happened to a Democrat President instead. There would most likely have been a continual outcry from the Democrats and calls for gun control among other things.

In June, TGP had reported that Democrat rep Bennie Thompson wanted to strip President Trump of Secret Service protection if he was sent to prison after unjust charges brought up against him.

Donald Trump Jr had talked to Tucker Carlson in early June and had discussed that the radical left wanted President Trump dead. It was evident in Democrat rep Bennie Thompson’s proposal to pull Secret Service protection from President Trump.

The conflict in the Middle East is rapidly breaking outside the confines of Israel, as neighboring Yemen was pummeled with a major retaliatory strike on Saturday by Israeli forces after a suicide drone killed two citizens in downtown Tel Aviv.

Footage of the initial drone attack was shared online by social media users. It was captured by a citizen standing on the beach in downtown Tel Aviv – which lies on Israel’s Mediterranean coast – and shows a Houthi-launched drone speeding overhead before it disappeared into the city skyline. Moments later it connected with a building killing one and injuring ten others.

It is unclear how the drone flew undetected through Israel’s vaunted Iron Dome.

The suicide drone flew directly over the US embassy.

Following the strike, Israel responded by unleashing a hellish attack on the Houthi’s home country of Yemen.

According to an Israel Defense Forces statement, “A short while ago, IDF fighter jets struck military targets of the Houthi terrorist regime in the area of the Al Hudaydah Port in Yemen in response to the hundreds of attacks carried out against the State of Israel in recent months.”

Videos shared online show IDF forces bombarding the marked zones and the apocalyptic destruction that followed.

Early and unconfirmed reports claim that the IDF also struck one of the country’s largest oil refineries with around a dozen F-35 Raptors in a joint operation with US Forces. If this is true, this is a concerning escalation in regards to the United State’s involvement in the conflict.

The Times of Israel reported:

“The Al Arabiya outlet, citing unnamed sources, says the strike against the fuel depot and oil refineries at the port of Al-Hudaydah in Yemen, was carried out jointly by Israel, the US, and the UK. The report also claims that 12 Israeli aircraft, including F-35 fighter jets, participated in the attack.”
