Wicked Obama Judge Disregards Supreme Court Ruling in Latest Move After Ruling DOGE Takeover of Institute of Peace is Illegal

On Friday US District Judge Beryl Howell disregarded the Supreme Court’s ruling on Trump’s authority to fire labor board members in her decision to deny a stay of her finding that Trump’s ousting of US Institute for Peace officials (USIP) was unlawful.

The US Supreme Court on Thursday allowed President Trump to fire labor board members in a 6-3 decision.

“Because the Constitution vests the executive power in the President, see Art. II, §1, cl. 1, he may remove without cause executive officers who exercise that power on his behalf, subject to narrow exceptions recognized by our precedents, see Seila Law LLC v. Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, 591 U. S.197, 215−218 (2020),” the Supreme Court’s decision said.

The high court said there would be more harm to President Trump in denying his right to remove the Biden-appointed officials.

“The stay also reflects our judgment that the Government faces greater risk of harm from an order allowing are moved officer to continue exercising the executive power than a wrongfully removed officer faces from being unable to perform her statutory duty,” the Supreme Court said.

However, Howell, an Obama appointee, said the Supreme Court’s ruling on NLRB and MSPB firings are not relevant to this case because USIP “does not exercise executive power and thus is not part of the Executive branch.”

“[T]he President does not have absolute constitutional removal authority over USIP Board members but must comply with the statute in exercising his removal power,” Howell wrote in her 7-page ruling reviewed by The Gateway Pundit.

Earlier this week Howell ruled that DOGE’s takeover of the US Institute of Peace (USIP) was illegal.

The radical Obama judge reinstalled ousted Acting USIP President George Moose and banned DOGE workers from entering the facility.

As previously reported:

In March, the fired president, George Moose, refused to leave the Institute of Peace’s building in Washington DC, prompting a standoff with law enforcement.

The Institute of Peace was created in 1984 under the Reagan Administration. George Moose is an old Clintonite who refused to leave after Trump signed an executive order reducing the USIP to its “statutory minimum.”

DOGE attempted to evict George Moose and other officials of the USIP in March but Musk’s workers were forced to call law enforcement amid a standoff.

Police intervened after Acting USIP President Kenneth Jackson was denied entry.

Mr. Moose denied lawful access to Kenneth Jackson, the Acting USIP President (as approved by the USIP Board). @DCPoliceDept arrived onsite and escorted Mr. Jackson into the building. The only unlawful individual was Mr. Moose, who refused to comply, and even tried to fire USIP’s… https://t.co/Fy8hJClx9E pic.twitter.com/yqq81qNKXM

— Department of Government Efficiency (@DOGE) March 18, 2025

“MPD members went to the USIP building and contacted an individual who allowed MPD members inside of the building,” the Metro police said. “Once inside of the building, the acting USIP President requested that all the unauthorized individuals inside of the building leave.”

George Moose was escorted out of the building by MPD without incident. No arrests were made.

The US Institute of Peace sued to block DOGE’s takeover.

Judge Beryl Howell previously denied an emergency TRO but she blasted DOGE for their treatment of USIP president George Moose – who literally barricaded himself in the building after he was fired.

“Are you the least bit offended by how this was executed, Mr. Hudak? I have to say, I’m offended on behalf of the American citizens who have done so much, as I just said, with Mr. Moose himself, so much service to this country to be treated so abominably, let alone the directors on the board,” Judge Howell said to Assistant US Attorney Brian Hudak.

The DOJ official responded to Howell with common sense: “If I’m fired and I decide to barricade myself into the US attorney’s office…I’m assuming some of my colleagues would say, ‘Brian, what are you doing? Here’s your termination letter, you need to leave.’ I’m assuming it would escalate from there…I’m assuming the police would be called.”

Howell wasn’t offended by the petulant USIP official refusing to leave after he was fired from his job. She was offended that DOGE used law enforcement and other forceful yet lawful incentives to remove George Moose.

George Moose previously called it an “illegal takeover.”

White House Turns Press Room Over to Children and the Important Questions Actually Get Asked

In a moment of levity at the White House, the kids were able to give the news media the boot at the press briefing and took over for some heavy-hitting questions.

In a viral moment that was part of the White House’s annual “Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day” celebration on Tuesday, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt turned over her briefing to questions that she probably wasn’t used to.

Instead of being hounded about the latest policy or news surrounding President Donald Trump, Leavitt found herself answering some truly heavy-hitting questions from the children of journalists and White House officials.

“What’s Donald Trump’s favorite ice cream, he wants to know,” one adult in the room told Leavitt, speaking up for a muted child reporter.

Leavitt answered, “I have seen the president eat ice cream sundaes before, with chocolate sauce, and some toppings, too.”

Another key question, in case the president ever finds all six Infinity Stones, or something: “If the president had a superpower, what would it be?”

“Wow. If the president could have a superpower, what would it be? That is a very good question,” Leavitt said.

“I think, if he had a superpower, it would be to just snap his fingers and solve all of our country’s problems just like that, because he likes to get things done very quickly.”

There was one question from a child that almost sounded like the traditional media.

“How many people has he fired?” a young girl asked.

After some immediate laughter, Leavitt took a moment to answer.

“Thus far, actually, we have not had anyone fired, with the exception of one individual who did leave their job,” Leavitt said. “But we have a great team here, so far, so good.”

You can watch all the heartfelt interactions below:

Of course, taking a turn as the Fourth Estate was hardly the only thing the children got to do on Tuesday.

The kids also got to spend time with First Lady Melania Trump in the Kennedy Garden.

“It is always special to see children’s creativity and spirit on display, especially here at the White House where so many hardworking men and women support the success of our Nation every day,” she said.

Activities with Melania Trump included decorating wooden American flags.

JUST IN: President Trump Announces BIG Rally on May 30 to Celebrate Massive Investment in US Steel – Partnership with Nippon Steel will “Create at Least 70,000 jobs, and Add $14 Billion Dollars to the U.S. Economy”

President Trump smiles as Steel Nation, Inc. founder Mark Caskey speaks at a rally in Johnstown, PA, August 30, 2024, photo by Kristinn Taylor.

President Trump announced on Friday that the American steelmaker, United States Steel Corporation, will stay in America and add thousands of jobs and billions of dollars to the economy.

This comes after President Trump hosted Japanese Prime Minister Shigeru Ishiba at the White House in February and previewed an investment by Japan’s Nippon Steel Corp. in U.S. Steel.

Previously, under Biden, Nippon Steel was set to acquire United States Steel Corporation in a cash transaction valued at nearly $15 billion, raising questions about the future of American industry and labor amid larger national security conversations.

U.S. Steel is a steel producer that supplies products to many industries, including automotive, construction, appliances, energy, containers, and packaging. It was founded in 1901 and is headquartered in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. As of 2022, U.S. Steel was the 27th largest steelmaker in the world, producing about 14.5 million tons of liquid steel annually.

Trump made the announcement in a Truth Social post on Friday.

“This is the largest Investment in the History of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania,” he said, crediting his tariff policies for the boom in “AMERICAN MADE” products:

I am proud to announce that, after much consideration and negotiation, US Steel will REMAIN in America, and keep its Headquarters in the Great City of Pittsburgh. For many years, the name, “United States Steel” was synonymous with Greatness, and now, it will be again. This will be a planned partnership between United States Steel and Nippon Steel, which will create at least 70,000 jobs, and add $14 Billion Dollars to the U.S. Economy.

The bulk of that Investment will occur in the next 14 months. This is the largest Investment in the History of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. My Tariff Policies will ensure that Steel will once again be, forever, MADE IN AMERICA. From Pennsylvania to Arkansas, and from Minnesota to Indiana, AMERICAN MADE is BACK. I will see you all at US Steel, in Pittsburgh, on Friday, May 30th, for a BIG Rally. CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL!

U.S. Steel issued a statement in response, commending President Trump’s “bold” leadership.

“We will grow bigger and stronger through a partnership with Nippon Steel that brings massive investment, new technologies, and thousands of jobs over the next four years,” the company said.

President Trump is a bold leader and businessman who knows how to get the best deal for America, American workers and American manufacturing.

U. S. Steel will remain American, and we will grow bigger and stronger through a partnership with Nippon Steel that brings massive investment, new technologies and thousands of jobs over the next four years.

U. S. Steel greatly appreciates President Trump’s leadership and personal attention to the futures of thousands of steelworkers and our iconic company.

What RFK Jr, Joe Rogan and Mel Gibson Have In Common: The “Miracle” Drug Keeping Them Young

(Note: Thank you for supporting businesses like the one presenting a sponsored message below and working with them through the links below which benefits Gateway Pundit. We appreciate your support!)

Mel Gibson’s appearance on the Joe Rogan Experience earlier this year set the internet on fire. Gibson, who isn’t shy about sharing his opinions, beliefs and experiences, made news talking about the cancer-fighting potential for Ivermectin.

In that same interview, Gibson shared his experience with Methylene blue – an experience shared by Joe Rogan:

One of the other drugs discussed during this conversation was methylene blue—a medical dye that has been in use for over a century. After Gibson indicated his friends are “drinking” methylene blue, Joe Rogan said the substance has “profound effects on your mitochondria,” to which Gibson replied in agreement: “This stuff works, man.”

It’s not just Joe Rogan and Mel Gibson who swear by Methylene blue. MAHA godfather and current Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr was seen on video earlier this year using methylene blue while on a flight.

Few men have defied the effects of Father Time better than the trio of Joe Rogan, Mel Gibson and RFK Jr. So it’s not surprising that everyone is looking for more information on Methylene blue. While Methylene blue is just now going mainstream, it isn’t new to many in the know, according to The New York Post:

In recent years, celebrities, wellness influencers and biohackers have touted methylene blue for several off-label uses, claiming it can boost energy levels and metabolism, enhance cognitive function and combat aging — though evidence remains limited.

Early research suggests that methylene blue may have antioxidant properties that help reduce toxic proteins in the brain, potentially aiding in the prevention of neurodegenerative diseases like Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s.

Some studies also indicate that the drug may help delay skin aging by stimulating the production of collagen and elastin, reducing cellular damage and promoting wound healing.

WHAT IS METHYLENE BLUE?

First used in the 1800s, today, this century-old compound is FDA-approved for methemoglobinemia (a condition in which the blood can’t carry oxygen properly) but has garnered renewed interest for its off-label applications, particularly in enhancing mitochondrial function, combating neurodegenerative diseases, and as adjunct treatment of long COVID.

How methylene blue works and its “off-label” uses:

Energy Backup: Methylene blue acts like a “backup generator” for your cells’ energy factories (mitochondria). When part of the energy production line (specifically “Complex I”) breaks down—due to toxins, disease, or aging—methylene blue moves electrons directly to later stages of the energy-making process, allowing cells to keep producing energy (ATP) even when parts of the system are damaged.

Oxidative Stress Reduction:It acts like a molecular sponge, soaking up harmful molecules called reactive oxygen species (ROS) that damage cells. By neutralizing these destructive molecules, it reduces oxidative stress—a key contributor to aging and diseases like Alzheimer’s. It also blocks caspase-6, an enzyme that drives brain inflammation and kills neurons in Alzheimer’s patients. Think of it as a two-in-one protector: it calms oxidative damage while stopping the enzyme that fuels brain cell death.

HOW YOU CAN GET METHYLENE BLUE

The medical experts at The Wellness Company – like Dr. Peter McCullough and Dr. Kelly Victory – were leaders in the efforts to provide the public with accurate medical information during COVID. These experts have repeatedly shown that they prioritized the health and welfare of their patients over the bottom line of the big pharmaceutical companies.

Now the experts at The Wellness Company are making methylene blue available to you at home with RECHARGE!

RECHARGE your cells with the first-ever combination of Methylene Blue and Urolithin A. Experience enhanced cognitive function and ultimate mitochondrial health.

From sharper thinking to stronger cells, Methylene Blue enhances how your brain and body perform by enhancing mental clarity and focus, supporting blood flow, and increasing ATP production.

Urolithin A promotes healthy aging by activating mitophagy. Mitophagy helps the body to recycle and rebuild mitochondria (the powerhouses of your cells) and enhances the benefits of Methylene Blue.

RECHARGE has been scientifically formulated with research-backed ingredients to enhance mental clarity and focus and support ultimate mitochondrial health. Methylene Blue and Urolithin A are a powerful combo with potent antioxidants for healthy, youthful cells.

Be like Bobby (Kennedy)! Add Methylene blue (and Urolithin A) to your healthcare regimen today! Order RECHARGE now!

New Report Shows Muslim Brotherhood Infiltrating French Republic Institutions To Lead the Country to Sharia Law – Macron Demands Cabinet Come up With Solutions to Problem

While Emmanuel Macron focuses on Ukraine, the Muslim Brotherhood is infiltrating France.

Among the manifold French problems brought about by the suicidal policy of unchecked mass migration, the Islamist infiltration of their society is one of the most troubling.

And as much as the usual ONGs and Muslim societies deny this is even taking place, a new report shows that Islamists are infiltrating France’s republican institutions, and are indeed a serious threat to ‘national cohesion’.

The report shows evidence of ‘entryism’ by the Muslim Brotherhood into public bodies, like schools and local government.

BBC reported:

“After a meeting of his security cabinet, Macron asked the government to come up with “new proposals” by early next month in light of the seriousness of the report’s conclusions.”

An Élysée palace source say there is a new phenomenon of entryism, ‘which is different from separatism’.

“While separatism implied Muslims living in a parallel society in France, “entryism means getting involved in republican infrastructure… in order to change it from the inside. It requires dissimulation… and it works from the bottom up,” the official said.

In a copy of the report published in Le Figaro newspaper, the authors identified the Federation of Muslims of France (FMF) as the main French emanation of the historic Muslim Brotherhood, which was founded 100 years ago to promote a return to core Islamic values.”

Under-the-radar Islamists want France under Sharia Law.

The FMF controls around 7% of the total worship places in the country. Its officials connect with local authority, and eventually, the Islamist rules are imposed.

The Federation reacted with anger at ‘allegations that associates them with a foreign political program’.

“’Confusing Islam with political Islamism and radicality is not only dangerous, but counter-productive for the Republic itself’, the FMF said. ‘Behind these unfounded accusations there is a plan to stigmatize Islam and Muslims’.”

Interior minister Bruno Retailleau, leader of the conservative Les Républicains party, warned of Islamism trying to infiltrate institutions, to tip the whole of French society under sharia law.

“Municipal elections are due in France next year, and Retailleau – who has won a reputation as a hardliner – has said he is concerned about the possibility of Islamic lists of candidates.”

Harvard Admits Trump’s Crackdown is Having ‘Devastating’ Impact on University — But Will Keep Fighting Him Anyway

Harvard

Harvard University has admitted that President Trump’s crackdown is having a “devastating” impact on the institution.

Earlier this week, the Department of Homeland Security informed Harvard University that it will no longer be permitted to issue student visas for international applicants.

The decision follows Harvard’s failure to supply documentation confirming that it adheres to U.S. laws prohibiting discrimination, toleration of campus violence, and collaboration with authoritarian foreign regimes.

This administration is holding Harvard accountable for fostering violence, antisemitism, and coordinating with the Chinese Communist Party on its campus.

It is a privilege, not a right, for universities to enroll foreign students and benefit from their higher tuition payments… pic.twitter.com/12hJWd1J86

— Secretary Kristi Noem (@Sec_Noem) May 22, 2025

In their lawsuit against the ban, Harvard described the “devastating” effect it would have on the instutition:

Yesterday, the government abruptly revoked that certification without process or cause, to immediate and devastating effect for Harvard and more than 7,000 visa holders.

…

With the stroke of a pen, the government has sought to erase a quarter of Harvard’s student body, international students who contribute significantly to the University and its mission.

Effective immediately, most of Harvard’s thousands of enrolled [foreign] F-1 and J-1 visa students (and their more than 300 dependents) will have little choice but to secure transfer to another school or risk being rendered without lawful status in the United States.

Without its international students, Harvard is not Harvard.

The move has since been suspended by an Obama judge, Allison Dale Burroughs, before it inevitably ascends to a higher court.

BREAKING: Obama Judge BLOCKS Trump Administration from Stripping Harvard’s Ability to Enroll Foreign Students

In a statement after her ruling, White House spokeswoman Abigail Jackson said, “unelected judges have no right to stop the Trump Administration from exercising their rightful control over immigration policy and national security policy.”

Last month, it was reported that Harvard and several other universities had formed a “private collective” to try and coordinate their response against the administration.

“Maintaining close contact, they have discussed red lines they won’t cross in negotiations and have gamed out how to respond to different demands presented by the Trump administration, which has frozen or canceled billions in research funding at schools it says haven’t effectively combated antisemitism on their campuses,” The Wall Street Journal noted at the time.

Watch: CNN’s Kaitlan Collins Bristles When RFK Jr. Tells Her the Truth About the Mainstream Media

CNN’s Kaitlan Collins was not pleased during a Thursday interview she had with Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr., when he accused the media of being complicit in spreading false information during the COVID pandemic.

“You know, one of the big mistakes that you and many of your media colleagues made during COVID is to try to convince the American people that they should trust the experts,” Kennedy said.

“What we should do is trust the science,” he argued.

Collins countered, “The message was to trust the science, and what studies were finding.”

“No, it was trust the experts,” Kennedy retorted.

RFK JR: “[People] should also be skeptical about any medical advice, they need to do their own research.” pic.twitter.com/6Q1g6DK4aS

— Daily Caller (@DailyCaller) May 23, 2025

True. Who can forget how dismissive people like Dr. Anthony Fauci were of subjects like natural immunity, the lab leak theory, questioning the efficacy of the vaccines to stop the spread of COVID, and raising concerns about the potential health impacts of the vaccine, such as myocarditis?

The mainstream media narrative on all these subjects was to trust Fauci and the other Biden administration health officials, and they were wrong.

Kennedy contended that Americans should also be skeptical about any medical advice and do their own research.

“I would say be skeptical of authority. My father told me that when I was a young kid. People in authority lie. And we’ve seen a lot of that in our country,” RFK Jr. said.

“People in the media lie,” he continued. “And people need to make their own judgments and be skeptical, and maintain their capacity for critical thinking, and that was shut down during COVID, and the media was complicit in that.”

“Disagree on that last part,” Collins shot back and ended the interview.

DHS released its MAHA report Thursday, aimed at making children healthy again.

It identifies ultra-processed foods, chemicals in the environment, decline in physical activity, and overmedicalization of kids as all areas that must be addressed.

MEDICAL COVER-UP EXPOSED@DrDrew : “We were lied to. The NIH and FDA knew about myocarditis risks in young men—and they suppressed it. 1,400% spike in meds for kids, and they’re sicker than ever. Pills won’t save us. Families, faith, and truth-telling might.” pic.twitter.com/XtQWRXpKSd

— Laura Ingraham (@IngrahamAngle) May 23, 2025

During a roundtable event with President Donald Trump and other cabinet members and health officials, RFK Jr. said of the push to make Americans healthier that his uncle, President John F. Kennedy, supported the idea.

The secretary said that he met environmentalist Rachel Carson as a boy, who wrote the 1962 book “Silent Spring” about the negative effects of pesticides on people’s health, while JFK was president.

.@SecKennedy: “My Uncle tried to do this but he was killed and it never got done; and ever since then we’ve been waiting for a President who would stand up and speak on behalf of the health of the American people.” pic.twitter.com/kR7abbLHmX

— Trump War Room (@TrumpWarRoom) May 22, 2025

“My uncle tried to do this, but he was killed and it never got done; and ever since then we’ve been waiting for a president who would stand up and speak on behalf of the health of the American people,” the secretary said.

He asserted that Trump has finally done that, allowing true science to lead the way.

Hopefully, Collins and her media colleagues will report on the fruits of these scientific undertakings.

WATCH LIVE: President Trump Delivers United States Military Academy Commencement

President Trump is delivering remarks at the United States Military Academy at West Point commencement ceremony in West Point, New York, this morning.

This comes a day after Vice President JD Vance delivered remarks at the Naval Academy’s commencement in Annapolis, Maryland, on Friday.

Must Watch: Vice President JD Vance Gives Powerful, Affirming Speech at the US Naval Academy Class of 2025 Commencement Address- “Our adversaries now know when the United States sets a red line, it will be enforced” (Video)

The President’s remarks to West Point grads, who will shake his hand before they are commissioned as U.S. Army Second Lieutenants, comes amid Trump’s shake-up and abolishment of DEI at the academy and across the military.

Per ABC:

In February, shortly after Hegseth was confirmed by the Senate, West Point disbanded several student clubs, including the National Society of Black Engineers, the Society of Women Engineers, the Latin Cultural Club and the Native American Heritage Forum.

The changes were made “in accordance with recent Presidential Executive Orders, Department of Defense guidance, and the Department of the Army guidance,” according to a memo obtained by ABC News.

Two protests are planned during the ceremony, one outside West Point’s gate and another on the Hudson River involving people on boats, according to organizers.

The Trump Administration has touted its skyrocketing military recruitment numbers since Trump won the 2024 election and became President. “What we have seen since your election and the inauguration has been nothing short of a recruiting Renaissance,” Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth told the President during a recent cabinet meeting.

Trump is facing criticism from the leftwing media and some West Point professors over these moves, but these same people had no problem with Biden forcing DEI, trans insanity, and COVID-19 vaccine mandates on military members and service academy attendees.

“We welcomed back all the COVID, the folks who were forced out because of the COVID mandate, ripped wokeness out of the military, Sir, DEI, trans, and it’s Fort Benning and Fort Bragg again at the DOD,” Hegseth said at last month’s cabinet meeting.

The President is scheduled to speak at 10:15 am ET.

North Korea Tries to Cover National Humiliation with Blue Tarps, Fails Miserably

What do you say about a nuclear power that cannot build a ship that floats? And, not only that, launches it while its tinpot Dear Leader watches on?

All I have to say is, I feel sorry for the people behind the 5,000-ton destroyer — no name given — that was launched Wednesday from the shipyard at Chongjin, North Korea, according to the South China Morning Post.

It’s bad enough that Korea Central News Agency — the happy-clappy propaganda mill of the North Korean government, which usually hides bad news from the public and screams how wonderful Pyongyang is doing with everything, and death to America, by the way — was forced to acknowledge an investigation into the incident on Friday.

According to Reuters, the incident happened as Kim Jong-un was watching; the ship apparently lost balance during the launch and seems to have hit the bottom, given that sections of the bottom of the ship were crushed.

While KCNA described the damage as “not serious,” it also called what happened “an unpardonable criminal act.”

South Korean media, meanwhile, said that the ship was lying on its side in the water in Chongjin as of Thursday, and images tend to confirm this — although North Korean officials seem to believe they could cover this up with blue tarps.

Not so much, however:

North Korea’s latest naval destroyer has been significantly damaged prior to its launch. In a rare acknowledgment, North Korea’s state news agency KCNA reported yesterday an incident occurred with a new destroyer in Chongjin, which was close to being launched. pic.twitter.com/0PfuqehYnF

— Open Source Centre (@osc_london) May 22, 2025

As Reuters pointed out, the failed launch “likely occurred in front of a large crowd, increasing the public humiliation for Kim” — which is why KCNA was reporting on it.

As someone who has followed KCNA dispatches on-and-off for years now, let me say that they’re almost uniformly Borat-like in their comical, archetypal banana-republic state media attempts to cover up the general misery of the place. They’ll gush about how the country now has three shades of lipstick from its resplendent state-of-the-art cosmetics factory right alongside threats to annihilate the United States and the West, where the residents live in rat-infested suffering.

So, to see these kinds of admissions from KCNA in its own copy is to underscore just how Brobdingnagian of a boo-boo this was:

Detailed underwater and internal inspection of the warship confirmed that, unlike the initial announcement, no holes were made at the warship’s bottom, the hull starboard was scratched and a certain amount of seawater flowed into the stern section through the rescue channel.

Experts estimated that it will take two or three days to restore the balance of the warship by pumping out the seawater from the flooded chamber and making the bow leave the slipway and 10-odd days to restore the warship’s side…

No matter how good the state of the warship is, the fact that the accident is an unpardonable criminal act remains true, and those responsible for it can never evade their responsibility for the crime.

Regarding this accident as a serious issue is not because of the damage to the warship or of economic loss. The aim of doing so is to deal a telling blow to incautiousness, irresponsibility and unscientific empiricist attitude prevailing in any field and to sound an alarm bell.

Leaving aside the fact that they seem to have a touch of Inigo Montoya Syndrome regarding what the word “empiricist” really means outside of partyspeak, this is basically North Korea admitting they are incautious, irresponsible, and unscientific enough not to figure out that their new 5,000-ton destroyer would sink upon launch.

They are also an incautious, irresponsible, and unscientific state that has roughly 50 nuclear warheads — along with enough fissile material to potentially make 70 to 90 of them — along with the ballistic missiles to deliver them, according to a June 2024 Arms Control Association brief.

Of course, the point of nuclear weapons as a component of a country’s defense arsenal in the post-World War II era is the precept of mutually assured destruction; that is to say, if you want to destroy us as a nation, you yourself will be destroyed as a nation.

Perhaps this is left to better strategic heads than our own in the field of military analysis, but do you feel better or worse that a bellicose nation that can’t tell whether a destroyer — a relatively uncomplicated class of vessel, one that has been in reliable war service in one form or another since the early 20th century — will sink or float has both 1) the warheads that could theoretically make its enemies’ cities glow for eons and 2) the ballistic missiles that should be theoretically able to deliver them there?

All I can say is this: I’d hate to be a shipbuilder in Chongjin at any time in recent history, but I’d especially loathe that fate right now.

A Living Nightmare: My Family Was Destroyed by a Weaponized Government Under the Biden Regime

This article originally appeared on Loomered.com and was republished with permission.

About the Author:
Tim Barton is a Texas real estate developer, father, entrepreneur, Trump supporter, and devout Christian who has survived targeted political persecution. His story reflects the lived reality of countless American citizens who have endured lawfare in the Biden-era weaponized justice system.

Background:
Timothy Barton, 62, a Texas real estate developer and outspoken supporter of President Donald Trump, who built a successful real estate development firm, JMJ Development, over 35 years ago, has seen his life unravel in a Kafkaesque nightmare. Once a respected entrepreneur and outspoken Trump supporter, Barton now stands as a stark example of how political vendettas can strip a man of everything—his wealth, his home, his business, and even the safety of his family—all for doing what he believed was right. Barton alleges that his cooperation with a 2019 investigation into a suspected Chinese money-laundering scheme has led to a relentless Department of Justice (DOJ) and Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) pursuit, costing him his business, home, and financial stability.

It was 2022, or maybe even earlier, when my life—and my family’s life—was ripped apart. The United States government, through its relentless attacks by the weaponized DOJ, decided I was the enemy. No jury, no trial, just a sudden, suffocating assault that left me questioning everything: my worth, my future, and my ability to protect my children and provide for my family.

They didn’t just come for me; they came for my son Max, my daughter Victoria, and my ex-wife Martine—everyone tied to me by blood or love. They tried to break me down and destroy my family, and despite the hardship, I’m still standing, fighting to expose the ugly truth and give a warning to other Americans: what can happen to me can and will happen to you if we don’t clear out the DOJ and end weaponized government.

Tim Barton with his children, Victoria and Max, before a Biden-era DOJ and SEC targeted attack—sparked by his 2019 cooperation in a federal investigation—shattered their lives.

I woke to a pounding on my door at 5 a.m., the kind that stops your heart. Six FBI agents, armed to the teeth, stormed in like they were raiding a cartel. They dragged me out, half-dressed, in a spectacle that felt ripped from the playbooks of Roger Stone or Jeff Clark’s arrests.

It was Friday, a calculated move to ensure I’d be locked up through the weekend, no bail hearing until Monday. When I asked one agent what this was about, he smirked, “You like the showtime we gave you?” Confused, I pressed him. “The bullhorn, the lights, the 5 a.m. raid,” he said. “The full showtime.”

The FBI’s theatrics weren’t just intimidation—they were psychological warfare. Now, every knock at my door sends a jolt through me. Is it them again? The FBI? Probation? They’ve broken me to the point where I flinch at shadows, haunted by the thought of their return.

It started with my face plastered across newspapers, my mugshot a daily spectacle. “Criminal,” they called me, in every publication that mattered. My name was poisoned. The FBI, the Department of Justice, and a pre-judgement receiver with his lead counsel Charlene Koonce wielded their power like a sledgehammer, smashing every piece of my existence.

They froze my bank accounts, blocked my credit cards, and seized my assets—my office building, my son’s property, even the microwave popcorn and toilet paper in my office. They auctioned it all off for pennies on the dollar, a public humiliation where strangers in Dallas, Texas, could pick through the scraps of my life. I’d stare at the auction website, dumbfounded, wondering how selling popcorn was justice.

The worst wasn’t the material loss; it was the emotional devastation. My son, my pride and joy, looked to me as his hero. He’d started his own projects, building a life I was proud of, but because he carried my blood, they targeted him too.

They seized his assets, threw him out of his home, and left him jobless. I’ll never forget the day he looked at me, his eyes full of confusion and pain, and asked, “Dad, why is this happening? You’re my everything, and you can’t protect me?” That moment broke me. As a father, nothing cuts deeper than admitting to your child that you’re powerless.

My daughter became our lifeline, working three jobs—her day job, bartending, even doing facial treatments—to keep us afloat. She paid for my cellphone, our food, and the roof over our heads in her cramped apartment. I’d wander the streets during her work-from-home hours, not wanting to burden her with my presence or the stress of my case. Imagine that: a father, once a provider, now a guest in his daughter’s home, afraid to overstay his welcome because if she lost her job, we’d all be homeless. The shame of it was crushing, but I couldn’t let it consume me. I had to keep going for her, for my son, for all of us.

The government’s grip tightened daily. When they let me out of jail without giving me a trial, it wasn’t freedom—it was a leash. I was under probation, drug-tested, spot-checked, and forbidden from leaving Texas without permission. My probation officer could barge into my home at any moment, and I had to report every dime I borrowed. They made sure I couldn’t rebuild. If I wanted a loan, I had to tell the lender, “The FBI will know you’re helping me.” No one would touch me. Friends fled at the sight of me, fearing the government’s plague would spread to them.

This is lawfare, plain and simple, a weaponization of the system to crush dissent. The SEC and DOJ haven’t even made a case against me, yet they’ve unleashed a pre-judgment receivership to strip me bare before a trial. The judge ordered the receiver to punish me for “previous bad acts,” though no jury has heard my case. No evidence, no due process—just a lawyer with unchecked power, tearing through my life like a predator eating what it kills.

Money was a constant terror. My lawyers demanded fees I couldn’t pay, threatening to abandon me if I didn’t come up with cash. I was begging for scraps—$100 here, $200 there—just to survive the week. My son and I moved into a rental property we were lucky to keep, but it was empty. For months, I slept on the floor, too broke for a bed. I’d see couches on the side of the road and haul them home, piecing together a semblance of normalcy. Every day was a calculation: What do I eat? What can my son eat? How do I stretch this $100 to next week?

Faith has kept me going. I turned to God, asking why I was being tested. I believe there’s a reason I’m still here, that my strength and will are meant to expose this darkness. This isn’t just about me—it’s about the countless others who don’t have my stamina, who crumble under the government’s relentless beatings. They destroy lives with military precision, then gag survivors with threats: “Speak, and we’ll come for you again.” That’s why no one talks. That’s why this keeps happening in America, hidden in the shadows.

But I’m not hiding. I’m not embarrassed to admit I slept on the floor, scavenged furniture, or begged for $100. That doesn’t define me. What defines me is my refusal to break. Every day I survive is a message to the government: You won’t stop me.

This is my call to America: Shine a light on this injustice. The government shouldn’t be allowed to dehumanize people, to destroy families, to auction off their popcorn and toilet paper, all without a trial. With new leadership under President Trump, we can expose this strategy for what it is—a vile, efficient machine that crushes lives and silences survivors. I’m standing up, not just for me, but for everyone who’s been broken and can’t speak. The sunlight is coming, and it’s time for the truth.
