The Trump Department of Justice has filed a federal lawsuit against Cloudera Inc., a major Silicon Valley tech company, for deliberately discriminating against qualified American workers in favor of foreign visa holders for high-paying tech positions.

The Civil Rights Division’s lawsuit accuses Cloudera of violating the Immigration and Nationality Act by creating a sham, separate hiring process designed to deter and exclude American citizens while fast-tracking foreign workers on temporary visas.

“Employers cannot use the PERM sponsorship process as a backdoor for discriminating against U.S. workers,” Assistant Attorney General Harmeet K. Dhillon of the Justice Department’s Civil Rights Division said. “The Division will not hesitate to sue companies who intentionally deter U.S. workers from applying to American jobs.”

According to the DOJ, Cloudera set up a dedicated email address for job applications that was deliberately configured not to accept emails from outside the company.

American workers who followed the company’s posted instructions received automatic bounce-back messages stating that their applications could not be processed.

The DOJ said in a press release:

The complaint alleges Cloudera intentionally created a separate recruitment and hiring process to deter U.S. workers from applying, and also did not consider them, for lucrative technology jobs that the company earmarked for people with temporary employment visas. Cloudera created an email account that did not allow external emails, but still instructed applicants to use that unworkable email address to apply for jobs. The Division received a charge of employment discrimination from one U.S. worker who tried to apply using the email account Cloudera set up, but received a bounce back notification. When sponsoring current employees under the permanent labor certification program (PERM), Cloudera purposely failed to recruit U.S. workers in good faith.

At the same time, Cloudera was actively sponsoring foreign workers for permanent residency through the Department of Labor’s PERM program, a process that legally requires employers to make a genuine good-faith effort to recruit and hire qualified American workers first.

The complaint states:

America’s civil rights and labor laws are clear: if you want to sponsor people with temporary visas for permanent residency, you cannot discriminate against U.S. workers. In fact, employers must sign under penalty of perjury that the job opening “does not involve unlawful discrimination by race, creed, color, national origin, age, sex, religion, handicap, or citizenship.” 20 C.F.R. § 656.10(c)(5) (emphasis added). These protections are to ensure that U.S. workers are given a fair opportunity to compete for jobs because nonimmigrant visa programs have “been deliberately exploited to replace, rather than supplement, American workers with lower-paid, lower-skilled labor.”

The DOJ is seeking a court order that would stop the illegal hiring practices, fine the company for each victim, require the company to pay lost wages to American workers who were shut out, and allow for any other corrective measures the judge finds appropriate.

This action is part of the Trump administration’s Protecting U.S. Workers Initiative, which targets companies that illegally favor temporary visa workers over American citizens. Since its relaunch, the initiative has already produced ten settlements.

In 2017, Cloudera was one of 97 major companies that filed an amicus brief in federal court opposing President Trump’s temporary travel ban on refugees and visa holders from certain countries.

As The Gateway Pundit reported at the time, Cloudera joined other Big Tech firms in claiming the policy harmed their business interests and ability to hire foreign talent.

It turns out, the company was rigging its own hiring system against American workers to benefit the very foreign visa programs it was fighting to protect.

The U.S. weighed options to address the possibility of a prolonged closure of the Strait of Hormuz as the Iran War ceasefire entered its 22nd day Wednesday.

NBC reported Wednesday, citing an anonymous U.S. official, that the White House discussed options during Monday’s meeting in the Situation Room. Deliberations included whether the U.S. military presence in the strait should increase or decrease, and whether the U.S. should launch renewed operations there.

President Donald Trump posted on Truth Social Wednesday morning that Iran “can’t get their act together,” adding that “they better get smart soon!”

Trump reportedly met with oil executives at the White House on Tuesday to discuss the potential for a prolonged closure of the Strait of Hormuz. According to Axios, White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles, ​Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent, and ‌U.S. envoys ⁠Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner were also present. The White House confirmed the event to Fox News Wednesday morning and said that topics discussed included domestic production, Venezuela, oil futures, natural gas, and shipping.

Shipping tracking data posted to X by an analyst for the trade intelligence platform Kpler show there has been no improvement in Hormuz flows since the ceasefire took effect.

Iran has set the U.S. lifting its naval blockade as a condition for opening the Strait of Hormuz.

The price of Brent crude oil rose to $117 on Wednesday morning while gas prices continued to climb. AAA reported the national average price of gas at $4.23.

In a post on Truth Social Tuesday directed at Germany’s Chancellor Friedrich Merz, Trump said that Merz “thinks it’s OK for Iran to have a Nuclear Weapon,”  adding “no wonder Germany is doing so poorly, both Economically, and otherwise!” His post comes after Merz said on Monday that the U.S. is being “humiliated” by Iranian leaders.

An Israeli double-tap strike on a building in southern Lebanon killed five people Tuesday, including three Lebanese Civil Defense rescue workers who had responded to the first strike, Lebanese officials said. The country’s prime minister called the attack a “war crime.”

The IDF said that Hezbollah fired two rockets at Israel on Wednesday.

Since March 2, more than 2,500 people have been killed in Lebanon, according to the Lebanese Health Ministry. Over that same period of time, two civilians have been killed by Hezbollah attacks in Israel, while 16 Israeli soldiers and one Israeli civilian have been killed in Lebanon, Israeli authorities say.

The New York Post reported:

“Jessica Mann, now 40, hysterically broke down on the witness stand when she recounted in court for the third time how the grotesque, then-300-pound Weinstein pinned her down on a bed before allegedly raping her inside the Doubletree Hotel in Midtown on March 18, 2013.

‘I said, ‘No’ over and over, and I tried to leave’, Mann said through sobs, shortly before showing jurors how Weinstein allegedly pinned both of her wrists above her head during the sex attack.”

Mann said that the mogul ‘treated her like he owned her’.

“Mann said Weinstein also raped her later that year — and that she passed out during the assault because he was ‘so heavy’.

The jailed mogul, who sat in a crinkled suit in a wheelchair, was originally convicted of raping Mann in 2020, but the state’s high court later over turned the verdict, paving the way for a second trial that then ended with a hung jury.”

King Charles III of the United Kingdom addressed a joint session of Congress on Tuesday evening, the first such speech from a British monarch in more than 30 years and only the second ever. In his speech, Charles paid tribute to the historic relationship between the U.S. and the UK. He also discussed contemporary issues, defending the importance of NATO and affirming support for Ukraine.

Listing similarities between the principles of the Magna Carta, the Enlightenment, and America’s founding documents, Charles observed that the principle of checks and balances had its “foundation” in British law.

At a white-tie state dinner later that day, President Donald Trump toasted the “eternal bond” between the two countries and said that Charles shares his view that Iran must never develop a nuclear weapon. “Charles agrees with me even more than I do,” Trump said.

The speech comes after the publication on Tuesday of leaked remarks from Britain’s ambassador to Washington, Christian Turner, who this February told a group of students that America’s only special relationship is “probably Israel,” not the United Kingdom.

Yet another teacher has been exposed, this time for complaining that the would-be assassins of late are not good enough.

The Gateway Pundit reported,

A social studies teacher at Kaukauna High School has been caught openly lamenting that the latest deranged assassin didn’t manage to take out President Donald Trump.

Patrick Meyer, identified as the taxpayer-funded educator pushing his anti-Trump venom on social media, posted a now-deleted rant on X following the shooting at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner.

According to screenshots shared by Libs of Tiktok, Meyer wrote: “I am not impressed with recent presidential assassins. It’s f-king embarrassing. Booth, Guiteau, Czolgosz, Oswald must all be spinning in their graves! MAGAA (make Americans great assassins again)! Sad!”

The Kaukauna Area School District issued a statement confirming Meyer has been placed on administrative leave while they “review the matter in accordance with its policies and procedures.”

Actress and singer Bette Midler has released a full music video for her updated version of Woody Guthrie’s classic protest song ‘All You Fascists Bound to Lose,’ now redone as a direct, vulgar attack on Trump and his administration.

The video, which debuted in late March and gained renewed attention this week, features footage from the anti-Trump “No Kings” rallies from March.

It also stars Midler’s longtime friend and Beaches co-star Barbara Hershey, along with other celebrities, including Broadway stars Shoshana Bean, David Hyde Pierce, Jenifer Lewis, and others.

In the intro, Midler declares, “You know I’ve been around a long time, but I’ve never lived through what we are living through now. The great Woody Guthrie wrote this song many years ago. I changed some of the words to fit our times, and I hope you’ll sing it when you are making signs, planning protests, and marching. Because sometimes people, sometimes you just gotta SING OUT!”

The changed lyrics include:

“Hey there, all you fascists, let me put you straight. When you come for the rest of us, we’ll fight you at the gate… We’ll battle ICE together, until they cut and run, just like in Minneapolis. And when the midterms come… you’re bound to lose.”

“To hell with all the cowards who hide behind their masks. We’re gonna win the midterms. We’re coming for his ass! He knows it too, that bastard’s bound to lose.”

“Trying to distract us from the Epstein files. You gas and beat and murder us, protecting pedophiles. Let’s turn the screws. You pervs are bound to lose.”

“America, get ready, midterms are at hand. We got to stick together, folks, and vote to save this land. It’s time to choose, those fascists bound to lose.”

The rallies featured in the video largely targeted Trump’s immigration enforcement.

Cole Allen, the man who attempted to assassinate Trump administration officials at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner, reportedly attended at least one of the protests.

This is far from Midler’s first public swipe at Trump. Some may argue that she is full-blown obsessed with him.

In 2024, Midler posted a meme implying she would drink Drano if Trump won the election. She deleted her X account shortly after.

America is in the midst of a life-or-death national security emergency. The time to act is now.

Democrats not only stole the 2020 election- with the help of China, the CCP, Venezuela and Iran (not to mention the perfectly timed Covid pandemic)- but they have also stolen dozens of Senate and House seats.

All this blatant theft and voter fraud has changed the direction of America, the U.S. economy and the fate of the great American middle class.

We face 3 existential threats that could end America, American exceptionalism and capitalism because of all this voter fraud, that has led to all these stolen elections- 1) wokeism, 2) communism and 3) radical Islam.

That’s the Democrat “Axis of Evil.”

Now Democrats are salivating at the thought of their coming midterm victory- which will for all intents and purposes, ends the Trump presidency.

If Democrats manage to steal another national election, Trump will face nonstop impeachments. The President will be unable to pass any of his agenda.

And we will all be facing permanent voter fraud, leading to permanent stolen elections, leading to a one-party Socialist welfare state.

And let me wake everyone up- there is no other cavalry coming. The Senate will NOT end, or even temporarily suspend the filibuster. Therefore, the Senate will NOT pass the SAVE America Act. Face the truth- our GOP Senate is either useless, or bribed, but either way, it’s not happening.

It’s time to pull out the “National Emergency” card!

President Trump in April 2025 was prepared to declare a “National Security Emergency for US Elections.” This National Security Declaration was primarily based on the fact that FBI Director Kash Patel had just found out that China and the CCP interfered in the 2020 presidential election.

Along with that “National Security Emergency Declaration” was a 17-page Executive Order that addressed everything from Voter ID, voter registration, and limiting voting through the mail going back to the old-style Absentee Ballot (where the only people voting through the mail were overseas military, elderly, disabled, etc.).

President Trump never released the “National Security Emergency Declaration” and EO on elections. People close to the President say he was talked out of it because he was assured that the Save America Act was the cure to the rigged elections, and it was soon to pass. Any day now. And I promise “my check is in the mail.”

It’s time to stop dreaming. It’s time to stop being delusional. The SAVE Act is never passing. The cavalry is not coming- at least not from this cowardly and bribed Republican US Senate.

But the “National Emergency Declaration” is the cavalry.

In 1976, Congress passed the National Emergency Act (NEA), which gave Congress the power to revoke a Presidential National Security Emergency with just a simple majority.

However, in the early 1980s, President Reagan challenged that bill, with Reagan arguing that Congress should not have authority to take down something as serious as a NATIONAL SECURITY EMERGENCY.

In 1983, The Supreme Court ruled that the only way Congress can undo a President’s National Security Emergency is by…

1) BOTH CHAMBERS OF CONGRESS must produce a 2/3rds majority.

2) Congress has six months from the time the National Security Emergency is signed to achieve the 2/3 majority in both the House and the Senate.

President Trump could declare a National Security Emergency on Elections TODAY based on the emergency being millions of illegal aliens/non-citizens are illegally voting in and changing the outcome of US elections.

Article 15 in the U.S. Constitution says, “American citizens must be afforded the right to vote.” But it doesn’t give the green light to illegal aliens/non-citizens voting.

Article 6 in the Constitution says, “The Constitution is the supreme law of the land and must be followed by government, judges, and citizens.”

By declaring a National Security Emergency for Elections based on illegal aliens/non-citizens voting by the millions, it’s easy to prove there is a national emergency.

California is very public with their Motor Voter program- where illegal aliens receive IDs and voting rights. That’s exactly why California has over 30 million mail-in ballots per election.

In my adopted home state of Nevada, it’s even worse. Not only you can vote in person with no ID in Nevada, but every illegal alien can legally get a driver’s license at DMV, whereupon they are automatically registered to vote- whether they want to, or not. Then the state mails out ballots to every voter in the state- whether they ask for it, or not. Which means every illegal alien is not only legally registered to vote, but can do it from home, without ever showing up to vote.

Nevada is encouraging massive voter fraud.

President Trump can declare a National Security Emergency for Elections along with an EO stopping illegals from voting. Our elections are not honest and secure, and illegal aliens make up millions and millions of the fraudulent votes.

Concerning the voting machines, in 2018, the Supreme Court codified Executive Order 23848 which gives the President of the United States the right to interject in elections if there is proof of foreign interference. We know that many voting machines around the country have had wireless devices placed inside of them, including 36 voting machines in Mesa County Colorado, “aka Tina Peters territory.”

That’s why crooked Colorado Democrat politicians and judges conspired to convict Tina of a non-crime, and put her away for 9 years in prison, at the age of 70.

Democrat politicians and judges want Tina to die in prison because she knows exactly how Democrats are hacking the machines to steal elections.

Surely the Democrats will try to challenge Trump’s “National Emergency Declaration,” as they always do. But they can’t. It cannot be undone in the courts. It can only be undone IF DEMOCRATS CAN PRODUCE A 2/3rds MAJORITY IN BOTH CHAMBERS WITHIN SIX MONTHS.

First, Democrats can’t do it. They don’t have 2/3rds. Not even close. They lose- period. Trump wins. America wins.

Secondly, six months from today brings us to the last days of October- before the midterms. The way this works is, Trump’s “National Emergency Declaration” is in effect from the day he signs it.

Democrats have until the last days of October to reverse it with a 2/3rds vote in both chambers of Congress. But it’s in effect all that time. Once that six-months deadline passes, it’s officially over. And we all know they don’t have the votes to overturn it.

So, it applies to stop Democrats from cheating, rigging and stealing the midterms- from the day President Trump signs it, until after the deadline passes, and then it’s in place FOREVER!

And no court can get involved- thereby neutering the communist insurrection judges.

It is my opinion that this is the only path remaining to save the midterms from another stolen election by Democrats.

This is the only way to avoid endless court challenges and appeals, which would likely not get to the Supreme Court before the midterms anyway.

President Trump must release a comprehensive EO on Election Integrity, simultaneously while declaring a “National Security Emergency for Elections” based on millions of illegal aliens/non-citizens continuing to vote in United States Elections.

This makes it “court proof” and “Congress proof.”

We get honest elections, we win the midterms, and then we institute even more and stricter election reforms, and then without voter fraud, and without millions of illegal aliens voting, and without China and the CCP interfering…

We never lose again.

“Everyone loves a winner.” This is the solution to make winners of President Trump, the GOP and America!

Checkmate.

A newly surfaced hot-mic clip shows Fox News host Jimmy Failla mocking security at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner roughly an hour before a gunman breached a hotel checkpoint during the event attended by President Donald Trump.

In the livestreamed red-carpet segment, Failla quipped that it “looks like they have like two random chicks holding the front door open,” adding that “they’re not even Secret Service people” as he described staffers guarding the entrance to the Washington Hilton.

He went on to joke that organizers “might as well put a door stop in” and even “a scarecrow” at the door, remarks that social media users later recirculated as evidence of obvious security lapses.

After shots were fired when suspect Cole Tomas Allen allegedly rushed past a Secret Service checkpoint with a shotgun, handgun and knives, Failla told Fox’s Trace Gallagher that he had “just left the red carpet” and initially believed he was witnessing “an attack on President Trump” as agents sprinted toward the stage.

Allen, a 31-year-old California man now charged with attempting to assassinate Trump and multiple federal gun crimes, was subdued near the screening area outside the ballroom, with one officer struck but protected by a bullet-resistant vest.

The incident has intensified scrutiny of both hotel security and the wider climate of political violence, with law enforcement officials still “probing” Allen’s motives but noting writings expressing anger toward government officials, as millions still question the event entirely.

On British channel Talk (formerly TalkTV), journalist and former politician Alex Phillips delivered an emotional monologue warning viewers to avoid events “if Democrats will be present because you might get killed,” calling the dinner attack the third attempt on Trump’s life.

Arguing that rhetoric about the “far-right” being dangerous is belied by events, Phillips claimed that “yet again bullets [were] flying through the air at an American event aimed towards somebody on the right wing” and that there is “only one side of politics that is posing the imminent threat to life.”

She accused what she called a “lunatic left wing” of normalizing calls to “stamp on the necks of the fascists” and said radicalized teachers’ unions, coastal states such as California and online activist networks had allowed “radical communism” to seep into key institutions.

Concluding that “this scourge of left-wing pestilence” — including “lunacy, name-calling, violent rhetoric, protests, lies, fake news, [and] violence” — must be confronted, Phillips urged that “it’s got to stop today.”

Liberal TV network ABC has ignited volcanic backlash by refusing to fire “comedian” Jimmy Kimmel, who is continuing to recklessly incite violence against conservatives.

In refusing to curb Kimmel’s dangerous rhetoric, ABC made clear not only its toxic left-wing bias, but also its disregard for public safety and national security.

The brouhaha erupted on April 23, when Kimmel flippantly joked about the multiple assassination attempts on President Donald Trump by referring to first lady Melania Trump as an “expectant widow.”

Kimmel made the inane comments while performing a mock White House Correspondents’ Dinner skit on his late-night talk show.

During the sketch, the left-wing foghorn pretended to be speaking to attendees.

“Our first lady Melania is here… so beautiful,” Kimmel said. “Mrs. Trump, you have a glow like an expectant widow.”

This jab ignited renewed criticism when another presidential assassination attempt occurred two days later at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner in Washington, D.C.

On Monday, the first lady urged ABC to finally take a stand against political violence by ousting Kimmel.

“Kimmel’s hateful and violent rhetoric is intended to divide our country,” she wrote on X.

“People like Kimmel shouldn’t have the opportunity to enter our homes each evening to spread hate.”

“Enough is enough. It is time for ABC to take a stand,” Melania said.

The president — and countless other Americans — joined Melania in urging ABC to axe Kimmel after his latest scandal.

As of Tuesday morning, ABC still has not responded to the growing public demands for Kimmel’s firing — effectively flipping off millions of Americans who put the Trumps in the White House for a second time.

Under normal circumstances, conservatives oppose censoring their political opponents. However, this is not Kimmel’s first time downplaying or inciting violence against conservatives.

In September 2025, Kimmel was yanked off the air after he trivialized, and lied about, Charlie Kirk’s tragic assassination by a leftist lunatic.

In October 2023, Kimmel roasted House Majority Leader Steve Scalise for supporting the Second Amendment by joking about the time he was shot at a 2017 mass shooting that targeted Republicans.

Like other political assassination attempts in recent years, a left-wing lunatic was the perpetrator in that instance.

The public is used to liberal entertainers and politicians downplaying or excusing the nonstop stream of left-wing violence, including the Black Lives Matter riots, and the countless assaults and death threats against conservatives.

To underscore how desensitized the establishment media outlets have made violence against conservatives, imagine the outrage if there had been three assassination attempts on Barack Obama when he was president.

Imagine the nonstop leftist screeching if multiple liberal activists or influencers had been punched, shot at, or killed at public events in the same way that conservatives have been targeted for years.

And if the shooter on Saturday night had been a conservative white male, the media would be hyperventilating nonstop about the imaginary threat of “white supremacy” and “toxic masculinity.”

By continuing their blatant double standard, Democrats and their corporate media puppets are emboldening more assassination attempts against Trump and other conservatives.

In so doing, they’re endangering the lives of all Americans — any of whom could easily be caught in the crossfire.

Federal workers missed paychecks for over 60 days. Congress missed none.

TSA officers screened 3 million passengers a day this spring. They did it without paychecks. Some sold plasma to pay their bills. Others slept in their cars. Some just quit. Sixty days into the longest partial shutdown in American history, Congress returned from its two-week recess and still has not fixed it.

The Senate did try – passing a funding bill by unanimous consent before recess even began. The House went home anyway. Congress eventually returned, and DHS is now recalling furloughed workers on redirected funds that have no congressional appropriation behind them. The executive branch is essentially running a federal agency on financial improvisation because the legislative branch will not do its job. If that does not alarm you, it should.

This is not a partisan problem. A November NBC News poll found that 52% of voters blamed Trump and congressional Republicans for the 2025 shutdown, while 42% blamed congressional Democrats – the highest share of Democratic blame in NBC polling in over 30 years. Both sides have blocked proposals. Both sides have pointed fingers. Both sides have taken a recess while government employees were working without pay. This is a modern Congress problem, and the pattern predates any single party or president.

To understand why it keeps happening, consider how rare it once was. Between 1995 and 2013, the government did not shut down once. An 18-year stretch of Congress doing the bare minimum. Then came the 16-day shutdown in 2013, the 35-day shutdown in 2018 to 2019, the 43-day shutdown in the fall of 2025, and now this. Each one was treated as an extraordinary crisis. Each one became a template for the next. What was once a last resort is now a governing strategy, and a remarkably consequence-free one at that.

The Congressional Budget Office estimated the 2018 to 2019 shutdown shaved 11 billion dollars off the GDP, 3 billion of which was never recovered. The 2013 shutdown cost taxpayers an estimated $2.5 billion dollars in pay for work that never got done. Shutdowns do not save money – they burn it. The bill lands on everyone except the people who caused it: Congress.

That’s the real problem. Article I of the Constitution gives Congress one unambiguous duty: fund the government. Not negotiate forever. Not leverage essential workers as bargaining chips. Fund it. Yet only about 4% of Americans express great confidence in how Congress is being run. Despite the lack of results and confidence, incumbents keep winning reelection, and not a single institutional mechanism exists to track whether Congress performed its most fundamental obligation. We measure GDP, unemployment, and even judicial efficiency. We do not measure whether the people in charge of keeping the lights on actually did. We should. And we should make it public. Only then will accountability follow.

This is why shutdowns continue to happen and are increasing in duration and frequency. The system charges lawmakers nothing for failure. Two changes would fix that immediately. First, automatically delay congressional pay the moment a shutdown begins; members would then collect back pay only once a budget is signed. Next, implement a standing rule in each chamber requiring the session to continue until funding is restored – no new bureaucracy or constitutional amendment required, just a simple rule that says if government workers don’t get paid, then neither does Congress. No one goes home until it’s fixed.

The TSA officer who screened your bags without a paycheck deserved better. So did the Coast Guard servicemember, the FEMA staffer, and the cybersecurity analyst who kept working anyway. They held up their end of the deal. It’s past time Congress held up theirs.
