President Trump speaks to reporters at Morristown Municipal Airport – May 25, 2025

President Trump on Sunday took questions from reporters in New Jersey before boarding Air Force One en route to Washington, DC, where he shared unhappiness with the continued fighting between Russia and Ukraine as he seeks to bring peace to the region. 

As The Gateway Pundit reported, Russia continues making steady advances in Ukraine and striking the Capital, Kiev, as NATO countries are dumping unprecedented amounts of military aid to support Ukraine.

President Trump was asked for an update on the war, and he condemned the actions by Putin.

“I don’t know what the hell happened to Putin. I’ve known him a long time, always gotten along with him, but he’s sending rockets into cities and killing people, and I don’t like it at all,” Trump said.

He further noted that this comes as they’re “in the middle of” negotiating an end to the war, and he’s “very surprised” by the move.

The President was also asked about an apparent drone assassination attempt against Putin. Russian Air Force Major-General Yuri Dashkin said that Putin’s helicopter was “virtually at the epicenter of repelling a large-scale attack by the enemy’s drones,” and that 46 drones were shot down during the attack on Sunday.

Trump said he hadn’t heard about it yet, “but maybe that would be a reason.” It is unclear if he meant Russian attacks were the reason behind the attempt, or the contrary, that Russia was attacking because of such Ukrainian aggression. Previously, in 2023, Russian news reported that Ukraine attempted to hit the Kremlin overnight with a drone strike in an assassination attempt on President Putin.

Later in the press gaggle, President Trump said he is “absolutely” considering placing more sanctions on Russia.

In a hilarious exchange between questions, Trump ate one reporter’s lunch when he was asked what he planned to do about Russia’s attacks on Ukraine. “What, am I going to tell you? m the fake news, aren’t you? You’re totally fake,” Trump said.

Reporter: Could you provide us an update on Russia and Ukraine?

Trump: Yeah, I’ll give you an update. I’m not happy with what Putin is doing. He’s killing a lot of people, and I don’t know what the hell happened to Putin. I’ve known him a long time, always gotten along with him, but he’s sending rockets into cities and killing people, and I don’t like it at all, okay? We’re in the middle of talking, and he’s shooting rockets into Kiev and other cities. I don’t like it at all. I’m surprised. I’m very surprised.

Reporter: Mr. President, what are you going to do about that?

Trump: We’ll see what we’re going to do. What, am I going to tell you? You’re the fake news, aren’t you? You’re totally fake… I don’t like what Putin is doing, not even a little bit. He’s killing people. And something happened to this guy, and I don’t like it.

Reporter: A russian commander reportedly said that Putin was almost caught in the middle of a drone attack from Ukraine. So, do you have any response?

Trump: I haven’t heard that, but maybe that would be a reason. I don’t know, but I have not heard that.

Duck Dynasty patriarch Phil Robertson passed away at the age of 79 on Sunday after he was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s.

Phil Robertson’s daughter-in-law, Kori Robertson shared the news on Facebook on Sunday.

“We celebrate today that our father, husband, and grandfather, Phil Robertson, is now with the Lord,” Korie Robertson said.

“He reminded us often of the words of Paul, “you do not grieve like those who have no hope. For we believe that Jesus died and rose again, and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him,” she said.

“Thank you for the love and prayers of so many whose lives have been impacted by his life saved by grace, his bold faith, and by his desire to tell everyone who would listen the Good News of Jesus. We are grateful for his life on earth and will continue the legacy of love for God and love for others until we see him again,” Korie added.

“We know so many of you love him and have been impacted by his life. We’re having a private service for now, but we’ll share details soon about a public celebration of his life,” Korie said.

Phil Robertson was also an outspoken Trump supporter.

“If you’re pro-God and pro-America and pro-gun and pro-duck hunting, that’s all I want,” Phil Robertson said at a Trump rally back in 2019.

Michelle Obama recently had Airbnb CEO Brian Chesky on her podcast and caused a stir after her remarks fantasizing about being single.

Brian Chesky previously announced he turned his home into an Airbnb rental.

‘Empire’ actor and disgraced race-hoaxer Jussie Smollett announced on Friday that he paid $50,000 to the Building Brighter Futures Center for the Arts nonprofit as part of a settlement he entered with the city of Chicago for his infamous 2019 hate crime hoax.

In his announcement of the payout, he continued his con and portrayed himself as a victim of weaponized justice as he continued to peddle his debunked claims that he was targeted and attacked because of the color of his skin.

The City of Chicago previously filed a lawsuit against Smollett after it was revealed he submitted a false police report and was behind the hate hoax crime against himself. Smollett countersued and insisted he did not orchestrate the hate hoax.

Smollett reached a settlement with the city of Chicago last month, 6 years after he orchestrated a hate hoax crime, The Gateway Pundit reported.

In November 2024, the Illinois Supreme Court reversed Jussie Smollett’s conviction after the city had entered a plea deal with Smollett in 2019 in exchange for $10,000 and community service. The Supreme Court did not exonerate Smollett but held that he could not be punished twice and upheld his Fifth Amendment rights against double jeopardy. However, Smollett still contends that he was “exonerated” by the Supreme Court.

The ‘Empire’ actor said the attackers poured bleach on him and put a noose around his neck while verbally abusing him with homophobic and racial slurs.

It turns out Jussie Smollett paid two Nigerian brothers over $3,000 to help him pull off the “MAGA Country” hate hoax crime.

In previously released footage, the Osundairo brothers are seen purchasing all of the supplies for the hate hoax, such as red hats, rope, and bleach.

Despite all of the evidence presented in the court proving Smollett recruited the Nigerians to help him with this hate hoax, the ‘Empire’ actor continues to lie and claim that he was a victim of a real crime.

In a statement posted to Instagram on Friday, Smollett maintained his innocence, alleging a smear campaign by Chicago officials who “set out to convince the public that I willfully set an assault against myself.”

He further claimed he was “exonerated by the Illinois Supreme Court” and “innocent in the eyes of God and our criminal justice system,” which are complete misrepresentations, as he previously entered an agreement with prosecutors.

In an apparent image rehabilitation effort, he also announced that he would donate $10,000 to the Chicago Torture Justice Center, a nonprofit that “seeks to address the traumas of police violence and institutionalized racism through access to healing and wellness services, trauma-informed resources, and community connection,” according to its website.

“To anyone who has had to prove they have in fact been violated, you know how difficult this can be to navigate. I stand with and for you,” he said in a hilarious attempt to relate to the cause.

Over six years ago, after it was reported I had been jumped, City Officials in Chicago set out to convince the public that I willfully set an assault against myself. This false narrative has left a stain on my character that will not soon disappear. These officials wanted my money and wanted my confession for something I did not do. Today, it should be clear…. They have received neither.

The decision to settle the civil lawsuit was not the most difficult one to make. After repeatedly refusing to pay the City, I was presented with an opportunity to make a charitable donation in exchange for the case being dismissed. Despite what happened there politically, Chicago was my home for over 5 years and the people became my family. Therefore, making a donation to benefit Chicago communities that are too often neglected by those in power will always be something I support. I’ve made a $50,000.00 direct donation to Building Brighter Futures Center for the Arts (BBF), a local nonprofit doing incredible work nurturing self expression, creativity and exploration of the arts for Chicago youth. This organization was of my choosing and I’m comforted that there will be at least one winner from this experience.

Though I was exonerated by the Illinois Supreme Court in a unanimous decision and the civil case will now be dismissed, I’m aware that it will not change everyone’s mind about me or the attack I experienced. However, despite arduous and expensive attempts to punish me, I am innocent in the eyes of God and our criminal justice system. What I have to do now is move forward. I will continue creating my art, fighting passionately for causes I hold dear and defending my integrity and family name with the truth.

Lastly, I’m grateful to have had the resources to defend myself. So many do not. They are backed into corners to take deals or confess to crimes they did not actually commit. In their honor, I am donating an additional $10,000.00 to the Chicago Torture Justice Center who provides resources to communities healing from the violence of the Chicago Police Department. To anyone who has had to prove they have in fact been violated, you know how difficult this can be to navigate. I stand with and for you. To everyone who has supported me, thank you. Your prayers and belief in me mean more than words can properly express. I will never take it lightly and will never forget. Onward.

On February 20, 2025, President Trump endorsed US Representative Byron Donalds for the governor of Florida in 2026.

Five days later, Byron Donalds announced his candidacy for the next governor of Florida.

Since February, the lone Republican to challenge Byron Donalds’s candidacy has been Surfside, FL mayor, Charles Burkett. With no national name recognition, Burkett has approximately 5,719 constituents in Surfside, FL, according to US Census Bureau data.

In other words, barring unforeseen circumstances, Burkett’s challenge to Donalds will remain a lost cause.

On the other hand, First Lady of Florida, Casey DeSantis, has the power to upend the Florida governor’s race by mounting a run, herself, in 2026.

According to The Hill, Casey DeSantis has long been mulling a run for Florida governor.

Despite this distinct possibility, however, recent Florida polling finds Donalds to be favored over Casey DeSantis, 44-25%.

With Donalds having secured President Trump’s endorsement, another prominent Florida Republican, former Congressman Matt Gaetz, may be wise to pursue other opportunities similar in magnitude to the Florida governor.

Evidently, Casey DeSantis and Matt Gaetz both have the political capital to force a closely-contested Republican Primary for Florida governor in 2026.

However, if these prominent Florida Republicans decide not to run for governor in 2026, then Donalds appears poised to be elected Florida’s next governor – with Democrat support in Florida hitting a new low.

At such a high probability of being elected the next Florida governor, Donalds recently granted a one-hour interview to Christian Broadcasting Network, in which he revealed, astoundingly, that he “gave his life to Christ in the parking lot of a Cracker Barrel.”

On May 7, Donalds told the Christian Broadcasting Network:

Working at a Florida Cracker Barrel at 21 years old, Donalds was serving a large table made up of a church group. Leaving the table, he went back to rolling silverware and then it happened.

“The Lord spoke to me,” Donalds recalls. “It was like, ‘Stop running from Me.’ And so, it just knocked me back. So I went out to find the table, and they were all gone, and I could see through the windows that they were getting on their bus. So I walked out. My manager’s like, ‘Where are you going?’ I need a second. I walk out there. The last lady’s getting on the bus, and she goes, ‘Yo, man, you okay?’ And I go, ‘No, ma’am, I’m not okay.?’ She goes, ‘what?’ And I go, ‘The Lord is telling me to stop running.’ I still get emotional about it. And so there was a little tree that was right there next to where their van was pulled up, and they all came pouring out the bus. I mean, they just came from a revival. So they’re like, ‘Oh, praise the Lord, we got another one!’ So they pour out of the bus, and they all pray over me, and I gave my life to Christ in the parking lot of a Cracker Barrel.”

After that, his life began to take off.

Escaped New Orleans prison inmates – via Fox

Police arrested four individuals over the weekend on charges related to helping escaped prison inmates in New Orleans evade police

So far, 11 have been arrested for helping the inmates as of Sunday.

As The Gateway Pundit reported, ten inmates, including murderers, at the Orleans Parish Correctional Facility escaped earlier this month.

Some bolts were removed from the outside of the jail wall, so investigators were looking into who was in the area at the time, leading up to the breach.

Ten inmates broke free the prison: Antoine Massey, Lenton Venburen, Leo Tate, Kendell Myles, Derrick Groves, Jermaine Donald, Corey Boyd, Gary Price, Robert Moody, Dkenan Dennis and Keith Lewis.

Footage from inside the prison shows inmates attempting to rip a door open before fleeing, reportedly through a hole hidden behind a toilet.

WATCH:

Law enforcement was able to apprehend half of the escapees. Five, including a murderer, remain on the run. Police have alerted the public that the men are considered armed and dangerous.

Per Fox:

The arrests include 18-year-old Patricia Vanburen, 27-year-old Tyshanea “Minnie” Randolph, 47-year-old Lenton Vanburen Sr., and 40-year-old Angel McKey. A source confirmed to Fox News that Vanburen Sr. is the father of one of the escaped inmates, Lenton Vanburen.

The arrests come days after police apprehended another suspect accused of helping inmates on Friday. Police say Emmitt Weber, 28, helped two of the inmates after the jailbreak at the Orleans Parish Correctional Facility.

Two others — Casey Smith and Cortnie Harris — have been arrested for allegedly aiding the escapees. Another woman, Connie Weeden, 59, allegedly gave cash to Donald via a cellphone app.

The following fugitives are still at large:

Vanburen Jr., 27, faces charges of illegal carrying of weapons, possession of a firearm or weapon by a felon, obstruction of justice and introducing contraband in prison.

Jermaine Donald, 42, faces charges of second-degree murder, aggravated battery, possession of a firearm or weapon by a felon and obstruction of justice.

Antoine Massey, 32, faces charges of domestic abuse involving strangulation, theft of a motor vehicle and a parole violation.

Derrick Groves, 27, faces three counts of attempted second-degree murder, two counts of second-degree murder and battery of a correctional facility employee.

Leo O. Tate Sr., 31, faces charges of simple burglary of an inhabited dwelling, possession of a firearm or weapon by a felon, illegal carrying of a weapon, motor vehicle theft and multiple drug counts.

House Republican Leadership Chairwoman Elise Stefanik delivered the commencement address at Yeshiva University. Stefanik is said to be considering a run for governor in New York.

As reported on her government website,Stefanik who has stood up repeatedly for The Jewish people received the presidential medallion for global leadership. Yeshiva University is well known as the main instituion of Centrist/Modern Orthodox Judaism in America.

Among the highlights of her commencement address include “Thank you very much to Rabbi Berman, whom I had the chance to hear deliver a beautiful and moving benediction at President Trump’s inauguration.” Rabbi Berman who himself is a graduate of Yeshiva University delivered The Jewish benediction at the presidential inauguration.

Stefanik peppered the address with Religious references, including the Counting of The Omer, which is 49 days. As Stefanik put it, “These 49 days of counting are a somber period of reflection, commemorating the 24,000 students of Rabbi Akiva who were killed.”

Stefanik went on to connect the tragedy of the murder of Rabbi Akiva’s students by the Romans to the modern-day tragedy of October 7th. “I have spent many hours with hostage parents and family members,” she declared.

She admired how, in her words, “you fought for and mourned Hersh Goldberg Polin, whose mother Rachel we are all humbled to be with today”.

The congresswoman then proceeded to discuss the violent anti-Jewish hate that still exists. “And in a world today where we have seen grave depravity and atrocities against the Jewish people, the world desperately needs to hear leaders with moral clarity.”

She also quoted the founders and their call for Religious freedom and a society free of anti Jewish persecution.

In reference to George Washington, Stefanik declared “Washington wrote to the Jewish Community of New Port Rhode Island in 1790 May The Children of The Stock of Abraham, who dwell in this land, continue to merit and enjoy the good will of the other inhabitants; while every one shall sit in safety under his own vine and fig tree and there shall be none to make him afraid.”

Positioning herself at the forefront in the fight against Jew hatred she contrasts herself with leftist politicians who only fight Jew hatred when politically convienient.

Unlike the left, Republican leadership from the president on down stand with all people of faith including the Jewish people in fighting violence and intimidation.

Stefanik finished by saying “May Hashem (G-d) bless the work of your hands. May He illuminate your path. And may he grant you the strength to be proud Jews and compassionate citizens in our great country.”

US’ Trump agreed to von der Leyen’s request for an extension on the EU tariff deadline.

Two days ago, US President Donald J. Trump reignited the tariff war with ‘difficult to deal’ European Union, created – according to him – to ‘take advantage of the US’.

In light of the manifold unfair trade practices by the EU, Trump announced a ‘straight 50% Tariff on the European Union, starting on June 1, 2025’.

“The European Union, which was formed for the primary purpose of taking advantage of the United States on TRADE, has been very difficult to deal with. Their powerful Trade Barriers, Vat Taxes, ridiculous Corporate Penalties, Non-Monetary Trade Barriers, Monetary Manipulations, unfair and unjustified lawsuits against Americans Companies, and more, have led to a Trade Deficit with the U.S. of more than $250,000,000 a year, a number which is totally unacceptable. Our discussions with them are going nowhere! Therefore, I am recommending a straight 50% Tariff on the European Union, starting on June 1, 2025. There is no Tariff if the product is built or manufactured in the United States. Thank you for your attention to this matter!”

But today, the US leader announced a new extended deadline of July 9, after receiving a call from EU Commissioner Ursula von der Leyen.

“I received a call today from Ursula von der Leyen, President of the European Commission, requesting an extension on the June 1st deadline on the 50% Tariff with respect to Trade and the European Union. I agreed to the extension — July 9, 2025 — It was my privilege to do so. The Commission President said that talks will begin rapidly. Thank you for your attention to this matter!”

Trump was responding from an earlier X post by von der Leyen (VDL), but he made sure to spell out that she called him, that she made the extension request, and finally that it was his privilege to agree.

By using a strong negotiating stance of ‘not wanting to negotiate at all’, Trump has made VDL bend the knee and ask for negotiations to take place.

During her interview with host John McGrath, Harris took a swipe at Elon Musk and the Trump Administration.

The hilarious Sky News Australia anchors torched Kamala Harris as she arrived to the Gold Coast.

Sky News Australia then went on to troll Kamala Harris after her disastrous real estate conference remarks.

Back in 2018, President Donald Trump tweeted out his concern over the racist South African land and farm seizures and a rash of killings of white farmers.

The liberal media immediately pounced on President Trump and accused him of being a white nationalist.

The mainstream media is the enemy of the people.

Of course, President Trump was right.

There is an actual “land or death” movement taking place in South Africa.

The supporters say they are ready to kill or die for the white-owned land.

In 2018, EFF leader Julius Malema issued a statement directed at President Trump.

Malema called President Trump a “pathological liar” and then admitted that Trump was right — that South African blacks are going after the white-owned farms.
