Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth reversed the DEI-triggered name change of a North Carolina military base in Fayetteville, renaming Fort Liberty back to Fort Bragg.

In 2023, former President Joe Biden changed the name as part of a sweeping initiative to rename military bases named after Confederate leaders.

The move was one of many cowardly actions Biden took to bend the knee to Black Lives Matter mobs who rioted nationwide in the wake of the 2020 death of George Floyd.

Previously, the base was named after Confederate General Braxton Bragg.

On Monday, Hegseth changed the name back to Fort Bragg, but in honor of a different Bragg.

“The new name pays tribute to Pfc. Roland L. Bragg, a World War II hero who earned the Silver Star and Purple Heart for his exceptional courage during the Battle of the Bulge,” Pentagon press secretary John Ullyot said in a statement.

“Bragg is back!” the Defense Secretary declared in an X post Monday after signing the directive.

Just to underscore how wasteful performative leftist cancel culture is, it cost taxpayers $8 million to rename Fort Bragg, according to the New York Post.

On the campaign trail last year, President Donald Trump vowed to reverse Biden’s absurd name change.

“Should we turn the name Fort Liberty, back to Fort Bragg?” Trump asked attendees at a MAGA rally in North Carolina in October 2024.

“Right, so here’s what we do: We get elected, I’m doing it,” he promised.

The BLM-fueled renaming frenzy — as well as the group’s disgraceful destruction of historical monuments — was part of an insidious crusade to erase American history.

For Columbus Day, leftist rioters vandalized the Abraham Lincoln statue outside the Chicago History Museum. Though Lincoln is regarded as one of the greatest American leaders for his role in leading the Union during the Civil War, leftists now call him a white supremacist.

Brainwashed students at a U.S. military school in Germany have protested against a visit by Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth.

Accoridng to The Washington Post, students at the Patch Middle School in Stuttgart walked out of class for nearly an hour in protest of Hegseth and the Trump administration’s policy if terminating all Diversity, Equity (DEI) and Inclusion initiatives.

Elon Musk joined President Trump in the Oval Office Tuesday and took questions from reporters for the first time about his efforts to cut waste, fraud, and abuse from the federal government budget with the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE).

President Trump signed the “Implementing the President’s ‘Department of Government Efficiency’ Workforce Optimization Initiative” executive order, meant to “restore accountability to the American public.”

The order also appoints “DOGE Team Leads” to create monthly hiring reports for agencies as agency heads “promptly undertake preparations to initiate large-scale reductions in force.”

In addition to the billions of dollars being funneled through USAID, Elon Musk revealed more bombshell discrepancies the DOGE team has discovered in their limited audit of government systems.

Early in the press conference, President Trump lambasted the “billions and billions of dollars in waste, fraud, and abuse,” adding that this is “one of the reasons I got elected.”

He continued, “It seems hard to believe that judges want to try and stop us from looking for corruption, especially when we found hundreds of millions of dollars worth–much more than that–in just a short period of time… Maybe we have to look at the judges because I think it’s a very serious violation.”

As The Gateway Pundit reported, Obama-appointed Judge Paul A. Engelmayer is already facing impeachment efforts after he issued an ex parte temporary restraining order that restricted access to Treasury systems exclusively to “civil servants,” explicitly excluding “all political appointees” from accessing these systems.

Unlike the unelected bureaucrats and radical left politicians spending all this money, President Trump and Elon Musk campaigned on this issue, and they were 100% transparent with his plans to audit the federal government with DOGE.

It’s highly suspicious, to say the least, that they’re under fire from partisan judges and Democrats for exposing the corruption in government after President Trump was duly elected to do exactly what he’s doing.

Musk later revealed some of his findings, including likely dead people receiving Social Security at 150 years old. This is clearly fraud.

Musk: There’s crazy things, like just a cursory examination of Social Security, and we’ve got people in there that are 150 years old. Now, do you know anyone that’s 150? I don’t, okay? They should be in the Guinness Book of World Records; they’re missing out. So, you know, that’s a case where like I think they’re probably dead. That’s my guess. Or they should be very famous, one of the two.

He also discovered that despite making middle-class wages in their government positions, “quite a few” of the government bureaucrats are becoming multi-millionaires, likely “at the taxpayers’ expense,” says Musk.

Musk: We do find it sort of odd that there are quite a few people in the bureaucracy who have ostensibly a salary of a few hundred thousand dollars but somehow manage to accrue tens of millions of dollars in net worth while they are in that position, which is what happened to USAID. We’re just curious as to where it came from. Maybe they’re just very good at investing in which case we should take their investment advice perhaps. But it seems to be mysteriously they get wealthy, and we don’t know why. Where does it come from? And I think that the reality is they’re getting wealthy at the taxpayers’ expense. That’s the honest truth of it.

It’s no wonder why the Democrats are terrified of DOGE and the corruption Elon Musk has already uncovered.

An EPA advisor was exposed in a Project Veritas undercover video admitting that the agency rushed to allocate billions of taxpayer dollars to climate change initiatives just before President Donald Trump’s inauguration.

Brent Efron, a special advisor at the EPA and instrumental in implementing Biden’s climate agenda, spoke to a Project Veritas operative about the rush to disburse funds two months before Trump’s inauguration.

“Now it’s how to get the money out as fast as possible before they [Trump Administration] come in … It truly feels like we’re on the Titanic or throwing gold bar off the top edge.,” Efron said.

Under the Biden administration’s Inflation Reduction Act, which Efron referred to as “Biden’s climate law,” over $100 billion was allocated for various environmental projects.

Efron detailed how the EPA is scrambling to ensure these funds are committed to projects, including those initially planned for a Kamala Harris presidency.

“The thing that we haven’t funded yet are [sic] the local nonprofit program that was going to be an inter-Kamala Harris administration program… so now we’re getting it [funding] out as quick as possible. It’s like two billion at this point, we’ve got most of it out – like 90%.”

He further disclosed that the EPA plans to continue this funding rush until the very last minute on Inauguration Day.

The strategy involves channeling funds through nonprofits, which Efron described as an “insurance policy” against a Trump administration that might seek to defund or repeal these initiatives.

“We gave them [nonprofits, states, tribes] the money because… it was an insurance policy against Trump winning. Because they aren’t [a government agency], they’re safer from Republicans taking the money away.”

Efron also discusses the EPA’s strategy of using nonprofits as a shield against Republican policies, and hints at the potential personal benefits awaiting him post-tenure.

“Over the last year we’ve given out $50 billion dollars for climate things…so to go work for one of these places would be really cool.”

Newly appointed EPA chief Lee Zeldin, a former New York Congressman and a staunch ally of Trump, releases his statement in response to the scandal.

Utah Senator Mike Lee also weighed in on the situation via X.

“The U.S. government is actively working to undermine the American people. We’ve empowered Washington to the point that it’s become dangerous and destructive. It’s too big, too expensive, and too powerful. We must return to constitutional government,” he wrote.

Named after Zionist banker Zalman David Levontin, Levontin Street is a leafy enclave home to a mix of historic Bauhaus buildings, amongst modern gentrified condos, trendy cafes, boutique hotels and a blend of Tel Aviv’s heritage and contemporary urban culture.

There is a peaceful, tender moment in a Tel Aviv Saturday morning that completely contradicts the usual bustling noise of everyday life.

The Shabbat is a separation of the week, regardless of your secular or religious belonging. It is the day of rest for the entire Jewish State.

The quiet is a welcome respite in a place densely absorbed in the stress that comes within the heart of a city in the center of Israel, especially in these times.

That idyllic peace was interrupted by the indistinguishable “pop pop” of gunfire just beneath the balcony of the Levontin flat where moments before a young couple indulged the beginning of the day in the quiet of a morning coffee out on the balcony overlooking the street.

As my 20-year-old son was sorting out his wardrobe for a semester abroad in Italy, a 19-year-old Palestinian from the West Bank village of Tulkarm walked up to the Levontin cafe and started stabbing a random bystander in what would be acknowledged as a terrorist attack.

The assailant dashed for another attack and he was taken down by an armed civilian.

As a parent of an IDF soldier on reserve duty, the last place I needed to worry about was this quiet street lined with Sycamore and Ficus trees.

Neither was the 30-year-old victim of the stabbing, a reservist having just returned from months of military duty in the north waiting to enjoy a morning with friends.

Though it may seem so from the outside looking in, there is nothing random about this attack or the assailant. There never is.

Just as there is nothing random about January 1, 2025, when Shamsud-Din Jabbar, a 42-year-old U.S. Army veteran from Texas, carried out a terrorist attack on Bourbon Street in New Orleans. World’s apart and yet much more related than anyone would prefer to acknowledge.

Let’s deconstruct.

A fragile ceasefire and hostage release deal confirmed with the Iranian regime’s terrorist-backed proxy Hamas whereby we saw the release of three Israeli women kidnapped and held hostage in Gaza for 471 days.

In exchange, Israel would release 90 dangerous offenders. This is the first lot of several detainees in what will become a painful exchange under these sham negotiations that are once again another example of the impossible situation Israel is placed in.

Hours before the Levontin terror stabbing, Israel is under attack as 2 inter ballistic missiles are launched from Yemen compliments of the Houthi, a terror proxy, very much like Hamas that is controlled by Iran.

It is material to recognize that a terror attack or a truce with Hamas does not go down without the consent of the Iranian regime and the funding of Qatar, who, in a twist of the perverse, is negotiating for the hostage release.

Why then would the proxies of terror taunt and work to derail the ceasefire and hostage deal? Very simply, it’s all about leverage.

Peace does not further the cause of Iran – the further escalation of violence does. Iran’s primary objective is to continue to victimize the Palestinian people to detract from their Nuclear ambitions.

A peace deal does not work for their end game of Global Jihad.

The young man from Tulkarm who was likely dropped off inside of Tel Aviv, knife in hand, with specific instructions knew he was going to die that morning.

He also knew that his family would be paid handsomely by the Palestinian pay-for-slay policy of the Fatah movement, very likely supported with money from Qatar.

Every terrorist’s family receives a lifetime pension for their sacrifice in the cause of the “resistance”, this is why you see mothers celebrating in the street and candies being handed out – within moments of the news of his death posters, pre-produced of the “Shahid” will be on placards, glorifying their child’s sacrifice.

And who is this boy? I can almost guarantee he likely suffers from developmental mental health issues, is disenfranchised, and is socially rejected.

He is used as a pawn in a conflict he knows nothing about. The terrorist is not a lone actor.

He is identified and groomed, brought before some secretive brigade the evening before and given the exact directions of what to do. It is his day now. The young man is manipulated into believing that he is doing God’s will with the idea of everlasting martyrdom.

The suicide brigade is receiving instructions from someone higher up in the chain of command.

The Levontin terrorist attack is not a singular event by a lone wolf. What is happening on the streets of Tel Aviv, and the streets of New Orleans is connected – the result is the martyrdom by someone who is convinced to carry this out a suicidal act. These terrorists are inventories in the waiting. That is what Jihadism is about.

With President Trump’s new Presidency and the much-needed win for the return of Israeli hostages, the stakes are high. Iran wants to derail this deal and embarrass the President.

Unfortunately, the headcount does not stop here, Iran will pull out the stops to distract from their nuclear ambitions.

The victory is not sweet enough that these terrorists have been given a seat at the table, they are lovers of death and they are meeting the lovers of life on a battlefield that we are unprepared for.

The world has gone MAD, and the sooner we recognize the true deconstruction the sooner we can deal with the antidote to terrorism.

Paul Martin, the inspector general at the USAID was fired on Tuesday just one day after his office released a report blasting the Trump Administration for working to gut the agency, according to CNN.

Martin, a Biden holdover, was terminated effective immediately.

NBC News also confirmed the firing.

“On behalf of President Donald J. Trump, I am writing to inform you that your position as Inspector General of the United States Agency for International Development is terminated, effective immediately,” Trent Morse, deputy director of the Office of Presidential Personnel, said to Paul Martin in an email obtained by NBC News. “Thank you for your service.”

CNN reported:

The inspector general of the US Agency for International Development was fired on Tuesday, a day after his office released a report critical of the Trump administration’s efforts to dismantle the agency, a source familiar with the matter told CNN.

Paul Martin was informed by an email from the deputy director of the Office of Presidential Personnel on Tuesday evening that his position as inspector general of USAID was “terminated, effective immediately.”

A spokesperson for the USAID Office of Inspector General confirmed Martin’s termination and said no reason was given for his ouster. CNN has reached out to the White House for comment.

President Donald Trump has taken decisive action against the far-left Associated Press (AP) to counteract the fake news media’s refusal to acknowledge the administration’s directives.

This comes after the AP blatantly ignored an executive order renaming the Gulf of Mexico to the “Gulf of America.”

On Sunday, while traveling to the Super Bowl aboard Air Force One, President Trump not only changed the name of this vast body of water but also declared February 9, 2025, as the inaugural “Gulf of America Day.”

The executive order reads:

“I took this action in part because, as stated in that Order, “[t]he area formerly known as the Gulf of Mexico has long been an integral asset to our once burgeoning Nation and has remained an indelible part of America.”

Today, I am making my first visit to the Gulf of America since its renaming.  As my Administration restores American pride in the history of American greatness, it is fitting and appropriate for our great Nation to come together and commemorate this momentous occasion and the renaming of the Gulf of America.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, DONALD J. TRUMP, President of the United States of America, by virtue of the authority vested in me by the Constitution and the laws of the United States, do hereby proclaim February 9, 2025, as Gulf of America Day.  I call upon public officials and all the people of the United States to observe this day with appropriate programs, ceremonies, and activities.”

However, the far-left AP has resisted Trump’s executive order.

In response, the Trump administration took a stand, barring an AP reporter from covering Elon Musk’s visit to the White House.

“Today our AP White House reporter was denied access to the Oval Office because the Associated Press recognizes the international body of water on our southern coastline as the Gulf of Mexico, while acknowledging President Donald Trump’s order to rename it the Gulf of America,” said AP Pentagon Correspondent Tara Copp.

Moreover, President Trump has also reinstated the name “Mount McKinley” for North America’s tallest peak, reversing Obama’s nod to Native Alaskan traditions by calling it Denali.

Trump’s order only carries authority within the United States. Mexico, as well as other countries and international bodies, do not have to recognize the name change.

The Gulf of Mexico has carried that name for more than 400 years. The Associated Press will refer to it by its original name while acknowledging the new name Trump has chosen. As a global news agency that disseminates news around the world, the AP must ensure that place names and geography are easily recognizable to all audiences.

The AP regularly reviews its style guidance regarding name changes, in part to ensure its guidance reflects common usage. We’ll continue to apply that approach to this guidance and make updates as needed.

There are other examples where the AP refers to a geographical place by more than one name. For example, the Gulf of California is sometimes referred to as the Sea of Cortez. The U.S. government has designated that body of water as the Gulf of California, while Mexico recognizes it as the Sea of Cortez.

President Trump also signed an executive order to revert the name of North America’s tallest peak, Denali in Alaska, to Mount McKinley. Former President Barack Obama changed the official name to Denali in 2015 to reflect the traditions of Alaska Natives as well as the preference of many Alaska residents. Trump said in his executive order that he wanted to “restore the name of a great president, William McKinley, to Mount McKinley.”

The Associated Press will use the official name change to Mount McKinley. The area lies solely in the United States and as president, Trump has the authority to change federal geographical names within the country.

The AP Stylebook will be updated to reflect both decisions.”

On Tuesday, the First Circuit Court of Appeals denied the Trump Administration’s latest attempt to freeze federal funding.

The appeals court denied Trump’s motion for stay pending appeal without prejudice related to an Obama judge’s order barring freezing spending.

The case will likely head to the Supreme Court next.

On Monday, the US District Judge of the District Court for the District of Rhode Island, John McConnell, an Obama appointee, accused President Trump of violating his court order and blocking his federal funding freeze.

Last month, Judge McConnell temporarily blocked Trump’s freeze on federal funding in response to a request from 22 Democrat state attorneys general and DC.

Trump’s Office of Management and Budget (OMB) previously put a temporary pause of agency grant, loan and other financial assistance programs.

“The American people elected Donald J. Trump to be President of the United States and gave him a mandate to increase the impact of every federal taxpayer dollar. In Fiscal Year 2024,of the nearly $10 trillion that the Federal Government spent, more than $3 trillion was Federal financial assistance, such as grants and loans,” the OMB said.

“This memorandum requires Federal agencies to identify and review all Federal financial assistance programs and supporting activities consistent with the President’s policies and requirements,” the OMB memo said.

On Monday, Judge McConnell accused Trump of failing to comply with his court order.

“The States have presented evidence in this motion that the Defendants in some cases have continued to improperly freeze federal funds and refused to resume disbursement of appropriated federal funds,” McConnell wrote, NBC News reported.
