“It was my greatest honor to serve as President Trump’s CIA director and Secretary of State,” Pompeo said. “There were no new American wars.” 

“We destroyed ISIS and its caliphate,” Pompeo continued. “The evil of Vladimir Putin was held at bay.”

Pompeo displayed a hawkishness that stood out from the GOP’s current trajectory, asserting that Americans are being held as hostages in Gaza by the “Iranian regime.”

On Wednesday night Madeline Brame, the mother of a military veteran, slammed Manhattan D.A. Alvin Bragg for the lawless streets of New York City.

District Attorney Alvin Bragg released criminals back on the street who murdered Madeline’s son in 2018.

Brame accused Bragg of being responsible for the death of her son, U.S. Army Sgt. Hason Correa, who was fatally stabbed in Harlem in 2018.

It was Bragg who did not bring those responsible for her son’s death to justice after he was elected.

Madeline Brame: My son, Sergeant Hason Correa, was an Afghanistan war retired veteran. He received enemy fire from the Taliban, only to be murdered with a knife on the streets of New York City. The four assailants responsible for his death initially were facing justice. But that changed when district attorney, Alvin Bragg, was elected. Suddenly, two of the homicidal maniacs responsible for my son’s death had their gang assault and murder charges completely dismissed.

I later learned that Alvin Bragg, he wants to clear the jails and return violent felons onto our streets every day.

I don’t want anyone else to experience the sense of pain that many other victims across this United States of America have to live with every day. So I decided to use the voice that God gave me to be the voice for the voiceless across America.

We need justice for victims, and we need accountability for prosecutors who fail in their duty like soft on crime prosecutors like Alvin Bragg in New York, Kim Fox in Chicago, and Gaston in Los Angeles have turned our great country and cities into war zones.

Who else in here is sick and tired of being sick and tired? The Democratic Party that poor minorities have been loyal to for decades, including myself, all right? They betrayed us. They stabbed us in the back. Joe Biden and Kamala Harris, who claimed to represent us, have abandoned us. They neglected the poor minorities communities across America.

But my eyes have been opened. Donald Trump shares our values, love of God and family and country. He’s been a victim of the same corrupt system that I have been and my family has been. Trump was right when he said, They’re after us. He’s just standing in the way. That’s why I’m standing with him today. Let’s make America safe again and re-elect our President Trump.

This is not something you see every day.

While in the Western world a divorce – even among Royalty – has become a common occurrence, in the Middle East things are much different.

And to talk about an Instagram post by a UAE princess (or Sheikha) declaring her divorce from her recent husband with whom she just had a baby girl – that’s unprecedented.

But that’s just what happened with the daughter of Dubai’s head of government.

The western-educated 30-year-old woman apparently has announced her divorce on social media – a mere two months after she welcomed a baby girl with her husband.

New York Post reported:

“In a post shared on the verified account of Her Highness Sheikha Mahra Bint Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the 30-year-old said she was ending her marriage to husband Sheikh Mana bin Mohammed bin Rashid bin Mana Al Maktoum.

There has been no official comment from the House of Maktoum, the royal family that rules Dubai and which Sheikha Mahra comes from.”

The post begins with what has widely been understood as a mention to infidelity by her husband: ‘Dear Husband, As you are occupied by other companions…’.

The sequence is nothing less than stunning: ‘I hereby declare our divorce, I divorce you, I divorce you, and I divorce you’.

“Sheikha Mahra’s repetition of the statement ‘I divorce you’ is seemingly her using the Islamic practice known as triple talaq, [a practice that] allows husbands to swiftly divorce their wives by saying ‘I divorce you’ three times.”

The princess ends her message with ‘Take care. Your ex-wife’ – to the dismay of many in the Emirate.

Many residents go as far in their coping as to suggest that Sheikha Mahra’s account may have been hacked.

“Under UAE law, a Muslim male may have four wives, provided he offers equal sustenance and equal treatment to all.

Sheikha Mahra is the daughter of Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the ruler of Dubai and the prime minister of the UAE, making him the head of his nation’s government.”

The princess graduated from a London university in 2023, as is a strong advocate for women’s rights.

Golf star Tiger Woods has a lot on his plate these days.

But is he resorting to painkillers to deal with it?

That’s the rather invasive question one golf announcer wondered aloud on Thursday — and the moment has gone viral.

In the video, Woods, who is competing in the 152nd British Open, is seen walking on the Royal Troon course in Scotland.

The announcer, identified as Mark Roe by the U.K.’s Daily Mail, then commented on the appearance of his eyes.

“You look at the eyes, you got to think that there’s a lot of painkillers being taken to cope with the pain, you know?” he said in a seemingly offhand comment.

The remark immediately caught the attention of social media, which broadly blasted the comments as insensitive and cruel.

The charitable interpretation from social media is that Roe was referring to painkiller use in the context of the injuries from which Woods has battled back.

The noncharitable interpretation is that it was a below-the-belt shot at the golf star’s 2017 DUI arrest in Florida, where painkillers were found in his system.

Another reason Woods’ eyes might have appeared sunken or didn’t look right? A lack of sleep.

In an interview with BBC Sport published Tuesday, he said the attempted assassination of former President Donald Trump left a lasting physical impression on him.

(The two men have a well-documented friendship that predates Trump’s presidency. Trump also bestowed a Presidential Medal of Freedom on the golf star in 2019.)

“I didn’t accomplish a lot because I wasn’t in the right frame of mind,” Woods told the outlet about his poor practice outing.

The assassination attempt happened while Woods was flying from Florida to Scotland on Saturday.

Woods said that instead of sleeping on his transcontinental flight, he stayed up, worried and watching coverage like many Americans.

“It was a long night [because of the assassination attempt] and that’s all we watched the entire time on the way over here,” he said.

“I didn’t sleep at all on the flight, and then we just got on the golf course.”

Lawyers for Hunter Biden on Thursday asked two federal judges – one in California – and one in Delaware – to dismiss the criminal cases against him.

Hunter Biden is currently facing federal tax fraud charges in California.

In December Hunter Biden was hit with a 9-count indictment filed in the Central District of California: Tax evasion, failure to file/pay taxes, and false/fraudulent tax return.

The indictment was handed down by Special Counsel David Weiss after a sweetheart plea deal on tax charges fell apart last summer.

In September Hunter Biden was indicted on federal gun charges. He was indicted in a Delaware court on three counts related to his possession of a firearm while using drugs.

Prosecutors proved that Hunter Biden was smoking crack when he purchased a firearm in 2018.

Last month jurors returned a verdict in Hunter Biden’s criminal gun trial after three hours of deliberations – GUILTY OF ALL THREE FELONIES!

Hunter Biden is facing 25 years in prison in the Delaware gun case.

Hunter’s lawyers filed motions in two federal courts citing Judge Cannon’s ruling on her decision to toss Jack Smith’s classified documents case and Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas’ opinion.

Judge Cannon dismissed Jack Smith’s case based on both unconstitutional elements: The appointment by US Attorney Merrick Garland and the unlimited funding given to Jack Smith – both without the approval of Congress.

Hunter’s lawyers argued that David Weiss, a US Attorney from Delaware, was improperly appointed as special counsel.

Lawyers for Hunter Biden on Thursday asked federal judges in California and Delaware to dismiss the criminal cases against him in their courts, citing a recent opinion by Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas and the related dismissal this week of the criminal classified documents case against former President Donald Trump.

Biden’s lawyers in motions filed in both courts pointed to those two opinions — which questioned the legality of the appointment of special counsel Jack Smith to prosecute Trump — in arguing that the appointment of U.S. Attorney David Weiss as special counsel for prosecutions of the son of President Joe Biden was unconstitutional.

The motions follow the ruling Monday by Florida federal court Judge Aileen Cannon tossing out Smith’s prosecution of Trump over his retention of classified documents after leaving the White House. Cannon ruled that Smith’s appointment as special counsel violated the Appointments Clause of the U.S. Constitution.

Forgiato Blow: I got a brand new song that just came out today called Teflon Trump.  Look, man, Teflon, anything they’re trying to do to Trump, he keeps winning.  He keeps fighting through it.  I mean, look, they’re trying to get him off ballots.  They’re trying to indict him.  They’re trying to take his money.  They’re trying to lock him up.  They’re trying to blame him for January 6th.  Now they’re trying to kill him at his own rallies, you know what I mean?  Like, what’s next?  I don’t know what’s next.  They’re going to do whatever they can do to try to keep him and, you know, push him away from his goals, his dreams, his aspirations.  But he’s so far focused and gone to what’s going on, I don’t think nothing can stop him.

Cara: On Twitter, there’s a lot of videos of a lot of people, sort of a lot of minorities, really, even more than before, if that’s possible, saying they support Trump because of the way he reacted, the way he fell and he jumped back up after that bullet.

Forgiato Blow: Well, yeah, I mean, you hit it right on the head. I mean, the African-American community is in with Trump 1,000 percent like they were in 2016. 2020, they ran with this narrative that he’s racist, and I blame the fake news for that.  You know, it’s like the shootings and stuff like that. The media has a lot to do with that, too, because they can put out whatever they want to put out about Donald Trump. If it’s not real, or if it’s fake, that’s one of your old kids who lost his life. You know, he might have read something that wasn’t even true about Donald Trump. You never know. There are so many people out here that I talk to, you know; I even bring up Joe Biden. I’m like, well, he’s been in politics forever. They’re like, well, he just came in after Trump. I’m like, no, he was Obama’s VP. They don’t even know this type of stuff, you know, and people need to get more educated on what’s going on out here. But I think, you know, obviously getting indicted was a big thing for Trump. They brought the hood out, they brought the streets out; people being like, ‘Yo, Trump’s a gangster.’ “

The left-wing former tennis star Martina Navratilova has suggested Donald Trump’s ear bandage is a PR stunt.

Posting on the X platform where she has a Black Lives Matter hashtag in her profile, the 67-year-old Czech-American cast doubt on the need for Trump to wear an ear bandage after he was nearly assassinated at a rally in Pennsylvania over the weekend.

“A good friend of mine is the charge nurse (Level IV FNP) at a major trauma center in a huge city,” one user posted “She says there’s absolutely no need to dress an ear wound like this unless half his ear was blown off. And even then, it wouldn’t look like this.”

“Of course- this is obviously a PR stunt- the day after the shooting he had no dressing on his ear… not even a band-Aid,” Navratilova responded.

Such sentiments were also shared by Star Wars actor Mark Hamill, who claimed that Trump’s bandage was “ludicrously oversized” and ultimately all for show.

Speaking out those mocking his father’s injury, Donald Trump’s eldest son Donald Trump Jr. said it was another obvious case of Trump Derangement Syndrome.

“He wasn’t shot in the face enough for them. It wasn’t enough?” Trump Jr told Fox News on Wednesday. “That’s the point. They can’t help themselves. The Trump Derangement Syndrome is real. It’s so asinine that they could say that… You see the photograph at the time. There’s blood everywhere.”

President Trump, during a private speech at the Republican National Convention, shared God was with him during his rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, where he survived an assassination attempt.

In the video, Trump told a group of supporters at the RNC, “You say how did that happen? But I got lucky; God was with me. I tell you.”

Trump continued, “And I think, honestly, I think you appreciate God even more. Really do.”

“It wasn’t like it was a complete miss; it’s pretty terrible that that can happen,” added Trump.

Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer and House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries quietly convinced the DNC to delay its presidential nomination vote.

The Democrat National Committee said Wednesday they won’t hold their virtual roll call vote before August which leaves room for a coup.

According to Mark Halperin, Biden is not expected to endorse Kamala Harris. He will not resign the presidency.

Halperin said there will be an open convention with Kamala Harris and about three others. He floated a couple of potential running mates for Harris: Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear and PA Gov. Josh Shapiro.

While discussing the increasing calls for Joe Biden to withdraw his bid for the 2024 presidential nomination, CNN’s Jake Tapper compared him to a famous movie character who does not realize that he is dead until the film’s end.

The leftist anchor made the brutal comparison on Thursday’s episode of The Lead.

“Meanwhile, events no less momentous are playing out in Delaware where President Biden is self-isolating after testing positive for Covid, we’re told,” Tapper said.

Tapper continued, “To hear top Democrats tell it, President Biden is like Bruce Willis’ character in the movie The Sixth Sense. He is the only one who seems unaware of his grim fate.”

In the film, Willis plays a character named Malcolm Crowe, who is completely unaware that he is dead until the end.

“Former President Obama has told allies recently that Biden’s chances of winning have greatly diminished,” Tapper continued. “Interesting choice of words.”

The calls for Biden to withdraw mainly come from his party’s top leaders.

On Thursday, it was reported that former President Barack Obama has been expressing his concern about the viability of his candidacy to fellow Democrat leaders.

The Washington Post reported on Thursday:

Former president Barack Obama has told allies in recent days that President Biden’s path to victory has greatly diminished and he thinks the president needs to seriously consider the viability of his candidacy, according to multiple people briefed on his thinking.

According to reports, Senate Democratic Leader Chuck Schumer privately asked Biden to withdraw on Saturday. His meeting came about a week after former Speaker Nancy Pelosi expressed her concerns about him staying in the race.

House Democratic Leader Hakeem Jeffries has also reportedly expressed his concerns directly to Biden, and Rep. Adam Schiff joined the chorus on Wednesday.

“President Biden has been one of the most consequential presidents in our nation’s history, and his lifetime of service as a Senator, a Vice President, and now as President has made our country better. But our nation is at a crossroads,” Schiff told the Los Angeles Times. “A second Trump presidency will undermine the very foundation of our democracy, and I have serious concerns about whether the President can defeat Donald Trump in November.”

Schiff told the Times that the “choice to withdraw from the campaign is President Biden’s alone,” but he is urging Biden “to pass the torch” and “secure his legacy of leadership” by stepping aside for someone who can beat Trump.

The congressman told the newspaper that he would support whoever is the nominee, even if it remains Biden.

Biden has continued to insist that he is not willing to step aside.
