A sports reporter’s attempt to dunk all over Vice President JD Vance blew up in his face as he made a glaring factual error, which the Veep pounced on.

Earlier this week, Vance gave an interview on Newsmax, speaking about the criticisms of the administration’s crackdown on foreign students studying in the country. He noted that the American space program had been built primarily by people born here, while acknowledging the contributions of German and Jewish immigrants during World War II.

“The American Space Program, the first program to put a human being on the moon, was built by American citizens, some German and Jewish scientists who had come over during World War II,” Vance said. “This idea that American citizens don’t have the talent to do great things, that you have to import a foreign class of servants, I just reject that.”

But this brilliant segment triggered a woke sports reporter named Gregg Easterbrook, who thought he caught Vance in a gotcha moment. He tried to dunk on the VP by claiming that legendary WWII aerospace engineers Wernher Von Braun and Arthur Rudolph entered America as refugees to work on the Apollo Space program.

Of course, Von Braun and Rudolph did not enter America as refugees. As Grok notes, they were recruited under Operation Paperclip and arrived in September 1945 to work on U.S. military and space programs.

They did not have refugee status because they were not fleeing persecution.

This fact was not lost on Vance as he promptly smacked down Easterbrook by asking just one question: where was Von Braun a refugee from?

Chaos broke out at the California high school track and field championships on Friday as a boy pretending to be a girl stormed ahead of his ‘competitors’, with at least one person arrested.

As The Daily Mail reported, several LGBTQ activists and women’s rights protesters attended the event in Clovis when at least one fight erupted while the teen athletes were competing. Unsurprisingly, the leftist was the aggressor.

Fox News confirmed via the Clovis Police Department that the person arrested during the incident was an LGBTQ activist. The individual is accused of shattering a car window with a flag pole.

The Clovis Police Department released the following statement to Fox News:

This afternoon at 3:55 PM, a disturbance between two adults occurred at the intersection of Nees/Minnewawa. One adult on the sidewalk and one in a vehicle at the intersection became involved in a disturbance that turned physical.

During the disturbance, one of them used pepper spray against the other. EMS was called, and one of the adults was arrested.

Sergeant Chris Hutchison told the outlet that the person has been arrested for assault with a weapon and obstructing a police officer.

“We don’t have room for violence or property damage or anything like that,” Hutchison said.

Also, during the competition, a plane carrying a banner featuring the message “CIF: NO BOYS IN GIRLS’ SPORTS” flew in circles throughout Hernandez’s high jump event.

The banner action was organized by women’s rights advocacy groups, the Independent Council on Women’s Sports (ICONS) and Women Are Real (WAR). They attacked the CIF for “undermining the integrity of women’s sports.”

“California is beginning to reap the consequences of defying federal law and brazenly harming girls,” said Kim Jones, co-founder of ICONS, in a press release obtained by Fox News.

“How long will Governor Newsom and legislators in this state continue to prioritize granting a few boys the right to take opportunities and recognition away from girls? Not one single boy should ever be in girls’ sports,” she added. “It’s the easiest problem in the world to solve—and the most brazen public ‘screw you’ to female athletes by Democrat leadership.”

“Since when do we tell a single boy he is more important than every girl in the competition? That he has the right to ruin sports for all of them? It’s time for California to pay, and it’s time to right these wrongs.”

Many women’s rights protesters wore “Save Girls’ Sports” T-shirts. According to the Orange County Register, someone yelled an insult at Hernandez as he was attempting a high jump.

Unfortunately, these actions had no effect on Hernandez, as he easily cruised through the preliminaries, putting himself in the driver’s seat to finish first later today.

He finished the triple jump with a mark close to 41 feet, nearly 10 inches ahead of his closest competitor, San Francisco Bay Area junior Kira Gant Hatcher.

Hernandez also led in the long jump with a mark close to 20 feet to advance to the final. He advanced in the high jump, clearing 5 feet, 5 inches with ease.

The prelim results now leave the transgender athlete in prime position to claim a podium finish over his opponents in Saturday’s finals.

The Gateway Pundit previously reported, 16-year-old Reese Hogan, a star track athlete from Crean Lutheran High School in Irvine, was competing in Division 3 of the California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) Southern Section Finals. She set a personal record during the event and shattered her school’s record in the triple jump at 37 feet, 2 inches during the May 17 meet.

In an honest competition, this would have been enough to place first. Unfortunately, Hogan’s lost to a boy named AB Hernandez from Jurupa Valley High School by a whopping four feet. Hernandez is now expected to compete in the California championships.

President Trump issued an executive order in February, which was supposed to ensure that biological men could not compete in women’s sports. But California and other blue states have decided to defy Trump’s order and continue to allow men to compete against women.

It’s less than a month after Lucy Powell said that the Pakistani rape gangs was a ‘dog whistle’ issue, and now the controversy surrounds the British Attorney General after he compared calls to leave the European Convention on Human Rights (ECHR) to ‘the rise of Nazism’.

Lord Baron Hermer was forced to apologize yesterday (30) for saying that politicians wanting to leave the ECHR are like legal experts in 1930s Germany, who ‘rejected international law and human rights in favor of state power’.

“Following an outcry from Conservative and Reform MPs, Lord Hermer’s spokesman said he acknowledged that ‘his choice of words was clumsy and regrets having used this reference’, in an apology released by Downing Street.

The row, an attack on the Tories and Reform, is a particular headache for Sir Keir as it comes less than a week before the Scottish Parliament by-election in Hamilton, Larkhall and Stonehouse, where Nigel Farage’s party will challenge Labour, a month after seizing hundreds of seats in the local elections.”

Starmer’s poll numbers took a nosedive as soon as he became PM and showed voters his real policies.

Conservative Party leader Kemi Badenoch said Lord Hermer has shown appalling judgment time and again: ‘Now he’s calling people who disagree with him Nazis’.

“This isn’t just embarrassing, it’s dangerous. Hermer doesn’t understand government. He believes in the rule of lawyers, not the rule of law. If Keir Starmer had any backbone, he’d sack him. But will he risk upsetting his old friend and former donor? I doubt it.”

Reform UK’s Nigel Farage, who also backs leaving the ECHR, said that the damage to the nation continues, and that Hermer ‘sums up this failing Government’.

“Robert Jenrick, the shadow justice secretary who has also backed quitting the treaty, said: ‘Lord Hermer’s appalling smear shows the complete disdain with which Labour views people who care about border security. He is a liability that you can’t trust to defend Britain’s interests. Starmer hasn’t sacked him because he shares his anti-British, hard-Left world view’.”

Farage’s Reform UK is now leading the polls, leaving Starmer’s Labour behind.

There is also concern on his Labour party, where the comments are called ‘extreme and foolish’.

One of the world’s most famous candies will no longer have a dangerous ingredient linked to cellular and DNA damage.

A spokesperson for Mars Wrigley, which is based in New Jersey, informed Fox News this week that the company has removed the potentially dangerous and addictive titanium dioxide from Skittles in America.

The news comes following a report released by the Make America Healthy Again (MAHA) Commission last Thursday. The commission, chaired by HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr., addressed chronic diseases, especially those in children.

The report listed several potentially concerning food additives, including titanium dioxide. It noted that titanium dioxide is “widely used in a range of candies and sauces (and) may cause cellular and DNA damage.”

“Our commitment to quality is what has enabled Mars to be enjoyed by consumers for over a century, and nothing is more important than the safety of our products,” the Mars Wrigley spokesperson told Fox News.

“All our products are safe to enjoy and meet the high standards and applicable regulations set by food safety authorities around the world, and that’s something we will never compromise on,” the spokesperson added.

Titanium dioxide is used in foods to make them look whiter and more opaque. In 2022, the European Union banned it following a report by the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) that pointed to the additive’s genotoxicity.

That same year, Mars’ Wrigley faced a class-action lawsuit over the use of titanium dioxide in Skittles, which was dismissed.

Back in September 2024, Kennedy posted an informative video below on how the FDA is signing off on the alleged poisoning of Americans.

“When it’s the government that approves the poisons in our food, a few people get very, very rich,” said Kennedy. “And the toxins end up in every supermarket aisle.”

Drop charges and deport. Despite claims from the media and liberal critics, gang members, terrorists, and deportees are receiving due process through the coordinated efforts of the FBI and ICE.

At a press briefing following the arrest of top MS-13 leader Henry Josue Villatoro, FBI Director Kash Patel called the operation a model of law enforcement success. He praised the Trump administration for restoring federal agencies’ ability to act decisively in the fight against violent crime.

Delivering a now-viral statement, Patel said, “This is what happens when you let good cops be cops.”

He warned that the threat to public safety in America is urgent and growing, citing grim statistics: an American dies every seven minutes from a drug overdose, a woman or child is raped every six and a half minutes, and a homicide occurs twice an hour. “No part of that metric is a safe and secure America,” he said.

More recently, headlines like “Justice Department to drop all charges against man it called a top MS-13 gang leader” may appear to give liberals and Democrats exactly what they’ve been demanding: a soft-on-crime, zero-deportation approach. In reality, dropping charges is part of the Trump administration’s tough stance on crime, used strategically to fast-track deportations.

Here are the details of the case and how dropping charges helps keep America safe. Henrry Josue Villatoro Santos, a Salvadoran national, was arrested in Virginia in March 2025. The FBI and DOJ identified him as a senior MS-13 leader responsible for organizing violent crimes along the U.S. East Coast. He was charged with a single count: possession of a firearm by an illegal alien—a federal crime, but not one carrying major penalties.

In April 2025, the Justice Department moved to dismiss the charge “without prejudice,” meaning it can be refiled later. The move was strategic: instead of spending years on prosecution, the administration prioritized immediate deportation to El Salvador.

The defense attorney may argue that deporting Villatoro without a U.S. conviction violates his rights or due process protections. But this claim does not hold up under U.S. law. The Department of Justice, as the prosecuting authority, has full legal discretion to drop charges, especially when done “without prejudice,” allowing for future prosecution if needed.

There is no legal obligation for the government to pursue a trial if it determines that immediate deportation better serves justice or national security. In fact, a dropped charge benefits the defendant by ending criminal exposure in U.S. courts. Due process only requires that any legal action taken against the defendant comply with U.S. law. It does not require that a trial occur if the government chooses not to proceed.

Under U.S. law, constitutional due process protections apply only within American jurisdiction. U.S. courts and attorneys have no legal authority to dictate laws, criminal procedures, or prison conditions in sovereign nations like El Salvador. Therefore, objections based on potential outcomes after deportation—such as incarceration in a Salvadoran facility—carry no legal weight in U.S. deportation proceedings. The court’s only duty is to ensure that the removal process itself complies with domestic law. What happens after the deportee enters another nation’s custody is governed solely by that nation’s legal system.

Critics and media outlets have accused President Trump of deporting individuals to “gulags” or foreign concentration camps without due process. In reality, deportations are carried out legally and with due process under U.S. law. Once a person is removed, they fall under the jurisdiction of the receiving country, where U.S. legal standards no longer apply.

Many nations, especially those facing gang violence or terrorism, imprison deportees immediately upon arrival. El Salvador is the most prominent example. Under President Nayib Bukele, the government treats MS-13 and 18th Street members as national security threats. Deportees with known affiliations are typically sent straight to prison, often to the Terrorism Confinement Center (Centro de Confinamiento del Terrorismo, or CECOT), a high-security facility known internationally as the “mega-prison.”

In Guatemala, individuals with gang ties or outstanding warrants may be detained upon entry, with national security laws permitting extended pre-trial detention.
In Honduras, new anti-gang legislation has led to the immediate detention of suspected gang members, often in coordination with U.S. authorities.

In Colombia, deportees linked to guerrilla groups such as ELN or narco-terror networks are frequently arrested under domestic anti-terror laws.

This pattern extends beyond Latin America. Turkey detains nationals deported for terrorism, especially those linked to ISIS. Russia frequently arrests returnees accused of organized crime or extremism. China is known to imprison or re-educate individuals deported for espionage or religious activities, though such actions are rarely acknowledged officially.

The Trump administration’s policy, carried out by the Justice Department and FBI, reflects a broader shift toward prioritizing immigration enforcement and removal over prolonged prosecutions, especially for foreign nationals.

The strategy emphasizes deterrence through swift deportation, showing that illegal presence in the U.S., particularly with gang ties, is grounds for immediate removal, even if charges are dropped. It also counters liberal prosecutors and defense attorneys who might drag cases out for years, allowing suspects to remain in the U.S., often free on bail, at great cost to taxpayers.

Week three of the Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ trial concluded yesterday (30) with the final part of ex-assistant ‘Mia’ testimony, followed by the beginning of the cross-examination by the defense.

The woman sobbed as she testified anonymously under a pseudonym, telling the jury she felt controlled and manipulated by the powerful, violent mogul.

Diddy is accused of using his fame and fortune – and many businesses – to run a sex-trafficking and racketeering organization.

New York Post reported:

“Mia — who is testifying anonymously for a second day — claimed the Bad Boy Records founder threatened to fire her and even kill her when she was on a trip with Combs’ girlfriend Cassie Ventura in South Africa in October 2015. Ventura found out that Combs cheated on her with a woman named Gina, and the ‘I’ll Be Missing You’ rapper was furiously trying to speak with his girlfriend.”

Diddy threatened her job and then escalated to threatening to kill her, she testified.

“At another point, while Mia was asleep in the country on a different time zone, she woke up to 48 missed calls and many texts saying ‘CALL ME NOW’.

’If you don’t call me now f–k it all. And imma tell everything’, Combs wrote in a WhatsApp message to Mia on Oct. 31, 2015. ‘And don’t ever speak to me again. You have 2 mins. Fuck her [Cassie]. Call my hs [house] or never speak to me again. … Let’s go to war’.”

On another occasion, Diddy raged at ‘Mia’ because she was taking too long to count over $100,000 in cash.

When Mia left the hip hop mogul’s company in 2017, she told the jury, she settled for $400,000, but never raised the fact that she was sexually assaulted: ‘I was going to die with this’.

When it was time for the cross-examination, Mia didn’t back down on her claims when pressed about the truth of her testimony that Diddy sexually assaulted her, saying: ‘What I said in this courtroom is the truth. I have not lied to anyone at all’.

The Independent reported:

“[Defense lawyer] Brian Steel asked Mia if the abuse she claims to have suffered at Combs’ hands had left her ‘broken’. ‘The sexual abuse was part of the way he ruined me, yes’, Mia responded.”

She testified that she had to ask ‘permission’ anything.

“She said had friends but was not allowed to see or speak to them. ‘I did not have an external sounding board’, and I had to get permission to leave or do things. I had to beg to go to my grandma’s funeral.”
