The internet is ablaze after American Eagle’s new ad campaign featuring actress Sydney Sweeney drew fierce backlash from liberal activists who accuse the brand of promoting “white supremacist ideology and eugenics.”
The outrage hinges entirely on the choice of model (a blonde, blue‑eyed Caucasian woman) and the pun “great genes”—rewritten cheekily by Sweeney to “great jeans.”
Liberal media insist this is a coded celebration of genetic “superiority,” complete with eugenics references, and they’re demanding American Eagle pull the ads immediately and launch a boycott campaign.
The rhetoric includes terms like “white supremacist propaganda”, “Nazi dog whistles”, and “nationalist eugenics messaging.”
According to critics at outlets like The Washington Post and MSNBC, Sydney Sweeney’s new American Eagle (AE) jeans ad is promoting racist and “regressive” themes.
In reports published by the Post, MSNBC, GMA and Salon, journalists scrutinized whether the “Euphoria” star and fashion brand were taking digs at the body positivity movement and subtly pushing “Whiteness” and “eugenics” in the culture.
“The advertisement, the choice of Sweeney as the sole face in it and the internet’s reaction reflect an unbridled cultural shift toward Whiteness, conservatism and capitalist exploitation. Sweeney is both a symptom and a participant,” MSNBC producer Hanna Holland wrote in an MSNBC.com column on Monday.
Sweeney’s American Eagle ad campaign, titled “Sydney Sweeney Has Great Jeans,” went viral on social media over the weekend for controversial reasons.
In one promo video posted to AE’s Instagram page, the 27-year-old actress walked toward an AE billboard featuring her and the tagline “Sydney Sweeney Has Great Genes.” Sweeney crossed out “Genes” and replaced it with “Jeans” before walking away.

President Trump responded to a report on a Secret Service agent who tried to smuggle his wife on a plane to Scotland.
As previously reported, the Secret Service launched an investigation after an SS agent tried to smuggle his wife on a plane accompanying President Trump’s visit to Scotland.
President Trump landed in Turnberry, Scotland on Friday as part of a 5-day visit to the UK.
According to RealClearPolitics, a Secret Service Agent, who happens to be a new trainee, tried to bring his wife, an Air Force employee, with him on the trip to Scotland.
The agent reportedly flew his wife to Maryland where she received an officials Secret Service briefing and took a bus to Joint Base Andrews before she was told to leave, according to RCP.
“That’s a weird deal. The wife in the car…Wouldn’t you think that might be a little dangerous? I don’t know if that has proper compression. I don’t know that’s a strange one. I just heard that two minutes ago. I think [USSS Director] Sean [Curram] is taking care of it.”
“The agent in question is a Phase 1 agent (new trainee in first years on the job) who was written up multiple times for misconduct at the Rowley Training Center where agents go through their preliminary training to become agents and can wash out if held to proper standards, according to two sources in the Secret Service community,” RealClearPolitics reporter Susan Crabtree said.
Secret Service spokesman Anthony Guglielmi released a statement to RCPolitics:
“The U.S. Secret Service is conducting a personnel investigation after an employee attempted to invite his spouse – a member of the United States Air Force – aboard a mission support flight. The aircraft, operated by the U.S. Air Force, was being used by the Secret Service to transport personnel and equipment. Prior to the overseas departure, the employee was advised by supervisors that such action was prohibited, and the spouse was subsequently prevented from taking the flight. No Secret Service protectees were aboard and there was no impact to our overseas protective operations.”
A reporter for The Daily Mail asked President Trump about the Real Clear Politics report.
“That’s a weird deal. The wife in the car…Wouldn’t you think that might be a little dangerous? I don’t know if that has proper compression. I don’t know that’s a strange one. I just heard that two minutes ago. I think Sean [Curran] is taking care of it,” Trump said.
RCP reporter Susan Crabtree said President Trump appeared to be confused about the report.
“When asked by the Daily Mail’s White House reporter @GeoffEarle about my reporting from over the weekend, Trump seemed to think the agent tried to smuggle his wife in a non-pressurized area of the C-17 Air Force plane, what’s known as a carplane in Secret Service parlance,” she said.

Trump, however, seems very confused by the details — did the Secret Service brief… https://t.co/8w79eqMDDV
Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley (R-IA) and House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence Chairman Rick Crawford (R-AR) have dropped a political nuke on Washington: Smoking-gun thumb drives containing unreviewed evidence in the Hillary Clinton email scandal have been sitting in an FBI office collecting dust for over SIX YEARS.
The letter, addressed directly to FBI Director Kash Patel, demands that the unevaluated materials — which include sensitive intelligence, foreign communications, and damning evidence related to the Clinton Foundation and Barack Obama — be immediately reviewed and exposed to the American people.
“Thumb drives containing unreviewed info on the Clinton email scandal & mishandling of highly classified info [have] been sitting at an FBI offshoot office since 2018. I sent a letter [with] House Intel Chair Crawford asking [Director] Patel [to] review materials & report back ASAP,” Grassley wrote on X.
Thumb drives containing unreviewed info on Clinton email scandal&mishandling of highly classified info hv been sitting at an FBI offshoot office since 2018 I sent a letter w House Intel Chair Crawford asking Dir Patel 2 review materials&report back ASAP
According to the press release, “This untapped and unreviewed information has lived within thumb drives in the FBI’s custody inside a Northern Virginia offshoot office of the FBI’s Washington Field Office since 2018. This letter was sent in response to Chairman Grassley’s efforts to get the appendix to the DOJ OIG’s June 2018 report reviewing the DOJ and FBI’s handling of the Clinton investigation, also known as the “Clinton annex,” declassified.”
“The revelations contained in the declassified OIG appendix are at the heart of why the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) became distrusted by so many under your agency’s prior directors: a failure to impartially conduct its law enforcement and intelligence mission. Concerning the issue at hand, Comey’s FBI shockingly failed to review and exploit evidence in its own possession, even though they admitted in written memos the information was necessary to conduct a ‘thorough and complete investigation.’ The FBI also failed to review and exploit other foreign intelligence information.”
“Therefore, we now write to stress the importance that this material be immediately dug out from hiding and properly assessed. How evidence which purportedly includes information related to ‘former President Barack Obama’s emails’ and ‘network infrastructure diagrams for U.S. government classified networks,’ remained unreviewed by the preeminent law enforcement agency in the world is mind-numbing. We know you will not similarly ignore evidence in your agency’s possession, no matter where its exploitation or conclusions might lead.”
The United Kingdom will officially recognise the state of Palestine in September unless Israel agrees to a ceasefire in Gaza.
The move comes amid growing pressure over the situation in Gaza, particularly from within the British Labour Party.
Prime Minister Keir Starmer called his cabinet back from their summer break to approve a new plan aimed at supporting peace in the region.
The announcement after Starmer met with President Trump in Scotland. Trump said the issue wasn’t discussed but that he had no issue with Britain taking their own position.
“Ultimately, the only way to bring this humanitarian crisis to an end is through a long-term settlement,” Starmer told reporters on Tuesday.
“Our goal remains a safe and secure Israel alongside a viable and sovereign Palestinian state, but right now, that goal is under pressure like never before.”
“I have always said that we will recognise a Palestinian state as a contribution to a proper peace process, at the moment of maximum impact for the two-state solution.”
BREAKING: Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer has announced the UK will recognise Palestine as a state by the United Nations meeting in September, unless Israel agrees to a ceasefire.
Meanwhile, Foreign Secretary David Lammy said that the “global community is deeply offended by children being shot and killed as they reach out for aid.”
“Children are starving, and Israel’s drip feeding of aid has horrified the world,” Lammy said at the United Nations on Tuesday.

Last week, French President Emmanuel Macron similarly announced that France will recognize a Palestinian state.
“Consistent with its historic commitment to a just and lasting peace in the Middle East, I have decided that France will recognize the State of Palestine,” Macron wrote.
“I will make this solemn announcement before the United Nations General Assembly this coming September.”
“The urgent priority today is to end the war in Gaza and to bring relief to the civilian population.”

In keeping with the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Secretary Kennedy’s desire to review the effectiveness of Selective Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitors (SSRIs), better known as antidepressants, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) last week held a ten-panel “Expert Roundtable” focused on the safety of SSRI use during pregnancy. In a word, it was extraordinary.
While the roundtable was intended to focus on the risks/benefits associated with prescribing SSRIs during pregnancy, what really occurred was a truth session about the over-prescription and dangers associated with the use of antidepressants, the drugs questionable “efficacy” and the FDA’s shortcomings when it comes to transparency and honesty about antidepressants. In fact, the FDA Commissioner, Dr. Marty Makary, opened the roundtable discussion with a few brief comments giving the audience a glimpse into what used to be forbidden territory by bluntly stating “We’re losing the broader battle…in some respects we’re going backwards. The more antidepressants we prescribe, the more depression there is.” Right. Yes. Finally!
Despite decades of antidepressant use, nobody is getting better, and it appears that the majority of the roundtable “experts” not only agreed but had serious problems with the prescribing of SSRIs to anyone, least of all pregnant women.
Not all the experts objected to SSRI use during pregnancy, though. One expert discussed the benefit of SSRIs during pregnancy mentioning both Fluoxetine (Prozac) and Paroxetine (Paxil) as viable “treatments.” Interesting enough, there is a warning for Paxil which reports “using this medicine while you are pregnant can harm your unborn baby.”
Both mind-altering SSRIs come with several possible adverse events including emotional lability, mania, personality disorder, abnormal thinking, depersonalization, paranoid reaction, psychosis, depression, intense dreams, sleep disturbance and suicidal thoughts and behavior, and suicide attempts.
And, finally, there is a caveat that reports “antidepressants may have a role in inducing worsening of depression.” Perfect. Take this mind-altering drug for depression that may actually worsen depression.
Many of the panelists raised issues about the FDA’s failure to provide the public with appropriate warnings about the exposure to serious risks and poor outcomes for babies associated with antidepressants. One panelist referred to the FDA as having “information problems” when it was reported that the Royal College of Physicians in England had made an official correction about the illegitimacy of the “chemical imbalance” while the FDA, Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the National Institute of Health (NIH) have done nothing to inform the public that depression, nor any psychiatric disorder, is the result of a chemical imbalance. It always was a theory and has finally been thoroughly debunked.
It actually was a shocking, yet refreshing, discussion if only for its blatantly honest assessment of the drugging that is occurring in the US and abroad. One panelist said, “we’re really good at getting people on drugs, but really bad at getting them off.” Truer words were never spoken and AbleChild has long advocated for a mandatory “exit plan” for all physicians prescribing psychiatric drugs.
Another expert interjected that it was time for “honesty about the difficulty associated with withdrawal from antidepressants” and one wondered why the labeling of antidepressants was inconsistent when they are drugs within the same class. All great questions that AbleChild intends to follow in the coming months.
While most of the panelists were surprisingly frank about the over-prescribing of antidepressants, it was Professor Joanna Moncrieff, who really stuck a fork in it. According to Moncrieff, “whether antidepressants are really effective, the data does not support those claims.” And Moncrieff explained “these drugs change the normal thinking and feelings… it’s a state of emotional numbing and the data does not show that this numbing is effective and there is very little evidence that antidepressants have any benefit in treating depression.” Moncrief concluded that “antidepressants have never been shown to reduce suicide, but they have been shown to cause suicide.”
During the nearly two-hour long discussion, AbleChild waited for one of the “experts” to state the obvious…the SSRIs, nor any antidepressants, treat any known abnormality. While it wasn’t presented in so many words, one expert got close when, another participant stated, “mental disorders are no different than medical disorders.”
The response was rapid-fire, and the expert shot back “mental disorders are very different from physical problems as physical problems usually have some basis in pathology.” The expert continued “loneliness, isolation, career dissatisfaction are not things to be fixed with medical intervention.” Boom!
Finally. The cat was out of the proverbial bag. No matter how hard the psycho/pharmaceutical industry wants to push mental health “parity,” there is a difference between medical and behavioral illnesses. One is based in science and usually can be objectively diagnosed. The other is based on subjective understanding of verbal responses to questions.
The FDA expert panel may not have decided whether drugging pregnant women was a good or bad idea, but it was a win for the American people and a shot across the bow of the behavioral health industry. Frankly, these experts seemed fed up and honestly disgusted with the decades-long failed practice of using serious mind-altering drugs to correct normal behavior, especially when it comes to the safety of the nation’s infants and children.
Last week, the panel of ten let the world know that there’s a bigger problem with mental health treatment than just drugging pregnant women. These experts were exposing the real mental health crisis…psychiatric drugs are over-prescribed and aren’t the answer to solving uncomfortable human behavior and, in fact, may actually be causing a bigger a problem.

The Cincinnati Police Chief who blamed social media after a violent mob of mostly black males beat a white couple at jazz festival over the weekend was previously sued for anti-white bias.
A white man was brutally beaten and stomped on by a violent gang of black suspects. When a woman ran to the victim’s aid, she was also beaten and knocked out.
A white couple was brutaIIy beaten at a jazz festival by a black “teen mob” in Cincinnati yesterday.
Earlier this year Chief Theetge was sued for anti-white discrimination.
“The City and Chief Theetge have actively and systemically undertaken efforts to promote, advance, and make promotion and assignment decisions that are preferable to women and minorities, and to the exclusion of white men, including through hiring, diversity initiatives, outreach programs, promotional processes, and other steps that demonstrate both a systemic practice of discrimination against white males, and that there are background circumstances to support the suspicion that the defendant is that unusual employer who discriminates against the majority,” the lawsuit alleges, according to WXIX.
“Plaintiffs, who are all white males, applied for, and did not receive those positions. Furthermore, as respects the preferential assignments, each of the Plaintiffs were qualified for those positions. And similarly situated persons received those preferential assignments on the basis of race and/or sex. Plaintiffs were treated differently than similarly situated employees of a different race and/or sex,”
Four veteran members of the Cincinnati Police Department – one captain and three lieutenants – allege workplace discrimination in a new federal civil rights lawsuit against the city and Police Chief Teresa Theetge.
The four white police supervisors accuse the city and the chief of discriminating against them when it awarded certain “preferred” assignments to non-white and female lieutenants.
Capt. Robert Wilson and Lts. Patrick Caton, Gerald Hodges, and Andrew Mitchell say in the lawsuit filed this week that the city and its police chief, Theresa A. Theetge, disproportionately disfavored White men for plum positions and disregarded qualifications, time spent on the force, and commanders’ staffing requests.
The lawsuit names Chief Theetge in her individual and official capacities, contending she is “personally involved” in assignment decisions.
Democrat Russia collusion hoax investigator April Doss was fired as NSA General Counsel on Tuesday, according to the New York Times.
According to a recent report by The Daily Wire, April Doss worked for the Senate Democrats on their Russia collusion witch hunt against Trump.
“Just months into Trump’s first term as president, she took a high-level job working for Sen. Mark Warner (D-VA) on the Senate Intelligence Committee, investigating supposed Russian interference in the 2016 election. Doss was the Democrats’ Senior Counsel for the committee’s Russia investigation, which conducted hundreds of interviews in its failed attempt to find evidence of conspiracy between Trump and Russia,” The Daily Wire’s Luke Rosiak reported.
April Doss also called for President Trump to be permanently banned from social media.
“Doss is a transparently partisan activist who has written publicly about her opposition to Trump. She has called for Trump to be permanently banned from social media for staging an “insurrection,” attacked Republicans for opposing a crackdown on “disinformation,” and defended the treatment of Trump aides Carter Page and Michael Flynn at the hands of the intelligence state,” The Daily Wire reported.
The New York Times credited Laura Loomer for amplifying The Daily Wire’s report exposing April Doss.
The top lawyer for the National Security Agency was removed from her job on Friday, according to multiple former officials, after she was criticized by conservative activists.
April Falcon Doss had been appointed to the general counsel post in April 2022, during the Biden administration. The web page on the N.S.A. site that displayed her biography now redirects to an error page.
On July 23, the Daily Wire, a conservative website, wrote about Ms. Doss and her former work for the Senate Intelligence Committee’s Democratic staff. Later that day, Laura Loomer, a far-right conspiracy theorist, amplified a social media post critical of Ms. Doss that cited the Daily Wire article.
The greatest area od US-Russia cooperation is still in outer space.
In the last decade, the bilateral relations between the US and Russia deteriorated greatly, to the point where almost all manner of cooperation between the two nuclear superpowers had ceased.
The one area where it was never discontinued was in space exploration.
But even there, it’s been 8 years since the last time the directors of NASA and Roscosmos had a face-to-face meeting.
But now, with Donald J. Trump’s return to the White House, things are picking up a new momentum, as the Roscosmos chief arrives in Houston, Texas, for a visit and meetings.
“Head of Roscosmos Dmitry Bakanov has arrived in the United States, where he is scheduled to meet with NASA leadership and the crew of the upcoming Crew Dragon mission, which includes Russian cosmonaut Oleg Platonov, the press service of the Russian space agency reported.
‘Dmitry Bakanov arrived in Houston at the head of a Roscosmos delegation to meet with NASA leadership. This marks the first in-person meeting between the heads of the Russian and US space agencies in eight years’, the statement said.”
HISTORIC: Roscosmos chief Bakanov in Houston for NASA talks
Besides meeting acting NASA director Sean Duffy, Bakanov will visit Johnson Space Center, and also Boeing’s production facility, where the grounded Starliner spacecraft is being reworked.
Furthermore, he will meet with the Crew Dragon crew, including Roscosmos cosmonaut Oleg Platonov.
One of the most important aspects of the Roscosmos cooperation with NASA is the join work to decommission the aging International Space Station (ISS).
The aging International Space Station will take 2 and a half years to decommission and sink in the ocean.
According to Bakanov, the deorbiting plan has already been developed, and is expected to take about two and a half years.
“’A draft program for deorbiting the station has already been developed. According to experts, the process will take about two and a half years in total’, he stated.
[…]’We plan to discuss continuing the cross-flight program and extending the operation of the International Space Station. We will also discuss the activities of the Russian-American working group on safely deorbiting the ISS and flooding it in a designated area of the ocean’.”

GOP Congressman Tim Burchett (TN) suffered a broken rib after a horse kicked him in the chest on Sunday.
“Rep. Tim Burchett (R-TN) went to the hospital on Sunday with a broken rib after a horse kicked him in the chest, according to his office,” the Washington Examiner reported.
“While working on his farm over the weekend, Congressman Burchett was accidentally kicked by a horse. He suffered a broken rib and bruising but hasn’t missed a beat,” said Will Garrett, a spokesman for Burchett, according to the Examiner.
Burchett’s spokesperson said there are no changes to the Tennessee Rep’s schedule following the incident.
