Would you believe that the Biden administration allegedly LIED about how many jobs were created on his watch? Shocking, isn’t it? Yet that’s exactly what the Labor Department is now claiming.

They are saying that the nearly half a million jobs created from last summer into the fall never existed. The timing of the lie, being right before the presidential election, must be a complete coincidence. Democrats would never lie about such an important issue just to win an election, would they?

And of course, the media went along with all of this because, as we now know, they took the Biden administration’s word on everything, just as they did with old Joe’s mental health.

The Biden administration claimed to have added almost 400,000 jobs from July through September of last year, but new data released this week suggest none of those jobs ever existed. Despite constantly gaslighting by the mainstream media, Americans knew the economy was in poor shape and these latest numbers prove it.

Month after month, the government bean-counters under former-president Biden published overly optimistic estimates for everything from job growth to the size of the economy, only to have those numbers routinely—and quietly—revised down later…

Instead of adding almost 800,000 jobs during the middle of last year, the economy likely shed more than 160,000 of them. The next annual benchmark will probably be a (retroactive) reduction of jobs under Biden that exceeds this year’s large downward revision.

For four years, the Biden administration and its sycophants in the media kept telling Americans that we had the strongest economy in history. The financial pain of families was ignored while misleading (and often inaccurate) statistics were paraded on the news to convince Americans not to believe their lying eyes or empty wallets.

Years from now, we will probably still be learning about lies that the Biden administration told the public, which were then repeated by the media as true. This is why Democrats and the media are still in the wilderness and will continue to be for the foreseeable future.

Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor was recently speaking at an event for the American Bar Association, when she took a not-so-thinly veiled shot at President Trump saying, “But right now, we can’t lose the battles we are facing.”

We? Who is “we” Justice Sotomayor?

Everyone knows that Justice Sotomayor is one of the liberal justices on the nation’s highest court, but Supreme Court justices traditionally have tried to at least appear as if they’re above partisan politics.

This comes just as Chief Justice Roberts made some questionable comments of his own.

Justice Sonia Sotomayor said Thursday that lawyers should stand up and fight in battles faced by the nation’s legal system, comments that come amid attacks on federal judges and President Donald Trump’s targeting of elite law firms in executive orders.

“Our job is to stand up for people who can’t do it themselves. And our job is to be the champion of lost causes,” she said. “But right now, we can’t lose the battles we are facing. And we need trained and passionate and committed lawyers to fight this fight.”

Sotomayor didn’t mention the president as she spoke at an event in the nation’s capital hosted by a section of the American Bar Association, which has also been targeted by Trump.

The liberal justice’s remarks come a day after conservative Chief Justice John Roberts defended judicial independence as necessary to “check the excesses of the Congress or the executive” at an appearance in Buffalo, New York.

George Washington University law professor Jonathan Turley commented on this:

The “we” left many surprised and concerned that the jurist was rallying the left as a type of constituency. She declared “We need trained and passionate and committed lawyers to fight this fight. For me, being here with you is an act of solidarity.”

Clearly, such comments are subject to different interpretations. Newspapers like the New York Times made the obvious connection, stating that it was made “against the backdrop of immense stress on lawyers and the legal system from the Trump administration.”

The message was not lost on activists who heralded “Justice Sotomayor’s support for the aggressive pro-democracy movement is so important at this critical time.” Court-sanctioned lawyer and Democratic activist Marc Elias added, “She understands that while we must bring difficult cases and be willing to lose, we must always fight to win. And by lending her voice in ‘solidarity,’ she affirmed that it is ‘our time to stand up and be heard.’”

Won’t it be ironic if Trump gets to pick her successor in his second term?

Supreme Court Chief Justice Roberts took a veiled shot at President Trump on Monday during remarks at Georgetown Law.

This is the third time that Roberts has publicly rebuked Trump in recent months.

Roberts didn’t call out Trump by name but he decried ad hominem attacks against justices.

“The court has obviously made mistakes throughout its history, and those should be criticized, so long as it is in terms of the decision, really, and not ad hominem against the justices. I just think that doesn’t do any good,” Roberts said, according to Politico.

Chief Justice John Roberts described the rule of law as “endangered” and warned against “trashing the justices,” but speaking in Washington Monday he didn’t point fingers directly at President Donald Trump or his allies for publicly excoriating judges who’ve ruled against aspects of Trump’s agenda.

“The notion that rule of law governs is the basic proposition,” Roberts said during an appearance at Georgetown Law. “Certainly as a matter of theory, but also as a matter of practice, we need to stop and reflect every now and then how rare that is, certainly rare throughout history, and rare in the world today.”

Last Wednesday evening Roberts rebuked President Trump during a fireside chat in New York.

Speaking at a fireside chat to celebrate the 125th anniversary of the US District Court for the Western District of New York, Justice Roberts lashed out at Trump for his calls to impeach radical judges.

“Well, I’ve already spoken to that and, you know, impeachment is not how you register disagreement with decisions,” Roberts said in front of hundreds of judges and lawyers.

“The judiciary is a co-equal branch of government, separate from the others, with the authority to interpret the Constitution as law and strike down, obviously, acts of Congress or acts of the president,” he said.

“Its job is to obviously decide cases, but in the course of that, check the excesses of Congress or of the executive, and that does require degree of independence,” Roberts added.

Roberts spoke on the ‘independence’ of the judiciary.

“In our Constitution, judges and the judiciary is a co-equal branch of government, separate from the others with the authority to interpret the Constitution as law and strike down, obviously, acts of Congress or acts of, of the president. and that innovation doesn’t work if it’s not the judiciary is not independent,” Roberts said.

President Trump previously called for Judge James Boasberg to be impeached after he ordered planes deporting criminal Venezuelan aliens to turn around.

“This Radical Left Lunatic of a Judge, a troublemaker and agitator who was sadly appointed by Barack Hussein Obama, was not elected President – He didn’t WIN the popular VOTE (by a lot!), he didn’t WIN ALL SEVEN SWING STATES, he didn’t WIN 2,750 to 525 Counties, HE DIDN’T WIN ANYTHING! In March Chief Justice Roberts said Trump call for impeaching judges is “not an appropriate response to disagreement concerning a judicial decision.”

“For more than two centuries, it has been established that impeachment is not an appropriate response to disagreement concerning a judicial decision. The normal appellate review process exists for that purpose,” Roberts said in a rare statement earlier this year.

From the moment that far left Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez was first elected to office, she has made it clear that representing her constituents was a secondary consideration. She sees herself as a national figure and the liberal media aids her in this by treating her like one.

No one can point to a thing she has done for the people she was elected to represent and unfortunately for her, those people are finally starting to figure that out.

She is spending all of her time traveling the country with Bernie Sanders on their ‘Fight Oligarchy’ tour while her district crumbles.

Frustration with Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has reached a breaking point on her home turf, with fed up Queens and Bronx constituents telling The Post they’re sick and tired of being second fiddle to the jet-setting socialist’s primary focus — herself.

Her district offices in the Bronx and Queens offer little to justify the $1.9 million the congresswoman gets to run them — one is only open a single weekday and the other is closed on Fridays, with phones that go unanswered and constituents urged to discuss their problems “by appointment only.”

AOC’s town halls used to be monthly events – now are only held once in a blue moon, there’s virtually no way to get in a question, and sometimes she only phones in and doesn’t bother coming in person, galled constituents said.

“This woman has done nothing for the community she was once again elected to serve,” said Lauro Vazquez of Woodside, Queens.

Vazquez echoed a sentiment heard in all corners of AOC’s bi-borough district — that they and the “mundane” issues they care about — jobs, public safety, traffic — are an afterthought for a representative with her eyes on the national stage.

AOC is simply following the Elizabeth Warren playbook. Ignore the local job you were elected to do and position yourself as a national figure who only responds to bigger, national issues.

If the people in AOC’s district want someone who is going to actually represent them, they simply have to replace her with someone else. It’s not like she’s going to change.

The first group of white South African refugees arrived in the United States on Monday.

Deputy Secretary of State Christopher Landau and DHS Deputy Secretary Troy Edgar welcomed the refugees, who are fleeing violence, racial discrimination and persecution.

MSNBC’s Yamiche Alcindor said a lot of people are appalled after the Trump Admin reportedly said South Africans assimilate better.

“So the Trump admin, they’re saying that essentially these white South Africans assimilate better, and they’re also not as much of a security risk,” Yamiche Alcindor whined. “That’s really causing a lot of of of people to be appalled, frankly.”

“And I also should tell people that this violence that they’re talking about that are dealing with these Afrikaners,” she said.

“I’ve been hearing from people that say there is violence in South Africa, but it’s affecting everybody of every single race,” she added.

David Hogg has infuriated top Democrats, and they are now plotting to force him out as DNC Vice Chair.

In February, the DNC elected David Hogg, 25, as Vice Chair – and Democrats immediately had buyer’s remorse as the ‘twerp’ began threatening to primary certain Dem lawmakers.

Hogg has no experience in actually getting Democrats elected to office. He’s an online troll who is causing too much damage to the already ailing Democrat party, so now the Democrat leadership has the knives out for him.

TGP previously reported that Hogg vowed to spend millions to unseat his own party’s incumbents during primary season.

Hogg planned to allocate $20 million from his organization, Leaders We Deserve, to try to replace Democrat lawmakers in safe districts with younger and more progressive candidates.

On Monday the DNC took the first step to oust Hogg as DNC Vice Chair.

The DNC approved a resolution challenging the February 1 Vice Chair elections of Hogg and Kenyatta.

In a statement on Monday, DNC Chair Ken Martin said he was disappointed to learn that before he became Chair, “there was a procedural error in the February Vice Chair Elections.”

David Hogg said the DNC pledged to remove him and Monday’s vote “provided an avenue to fast-track that effort.

Hogg also doubled down on his efforts to primary his own party’s incumbents.

They can say what they want, but Trump gets things done. Just today The Gateway Pundit reported on his historic trade deal with China:

The White House has released details on the historic trade deal with China that President Trump and his team secured on Sunday cutting both countries’ tariffs on each other’s imported goods by 115% for at least 90 days.

U.S. Trade Representative Ambassador Jamieson Greer and Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent held Discussions in Geneva, Switzerland, with Chinese Representatives. These talks aimed to address the escalating trade war, which has seen the U.S. impose tariffs as high as 145% on Chinese goods, with China retaliating with 125% tariffs on American products.

This new deal with China comes after President Trump announced his first trade deal in a press conference with United Kingdom Prime Minister Keir Starmer, which retains the United States’ 10% reciprocal tariff rate along with increased tariffs on automobile imports. Meanwhile, the White House says the UK is expected to reduce tariff and non-tariff barriers on meat, poultry, and dairy, which can exceed 125%.

China and the United States have agreed to reduce tariffs by May 14, with China retaining a 10% tariff on American goods while the US retains a 10% reciprocal tariff on Chinese goods. Additionally, China has agreed to help the US “take aggressive actions to stem the flow of fentanyl and other precursors from China to illicit drug producers in North America.”

They claimed that Trump was going to destroy the economy, ruin your 401k, and evaporate your retirement. Instead he won again.

Far-left protestors blocking the gates at Delaney Hall ICE facility in Newark, New Jersey, were arrested after a violent clash with police on Monday.

As TGP reported earlier, far-left ‘faith leaders’ created a human chain and blocked emergency vehicles from entering the Delaney Hall detention facility.

Chaos erupted at the ICE detention facility after law enforcement asked the protesters to leave the property.

Police cuffed protestors for obstructing the entrance to the facility and refusing to leave.

Monday’s clash with law enforcement comes just days after New Jersey Democrats got into a violent confrontation with ICE agents at the same detention facility.

ICE bodycam footage released over the weekend showed Democrat Rep. LaMonica McIver verbally abusing and physically assaulting federal agents at a detention facility in Newark.

A Department of Homeland Security spokeswoman over the weekend suggested members of Congress may be arrested for assaulting federal agents.

A federal judge in Washington, D.C., has denied a motion by far-left immigrant advocacy groups seeking to block the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) from sharing taxpayer information with Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) for the purpose of locating and removing illegal immigrants.

Judge Dabney L. Friedrich, appointed by President Trump, ruled on Monday that the IRS is legally authorized under federal statute to provide taxpayer address information to ICE if it is connected to criminal immigration investigations.

The case, Centro de Trabajadores Unidos et al. v. Scott Bessent et al., was filed by several immigration activist organizations, including “Immigrant Solidarity DuPage” and “Somos Un Pueblo Unido,” who argued that the IRS’s data-sharing plan with the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) was illegal, arbitrary, and violated immigrants’ trust.

But Judge Friedrich was unswayed, pointing directly to Section 6103(i)(2) of the Internal Revenue Code, which explicitly allows federal agencies to request and receive tax return information—such as names and addresses—for criminal investigations.

The judge emphasized that the IRS is required by law to comply with such requests if proper procedures are followed.

“To summarize, the IRS must disclose limited taxpayer identity information (e.g., the taxpayer’s name and address) to assist another agency in criminal investigations and proceedings, if the agency has satisfied the statutory prerequisites in its written request,” Friedrich wrote in her ruling, reviewed by The Gateway Pundit.

The ruling followed revelations that the IRS and DHS had signed a Memorandum of Understanding on April 7, enabling ICE to formally request the addresses of individuals under criminal investigation—a move that could help locate and deport hundreds of thousands of illegal aliens.

Democrat-aligned nonprofits expressed outrage, alleging that immigrant taxpayers had long been reassured their data would not be used for immigration enforcement.

However, the judge found no basis for that claim, asserting the IRS’s interpretation aligns with longstanding statutory authority.

The plaintiffs also tried to suggest that the IRS data might be used for civil deportation actions—not criminal investigations—but Judge Friedrich swiftly shut that argument down.

The Memorandum explicitly limits disclosures to cases involving “criminal investigations,” and the IRS and DHS testified under oath that any use for civil proceedings would be strictly prohibited.

“At its core, this case presents a narrow legal issue: Does the Memorandum of Understanding between the IRS and DHS violate the Internal Revenue Code? It does not. The plain language of 26 U.S.C. § 6103(i)(2) mandates disclosure under the specific circumstances and preconditions outlined in the Memorandum. For this reason, the plaintiffs have failed to show they are likely to succeed on their claims,” Friedrich wrote.
