A shocking spring break stunt that went viral for all the wrong reasons has now ended in tragedy.
A 22-year-old spring breaker, identified as Michael Brown, has died after being flung from the roof of a speeding Jeep while allegedly twerking during a drunken joyride in Port Aransas, Texas, the New York Post reported.
The disturbing incident, which was caught on video and spread rapidly across social media, showed the young man dancing half-naked on top of the moving vehicle as it sped down a highway.
Moments later, that so-called “fun” turned into a nightmare.
According to reports, 24-year-old driver Riley Rhoades was later arrested for driving while intoxicated (DWI) and crashed into another vehicle, sending the 22-year-old flying off the Jeep and onto the pavement, where he suffered catastrophic head injuries.

NEW: The spring breaker who was seen dancing on top of a Jeep in Port Aransas, Texas, has sadly died.
22-year-old Michael Brown suffered a fatal head injury and passed away on Friday, according to local reports.
Video shared on social media showed a shirtless man climbing out of the Jeep’s roof and twerking as it drove down the highway just moments before impact.
The Jeep driver, Riley Rhoades, 24, was arrested after blowing .14 and .12 blood alcohol content (BAC) during breath tests, according to court documents obtained by KIII 3 News.
In Texas, the legal BAC limit is .08, and Rhoades has been charged with one count of intoxication assault and is being held in the Nueces County Jail on a $10,000 bond.
Footage from the scene of the crash showed three swimsuit-clad young people next to the shattered Jeep while EMS assisted an injured person on the road.
Another person involved in the crash was reportedly hospitalized with a serious head injury.

Angry liberals on social media are calling racism because the Trump administration granted asylum to white South Africans facing persecution, while simultaneously restricting or denying entry to asylum seekers from dozens of other countries.
These same liberals and their media allies have claimed that the genocide against white South Africans is untrue, despite the fact that Julius Malema, leader of the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF), the third-largest party in the South African parliament, has repeatedly closed his campaign rallies by singing “Dubul’ ibhunu,” an isiXhosa song that translates to “Kill the Boer” or “Kill the farmer.”
Just four days after Trump called for his arrest, Malema launched into the chant again at a rally in the Free State, shouting, “Shoot to kill. Kill the Boer, the farmer.”
In August 2025, the Equality Court found Malema guilty of hate speech over a speech in which he called for a white man to be killed, with the court ruling it was “a clear attempt to promote hatred” and stating that “whilst calling out someone who behaves as a racist may be acceptable, calling for them to be killed is not.” Malema has appealed.
As for the murder statistics, both sides cite data selectively. According to the Transvaal Agricultural Union, a group sympathetic to Afrikaner farmers, the total number of farm murders in South Africa between 1990 and 2024 stood at 2,229, including 1,363 white farmers, 529 relatives of white farmers, and smaller numbers of white workers and visitors, alongside 88 Black farmers and 188 Black workers. On average, 56 white South Africans were killed on farms per year over that 35-year period.
The most recent full-year data from South African police records 25,423 total murders in 2024/2025, an average of 69 per day, of which 358 occurred on agricultural land, with only 42 involving individuals classified as part of the farming community.
When we look at the actual numbers involved in the Trump resettlement program, the scale is negligible. On May 12, 2025, the first group of 59 white South Africans arrived at Dulles International Airport in Virginia, welcomed by Deputy Secretary of State Christopher Landau and granted P-1 refugee status. A second group of nine arrived shortly after on June 2, 2025.
This is set against a U.S. asylum system that is overwhelmed at a completely different order of magnitude. As of the end of FY2025, there were 2,424,061 pending asylum applications in immigration courts alone. At the end of FY2024, a further 1,446,908 affirmative asylum applications were pending with USCIS, with the total immigration court backlog exceeding 3.7 million open removal cases as of January 2025.
In other words, the 68 white South Africans admitted represent approximately 0.003 percent of pending asylum cases in the U.S. system, a rounding error. The liberal outrage is not proportional to the numbers.
The visa situation for sub-Saharan Africans is a much larger issue. In the 2024–25 academic year, there were 65,385 students from sub-Saharan African nations studying at U.S. colleges and universities.
That sub-Saharan figure does not include North Africa. Adding Egypt, Morocco, and other North African countries pushes the total for the African continent higher, with the combined number including North Africa estimated at approximately 80,000–85,000 for that year.
The Trump administration halted visas for African students as a collateral effect of broader national security proclamations. Proclamation 10949, issued June 4, 2025, and Proclamation 10998, issued December 16, 2025, and effective January 1, 2026, suspended both immigrant and nonimmigrant visas under Section 212(f) of the Immigration and Nationality Act.
That provision grants the president broad authority to suspend the entry of any class of foreign nationals deemed detrimental to U.S. interests, authority the Supreme Court upheld during Trump’s first term.
Because the nonimmigrant category explicitly includes F, M, and J visas, students from affected countries lost their visa pathway as a direct consequence.
Proclamation 10949 originally targeted 12 countries: Afghanistan, Burma, Chad, Congo, Equatorial Guinea, Eritrea, Haiti, Iran, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, and Yemen. Proclamation 10998 expanded the full suspension to include Burkina Faso, Mali, Niger, South Sudan, and Syria, bringing the total under complete suspension to 19 countries, with partial restrictions extending to 30 sub-Saharan African nations overall.
The proclamations cited six justifications drawn from State Department, DHS, and intelligence community reviews: deficient civil documentation systems unable to verify births, marriages, or basic biographical data; fraudulent document markets where civil records are handwritten and easily altered; refusal by at least one government to provide passport exemplars; government instability leaving portions of national territory outside state control; high visa overstay rates, with countries like Zambia and Zimbabwe cited at 15 to 21 percent; and law enforcement records too unreliable to provide accurate criminal histories to U.S. authorities.
Two additional policies compounded the impact on African students. Starting January 21, 2026, the State Department suspended immigrant visa processing for applicants from 75 countries, citing public charge concerns and the need to ensure financial self-sufficiency. The measure is broader than Africa but affects many African nations.
Separately, the Student Criminal Alien Initiative led DHS and the State Department to terminate F-1 visas for thousands of foreign students who appeared in the National Crime Information Center database, including many never arrested or convicted of any crime. This initiative applied globally, though African students were among those affected.
Of course, a federal judge in Boston ruled that a lawsuit by the Presidents’ Alliance on Higher Education and Immigration challenging the mass revocations as arbitrary and capricious can proceed and that the administration’s actions are subject to judicial review.
Chicago’s Loop district descended into chaos as social media-fueled teen mobs overwhelmed police, leaving one dead and exposing how liberal officials’ soft-on-crime rhetoric has emboldened lawless youth takeovers that terrorize law-abiding residents and businesses.
Social Media Fuels Downtown Disorder
Hundreds of teenagers converged on Chicago’s Roosevelt and Canal intersection Saturday evening, March 23, 2024, after social media posts promoted an unsupervised gathering. The crowd overwhelmed the South Loop area near transit hubs, banks, and retail establishments around 7 p.m. What began as a meetup rapidly escalated into violence when gunfire erupted at approximately 8:06 p.m. in a BMO Harris Bank parking lot. A 17-year-old boy was fatally shot in the chest and neck, while a 15-year-old sustained leg wounds. Police immediately detained the gunman and recovered the firearm as chaos unfolded across multiple blocks.
Mass Arrests Follow Deadly Shooting
Commander David Harris of the Central/1st District ordered mass detentions via radio, announcing “Anybody that’s on the street, they’re going to jail.” Dozens of juveniles were arrested, with formal charges filed against 12 individuals—eight juveniles and one adult. Charges included disorderly conduct for teens aged 14-17, assault, and reckless conduct. Adult Sybrina Collins, 18, faced resisting arrest charges. Three additional juveniles received curfew citations. The aggressive enforcement marked a shift from previous lenient approaches that critics argue allowed these gatherings to proliferate. This incident mirrored a July 30, 2023 takeover at the same location where 400 youths looted stores, resulting in 40 arrests and three firearms seized.
Political Enablement of Youth Violence
Mayor Brandon Johnson previously criticized use of the term “mob action” to describe similar teen takeovers, downplaying the severity of coordinated youth violence. This soft rhetoric stands in stark contrast to the reality facing South Loop residents and business owners who endure repeated disruptions. Alderman Brian Hopkins reported another incident on November 22, 2025, near the State and Randolph intersection following a Christmas tree lighting, claiming 300 juveniles rioted with five shot and officers injured by mace and stun guns. Police did not confirm Hopkins’ casualty figures, highlighting the disconnect between political narratives and street-level chaos. The pattern reveals how liberal city leadership prioritizes optics over public safety, refusing to acknowledge the organized nature of these social media-driven attacks.
Eroding Safety and Economic Stability
These recurring teen takeovers impose substantial costs on Chicago’s downtown corridor. Businesses face temporary closures, property damage, and lost revenue while policing expenses skyrocket. The South Loop’s high-traffic location near transit makes it vulnerable to flash mob gatherings that can materialize within hours of social media posts. Security firms like Titan Security now monitor and predict these events, reflecting the normalization of chaos that should outrage every taxpayer. Tourism and economic development suffer as the Loop’s reputation deteriorates. Families of victims bear the ultimate cost—a 17-year-old lost his life while city officials debate terminology rather than implementing effective deterrents that protect constitutional rights to public safety and commerce.
Pattern of Failed Progressive Policies
Chicago’s inability to prevent these takeovers stems from years of progressive policies that prioritize social narratives over law enforcement. The post-COVID era saw flash mobs and youth unrest evolve into organized disruptions, yet city leadership resists labeling them appropriately or implementing meaningful consequences. Proactive youth programs and outreach workers prove ineffective when overwhelmed by hundreds of unsupervised teens emboldened by prior leniency. The February 2024 “Trend Teen Meetup” at 150 West Roosevelt and subsequent incidents demonstrate a predictable cycle: social media promotion, mass gatherings, violence, minimal accountability, and repetition. Law-abiding Chicagoans deserve leadership that prioritizes their safety over political correctness, enforces existing laws without apology, and holds perpetrators accountable regardless of age when they commit violent crimes that destroy communities.
The Gateway Pundit reported that a sitting Democrat member of Congress from Broward County, Sheila Cherfilus-McCormick (D-FL), surrendered to federal authorities in December 2025, amid explosive allegations that she orchestrated a scheme to steal and launder $5 million in FEMA COVID-19 disaster relief funds.
On Thursday, Cherfilus-McCormick is expected to testify before the House Ethics Committee during a hearing, the first time the panel will hold a public hearing against a lawmaker since 2010. It is scheduled to begin at 2:00 pm ET.
In the 15-count federal indictment, she is alleged to have used some of the funds to bankroll her 2021 congressional campaign and to purchase a luxury yellow diamond ring.
She faces charges including conspiracy, theft of government funds, money laundering, making and receiving straw-donor contributions, and filing false statements on her federal tax return.
According to the Department of Justice, prosecutors allege that Cherfilus-McCormick and her 51-year-old brother, Edwin Cherfilus, siphoned off $5,057,850 FEMA funds.
The case is separate from a sprawling federal indictment accusing Cherfilus-McCormick of stealing more than $5 million in disaster relief funds to finance her inaugural congressional run in 2021 and purchase luxury items, including a large diamond ring. The Florida Democrat is also alleged to have participated in a straw donor scheme and conspired to file a false federal tax return.
Cherfilus-McCormick has repeatedly sought to delay the hearing, citing the ongoing federal criminal case and losing her legal representation earlier in March. It is not clear whether the Florida Democrat will be represented by an attorney at the hearing.
Accepting excessive contributions from individuals and entities beyond federal limits.
Accepting illegal corporate contributions (including from Petrogaz-Haiti S.A., LLC, allegedly funded by foreign/Haitian government sources).
Using illegal conduit/straw donor contributions (hiding the true source of funds).
Systemic misreporting to the FEC: incorrect payees, amounts, dates, and sources of contributions/expenditures across multiple election cycles (2018, 2020, 2022, etc.).
Failing to properly report (or misreporting) candidate loans and repayments.
Commingling personal, business, and campaign funds.
Criminal Conduct Tied to Campaign Funding
Money laundering of improperly retained government funds ( via FEMA/COVID payments to her family’s company, Trinity Health Care Services, LLC), with portions allegedly funneled into her 2021–2022 congressional campaign.
Money laundering of illegal campaign contributions (e.g., from Petrogaz-Haiti-related entities).
Making false statements on FEC reports.
Financial Disclosure Violations
Failure to file required candidate Financial Disclosure Statements (for 2018, 2020, and 2022 candidacies).
Knowing and willful filing of inaccurate disclosures, including underreporting or mischaracterizing income from her businesses (e.g., large “consulting/profit-sharing” payments from Trinity that lacked supporting documentation).
Code of Ethics for Government Service & House Rules
Providing special favors to allies/friends in connection with congressional community project funding/earmark requests (steering benefits to for-profit or connected entities).
Accepting impermissible voluntary services for official House work.
Conduct that does not reflect creditably on the House.
On the one hand, the US supports Ukraine against Russia in their 4-year war, while Russia supports Iran against the US in their recent military confrontation.
But on the other hand, the United States and the Russian Federation have been engaged in a difficult but potentially rewarding détente.

South Carolina Republican Congressman Joe Wilson was rushed to the emergency room on Wednesday night after he slipped in his bathroom and hit his head.
Rep. Wilson, 78, received stitches and will remain hospitalized under observation.
“Last evening, Congressman Wilson slipped in the bathroom of his residence in Washington, DC and cut his head. He was taken to the Emergency Room of a local hospital where he received stitches and is under observation to rule out a concussion,” Wilson’s office said.
“He is alert and working from his hospital room,” Wilson’s office said.
In September 2024, Wilson was taken to a hospital after he collapsed at an event in DC.
Doctors confirmed that Wilson had ‘stroke-like’ symptoms.

In some unsurprising yet extremely alarming news, a report has revealed that the Ukrainian government launched a sinister scheme to ensure Trump never entered the White House again after he announced his re-election bid in 2022.
Just the News reported Wednesday night that the Ukrainian government discussed a plan to transfer hundreds of millions of dollars to Joe Biden’s ill-fated re-election campaign and the Democratic National Committee. The messages were intercepted by U.S. intelligence.
The scheme involved using hundreds of millions of U.S. dollars of so-called ‘clean energy’ that were supposed to help the country, and instead reward Trump’s enemies.
Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard is aware of these intercepts and has ordered U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) officials to determine whether the plot was carried out and if this matter should be criminally referred to the FBI.
U.S. intelligence intercepted Ukrainian government communications discussing a plot to route hundreds of millions of American tax dollars earmarked for clean energy in the war-torn country and move them to the United States to enrich then-President Joe Biden’s 2024 re-election campaign and the Democratic National Committee, according to a declassified intelligence report summarizing the intercepts that was obtained by Just the News.
The declassified report is a summary of raw intercepts from U.S. spy agencies in late 2022 concerning the alleged plot, and officials who have reviewed the files said there seemed to be a lack of curiosity to investigate such an explosive allegation of foreign interference in a U.S. election.
The Ukrainian Government and unspecified U.S. Government personnel, through USAID in Kyiv, reportedly developed a plan that would provide hundreds of millions of US taxpayer dollars to fund an infrastructure project for Ukraine that would be used as a cover to send approximately 90% of funds allocated to the DNC to fund Joe Biden’s reelection campaign,” the declassified summary of the intercepts stated.
“They were confident the project would be funded initially, even though at some time in the future, the project would be disapproved as unnecessary. At this time, the money would already be allocated and impossible to return or use for a different purpose,” the report added.
Officials went on to elaborate that two U.S. subcontractors could receive the funding.
The money would then be eventually transferred into Biden and the DNC’s pockets.

The Biden regime did not investigate the allegations and was not tied to Russian disinformation efforts.
One can imagine that this development will surely enrage Trump and prove unhelpful to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy should he decide to shake down America for more money for the war.
It also serves as a distraction from the ongoing peace talks between Russia and Ukraine, which are currently deadlocked.
The Iran War entered its 27th day on Thursday as President Donald Trump expressed his frustrations on Truth Social over Iran’s rejection of a ceasefire, warning Iranian negotiators to “get serious soon, before it is too late.”
A source told Iran’s Tasnim News Agency on Thursday morning that Iran has responded to the 15-point plan put forward by the Trump administration. The source said that Iran sees Trump’s diplomatic moves as a “third deception” project, intended to project a peaceful image, calm oil markets, and buy time for a ground invasion.
Iran’s Speaker of Parliament Mohammad Ghalibaf on Wednesday said that Iran has intelligence indicating that the U.S. and one other “country in the region” are preparing for a land invasion to occupy one of Iran’s islands. “Our forces are monitoring all enemy movements, and if they take any action, all of that regional state’s vital infrastructure will be targeted with continuous and relentless attacks,” Ghalibaf warned on X.
Iranian lawmaker Mohammadreza Rezaei Kouchi said that Iran’s “parliament is pursuing a plan to formally codify Iran’s sovereignty, control and oversight over the Strait of Hormuz, while also creating a source of revenue through the collection of fees.” Under the plan, vessels would be charged a fee for transit in exchange for security.
The price of Brent crude rose 4.5 percent on Thursday, to more than $107 per barrel. In America, gas prices remained elevated, with AAA reporting the national average price of gas at $3.98.
An OECD forecast released on Thursday predicts that the Middle East crisis will fuel a surge in U.S. inflation to 4.2 per cent this year.
The Washington Postreported that the Pentagon is considering whether to divert weapons intended for Ukraine to the Middle East, due to the rapid depletion of critical munitions from the Iran conflict.
Iran said Thursday it had struck more than 70 targets across Israel in a new wave of retaliatory attacks, with missile impacts reported near Haifa, Dimona, Hadera, and east of Tel Aviv.
Iran on Wednesday evening targeted U.S.-linked military sites in Jordan and Kuwait, while also firing at targets in Iraq near the U.S. consulate.
Tehran further claimed it had struck the USSAbraham Lincoln with cruise missiles. The U.S. has neither confirmed nor denied those claims. CENTCOM said that the carrier “continues flight operations against military targets in Iran while sailing in regional waters.”
Israel said it assassinated the head of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corp’s navy, arguing that he was responsible for closing the Strait of Hormuz.
A Houthi leader told Reuters on Thursday that the Yemen-based group is prepared to join the war. “We stand fully militarily ready with all options,” the leader said.
Reuters reported on Wednesday that Hezbollah has received “Iranian guarantees” on its inclusion in any wider deal. “Iran is prioritizing Lebanon—it will not accept Israeli violations in Lebanon like what happened after the 2024 ceasefire,” an anonymous source said.
Human Rights Watch researchers said they were able to verify that Israel is again using white phosphorus bombs in strikes on southern Lebanon. Oxfam on Tuesday issued a statement expressing concern that “Israel’s military blueprint of attacking water infrastructure, used throughout its genocide in Gaza, is now being rolled out across parts of Lebanon.”

On Thursday, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced that Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Navy Commander Alireza Tangsiri was killed in a precision strike in Bandar Abbas.
Tangsiri frequently bragged on social media about closing the Strait.
On March 10, he wrote (translated from Persian), “At the beginning of the war, we declared—and we declare again—No vessel associated with the aggressors against Iran has the right to pass through #StraitofHormuz.”
“If you have any doubt, come closer and test it.”

Served in this position over the past 8 years, following serving in several key positions in the IRGC Navy, including overseeing the regime’s terror activities.
Was responsible for the strikes throughout the years toward oil containers and trading ships, and constituted a central figure that threatened the maritime navigation and trade freedom in the Strait of Hormuz and the international maritime domain.
Throughout Operation Roaring Lion, led efforts to close the Strait of Hormuz and oversaw maritime terrorism carried out against countries in the Middle East, as well as against U.S. and other nations’ energy infrastructure.
Was directly responsible for disrupting the global economy and was subject to numerous international sanctions due to his personal involvement in carrying out terror attacks against vessels in international waters, as well as in the transfer of air defense systems and UAVs to Russia and Syria.

In 2019, the U.S. Department of the Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) Tangsiri was sanctioned by the United States and other countries for his role in IRGC activities, including involvement with companies linked to drone (UAV) production for the IRGC.
Today’s action targets commanders of the IRGC’s Navy, Aerospace, and Ground Forces, in addition to the commanders of the IRGC Navy’s (IRGCN) five naval districts. These include the naval district commanders who are responsible for the IRGCN’s activities off the coast of the southern provinces of Khuzestan, Bushehr, and Hormozgan, which lie adjacent to the Persian Gulf and the Strait of Hormuz.
OFAC is designating IRGCN Commander Ali Reza Tangsiri pursuant to E.O. 13224 for acting for or on behalf of the IRGC.
As recently as February 2019, Tangsiri threatened that the Iranian regime’s forces would close the Strait of Hormuz, an international waterway, if U.S. sanctions stopped Iran’s oil exports, and that the Iranian regime is prepared to target U.S. interests in the region.
As the commander of the IRGCN, Tangsiri sits atop a structure—including those regional IRGCN commanders sanctioned today—that is responsible for the sabotage of vessels in the international waters.
Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders is promoting a significant expansion of federal estate taxes that would dramatically increase the government’s claim on family wealth passed between generations, raising constitutional concerns about property rights and the impact on family-owned businesses.
The Estate Tax Proposal
Speaking at the Martin Luther King Jr. Day event in Columbia, South Carolina on January 21, Sanders outlined his vision for higher estate taxes targeting wealthy Americans. The Vermont senator argued against allowing families to transfer substantial wealth to their children, characterizing inherited wealth as unjustified regardless of how it was earned. His proposal represents one of the most aggressive estate tax expansions discussed by presidential candidates, fundamentally challenging the American principle that parents should determine how their life’s work benefits their children.
Constitutional and Economic Concerns
The proposal raises serious questions about property rights guaranteed under the Constitution. American families have traditionally enjoyed the freedom to pass wealth to their children without excessive government interference. Estate taxes already claim up to forty percent of assets above certain thresholds, forcing many family farms and small businesses to sell assets just to pay tax bills. Sanders’s plan would expand this burden significantly, potentially destroying multigenerational family enterprises that represent decades of hard work, risk-taking, and sacrifice by parents hoping to provide for their children’s futures.
The Broader Implications
This proposal reflects a fundamental disagreement about American values. Conservative principles hold that families, not government bureaucrats, should decide how to use wealth they have legally earned and already paid taxes on during their lifetimes. The characterization of inheritance as illegitimate ignores the reality that most wealthy families created their success through innovation, hard work, and job creation. Double-taxing estates discourages savings and investment while expanding government power over private family decisions. Americans who believe in limited government and individual liberty should carefully consider whether empowering Washington to confiscate family wealth aligns with constitutional principles of property rights and economic freedom that built this nation’s prosperity.
