Rep. Andy Barr was on “Fox News Sunday” with host Shannon Bream to talk about his bid for the US Senate in Kentucky. The seat will be open with the retirement of long-time Senator Mitch McConnell.

Rep. Barr also talked about DHS and criticized the radical left for wanting to defund them.

“We’ve done our job in the House. We’ve fully funded the Department of Homeland Security, including TSA, including ICE, including Border Patrol,” Barr said.

“We were not going to allow the radical left to defund ICE and defund Border Patrol right in the middle of a conflict in the Middle East. This is a dangerous time, and we need full Homeland Security,” Barr continued.

“You said you would support whatever the President decides,” Bream commented on Iran.

“This President has the commander-in-chief power to keep the American people safe. I’m grateful for this President diminishing the military capabilities and the nuclear capabilities of the world’s leading state sponsor of terrorism,” Barr said.

Rep Barr explained that President Trump is going after the Iranian regime in response to their violence and murder against thousands of Americans.

“This President is not starting a war. This President is ending a 47-year war where thousands of Americans have lost their lives to this murderous regime,” Barr continued.

“11,000 targets have been successfully taken out in Iran. This is not going to be an occupation of Tehran,” Barr said.

“How would you be like the man you hope to replace, Senator McConnell? How would you be different?” Bream asked.

“I’m the only candidate in this race who is actually working with this President to pass his agenda,” Barr said.

“I’ve been with him all the way on delivering the largest tax cuts in American history. With him all the way on restoring American energy dominance. With him all the way on rebuilding our military and eliminating the terrorist threat from Iran. And with him all the way on securing the border and tripling funding for immigration enforcement and deporting dangerous illegal criminal aliens,” Barr continued.

An American Airlines flight from New York City to Chicago was diverted Sunday morning to Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport (DTW) after a reported disturbance involving a disruptive passenger.

Flight AA2819 departed John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) at approximately 8:59 a.m., heading to Chicago O’Hare International Airport (ORD).

The Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft was diverted mid-flight and landed at DTW at approximately 11:08 a.m.

Upon landing, the plane was immediately isolated on a remote section of the tarmac and surrounded by emergency vehicles.

Video footage from the scene shows the aircraft stationary and isolated, with law enforcement personnel visible on the ground.

Wayne County Airport Authority Police responded to a reported disturbance aboard the diverted flight. The FBI Detroit field office was also dispatched to the scene.

In a statement released shortly after the diversion, an FBI Detroit spokesperson said:

“I can confirm that personnel from the FBI in Michigan are present at DTW Airport, located in Romulus, Michigan, conducting law enforcement activities. There is no current threat to the public at this time.”

American Airlines issued its own statement confirming the reason for the diversion.

The disruptive passenger was removed from the aircraft.

Passengers were later deplaned and held in the terminal while authorities conducted their investigation and cleared the plane.

No injuries were reported.

As of Sunday evening, neither the FBI nor American Airlines has released additional details about the nature of the disturbance, the passenger’s identity, or whether any criminal charges have been filed.

The exact circumstances that prompted the diversion and the involvement of federal agents remain unclear.

An unhinged liberal woman dressed in a full chicken costume clucked loudly and declared “America’s chickens are coming home to roost” during Saturday’s “No Kings” protest in Los Angeles against President Trump.

Video of the woman’s crazy protest, captured by independent journalist Ford Fischer, was posted to social media on Saturday.

In the bizarre clip, the protester, fully outfitted in yellow feathers and a beak, shimmies around in the crowd while making chicken noises.

The Los Angeles event was one of many held nationwide as part of the third round of “No Kings” demonstrations.

Organizers described the protests as opposition to what they call Trump’s “authoritarian” policies.

Fischer also filmed a group of furries protesting.

Similar odd displays appeared in other cities.

In Nashville, dozens of protesters donned the now-cliche red robes and white bonnets from The Handmaid’s Tale, marching silently while holding signs reading “Shame.”

Protesters in Fort Worth, Kansas City, and other locations wore the same Handmaid’s Tale outfits during their marches.

Inflatable animal costumes were also spotted at many of the protests.

Frogs, unicorns, lobsters, and dinosaurs, popularized during anti-ICE protests in Portland, popped up again at multiple “No Kings” events.

A liberal posted a video complaining about the cartoonish outfits while claiming America had become “fascist.”

Border Czar Tom Homan shut CBS’s Face the Nation host Margaret Brennan down with facts on Sunday when she attempted to push the lie that Republicans in Congress are responsible for the government shutdown affecting the Department of Homeland Security and, most notably, the Transportation Security Administration.

The Democrats shut the government down and have held funding for the entire Department of Homeland Security hostage in order to defund Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) for more than 40 days.

However, Brennan argued to Homan that “Republicans control both chambers,” it’s the fault of Trump and the Republican Party that Homeland Security remains defunded.

Homan fired back, “The Democrats shut down DHS,” adding, “Remember why we’re here. We’re here because the last four years of an open border, millions of people were in this country illegally, many public safety threats, national security threats, and we’re out seeking them and arresting them, and they simply don’t like ICE enforcing the law.”

Still, Brennan continued attempting to blame Trump and Republicans, pressing Homan on why Senate Republicans and House Republicans could not agree to reopen the government with the recent Senate-backed funding bill that did not include funding for ICE.

Homan maintained that he only supports “Congress opening up the entire government, the entire DHS, and not holding people in DHS hostage because they don’t like immigration enforcement.”

Brennan continued to press the issue while conveniently refusing to mention that the government could reopen immediately if Democrats would simply allow ICE to remain funded.

Homan: And the American people hold Congress responsible. They’re on vacation right now while 10s of 1000s of DHS employees aren’t being paid, and that’s what happened at the airport.

Brennan: But Republicans control both chambers. This is the President’s party.

Homan: The Democrats shut down DHS. They voted to shut down DHS because they simply won’t fund DHS because they want to change policies so ICE is less effective in the interior. Remember why we’re here. We’re here because the last four years of an open border, millions of people were in this country illegally, many public safety threats, national security threats, and we’re out seeking them and arresting them, and they simply don’t like ICE enforcing the law. They proved that the last four years. They didn’t let ICE enforce the law.

Homan further confirmed that ICE agents will remain at airports for as long as necessary to secure airports as the FIFA World Cup approaches, after Trump deployed ICE agents to assist with security and long wait times resulting from the Democrat-led shutdown.

As long as vacancies remain from TSA agents who left the job during the shutdown, “ICE will remain in airports to take those jobs to secure the airport,” he said.

Brennan: There’s like 500 TSA officers who have quit. Do you expect to be able to rehire them? And we have some big events like the World Cup coming up in June. Are we going to have problems at airports for the foreseeable future.

Homan: Look, we’re going to continue an ice presence there until the airports feel like they’re in 100%, you know, in a posture where they can do normal operations. If less TSA agents come back, that means we’ll keep more ICE agents there. The President’s been clear.

He wants to secure those airports, especially, as I said earlier, in an increased threat posture. We need to secure those airports. ICE is there to help our brothers and sisters in TSA. We’ll be there as long as they need us until they get back to normal operation to feel like those airports are secure.

Fentanyl and cocaine were found hidden inside the packaging of several Barbie dolls sold at Cargo Largo, a popular discount and resale store in Independence, Missouri, just outside Kansas City.

Security at Cargo Largo contacted the Independence Police Department on Saturday after noticing that a suspicious powder had been taped inside the back of one Barbie doll’s cardboard packaging.

Field tests indicated the presence of fentanyl.

Officers immediately launched an investigation with the store to determine how many packages containing the drugs had been sold.

Law enforcement confirmed that five Barbie doll packages from the same shipment, sold between March 19 and March 20, contained the substance.

Working with Cargo Largo staff and using store records and customer outreach, police located and recovered all five packages within hours.

No injuries or exposures were reported, and the dolls themselves were not contaminated.

Subsequent laboratory testing found that the substance was primarily cocaine with trace amounts of fentanyl, according to Cargo Largo’s official statement.

The store identified the specific source shipment, conducted K-9 sweeps of its facilities (which came back clean), and is now implementing regular inspections to prevent future issues.

Officials emphasized there is no ongoing risk to customers or employees, and they have shared all details with local and federal authorities, including the DEA.

The Independence Police Department stated they have no reason to believe other stores or shipments are affected, but the investigation remains ongoing.

An 18-year-old contestant at the Miss Grand Thailand 2026 preliminaries has gone viral for a horrible reason, after her veneers dislodged during her on-stage introduction.

The contestant handled the awkward moment with remarkable poise.

The preliminary round of the pageant took place earlier this week in Bangkok.

Kamolwan Chanago, representing Pathum Thani province, was introducing herself to judges and the live audience when her upper veneers began to slip, noticeably affecting her speech.

Video of the moment shows Chanago briefly stopping, turning her back to the camera and audience to fix her false teeth, then continuing her intro.

Her response to the situation earned Chanago a round of applause from the audience.

A spokesperson for Miss Grand International issued a statement about the incident to People Magazine.

“During her on-stage introduction, Kamolwan Chanago experienced a minor and unexpected incident in which her veneer teeth became dislodged,” the representative said.

The statement continued, “She handled the situation with professionalism and composure, and the event continued smoothly without disruption. We are proud of her confidence and stage presence throughout the competition.”

“The Miss Grand Thailand pageant includes 77 Thai women competing to be named Miss Grand Thailand 2026. The winner of that event will then move on to become a contestant for the Miss Grand International 2026 pageant in India in October,” the report added.

The Miss Grand Thailand finale is scheduled for March 28 at the MGI Hall in Bangkok.

Christine A. Jones, a 61-year-old housekeeping supervisor from Cottage Grove, Wisconsin, was shot and killed in a downtown Madison parking ramp last week after being targeted by a former coworker for supporting President Donald Trump.

The suspect is her former coworker, 31-year-old Diamond Simone Wallace, who had previously accused Jones of racism because of her support for the president.

Police responded to the 300 block of West Washington Avenue around 8 a.m. on March 22 after reports of a person down in the parking ramp.

Jones was pronounced dead at the scene.

She had parked in the ramp before heading to her shift at a nearby hotel.

According to the criminal complaint, Wallace worked with Jones at the same downtown Madison hotel until he was fired in April of last year.

After the firing, Wallace returned to the hotel, made threats, and caused disturbances. The hotel’s general manager obtained a temporary restraining order against him.

The complaint states Wallace blamed Jones for the termination, slashed the tires on her Chevrolet Silverado, and had previously accused her of being racist just because she supported Trump.

Wallace “expressed animosity towards CAJ [Christine A. Jones] for being a Trump supporter,” the filing reads, according to a report from The Center Square.

The killer was arrested on March 23, the day after the shooting.

Police recovered a handgun and a blue hooded sweatshirt that matched surveillance video from the scene. Ballistics linked the gun to the murder.

Wallace has a prior felony conviction from 2019 for resisting an officer, which prohibited him from possessing a firearm.

The leftist killer appeared in Dane County Court on Wednesday.

Court Commissioner Jason Hanson set cash bail at $2 million.

Wallace has been charged with one count of first-degree intentional homicide and one count of possession of a firearm by a felon. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for April 1 at 2:30 p.m.

The Republican Party of Dane County issued a statement condemning the violence:

“No grievance, no workplace conflict, no personal resentment justifies violence. We reject any attempts to politicize this tragedy, but we cannot ignore the pain of losing a Dane County woman’s life… Dane County deserves better. Our neighbors deserve better. We must all do better. Be better humans. Choose decency. Reject violence.”

As of Sunday, no major national legacy media outlets have reported the political motive detailed in the criminal complaint.

If a Trump supporter had killed someone over political beliefs, it would dominate headlines for weeks with screams of “MAGA extremism” and “threats to democracy.” But when the victim is a conservative grandmother targeted for supporting Trump? Crickets.

A No Kings protester in Los Angeles was filmed vandalizing a federal building with a message calling for violence against ICE agents.

And rioters actually used deadly weapons, including concrete blocks, against agents and officers.

At least two people were reportedly arrested for assaulting federal officers, and two officers were injured by concrete chunks that were lobbed at them, according to federal officials. At least 75 arrests were made in total.

Videos from the riot show rioters breaking concrete blocks to be used as weapons and taunting agents on the other side of a security fence.

The Los Angeles police department deployed tear gas to disperse rioters as they were assaulted. At least one man was tackled by multiple officers as they attempted to fend off the violent mob.

First Assistant U.S. Attorney for the Central District of California Bill Essayli issued a notice to the rioters on X, writing, “My office has authorized immediate arrests for anyone assaulting law enforcement. You will be arrested and charged with a federal felony.”

He later posted a photo of a suspect, writing,

The Los Angeles Police Department’s incident commander declared a citywide tactical alert around 5:10 p.m. Saturday after a group of demonstrators started kicking a fence in front of the Metropolitan Detention Center at Alameda and Temple streets. Demonstrators were ordered to leave the area.

“Protestors on Alameda between Aliso and Temple have been warned multiple times by Federal Authorities to not attempt to tear down the gate and not throw items,” a post on an LAPD social media account said.
