Second Medical Worker Arrested in Case of California Surgical Center Staff Tring to Block ICE Arrest of Illegal Alien

Fox News reporters Matt Finn and Bill Melugin each reported Friday afternoon on the arrest by federal authorities of a second medical worker with the Ontario Advanced Surgical Center for allegedly interfering with ICE agents as they tried to arrest an illegal alien on July 8 in Ontario, California.

Danielle Nadine Davila reportedly turned herself in on Friday after a fellow medical worker, Jose de Jesus Ortega, was arrested early Friday morning.

The case drew national attention as supporters of mass illegal immigration spread a lie that the illegal alien was arrested while at a doctor’s appointment, when in fact he was outside when agents tried to apprehend him and ran inside the medical building with help from the staff who then tried to block the ICE agents.

Matt Finn posted on X, “UPDATE: female medical worker who appeared to block ICE arrest on camera just surrendered to federal authorities. That marks the second arrest for the day from this viral video.”

“NOW: female CA medical worker seen in viral video appearing to a block ICE arrest, just surrendered to federal authorities, per federal source. Her male counterpart, also seen in the video, was arrested earlier this morning.”

Bill Melugin reported, “BREAKING: I’m told by federal law enforcement sources that the female medical worker, DANIELLE NADINE DAVILA, was just arrested by HSI agents and is now in federal custody. She is also charged with 18 USC 111, assaulting/resisting/impeding federal agents.”

Interim U.S. Attorney for Los Angeles Bill Essayli commented earlier Friday on the charges in the case:

My office has filed federal criminal charges against Jose de Jesus Ortega, 38, of Highland, and Danielle Nadine Davila, 33, of Corona, who are accused of assaulting and interfering with an ICE investigation earlier this month at a surgery center in San Bernardino County.

The media originally reported that the illegal alien was taken during a medical appointment. That was false. The illegal alien arrested inside the surgery center was not a patient. He ran inside for cover and these defendants attempted to block his apprehension by assaulting our agents.

It doesn’t matter who you are or where you work, if you assault our agents or otherwise interfere with our operations, you will be arrested and charged with a federal crime.

Essayli spoke on Friday with Melugin about the case before the second worker was arrested:

“The politicians in California have emboldened people to stand up to ICE, they think it’s okay to interfere or obstruct,” Essayli said. “We’ve said this over and over again, if you get in our way, if you lay a hand on a federal agent, you will be arrested and you will be charged.”

I asked if these federal charges are too heavy handed for these medical workers?

“No, it’s the opposite,” Essayli told me. “We have to charge these cases. We have to set an example. We have to enforce the rule of law. Federal agents are off limits. Do not touch them.”

THE FACTS: ICE officers conducted a targeted enforcement operation to arrest two illegal aliens. Officers in clearly marked ICE bullet proof vests approached the illegal alien targets as they exited a vehicle.

One of the illegal aliens, Denis Guillen-Solis who is from Honduras, fled on foot to evade law enforcement. He ended up near the Ontario Advanced Surgical Center where hospital staff assaulted law enforcement and drug the officer and illegal alien into the facility.

Then, the staff attempted to obstruct the arrest by locking the door, blocking law enforcement vehicles from moving, and even called the cops claiming there was a “kidnapping.”

JUST IN: Obama Judge Blocks Trump’s Birthright Citizenship Order in Third Ruling Since Supreme Court Decision Restricting Nationwide Injunctions

A federal judge on Friday blocked President Trump’s birthright citizenship order in a third ruling since the Supreme Court restricted nationwide injunctions.

US District Judge Leo Sorokin, an Obama appointee, blocked President Trump’s executive order nationwide.

Sorokin’s ruling comes after another district court and a three-judge panel on the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals ruled against Trump’s birthright citizenship order.

The US Supreme Court recently restricted lower courts from issuing nationwide injunctions.

The AP reported:

A federal judge on Friday blocked the Trump administration from ending birthright citizenship for the children of parents who are in the U.S. illegally, issuing the third court ruling blocking the birthright order nationwide since a key Supreme Court decision in June.

U.S. District Judge Leo Sorokin, joining another district court as well as an appellate panel of judges, found that a nationwide injunction granted to more than a dozen states remains in force under an exception to the Supreme Court ruling. That decision restricted the power of lower-court judges to issue nationwide injunctions.

The states have argued Trump’s birthright citizenship order is blatantly unconstitutional and threatens millions of dollars for health insurance services that are contingent on citizenship status. The issue is expected to move quickly back to the nation’s highest court.

Several federal judges have blocked President Trump’s birthright citizenship executive order.

According to President Trump’s order, the 14th Amendment is being misinterpreted by the left to give citizenship to ‘anchor babies.’

“It is the policy of the United States that no department or agency of the United States government shall issue documents recognizing United States citizenship, or accept documents issued by State, local, or other governments or authorities purporting to recognize United States citizenship, to persons: (1) when that person’s mother was unlawfully present in the United States and the person’s father was not a United States citizen or lawful permanent resident at the time of said person’s birth, or (2) when that person’s mother’s presence in the United States was lawful but temporary, and the person’s father was not a United States citizen or lawful permanent resident at the time of said person’s birth,” Trump’s order stated.

Trump’s order argued the 14th Amendment has always excluded babies born to people in the US illegally.

“[The] Fourteenth Amendment has never been interpreted to extend citizenship universally to everyone born within the United States. The Fourteenth Amendment has always excluded from birthright citizenship persons who were born in the United States but not “subject to the jurisdiction thereof.” Consistent with this understanding, the Congress has further specified through legislation that “a person born in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof” is a national and citizen of the United States at birth, 8 U.S.C. 1401, generally mirroring the Fourteenth Amendment’s text,” the order stated.

The Jeffrey Epstein trafficking ring has again turned into one of the biggest stories in the planet, and US President Donald J. Trump is being asked multiple times a day to weigh about different aspects of the case – more specifically, today, about the 2-day interview that Epstein accomplice Ghislaine Maxwell has given to the second highest DOJ official, Todd Blanche.

The disgraced British socialite is serving a 20-year sentence in FCI Tallahassee, Florida, for her sex-trafficking convictions.

Before flying to Scotland, Trump was asked about Maxwell’s interview with Blanche, in which he was asked if he would pardon her – and the President made it clear that it’s within his powers to do so.

Later in the day, after arriving in Scotland, the US President was again asked about the case.

Trump answered in a more adversarial mode, and even – what do you know – improvised a ‘client list’ of people that have been to Epstein’s Island – including Bill Clinton and former Harvard President Larry Summers.

“I really have no, really nothing to say about it. She is being talked to by a very smart man, by a very good man, Todd Blanche. And I don’t know anything about the conversation.

I haven’t really been following it. A lot of people are asking me about pardons. Obviously, this is no time to be talking about pardons.

But a lot of people have asked about pardon. This is just not a time to be talking about pardons. Todd will come back with whatever he’s got.

You’re making a very big thing over something that’s not a big thing. You should be talking about, if you’re going to talk about that, talk about Clinton, talk about the former president of Harvard, talk about all of his friends, talk about the hedge fund guys that were with him all the time. Don’t talk about Trump.”

Minnesota Democrat Resigns After Jury Finds Her Guilty of Felony Burglary

Minnesota Democrat State Senator Nicole Mitchell resigned after a jury found her guilty of felony burglary last week.

The jury convicted Nicole Mitchell of both charges: First-degree burglary and possession of burglary of theft tools after she got caught breaking into her stepmother’s home to retrieve her deceased father’s belongings.

“I am stepping down from my MN Senate seat today, but I cannot do that without expressing my gratitude,” Nicole Mitchell said.

Bodycam footage of Minnesota Democrat Senator Nicole Mitchell was released during the trial for her first-degree burglary charges earlier this month.

Nicole Mitchell was arrested last April for breaking into her stepmother’s Detroit Lakes home to retrieve some of her recently deceased father’s belongings.

Nicole Mitchell’s stepmother called 911 and reported a burglary at her home on April 22, 2024.

Mitchell wore all black and tried to run out of the basement as law enforcement arrived on the scene to confront her.

The Democrat was charged with first-degree burglary and possession of burglary or theft tools, CBS News reported.

Earlier this month, bodycam footage of police officers confronting a beanie-clad Mitchell was released.

Mamdani Faces Brutal Criticism from His Own Party: ‘You’ve Got to Condemn That’

Democratic Gov. Josh Shapiro of Pennsylvania went after New York City mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani on Wednesday for not condemning radical rhetoric that he described as “blatantly anti-Semitic.”

“I’ll say this about Mamdani or any other leader,” Shapiro reportedly said during an interview with Jewish Insider. “If you want to lead New York, you want to lead Pennsylvania, you want to lead the United States of America, you’re a leader.”

“I don’t care if you’re a Republican or Democratic leader or a democratic socialist leader,” he continued. “You have to speak and act with moral clarity, and when supporters of yours say things that are blatantly anti-Semitic, you can’t leave room for that to just sit there. You’ve got to condemn that.”

Shapiro added, “He seemed to run a campaign that excited New Yorkers. He also seemed to run a campaign where he left open far too much space for extremists to either use his words or for him to not condemn the words of extremists that said some blatantly anti-Semitic things.”

The Democratic governor is likely referring to Mamdani’s support for Palestinian protesters and his initial refusal to condemn the phrase “globalize the intifada,” which is used by pro-Palestinian activists to push for an international uprising.

Mamdani compared the phrase to “a desperate desire for equality and equal rights in standing up for Palestinian human rights,” during an interview last month.

“To the question of language  … I am someone who — I would say — am less comfortable with the idea of banning the use of certain words. And that I think it is more evocative of a Trump-style approach to how to lead a country,” he said, before the host cut him off, to ask again if radical phrasing like “globalize the intifada” made him uncomfortable.

Mamdani replied, “I know people, for whom those things mean very different things … As a Muslim man who grew up post-9/11, I’m all too familiar in the way in which Arabic words can be twisted, can be distorted, can be used to justify any kind of meaning.”

The New York Times reported last week that Mamdani walked back his comments — and claimed he would discourage use of the phrase going forward– during a meeting with city business leaders.

But he only did so after receiving heavy backlash.

That’s a far cry from publicly denouncing it, and explaining the rationale behind why he’s pulling a 180.

His base is drifting further and further left. If he were to publicly show any type of support for Israel, it could doom his candidacy — even if it was indirect.

When a popular Democrat from a vital swing state is calling you out directly, however, you know your party has a long-term problem.

The infighting between establishment leadership and younger lawmakers like Mamdani is poised to cause a civil war between Democrats.

One side is trying to offer some sort of middle path — while also hitting on extreme social points — in order to realistically govern and win nationwide.

The other side has admitted to wanting a communist takeover of government, property rights, grocery stores, gun ownership, wages, and pricing, while promising to punish certain people for the color of their skin.

No matter how this shakes out, there likely won’t be any compromise.

Democrats will either get the message and move closer to the center, or keep marching toward the fringe in an effort to tear down the fabric of American exceptionalism at all costs.

Trump-Appointed Judge Dismisses Lawsuits Challenging President Trump’s Dismantling of USAID

A federal judge on Friday dismissed a lawsuit filed by four groups seeking to challenge President Trump’s dismantling of USAID.

US District Judge Carl Nichols, a Trump appointee, dismissed the lawsuit because the court lacks jurisdiction.

“The Court ultimately cannot reach the merits of any plaintiff’s allegations, however, because it concludes that it lacks jurisdiction over the claims of AFSA, AFGE, and Oxfam (which have moved for summary judgment after the Court denied their earlier motion for a preliminary injunction), and that it likely lacks jurisdiction over the claims of the PSCA (which has moved for a preliminary injunction). The Court will accordingly grant the government’s motion to dismiss the AFSA case and will deny the PSCA’s motion for a preliminary injunction,” the judge wrote.

Earlier this month Secretary of State Marco Rubio said USAID officially ceased operations and is no longer giving money to foreign countries.

“Beyond creating a globe-spanning NGO industrial complex at taxpayer expense, USAID has little to show since the end of the Cold War. Development objectives have rarely been met, instability has often worsened, and anti-American sentiment has only grown,” Rubio wrote in a blog post, according to Fox News.

“This era of government-sanctioned inefficiency has officially come to an end. Under the Trump Administration, we will finally have a foreign funding mission in America that prioritizes our national interests. As of July 1st, USAID will officially cease to implement foreign assistance. Foreign assistance programs that align with administration policies—and which advance American interests—will be administered by the State Department, where they will be delivered with more accountability, strategy, and efficiency,” Rubio said.

A court battle erupted after DOGE dismantled USAID earlier this year. A rogue Biden judge ordered the Trump Administration to pay billions of dollars in foreign aid contracts.

Rubio took over the agency and quietly worked to shut down the corruption and fraud.

As expected, fake news CNN is hyperventilating and claiming USAID’s closure could contribute to 14 million deaths in the next five years.

Idaho murderer Bryan Kohberger sentencing – courtroom video

Two days before the sentencing hearing for Idaho killer, Brian Kohberger, President Trump took to his Truth Social platform to complain that the Judge should make Kohberger explain why he carried out the murders. Of course, many might wonder why the President of the United States isn’t even remotely interested in releasing the FBI investigation into the attempt on his life last July 13th at Butler, PA? But putting that aside for the moment, let’s consider what actually may be behind Kohberger’s deadly actions and has been covered up by the judicial process.

Brian Kohberger has a long mental health record. Yep. What is known is that his attorneys report that, at a minimum, Kohberger suffers from Autism and Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD). His attorneys have let the jury know about these psychiatric disorders so it will understand Kohberger’s weird, distant, courtroom demeanor. And apparently the killer also suffers from a “developmental coordination disorder,” that according to his attorneys, would impact Kohberger’s ability to carry out the murderous crime in the alleged time frame.

Here’s the rub. Kohberger has quite a mental health history that has been suppressed by the court when, just prior to the trial, District Judge Steven Hippler sealed Kohberger’s mental health records “to protect the privacy of the information.” According to court records “the information subject to this Protective Order is confidential in nature and not appropriate for public disclosure at this time…”

What is so “confidential in nature” and “not appropriate for public disclosure” when it comes to the mental health history of a man who allegedly committed horrific murders of four innocent college kids? In Kohberger’s case, the only people allowed to see his mental health records, besides his own defense, are the prosecutors assigned to the case and they are prohibited from sharing any of that information with the public. And, ironically, while Kohberger’s mental health records remain confidential, under Idaho sentencing guidelines, Kohberger’s defense team can use his mental health as a factor.

So, to answer President Trump’s weird input into the sentencing of the admitted Idaho killer, because Kohberger’s mental health records have been hidden, there is no way to fully understand what transpired that awful night.  But if his reported OCD was “treated” it’s possible to guess that the killer had been prescribed antidepressants and may be antipsychotics.

Based on information made available early in the investigation, ABC News reported that Kohberger suffered from “visual snow syndrome (VSS),” and as a teenager Kohberger posted on a forum extremely telling behavior issues that certainly were known and one would assume treated. The following are some of Kohberger’s alleged posts. They tell all.

In 2009 Kohberger allegedly writes, “I have had VS [visual snow] since september 21st of 2009. Since then I have changed, mainly from the anxiety and sense of derealization and hopelessness.”

In 2011 Kohberger allegedly writes “depression, no interest in activity, constant thoughts of suicide, crazy thoughts, delusions of grandeur, anxiety, poor self image, poor social skills, NO EMOTION.” The post concluded: “When I get home, I am mean to my family. This started when VS did. I felt no emotion and along with the depersonalization, I can say and do whatever I want with little remorse.”

Also, in 2011 Kohberger explains, “I have had this horrible Depersonalization go on in my life for almost 2 years. I often find myself making simple human interactions, but it is as if I am playing a role playing game. … As I hug my family, I look into their faces, I see nothing, it is like I am looking at a video game, but less. … I am blank, I have no opinion, I have no emotion, I have nothing.”

There is little doubt that Kohberger was suffering from and probably diagnosed with several mental disorders in his youth. And, when there is a psychiatric diagnosis, mind-altering drugs usually follow. So, the question that remains is what diagnoses were ascribed to Kohberger, and how many different psychiatric mind-altering drugs has Kohberger been prescribed in his life?  Additionally, it is important to point out that VSS can actually be caused by antidepressant use.

The defense and prosecution know all this information. Too often, like in the case of the Tennessee mass murderer, Audrey Hale, and so many other killers, the history of psychiatric drug use and mental disorders is withheld from the public. Until this information is made part of all these trials, the public will never understand what is turning the nation’s kids into killers.

President Trump’s suggestion that “the Judge should make him explain what happened” is misguided. The President should be asking the Judge to unseal Kohberger’s mental health records and medication history. Of course, the same could be requested about the alleged shooter, Thomas Matthew Crooks, and his mental health records.

Second Day of Ghislaine Maxwell’s Interview to Deputy AG Todd Blanche Wraps – Attorney Says She Answered Questions ‘About 100 People’ – Her Team Will Seek a Trump Pardon

As the Jeffrey Epstein trafficking ring becomes a bigger story by the day, the DOJ Number 2 official, Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche, headed down to Florida to meet in person with the convicted sex trafficker Ghislaine Maxwell, Epstein’s long-time ‘partner-in-crime’.

After a 5-hour questioning marathon yesterday (24), today the official met with the disgraced British socialite for the second time in the US Attorney’s Office in Tallahassee, Florida.

Maxwell’s attorney David Markus told the press after this second day of interviews that his client answered questions about ‘a hundred people’.

Daily Mail reported:

“Ghislaine Maxwell was spotted [yesterday] returning to prison with a box of materials after she was grilled by Donald Trump’s Department of Justice over her association with former lover Jeffrey Epstein.

[…] She apparently also brought some personal effects, as she was spotted returning to prison in Tallahassee, Florida with a box of materials as she re-entered prison.”

David Markus, attorney for Maxwell, said she answered every question.

“’Miss Maxwell answered every single question. She never stopped. She never invoked a privilege. She never declined to answer. She answered all the questions truthfully, honestly and to the best of her ability’.”

As he left for Scotland, US President Donald J. Trump spoke to the press, and had to endure the usual grilling over Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell.

NBC News reported:

“Trump didn’t seem to rule out the possibility of pardoning Ghislaine Maxwell, who is serving a 20-year sentence in prison after being convicted of sex trafficking charges for recruiting and grooming teenage girls to be sexually abused by Jeffrey Epstein. ‘I’m allowed to do it, but it’s something I have not thought about’, Trump told reporters outside the White House this morning before leaving for a trip to Scotland.”

Trump also said he wasn’t sure how the first day of Maxwell-DOJ conversation went.

The president trusts Blanche to be ‘a professional lawyer’ who has been through situations like this before.

Maxwell’s attorney Markus said ahead of a second day of interviews with the Justice Department that his client ‘has been treated very unfairly’.

“’If you looked up scapegoat in the dictionary, her face would be next to the definition, next to the dictionary definition of it’, Markus told reporters in Florida. ‘So, you know, we’re grateful for this opportunity to finally be able to say what really happened, and that’s what we’re going to do, yesterday and today’. He claimed that Maxwell has experienced ‘terrible, awful conditions for five years’.

‘We wouldn’t keep animals the way she’s been kept in prison’, he said, adding that ‘it’s unbelievable that she can keep her spirits up this high, and we’re proud of her’.”

Maxwell answered questions about 100 different people.

USA TODAY reported:

“Outside the courthouse where the meetings were taking place, David Markus, a Miami attorney representing Maxwell, told reporters that he hoped for ‘another productive day.” He said Maxwell had answered all of Blanche’s questions and thanked the government ‘for this opportunity to finally be able to say what really happened’.

Markus told reporters after a second day of questioning that Ghislaine Maxwell answered questions ‘about 100 different people’ during her meeting with the Justice Department.

‘She literally answered every question’, he said. ‘She was asked about maybe about 100 different people. She answered questions about everybody and she didn’t hold anything back’.”
