A federal judge on Friday issued a Temporary Restraining Order (TRO) blocking the Trump Administration’s effort to overhaul and reorganize 20 agencies in the Executive Branch.

In February, President Trump implemented an executive order to completely overhaul the Executive Branch through the work of DOGE.

US District Judge Susan Illston, a Clinton appointee, said in order for President Trump to make such large-scale overhauls, he needs approval from Congress.

“It is the prerogative of presidents to pursue new policy priorities and to imprint their stamp on the federal government. But to make large-scale overhauls of federal agencies, any president must enlist the help of his co-equal branch and partner, the Congress,” the judge wrote in her order on Friday evening.

“As a group of conservative former government officials and advisors have written to the Court, “Unchecked presidential power is not what the Framers had in mind,”” the radical Clinton judge said scolding Trump’s decision to overhaul agencies in the Executive Branch.

Judge Illston paused any reduction-in-force (RIF) notices to workers in 20 federal agencies.

The judge’s TRO comes in response to a lawsuit filed by the anti-American AFL-CIO and American Federation of Government Employees.

Judge Illston enjoined DOGE, the State Department, Treasury and other agencies.

NPR reported:

A federal judge in San Francisco has temporarily blocked the Trump administration’s sweeping overhaul of the federal government.

The ruling from U.S. District Judge Susan Illston, a Clinton appointee, came after a hearing Friday in a lawsuit filed by a coalition of labor unions, nonprofits and local governments.

The plaintiffs argue in their complaint that President Trump’s efforts to “radically restructure and dismantle the federal government” without any authorization from Congress violate the Constitution.

Illston agreed with the plaintiffs, asserting in the hearing that Supreme Court precedent makes clear that while the president does have the authority to seek changes at agencies, he must do so in lawful ways.

Joe Biden appeared on The View this week and if you watched any of it, you know his appearance was a disaster.

The interview was a signal that Biden is planning to do more media, especially now that it has been revealed that the Biden family is desperate to keep cash flowing into their bank accounts.

While many Democrats continue to defend Biden, there are plenty of them who wish Biden would just go away. His presence on the national stage is just a reminder of how they got their butts kicked in the 2024 election. They don’t want to think about that.

“Elections are about the future. Every time Joe Biden emerges, we fight an old war,” said Democratic strategist Anthony Coley, who worked for the Biden administration. “Every interview he does provides a contrast to Trump that’s just not helpful for the Democratic brand, which needs trusted messengers and fighters who can reach independents and moderates and inspire the base. Joe Biden ain’t that.”…

One Democratic strategist said Biden needs to “take responsibility for his actions” and “own up to the fact that he caused Democrats to lose.”

“I don’t think there’s a willingness to cop to the fact that he should never have run again in the first place,” the strategist said. “Why can’t he come out and acknowledge that part of this is on him?”

This is political karma for the Democrats. They hitched their wagon to Joe Biden and now they’re stuck with him, whether they like it or not.

Newark Mayor Ras Baraka was released from custody on Friday evening after he was arrested for criminal trespass at an ICE detention facility.

The Mayor of Newark was arrested for criminal trespass on Friday after storming the Delaney Hall ICE detention facility with congressional Democrats.

According to News12NJ, Baraka was shouting at agents after he gained entry through the gate.

Interim US Attorney for the District of New Jersey Alina Habba said Mayor Baraka was taken into custody after he ignored multiple warnings from DHS agents.

“The Mayor of Newark, Ras Baraka, committed trespass and ignored multiple warnings from Homeland Security Investigations to remove himself from the ICE detention center in Newark, New Jersey this afternoon. He has willingly chosen to disregard the law. That will not stand in this state. He has been taken into custody. NO ONE IS ABOVE THE LAW,” Alina Habba said.

Baraka ran to MS-13-loving CNN and said he had been charged with federal trespassing. He accused Alina Habba of lying about her claim that he was repeatedly asked to leave the facility.

Bill O’Reilly slammed the hosts of ‘The View’ this week after their interview of Joe and Jill Biden, calling them delusional.

Bill took issue with Joe Biden claiming that Kamala Harris lost because of sexism and the hosts of the show accepting that ridiculous answer.

He even suggested that it’s not necessarily a case of lying because they all actually believe this. That they choose to live in a delusional world rather than face the truth.

Back when Barbara Walters was still alive and The View wasn’t completely insane, O’Reilly used to appear on the show once in a while but those days are clearly over. The View is completely off the rails.

O’Reilly dismissed the “sexist” argument, saying most arguments against Harris had nothing to do with her gender and Biden likely couldn’t find proof to back up his claim. The hosts of The View, he added, buy into whatever the former president is pushing because they’re “delusional” hosts of a “stupid show.”…

“Are they lying? Technically, they’re not lying, because they live in a delusional world, a world that doesn’t really exist,” the former Fox News host said. “They make up that world. In the past, people who hired media people, like the ladies on The View, people who vetted guests, that kind of thing, would not hire delusional people.”

O’Reilly is obviously correct about all of this. The ladies of The View do inhabit a delusional world and, like many people on the left, they do choose to believe things that aren’t true.

They still can’t even face the truth about why Trump won. Their treatment of Joe and Jill Biden showed that definitively.

Lawyers for Letitia James are claiming that the investigation into her alleged mortgage fraud is politically motivated. That sound you just heard is an irony detector exploding.

This is especially rich, considering that James is trying to distract from her legal woes by launching yet another lawsuit against Trump.

Are her lawyers not aware that she ran for office almost entirely on the promise to ‘get Trump’ for any reason she could find? She actually campaigned on it.

Now that she is facing charges of her own, it’s suddenly politically motivated? It is to laugh.

It has also been revealed that the taxpayers of New York are going to be forced to pay for Letitia James’ defense.

Gothamist reported:

The budget sets aside $10 million to cover private defense costs for state employees subject to federal investigation, so long as the investigation was “reasonably likely to have been commenced” because of the employee’s work. The measure leaves little doubt it is carefully tailored to apply to James, who won a $450 million judgment against Trump, his family and his business last year. The provision applies to state employees who “previously initiated … a criminal or civil investigation or prosecution” of a federal official.

“I can’t imagine a majority of New Yorkers not being outraged that their hard-earned dollars that go to the government are now being used — or can be used — to pay for private attorneys to defend public officials against charges of crimes that they committed, having nothing to do with their elected position,” said state Sen. Andrew Lanza, a Staten Island Republican.

The people of New York deserve so much better than this.

In a saga that reads more like a political thriller than a real estate dispute, Texas businessman Timothy Barton is at the center of a high-stakes legal storm that some allege is less about justice and more about silencing dissent.

Timothy Barton—a Christian businessman, proud Trump supporter, and founder of the successful JMJ Development—has, in yet another glaring example of Biden-era political persecution, become the latest target of lawfare by a weaponized federal government more interested in shielding the Chinese Communist Party than protecting American citizens.

Barton’s “crime”? Sounding the alarm on what he believed to be a covert Chinese land acquisition scheme on U.S. soil.

Back in 2019, Barton was approached by a Chinese national named Haoqiang “Michael” Fu and his associate Steven Wall. They pitched him on partnering in high-value real estate developments across Texas. At first glance, it looked like a lucrative venture. But the deeper Barton got involved, the clearer the red flags became. Fu and Wall repeatedly failed to provide promised funding, while Barton was forced to keep the project afloat—personally.

Worse still, Barton discovered what he described as blatant financial fraud, including altered co-lender documents redirecting repayments straight to Fu. Convinced that the deal was a front for something far more dangerous—a CCP-backed scheme to influence and infiltrate American real estate — Barton did what any patriot would do: he reported the activity to Homeland Security.

But in Joe Biden’s America, doing the right thing gets you punished.

When the Trump administration left office and Biden’s handlers seized power, the DOJ and SEC pivoted hard. Instead of investigating Fu’s shady dealings or holding China accountable, the feds turned their full weight against Barton. They slapped him with baseless charges, raided his home at dawn like he was a cartel boss, and seized nearly every asset he owned—all before he ever stepped foot in a courtroom.

There was no trial. No jury. No victims ever identified. Just a man crushed by an out-of-control federal machine determined to make an example out of a Trump donor who dared to expose China’s growing influence inside our borders.

Even Barton’s assistant, a woman with no criminal record, was dragged into this charade — arrested on Christmas Eve in a cold, calculated move that felt more like revenge than justice.

And that was just the beginning.

Under Judge Brantley Starr—a figure now infamous in Texas legal circles—Barton’s fate was handed over to a court-appointed receiver, Cort Thomas. From day one, Thomas acted like a demolition crew with a legal license. He gutted Barton’s decades-old business empire, liquidated assets, froze family bank accounts, and dragged Barton’s children and ex-wife into court.

Thomas’s attorney, Charlene Koonce—whose own writings include “Weapons of a Receivership”—filed a barrage of lawsuits with zero evidence, targeting everyone in Barton’s orbit. Some of those lawsuits have since been quietly withdrawn. But the damage was done.

This isn’t oversight. It’s overreach. It’s lawfare. And it’s political.

Let’s be clear: this never would’ve happened if Barton weren’t a public Trump supporter who blew the whistle on a scheme tied to America’s greatest geopolitical enemy. In today’s twisted justice system, that’s enough to make you a target.

Barton, for his part, hasn’t buckled. Grounded in his Christian faith and belief in this country, he continues to fight — even as the system tries to break him. He built his company from the ground up and used his success to fund America First initiatives. That alone, under Biden’s corrupt DOJ, made him an enemy.

In one telling move, the court even denied Barton’s request to attend President Trump’s recent inauguration event—a petty but unmistakable message: if you stand with Trump, you’ll be punished.

The real outrage? While the federal government wages war against Barton, Chinese nationals are still quietly scooping up land across America—often near sensitive military sites. Instead of defending U.S. sovereignty, Biden’s regime seems more focused on silencing anyone who exposes the CCP’s agenda.

President Trump has repeatedly vowed to dismantle the deep state, purge political operatives from the DOJ, and bring accountability back to Washington. That mission must include righting the wrongs done to patriots like Timothy Barton. Dismiss the case. Restore his property. And send a loud message: America belongs to Americans—not the CCP, and not the corrupt elite shielding them.

The high-profile criminal trial of disgraced rap mogul Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ is ongoing, but it has run into delays in the selection of the jury.

The choosing of the Diddy jury will continue on Monday (12), the same day that opening statements are expected.

Prospective jurors have been asked if they, a family member or a friend had been a victim of sexual assault, sexual harassment or domestic violence.

They are also questioned as to whether they or a loved one had been charged or accused of these crimes.

USA Today reported:

“To avoid having to press restart on the entire jury selection process, both legal teams and the judge agreed to finalize the group of people who will help decide Combs’ fate on May 12, plucking them from a pool of 43 who have made it through rounds of intense questioning.”

The jury pool now has 45 candidates after two more jurors were struck off.

“One potential candidate sent an email overnight asking to be excluded over ‘issues of personal wellbeing’, while the other was eliminated after they were discovered to have an active lawsuit against the city of New York that they did not disclose in either their interview or questionnaire.”

Other event predicted for Monday is the deposition of Cassie Ventura.

Defense Lawyers won’t cross-examine her regarding ‘certain unspecified medical topics’, but want to question her regarding what they call ‘propensity for violence’.

“The defense team said they wanted to illustrate her nature for ‘getting into physical altercations with other people’, arguing that she is ‘a strong, capable person who does not shy away from confrontations’.”

Diddy may be incarcerated for life if convicted.

“Rather than deny any violence in the relationship, Combs’ lawyers said they want to show that there was ‘mutual violence in their relationship’ and ‘hitting on both sides’, in an attempt to disprove the prosecution’s argument that she was ‘coerced’.”

But judge Subramanian has already said that ‘strong people can be coerced, just like weak people’.

“The judge overseeing Combs’ sex-trafficking trial admonished a lawyer [Marc Geragos] close to the hip-hop mogul’s defense team for referring to the prosecutors in the case as a ‘six-pack of white women’ in comments on a podcast. ‘That’s something that you shouldn’t, that no one should be saying as an officer of the Court and a member of the bar’, Judge Subramanian told Geragos in a private conversation in his robing room on May 6.”

86-year-old Maxine Waters is the ranking member of the House Financial Services Committee yet she appeared to be confused over “Gross Domestic Product” as she read from prepared remarks.

Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent testified before the House Financial Services Committee on Wednesday and sparred with Maxine Waters.

Maxine Waters sounded like a third grader struggling to read.

During a press briefing on Friday, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt shut down reporters for suggesting that President Trump is using his office for his own or his family’s financial benefit, like Joe Biden did. 

During the briefing, two different reporters insinuated that the President was profiting or being influenced by foreign money or doing personal business on an official trip to the Middle East.

Firstly, Andrew Eggar of the Bulwark questioned the president’s motives with the Trump cryptocurrency memecoin and the group behind the coin. He pointed out that some may seek to purchase large amounts of the cryptocurrency in an attempt to influence the president’s foreign trade policy.

Leavitt assured reporters that President Trump is “abiding by all conflict of interest laws” and is continuing to put the American people first in a calm exchange.

Egger: There are at least some people who are buying this coin who seem to view it as an opportunity to influence the president’s views. There was a logistics company this week that said they would buy $20 million in the coin in order to advocate for free trade between the US and Mexico. If buyers are buying for that reason, are they wasting their money?

Leavitt: Look, I can assure you, the president acts with only the interests of the American public in mind, putting our country first, and doing what’s best for our country. Full Stop. That’s his intention, and that’s what he’s focused on.

Later, however, Leavitt let it rip when another reporter questioned the president’s visit to the Middle East next week and whether he plans to bring family members along to do business.

“I think it’s frankly ridiculous that anyone in this room would even suggest that President Trump is doing anything for his own benefit. He left a life of luxury and a life of running a very successful real estate empire for public service, not just once, but twice,” Leavitt responded to this question and Eggar’s question. 

She further slammed the press for not questioning the previous White House Press Secretaries on Biden’s millions of dollars made through influence peddling schemes with his family, calling Biden a “career politician who was clearly profiting off of his office.”

I don’t remember these same types of questions being asked of my predecessor about a career politician who was clearly profiting off of his office. That is not what President Trump does, and this White House holds ourselves to the highest of ethical standards.

A couple of seemingly unrelated reports may be signaling an intensifying move from the US towards the Danish Arctic territory of Greenland, sending Euro-Globalists into a panic.

To begin with, Denmark’s Prime Minister, Mette Frederiksen, came out today (9) to complain that ‘you cannot spy against an ally’ after the WSJ reported that the US has ‘stepped up intelligence gathering on Greenland’.

“Frederiksen’s comments Friday are the latest in the spat between Denmark, Greenland and the United States because Trump seeks to annex the strategic Arctic island. Yesterday (8), Frederiksen summoned the top American diplomat in the country, Jennifer Hall Godfrey, demanding an explanation following the Wall Street Journal report.

Intelligence agency heads are investigating Greenland’s independence movement, as well as the local sentiment about U.S. resource extraction.

“’Cooperation about defense and deterrence and security in the northern part of Europe is getting more and more important’, Frederiksen said. ‘Of course, you cannot spy against an ally.’

Greenlandic Prime Minister Jens-Frederik Nielsen, in comments to Greenland newspaper Sermitsiaq, said the reports of espionage are unacceptable and disrespectful.

Finnish President Alexander Stubb said Friday there is ‘no question’ that the pressure Denmark and Greenland are under ‘doesn’t feel right’.”

Tulsi Gabbard’s office warned that she had already made three ‘criminal referrals’ to the Justice Department over intelligence community leaks.

“’The Wall Street Journal should be ashamed of aiding deep state actors who seek to undermine the President by politicizing and leaking classified information’, Gabbard wrote. ‘They are breaking the law and undermining our nation’s security and democracy. Those who leak classified information will be found and held accountable to the fullest extent of the law’.”

But that is not all: a second, significant report deals with military plans for the defense of the Western Hemisphere, and Greenland’s place in it.

CNN reported:

“Trump administration officials are weighing a change that would shift responsibility for US security interests in Greenland to the military command that oversees America’s homeland defense, underscoring the president’s focus on the strategically important territory that he has repeatedly said he wants to acquire, three sources familiar with the deliberations told CNN.”

This change would put Greenland into US Northern Command area of responsibility.

“On its face, the idea of putting Greenland under NORTHCOM authority makes some logical sense given it is part of the North American continent, though politically and culturally, it is associated with Europe and is a semiautonomous territory of Denmark. Some of the discussions pre-date Trump’s return to office this year, the sources said.”

Trump has set its sights on the island.

“Still, several US officials expressed wariness about the move because of Trump’s repeated insistence that the US ‘needs’ Greenland and his refusal to rule out military action to obtain it.

[…] Putting Greenland under US Northern Command would at least symbolically split Greenland from Denmark, which would still be overseen by US European Command.”
