Dr. Peter McCullough Warns About Parasites In Salmon And Other Fish

(Note: Thank you for supporting businesses like the one presenting a sponsored message below and working with them through the links below which benefits Gateway Pundit. We appreciate your support!)

Many Americans enjoy salmon on a regular basis, including in raw and lightly cooked preparations. Salmon can be a delicious and healthy addition to any family’s diet.

There are, however, legitimate concerns about salmon (and other fish) and the potential for parasites.

Accoding to Dr. Peter McCullough,

Salmon can be infected by several types of parasite worms, most commonly anisakid nematodes (also known as herring worms or cod worms) and Diphyllobothrium tapeworms. Anisakid nematodes are found in marine fish, while Diphyllobothrium tapeworms can infect both freshwater and saltwater fish, including salmon.

The truth is that the medical establishment is all but ignoring the threat of parasites, but this wasn’t always the case.

Before the healthcare bureaucracy’s myopic focus on COVID-19 and other potential pandemics, the Centers for the Disease Control issued a stunning warning about the threat of parasitic diseases here in the United States:

Most people think parasitic diseases occur in poor and developing countries, or are infections they might pick up on a trip to a foreign country. However, parasitic infections also occur in the United States, and in some cases affect millions of people. Often they can go unnoticed, with few symptoms. But many times the infections cause serious illnesses, including seizures, blindness, pregnancy complications, heart failure, and even death. Anyone—regardless of race or economic status—can become infected.

CDC has targeted five neglected parasitic infections (NPIs) in the United States as priorities for public health action based on the numbers of people infected, the severity of the illnesses, or our ability to prevent and treat them. These NPIs include Chagas disease, cysticercosis, toxocariasis, toxoplasmosis, and trichomoniasis.

The threat of parasites is just as high today, as it was just five years ago – the only difference is that our healthcare establishment has all but abandoned doing the necessary work of empowering Americans to take control of their health and preventing dangerous healthcare outcomes before they occur.

Fortunately, freedom-fighting doctors like Dr. Peter McCullough are now speaking up about the threats posed by parasites. In a new post on his widely-read SubStack, Dr. McCullough says:

While each illness has diagnostic strategies followed by care providers, many patients want to take a proactive stance with respect to parasites. The CDC says the burden of parasitic diseases among Americans is high.

More than 300,000 people living in the United States are infected withTrypanosoma cruzi, the parasite that causes Chagas disease, and more than 300 infected babies are born every year.

There are at least 1,000 hospitalizations for symptomatic cysticercosis per year in the United States.

At least 14 percent of the U.S. population has been exposed toToxocara, the parasite that causes toxocariasis, and each year at least 70 people—most of them children—are blinded by resulting eye disease.

More than 60 million people in the United States are chronically infected withToxoplasma gondii, the parasite that causes toxoplasmosis; new infections in pregnant women can lead to birth defects and infections in those with compromised immune systems can be fatal.

Trichomoniasis can cause pregnancy problems and increase the risk of other sexually transmitted infections including HIV. TheTrichomonas parasite is extremely common, affecting 3.7 million people in the United States, although it is easily treatable.

Not only is Dr. McCullough sounding the alarm about the threat of parasites, McCullough is also offering Americans the ability to do something about this threat:

ANOTHER LOW: Former FBI Director James Comey Issues a Nasty Threat to MAGA Nation Days After Trump Assassination Post (VIDEO)

Credit: MSNBC YouTube screenshot

Shameless former FBI director James Comey is now threatening the patriotic supporters of President Trump, days after posting a photo on social media calling for the president’s assassination.

As The Gateway Pundit reported, Comey created a media firestorm earlier this month after he posted a cryptic message to his Instagram account that spelled out in seashells: “86 47.”

“Cool shell formation on my beach walk,” Comey said in his caption.

The “86” is, of course, slang for killing someone, while “47” refers to Trump, who is America’s 47th President. Yes, the former director of the FBI actually posted a message calling for someone to KILL Trump!

On Saturday, Comey spoke with former Biden press secretary Jen Psaki on her MSNBC show to discuss the sick post, Trump’s supposed ‘bullying’ of him, and the FBI’s work under Kash Patel (unsurprisingly, Comey is not a fan).

Things took a bit of a dark turn toward the end when Psaki and Comey began discussing the Trump DOJ’s dramatic slashing of the so-called Office of Public Integrity. Earlier this year, members of the unit abruptly resigned after refusing to sign off on the DOJ withdrawing the federal corruption case against New York City Mayor Eric Adams.

The dismantling of the ‘Public Integrity Office’ was part of a larger effort by the Trump Administration to end the weaponization of government. Other moves included the FBI’s Washington Field Office shutting down its federal public corruption squad, the same unit that aided dirty Jack Smith’s persecution of Trump.

Trump had previously pointed out on various occasions the politically motivated criminal investigations of him. Comey, of course, refused to acknowledge this and instead threatened Republican Trump supporters.

“These are the people who, through decades and decades, have seen every kind of case,’ Comey stated. “And so they’re there to make sure that the work, no matter who’s in charge in the White House, no matter who the attorney general is, that the work is done consistently with previous practice and consistent with the law.”

“I know Republicans these days aren’t big in thinking about principle or precedent,” Comey added. “They’re gonna be deeply sorry that that disappears, because someday there will be a Democratic president and there’ll be investigations of Republican officeholders.”

“If I’m them, I sure would want these career people in place making sure that it’s done in the right way.”

Translation: Back off of my cronies, or accept being a political prisoner under the next Democratic regime.

Watch: Military Airs Powerful New Recruitment Ad Underscoring Departure From Woke Agenda (Video)

Under the Biden-Harris administration, the military was more focused on a woke agenda than war-fighting.

Some of President Donald Trump’s first actions after returning to the White House in January were shifting the military’s DEI focus and returning to building the best fighting force on the planet.

The Gateway Pundit reported that President Trump signed executive orders to root leftist ideology out of the military and prioritize lethality. including the “Restoring America’s Fighting Force” executive order and the “Prioritizing Military Excellence and Readiness” executive order.

Highlighted by the words of Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth and President Trump, a powerful new recruiting ad aired during the Coca-Cola 600 race on Sunday.

As the images highlight warriors rather than drag queens, Secretary Hegseth asserts, “No more distraction. No more electric tanks, no more gender confusion, no more climate change worship.”

“We are laser-focused on our mission of war-fighting.”

President Trump’s words underscore the new direction, “We will measure our success, not only by the battles we win, but also on the wars we end. And perhaps, most importantly, the wars we never get into.”

“It’s called ‘Peace Through Strength.’”

Secretary Hegseth continues, “You look into the eyes of these young Americans who are giving up the best years of their life in a uniform to serve their nation….they are incredible.

President Trump, “Through our power and might, we will lead the world to peace. Our friends will respect us. Our enemies will fear us.”

“And the whole world will admire the unrivaled greatness of the United States military.”

“We will replenish the pride of our Armed Forces, end the recruitment crisis.”

Secretary Hegseth, “We don’t fight because we hate what is in front of us.  We fight because we love what’s behind us.

Democrats’ Joe Biden Health Decline Cover-Up Scandal Is Imploding | Drew Hernandez

Recent revelations about former puppet President Joe Biden’s health, particularly his aggressive prostate cancer diagnosis, have intensified scrutiny over the White House cover-up regarding his mental and physical decline during his presidency. House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer has announced an investigation into Biden’s use of an autopen to sign executive actions and last-minute pardons, questioning whether Biden was mentally fit to authorize these decisions or if aides acted without his consent.

Reports, including a book titled “Original Sin” by Jake Tapper and Alex Thompson, allege that Biden’s inner circle concealed his deteriorating cognitive capacity, prompting Republican lawmakers to demand transparency. The investigation focuses on whether senior staffers, potentially including First Lady Jill Biden, used the autopen to sign documents like pardons for Biden’s family, Anthony Fauci, and January 6 Committee members, raising concerns about who was actually the President. Senator John Cornyn has urged the Department of Justice to probe potential violations of federal law related to misrepresentations of Biden’s health, while President Trump has called the autopen issue a growing scandal.

‘The ‘Politburo’: Here are the Five People Who Allegedly Ran the Biden White House, According to New Tapper Book

The much-maligned new Jake Tapper book has perhaps uncovered some bombshell information regarding who was really calling the shots while Joe Biden occupied the White House.

As The New York Post reported, Liberal journalists Alex Thompson and Jake Tapper, the authors of “Original Sin,” allege that a small group of Biden officials and family members were running the country like a Soviet-style system. At the same time, Biden pretended to be the president.

During an interview with PBS’s “Washington Week” on Friday, Thompson said that these officials were called the Politburo inside the White House.

“In terms of who was running the White House, it’s a small group of people that have been around,” Thompson explained. “Some people within the administration called them the Politburo. “That’s the term we used in the book.”

This ‘Politburo’ included White House senior adviser Mike Donilon, Counselor to the President Steve Ricchetti, Deputy Chief of Staff for Policy Bruce Reed, Biden’s wife Jill, and Hunter Biden. Yes, Hunter was supposedly calling some of the shots for America.

“Five people were running the country, and Joe Biden was at best a senior member of the board,” one source familiar with the inner workings of the White House told Tapper and Thompson.

According to the authors, White House ex-chief of staff Ron Klain also occasionally helped the ‘Politburo’.

As The New York Post notes, these individuals had so much power that they would make key economic decisions for the country without consulting actual elected Biden officials.

“I’ve never seen a situation like this before, with so few people having so much power,” one unnamed cabinet secretary fumed to Tapper and Thompson. “They would make huge economic decisions without calling (Treasury) Secretary Yellen.”

In other news that will surprise precisely no TGP readers, the five members of the ‘Politburo’ saw Biden’s age as merely a political vulnerability, not an actual crisis.

Moreover, according to Tapper and Thompson, Jill, Hunter, and Donilon viewed Biden as a candidate who could run on multiple policy victories, entitling them to a second term ruling America.

The one question that needs to be answered, and the authors fail to address, is which one of the five actually signed all those pardons for Joe Biden? As The Gateway Pundit has extensively reported, the scandal has exploded to the point that both the White House and Congress are now investigating.

If Tapper and Thompson’s information is accurate (and some of it probably is), it is a disgrace that the authors waited until now to tell the public instead of blowing the whistle years ago. But they instead put profit over patriotism.

Watch: School Board Member Loses Grip on Reality Over Prayer Before Meeting – ‘This to Me Is Very Disturbing’

There’s a general rule of thumb in these United States: If you’re a member of a county or local school board and people around the country know your name, that’s so seldom a good sign.

Sure, if you’re a state congressman or local mayor, maybe you’ve gained a modicum of fame for something good. Work further up the ladder — state education official, appointed officer, something to that effect — even more chance that we know your name because you’re doing your job well or did something laudable.

County school board member? No. That means you’ve 1) been arrested or 2) gone bananas.

Credit, then, to Cabarrus County, North Carolina, School Board of Education member Pamela Escobar, who has not been arrested. (Not that I know of, anyhow.) No, we know her because of the fact that she flipped her lid over the fact a fellow member of the board wanted an invocation to open board meetings.

Escobar’s response, in a viral rant? “How much prayer do you need? How much God do you need?”

There are two obvious answers to this. First, as much as you can get. Second, if you disagree with the first, at least a little more, for this woman’s mental state, which does not seem so hot.

The clip, which started going viral a few weeks after the April 14 meeting at which it happened, involved a request from board member Melanie Freeman — who, as Fox News notes, ran with her Christian faith as a foregrounded element — that the meetings start with a prayer.

“From the very beginnings, when the Puritans touched ground in the new world, prayer has been the bedrock of this nation,” she says in the video.

“Today, our U.S. Congress begins each opening day with an invocation before reciting the Pledge of Allegiance … I respectfully make a motion to include an invocation to our agenda and meetings moving forward.”

Melanie Freeman has neither been arrested nor is crazy, so you can forget her name for the rest of this story. Let’s refocus, then, on Pamela Escobar, who was Not Happy with the suggestion.

“Talking about tradition — so, you saw this meeting tonight,” she said, visibly piqued. “It’s beautiful … if you looked at our audience, they don’t look like us. They look like this community. We are diverse. We come from 92 countries, we speak 67 languages.”

“If you put prayer at the beginning of this meeting, I don’t think that’s a welcoming sign to the people who are in this room tonight,” she continued. “Every child belongs, and I would not want to do anything that says to this community, ‘You don’t belong in our school district.’”

I mean, except for ranting about Christians and their wacky prayer habits as weird, which she’s extremely willing to do.

“So this to me is very disturbing, because I think it sends the wrong message that we’re trying to communicate,” she said. “And frankly, we are not in the business of faith or religion!

“That’s not what we do. We teach. We empower, we inspire. And so, to do something that would be the opposite of that is disheartening.”

Yes, prayer is the opposite of teaching, empowering and inspiring to her. This just gets better and better.

“On top of it, this board prays. This board prays before every meeting if you choose to be part of it,” she said, citing a prayer group before meetings.

“How much prayer do you need? How much God do you need?” Escobar said. “This is exclusionary.”

“[School employees] come here to work. To dedicate their lives to children. They didn’t come here to pray with you,” she continued.

“If you want to pray with them, take them to church. You want to be evangelical and do that? Go for it. But not on my time, not on their time and not on this community’s time. We’re not in this business. This is not the time or the place. We’re better than that.”

If “this community” is like Pamela Escobar, oh no they’re not:

According to Fox News, she spoke no less than four times to try to get the invocation off the agenda, including noting how offended she was and about the possibility of opening the district up to a lawsuit.

“I don’t need to participate in that, and I don’t think you need to make the entire school board join you in your prayer. And if you do, then you have to be prepared for people to sue us because they have the right to religious freedom,” she said.

“I don’t know why you need prayer to take this job seriously.”

Apparently, the rest of the board did, because the motion passed 5-2 to draft a written policy regarding the invocation and then invite public comment — which Escobar will doubtlessly give plenty of.

Which is why, naturally, policies like this end up passing.

Here’s the deal, lady: First, we’re completely willing to risk offending some godless people so that we can beg Almighty God for his blessing. Be offended if you want, but offended you will be, and we won’t care.

Two, this was founded as a Christian nation, and we — as Christians — have as much right to defend that as you and your nihilist pals have to try to change it. So sit down and strap in, because you’re in for a fight.

Finally, the Constitution doesn’t provide you or anyone else protection from being offended. That’s a good thing for you, because your godless arrogance offends the rest of us.

Understood? Fair enough. Now, move onto getting this rant off the top of the results page for Google searches for your name, Board Member Escobar.

It’ll take a while.

Terrifying Video Posted of Robbery and Beating of Uniformed NYPD Officer; One Suspect Identified by Police

Terrifying video of the early Saturday morning robbery and beating of a uniformed off-duty New York City housing police officer in the Bronx was posted Sunday night by a retired NYPD cop.

The 27-year-old officer had finished his shift and was walking to his car around 4 a.m. when he was attacked.

The surveillance video shows the officer forced to the sidewalk by two masked, black-clad thugs, one of whom held a knife to his throat, then twice punching the cop in the face, while the other thug robbed the officer of his service weapon, wallet and NYPD issued phones. The helpless officer suffered a broken eye socket after one robber knocked him unconscious with a vicious kick to the head right before the robbers fled.

Excerpt from the New York Post report on the robbery:

An off-duty NYPD housing cop still in uniform was brutally beaten and robbed of his gun and other items by two masked thugs and left unconscious in the Bronx Saturday, police sources said.

The 27-year cop had just ended his shift and was walking to his personal car along St. Peters Avenue in Parkchester around 4:10 a.m. when bandits dressed all in black roughed him up and grabbed his gun belt — with the weapon in it — out of the vehicle.

The cop, who was not immediately identified, suffered a fractured eye socket after being kicked in the head while lying on the floor, sources said.

…The cop was on the phone with another officer when the thugs approached and pleaded to his attackers, “Don’t shoot me! I’m a cop!” before they took off, a source said.

Memorial Day: Living with Purpose to Honor the Fallen

Guest post by Capt Chris Kuehne, USMC (Ret)

As a Marine veteran who has walked the battlefields of Iraq and buried Marines and close friends, their voices still echoing in my quiet moments, Memorial Day is more than a date—it’s a weight I carry every day.

The loss of those warriors, brothers bound by duty and loyalty, is a struggle I’ve faced and continue to grapple with, as do countless service members across the country who bear the scars of grief.

Each year, on the last Monday of May, we’re called to honor the over 1.1 million American service members who gave their lives for our freedoms, from the Revolution to today’s conflicts.

Yet, in 2025, this sacred day is too often drowned out by barbecues, beach trips, and retail sales, reduced to an “extra day off.” Polls show only 46–48% of Americans understand that Memorial Day commemorates those who died in military service.

Inspired by retired Navy SEAL Jocko Willink, I believe we honor the fallen not just by remembering, but by living with purpose and discipline, rejecting the commercial distractions that dilute their sacrifice.

From my perspective, shaped by the enduring pain of loss, this is how we keep their legacy alive and ensure Memorial Day’s meaning endures.

Memorial Day began as “Decoration Day” after the Civil War, a conflict that claimed over 600,000 lives and fractured the nation.

In 1868, it was established to adorn the graves of fallen soldiers with flowers, a gesture of gratitude and reconciliation.

By 1971, it became a federal holiday to honor all U.S. service members who died in wars, from Lexington to Kandahar.

This history demands we see Memorial Day as a tribute to sacrifice, not a summer kickoff.

Yet, a 2024 USAA survey and Talker Research poll show less than half of Americans grasp this purpose, often confusing it with Veterans Day or a generic patriotic celebration.

Jocko Willink, whose words carry the grit of a warrior, cuts through the noise. In a May 2025 X post, he wrote: “Memorial Day isn’t about sales or vacations. It’s about the brave who gave all. Honor them by living with discipline and purpose” (@JockoWillink).

In a YouTube video, he expanded: “Remember me the fallen warrior… not for my sake but for yours. Remember what I sacrificed so you can truly appreciate the incredible treasures” of freedom. His call strikes deep.

The Marines and close friends I lost in Iraq, warriors with quick grins and unwavering loyalty, didn’t die so we could chase “Memorial Day Blowout” deals. They believed in something bigger—duty, brotherhood, freedom.

I can still see them, sharing stories under a desert sky, promising to have each other’s backs. Their deaths left a void that lingers, a grief I navigate daily, as do so many veterans who carry the names of their fallen in their hearts.

Yet, their loss taught me that honoring them means living deliberately, making their sacrifice count.

Willink’s discipline—rising early, owning your actions—mirrors the code I learned in the Corps and carried into my civilian work. It’s about rejecting distractions and living worthy of those we’ve lost.

The commercial tide is strong. Retailers flood inboxes with sales, and AAA reported record-breaking travel in 2024, turning a day of mourning into a leisure milestone.

A 2024 National Centre for Social Research report notes that our digital age prioritizes quick wins, with many focused-on issues like climate change or social justice over history.

I would argue that today’s focus on social media and instant gratification can sometimes overshadow Memorial Day’s meaning. With only 1% of Americans serving, as noted by @DameScorpio, few feel the personal cost of war.

A 2024 Standing for Freedom Center article reveals only 36% of Americans can pass a basic U.S. citizenship test, struggling to explain the Constitution’s principles or why we fought the British.

This gap distances us from the ideals—liberty, self-governance, unity—that my Marines and friends died for.

Memorial Day’s power lies in its call to live worthy of the fallen. The deaths of my Marines and friends drove me to lead with purpose, as I did in the Corps and beyond. The fallen gave “everything” so we could have “everything.”

For veterans like me, who struggle with the enduring pain of loss, this day is a reminder to channel grief into action—serving our communities, raising families with values, or pausing to reflect.

Schools must teach the Constitution and the sacrifices behind it. A 2024 youth group lesson plan framed Memorial Day as freedom’s cost, a model for engaging all ages.

Communities can host memorial services, invite veterans to share stories, or use the National Cemetery Administration’s archives to make history real. My passion for veterans’ honor inspires this—stories of service can bridge gaps across generations.

We all have a role. Visit a veterans’ cemetery, volunteer with a Veteran Organization or support Gold Star families. I urge each of you reading this to take a moment—read about a fallen hero, attend a ceremony, or share their story.

Parents and educators can talk to youth about the 1.1 million who died, making their sacrifices vivid.

For me, and for service members nationwide who wrestle with the same grief, it’s personal: every Memorial Day, I see the faces of my Marines and friends, their courage etched in my heart.

I hear their laughter from desert nights, their vows to never leave a Marine behind, and I vow to keep their memory alive by living with discipline, advocating for veterans, and teaching others why this day matters.

Memorial Day is a debt to those who gave everything. It’s a call to reject the “extra day off” mindset and recommit to the principles they died for.

By fostering education, engagement, and gratitude, we can ensure Memorial Day remains a vibrant tribute, not a forgotten footnote. Let’s honor the fallen by living with purpose, today and always.

Macron’s Office Downplays Awkward Plane Moment as First Lady Appears to Slap President on the Face

French President Emmanuel Macron was caught on camera appearing to be slapped—or at the very least shoved—by his wife Brigitte Macron as they stepped off their presidential plane in Vietnam.

The awkward encounter unfolded Sunday night and has since gone viral, and now the Elysee Palace is in full-blown damage control mode.

As the Macrons arrived for a high-stakes diplomatic visit aimed at rekindling French influence in Southeast Asia, President Macron was caught off guard before he could even wave to the cameras—his wife’s unexpected gesture made him recoil, visibly stunned, before he regained his composure and tried to play it off with a forced smile.

The Elysee Palace wasted no time scrambling to spin the embarrassing footage, calling it nothing more than a “moment of closeness” and claiming the couple was simply “relaxing” and “playfully teasing each other” before starting the official trip.

Le Monde reported:

Macron’s office initially denied the authenticity of the images, before they were confirmed as genuine. A close associate of the president, cited anonymously by Agence France-Presse (AFP), later described the incident as a couple’s harmless “squabble.”

Another member of his entourage downplayed the significance of the incident. “It was a moment when the president and his wife were decompressing one last time before the start of the trip by joking around,” the second source told reporters. “It’s a moment of togetherness. No more was needed to feed the mills of the conspiracy theorists,” the source added, blaming pro-Russian accounts for negative comments about the incident.
