Jesse Watters on Carville vs. Hogg: “Like Watching Women’s Boxing, I Don’t Care Who Wins”(Video)

(@JesseBWatters / X screen shot)

Democrat party strategist James Carville recently unloaded on  DNC vice chair David Hogg.

It was recently reported that Hogg is using DNC resources to run against a number of sitting Democrats. He wants people in office who are further left and will amp up the ‘resistance’ against Trump.

Carville is outraged about this and during an appearance on NewsNation called Hogg a ‘contemptible little twerp.’ He even suggested the possibility of a lawsuit against Hogg over this.

On The Five, Fox News’ Jesse Watters captured the infighting perfectly saying it’s “like watching women’s boxing: they’re both 130 pounds, the fighting is bad, and I don’t care who wins.”

Watters also took a shot at Rep. James Clyburn (D-SC), who recently whined that Democrats have a winning message but the mainstream media is biased against them.

In an appearance on MSNBC, Clyburn explained that Democrats’ main problem is that they are unable to share their winning message with the rest of the country because the mainstream media is unwilling to amplify it.

Watters said on The Five, “Greg, watching these two fight is like watching women’s boxing. They’re both 130 pounds. The fightings bad, and I don’t care who wins.”

“Clyburn, he himself is a problem. He’s the one that gave us Joe Biden. He blackmailed Biden to have a DEI VP. He was part of that coup and then pushed Kamala instead of an open primary, and then they got wiped out. And he’s blaming the media?”

“Permission to make an analogy.”

“This is like the Democrats are a chef who cook (s) disgusting food. The media is like the food critic that keeps on lying to everybody about how good the food is.”

“Now, they don’t have any more customers, and the critic has no more readers, and the chef, instead of changing his recipe, wants food critics fired and rehired with better food critics.”

“It has nothing to do with the food critics. You cook disgusting dishes.”

“You need to stop using influencers and celebrity appearances and flashy music. Just cook better food that everybody likes. Jessica, there’s a saying it’s called ‘all sizzle, no steak.’ Read about it.”

‘He Risked His Livelihood to Speak the Truth Boldly’: Attack on Professor Brings Big Penalty for Major College

‘Hopefully, other public universities will learn from this that if they violate the First Amendment, they can be held accountable, and it can be very expensive.’

Censorship has been rampant across America in recent years. The FBI interfered in the 2020 presidential election by claiming, falsely, that the Hunter Biden laptop computer scandals were Russian disinformation and saying media should suppress the information.

Facebook admitted it censored language under pressure from the Joe Biden administration.

And no one probably will ever know just how much accurate information about alternative treatments for COVID was silenced after claims from bureaucrats and pharmaceutical interests about those mRNA shots working.

The costs of those actions never have been totaled.

But now one university is learning the cost of trying to silence the speech of one professor.

It’s about $1.6 million.

That’s from a report from the ADF, which fought the case on behalf of a professor who expressed his opinion “on treatment approaches for youth experiencing gender dysphoria.”

Officials at the University of Louisville “demoted, harassed, and effectively fired a distinguished professor who successfully led the university’s child psychiatry program,” the ADF reported.

The organization said the school has agreed to pay almost $1.6 million in damages and attorneys’ fees to settle a lawsuit brought on behalf of Allan M. Josephson, who warned of the harms of “transitioning” children.

It’s a popular agenda point for the “transgender” part of the LGBT community. However, following the science means no one “changes” from male to female or vice versa, as being a man or woman is embedded in the human body down to the DNA level.

“In September of last year, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 6th Circuit ruled that Josephson’s case should proceed to trial, declaring public university officials can be held personally accountable for censoring professors or retaliating against them as the University of Louisville did in Josephson’s case,” the ADF explained.

Lawyer Travis Barham said, “After several years, free speech and common sense have scored a major victory on college campuses. As early as 2014, Dr. Josephson saw the truth behind dangerous procedures that activists were pushing on children struggling with their sex. He risked his livelihood and reputation to speak the truth boldly, and the university punished him for expressing his opinion—ultimately by dismissing him. But public universities have no business punishing professors simply because they hold different views. Dr. Josephson’s case illustrates why—because the latest and best science confirms what he stated all along. Hopefully, other public universities will learn from this that if they violate the First Amendment, they can be held accountable, and it can be very expensive.”

Josephson noted, “Children deserve better than life-altering procedures that mutilate their bodies and destroy their ability to lead fulfilling lives. In spite of the circumstances I suffered through with my university, I’m overwhelmed to see that my case helped lead the way for other medical practitioners to see the universal truth that altering biological sex is impossibly dangerous while acceptance of one’s sex leads to flourishing.”

The ADF reported his “colleagues” were angered when he expressed his views of gender dysphoria, and demanded that the school discipline him.

Officials there demoted, then fired, him.

That’s even though he had been hired for the “then-struggling” Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Psychology.

He turned it into a “program that received a national reputation for its work.”

The legal team noted the school even had an “Allan tracking document,” recruited alumni who were coached on what to say about him, and discussed the need for “strong documentation” that would support his firing.

Secretary of State Marco Rubio Announces Reorganization at State Department to Put “America and Americans First”

Secretary of State Marco Rubio announced sweeping changes at the State Department to bring the department “into the 21st Century and put America and Americans first.

Rubio shared, “Today is the day. Under @POTUS’ leadership and at my direction, we are reversing decades of bloat and bureaucracy at the State Department.”

“These sweeping changes will empower our talented diplomats to put America and Americans first.”

The full statement reads:

We are facing tremendous challenges across the globe. To deliver on President Trump’s America First foreign policy, we must make the State Department Great Again.

In its current form, the Department is bloated, bureaucratic, and unable to perform its essential diplomatic mission in this new era of great power competition. Over the past 15 years, the Department’s footprint has had unprecedented growth and costs have soared. But far from seeing a return on investment, taxpayers have seen less effective and efficient diplomacy. The sprawling bureaucracy created a system more beholden to radical political ideology than advancing America’s core national interests.

That is why today I am announcing a comprehensive reorganization plan that will bring the Department into the 21st Century. This approach will empower the Department from the ground up, from the bureaus to the embassies. Region-specific functions will be consolidated to increase functionality, redundant offices will be removed, and non-statutory programs that are misaligned with America’s core national interests will cease to exist.

Under President Trump’s leadership, we have a commander in chief committed to putting America and Americans first. As his Secretary of State, I am confident a reformed State Department will meet the moment and help make our country great once again.

Today is the day. Under @POTUS’ leadership and at my direction, we are reversing decades of bloat and bureaucracy at the State Department.

Harvard Sues Trump Administration Over $2.2 Billion Federal Funding Freeze Amid Crackdown on Woke Campuses

Harvard University has filed suit against nine federal agencies in the Trump administration after the federal government froze more than $2.2 billion in multi-year research grants and $60 million in contracts.

The move was led by a coalition of executive departments, including Defense, Education, and Health and Human Services.

On April 11, the Department of Health and Human Services, along with other federal agencies, issued Harvard a letter demanding sweeping reforms if it wished to continue receiving federal research funding. The demands included:

Shuttering of all diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) programs;
A university-wide “viewpoint audit” to eliminate leftist ideological monocultures;
Forced hiring and admissions practices to ensure conservative representation;
Defunding and disbanding of radical pro-Hamas student groups;
And complete transparency on foreign funding sources.

These measures, according to the government, were necessary to combat antisemitism and restore ideological balance in an institution long captured by left-wing radicals.

President Garber of Harvard fired back, stating, “The administration’s prescription goes beyond the power of the federal government. It violates Harvard’s First Amendment rights and exceeds the statutory limits of the government’s authority under Title VI.

“And it threatens our values as a private institution devoted to the pursuit, production, and dissemination of knowledge. No government—regardless of which party is in power—should dictate what private universities can teach, whom they can admit and hire, and which areas of study and inquiry they can pursue,” he added.

But the Trump administration isn’t backing down. Sources told Harvard that an additional $1 billion in research funding may soon be revoked, and the Department of Homeland Security is now threatening to revoke Harvard’s international student program. The IRS is also reportedly eyeing Harvard’s tax-exempt status.

Rather than comply, Harvard fired back with a lawsuit claiming the federal government had no right to interfere in its affairs — an ironic move for a school that has historically lobbied for greater federal oversight on everything from speech to climate policy.

In its lawsuit, Harvard claims the freeze is “unconstitutional,” “retaliatory,” and threatens “academic freedom.” The university argues that the government is trying to “micromanage” its internal operations and punish it for resisting federal overreach.

According to the lawsuit reviewed by The Gateway Pundit:

Defendants’ actions are unlawful. The First Amendment does not permit the Government to “interfere with private actors’ speech to advance its own vision of ideological balance,” nor may the Government “rely[] on the ‘threat of invoking legal sanctions and other means of coercion . . to achieve the suppression’ of disfavored speech.”

The Government’s attempt to coerce and control Harvard disregards these fundamental First Amendment principles, which safeguard Harvard’s “academic freedom.” A threat such as this to a university’s academic freedom strikes an equal blow to the research conducted and resulting advancements made on its campus.

The Government’s actions flout not just the First Amendment, but also federal laws and regulations. The Government has expressly invoked the protections against discrimination contained in Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 as a basis for its actions.

Make no mistake: Harvard rejects antisemitism and discrimination in all of its forms and is actively making structural reforms to eradicate antisemitism on campus.

But rather than engage with Harvard regarding those ongoing efforts, the Government announced a sweeping freeze of funding for medical, scientific, technological, and other research that has nothing at all to do with antisemitism and Title VI compliance.

Moreover, Congress in Title VI set forth detailed procedures that the Government “shall” satisfy before revoking federal funding based on discrimination concerns.

Those procedures effectuate Congress’s desire that “termination of or refusal to grant or to continue” federal financial assistance be a remedy of last resort.

The Government made no effort to follow those procedures – nor the procedures provided for in Defendants’ own agency regulations—before freezing Harvard’s federal funding.

Harvard requests the court to:

Expedite the case to prevent further harm.
Declare the freeze order and related conditions unlawful and unconstitutional.
Vacate and set aside the freeze order and conditions.
Postpone the freeze’s effective date.
Permanently enjoin the defendants from implementing the freeze or similar actions without complying with federal law and Title VI.
Enjoin violations of Harvard’s First Amendment rights.
Award costs and attorney’s fees.
Grant any other just and proper relief.

Yet, critics point out the stunning hypocrisy: Harvard had no problem implementing coercive DEI policies, canceling conservative voices, and caving to woke mobs. But when the government demands actual diversity of thought — suddenly it’s about the First Amendment?

Read Harvard’s lawsuit against the Trump administration.

Federal Judge Slams Far-Left ACLU Activist for Secret Attempt to Influence Court in Illegal Alien Deportation Case Through Improper Ex Parte Communication

U.S. District Judge James Wesley Hendrix

In a scathing rebuke, U.S. District Judge James Wesley Hendrix, a Trump appointee, issued a blistering court order chastising the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) for attempting to engage in an ex parte communication — a serious breach of judicial ethics — in a high-profile case involving illegal aliens detained at the Bluebonnet Detention Center.

Ex parte communications are interactions where one party or their representative communicates directly with a judge or decision-maker about a pending case without notifying the other parties.

Deputy Director Lee Gelernt

The case, W.M.M. v. Trump, involves petitioners represented by ACLU Deputy Director Lee Gelernt, who left a voicemail for Judge Hendrix on the evening of April 17, 2025, demanding immediate action to halt the removal of detainees at the Bluebonnet Detention Center.

Gelernt’s message, which the Court attached to its order, claimed that his clients were being coerced into signing “Alien Enemy orders” for immediate deportation.

He brazenly requested to “talk to the Judge immediately” or have the Court issue an order to stop the removals—demands that Judge Hendrix noted could have given the ACLU a “substantive, procedural, and tactical advantage” in their bid for a temporary restraining order.

Judge Hendrix, adhering to the Code of Conduct for Federal Judges, minced no words in condemning the ACLU’s tactics. He emphasized that substantive ex parte communications are strictly prohibited, citing precedents like Fed. Trade Comm’n v. Namer (2007) and Kaufman v. Am. Fam. Mut. Ins. (2010).

According to the order reviewed by The Gateway Pundit:

“As a general rule, substantive ex parte communications with the Court are prohibited. The rules governing judicial ethics prohibit judges from engaging in substantive ex parte communications concerning pending matters.

Ex parte communications may be fraught with peril, and judges must take great care with respect to ex parte communications even in the most exigent of circumstances.

The Code of Conduct for United States Judges explains that judges should not permit or consider ex parte communications or consider other communications concerning a pending or impending matter that are made outside the presence of the parties or their lawyers.

Even when circumstances may require such communications, the Code limits such communications to situations where the ex parte communication does not address substantive matters and the judge reasonably believes that no party will gain a procedural, substantive, or tactical advantage as a result of the ex parte communication.”

The ACLU’s voicemail, he wrote, “does not meet [the] narrow exception” for permissible ex parte contact, as it addressed core issues in the petitioners’ motions and sought to bypass the government’s right to respond.

The Court further noted that the ACLU had already been ordered to justify why they should not provide notice to the government under Federal Rule of Civil Procedure 65(b)—an order they failed to adequately address before resorting to this off-the-record stunt.

According to the order reviewed by The Gateway Pundit:

“The Court thus notes that the petitioners had not established prior to the voicemail any reason to believe that ex parte communications of any kind were appropriate.

In light of the rules governing ex parte communications and the substance of the voicemail, the Court notes for the record that it will not permit or consider the voicemail.

The Code of Conduct for Federal Judges instructs judges that if a judge receives an unauthorized ex parte communication bearing on the substance of a matter, the judge should promptly notify the parties of the subject matter of the communication and allow the parties an opportunity to respond, if requested.

The Court therefore enters this Order notifying the government of the contents of this voicemail.

The Court did not return Mr. Gelernt’s phone call and did not otherwise have any ex parte communications with the petitioners or their counsel.”

Below is a transcript of the voicemail:

LEE GELERNT: Hi. This is Lee Gelernt. I’m a lawyer at the American Civil Liberties Union calling about an emergency in A.A.R.P.–P as in Peter–v. Trump, 25-059. The phone number is (646) 842-XXXX. It is 7:30 p.m. tonight.

We understand that our clients at the Bluebonnet Detention Center are being given orders to sign, Alien Enemy orders, and told they may be removed as soon as tonight or first thing in the morning. This is related to the Alien Enemies Act.

We would like to talk to the Judge immediately or– and have the Judge issue an order to have them not removed.

The Judge’s understanding today in his opinion was that the government’s representations would keep the proposed class safe. It appears that they are being asked to–to be–to sign papers for their immediate removal.

Thank you. Again, it’s (646) 842-XXXX. Thank you.

This is yet another example of the ACLU’s reckless disregard for the rule of law when it suits their radical open-borders agenda.

It can be recalled that after receiving a tip that illegal aliens were being loaded onto buses for removal, the ACLU rushed to the U.S. Supreme Court seeking an emergency injunction to block the deportations.

While waiting for the Fifth Circuit to act, the Court issued a late-night, unsigned emergency order siding with the ACLU’s appeal, temporarily halting the removal of dozens of Venezuelans detained at the Bluebonnet Detention Center in Texas.

In a fiery dissent joined by Justice Clarence Thomas, Alito took direct aim at the Court’s liberal majority, blasting their eleventh-hour injunction as legally questionable and procedurally incoherent.

“Literally in the middle of the night, the Court issued unprecedented and legally questionable relief without giving the lower courts a chance to rule, without hearing from the opposing party, within eight hours of receiving the application, with dubious factual support for its order, and without providing any explanation for its order,” Alito wrote in his opinion.

“I refused to join the Court’s order because we had no good reason to think that, under the circumstances, issuing an order at midnight was necessary or appropriate. Both the Executive and the Judiciary have an obligation to follow the law. The Executive must proceed under the terms of our order in Trumpv. J.G.G., 604 U. S. (2025) (per curiam), and this Court should follow established procedures.”

Alito said that the Supreme Court intervened before the Fifth Circuit had the chance to weigh in. That violates the normal hierarchy of judicial review.

“When this Court rushed to enter its order, the Court of Appeals was considering the issue of emergency relief, and we were informed that a decision would be forthcoming.  This Court, however, refused to wait,” Alito wrote.

French “Great Replacement” Philosopher Renaud Camus Banned From Entering UK

The British government, led by the radical, left-liberal globalist Labor Party, has banned 78-year-old French philosopher and author Renaud Camus from entering the country, alleging that his ‘controversial’ views on mass migration are a threat to “the public good.”

The decision, which follows a long list of dissident speakers who’ve faced entry bans into the UK, has sparked a wave of backlash from free speech advocates, political commentators, and international figures, who say the move reflects the UK political class’s increasing intolerance for dissenting opinions.

Camus, who originally coined the term “The Great Replacement” to describe the idea that mass migration is contributing to the demographic replacement of native Europeans, as well as Americans and Canadians with European ancestry, had been slated to speak at a nationalist event later this month. However, that appearance has been scrapped after the UK Home Office denied his travel authorization, effectively barring him from entering the country.

In an email seen by The Telegraph, the UK’s Home Office, analogous to the US Department of Homeland Security, told Camus his presence was “not considered to be conducive to the public good.”

The philosopher, known for his sharp criticism of unchecked immigration, didn’t hold back in his response. “I’ve always admired England as a beacon of free speech,” he said. “To be banned from that country for expressing ideas—well, that tells you everything about where Britain is headed.”

Vauban Books, the independent publisher of Camus’ work in English, reacted to the news, writing on social media: “The decision to bar Renaud Camus from the UK is only further confirmation that that country has abandoned the most basic principles of liberal democracy.

“Camus is one of our greatest living writers and will be remembered as such by posterity. The Starmer government, by contrast, will be remembered – if it’s remembered at all – only for its serial betrayals and profound mediocrity.

After learning he’d been banned from entering the UK, Renaud Camus joined Professor Matt Goodwin on State of the Nation for an interview on GB News.

Responding to the Home Office’s decision, Camus said:

“Well, I was sort of amused. I very much like England and, of course, in my idea England has been the country of free speech par excellence.

“It’s just sort of amusing to be banned for saying what I like to say in the conference in England.”

He continued: “I was probably banned because they thought I was an adversary to what is going on in this country now, which I am very much. I think what is going on in England, as is what is going on in France or any of the western countries, is a crime.

“I disagree very much with all of these governments and it’s not very surprising that they see me as an adversary, I am very much.

‘Do you view what has happened to you in the UK as a symptom of a broader problem?’

Renaud Camus says it is ‘amusing’ that Britain, with its reputation for free speech, has banned the author from entering the country. pic.twitter.com/XFhWbhxpyr

— GB News (@GBNEWS) April 18, 2025

Camus, whose work has influenced conservative and nationalist thinkers across Europe, insists his views are cultural and civilizational—not racial—and he has publicly rejected hatred, bigotry, and violence. Still, the UK government appears to have lumped his ideas into the same category as incitement, setting off alarm bells for anyone who values open debate.

The Free Speech Union (FSU), a UK-based organization that defends individuals from censorship, has pledged to help Camus appeal the decision. Lord Young, chairman of the FSU, called the move “wrong and deeply troubling,” adding, “Banning someone from sharing their views—however controversial—is not how free societies deal with disagreement. We counter bad ideas with better ones, not border control.”

Camus’s supporters weren’t the only ones to speak out. British columnist Michael Deacon also weighed in, questioning whether UK citizens who agree with Camus’s views might eventually face similar treatment. “If criticizing mass immigration is grounds for exile, what happens to the millions of Brits who feel the same way?” he asked.

Adding to the outrage is the UK’s track record of allowing controversial foreign clerics with extremist views to enter the country, while blocking someone like Camus, who has never incited violence or broken the law. Critics see this as a dangerous double standard that threatens the very foundation of Western liberal democracy.

Camus had also been invited to speak at the prestigious Oxford Union later this year, though those plans are now uncertain. Meanwhile, he remains defiant. “Of all the European governments guilty of enabling mass migration, Britain is among the worst,” he said. “It’s no surprise they don’t want me to speak.”

The legal justification for the ban comes from Section 3(5)(a) of the UK’s Immigration Act 1971, a law originally meant to block threats to national security. Over the past decade or so, however, its use has expanded to include people whose ideas might supposedly cause social unrest, even if they’ve never committed a crime.

Critics warn that such vague and sweeping powers open the door to political censorship. “It’s not about keeping dangerous people out,” one commentator noted. “It’s about silencing voices that challenge the status quo.”

Activist Democrat Judge Temporarily Blocks Mayor Adams from Granting ICE Access to Rikers Island in Blow to Immigration Enforcement

New York State Supreme Court Judge Mary V. Rosado (Democrat) issued a temporary restraining order Monday blocking Mayor Eric Adams and his administration from moving forward with a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) that would have allowed federal immigration agents access to Rikers Island – the city’s most notorious jail complex.

Mary V. Rosado (Credit: NYcourts.gov)

At the heart of the case is Executive Order No. 50, issued by Mayor Adams, which aimed to facilitate cooperation between the New York City Department of Correction and federal law enforcement, including U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

The agreement was designed to identify and remove dangerous illegal aliens charged with violent crimes – including repeat offenders and gang members – from city custody and turn them over to federal authorities.

But that common-sense initiative has now been derailed by a politically motivated lawsuit filed by the New York City Council, which outrageously argues that allowing ICE to perform its lawful duties violates the city’s sanctuary policies.

According to the lawsuit, Adams allowed ICE back on Rikers in exchange for the DOJ dropping federal corruption charges filed against him last year.

According to the lawsuit reviewed by The Gateway Pundit:

Mayor Eric Adams, as part of a corrupt quid pro quo bargain to end the federal criminal case against him, promised to let United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement (“ICE”) return to Rikers Island and set up an office.

The Trump Administration has repeatedly confirmed that they will use that office and ICE’s presence on Rikers to supercharge their mass deportation efforts.

To carry out this plan, on April 8, 2025, newly appointed First Deputy Mayor Randy Mastro acting as proxy of Mayor Adams-issued Executive Order 50 to allow ICE back on Rikers Island.

Executive Order 50 and the actions leading up to and surrounding it are illegal, null, and void, and any steps to enforce it should be immediately halted by this Court.

In siding with the Council’s radical anti-enforcement stance, Judge Rosado temporarily barred Adams, First Deputy Mayor Randy Mastro, and all city personnel from negotiating or implementing any deal with the federal government—effectively handcuffing law enforcement.

“Upon the foregoing documents, the Court issues the following interim order granting a temporary restraining order prohibiting Defendants Mayor Eric Adams, First Deputy Mayor Randy Mastro, and the New York City Department of Correction, and any and all New York City government officials, officers, personnel and agencies from taking any steps towards negotiating, signing, or implementing any Memoranda of Understanding with the federal government regarding federal law enforcement presence on Department of Correction property,” Rosado wrote.

The Adams administration, in an effort to accommodate due process, agreed to postpone the agreement until a formal hearing scheduled for April 25.

As the Catholic Church mourns the passing of Pope Francis at age 88, attention turns to the upcoming conclave that will elect his successor.

The papal conclave to elect a new pope following the death of Pope Francis on Monday, is expected to begin between May 6 and May 12, 2025.

Of the 135 cardinal electors eligible to vote, 109 were appointed by Francis himself, comprising approximately 80% of the electorate.

This significant majority suggests that the next pope is likely to continue or even intensify Francis’s left-wing trajectory.

As of April 21, Reuters reports there are 252 cardinals in total, with 135 of them eligible to vote in the next papal conclave—those under the age of 80.

Of these 135 cardinal electors, 109 were appointed by Pope Francis, 22 by Pope Benedict XVI, and five by Pope John Paul II.

Francis, born Jorge Mario Bergoglio, didn’t just serve as pope—he transformed the Vatican into a political institution of the global Left.

Under his watch, he championed open-border immigration policies and climate alarmism to ambiguous stances on same-sex relationships and interfaith relativism.

He repeatedly used his platform to push the Catholic Church further into the realm of globalist politics and social justice activism.

The Gateway Pundit reported earlier on the leading contenders to succeed Francis, whose election could either entrench his liberal legacy or restore the Church’s timeless orthodoxy.
