Eric Swalwell is DONE. Out of the California governor’s race in a stunning collapse. But that’s not enough. Not even close. I’m calling for his immediate expulsion from Congress.

Because the real story is just beginning.

A mysterious video. Swalwell. An alleged sex worker. And a shadowy man no one can identify… yet. Who is he? Why was he there? And why does no one in the media seem interested in asking the obvious questions?

We are.

The hunt is on and what we’re uncovering could blow this wide open.

And then there’s the Catholic Church. Once a pillar of moral clarity. Now? Three archbishops and the Pope attacking Donald Trump, condemning deportations, and weighing in on war with Iran. Since when did the Church abandon law, order, and common sense?

Colombian Officials Approve Culling of Dozens of Descendants From Pablo Escobar’s Cocaine Hippos Wreaking Havoc in the Country’s Rivers

Colombian drug kingpin Pablo Escobar left behind an ecological mess

Talk about a dangerous invasive species.

Today, Colombian officials agreed on a plan to cull dozens of hippos roaming freely through the country.

The huge African beasts occupy a fertile and humid region in the center of the country, and there they are a menace to villagers and are displacing the native species.

Associated Press reported:

“Environment Minister Irene Vélez said the decision was reached because other methods to control their population have been expensive and unsuccessful, including neutering some of the animals or moving them to zoos. Vélez said that up to 80 hippos would be affected by the measure. She did not say when the hunting would begin.

‘If we don’t do this, we will not be able to control the population’, Vélez said. ‘We have to take this action to preserve our ecosystems’.”

The Hippos are totally disrupting the ecosystem of Colombian rivers

Only in Colombia will you find a wild hippo population outside of Africa.

These fearsome beasts are the descendants of four animals from Pablo Escober’s private zoo in Hacienda Nápoles.

“A study published by Colombia’s National University estimated that around 170 hippos were roaming freely in the country in 2022.

Recently, hippos have been spotted in areas that are more than 100 kilometers (60 miles) north of the ranch, where Escobar initially introduced the water-dwelling pachyderms.”

The House Ethics Committee on Monday launched an investigation into Democrat Eric Swalwell amid allegations of sexual assault.

Via the House Ethics Committee:

Pursuant to Committee Rule 7, the Chairman and Ranking Member of the Committee on Ethics (Committee) determined to release the following statement:

The Committee, pursuant to Committee Rule 18(a), has begun an investigation and will gather additional information regarding the allegations that Representative Eric Swalwell violated the Code of Official Conduct or any law, rule, regulation, or other applicable standard of conduct in the performance of his duties or the discharge of his responsibilities, with respect to allegations that he may have engaged in sexual misconduct, including towards an employee working under his supervision.

The Committee notes that the mere fact that it is investigating these allegations, and publicly disclosing its review, does not itself indicate that any violation has occurred. No other public comment will be made on this matter except in accordance with Committee rules.

Eric Swalwell on Sunday evening dropped out of the California Governor’s race amid allegations of sexual assault.

Swalwell apologized to his family, staffers, and supporters and vowed to fight the “false allegations” against him.

Statement from Swalwell:

I am suspending my campaign for Governor.

To my family, staff, friends, and supporters, I am deeply sorry for mistakes in judgment I’ve made in my past.

I will fight the serious, false allegations that have been made — but that’s my fight, not a campaign’s.

The Manhattan District Attorney has also launched an investigation into Democrat Rep. Eric Swalwell over serious allegations of sexual assault.

The San Francisco Chronicle on Friday published a story about a woman who claimed that Democrat Eric Swalwell sexually assaulted her twice.

The woman, who worked as a staffer in Swalwell’s office for two years, told The San Francisco Chronicle that Swalwell began pursuing her just weeks after she was hired at the age of 21 in 2019.

After the San Francisco Chronicle dropped its bombshell report on Swalwell, three additional women spoke to CNN and provided evidence about alleged additional misconduct by the California Democrat.

The Swalwell staffer said she was sexually assaulted by Swalwell in 2019.

The staffer also said Swalwell raped her years later in 2024 after she left his employment.

Watch: Rep. Burchett Reveals Gov’t Giving $40 Million per Week to the Taliban and Dems Oppose Ending It

Rep. Tim Burchett (R-TN) did not mince words when he pulled back the curtain on where some American tax dollars are going this past week.

In an interview with radio host Jesse Kelly, the Tennessee Republican described a system that sounds less like foreign aid and more like a revolving door of wasted cash and fraud.

Burchett said billions are flowing through so-called non-government organizations and international bodies with little to no transparency.

He pointed directly to the United Nations and a sprawling network of NGOs as conduits for that money.

According to Burchett, the total is staggering and still growing, and the spending has the total support of Democrats in the Senate.

He cited a State Department memo estimating that more than $5 billion has been sent out.

Burchett’s most striking claim should evoke concern if not anger.

He said roughly $40 million per week is effectively making its way into Taliban-controlled territory.

That is American money, collected from working taxpayers, ending up in the hands of people who openly despise them and want them dead.

The congressman tied this issue to his own bill, the No Tax Dollars For Terrorists Act, which has been sitting dormant in the Senate for about a year.

It is a bill that should be a political no-brainer for Senate Republicans.

Stopping money from reaching terrorists should be anything but controversial, yet here we are.

Why would anyone object to stopping taxpayer dollars from reaching hostile regimes?

Burchett even pointed out that passing his simple bill would be an easy messaging win for Republicans, but that assumes Republicans are willing to act.

This is why the story becomes less about Democrats and more about the GOP.

Senate Republicans have had repeated opportunities to pass meaningful legislation, such as the SAVE Act, but refuse to do anything.

Why would we expect Senate Majority Leader John Thune to schedule a vote that stops funding Islamist fanatics?

To be fair, not every dollar sent to Afghanistan is probably landing in the hands of terrorists.

Some of it is likely filtered through aid programs and administrative layers and ultimately laundered back into the U.S to Democrats and their allies.

Maybe some of that cash is also benefiting Republicans who refuse to stop sending it.

What other explanation could there possibly be for not voting to pass this bill immediately?

Ceasefire Day 6: U.S. Blockades Strait of Hormuz

A two-week ceasefire in the Iran War entered its sixth day Monday as President Donald Trump moved to impose a U.S. naval blockade of the Strait of Hormuz after weekend peace talks in Islamabad failed to produce an agreement.

U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) said the blockade would take effect at 10 AM Eastern Time, covering the entirety of Iran’s coastline including ports and oil terminals. The order applies to vessels of all nations entering or departing Iranian ports, regardless of their origin.

China on Monday morning called for unobstructed navigation through the Strait of Hormuz, with Foreign Ministry spokesman Guo Jiakun saying it was in the “common interest of the international community” to keep the waterway secure and open.

Iran’s Speaker of Parliament Mohammad Ghalibaf mocked the blockade threat on Sunday, suggesting it would backfire on American consumers. “Enjoy the current pump figures,” he wrote on X. “With the so-called ‘blockade,’ soon you’ll be nostalgic for $4–$5 gas.” A spokesman for Iran’s Khatam al-Anbia Central Headquarters said Monday that Iran would implement a permanent system to control the Strait of Hormuz even after the war ends, and that vessels affiliated with Iran’s enemies would continue to be barred from crossing the waterway.

The price of Brent Crude, which had declined on hopes of a peace deal, rose to $100 per barrel on Monday while gas prices continued to rise. AAA reported the national average gas price at $4.13

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Monday said Vice President JD Vance called him from his plane returning from Islamabad to brief him on the collapse of the talks. Netanyahu said the administration is in contact with him daily.

“He called me from his plane on his way back from Islamabad. He reported to me in detail, as this administration does every day, about the development of the negotiations,” Netanyahu told a cabinet meeting. He said Vance made clear that Trump’s central demand was the removal of all enriched material from Iran and a halt to enrichment “for decades.”

“That is their focus, and of course it is also important to us,” Netanyahu said.

Israel continued its occupation and bombing of Lebanon on Monday, with the IDF saying it had surrounded the village of Bint Jbeil. Israeli strikes in Lebanon have killed at least 2,055 people since March 2, the country’s Health Ministry said. Israel’s military campaign in the country has been a sticking point in U.S.–Iranian peace talks, since Tehran insists the ceasefire should cover Lebanon.

Apple Maps faced a social media backlash over the weekend after users accused the company of removing towns and villages in southern Lebanon from its platform. Apple said the towns were never featured on the app and that its detailed mapping services had not yet launched in the region. Critics noted that Israeli cities and settlements near the Lebanese border appeared with full detail on the same platform while southern Lebanese towns did not.

Trump RESPONDS to Backlash After Posting a Christ-Like Image: “I Thought It Was Me as a Doctor”

A dramatic painting depicting a figure resembling Donald Trump healing a man in a hospital bed, surrounded by patriotic symbols and diverse onlookers.

President Donald Trump is once again taking heat from the media and even some allies after posting an AI-generated image that critics rushed to label “blasphemous.”

The controversy erupted after Trump shared an image on Truth Social depicting himself in flowing robes, appearing to heal a man, imagery that many in the media immediately framed as “Christ-like.”

The since-deleted image was shared on Orthodox Easter Sunday right after Trump torched the weak-on-crime, America-bashing Pope Leo XIV for criticizing U.S. and Israeli policy in Iran.

A symbolic painting depicting a figure resembling a leader performing a healing gesture over a sick man, with an American flag backdrop and various patriotic elements.

Riley Gaines, a vocal supporter of Trump wrote on X:

“Why? Seriously, I cannot understand why he’d post this. Is he looking for a response? Does he actually think this? Either way, two things are true. 1) a little humility would serve him well 2) God shall not be mocked”

When asked by reporters about the post and the backlash, Trump responded:

Reporter:
Mr. President, did you post that picture of yourself depicted as Jesus Christ?

Trump:
Well, it wasn’t depicted—it was me. I did post it, and I thought it was me as a doctor and had to do with the Red Cross, as a Red Cross worker there, which we support. And only the fake news could come up with that one. So I had—I just heard about it, and I said, “How did they come up with that?” It’s supposed to be me as a doctor making people better. And I do make people better—I make people a lot better.

Hungary REJECTS Orbán: Former Insider Wins Historic Upset Election

Hungarian voters delivered a stunning rebuke to Prime Minister Viktor Orbán on Sunday, ending his 16-year grip on power in a watershed election that reverberates across global conservative movements. The defeat marks a rare setback for nationalist populism and sends shockwaves through allied leaders from Moscow to Washington.

Historic Defeat Stuns European Politics

Péter Magyar, a former Orbán insider turned opposition challenger, claimed victory with over 53 percent support as voters rejected the prime minister’s increasingly authoritarian policies. With 93 percent of votes counted, Magyar’s Tisza party secured 94 of Hungary’s 106 voting districts. Orbán conceded quickly, telling supporters the result was “painful” and pledging to serve the nation from opposition—a role he has not occupied since 2010.

The election outcome caught political observers by surprise, particularly after U.S. Vice President JD Vance visited Budapest just days earlier in an apparent effort to bolster Orbán’s campaign. Magyar ran on bread-and-butter issues like healthcare and public transit while promising to repair Hungary’s fractured relationships with the European Union and NATO. His message resonated with voters weary of corruption and Hungary’s international isolation under Orbán’s leadership.

Global Implications for Conservative Movements

Orbán’s defeat carries profound consequences beyond Hungary’s borders. The prime minister cultivated close ties with both former President Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin, positioning himself as a champion of traditional values against what he called liberal Western overreach. His government frequently blocked EU decisions and used state power to silence critics, making Hungary a test case for how far nationalist populism could push democratic boundaries.

European leaders quickly congratulated Magyar, with many viewing the result as validation that voters ultimately reject authoritarian governance. Tens of thousands celebrated along the Danube River in Budapest as Magyar declared that “truth prevailed over lies.” Whether his Tisza party secures the two-thirds parliamentary majority needed for major legislative changes remains unclear, but the shift in power already signals Hungary’s potential return to the European mainstream after years of confrontation with Brussels.

What Comes Next for Hungary

Magyar’s victory sets up a dramatic transformation in Hungarian politics. His pledge to rebuild relationships with Western allies suggests Hungary may stop blocking EU initiatives on issues ranging from Ukraine support to rule-of-law reforms. For conservative movements worldwide that viewed Orbán as a model, the election serves as a cautionary tale about the limits of using state power to advance cultural and political agendas. The new government faces significant challenges, including healing domestic divisions and restoring Hungary’s damaged international reputation while addressing the everyday concerns that ultimately decided this historic election.
