Griping about the White House Correspondents’ Dinner security misses the point.

The main question I have about Donald Trump’s latest attempted assassin, Cole Tomas Allen—a teacher, naturally—is: I wonder whether he was a fair grader to Trump supporters?

One question I don’t have is whether some new security protocol could stop random nuts from doing insane things in a country of 340 million people.

Every journalist who was at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner seems to be writing pieces saying, first, that they were at the dinner; second, they really, really were at the dinner—that was them sitting next to the energy secretary!—and third, that they noticed the lax security at the time.

Do not blame Democrats and the media for activating unstable personalities with their nonstop hysterical denunciations of President Donald Trump, provably a member of the Waffen SS! To mention just a few of the lovely sobriquets they’ve given the president:

• fascist (former Vice President Kamala Harris, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, Sen. Elizabeth Warren, Reps. Jamie Raskin (D-MD), Ayanna Pressley (D-MA) and Ed Markey (D-MA), Trump’s first White House chief of staff John Kelly, Trump’s first Joint Chiefs chairman, Mark Milley—“fascist to the core”—MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow, NPR, etc.);
• Nazi (Hillary Clinton, the former President Joe Biden, Illinois Gov. J.B. Pritzker, Tim Walz, MSNBC, CNN, The New York Times, the Guardian, etc.);
• racist (Biden, Harris, Sens. Bernie Sanders (I-VT), Elizabeth Warren (D-MA), Kirsten Gillibrand (D-NY); former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), Reps. Jerry Nadler (D-NY), Ilhan Omar (D-MN), Jasmine Crockett (D-TX), Yvette Clarke (D-NY), Frederica Wilson (D-FL), Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), Don Lemon, Rachel Maddow—“openly racist president”—the Washington Post’s Eugene Robinson, the New York Times’ David Leonhardt; the New Yorker’s John Cassidy, CNN, MSNBC, The Guardian, etc.).

And so on.

Just tighten up security around the man they describe as a mortal threat to humanity. Noticeably, none of the proposed security measures would have stopped Allen. 

The Atlantic’s Shane Harris wrote that over “the many years I have been a guest”—the rest of the piece is just filler—“I can’t recall anyone giving my invitation more than a passing glance.” Similarly, the BBC’s Gary O’Donoghue complained that, “the man on the door outside only took a cursory look at my ticket from what must have been six feet away.”

A closer examination of the tickets might have kept out striving, second-rate journalists hoping to sneak into the posh event, but wouldn’t have stopped Allen, who was staying at the hotel.

Harris also noted that “no one has asked to see my identification.” No one even asked for my embossed business cards which I had printed at Smythson of Bond Street.

That wouldn’t have stopped Allen, either. He had an ID, and he didn’t have a record. (Which is actually pretty impressive, considering that, according to liberals, black people don’t know how to get IDs.)

Attendees did have to walk through magnetometers, which Allen could not do, principally because he was carrying a 12-gauge pump-action Mossberg shotgun, a .38 semiautomatic pistol, and three knives. Rest assured, Secret Service agents may have trouble with roofs, but they are trained to look for men sprinting past them with small arsenals.

Everyone keeps citing the assessment of the aspiring assassin himself, who griped: “This level of incompetence is insane.” I’m not sure Allen has the best judgment, but that “level of incompetence” was enough to put him on the ground in shackles, half a football field away from the president.

Allen never even made it to the same floor as the ballroom where the dinner was being held. And if he had, Secret Service agents were manning the ballroom doors to prevent anyone from entering after the president had arrived.

Even if Allen had magically floated past the agents, the doors and other obstacles in his way, maybe he could have taken out a few lobbyists in the back of the room, and that would have been traumatic for the country. Who would represent Lockheed Martin?

There’s a better chance of Washington’s elite being shot or knifed walking to the Hilton. Even factoring in all the psychos who keep trying to kill Trump (with the active encouragement of Democrats), everyone in that room is less likely to be killed by a crazed gunman than to die from a heart attack, a car accident, a fall, a mugging, an allergic reaction, an overdose or a suicide.

But because Saturday night’s freakishly rare event was so dramatic, lawmakers will inevitably try to “do something” that will end up making things much, much worse.

To take one example, off the top of my head, responding to the 9/11 terrorist attack, we got the DMV ladies at the airport—or as the Times promised us, a “highly trained federal force.”

In tests, TSA screeners don’t catch 90 percent of weapons. But on the upside, the whole pointless exercise eats up about 300 million hours of American travelers’ time each year, or the equivalent of 428 full human lives. Over the past 25 years of this horror, that amounts to more than three times as many Americans as died on 9/11.

Air travel has become so unpleasant that millions of Americans prefer to drive—a method of transportation that is 190 times more likely to kill them than flying. Many consider that a fair trade-off.

Ending TSA would save more American lives than the Iran War ever could. And rather than costing $230 billion, it would save us $15 billion. (We’d also free up more security guards to work Carnival cruise lines.)

One nervous WHCD attendee later wrote of his experience: “The worst-case scenario I could imagine was a handful of heavily armed gunmen rampaging through the ballroom.”

Is that what we have to guard against? We’ll have to return to the Covid-19 lockdowns, and then we’ll all die of heart attacks from fear of armed gunmen bursting into our homes.

A better idea is to accept the fact that no new regulation can prevent bad things from ever happening, and the best we can do is lock up criminals, not allow other countries’ criminals to immigrate here, and ask Democrats to drop the Tourette’s syndrome whenever they talk about Trump.

Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth testified in Congress before the House Armed Services Committee on Wednesday, answering questions about the ongoing war with Iran. “It’s been an astounding military success,” Hegseth told House members. 

Hegseth clashed with Rep. Ro Khanna (D-CA) about the total costs of the conflict. “What would you pay to ensure Iran doesn’t get a nuclear bomb?” Hegseth asked while being pressed by the lawmaker.

Jules Hurst, the Pentagon’s acting comptroller, testified alongside Hegseth and said the U.S. has so far spent “about $25 billion” on the war, mostly on ammunition. It is the first public estimate by the Department of Defense of the war’s total cost.
Protesters were seen confronting Hegseth on Capitol Hill, with demonstrators overheard asking Hegseth about the Minab school bombing, which killed more than 160 schoolchildren in Iran at the start of the war.

Republicans could pick up as many as 27 additional House seats following the Supreme Court’s decision to curb race-based redistricting, a shift that could reshape the 2026 midterm map.

The projection stems from analysis of how congressional districts may be redrawn now that states are no longer required to prioritize race when complying with Section 2 of the Voting Rights Act.

Estimates indicate that weakening Section 2 enforcement could ultimately produce even larger gains, with Axios reporting that 27 seats could shift toward Republicans over time.

The impact could be significant given the current balance of power in the House, where relatively small seat changes determine control.

The Louisiana case at the center of the ruling involved a dispute over a second majority-Black district added after legal challenges.

A group of voters later sued, arguing the map relied too heavily on race, and federal courts agreed before the issue reached the Supreme Court.

The Court’s decision effectively limits how Section 2 can be used to force states into drawing districts based on racial composition.

This removes a major legal obstacle for Republican-led legislatures seeking to revisit congressional maps ahead of 2026.

Ongoing legal battles in Texas and Florida suggest that mid-cycle redistricting efforts are already underway, with courts allowing those maps to remain in place while challenges proceed.

Republicans are also expected to benefit from structural advantages in turnout and district geography, which, combined with new map flexibility, could further strengthen their position.

The ruling does not eliminate the Voting Rights Act but significantly narrows its application in redistricting cases, reducing the likelihood of successful legal challenges based on racial representation claims.

While most pollsters believe that Democrats will take back the House in November, there are some signs that a so-called “blue wave” is not a foregone conclusion.

Just this week, a Harvard poll found that the two parties are tied 50-50 on the Congressional ballot, with voter engagement even showing a slight edge to Republicans.

This is not a fringe “conspiracy theory.” It was revealed by the government’s own investigation—and it’s a story they don’t want you to read.

According to VAERS, the US’s vaccine adverse event reporting system, more adverse events and deaths have been reported following COVID vaccines than from all other vaccines combined over the system’s 30+ year history.

More dangerous than ivermectin. More dangerous than hydroxychloroquine (which turned out not to be so dangerous after all).

It was 55 times more deadly than the flu vaccine (0.46 deaths vs 25.5 deaths per million doses).

And even more dangerous than Remdesivir, which earned the nickname “Run Death Is Near” after it wreaked havoc on the kidneys and livers of tens of thousands of COVID patients in the hospital.

But still the question remains. How did US health officials miss a safety signal this big?

The U.S. Senate Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations investigated what federal health officials knew and when they knew it.

It turns out they knew the safety signal was there. But they didn’t see it as a warning sign. They saw it as a “pest.”

So much of a “pest” that they decided it was better to ignore the devastating safety signals and let people die than to deal with the data head-on because it could stoke “vaccine hesitancy.”

On March 1, 2021, less than three months after the rollout of the COVID-19 injections, Dr. Ana Szarfman, an employee at CDER and safety data mining developer, warned that the FDA’s existing system could hide vaccine safety signals due to a flaw called “masking.”

She proposed a newer method developed by statistician Dr. William DuMouchel that corrected for this issue and, when applied, detected “49 examples of extreme masking” that the standard system did not.

These “49 examples of extreme masking” include not “minor” but serious adverse events:

• Bell’s palsy

• Cardiac failure

• Acute left ventricular failure

• Agonal rhythm (severe end-of-life arrhythmia)

• Pulmonary infarction

• Cerebral artery occlusion

• Aortic stenosis

• Sudden cardiac death

• Hypertensive emergency

• Basal ganglia stroke

When Dr. Szarfman proposed a new method, she was told to “hold off on creating and sending data mining reports and analyses.”

Later, they “made it clear” that she “needs to focus on her assigned work” and “should not be discussing or providing internal analyses externally.”

As Dr. Szarfman puts it, her work became a “pest” for raising concerns about safety signal masking.

Remember this face. This is Dr. Peter Marks, the FDA’s former top vaccine official.

In September 2021, Dr. Marks decided that Dr. Szarfman’s COVID vaccine data-mining days were over.

He informed Dr. Patrizia Cavazzoni, the then director of CDER, that Dr. Szarfman “has been asked to cease and desist conducting her data analysis.”

Dr. Marks complained that Dr. Szarfman’s work had become “a major distraction” and that her efforts could “create erroneous conflicts that feed into anti-vaccination rhetoric.”

Dr. Szarfman went on to retire from the FDA in 2025 after more than 35 years of service.

She raised concerns about safety signal masking. The FDA essentially told her to shut up.

Because in their eyes, “49 examples of extreme masking” could create “erroneous conflicts” and fuel “vaccine hesitancy.”

So, health officials decided to let people die from devastating side effects and bury the data because it was too inconvenient to take head-on.

People should be going to jail for this.

Dr. Szarfman went on to retire from the FDA in 2025 after more than 35 years of service.

Stephen Colbert, host of the soon to be discontinued Late Show, was recently interviewed by the New York Times and had the audacity to claim that he’s nonpartisan. It’s the funniest thing he has said in years.

Colbert has completely ruined the legacy of the Late Show by turning it into his own personal political soapbox that basically functions as a super PAC for the Democrat party. Almost all of his guests are Democrat politicians and he spends every night telling the country how much he hates President Trump.

It’s why the show is losing millions of dollars a year and why it is being taken off the air forever next month.

Colbert calls Trump ‘authoritarian’ but rejects ‘partisan’ label in exit interview with NY Times

As talk show host Stephen Colbert prepares to depart from his show, he condemned President Donald Trump during a Tuesday interview with The New York Times.

CBS announced in July that it had canceled “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” and that it would officially go off the air in May 2026. Liberal critics have accused CBS and Paramount of ending the show to appease Trump and receive approval for a long-planned merger between Paramount Global and Skydance Media.

Colbert spoke out about the saga in a New York Times interview headlined, “Stephen Colbert Gets Ready to Hang It Up.” When asked by the Times why the FCC and Trump administration are “focused” on him, Colbert argued this is simply authoritarians being authoritarians.

“Authoritarians don’t like anybody who doesn’t give them undue dignity. Comedians are anti-authoritarian by nature. And authoritarians are never going to like anybody to laugh at them,” he said. “The number of newspeople who have said to me or Jon Stewart or any of the guys who do this, ‘God, I wish I could say what you say on air.’ And we can.”

“I think that upsets them,” he added further. “I think it might be upsetting that we really do not live in their world of principalities and powers.”

It’s possible that Colbert is just trolling the public with these claims, as he is so obviously partisan, to a fault.

Few people will be sad to see him leave the airwaves. He is a smug, preachy, unfunny, bore. He took a show that used to be for the enjoyment of the whole country and turned it into something that mocked and belittled the half of the country that doesn’t vote the way he wants them to.

Maybe he can get a new ‘nonpartisan’ show on MSNOW. That’s where he really belongs, anyway.

Federal prosecutors will seize James Comey’s book sale profits after he was indicted on two felony counts on charges related to his Trump assassination Instagram post.

The Justice Department issued a forfeiture notice because prosecutors believe Comey posted the ’86 47′ Trump threat to help with sales of his forthcoming book, “Red Verdict.”

“Upon conviction, the defendant shall forfeit to the United States any property, real or personal, which constitutes or is derived from proceeds traceable to the said offense,” the indictment read.

Officials at the Food and Drug Administration were well aware of serious safety issues associated with COVID-19 shots in early 2021, yet they intentionally overlooked these concerns.

During a Senate hearing on April 29, at minute mark 17:14, a bombshell interim report was made public by Sen. Ron Johnson (R-Wisconsin), who serves as the Chairman of the Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations (PSI). The 39-page document is titled “Unmasked: How Biden Health Officials Purposely Turned a Blind Eye Toward COVID-19 Vaccine Signals.”

In the hearing, Sen. Johnson challenged listeners to “determine for yourself how the title is as accurate as it is incriminating.” He said the report includes “evidence of how federal health officials avoided creating a paper trail to prevent transparency and public disclosure in discussing how they’ve been warned of a major limitation of the FDA’s data mining system.” Because of this hearing, indisputable evidence has now emerged that FDA officials were concealing what they already knew.

Thanks to Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Secretary Robert F. Kennedy, Sen. Johnson said, “a clear picture of an obvious cover-up by federal health officials.”

The report indicates, “Documents produced by the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) to the Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations (PSI) show that beginning in early 2021, Dr. Ana Szarfman, who at the time was a senior medical officer and safety data mining developer at the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), used an updated data analysis technique that identified dozens of statistically significant safety signals for adverse events associated with the COVID-19 vaccines.”

She promptly communicated her findings to other FDA officials, including those tasked with monitoring COVID-19 shot safety, but her concerns were largely disregarded, and she was eventually—or conveniently—instructed to cease her data analyses.

Senior officials at the FDA were aware of statistically significant safety signals indicating an increased risk of adverse events. These included acute myocardial infarction associated with the Moderna and Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 shots, non-site-specific embolism and thrombosis related to Janssen (Johnson & Johnson) and Pfizer shots, dementia associated with the Pfizer shot, as well as instances of “Death and sudden death” associated with the Moderna and Pfizer shots.

Instead of alerting the public or pausing the distribution of the shots for further scrutiny, it seems that Biden’s health officials overlooked the statistically significant safety signals revealed by the new methodology and focused more on Dr. Szarfman’s efforts than on her concerning findings.

By May 2021, senior officials at the FDA’s Center for Biologics Evaluation and Research (CBER) instructed Dr. Szarfman to delay her data mining reports on COVID-19 shot safety due to concerns it could “create erroneous conflicts that feed into anti-vaccination rhetoric.”

Despite this directive, Dr. Szarfman persisted in advocating for her data mining method, claiming it was more effective at detecting safety signals—signals that should have been shared with the public.

For instance, even after there was an “unambiguous acknowledgment of the myopericarditis signal, Biden health officials continued to fail to immediately warn the public about the risks of cardiac events associated with the COVID-19 vaccines.” In another example, available resources clearly indicated “higher statistically significant safety signals for acute myocardial infarction.”

According to the report, “Records indicate that FDA did not make any adjustments to its data mining methodology as recommended by Dr. Szarfman.”

With Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt currently on maternity leave, Rubio stepped to the podium and quipped that he was there “to mess with someone and carry out a joke.”

The moment quickly went viral, as Rubio has become famous for stepping up and handling multiple high-level roles in the Trump White House at once.

It has become a long-running meme that whenever a position is vacant, Rubio will be the one to fill it.

Rubio has been memed as everyone from Rambo to the Easter Bunny.

Violence against Christians in Nigeria has continued without pause through the first four months of 2026. According to Intersociety, 1,402 Christians were killed and 1,800 abducted across the country in the first 96 days of the year, from January 1 through Easter Monday, April 6.

The killing accelerated through the religious calendar: attacks struck Christian communities in Benue and Plateau states in the days around Christmas 2025 and continued into the new year without pause, with the pace intensifying sharply through Lent.

The Holy Week alone claimed 102 Christian lives between March 28 and April 4, and 34 more were killed on Easter Sunday alone. Open Doors, in its 2026 World Watch List, reported that of 4,849 Christians killed globally for their faith between October 2024 and September 2025, 3,490 (72 percent) were Nigerians, an increase from 3,100 the prior year.

Intersociety further estimates that one in ten abducted Christians does not return alive, meaning the 1,800 abductions recorded through early April represent an additional death toll still unfolding.

The final week of April brought a new wave of attacks across multiple states. In Adamawa State, ISWAP attacked the Christian community of Kubako village on April 21, killing 12 Christians and burning a church. An Islamic State social media account described the attackers as “soldiers of the Caliphate” who raided the village, targeting Christians who had refused to convert to Islam or accept dhimmi status as subjugated people under Islamic rule.

The following day, April 22, armed militants stormed the Mayo-Ladde community in Hong Local Government Area, arriving on motorcycles, opening fire on residents, and operating for hours with little resistance, killing nine people. Local vigilantes and hunters who served as first-line defense were overpowered.

On April 26, ISWAP carried out its deadliest attack of the week, striking Sangere Mapindi community in Gombi Local Government Area of Adamawa State. Militants raided a football gathering, opened fire on residents, then pursued those fleeing into the village, burning homes, motorcycles, and a church. Witnesses cited by Nigerian broadcaster TVC News reported that 28 men and one woman were killed. Eyewitness Philip Agabus said residents had gathered at a football pitch when insurgents entered and began shooting at random.

The attack lasted several hours. ISWAP claimed responsibility through the SITE Intelligence Group, stating it had killed at least 25 Christians and torched a church and nearly 100 motorcycles. Adamawa Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri visited the site and confirmed at least 29 killed, describing the attack as “an affront to our humanity.” BBC Verify geolocated photos from Fintiri’s visit to Sangere Mapindi, approximately four kilometers southeast of Guyaku, where the attack was initially reported. Verified video footage showed burn damage inside the village church, including an overturned drum kit and abandoned keyboard, along with charred motorcycles outside the primary school.

The pastor of the targeted church appealed for security protection, and Fintiri’s spokesperson reported that many families had abandoned their homes out of fear of further attacks.

On the same day as the Guyaku attack, armed men raided an orphanage in north-central Nigeria and abducted 23 children. Authorities subsequently rescued 15, and the government said operations were ongoing to recover the remaining eight. No group claimed responsibility. The Nigerian government did not disclose the ages of the children, though the term used in the official statement, “pupils,” typically refers to primary school-age children up to age 12 in Nigerian usage.

Also on April 26, gunmen ambushed a vehicle carrying Christian schoolgirls traveling from Akwando village to Kachia town in Kachia Local Government Area of Kaduna State, according to International Christian Concern, citing field reporting by TruthNigeria. The attackers opened fire on the vehicle and abducted eight passengers, including six named students, Augustina Muntari, Happy Muntari, Favour Tanimu, Patience Joseph, Peace Irimiya, and Bishara Irimiya, along with the driver and one other passenger.

One student, Purity Babangida, was killed while attempting to escape. At least 15 other students fled into the bush and reached nearby communities after trekking for several hours. TruthNigeria documented at least seven separate attacks on the Akwando–Kachia road since January 2026, making the April 26 incident the first in that series to specifically target schoolchildren.

In Plateau State, coordinated overnight attacks across Bassa, Barkin Ladi, and Riyom local government areas on approximately April 19–20 killed at least eight Christians and injured ten others. In Kpasho, Kwall District, armed men ambushed four youth on a motorcycle, killing one at the scene and a second later in the hospital. Attackers then struck the Hurum Gashish NTV community in Barkin Ladi, killing four and wounding five. An International Community on Nigeria volunteer stated that security operatives present near the attack site “intentionally refused to intervene.”

Katsina State also saw multiple attacks during the same period. On April 26, bandits attacked Gurbi Village in Kankara Local Government Area, killing 11 people and injuring two before security forces arrived and the attackers fled. On April 28, heavily armed bandits invaded Unguwar Bido and Unguwar Kanawa villages in Dandume Local Government Area. Police engaged the attackers, repelled the assault, arrested one suspect, and two injured residents were taken to the hospital. Victims in the Katsina attacks have not been identified by religion in police statements.

In Zamfara State, residents of Bakkere village in Kaura Namoda Local Government Area repelled a bandit attack in the early hours of April 29 after community members detected suspicious movements and mobilized local youths and vigilante groups. Villagers from neighboring settlements moved to block escape routes, trapping the attackers and forcing their retreat through abandoned footpaths toward Jabanda village, an area locals identify as a transit route for criminal groups. No killings, abductions, or looting were recorded in Bakkere.

In a separate incident, the same day, suspected bandits raided Kucheri village in Tsafe Local Government Area, looting shops before security forces arrived and drove off the attackers. Mukhtar Yau Madobi, a research fellow at the Centre for Crisis Communication, described the Bakkere resistance as evidence that intelligence sharing, swift mobilization, and inter-community collaboration can complement formal security operations against armed groups.

The Nigerian government has disputed characterizations of the violence as a targeted campaign against Christians, citing data from the Armed Conflict Location and Event Data Project (ACLED), which recorded 1,923 attacks on civilians across Nigeria between January and November 2025, of which 50 were assessed as targeting victims specifically because of their Christian faith. However, ACLED’s methodology classifies an attack as religiously motivated only when perpetrators explicitly state a religious motive, in a claim of responsibility, a statement, or documented communications.

When ISWAP raiders burn a church, kill the congregation, and describe the victims as “Christian combatants” who refused to convert, that attack meets the threshold. But when Fulani militants attack a village that is entirely Christian, kill the residents, and burn the homes without issuing a statement, ACLED may record the event as banditry or communal violence rather than religious persecution.

Critics, including Intersociety, the United States Commission on International Religious Freedom, and various church organizations in Nigeria, argue that this coding methodology systematically undercounts faith-based targeting in contexts where perpetrators do not publicly declare their motives. President Donald Trump and other critics have argued that Nigerian authorities have failed to protect Christians from what they describe as genocide.

Kiev Regime’s rampant corruption is hitting the press.

Ever since July 2025, it is widely known that the apartment of Timur Mindich was wiretapped by Ukrainian anti-corruption agencies NABU and SAPO.

Mindich is a close friend of Kiev regime leader Volodymyr Zelensky, and they both co-own the Kvartal-95 studio.

Mindich is also a fugitive from Ukrainian justice, hiding out in Israel, accused by NABU and SAPO of masterminding a $100 million embezzlement and kickback scheme at the state nuclear energy company Energoatom.

The suspects in embezzlement include the former Minister of Energy and ex-Minister of Justice German Galushchenko, and the former all-powerful head of the Office of the President Andriy Yermak.

Besides the investigators and prosecutors, these recordings have also been provided to defense attorneys, and 10 volumes of materials were sent to Israel as a request for the extradition of Timur Mindich.

“Therefore, the number of persons to whom the investigation materials got seems to have become so large that the other day individual fragments began to ‘leak’ into the network. Moreover, this ‘leak’ occurred in order to discredit NABU and SAPO, which documented these fragments as part of the largest anti-corruption operation in the history of the country.”

The Kyiv Independent reported:

“The released tapes allegedly feature Mindich and then-Defense Minister Umerov, now secretary of Ukraine’s National Security and Defense Council and head of a Ukrainian delegation in the U.S.-Ukraine-Russia peace talks, discussing defense contracts, including drones and bulletproof vests, personnel changes, and the possible sale of the Fire Point defense company.”

Mindich is allegedly swaying the decisions of the then-defense minister.

The missile company (who made no missiles) Fire Point is the subject of a corruption probe, exploring its connections to Mindich.

“While Mindich had previously denied any involvement with the company, the now-revealed talks show him complaining to Umerov about Fire Point’s underfunding. The two were also reportedly discussing the sale of a 33% share in the company to foreign investors.

Umerov was allegedly asking Mindich on how to approach decisions tied to Fire Point, asking him whether ‘it will suit us?’ when discussing the sale.”

Mindich also mention ‘Vova’: ‘I spoke with Vova before Shabbat’.
