On Thursday, May 29, The Gateway Pundit reported that President Trump nominated Paul Ingrassia, a former standout contributor at The Gateway Pundit, to head the United States Office of Special Counsel.

Ingrassia currently serves in the Trump administration as White House Liaison to the Department of Homeland Security. In January, Ingrassia began serving in the Trump administration as White House Liaison to the Department of Justice.

Ingrassia must still secure US Senate confirmation before leading the United States Office of Special Counsel.

On Saturday, May 31, President Trump took another opportunity to congratulate Ingrassia on his prestigious nomination.

Comedian and actress Roseanne Barr leveled explosive claims against ABC and parent company Disney who wrote her out of the title role in the reboot of her iconic show ‘Roseanne’, for what many believe is because the outspoken Barr is conservative and a Donald Trump supporter.

After an initial 10-year run starting in 1988, the show returned in 2018 with most of its original cast, including Barr. That iteration was short-lived. The show was cancelled and Barr was abruptly fired over a tweet about former President Barack Obama and his senior advisor Valerie Jarrett.

The network launched a spinoff of the show, ‘The Connors’, where they killed off Roseanne’s character, wiping away the inspiration and comedic genius behind the original version leaving behind a bland, woke version in its place.

In a new interview with the Daily Mail, Barr breaks her silence on the unceremonious firing and points to a deeper scandal behind her ouster saying that cancel culture gave her network bosses the rationale to get rid of her.

“They were waiting for me to slip up,” the comedian alleged, further claiming that the network’s executives already had it out for her due to her outspoken support for President Donald Trump and conservative views. Barr also accused the network of taking extraordinary steps to axe the show before the post was ever made.

“They spied. They monitored everything I did. They wanted to censor me from the very beginning,” Barr told the Daily Mail. “They hijacked that tweet and made out it said something that it didn’t.”

The comedian also rescinded her apology ,in which she claimed she was “truly sorry for making a bad joke about her politics and looks,” adding that her joke was “in bad taste.”

“The worst mistake you can do is apologize to the left. Then they are on a crusade against you,” she said in the new interview. “Once you admit a mistake, they will keep on until you’re dead.”

On Friday, May 30, President Trump joined Elon Musk in the Oval Office for his final media availability as head of the Department of Government Efficiency.

On Friday evening, President Trump posted a farewell montage video for Elon Musk on Truth Social.

The tribute video begins with footage from President Trump’s final presidential campaign blitz in 2024 with Elon Musk. On the campaign trail, President Trump said,

“I will create a government efficiency commission tasked with conducting a complete financial and performance audit of the entire federal government. As the first order of business, this commission will develop an action plan to totally eliminate fraud and improper payments within six months.”

After spotlighting President Trump signing an executive order “Establishing and Implementing the Department of Government Efficiency,” the montage showcases President Trump speaking at his Joint Address to Congress in February, 2025.

“I have created the brand new Department of Government Efficiency – DOGE. By slashing all of the fraud, waste, and theft we can find, we will defeat inflation, bring down mortgage rates, lower car payments and grocery prices, protect our seniors, and put more money in the pockets of American families,” President Trump said.

As a reminder, these cost-saving initiatives led Democrat officials to call for the demise of Elon Musk, and for the burning of Teslas.

By contrast, in a show of class, President Trump lauded the historic work of Elon Musk in helping him expediently fulfill his campaign promises, reducing government waste, fraud, and abuse, considerably.

“I’ve had a great help with Elon Musk, who’s been terrific. I am very proud of the job this group is doing, at my insistence,” President Trump said.

“We’re talking about hundreds of millions of dollars that’s going to places where it shouldn’t be going. I ran on this, and the people want me to find it.

“We have to take some of these things apart to find the corruption. We found tremendous corruption. Thank you Elon,” President Trump said.

Additionally, the tribute video promoted a weighty statement from Vice President Vance regarding DOGE.

“That is going to do more to unleash innovation, to unleash economic prosperity, when you don’t have this crushing bureaucracy that answers to nobody, sitting on top of the American people,” Vice President Vance said.

The tribute video incorporated a statement from White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt, lending further perspective to the DOGE agenda.

“We are going line-by-line when it comes to the federal government’s books. American taxpayers will see significant savings because of that effort,” Karoline Leavitt said.

Former vice-president Kamala Harris is fading as a contender in the 2028 presidential election, according to latest polling data.

The latest poll from AtlasIntel shows that Harris has dropped back to 16.6 percent of support among likely Democratic voters.

Harris is lagging behind New York Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez at 19.4 percent as the left-wing grassroots seek to rally around a candidate who makes no secret of her intention to turn America into a socialist state.

However, it is former Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg who has emerged as the unlikely frontrunner, garnering 31.5 percent support.

The 43-year-old, who was spectacularly unsuccessful during his stint as Transportation Secretary, previously ran for the Democratic nomination in 2020.

After raising over $75 million, he won 17 percent of the popular vote before dropping out and endorsing Joe Biden.

Other leading contenders included Senator Cory Booker of New Jersey at 10.4 percent, California Governor Gavin Newsom 7.1 percent, Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro at 4.8 percent and Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer at 3.7 percent.

During a recent interview on Substack Live, Buttigieg maintained that “any kind of decision process there is a long way off.”

”There are times I follow that process and decided to run, and there are times I followed that process and decided not to run — and the process can lead you to surprising places,” he explained.

Meanwhile, Vice-President J.D. Vance remains the clear frontrunner in the Republican field, followed by Secretary of State Marco Rubio.

The ASME poll found that 37.3 percent said they preferred Vance as the 2028 presidential nominee, Rubio trailing at 18.7 percent.

Donald Trump Jr. garnered 8.8 percent, while Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis received 7 percent.

Around 16 percent of respondents opted for “none of the above.”

Veteran pollster and election analyst Nate Silver has described AtlasIntel as “top-rated” and credited it as the most accurate polling firm during the 2024 presidential race.

Four days ago, as French President Emmanuel Macron arrived for a Vietnam state visit, he got slapped by his wife Brigitte.

First, he tried to deny it ever happened, blamed AI; then he said it was just playing between them – even though he descended the stairs with clenched fist and a set jaw.

The New York Post brought a lip-reader to decode the conversation between the French President and his wife after she slapped him: Macron offered his hand to his wife, but she rejected him, and whispered: ‘Dégage, espèce de loser’, (‘Leave me alone, pathetic loser’).

Macron even tried to calm her: ‘Essayons, s’il te plaît’ (‘Let’s try, please’). Brigitte replied: ‘No’.

‘Je vois’, Macron says (‘I understand’).

That was a big public humiliation, but today the unpopular former Rothschild banker got an even bigger slap from the French voters.

The Telegraph reported:

“The majority of French voters think Emmanuel Macron has been a failure as president, new poll figures show. Respondents of a new survey delivered a crushing assessment of the French president’s two-term performance, with 82 per cent of voters saying Mr Macron’s centrist Renaissance movement has been a “failure”.

The sentiment is shared among 63 per cent of people who also voted for Mr Macron in the 2017 or 2022 elections.”

Eight out of 10 believe that ‘Macronism’ will be over once he steps out of office in 2027.

“The feeling is similarly strong among the president’s Renaissance supporters, 59 per cent of whom agreed that the president’s centrist movement could disappear by 2027.”

The Odaxa poll was commissioned by Le Figaro, and shows that Macron’s harshest critics ‘include women, low-income households, and voters aged 50 to 64’.

Former First Lady Michelle Obama is facing backlash over her remarks she made about reproductive rights on the latest episode of her less than impressive “IMO with Michelle Obama & Craig Robinson.”

Michelle and her brother and co-host Craig were joined by OB/GYN Dr. Sharon Malone.  Malone’s husband Eric Holder served as Attorney General under former President Barack Obama.

During the discussion, Michelle dismissively remarked that iscreating life is “the least” of what a woman’s reproductive system does.

“I attempted to make the argument on the campaign trail this past election was that there’s just so much more at stake and because so many men have no idea about what women go through,” Obama said.

She continued, “Women’s reproductive health is about our life. It’s about this whole complicated reproductive system that the least of what it does is produce life.”

“It’s a very important thing that it does, but you only produce life if the machine that’s producing it — if you want to whittle us down to a machine — is functioning in a healthy, streamlined kind of way.”

Danielle D’Souza Gill, the wife of Rep. Brandon Gill (R-TX) slammed Obama’s take saying, “Motherhood is the most beautiful and powerful gift God gave women. Creating life isn’t a side effect, it’s a miracle.”

The Biden administration was slow to react after the 2023 derailment of a Norfolk Southern freight train hauling carcinogenic chemicals near the small town of East Palestine, Ohio.  The air was filled with plumes of dangerous gas during a “controlled release” burn.

Despite residents reporting mysterious rashes and headaches following the massive toxic chemical explosion, as well as the death of chickens, pets, marine life, and other wildlife, the Biden-Harris administration was slow to respond.  They were too busy sending money to foreign countries.

Almost seven months later, Joe Biden finally decided to send FEMA executive Jim McPherson to assess the status and address unmet needs.

In an exclusive from News Nation, although new documents from FEMA obtained through the Freedom of Information Act revealed extensive coordination between FEMA, the White House, and other agencies, serious concerns about the impact on residents’ health were buried.

Lesley Pacey, an investigator with the Government Accountability Project, told NewsNation “FEMA knew health care was the No. 1 issue.”

“They also knew that they called this plume a really toxic plume. They knew that there would be the potential for cancer clusters,” Pacey said.

From News Nation:

The agency noted “the occurrence of a cancer-cluster in [East Palestine] is not zero” and expressed the need for a “tripwire to identify cancer clusters.”

Pacey added, “It was only discussed internally, and it actually was discussed all the way up to the White House.

“There’s White House officials and National Security Council officials discussing the dangers of the cancer cluster potential and the health issues and discussing whether or not to release the unmet needs report to the public and to the media.”

Despite the concerns, the Biden administration never released the “Unmet Needs Report” to the public or the media.

Jake Tapper’s CNN show, The Lead with Jake Tapper, hit its lowest ratings this year since 2015, despite his promotional efforts for his new grift. Tapper’s ratings decline coincided with backlash over his new book, which critics argue contradicts his earlier coverage dismissing concerns about President Biden’s mental decline. Despite Tapper’s extensive media tour for the new book, his show’s performance has not improved, marking a decade-low in viewership. Ouch.

The presence of Pride Month in the U.S. Government has completely shrunk since President Trump took office, reflecting a cultural shift.

However, many cities under Democratic leadership still have events and parades scheduled all throughout the month of June, but some cities have experienced a cultural shift, such as in Boise, Idaho.

The Pride Season Kickoff, scheduled for June 6 in Boise, was canceled due to “insufficient attendance.”

Despite having to cancel their event due to a lack of interest from Boise residents, organizers have stated, “We still believe in the idea behind the Pride Season Kickoff, and we hope to revisit it in the future.”

The Pride Season Kickoff, initially scheduled for June 6, has been canceled due to insufficient attendance, despite strong online enthusiasm. The event was intended to enhance LGBTQ+ visibility and community connection in June, serving as a precursor to the main Boise Pride celebration in September.

Organizers expressed their commitment to expanding Pride in Boise, emphasizing the need for active community participation to bring new events to life. “We know the desire for more Pride programming is real—we hear it constantly,” they said. However, they noted that early community buy-in is crucial for the success of events outside the flagship festival.

All tickets for the canceled event have been fully refunded. Organizers remain optimistic, viewing this as an opportunity to “reflect, reset, and come back stronger.” They are focused on preparing for an unforgettable Boise Pride Festival this September and are seeking community support to ensure its success.

“We still believe in the idea behind the Pride Season Kickoff, and we hope to revisit it in the future,” they said, inviting the community to stand with them and help grow the Pride movement in Boise.

In the last few months, Boise has made national headlines after its mayor flew a pride flag outside of City Hall despite Idaho Governor Brad Little signing House Bill 96, which would prohibit a pride flag from being flown outside a government building.
