Nashville’s far-left Mayor Freddie O’Connell is being accused of obstruction after he doxxed ICE agents.

Freddie O’Connell is under federal investigation for aiding and abetting illegal aliens.

“It looks like Mayor O’Connell was involved in some sort of obstruction, or the harboring of criminal illegal aliens in the great city of Nashville but also just last night his office put out the names of Homeland Security investigators and doxxed our ICE enforcement officers. They claimed it was a mistake – there’s zero chance it was a mistake and there will be repercussions,” DHS spox Tricia McLaughlin said on Newsmax.

“I hope [O’Connell] will face consequences,” she said.

Earlier this week GOP Congressman Andy Ogles (TN) confirmed the investigation and said he will be formally requesting all documents from the mayor’s office.

“If you’re helping violent gangs destroy Tennessee by obstructing ICE—you belong behind bars,” Rep. Ogles said.

New Jersey Senator Cory Booker is cashing in on the publicity from his marathon speech with a book entitled Stand. 

This announcement follows Booker’s 25-hour speech in the Senate two months ago, which surpassed the record set by former Senator Strom Thurmond during his opposition to the 1957 Civil Rights Act.

In his book, Booker plans to revisit the key themes from that speech, highlighting what he sees as the harm caused by policies under the Trump administration.

“This book is about the virtues vital to our success as a nation and lessons we can draw from generations of Americans who fought for them,” Booker said in a statement.

“I don’t know how to solve this. I don’t know how to stop us from going down this road. … But I know who does have the power: the people of the United States of America. … Let’s get in good trouble.”

“Now is not the time to surrender to cynicism or abandon our most noble ideals,” he continued.

“Now is the time to defiantly declare like our ancestors before us: I too stand for America.”

The book describes itself as “an urgent call to renew our shared values and commit to endurance, courage and principled action.”

The deal will add further fuel to the speculation that Booker is gearing himself up for a run for the Democratic nomination in 2028.

Last month, Booker staged a sit-in on the Capitol steps alongside House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries, although the stunt ended in failure when barely anyone showed up to participate.

On Thursday Project Veritas released undercover video of DNC Vice Chair David Hogg slamming Nancy Pelosi’s “too well-timed” stock trades.

Pelosi is reportedly worth tens of millions of dollars (possibly hundreds of millions) after spending most of her adult life in Congress on a modest salary.

Hogg criticized members of Congress for their stock trades.

“I would say Pelosi’s actually very good at her job. I don’t agree with the stock trading stuff,” Hogg said in the undercover video.

“Some of these members of Congress make trades that are, like, way too well-timed to not have, like, insider knowledge.” Hogg said. “[Pelosi] gets better returns than almost every hedge fund in this city. Every year.”

Hogg said he would rather not publicly confront Pelosi on her corruption because it could jeopardize his gun control agenda.

“I know that if I pick that fight, it’s going to be harder for us to get gun control passed, so I have to pick my battles,” he said.

On Wednesday, Project Veritas released undercover video of DNC Vice Chair David Hogg admitting Jill Biden’s Chief of Staff, Anthony Bernal, was running the Biden White House.

“How corrupt is the DNC if so many knew or few people knew about Biden?” a Project Veritas undercover reporter asked Hogg.

Hogg replied, “The bigger issue was like the inner circle that was around Biden… like Jill Biden’s Chief of Staff [Anthony Bernal] had an enormous amount of power.”

Deterrian Jones, former White House Office of Digital Strategy chimed in, “That was an open secret. I would avoid him. He was scary.”

FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino revealed shocking information Thursday morning that the FBI under James Comey had intentionally mishandled and hidden evidence from the American public in a secret room, and the contents would soon be known to the public.

During an appearance on Fox and Friends, Bongino shared his takeaways from his new job, detailed the decision to reopen multiple Biden-era investigations of ‘significant public interest,’ and responded to Comey’s post threatening to assassinate Trump. Towards the end of the interview, Bongino then broke news that could soon send Comey to prison.

While discussing the remaining Comey loyalists in the FBI building, Bongino announced that the FBI had discovered an ENTIRE ROOM was full of mishandled and hidden evidence from the Comey years.

He went on to say that the FBI is working to declassify the documents, and once that occurs, the public will be shocked at what they learn.

Matt Schlapp opens CPAC Budapest 2025

The fourth CPAC Budapest opened today with speeches by director Matt Schlapp, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán, and the Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Kobakhidze. US speakers include Rep. Abe Hamedeh, New York Young Republicans head Gavin Wax, Trump attorney John Eastman and YouTubers Ben Shapiro, Michael Knowles, Dave Rubin, and Jack Posobiec.

International stars set to speak in the next two days include Dutch Freedom Party Leader Geert Wilders, German AfD party head Alice Weidel, former British PM Liz Truss, former Australian PM Tony Abbott, Slovak PM Robert Fico, the head of the Spanish Vox party Santiago Abascal, the head of the Austrian Freedom party Herbert Kickl, and Dutch influencer Eva Vlaardingeerbroek.

The event began with a prayer and the singing of the Hungarian and US national anthems.

In his opening speech, organizer Miklos Szantho praised President Donald Trump for “having Hungary’s back” and criticized the “globalists in Brussels” who want to cut Hungary’s funding. “We think the EU should stand for peace, and not for letting countries in that will cause war.” Szantho announced the dawn of an “Age of Patriots”, the motto of this year’s CPAC Budapest.

CPAC and Donald Trump had normalized an idea started by Hungarian PM Viktor Orbán, host Matt Schlapp of the American Conservative Union said: “That a country needs secure borders. Before Trump, we were told that was racist.”

After “four years of Joe Biden, two wars and a broken economy”, Schlapp had asked Trump why he wanted to run for President again. Trump was convinced “we won’t have a country” if he didn’t run again, Schlapp said.

After Trump’s victory, “there’s a new breeze blowing”, Schlapp told Orbán. “This time, that breeze is at our backs.” There is a new generation of conservative leaders now, including Argentine President Javier Milei and Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu, Schlapp said, who are subject to constant attacks, “and our job is to have their backs.”

Georgian PM Irakli Kobakhidze said that “Georgia has faced enormous pressure to turn our country into a battlefield again” since the start of the Ukraine war. But “Georgia will always stand for peace,” Kobakhidze said. What Americans call the “Deep State,” Georgians call the “Global War Agenda”. “I hope that President Trump will successfully weaken the Deep State,”  Kobakhidze said.

President Donald Trump sent a video message to CPAC Budapest.

“Last year, standing on this stage, I said that Donald Trump will win the US elections. Hungarian PM Viktor Orbán said. “Next year we have elections in Hungary. Any questions?” he joked to audience applause.

Conservatives routinely have to weather attacks that would send liberals running to hide in tears, Orbán said. Orbán praised Georgian PM Irakli Kobakhidze for creating the strongest economic growth in Europe, “with 20% of his country under the boot of the Russian bear,” praising Kobakhidze for not letting his country get dragged into the Ukraine war.

Orbán also praised  Slovak PM Robert Fico, for “taking 5 bullets, and still he’s here as if nothing happened.” Orbán lauded former Czech PM Andrej Babis for closing the borders of his country and hailed Polish PM Mateusz Morawiecki: “What Brussels is doing with the PiS party is unprecedented.”

Orbán greeted German AfD head Alice Weidel, saying, “it is good to see there are Germans who love their country more than Brussels.” If there were justice, Herbert Kickl would be Prime Minister of Austria now, Orbán told the Austrian Freedom Party leader whose party came in first in national elections in ‘October 2024 but was excluded from the ruling coalition. Orbán called Dutch Freedom Party head Geert Wilders “a Dutch hero who has to be protected by body guards and whose life is threatened. We are happy to have you here with us.”

“Donald Trump has won and is restoring hope to the world,” Orbán said, calling it “the best comeback in the history of the Western world. What a slap in the face for leftists: Not only did he win, but he is doing what he promised.” Trump has closed the borders, abolished the transgender agenda and left the Soros organization “naked”, Orbán said. “The Emperor is now naked. It is like a dream come true.”

The American dream had come true, Orbán said, “but what about the European dream?” The EU used to be an organization of sovereign nations, Orbán said. “European people do not feel safe in their streets anymore. This is organized population exchange. The Green Deal is killing our economies. And now that we have a heavyweight leader to negotiate tariffs with in the US, it turns out we only have featherweight leaders.”

Conservative leaders like Marine LePen and Matteo Salvini are being dragged into court and tried, Orbán said, while the AfD is being pursued in  Germany. Brussels is dragging Europe into war, and wants to centralized the EU and put the European economy on a war footing, Orbán said.

“This is the problem with Hungary: we are a free race. We don’t want central control and don’t want our money to be channeled into war. We want to give the people back freedom of thought and speech. We want a nation without fear. This is the Patriotic project. This war will have to be won at home and then in Brussels. We need to join forces for this united battle. Then we can start to re-occupy Brussels. For this we need the United States and the support of Donald Trump. The task is not complicated. We just need to win. And we will make Europe Great again.”

Claims circulating on social media and in certain mainstream media outlets suggest that numerous student visas were revoked arbitrarily and without cause. However, a closer inspection of the facts shows that these revocations were justified. According to Secretary of State Marco Rubio, the number of student visas revoked is in the thousands, and the actions were part of a targeted policy aimed at addressing national security concerns.

The visa cancellations were tied to specific behaviors and affiliations, particularly those involving support for entities deemed hostile or dangerous by the U.S. government, such as transnational terrorist or criminal organizations.

This policy initiative, known informally as “Catch and Revoke,” was implemented by the Trump administration in early 2025. The Department of State employed artificial intelligence tools to scan public social media posts for indicators of support for terrorist organizations, including Hamas and Hezbollah, or for activities that undermine U.S. national interests. According to U.S. officials, some revocations were based on cellphone content found during secondary screening procedures. In one case, a student had photos and videos expressing support for Hezbollah, which prompted immediate visa cancellation.

Secretary Rubio made it clear that student visas are intended strictly for academic purposes. He publicly stated that foreigners studying in the U.S. who engage in actions viewed as “destabilizing” should expect to lose their visa privileges. The administration emphasized that studying in the U.S. is a privilege, not a right, and that non-citizens must comply with the expectations tied to their visa status.

Contrary to claims that students were targeted for nothing more than political beliefs, multiple reports show that some visa revocations were linked to past legal violations. A Turkish student at the University of Minnesota was detained in March after his visa was canceled due to a previous drunk driving conviction. Other students reportedly lost their visas over infractions like speeding tickets. While these violations may seem insignificant, U.S. immigration law grants broad discretion to revoke visas for a wide range of conduct that may raise character concerns or suggest a failure to uphold U.S. legal norms.

The White House defended the visa revocations under a provision of the 1952 Immigration and Nationality Act, which gives the Secretary of State the authority to expel foreign nationals if their continued presence is believed to pose “potentially serious adverse foreign policy consequences” for the United States. This legal justification has been on the books for decades and has been used across multiple administrations, though rarely on this scale.

Further clarifying the administration’s stance, Secretary of State Marco Rubio explained in a Department of State newsletter that Catch and Revoke is a “one-strike policy,” stating, “Whenever the government catches non-U.S. citizens breaking our laws, we will take action to revoke their status.”

He confirmed that the policy applies not only to students who have “supported terrorists or otherwise abused our hospitality,” but also to immigrants convicted of crimes such as domestic violence and assault. This hardline approach reflects the administration’s broader effort to reinforce both immigration integrity and national security.

The situation became especially politicized as many of the affected students were involved in pro-Hamas activism during a period of heightened campus unrest. Civil liberties groups argued that the visa revocations violated First Amendment protections and unfairly targeted students based on their political views.

However, legal experts noted that the U.S. Constitution does not grant non-citizens the same protections when it comes to visa eligibility, and the government maintains broad authority in matters of national interest and immigration. Moreover, many of the revocations were unrelated to campus protests and instead stemmed from legal infractions and other clearly justified causes.

In response to mounting legal pressure, the Department of Justice ultimately reversed the policy, reinstating the immigration records of many affected students. This retreat came amid concern that the mass revocations lacked sufficient due process and could not withstand judicial scrutiny.

Nevertheless, the episode demonstrates that the student visa revocations were not baseless. They were rooted in longstanding laws and enforcement powers that allow the government to revoke visas when non-citizens violate the terms of their stay or pose security risks. While the “Catch and Revoke” policy amplified these measures and sparked controversy, the legal grounds behind such revocations have existed for decades.

To characterize the situation as “student visas pulled for no reason” is factually incorrect. The revocations were based on intelligence, conduct, policy criteria, and in many cases, students simply breaking the law. As usual, the media either lied outright or twisted the truth so far it nearly broke.

The United States will “aggressively revoke” the visas of Chinese students, including those with ties to the Chinese Communist Party, Secretary of State Marco Rubio announced Wednesday in a press statement.

The announcement marks just the latest move by the Trump administration against U.S. universities. Last week, the White House sought to bar international students from attending Harvard, but a federal judge halted implementation.

Rubio, in the statement, said the visa revocation would also apply to Chinese students in “critical fields,” likely referring to the physical sciences. In recent years, several American officials have said that Beijing recruits U.S.-trained scientists.

He added that the federal government would work “to enhance scrutiny of all future visa applications from the People’s Republic of China and Hong Kong.” 

A State Department report published last year said that around 275,000 of the 1.1 million international students in American higher education hailed from China, second only to India, which had a record-high 331,602 students in U.S. colleges and universities.
