Vice President JD Vance pulled off an incredibly creative troll on Thursday that threw off several overweight agitators and forced them to get some actual exercise in.

As WEAU reported, roughly 150 protesters gathered in La Crosse, Wisconsin during Vance’s visit to the Badger State.

Vance was in Wisconsin to promote “The Big, Beautiful Bill,” which was signed into law last month.

The legislation provides the largest tax cuts in American history, incentivizes American-based manufacturing, and eliminates taxes on tips and overtime.

“What the working families tax cuts did is simple, ladies and gentlemen. It let you keep more money in your pocket,” Vance explainedto the crowd at Mid-Steel. “It rewarded you for building a business or working at a business right here in the United States of America. It makes it easy for you to take home more of your hard-earned pay, and it makes it easier if you’re an American manufacturer or an American business … to build your facility or expand your facility right here in the United States of America.”

But the agitators, who were gathered outside, were apparently triggered at the thought of Americans keeping more of their own money.

They were on the edge of a street where they thought Vance’s motorcade would be driving down. As one would expect, the protesters were carrying nonsensical signs.

But Vance had a little trick up his sleeve. He and his team decided to drive down an adjacent road, which the Wisconsin Democratic Party claimed was a one-way street.

Watch these unathletic liberals, many of them portly, forced to run for the first time in years just in an effort to get noticed and shout at Vance. Look at them ‘race’ across the median strip.

How hilarious and pathetic at the same time.

New Tang Dynasty (NTD) White House reporter Iris Tao recently spoke to The Gateway Pundit about her horrific experience being attacked and robbed in the nation’s capital one Saturday morning just steps from her apartment amid President Trump’s efforts to purge crime from Washington, DC. 

Earlier this month, President Trump declared a “public safety emergency,” citing high crime and unsafe streets in the District, and federalized the DC police force. He further authorized the use of National Guard troops and deployed federal agents across the city to tackle the rampant crime, homelessness, and illegal immigration crises.

Since taking these actions, crime in DC has been reduced significantly. According to White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt, as of Thursday, there had been more than 1,283 arrests, contributing to a 19% reduction in all crime, a 30% reduction in violent crime, a 57% reduction in homicides, a 23% reduction in assaults involving deadly weapons, and a 67% reduction in carjackings.

The previous robbery came to light after Iris penned an op-ed recounting the incident and emphasizing the importance of Trump’s crackdown on crime in the capital.

As The Gateway Pundit reported, President Trump took notice of the story and invited Iris to tell her story during a cabinet meeting on Tuesday.

Iris told The Gateway Pundit that since Trump took the capital over, she has become “very hopeful” that the streets will be safe again, but she is still traumatized by the incident and “wouldn’t dare walk in the street alone” at night. “I’m still Ubering home every single night, despite actually not living too far from where I work,” she said.

In response to leftists peddling likely falsified crime data that shows a 30-year low in DC crime, Iris points to the “real human toll” behind the data and notes that there have still been thousands of violent crimes and robberies each year. She further highlights the over 100 homicides this year alone, including “a three-year-old girl, a 21-year-old Capitol Hill intern, and a 33-year-old man who was just shot in the street hours after President Trump announced his latest crackdown action.”

Iris also explained that as an expecting new mother, she does not plan to stay in the city for much longer “for the sake of my family,” adding “who doesn’t want their kid to grow up in an environment where they can freely play, walk in the street and hang out without the threat of being, you know, threatened, or being attacked, or being shot in the street without, you know, their parents, even knowing?”

Conradson: You were violently mugged and robbed in the street right outside of your apartment in broad daylight. Can you tell us a little bit about that and the trauma you’ve experienced as a result?

Tao: So, it was a normal Saturday morning more than two years ago, just steps outside of my apartment building. And, as was walking out, this random guy with a black ski mask covering everything but his eyes, popped out and pointed a gun in my face and asked me to give him my phone, my wallet, my laptop, even a password to my phone, and well, when I refused to give him most of that, he pistol whipped me, using the butt of his gun to, like, kind of just like, whack me in my cheek, and ran away. That’s before, of course, I called a neighbor, who later called the police out. My cheek was numb for the rest of the day. Fortunately, I was relatively okay, like he didn’t actually open fire. But after that, like thinking back, it was a lot more traumatizing because just thinking like a million ways that it could have gone a lot worse if he had opened fire, or shot me, or even just killed me right there and then, when my friend’s family were so far away. I was alone by myself as a young female reporter who kind of just started her career at the White House. So, for me, looking back, it was much more traumatizing afterwards, actually.

Conradson: Now they’re trying to say that crime is at a 30-year low, but you don’t think that’s what we should be looking at, whether it’s true or not. Talk about the families of the hundreds of victims of violent crime, the 100-plus murder victims have died this year. Do you think it’s fair to them to be touting crime, apparently, at a 30-year low?

Tao: I feel like it’s reasonable for people to look at the data, but it’s also important, I think, for us to remind people—for us who have actually lived through, you know, crime in DC—to remind people that behind each data point, there’s a real living being, a real resident in DC who have experienced something as traumatizing as I did, because after that incident, for example, for the past almost three years, I’m still Ubering home every single night, despite actually not living too far from where I work, and I still wouldn’t dare to walk in the street alone by myself at night, especially. So, and to my family as well, I didn’t dare to tell my grandparents, actually, what happened for like, almost two years, because I feel like they could be so devastated that they would just ask me to leave DC and stop working here. So, for me and for my family, it’s a big deal. It’s not just one data point of someone who pulled out his gun, but didn’t actually open fire. It’s much more severe than that. And looking at the data, we know that while city officials are saying that crime in DC is at a 30-year low, but also, if you look at the data more closely, there’s still been over 30,000 crimes just in the last year. And among those, there were over 3,000 violent offenses and over 2,000 robberies, and that means thousands of others lived through something like I did, and their families had to go through the same experience as my family did as well. And what you mentioned as well, homicide— there’s been over 100 homicides in DC, in just this year alone. And that includes, for example, a three-year-old girl, a 21-year-old Capitol Hill intern, and a 33-year-old man who was just shot in the street hours after President Trump announced his latest crackdown action, you know, just a few blocks away from the White House. He was just shot and killed right there. So, it’s important for us to not just look at the data, but really remind ourselves of the real human toll behind it.

Conradson: Do you feel safer now that President Trump has taken the actions that he did, putting hundreds of National Guard troops on the street, hundreds of federal agents, and taking over the police force?

Tao: Well, as someone who has experienced crime like me, feeling safer, for example, also depends on the real data, right? Of course, we’re seeing National Guard troops patrolling the streets. We’re seeing military trucks parked right outside of Union Station. That does make me feel safer, but also just seeing the data trend as well, we know that in the week past President Trump’s announcement, there has been a huge, actually, reduction in crime already, at least in that week, right? We’re seeing, for example, over 50% reduction in robberies and over 80% reduction in carjacking. So, hopefully that trend will continue. That remains to be seen. But again, for victims, including me, we’re very hopeful just seeing that trend starting right now.

Conradson: So I know you’re an expecting mother. If it weren’t for these actions that President Trump is taking, you said that you wouldn’t want to raise your kid here. Tell us more about that.

Tao: That’s actually a large part of the reason why I wrote the op-ed in the Epoch Times describing my experience, which later got shared by the White House press secretary, because as a new mom right now, expecting my own child, that really made me reflect on my expectations for my own child and my child’s own safety and living experience as well. I don’t want my child to live in a city that’s as dangerous as I experienced it to be. So, you’re right as a parent right now, I’m not considering staying and living inside the city, just for the sake of my family, but also, I think that would be something agreeable to parents nationwide. Like, who doesn’t want their kid to grow up in an environment where they can freely play, walk in the street and hang out without the threat of being, you know, threatened, or being attacked, or being shot in the street without, you know, their parents, even knowing? So, we’ve got to look at it from a more human perspective and that’s what being a new parent right now, I think, gave me.

White Coat Waste Project (WCW), a watchdog group dedicated to ending taxpayer-funded animal experiments, has discovered that millions in taxpayer dollars from the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and the State of Florida are being spent on bizarre experiments to create “transgender” monkeys by pumping male rhesus macaques full of estrogen and then injecting them with mRNA vaccines.

The research, published in Cell Reports earlier this month, says that the experiments are aimed at modeling feminizing hormone therapy (FHT) as used by transgender biological males transitioning to “female.”

According to the paper, “To investigate the immune effects of estrogen within a male biological system, we administered exogenous E2 [estrogen] to male RMs [rhesus monkeys], modeling FHT [feminizing hormone therapy] as prescribed to TGW [transgender women].” Twelve young male monkeys were divided into groups and implanted with slow-release pellets containing either estrogen or a placebo.

The results were grotesque.

“FHT [feminizing hormone therapy] induces physical changes in TGW [transgender women], such as breast development, fat and muscle redistribution, and reduction in facial hair. To determine whether exogenous E2 [estrogen] therapy triggered similar female characteristics in male RMs [rhesus monkeys], we evaluated body alterations in the E2-treated animals. We found that male RMs [rhesus monkeys] treated with E2 [estrogen], but not placebo, developed significantly enlarged nipples similar to those of non-pregnant non-lactating female macaques.”

The estrogen-treated males developed “significantly enlarged nipples similar to those of non-pregnant non-lactating female macaques.” Additionally, “skin in the [estrogen]-treated macaques’ hips and thighs also became increasingly reddish and vascularized in a manifestation that resembled sex skin.” To further disrupt their systems, the researchers “artificially disrupted immune homeostasis through LNP/mRNA vaccinations,” injecting the animals with mRNA-based vaccines.

Tragically, one monkey, identified as rh-12, “developed a severe case of scrotal edema following the first E2 implant that was not successfully controlled by diuretic treatment (furosemide). As a result, this monkey was euthanized.”

Funding for this disturbing project came from four NIH grants totaling over $22 million, three of which are still active, including one issued by Dr. Anthony Fauci in 2020.

The grants include U19AI149646 ($13.9 million to Boston Children’s Hospital for an AAV-mediated functional cure), R01HD103494 ($4 million to the University of Florida for preventing obstetric HIV infection), R01HD102252 ($4.1 million to UF for perinatal HIV prevention), and the expired R21AI157929 ($477,000 to UF specifically for studying immunological effects of FHT in transgender women models).

Additional support was provided by the State of Florida through the HIV/AIDS and Emerging Infectious Diseases Institute (HEIDI) at the University of Miami, which has been sponsored by the Florida Department of Health under contracts totaling millions of dollars since 2014.

WCW has estimated that “the NIH, National Science Foundation, U.S. Department of Agriculture, and other federal agencies have wasted at least a quarter-billion tax dollars on transgender animal labs.”

In response, Republican Rep. Nancy Mace introduced the TRANS MICE Act (H.R. 4512) in July, cosponsored by GOP Reps. Paul Gosar, Brandon Gill, and Lauren Boebert. The bill, short for “Transgender Research on Animals Now Stops and Money for Ideological Cruelty Eliminated,” seeks to ban all current and future federal funding for these cruel and unnecessary tests.

The legislation follows President Trump’s criticism of similar spending in his 2025 State of the Union address, which led to the cancellation of at least ten NIH grants, saving millions and sparing thousands of animals.

A group of House Republicans, including Gosar, Boebert, Gill, Mace, Marjorie Taylor Greene, and others, have also recently sent a letter to the House Appropriations Subcommittee on Labor, Health and Human Services, Education, and Related Agencies, demanding a ban on federally funded transgender animal experiments in the FY2026 budget.

The letter states:

Media reports, investigations conducted by the non-profit White Coat Waste Project, and inquiries by the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform have uncovered how dozens of National Institutes of Health (NIH) grants issued under the Biden Administration are funding wasteful and disturbing experiments to create “transfeminine” and “transmasculine” lab animals using invasive surgeries and hormone therapies. The
transgender animals are then wounded, shocked, injected with street drugs and vaccines, and subjected to other disturbing procedures.

President Trump has personally criticized these experiments on several occasions, and the Department of Government Efficiency has cancelled millions in NIH grants funding transgender animal testing. However, many of these NIH grants funding gender transitions for lab animals are still active.

The proposed language would prohibit funds for “research on vertebrate animals for the purpose of studying the effects of drugs, surgery, or other interventions to alter the human body… to no longer correspond to its biological sex.” They cited dozens of active NIH grants under the Biden administration for these “wasteful and disturbing” experiments, including ones where rats on hormones were tested for drug overdoses.

The letter cites a Gateway Pundit report from March, which covered WCW’s revelations that despite early intervention efforts on the part of the Trump Administration [and its Department of Governmental Efficiency] to revoke, freeze, and eliminate several unorthodox government-sponsored experiments involving transgender hormone testing on animals, nearly 40 federal grants, including one disbursed via the Department of Veteran’s Affairs, were still active.

Bureaucrats Defy Trump’s Cuts: Nearly 40 Transgender Animal Experiments, $400M in Tax Dollars, Still Active

The FY2026 NIH spending bill is set to be considered on September 2.

Additionally, WCW’s investigations led to the NIH closing its in-house beagle laboratories after revelations of brutal experiments pumping bacteria into dogs’ lungs and inducing septic shock, marking the end of over 40 years of such practices.

Following the deadly shooting by the hands of another LGBTQ terrorist at Annunciation Catholic School in Minneapolis on August 27, 2025, which resulted in two children killed and 17 others injured during Mass, attention has turned to prior warnings from Minnesota’s Catholic leaders about school safety.

In a resurfaced letter to Governor Tim Walz, the head of the Minnesota Catholic Conference urgently requested funding for security measures at nonpublic schools, highlighting vulnerabilities after previous out-of-state school shootings. The pleas from Minnesota’s bishops for state funding to enhance security at religious and private schools were made in response to incidents in 2022 and 2023, but went unanswered by lawmakers and Governor Tim Walz.

Catholic leaders emphasized that nonpublic schools, including Annunciation, face heightened risks without equal access to public safety resources available to public institutions. The shooting at Annunciation marks another tragedy at a Christian school in recent years, underscoring the bishops’ earlier calls directly to Governor Tim Walz for protective measures like enhanced patrols and infrastructure upgrades.

In the aftermath, Governor Walz has deployed law enforcement officers to support Minneapolis, focusing on schools and places of worship, though critics note this comes after ignoring prior funding requests from private school advocates.

For 70 years, the United States has been fighting a parasite invasion at our southern border:

The United States has, for 70 years, been fighting a continuous aerial war against the New World screwworm, a parasite that eats animals alive: cow, pig, deer, dog, even human. (Its scientific name, C. hominivorax, translates to “man-eater.”) Larvae of the parasitic fly chew through flesh, transforming small nicks into big, gruesome wounds.

The United States government, to prevent the spread of this deadly parasite, blasted flies with radiation to make them sterile and then began intensive campaign of dropping these sterile flies south of the border.

While this effort held the deadly parasite at bay for a time, the containment efforts are now failing:

But in 2022, the barrier was breached. Cases in Panama—mostly in cattle—skyrocketed from dozens a year to 1,000, despite ongoing drops of sterile flies. The parasite then began moving northward, at first slowly and then rapidly by 2024… The U.S. subsequently suspended live-cattle imports from Mexico.

Despite continuing containment efforts by the Trump administration, the first US human case of the flesh eating parasite has been confirmed:

The patient — a Maryland resident — has since recovered from the infection and there was no evidence of further spread, the state’s health department said in a statement.

 Countries in Central America and Mexico have been dealing with an outbreak of the parasite among livestock.

THE THREAT IS REAL

While the American public has become somewhat numb to government warnings when it comes to health issues – a side effect of the disastrous COVID-19 policy – the New World Screwworm is not a joke. The threat is real:

The New World Screwworm is the larval form of a blow fly species native to the Western Hemisphere. Unlike common blow flies that feed on decomposing tissue, screwworm larvae consume living flesh. Female flies lay eggs in open wounds of warm-blooded animals—such as cattle, horses, and wildlife—and the larvae burrow deeper into the tissue, causing severe lesions, infection, and potentially death if untreated.

President Trump has announced that he may allow as many as 600,000 Chinese students to enter the United States. While I generally support most of the president’s decisions, this move poses a serious threat to U.S. national security.

There have been numerous cases of Chinese graduate students stealing American intellectual property and even biological samples. But the most compelling reason to restrict their entry is that Chinese law obligates all citizens to spy for the regime. And the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) routinely threatens or coerces individuals and their families until they comply. By this standard, Chinese students in the U.S. are effectively acting as spies, or what U.S. law officially refers to as “foreign agents.”

Under the Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA), individuals must register if they act “at the order, request, direction, or control of” a foreign principal, even without a contract or formal agreement. The law also considers whether requests are made through coercion or threats, and whether the foreign principal exercises power over the agent. By these standards, Chinese students studying in America meet the definition of foreign agents and should be required to register.

The PRC’s 2017 National Intelligence Law, Article 7, states: “All organizations and citizens shall support, assist, and cooperate with national intelligence efforts in accordance with law, and shall protect national intelligence work secrets they are aware of.” In practice, this means that when intelligence agencies demand information or assistance, compliance is mandatory, and refusal can result in punishment.

The scope of the law is global, applying to all Chinese citizens, organizations, and institutions regardless of location. Failure to aid public or state security agencies constitutes a violation of Chinese law. Its sweeping reach makes it especially dangerous, as “national intelligence” is defined as anything that could endanger the “national security and interests” of the People’s Republic of China, a vague standard the CCP can exploit to classify virtually any academic or scientific research as subject to collection.

The most common coercion tactic is threatening family members who remain in China. U.S. intelligence officials have noted that “the ability to blackmail people into being agents because of threats to their family is very powerful.” In one case, authorities retaliated against Chinese dissident Sulaiman Gu by harassing his relatives and freezing control over a property worth more than $300,000. Similarly, a 2018 New Jersey court case revealed how a former Chinese official living in the U.S. was pressured by the Wuhan-based Xinba Construction Group. He received threats, was harassed outside court, and was later sent a coerced video of his family pleading for his return.

China’s intelligence gathering through students abroad is systematic and organized. Investigations at Stanford revealed that many Chinese nationals are assigned handlers whose job is to collect and relay information. One source explained, “Many Chinese [nationals] have handlers; they [the CCP] want to know everything that’s going on at Stanford. This is a very normal thing. They just relay the information they have.”

Much of this activity is tied to state sponsorship. Many graduate students in the U.S. receive funding from the China Scholarship Council (CSC), a government program that pays tuition and expenses for carefully selected candidates. Recipients must pass party loyalty tests and are reportedly required to visit Chinese consulates to provide updates on their research. The majority of Chinese students in the U.S. are concentrated in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics, fields the CCP prioritizes for espionage. Nearly half pursue advanced degrees, ensuring direct involvement in research.

Through financial sponsorship, ideological vetting, and structured reporting, the CCP has created a pipeline of talent it can exploit for intelligence gathering in sensitive fields across American universities. According to accounts from students themselves, “Every single week I’m asked to meet a handler where I’ll be asked to talk about the research I’m doing, the directions that research is going in, how that research is progressing, and how we could reimplement that research back in China.”

One notable case was that of Ji Chaoqun, who came to Chicago in 2013 to study electrical engineering at the Illinois Institute of Technology and later enlisted in the U.S. Army Reserves.

In 2018 he was arrested for secretly acting as an agent of China’s Ministry of State Security. Convicted of espionage and making false statements to the Army, he was sentenced in 2022 to eight years in prison for attempting to gather information on American engineers and scientists.

In 2024, five students from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, enrolled in an exchange program at the University of Michigan, were caught photographing military equipment at Camp Grayling during training exercises involving Taiwanese forces. Their arrests on espionage-related charges prompted Michigan to sever ties with the Chinese university in early 2025.

Another example is that of Hao Zhang and Wei Pang, doctoral students in electrical engineering in Southern California, who were charged with stealing thin-film bulk acoustic resonator technology from U.S. firms Avago and Skyworks. Between 2010 and 2015, Zhang funneled research to China and was later convicted of economic espionage, theft of trade secrets, and conspiracy.

In September 2020, the U.S. State Department cancelled the visas of 1,000 Chinese students and researchers, citing ties to the People’s Liberation Army and accusations of espionage. A survey by the Center for Strategic and International Studies found that 49 percent of Chinese espionage cases involved individuals directly connected to the military or government.

Nothing has changed in China since then, so it must be assumed that the same proportion of students still have links to intelligence services or can be coerced by the CCP to spy on the United States. Consequently, cancelling all Chinese student visas would be the safer option.
