President Trump responded on Wednesday to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky’s repeated torpedoing of peace talks with Russia following new demands from Zelensky in order to end the war.

This comes after Zelensky sabotaged peace negotiations with President Trump in February by showing utter disrespect to the President and reneging on a pre-agreed-upon peace deal. Ukraine had previously approved Trump’s requested mineral rights deal with the US to compensate Americans for the hundreds of billions of dollars of taxpayer money Joe Biden gave them over the last four years, but the agreement was not formalized during Zelensky’s meeting with the President.

As The Gateway Pundit reported Zelensky and Putin agreed to a ceasefire during Easter Sunday, making peace in the region seem closer than ever before.

However, Zelensky declared on Tuesday that Ukraine will not recognize Russia’s occupation of Crimea, a statement that President Trump slammed as “very harmful to the Peace Negotiations with Russia in that Crimea was lost years ago under the auspices of President Barack Hussein Obama.”

Per the Wall Street Journal:

“Ukraine will not legally recognize the occupation of Crimea,” Zelensky said at a press conference here on Tuesday. “There’s nothing to talk about here. This is against our constitution.”

Zelensky’s dismissal upends Trump’s latest gambit to halt the war in Ukraine—now in its fourth year—and casts new uncertainty on the future of the relationship between Kyiv and Washington, which Trump has made conditional on a quick deal.

American officials had presented a series of ideas for ending the war—including the Crimea proposal—to Ukrainian officials last week and expected an answer on Wednesday at a summit in London, where Ukrainian, U.S. and European officials will gather.

Zelensky said Russia should agree to a cease-fire before further talks in order to demonstrate “serious steps, and not childishness.” He said that Ukrainian officials meeting with U.S. and European officials in London on Wednesday would have a mandate to discuss a partial or full cease-fire, which Ukraine agreed to last month but Moscow rejected.

President Trump responded to this report, remarking that Zelensky’s “inflammatory statements” will only prolong the war and calling on Zelensky to end the fighting by making a deal. “I look forward to being able to help Ukraine, and Russia, get out of this Complete and Total MESS, that would have never started if I were President!” he said.

Ukrainian President, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, is boasting on the front page of The Wall Street Journal that, “Ukraine will not legally recognize the occupation of Crimea. There’s nothing to talk about here.” This statement is very harmful to the Peace Negotiations with Russia in that Crimea was lost years ago under the auspices of President Barack Hussein Obama, and is not even a point of discussion.

Nobody is asking Zelenskyy to recognize Crimea as Russian Territory but, if he wants Crimea, why didn’t they fight for it eleven years ago when it was handed over to Russia without a shot being fired? The area also houses, for many years before “the Obama handover,” major Russian submarine bases.

It’s inflammatory statements like Zelenskyy’s that makes it so difficult to settle this War. He has nothing to boast about! The situation for Ukraine is dire — He can have Peace or, he can fight for another three years before losing the whole Country. I have nothing to do with Russia, but have much to do with wanting to save, on average, five thousand Russian and Ukrainian soldiers a week, who are dying for no reason whatsoever.

The statement made by Zelenskyy today will do nothing but prolong the “killing field,” and nobody wants that! We are very close to a Deal, but the man with “no cards to play” should now, finally, GET IT DONE. I look forward to being able to help Ukraine, and Russia, get out of this Complete and Total MESS, that would have never started if I were President!

Vice President J.D. Vance on Thursday outlined a peace proposal to end the Ukraine war while speaking to reporters in India. Vance called on Ukraine to accept the proposal, which would see the conflict being frozen along the current frontlines and a prohibition on Ukraine joining NATO, as well as Ukrainian recognition of the annexation of Crimea.

Vance’s comments further indicated that the U.S. intends to “walk away” if the terms are rejected by both Ukraine and Russia. “We’ve issued a very explicit proposal to both the Russians and the Ukrainians, and it’s time for them to either say yes or for the United States to walk away from this process,” Vance said.

Vance’s statements followed closely on the heels of comments made by Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky that indicated that he will not recognize Crimea as Russian and accept a prohibition on Ukrainian NATO membership. “There is nothing to talk about. This violates our Constitution. This is our territory, the territory of the people of Ukraine,” Zelensky told reporters Thursday.

In addition to Vance’s comments about a potential peace deal, the White House has also indicated that its special envoy, Steve Witkoff, who has been negotiating with the Russians, will travel to Moscow for his fourth meeting with Russia’s President Vladimir Putin this week.

President Trump was spotted on the White House North Lawn this morning, scouting out a location for a new flag pole to hang the American flag 100 feet high.

Surprisingly, there is not an American flag on either side of the White House. But that’s about to change.

“They’ve needed flag poles for 200 years,” President Trump said.

President Trump was spotted this morning on the White House’s north grounds near Pebble Beach, where the media sets up for daily reports.

“A beautiful flag pole for the American Flag. We never had a flag pole. One here, one on the other side too,” he told reporters.

Radical Judge Boasberg and J6 defendant Ryan Zink

In a new development in the ongoing battle for transparency surrounding the Government’s unprecedented lawfare against January 6 defendants, J6er Ryan Zink and his attorney, Roger Roots, have filed an opposition (Document 155, filed April 21, 2025) to the government’s attempt to conceal critical evidence from the public.

This filing, submitted in the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia, follows Zink’s recent victory in lifting a protective order on January 6 discovery materials and the government’s subsequent push to reverse that decision. The latest filing reveals a previously unreleased document, marked “highly sensitive” by the government, which lists the injuries reported by Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) officers on January 6.

The document shatters the government’s narrative of a violent “insurrection,” exposing it as a deliberate lie designed to smear President Donald Trump and interfere in the 2024 election.

The “highly sensitive” document, included as part of Zink and Roots’ filing, details that only 56 MPD officers reported injuries related to the January 6 protest.

Far from the catastrophic “attack” on law enforcement peddled by the Department of Justice (DOJ), the injuries listed are often trivial, with many described simply as “pain” in various parts of the body. Examples include a “laceration to the pinky finger,” and nebulous, nondescriptive reports of “back pain” and “head pain.”

Only 18 officers were treated at a hospital, with just one—Officer Michael Fanone—remaining admitted for what the government has exaggerated as “serious injuries.” Notably, the filing highlights that Fanone’s own bodycam footage contradicts his claims of suffering a heart attack or traumatic brain injury, showing him stating he was “O.K.” and engaging in lighthearted conversations with colleagues.

Even more striking, the filing reveals that while only 56 officers reported injuries, approximately 180 MPD members reported using force against protesters.

This means that for every officer claiming an injury, three officers reported that they used force on January 6 protesters. Meanwhile, nearly 1,600 January 6 defendants have been arrested, prosecuted, and, in many cases, imprisoned, with plans to target another 1,000 had President Trump not intervened. This document definitively shows that the vast majority of J6ers were peaceful protestors who did not attack officers.

The government systematically exaggerated police “injuries” from January 6 in order to perpetuate its “violent insurrection” narrative. Most injuries were in the nature of pain, a handful of bruises, some sprained ankles, or mild cuts. Metro PD’s list of 56 injured officers contained just one broken bone (a compound fracture of a finger).

The document’s designation as “highly sensitive” raises serious questions about the government’s motives. Who decided to classify this list of minor injuries as top secret? What criteria were used to justify hiding it from the public? And, most critically, what else is buried in the over 8 million files that comprise the January 6 discovery?

The government’s push to keep these materials under wraps is led by Assistant U.S. Attorney Jennifer Blackwell, who is now urging Judge James E. Boasberg to reverse his order lifting the protective order. Zink and Roots argue that Blackwell’s efforts are part of a broader campaign to shield the DOJ’s misconduct from public scrutiny. The filing accuses the government of exaggerating claims about “national security” and “privacy rights” to justify concealing evidence that debunks its narrative.

For example, the government has claimed that the discovery contains sensitive information about “hundreds of witnesses and victims,” yet Roots counters that the materials contain “almost no privileged or confidential information, and absolutely no details or identifying information about informants.”

The filing also highlights specific instances of government deception. In addition to Fanone’s exaggerated claims, it points to Officer Daniel Hodges, who falsely stated he never swung his baton at protesters, despite bodycam footage showing him violently engaging nonviolent demonstrators.

The government’s false claims regarding Metro Officer Daniel Hodges are also belied by Officer Hodges’ own bodycam footage. Officer Hodges claimed at the sentencing of Patrick Montgomery, for example, that Hodges never swung his baton at anyone on January 6. However, Hodges’ own bodycam footage shows Hodges and other cops violently wading into a crowd of nonviolent protestors while punching, pushing, and swinging a police baton offensively. This footage shows J6 defendant Patrick Montgomery (and other brave J6ers) trying to stop the crazed, out-of-control Hodges, by grabbing Hodges’ baton.

Similarly, the government smeared Trump supporter Rosanne Boyland, claiming she died of a drug overdose, when bodycam footage reveals she died amid violent abuse and neglect by MPD officers. These examples, Roots argues, underscore the public’s right to access the January 6 discovery to expose the DOJ’s pattern of lies.

The public has obviously been misled and confused by the government’s claims. And the public has a right to view the actual evidence from January 6 so that the record of history of January 6 may be clarified.

Zink and Roots’ filing challenges the very foundation of the protective order, noting that the circumstances justifying it four years ago no longer exist. The government itself has released detailed video simulations of the Capitol and hundreds of hours of footage during January 6 trials, rendering claims of “national security” absurd. With millions of visitors touring the Capitol annually and its layout widely known, the idea that surveillance camera locations or other discovery materials pose a security threat is, in Roots’ words, “preposterous.”

The public’s demand for truth is clear.

A 2024 Newsweek poll cited in the filing found that 52% of Americans believe the full truth about January 6 has not been shared, compared to just 29% who think it has. By fighting to keep the discovery hidden, Blackwell and the DOJ are obstructing the public’s First Amendment right to scrutinize the government’s actions in what has become one of the most controversial prosecutions in U.S. history.

Zink and Roots’ latest filing is a call for accountability and demands answers: Why is the government so desperate to hide a document listing minor injuries like a cut pinky finger? What other revelations lie within the January 6 discovery that the DOJ fears the public will see?

As Roots concludes, “The government’s untimely motion should be denied, and the truth about January 6 must be fully exposed.” This fight for transparency is not just about Zink’s case—it’s about restoring trust in a justice system that has been weaponized against American citizens.

This week, a CNN reporter received a harsh lesson when he interrogated War Room co-host and White House Correspondent Natalie Winters, who has made waves as one of the newest White House press corps members.

As previously reported, the Trump White House has infuriated the corporate press by inviting alternative voices from conservative outlets, including The Gateway Pundit, to participate in White House briefing sessions.

Jordan Conradson serves as TGP’s White House correspondent and has asked several excellent questions during briefings.

Earlier this week, CNN’s Donie O’Sullivan spoke with some of these new White House press corps members, including Winters. However, because he lives in the CNN bubble, O’Sullivan was unsure whether Winters was an actual journalist.

Truth and conservatism are almost non-existent on the network, while ignorance is widespread.

“To the people, and I’m sure you see this online every single day, who say you don’t deserve to be here because you are not a real journalist, what’s your response to them?” O’Sullivan asked.

Winters’s response to his dumb question was absolutely epic. She colorfully slammed the legacy media’s failures over the past four years and roasted them for freaking out over the new media’s presence.

“Well, I’m pretty sure the group of people in there spent four years covering for someone who was essentially dead, and that’s being charitable,” Winters replied. “So too all those people who are apoplectic over new media voices, you guys failed, and that’s why we’re here!”

In an electrifying takedown on live television, Jesse Watters exposed the utter hypocrisy of the Democrat Party and their media surrogates, torching leftist commentator Jessica Tarlov for defending Kilmar Abrego Garcia, a MS-13 gang member accused of domestic violence, human trafficking, and associating with murder suspects.

Kilmar Abrego Garcia is an El Salvadoran national who illegally resided in Maryland, USA, after entering the country in 2011 at age 16.

He is alleged to be a high-ranking member of the MS-13 gang, specifically within the Westerns clique, holding the rank of “Chequeo” under the moniker “Chele.”

Reports claim he was identified as a verified MS-13 member by the Prince George’s County Police in 2019 during a loitering incident at a Home Depot, where he was detained with other confirmed MS-13 members.

His gang affiliation is supported by tattoos, including on his knuckles, and attire like a Chicago Bulls hat, which authorities associate with MS-13.

Further reports highlight a 2022 Tennessee traffic stop where Garcia was pulled over for speeding, driving eight people without luggage.

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) labeled him a suspected human trafficker based on this incident, though no charges were filed.

Court documents also reveal domestic violence allegations, with his wife, Jennifer Vasquez Sura, obtaining protective orders against him in 2020 and 2021 for alleged physical abuse, including punching and scratching. A 2019 police report noted his possession of marijuana during an arrest.

During the interview, Watters exposed the Democrats’ selective love for “due process.”

You can’t break into the country and ignore the process of coming here, and then want a process to leave.

You cannot cut the line to come here and then ask to be put in a line to go home. More damning information has emerged regarding the Democrats’ most beloved illegal alien and ‘Maryland man.’

As The Gateway Pundit reported, The Tennessee Star broke an explosive story last week, revealing that MS-13 gangster Kilmar Abrego Garcia was allegedly accused of engaging in human trafficking by a Tennessee Highway Patrol (THP) officer back in December 2022 and detained by the officer. The cop alleged that the gangster was transporting seven passengers from Texas to Maryland.

The officer also discovered Abrego Garcia did not have a valid driver’s license. He then detained the illegal.

However, after the officer took Abrego Garcia into custody, the THP contacted the FBI, asking what to do next. Joe Biden’s FBI unsurprisingly ordered the THP to let Abrego Garcia walk free because they valued violent illegals more than innocent Americans. THP then complied with the order.

Now, The Tennessee Star reports that Abrego Garcia was driving a vehicle registered to Jose Ramon Hernandez Reyes, a convicted human trafficker. Reyes previously pleaded guilty to conspiring to transport illegal aliens from across the country and was convicted in 2020. The outlet confirmed this information after obtaining court documents.

It’s unclear how Abrego Garcia obtained the vehicle or whether he ever worked with Reyes.

Reyes was imprisoned for 18 months, but then remanded to the custody of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). As part of his release, he was barred from re-entering America.

Here are the details from the Tennessee Star:

Hernandez Reyes was convicted in 2020 after he pleaded guilty to smuggling fellow illegal immigrants into the United States following a traffic stop in Mississippi. He was operating a company named Trans Express at the time, according to an affidavit filed by a special agent with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security in December 2019.

It was further revealed that Hernandez Reyes was traveling with eight people in the vehicle, the same number as Abrego Garcia, and that he advertised the business on newspaper and social media.

Police said it cost $350 per person to secure a seat in Hernandez Reyes’ Dodge Grand Caravan, and that his illegal immigrant passengers were able to travel from Houston to destinations in South Carolina and Virginia.

Hernandez Reyes apparently made at least five trips from Houston to other parts of the country.

Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison has filed a lawsuit against President Donald Trump and Attorney General Pam Bondi over the administration’s threat to withhold federal funding due to the state refusing to bar male athletes from women’s and girls’ sports.

Trump signed an executive order to protect women’s and girls’ sports on February 4.

On Tuesday, Bondi sent out a letter warning states that were not in compliance that they were at risk of losing funding.

“This Department of Justice will hold accountable states and state entities that violate federal law,” Bondi wrote Tuesday in letters addressed to Maine Gov. Janet Mills, California Interscholastic Federation Executive Director Ron Nocetti, Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison, and Erich Martens, executive director of the Minnesota State High School League, according to a report from The Hill.

She continued, “The Department of Justice stands ready to take all appropriate action to enforce federal law.”

“I hope that it does not come to this. The Department of Justice does not want to have to sue states or state entities, or to seek termination of their federal funds. We only want states and state entities to comply with the law. And federal law requires giving girls an equal opportunity to participate in sports and athletic events by ensuring that girls need to compete only with other girls, not with boys.”

Ellison responded to the letter by filing the lawsuit and accusing the administration of “bullying.”

“I’m not going to sit around waiting for the Trump administration to sue Minnesota,” Ellison said during a press conference on Tuesday. “Today, Minnesota is suing him and his administration because we will not participate in this shameful bullying.”

Minnesota state Rep. Leigh Finke, who is a “transgender” biological male, also spoke at the press conference. He argued that protecting girls’ sports is “cruelty” and “bigotry.”

“Here, we do not bend to cruelty,” Finke said. “We do not bow to bullying or bigotry. We lead with love and follow the law. We will continue to build a state that honors and affirms the lives of all. We will continue to build a state that honors and affirms the lives of all. We have chosen love, we have chosen justice, and we continue to choose freedom, now and always.”

The extremely far-left attorney general infamously shared a photo of himself holding the Antifa Anti-Fascist Handbook in 2018, claiming that it would “strike fear” into President Trump.

Judge Susan Nelson, an Obama appointee recused herself from the case on Wednesday. The case has been assigned to Judge Patrick Schiltz, a George W. Bush appointee.

The internet is full of memes like: “Fruit pickers wanted, $11/hour,” with captions like, “Happy now, MAGA?” And my response is: Yes. Very happy. That $11/hour wage is a direct result of reducing illegal immigration and rebalancing the U.S. labor market in favor of legal workers.

By cutting off the illegal labor pipeline, we’ve created upward pressure on wages at the lower end of the income scale—without needing to legislate a minimum wage hike. Legal employment also increases tax revenue without raising taxes. Workers on the books pay income tax, and both employers and employees contribute to Social Security and Medicare. This strengthens the system for everyone, especially retirees, without new burdens on current taxpayers.

Then there are the memes mocking tariff-driven price increases: “Toaster now $55. Happy, MAGA?” Yes. We are. We voted for tariffs to push China out of U.S. supply chains, and that’s exactly what’s happening. These tariffs also target countries like Mexico and Canada, which China exploits, as backdoors for tariff-free Chinese goods. Yes, Chinese products are more expensive now, but that’s the point: it incentivizes Americans to buy American and pressures foreign and U.S. companies to relocate production to the U.S. to avoid tariffs.

Roche: The Swiss pharmaceutical company announced a $50 billion investment over the next five years to expand its U.S. operations, including manufacturing and research facilities across several states, aiming to create over 12,000 jobs
Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC): TSMC unveiled plans to invest an additional $100 billion in U.S. chip production, expanding its existing projects in Arizona with new fabrication plants and packaging facilities. ​
SoftBank and OpenAI: In collaboration with other partners, they launched the “Stargate” project, a cooperative venture aimed at building AI infrastructure in the U.S., with an estimated investment of $500 billion and the creation of 100,000 new jobs by 2029. ​
Hyundai: The South Korean automotive company pledged a $21 billion investment in the U.S., focusing on expanding its manufacturing capabilities and creating new jobs. ​
United Arab Emirates (UAE): Following meetings with President Trump, the UAE committed to a 10-year, $1.4 trillion investment framework in the U.S., targeting sectors such as AI infrastructure, semiconductors, energy, and manufacturing.

 

These projects bring jobs, tax revenue, and technological and industrial sovereignty.

Another meme says, “Europe is negotiating free trade with China. Happy now, MAGA?” And again: Yes. We’ve never supported unrestricted free trade, especially not with China. If Europe opens its markets wider to Beijing, China’s trade surplus will soar while Europe sinks further into industrial decline. Green energy mandates and union-driven wage hikes have already made it too expensive for Europe to manufacture key components like solar panels or EV batteries domestically. That’s why they import them from China.

As Europe phases out fossil fuels, it becomes more dependent on Chinese green tech, increasing Beijing’s leverage. And worse, by trading with China, Europe is indirectly funding Russia. China is Moscow’s largest economic lifeline, helping it withstand sanctions and continue its war in Ukraine. Every dollar Europe sends to China helps keep Russia’s economy, and its weapons factories, afloat.

This is economic Darwinism, and MAGA is glad the U.S. is not participating in it. Trump’s policies are finally reversing a dangerous trend that has gone unchecked for 40 years.

Another meme shows European leaders meeting to discuss defense without U.S. involvement: “Happy now, MAGA?” Yes. This is what we’ve asked for all along. Since his first term, Trump has demanded that NATO allies step up and pay their fair share for defense. Now they’re finally doing it. Many Americans on the right no longer support continued funding for Ukraine’s defense. If Europe wants to continue that effort, they should do so with their own money. That’s not isolationism—it’s sovereignty, and it’s long overdue.

Beyond these specific examples, many of President Trump’s policies are unfolding exactly as intended. One clear success: illegal border crossings have dropped dramatically. In March 2025, attempted crossings at the U.S.-Mexico border fell by approximately 94.8% compared to March 2024.

Another often-overlooked consequence of illegal immigration is the burden it places on law-abiding motorists. Illegal immigrants are far less likely to carry auto insurance, and accidents involving them frequently leave victims dealing with uninsured drivers. According to the Insurance Research Council, about 14% of all U.S. drivers are uninsured, costing insured motorists more than $13 billion each year in higher premiums and uncovered damages. Every time a legally insured driver is hit by someone without coverage, it drives up costs for everyone else.

Another major concern is crime. The often-cited claim that “undocumented immigrants commit crimes at lower rates than native-born citizens” is highly misleading. In many jurisdictions, law enforcement agencies either do not record immigration status or are barred from doing so due to sanctuary policies. As a result, there is no consistent national system for tracking crimes committed by illegal immigrants.

Some municipalities intentionally refuse to cooperate with ICE or won’t disclose the immigration status of those arrested, even in violent crimes. Moreover, crime reporting in general has declined in some areas, not because crime has fallen, but because victims, particularly in immigrant communities, are afraid or discouraged from reporting. This creates an artificially low appearance of crime rates among undocumented populations.

And even if it were true that illegal immigrants commit crimes at a lower rate, they still contribute to the total number of crimes in the U.S., crimes that would not have occurred if immigration laws had been enforced.

By securing the border and upholding the rule of law, President Trump is preventing gang members and cartel operatives from entering the country. This helps reduce the flow of drugs, which we hope will translate into a meaningful decline in drug overdoses. At the same time, these policies are driving up wages for American workers—especially those without college degrees, by cutting off the supply of illegal, low-wage labor.

They are also lowering costs for law enforcement and reducing the financial burden of crimes committed by those who shouldn’t be here in the first place. Fewer uninsured illegal drivers means fewer unpaid damages and smaller hikes in insurance premiums for law-abiding citizens. Welfare costs tied to illegal immigration are falling as well.

On the economic front, by raising tariffs and demanding better trade terms, Trump is encouraging companies to invest in U.S. manufacturing, creating jobs and restoring industrial capacity. And by pulling back from Europe’s defense responsibilities, he is finally forcing NATO countries to carry their share of the burden—something he’s demanded from day one.

So yes—this is exactly what we voted for.

After 44 years embedded in the swamp, Senator Dick Durbin (D-IL) announced that he will retire at the end of his current term and will not seek re-election in 2026.

Durbin was first elected to the U.S. House in 1982 and served seven terms before being elected to the Senate in 1996.

The 80-year-old said that age was a factor in his decision.

Durbin told WBEZ:

“I’ve decided not to run for re-election. So a year and a half from now, I’ll be wrapping up. I plan on working full-time until that moment, but I’m not going to be waging a campaign for re-election,” Durbin said during an interview in downtown Chicago.

A major reason for his decision boiled down to one thing: his age. By the time a sixth term would end, Durbin would be 88.

“It’s time,” Illinois’ 80-year-old senior senator said. “You observe your colleagues and watch what happens. For some of them, there’s this miraculous aging process where they never seem to get too old.

Durbin shared his decision in a video saying, “The decision of whether to run for re-election has not been easy. I truly love the job of being a United States senator. But in my heart, I know it’s time to pass the torch.”
