The hotly contested North Carolina Supreme Court race is now in federal court awaiting a ruling from a Trump-appointed judge.
The North Carolina Supreme Court earlier this month ruled that most of the 65,000 questionable ballots must count in the hotly contested judicial race.
The North Carolina Supreme Court race headed for a recount due to a close final tally as the Democrat pulled ahead two weeks after Election Day.
Democrat incumbent Sarah Riggs closed the race with 2,770,818 votes to GOP challenger Jefferson Griffin’s 2,770,193 votes.
The race went to a recount since the vote difference is fewer than 10,000 votes.
Republican Griffin was leading the race until all of a sudden Democrat Riggs overcame her opponent weeks after the election.
In January, the North Carolina Supreme Court in a 5-1 vote blocked the state from certifying Democrat incumbent justice Allison Riggs as the winner of the race as her GOP opponent, Jefferson Griffin, challenges the election.
The North Carolina Court of Appeals previously ruled that approximately 65,000 ballots — cast by voters with incomplete registration information, missing photo identification, or submitted by individuals who have never lived in North Carolina — may be invalid under state and federal election law.
The 2-1 decision was authored by Judges John Tyson and Fred Gore, both registered Republicans. Judge Tobias Hampson, a Democrat, dissented.
A couple of weeks ago the state’s high court ruled 4-2 that most of the challenged ballots must be counted.
Because the race is so close, even if a small percent of the questionable ballots are tossed out, Republican candidate Griffin can overcome the Democrat and win.
According to Carolina Coast Online, several parties submitted briefs to Judge Myers last Friday.
“Griffin urges Myers to reject requests from Riggs, the elections board, and other interested parties to throw out the cure process. His lawyers emphasized state courts’ role in addressing a dispute for an election to a state office,” Carolina Coast Online reported.
Democrat Riggs called Griffin’s election protest “unconstitutional” in her brief.
This case has been bouncing around between state and federal courts for several months.
And now we await a ruling from US Chief District Judge Richard Myers.
The Trump-appointed federal judge said he will issue a ruling “as soon as possible.”

The next major development in North Carolina’s unresolved 2024 state Supreme Court election is likely to depend on a ruling from a federal trial judge. There’s no deadline for his decision, though he has pledged to act “as soon as practicable.”
Monday marks the deadline for final written briefs addressed to US Chief District Judge Richard Myers. Myers’ court orders have indicated that he plans no oral arguments in the dispute pitting Republican candidate Jefferson Griffin against the State Board of Elections and Democrat Allison Riggs.
So observers of the nearly six-month legal battle over Riggs’ state Supreme Court seat will watch and wait for a decision from Myers’ courtroom.

In yet another sad blow to the will of the people, Romania’s High Court of Cassation and Justice (ICCJ) has ruled to overturn a courageous decision by a local judge that sought to reinstate the annulled 2024 presidential election—an election originally won by the conservative, anti-globalist candidate Călin Georgescu.
The nation’s top court sided, unsurprisingly, with the entrenched political establishment, affirming that the Court of Appeal in Ploiești (CAP), Prahova County, had “no jurisdiction” over decisions made by the Constitutional Court (CCR). The ruling is final: a full election re-run will proceed on May 4, with a second ballot on May 18.
This comes after a stunning but short-lived victory for democracy on April 24, when the Ploiești Court of Appeal, responding to a petition by private citizen Gheorghiţa Popescu, issued a provisional, enforceable ruling to annul the CCR’s December 6 decision.
Judge Alexandru Vasile, standing against the tide, justified his ruling by accusing the CCR of “abusively” interpreting the law and acting ex officio—without a formal complaint, a direct violation of judicial neutrality.
Judge Vasile cited the Venice Commission Report, a key European legal opinion, which cautions that, “the power of constitutional courts to invalidate elections ex officio, if any, should be limited to exceptional and clearly regulated circumstances, in order to preserve voters’ confidence in their legitimacy.” He also noted that the CCR’s December decision had come well after all legal deadlines to contest the election had expired, and, even worse, after Romanians abroad had already begun voting.
As it did following the first round presidential election, the establishment wasted no time in crushing this popular uprising. The High Court’s ruling emphasized procedural technicalities rather than the substance of Vasile’s arguments, brushing aside concerns about voters’ faith in the electoral system. Romania’s Superior Council of Magistracy has even opened an investigation into Judge Vasile, threatening disciplinary action for daring to question the regime.
Meanwhile, the regime media parrots the official line, emphasizing that intelligence documents declassified by Romanian security services accuse Georgescu of receiving so-called “illegal financing” and claimed that the Russian Federation carried out ‘hybrid actions’ during the election—vague accusations without concrete evidence, typical of the globalist playbook to discredit nationalist movements across Europe.
Călin Georgescu, a nationalist who won the most votes in the November 24 election, was barred from running again after the Constitutional Court’s political intervention. Following the CCR’s dubious ruling, over 130 lawsuits were filed across Romania between April 8 and 17 challenging the decision. Though courts systematically dismissed most cases, the grassroots surge led by Georgescu’s supporters, and organized on TikTok by retired judge Lacramioara Axinte, reflects a growing popular fury at the regime’s betrayal of democratic norms.
Despite nearly 150 legal challenges, the Romanian deep state clings to its narrative. The puppet government is pressing ahead with its plans for a controlled re-election, having already scheduled the repeat votes for May 4th, 2025.
The lesson is clear: whenever nationalist movements surge through the ballot box, the globalist establishment will do whatever it takes—no matter how legally dubious or politically toxic—to maintain its iron grip on power.

After a much-fought electoral campaign that revolved around Donald J. Trump’s tariffs and his statements about turning it into the 51st US state, Canadians went out to vote in the snap election that will determine who will become the country’s next prime minister.

Both Conservatives and Liberals vow to maintain some form of retaliatory tariffs.
“Mark Carney says Liberals will shift to targeted tariffs designed to maximize pain on the US while limiting harm on Canada. The parties are also looking to help the economy to handle any turbulence.”
As the country awaits the results, the Elections Canada website is experiencing trouble, with some users unable to access the site. It’s unclear exactly what caused the website to go down.

Pakistan’s defence minister said on Monday that a military incursion by neighbouring India is “imminent” following a deadly militant attack on tourists in Kashmir last week, as tensions rise between the two nuclear-armed nations.
The attack killed 26 people and triggered outrage in Hindu-majority India, along with calls for action against Muslim-majority Pakistan.
India accuses Pakistan of backing militancy in Kashmir, a disputed region both claim the countries have fought two wars over.
“We have reinforced our forces because it is something which is imminent now. So in that situation some strategic decisions have to be taken, so those decisions have been taken,” Defence Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif said in an interview with Reuters.

Asif said India’s rhetoric was ramping up and that Pakistan’s military had briefed the government on the possibility of an Indian attack.
He did not go into further details on his reasons for thinking an incursion was imminent.
India has said it has arrested two suspected militants were Pakistani, while Islamabad has denied any role and called for an external investigation.
Asif, who is a member Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz party that has historically pursued peace talks with India, added that they would only use their nuclear weapons arsenal “there is a direct threat to our existence.”
The minister added that Islamabad had approached its allies in order ot brief them on the situation.
“Some of our friends in the Arabian Gulf have talked to both sides,” Asif said, without naming the countries.
China said on Monday it hoped for restraint and welcomed all measures to cool down the situation. Asif said the United States was thus far “staying away” from intervening in the matter.
Meanwhile, President Trump said last week India and Pakistan would figure out relations between themselves, but the State Department later said Washington was in touch with both sides, urging them to work towards a “responsible solution.”
India and Pakistan have been bitter rivals since their partition in 1947, fighting three wars and numerous skirmishes, mainly over Kashmir.
Both nations became nuclear powers in 1998 and today maintain sizable arsenals.
India is estimated to have around 160 nuclear warheads, while Pakistan holds roughly 170, with both sides developing increasingly advanced delivery systems, makeing any military escalation between them especially dangerous.

Another day, another attack on Elon Musk’s DOGE team.
NPR, citing two anonymous sources, reported that two DOGE workers gained accounts on classified networks with nuclear secrets.
The networks are used by the National Security Administration (NNSA) in the Department of Energy (DOE).
“Two members of Elon Musk’s Department of Government Efficiency have been given accounts on classified networks that hold highly guarded details about America’s nuclear weapons, two independent sources tell NPR,” the government-funded outlet reported.
“Luke Farritor, a 23-year-old former SpaceX intern, and Adam Ramada, a Miami-based venture capitalist, have had accounts on the computer systems for at least two weeks, according to the sources who also have access to the networks. Prior to their work at DOGE, neither Farritor nor Ramada appear to have had experience with either nuclear weapons or handling classified information,” NPR reported.
The Department of Energy told NPR their reporting on this story was false.
“This reporting is false. No DOGE personnel have accessed these NNSA systems. The two DOGE individuals in question worked within the agency for several days and departed DOE in February,” a DOE spox told NPR.
NPR claimed the two sources saw Farritor and Ramada in the directory but that doesn’t mean they have access to sensitive nuclear secrets.
CNN reported a version of this story in February.
“Farritor was granted access to basic IT including email and Microsoft 365, one of the people said. The chief information office only does a small amount of IT and cybersecurity work for the National Nuclear Security Administration, they said, including providing connectivity and running basic internet services for NNSA’s headquarters. It does not run IT systems for the nuclear agency’s labs controlling the nation’s nuclear stockpile,” CNN reported earlier this year.
CNBC also floated this bogus story in February.
Secretary of Energy Chris Wright set the record straight.
“I’ve heard these rumors. They’re like seeing our nuclear secrets. None of that is true at all,” Chris Wright told CNBC earlier this year.

The Duchess of Sussex Meghan Markle has admitted she is not interested in running for office but would not rule the idea out entirely.
During an interview on The Jamie Kern Lima Show, Markle was asked whether she held any political ambitions of her own, after spending much of the past decade rallying around left-wing causes alongside her husband Prince Harry.
“Would you ever run for office?” IT Cosmetics CEO Jamie Kern Lima asked Markle.
“No, never,” Markle said laughing.
“Oh, God. I mean, you could say, ‘Never say never.’ No, I’m not interested in that. No.”
Markle was also asked whether she intends to write another book after authoring the 2021 children’s book The Bench.
“I think people are curious if I’m going to write a memoir,” she said. “I’ve got a lot more life to live before I’m there.”
“I love, right now, working on everything in this space of hospitality, and home, and entertaining, and food, and those sort of tips,” she continued.
“And something like that, I think, could be really fun.”
Markle is currently facing accusations of plagiarism, after a British children’s author insisted Markle’s canceled Netflix animated series, Pearl, had suspicious resemblances to her own work.
The 43-year-old and her husband have become unpopular figures on both sides of the atlantic, mainly as a result of their narcissistic behavior and needless attacks on the Royal Family.
Among their many attacks have involved smearing the family as racist and framing the institution as archaic.
There had been speculation that President Trump would consider deporting Harry when he arrived in office, after it emerged that he had lied on his visa application form about his past experiences with drugs.
However, Trump eventually poured cold water on the idea, arguing that Harry has got enough problems going on at home.
“I don’t want to do that,” he replied. “I’ll leave him alone. He’s got enough problems with his wife. She’s terrible.”

MSNBC guest Maria Teresa Kumar, President of Voto Latino Foundation, came out defending illegal aliens who were arrested for heinous crimes on Monday, suggesting that the White House is lying about their rap sheets, as she urged reporters to hide the mugshots.
As The Gateway Pundit reported, the White House trolled the illegal alien criminals they’ve arrested by showcasing their mugshots on the front lawn where news correspondents do live shots this morning.
Members of the media were hit in the face this morning upon arriving at the White House, where the photos of 100 violent criminal aliens dotted the lawn, exposing their crimes and showing exactly who Democrats and their liberal media cohorts are trying to protect. The individuals were arrested for heinous crimes such as murder, rape, and various sex crimes against children.
However, some in the media were appalled over the White House’s moxie in refusing to hide the identities of these rapists and killers.
Jonathan Lemire, while hosting Morning Joe today, appeared outraged by the scene at the White House, noting that “if you’re doing a hit from the White House right now, those pictures will be behind you.”
Maria Teresa Kumar expressed similar outrage, saying, “we don’t know if they’ve had due process” and drawing comparisons to Kilmar Garcia Abrego, a deported Salvadoran MS-13 member whom the leftist media has fawned over and lied about. She then pushed the hoax that President Trump used a doctored image to lie about Kilmar Abrego Garcia’s gang affiliation, despite evidence from previous arrests showing that he is an active member of MS-13.
“We don’t know if, in fact, these individuals do have a rap sheet, so I would encourage those individuals that have that as a back shot to blur those people out,” Kumar continued, pretending to care about honest reporting and claiming the press is “absolutely under attack.”
“The job of journalism is to ensure that we are presenting the facts [and] that we are cross-referencing,” she added. “Our job is always to have our true north, to make sure that we’re presenting balanced news.”
Since when do these people, who constantly push hoaxes about conservatives and lie about critical issues in America, care about accuracy?
“Well said,” Lemire told Kumar in complete agreement with her assessment that reporters should hide the faces of public safety threats. “Again, the focus here is doing the work, doing it well.”
The media truly is the enemy of the people.
