Democrats were outraged when ICE arrested illegal aliens at courthouses following adverse immigration rulings, claiming these individuals were trying to follow the law. But being present at court or applying for residency does not confer legal status; those without valid permits are still in the country illegally and subject to deportation. Similar outrage followed arrests at homes and workplaces, even though working without authorization is itself illegal, meaning those individuals were committing multiple violations.

More recently, legal marijuana farms employing illegal labor have been raided, with workers deported. Protests have erupted in cities like Portland and Los Angeles, and attacks on ICE agents and facilities have increased, all aimed at protecting illegal aliens, including gang and cartel members.

Meanwhile, these raids have served a dual purpose: cracking down on criminal networks and rescuing victims of human and child trafficking, many of whom are themselves undocumented and subject to removal. In just the first 50 days of the Trump administration, ICE arrested 1,155 criminal gang members, more than double the 483 arrested during the same period the previous year. Notable captures included David Alejandro Orellana-Aleman, a high-ranking MS-13 leader operating in the U.S., Mexico, and Europe; a fugitive on El Salvador’s “Top 100 Most Wanted” list; and Moises Alberto Figueroa-Bonilla, deported four times prior. ICE also arrested 39 known or suspected terrorists, nearly triple the prior year’s count.

Human trafficking operations saw major successes: a nine-day Florida sting led to 255 arrests, with ICE placing 30 detainers; eight trafficking victims were rescued during NBA All-Star weekend in San Francisco; and in Atlanta, ICE dismantled a labor trafficking ring, arresting the business owner and rescuing dozens of victims.

Under Trump, ICE arrests have now exceeded 100,000, with over 2,000 arrests recorded on some days, compared to roughly 300 per day during President Biden’s final year in office. ICE currently holds about 59,000 detainees nationwide, operating at more than 140% of its congressionally approved capacity. Backed by $45 billion in new funding from Trump’s “big, beautiful bill,” total immigration enforcement funding has surpassed $160 billion. The result is a dramatic increase in enforcement actions, not just against violent criminals but across a broad range of immigration violations as part of a coordinated mass deportation campaign.

All of these enforcement actions stem from an executive order signed on President Donald Trump’s first day back in office. On January 20, 2025, he issued Executive Order 14159, “Protecting the American People Against Invasion,” which declares it the policy of the federal government “to faithfully execute the immigration laws against all inadmissible and removable aliens, particularly those aliens who threaten the safety or security of the American people.”

The order directs sweeping changes to federal immigration enforcement, including expanded use of expedited removal, allowing deportation without court hearings, and prioritization of criminal prosecutions for immigration-related offenses. It also mandates that all aliens aged 14 and older who remain in the U.S. for more than 30 days must register with the government, with both civil and criminal penalties for failure to comply. This marks a significant expansion of documentation requirements for non-citizens.

Democrats have claimed that Trump’s defense of the border violates the Constitution. However, the executive order explicitly cites “the Constitution and the laws of the United States of America, including the Immigration and Nationality Act,” making clear that it operates within authority granted by Congress, not through the creation of new powers. The legal foundation rests on Article I, Section 8, Clause 4, which gives Congress the power to establish immigration laws, and Article II, Section 3, which obligates the president to execute those laws.

For more than 130 years, the Supreme Court has upheld federal supremacy in immigration. In U.S. v. Curtiss-Wright Export Corp. (1936), the Court affirmed the federal government’s “very delicate, plenary and exclusive power” in foreign affairs and border matters. More recently, Arizona v. United States (2012) reinforced that federal immigration law preempts conflicting state statutes, because immigration is “a fundamental sovereign attribute exercised by the Government’s political departments.”

Under EO 14159, state and local law enforcement agencies may perform immigration officer duties under 287(g) agreements, while Federal Homeland Security Task Forces are now being established in every state. Federal regulations at 8 CFR § 287.5 authorize immigration officers to execute arrest warrants, patrol the border, and transport immigration violators. The order also penalizes sanctuary jurisdictions that refuse to comply with immigration law by withholding federal funds, a move backed by the Supremacy Clause in Article VI, which makes federal immigration law binding nationwide.

Despite criticism from the left, some of whom have labeled these measures “fascism”, these ICE operations are legal, authorized under decades of existing law, and based on Supreme Court precedent. In the first 100 days of 2025 alone, ICE arrested 66,463 individuals and removed 65,682, signaling the rapid and large-scale impact of the new policy.

To support this enforcement effort, Congress approved a record-setting $170 billion in immigration funding for 2025. This includes $45 billion for detention centers, $29.9 billion for ICE operations, $46.5 billion for border wall construction, and $13.5 billion for state and local reimbursements. It is the largest immigration enforcement budget in U.S. history and reflects overwhelming legislative support for the administration’s aggressive crackdown on illegal immigration.

On February 7, 2025, San Francisco and 16 other sanctuary cities sued the Trump administration, trying to block Executive Order 14159. But the courts have consistently upheld the federal government’s authority to enforce immigration law. The Supreme Court’s plenary power doctrine makes it clear: Congress has near-total control over immigration and can delegate enforcement to the executive. And the executive is President Trump, who has decided to secure the border and protect America against invasion.

Democrat State Senator From Nebraska Defends Illegal Alien and Accused Murderer, Calling ICE the ‘Gestapo’

Democrat State Senator Megan Hunt of Nebraska recently went on a profanity laden diatribe on Twitter/X, in which she seemingly defends an illegal alien accused of murder and other crimes, while referring to ICE as the ‘gestapo.’

It’s absolutely stunning to see the lengths Democrats are willing to go to in order to defend dangerous criminals who are in the country illegally.

Twitchy reported:

This was no ‘Nebraska man,’ and he was no innocent person just seeking a new life in America. His name has not been publicly released yet, but El Salvador confirmed that the gang member is on their ‘Most Wanted’ list and has been charged in his home country with multiple counts of aggravated homicide as well as being affiliated with terrorist organizations. One of the kingpin’s top MS-13 associates, also wanted for murder in El Salvador, was shantched up in the raid as well.

All of America should be cheering for arrests like this, but the Democrats just can’t help themselves.

After the news broke, one Nebraska resident noted that State Senator Megan Hunt is opposed to arresting and deporting such nefarious criminals. Not only that, but she is actively trying to disrupt ICE operations.

How does this further the interests of the people of Nebraska?

Her legislative blog describes her as “a dedicated advocate for the people of Nebraska”

Does that sound accurate to anyone?

LISTEN: During 2020 Podcast Interview, Zohran Mamdani Said the NYPD Shouldn’t Respond to Incidents of Domestic Violence

Zohran Mamdani / NBC Meet The Press

While being interviewed on a podcast in 2020, New York City communist and Democrat nominee for mayor, Zohran Mamdani said that the NYPD should not respond to incidents of domestic violence, while also claiming that the city’s police force often unfairly targets people of color.

If Mamdani is somehow elected mayor of the city, how exactly is he going to work with the NYPD after being on record saying such things?

The thinking Mamdani expressed here is the same mentality behind the left’s push to defund the police, one of the dumbest and most dangerous political moves in recent history.

The Washington Free Beacon broke the story:

Zohran Mamdani Called To Stop Sending Cops to People ‘Going Through Domestic Violence’

Socialist New York City mayoral hopeful Zohran Mamdani said during a 2020 podcast appearance that he did not believe calling the police was an appropriate response to domestic violence, an issue which the New York Police Department (NYPD) dealt with more than 100,000 times in 2024.

Mamdani made the previously unreported comments as part of a wide-ranging denunciation of the NYPD during an appearance on the Immigrantly podcast in July 2020.

“If somebody is jaywalking, if somebody is surviving, going through domestic violence—there are so many different, different situations that would be far better handled by people trained to deal with those specific situations, as opposed to an individual with a gun,” Mamdani said.

The revelation comes as Mamdani runs on a mayoral platform that would replace police with “crisis responders” in “mental health” cases. Mamdani’s policy memo does not define such cases, and his campaign representatives did not respond to repeated requests for comment on whether he would prevent the police from responding to reports of domestic violence.

Listen to the clip below:

What Mamdani is proposing is utter lunacy and the people of New York City would be much less safe under such policies. Defunding and demoralizing the police was a disaster everywhere it was tried.

CNN’s Scott Jennings Demolishes Fellow Panelists on What Trump and Republicans Have Accomplished So Far (VIDEO)

During a recent panel on CNN, Scott Jennings flattened his co-panelists in a segment about what Trump and the Republican party have gotten done so far.

First, Jennings went up against a fellow Republican, Geoff Duncan, the former Lt. Governor of Georgia, who was trying to downplay Trump’s success, then he took down former Hillary spokeswoman Karen Finney.

It was a thing of beauty.

The Daily Caller has details:

Democratic strategist Karen Finney made Republican strategist Scott Jennings laugh Thursday night when she mentioned a meeting where efforts to beat President Donald Trump were discussed.

Trump secured the 270 electoral votes necessary to win the presidency early in the morning on Nov. 6, defeating Harris in the 2024 presidential election with 322 electoral votes to 226 for the then-vice president. Finney went into detail about a meeting that included prominent Trump critic Bill Kristol.

“I think we also can’t ignore, not only [former Republican Lt. Gov.] Geoff [Duncan of Georgia] and the divides here at the table, but the millions of people, thousands of people who consider themselves anti-Trump, who were once Republicans, and a whole movement of Republicans who — I mean, I can remember sitting at a meeting leading up to this election, I’ve got Bill Kristol sitting here, I’ve got, you know, former friends, conservatives from across the aisle. We were all aligned in how do we defeat Trump. It was a meeting to —” Finney said before Jennings interrupted by asking, “How did it work out?”

Watch the clip below:

The people Jennings is up against in these debates seem to occupy some alternate reality where everything is awful and the election is somehow still happening. Someone should let them know that it’s over and that they lost.

Canadian Mountie Assigned to G7 Under Criminal Investigation for Making “Violent” Threats Against President Trump and Leaking Info About Trump’s Movements at Alberta G7 Summit

A Royal Canadian Mounted Police officer who was assigned to the G7 summit in Alberta last month is under investigation for posting “violent” threats against President Donald Trump and of leaking information about Trump’s movements at the summit, according to a report by Le Journal de Montreal.

The G7 was held June 15-17 in Kananaskis, Alberta, located in the Canadian Rockies.

Trump abruptly left the summit a day early to deal with the Middle East (Iran-Israel war), according to a statement by White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt:

The threat report comes two days before the one year anniversary of the assassination attempt on Trump at a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania that wounded Trump and two supporters and killed supporter Corey Comperatore.

Trump survived a second attempt on his life last September 15 when an alert Secret Service agent fired on a would-be assassin holding a rifle near a hole at one of Trump’s golf courses in West Palm Beach, Florida as Trump was playing a few holes away.

The government of Iran has also plotted to assassinate Trump, with an alleged operative being charged by the U.S. last fall.

Excerpt from the report by Le Journal de Montreal (translated):

A Quebec RCMP officer is under criminal investigation for making threatening comments in connection with U.S. President Donald Trump’s visit to the G7, our Bureau of Investigation has learned.

According to our information, the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) employee was deployed to Alberta last month as part of the G7, a gathering of heads of state from the world’s largest economies.

Our sources tell us that the police officer allegedly leaked information about the movements of US President Donald Trump during his visit, which could compromise the security of the most powerful man in the world.

“The individual made threatening comments online,” confirmed Corporal Éric Gasse of the RCMP.

The Quebecer, whose identity the police refuse to confirm for confidentiality reasons, has since been subject to disciplinary measures.

Corporal Gasse also confirmed that two investigations, one criminal and one ethics, have been opened in connection with this incident.

“Within our walls, we cannot tolerate any violent remarks. The RCMP takes this very seriously,” he continued.

CNN reported on Trump’s early exit from the G7 (excerpt):

It only took a few hours of summitry in the Canadian woods on Monday for President Donald Trump to decide he’d rather be elsewhere.

Returning to Washington on an overnight flight, Trump attributed his decision to abruptly abandon the Group of 7 summit to operational security, suggesting there could be prying ears among the fir trees listening to his secret conversations.

“I don’t believe in telephones, because people like you listen to them,” he told reporters on Air Force One. “Being on the scene is much better, and we did everything I had to do at the G7.”

…Though he initially framed his departure from Alberta as a matter of great urgency, he told reporters heading back to Washington that the picture would be clearer on Israel’s intentions “over the next two days.” If there was a imminent and specific reason for his abrupt departure, he and aides didn’t reveal it.

BREAKING: Biden Judge Blocks Trump DHS From Carrying Out Raids at Home Depots, Car Washes – Prevent Agents From Relying on Race, Type of Work When Making Arrests

A federal judge has sided with the anti-American ACLU’s plaintiffs and blocked President Trump’s Department of Homeland Security agents from raiding Home Depots, car washes and other places in the Los Angeles area (7 counties in the Central District of California) unless they have reasonable suspicion that there is a violation of immigration laws.

On Thursday Fox News reported that US District Judge Maame Ewusi-Mensah Frimpong, a Biden appointee, had written a tentative decision:

Sources who have reviewed Judge Frimpong’s tentative decision tell us her order will block ICE and Border Patrol from relying on race, Spanish speaking, location, and type of work when making immigration arrests.

Additionally, DHS will be blocked from conducting stops of suspected illegal immigrants unless the agent has a reasonable suspicion that there is a violation of immigration law.

The ACLU and a handful of plaintiffs sued the Trump administration, alleging they were doing “deportation dragnets” in LA by making mass arrests that were based only on skin color and race.

The Trump administration DOJ denies this, saying all arrests are in accordance with the law and are based on the totality of the circumstances, including surveillance, intelligence, and locations where illegal immigrants are known to work or be hired.

On Friday, Frimpong issued a Temporary Restraining Order (TRO) blocking the Trump Administration from conducting immigration raids without reasonable suspicion.

Judge Frimpong also issued a separate order blocking the feds from restricting attorney access at an immigration facility.

MEDIA MALPRACTICE: CNN and MSNBC Didn’t Cover the Recent Attempted Murder of ICE Agents in Texas

Media bias is expressed in a number of ways, often by putting political spin on a particular issue. Sometimes however, it happens when news organizations just don’t report on an issue at all.

This is exactly what happened with CNN and MSNBC when it comes to the recent attempted murder of ICE agents in Texas. CNN and MSNBC simply didn’t cover the story.

Can you imagine them skipping the attempted murder of a group favored by the left? It simply wouldn’t happen. In fact, in any such case, both networks would probably cover the story for days.

FOX News reports:

CNN, MSNBC skip on-air coverage of July 4 armed attack on ICE agents at Texas facility

Americans who rely on watching CNN or MSNBC for information would be in the dark about U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents being ambushed at the Prairieland Detention Center in Alvarado, Texas, on Independence Day.

A heavily armed group lured two unarmed ICE agents into a parking lot on the evening of July 4 by firing a barrage of fireworks at their door and spray-painting graffiti on their personal cars with the words “traitor” and “Ice Pig,” which agents could see from the cameras inside.

At around the same time, a police officer responded to their 911 call for two men firing rounds from a nearby tree line, and an officer was hit in the neck, which forced the agents to take cover. Police also found seven suspects in black military fatigues wandering in a field 300 yards away, some of whom were covered in mud from trying to escape on foot. They also had weapons, vests and radios.

But CNN and MSNBC didn’t devote any airtime to the incident, Mediaite was first to report.

“Should that not strike you as unusual, imagine this scenario: 11 members of a right-wing militia group open fire on an FBI field office on a major holiday, and a responding police officer is shot in the neck,” Isaac Schorr wrote for Mediaite.

For CNN, MSNBC and other liberal news outlets, everything is motivated by whether a story is helpful or hurtful to their preferred side. It goes beyond politics though, especially where human lives are concerned. These liberal outlets put their politics above people’s lives. It’s sickening.

Report: Harvard Considering a $1 Billion Move to Embrace Conservatism as Trump Applies Pressure

As the Trump administration keeps up the pressure on Harvard University, a new report says the college is looking at a $1 billion project that might create a center for conservative scholarship as a way to stave off the administration.

According to a report in the Wall Street Journal, the concept has been in discussion for several years, and would cost between $500 million and $1 billion. The report cited a source it did not name.

A Harvard representative said it is keen to “promote and support viewpoint diversity.”

The concept batted about of a conservative-leaning institute “will ensure exposure to the broadest ranges of perspectives on issues, and will not be partisan, but rather will model the use of evidence-based, rigorous logic and a willingness to engage with opposing views,” the representative said.

Last year, a Harvard survey found only a third of Harvard’s graduating class was comfortable discussing topics on a campus that was aflame with anti-Israel protests after Hamas massacred Israeli civilians in October 2023. A 2023 student newspaper survey showed 3 percent of Harvard faculty labeled themselves as conservative.

The Journal report said that in discussions to resolve the multiple disputes between Harvard and the administration, decisions about admissions and faculty are the big sticking points.

The Journal report also suggested that, based on a source it did not name, the Trump administration is not likely to see the add-on of a conservative center as an adequate response to its concerns.

Trump’s administration would view the creation of a new institute as window-dressing and wouldn’t see it as a meaningful part of their negotiations, said a person familiar with the administration’s views.

Harvard, however, sees the center as a way to encourage open discussion of conservative ideas while preserving Harvard’s control, according to the Journal report. The Journal noted that such a program could be modeled after the Hoover Institution at Stanford University.

While Harvard mulls its options, the Trump administration is stepping up its attacks on Harvard.

On Wednesday, the Department of Homeland Security said it is hitting Harvard with administrative subpoenas concerning its programs for international students, according to a news release on the department’s website.

Since April, the department has been seeking information about criminal actions and other misconduct by international students.

“We tried to do things the easy way with Harvard. Now, through their refusal to cooperate, we have to do things the hard way,” Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin said.

“Harvard, like other universities, has allowed foreign students to abuse their visa privileges and advocate for violence and terrorism on campus. If Harvard won’t defend the interests of its students, then we will,” she said.

Also this week, the Department of Education’s Office of Postsecondary Education and the Department of Health and Human Services’ Office for Civil Rights advised the New England Commission of Higher Education, which provide accreditation for Harvard, that the college “is in violation of federal antidiscrimination laws and therefore may fail to meet the standards for accreditation set by the Commission,” according to a news release posted on the website of the Department of Education.

“By allowing anti-Semitic harassment and discrimination to persist unchecked on its campus, Harvard University has failed in its obligation to students, educators, and American taxpayers. The Department of Education expects the New England Commission of Higher Education to enforce its policies and practices, and to keep the Department fully informed of its efforts to ensure that Harvard is in compliance with federal law and accreditor standards,” Education Secretary Linda McMahon said.

“When an institution—no matter how prestigious—abandons its mission and fails to protect its students, it forfeits the legitimacy that accreditation is designed to uphold,” HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy, Jr.  said. “HHS and the Department of Education will actively hold Harvard accountable through sustained oversight until it restores public trust and ensures a campus free of discrimination.”

JUST IN: Obama Judge Enters New Order Blocking Trump’s Big Beautiful Bill Provision Barring Funding For Planned Parenthood

On Friday evening, US District Judge Indira Talwani reaffirmed her order blocking President Trump’s Big Beautiful Bill that barred Medicaid funding for Planned Parenthood.

Judge Talwani dissolved her Temporary Restraining Order (TRO) and entered an amended one that complied with the requirements.

The Trump DOJ argued that the judge issued a TRO without notice.

On Monday, Judge Talwani, an Obama appointee, issued a TRO and set a preliminary injunction hearing for July 21.

“This Temporary Restraining Order shall remain in effect for fourteen days, unless vacated, modified or extended by the court,” the judge wrote.

Planned Parenthood sued the Trump Administration over its funding cuts written into the newly-passed reconciliation bill.

The House passed the Big Beautiful Bill last week and President Trump signed in on July 4th at the White House.

“Everyone deserves access to high-quality, affordable health care. That’s what we’ve been fighting for the last century — and we’ll never stop,” President and CEO of Planned Parenthood Alexis McGill Johnson said last week. “We’ll be suing the Trump administration to stop this unlawful attack. See you in court.”
