The far-left Guardian newspaper is advising its readers how they can “divest” from everything made in the United States under the “current regime.”

In an article published this weekend, author Jeremy Ettinghausen details how he is trying to boycott all American goods.

While he acknowledges this is a difficult task, he set himself four rules to follow.

These include boycotting all Americans products and services, not making any American friends and stop looking at art (film, music, television) made by U.S. artists.

He wrote in his article:

Ir eally wish I had a Tesla. Ideally it would be a Cybertruck but any Tesla would do. Then I could plaster it with those “I bought this before Elon went mad” stickers, shamefacedly sell it at a loss and write a performative social media post about no longer being able to stomach the guilt of driving it around town.

But as I don’t actually own a car, let alone a Tesla, I’ve felt unable to add my voice to the anti-Musk and anti-Trump protests gaining momentum around the world. Until now.

This exercise is not about rejecting the modern world or the pleasures and comforts of modern life. It’s about turning away from America and turning towards Europe.

One day I’d love to go back to the States and eat a cheeseburger in a Brooklyn dive bar, toasting old friends and new with shots of rail bourbon in the Land of the Free. But not for the time being, not under the current regime.

Last month, the paper published an op-ed by former Secretary of Labour Robert Reich in which he similarly urged foreigners to avoid visiting the United States.

Reich wrote at the time:

Like most bullies, the regime can be constrained only if everyone stands up to the bullying – including you.

First, if you are considering a trip to the United States, please reconsider. Why reward Trump’s America with your tourist dollars?

Spending by non-Americans in the United States is a significant source of tax revenue and a major “export” of this nation. There’s no reason for you to indirectly support Trump’s economy.

Despite being a British newspaper, The Guardian still punches above its weight in U.S. discourse with a bloated American coverage section and op-eds from a parade of leading progressive ideologues.

Nevertheless, its anti-Americanism is now on full display for the entire world to see.

Two Mexican nationals were arrested in Colorado last month after authorities found them transporting 180,000 rounds of ammunition during a traffic stop, federal officials have announced.

Caesar Ramon Martinez Solis, 41, and Humberto Ivan Amador Gavira, 24, were pulled over on March 26th in Cañon City, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Colorado.

Detectives from Fremont County stopped their white Chevrolet van after it failed to dim its headlights, didn’t signal a turn, and had a broken license plate light, according to an arrest affidavit.

Inside the van, authorities found around 150 boxes of .308 ammunition and 30 boxes of 7.62 ammunition, with each box labeled as holding 1,000 rounds.

Martinez Solis waived his right to an attorney and spoke with Homeland Security agents.

He explained that he and Amador Gavira, whom he identified as his brother-in-law, had traveled from Mexico to Denver the day before to look at a vehicle.

They then drove to Salt Lake City, where they stopped at a gun shop, and Amador Gavira bought the ammunition, according to the affidavit.

“[Martinez Solis] further explained that he did not know the intent with the ammunition but that he believed it was destined for Pueblo,” the affidavit stated.

He added that the exact location was saved on Amador Gavira’s phone. Authorities have not publicly disclosed the destination.

Both men have been charged with unlawful possession of ammunition by an alien admitted under a nonimmigrant visa.

The case is being investigated by Homeland Security Investigations, the Fremont County Sheriff’s Office, and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives.

Officials say the arrests are part of Operation Take Back America, a federal effort to crush illegal immigration and transnational crime, including drug cartels.

The Trump administration has made no secret of its intent to crush Mexican drug cartels and the millions of illegal aliens who pass through the southern border every year.

Shortly after taking office, Trump designated Mexican drug cartels foreign terrorist organizations, granting authorities additional powers and making potential punishments much more severe.

Tom Homan, the White House border czar, defended the controversial deportation of Kilmar Abrego Garcia and rebuked Democratic Sen. Chris Van Hollen of Maryland, who traveled last week to El Salvador to meet with Garcia. Homan’s comments came in a Friday interview that aired Sunday on ABC.

“We removed a public safety threat, a national security threat, a violent gang member from the United States,” Homan said, adding that the government believes Garcia is a member of MS-13, an international gang. 

Asked whether he was concerned about the treatment of Garcia, Homan said “what bothers me more than that is a U.S. Senator traveled to El Salvador on taxpayer dime to meet with an MS-13 gang member.”

In a separate interview on the same program, Van Hollen said of Garcia, “This is a guy who was just abducted off the streets of Maryland, put in a couple airplanes, didn’t know he was going to El Salvador, and ends up in the most notorious prison,” referring to CECOT, a Salvadoran confinement center for terrorists.

The Garcia episode has prompted a backlash from Democrats and federal courts. A court order had protected Garcia from deportation to El Salvador, and the Trump administration says he was sent there due to a clerical error. The Supreme Court has instructed the White House to facilitate the return of Garcia.

On Friday, April 18, the voice of Generation Z, War Room’s White House Correspondent and Executive Editor, Natalie Winters, thoroughly impaled David Brooks’s latest argument in the New York Times, calling for “a comprehensive national civic uprising” against President Trump.

While introducing his co-host, Natalie Winters, War Room founder Steve Bannon said, “David Brooks is a broken man. He is calling for a national mass mobilization of law firms, university professors, and the credentialed class, because, he says, Trump is in a comprehensive power move to destroy it all – every institution that he holds dear.”

Natalie Winters responded, “The Trump Derangement Syndrome truly has metastasized. I think this piece affirms what we have been discussing here, in the War Room: the Stage 4 [level] meltdown; the color revolution theory; the importance of civil uprising; and protests; in some cases, very violent.

“Pay attention to the words that they use, because it used to be mass demonstrations; it used to be non-violent protests; it used to be peaceful protests. Now, they are calling for a civil uprising,” Winters said.

In dissecting the haughty argument put forward by Brooks, Winters identified the key players and institutions central to coordinating the revamped, global effort to undermine President Trump.

“If you look at the key researcher that [Brooks] cites throughout this piece, making the argument as to why they need to engage in this national, civic uprising, they are citing [radical Harvard professor] Erica Chenoweth.

“Two weeks ago, the story that we broke gained tens and millions of views across platforms, about how Harvard, in conjunction with USAID and the State Department, were working to fund these new resistance labs, in concordance with Democratic members of Congress, who I guess are backchanneling with Democratic AGs.

“So, it’s the same people who, for the last four years, have been intricately involved in the lawfare against President Trump. They have been on the receiving end of what I would call the Global Empire, or, at least the construct of it, in the minds of people like David Brooks,” Winters said.

Winters analyzed the stark contradiction between the real America and the narrow version of America that Brooks and the Globalists seek to promote.

“When I was reading this article, talking about the sort of divide between what Trumpism seeks to tear down – the established world order; the neoliberal and neocon rules-based order which [Globalists] want to defend – the fact that War Room is ascendant in viewership, while the New York Times and Washington Post are failing, shows you whose lived experience, whose lived reality, is actually more true and more prevalent.

“And I see very similar parallels to how these legacy media outlets covered the rise of China. It was Joe Biden who wrote a very notorious op-ed in 2008, saying that the rise of China is great for the United States; it’s great for the American people.

“But what it really comes down to; and you see this recurring theme in the David Brooks piece: their construct of the ‘American people’ is [in fact] a very small beltway elite – the group on the receiving end, not just of the USAID contracts, but of this Globalist ruling class,” Winters said.

Winters proceeded to compare these two versions of America from within the media perspective.

“You can link it to what is going on in the White House, with this New Media initiative, and the absolute rejection of the establishment, credentialed, institutional class, that sits in there; that is really upset at my face being there, and a bunch of other outlets.

“Now that there’s no censorship – all of those guardrails have been stripped off – no one cares what they have to say, because they have always been wrong. They have just rested upon this global censorship complex; the news-guards of the world, to buttress their ideas. They are beyond and above reproach; that’s why they hide behind these foreign funded think tanks.

“But now that they actually have competition, they can’t hang,” Winters said.

Winters excoriated the old guard responsible for propagating American misinformation, all the while coordinating with paid protestors and Globalists.

“The truth is actually not that hard to share if you aren’t being paid by a bunch of Globalist, neo-Marxist corporations.

“Now that the entire censorship ecosystem, and the Globalist superstructure and power structure’s wheels are spinning off, it’s a sink-or-swim moment, and I think these people are realizing that they have been living on borrowed time for a very long time, because their ideas are extremely unpopular, and, without the censorship, no one cares what they have to say.

“So, they can try all they want to terraform and manipulate the American populace into accepting their ideas, but the difference is that people will show up and support President Trump. They don’t need to be paid protestors; they don’t need to be whipped up with USAID, State Department funded propaganda to actually believe something,” Winters said.

As Winters clearly illustrated, to stir up a civic uprising, David Brooks would have to compete with millions of real Americans, who find his Globalist-elitist ideology anemic.

Interior Secretary Doug Burgum was on “Fox News Sunday” with host Shannon Bream to discuss trade and US global energy dominance. He also emphasized the importance of the US winning the arms race in AI.

“This idea of rare earth minerals. We get most of ours from them, and I know we have deposits here, but I was surprised to read that even some of what we mine here, we send to them for processing, and then it comes back to us. What can we do domestically to cut China out of that equation?” Bream asked.

“There is both the material and then the processing, and this began, back, you go back to Obama, Biden administration. We basically been at war with mining in this country,” Burgum said.

“Copper is key for electronics, it’s key for military uses,” Burgum said.

“You’ve called China the biggest threat to this country, so where do we go in this tariff fight?” Bream asked.

“I have a lot of confidence in President Trump to be able to negotiate deals. We’ve got one of the best negotiators, you know probably the best negotiating, he’s the only President we’ve ever had who literally wrote a book on negotiating,” Burgum continued.

Burgum also explained that China is vulnerable because it depends heavily on imports.

“We also have a lot of cards in our favor because China imports eleven and a half million barrels of oil a day. They import about 25 percent of the calories they consume every day,” Burgum said.

“We are an energy superpower, we are a food superpower and China is highly dependent, so we’ve allowed ourselves to become dependent on their supply chains for critical minerals. That’s the one piece that we’ve got to undo,” Burgum said.

Bream also discussed the importance of energy production for AI with Secretary Burgum.

“One of the things you guys are working on too is this issue of AI. The President has pressed really hard on that, and it’s not just the technology because we are doing that by leaps and bounds here, but it’s the energy production,” Bream said.

“Thermal coal produces electricity. Metallurgical coal includes the metals that we need for steel making,” Burgum said.

“Coal is persistent. It’s 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. When we’re talking about renewables, we are talking about things that are weather dependent,” Burgum continued.

Secretary Burgum explained that winning the AI arms race against China is vital to the security of the United States.

“This AI arms race, which is the existential threat. We cannot lose to China in an AI arms race. We are leading in tech, but they are leading in the electricity,” Burgum warned.

Former White House Chief Medical Advisor Anthony Fauci has been raking in the cash since he retired from the government.

In the year after he “retired,” Fauci pulled in approximately $3.5 million, cashing in on the fame he garnered during the COVID-19 pandemic, according to a financial disclosure obtained by government watchdog Open the Books.

“Dr. Fauci’s assets soared during the worst of the draconian Covid lockdowns while families and small businesses struggled through school closures and lost income. Now it’s clear the cash kept coming during his first year of ‘retirement,’” Open The Books CEO John Hart told the Daily Caller. “He was rubbing elbows with groups like AHIP flanked by taxpayer-funded security — even as his wife remained the top bioethicist at NIH.”

The Daily Caller reports:

Fauci received several six-figure deposits through 2023 totaling $1.15 million according to a 141-page financial disclosure obtained by Open The Books, a government watchdog group.

The documents do not describe the source of the deposits.

Fauci leveraged his celebrity status as the top trusted messenger on COVID-19 to pad his earnings in 2023, just as newly empowered Congressional investigators sharpened their focus on the ways Fauci betrayed the public’s trust at the pandemic’s height.

Fauci sold his memoir to a subsidiary of Penguin Random House for a reported $5 million in March 2023. That news coincided with a March 2023 congressional memo showing Fauci had privately “prompted” an influential paper dismissing the theory that COVID could have resulted from a lab accident. On July 1, 2023, Fauci began an appointment at Georgetown University as distinguished university professor in both the School of Medicine and School of Public Policy. Roughly two weeks later, two of the coauthors of that paper testified to Congress about the extent of their collaboration with Fauci.

Fauci has also made money through speaking gigs, including before the National Association of Chain Drug Stores and American Health Insurance Plans (AHIP).

Additionally, the mad scientist was awarded Columbia University’s Calderone Prize and $50,000, as well as the National Academy of Medicine’s Lienhard Prize, which awards $40,000.

“Fauci’s final government salary totaled an unprecedented $480,654, the highest salary earned by any of the roughly 2.4 million employees who work for the federal government, including the president, according to Open The Books. Fauci continues to accept a six-figure pension,” the Daily Caller report noted.

Fauci was pardoned for any crimes he may have committed since 2014 by Joe Biden on January 20.

Democratic Rep. Jamie Raskin has promised retaliation against those responsible for “unleashing fascism” on America when Democrats return to power.

Appearing on the Pod Save America podcast, Raskin said that the Democrat Party would “not look kindly” upon those who “facilitated” Trump’s return to power.

He explained:

We need to be engaging in far more work of transnational democratic solidarity with the democratic governments and the democratic movements and peoples and parties of the world, to try to prevent the spread of the lawlessness and the fascist chaos that’s been unleashed against us.

But implicit in it should be the idea that if and when we come back to power, and we will, we are not going to look kindly upon people who facilitated, to use a word of the day, who facilitated authoritarianism in our country.

That’s an assault on our constitution and on our people.

Raskin, who is the son of the late communist academic Marcus Raskin, has recently championed the cause of returning the violent gangsters deported to El Salvador to the United States, describing it as a “blatant violation of American due process and all of our constitutional values.”

“I call on my colleagues to demand that the Trump Administration comply with all judicial orders while appealing whichever ones they want to appeal, and to demand the return of people unlawfully taken to El Salvador on that so-called plane full of ‘gang bangers,’” Raskin said during a recent committee hearing.

The Maryland Democrat also complained about the criticism of activist judges who are illegally trying to block and stymie President Trump’s wide-ranging agenda.

”I especially call on them today to denounce all violent threats, doxxing, online vilification, and threats against our judges,” he continued.

”This is the Judiciary Committee of the United States, and we should act like it.”
