There has been a lot of talk about Spencer Pratt’s AI campaign ads. They’re technically not even from his campaign, they’re being made by supporters, but they’re so well done that they get a lot of attention.

The newest one is very funny.

In the ad, a mother arrives at a hospital with her daughter who she claims is sick. You soon discover that the ‘sickness’ she is suffering from is that she has realized that Spencer Pratt is the most logical choice for mayor of Los Angeles.

The doctor consults with the mother about the daughter’s media consumption habits and hilarity ensues.

Less than a month ago, Pratt seemed like a total longshot. Very few people had ever even heard of him.

Now he is a viral sensation and he is surging in polls. Some celebrities are even getting on board, not that it should make a difference, but it’s remarkable.

All you need to know about Pratt’s success is that Jimmy Kimmel is now attacking him on his unfunny show. That proves that word has gone out. The left is definitely nervous, and they should be.

Last night, when Spencer Pratt was on the Gutfeld! show, he made it clear that he doesn’t really care about celebrity endorsements.

Karen Bass on the other hand, is looking for every left wing celebrity endorsement she can get, and she just received one from Jane Fonda.

Liberal Hollywood boomers like Fonda will never change. There could be a mushroom cloud over the city of Los Angeles and Jane Fonda would still defend the Democrat, whether it was Karen Bass or someone else.

The statement continued, “At a time when Donald Trump is attacking our city, our immigrant neighbors, and the freedoms generations of women fought to win, Angelenos need leaders willing to stand up and speak out. Jane has never been afraid to do either, and I’m proud to have her in this fight with us.”

Fox News Digital later confirmed the statement from the mayor’s office.

Fonda previously endorsed Bass and donated to her original mayoral campaign in 2022 against Rick Caruso.

However, Fonda also supported Bass’ current primary opponent Nithya Raman in her campaign for city council member in 2024. Fonda was present at Raman’s swearing-in ceremony.

The response she got from Kennedy of FOX News was nuclear. Kennedy wrote on Twitter/X:

Disney’s newest Star Wars movie, ‘The Mandalorian and Grogu’ just opened in theaters. It cost millions upon millions to make the film and it is absolutely getting its butt kicked by a small, independent horror movie called ‘Obsession’ which was made for a paltry $750,000.

Of course, $750K is a lot of money, but not by the standards of a Hollywood movie. That’s chump change.

Even so, people are flocking to theaters to see ‘Obsession’ instead of Disney’s newest expensive flick.

Star Wars fans have just been burned too many times. Disney basically broke the franchise by using it to push DEI and other woke concepts.

A low-budget horror flick is defying gravity at the box office while the latest big-budget “Star Wars” movie had a rough launch compared to its predecessors.

Focus Features’ “Obsession” was made with a microbudget of under $1 million. Initial projections showed it making less than $10 million in its opening weekend. It ended up making over $17 million.

This past weekend, it made roughly $24 million — $30 million when including Memorial Day — a whopping 30% increase from its opening weekend, outpacing much bigger films like “The Devil Wears Prada 2” and the Michael Jackson biopic “Michael.” It even outgrossed “The Mandalorian and Grogu” on Wednesday.

Such a bump for a film in its second weekend is nearly unheard of. It has already grossed over $70 million worldwide and is now projected to make more than $100 million during its theatrical run, making it one of the most profitable films of the year.

What’s remarkable about the success of “Obsession” is that it proves that Hollywood star power isn’t always needed to get butts in seats. The director is a 26-year-old content creator named Curry Barker, who is part of the sketch comedy duo “That’s a Bad Idea,” which has over 1 million followers on YouTube and TikTok. Jason Blum, creator of BlumHouse Productions and producer of horror hits like “Get Out,” “Paranormal Activity” and “M3GAN,” only boarded “Obsession” as an executive producer after the film debuted at the Toronto International Film Festival last year.

John Nolte of Breitbart News is a longtime critic of Disney. Here’s what he had to say about this:

To be fair, because I don’t want to take anything away from Obsession, that movie is a legitimate phenomenon, the rarest of rarities where word-of-mouth is driving it to increase its box office over time, and is doing so after launching wide. This has only happened a handful of times in the 50-year-old history of wide releases. Obsession is making box office history, and that accomplishment deserves to be recognized and not plowed under as we gloat over the failure of the groomers at Disney.

Nevertheless, Obsession’s astonishing success is its own thing, as is The Mandalorian and Grogu’s deeply satisfying failure.

If the man-hating bigots at Disney hadn’t alienated, insulted, and dismissed Star Wars fans, the piece you are reading right now could’ve been about how both movies are breaking the bank.

Disney just burned too many bridges with movie audiences. They’re reaping what they’ve sown.

Given the massive amount of fraud that has been uncovered at Somali daycare centers in Minneapolis alone, you would think that every American city would be looking into this rather seriously.

That is not going to happen in Seattle, however.

Katie Wilson, the city’s new socialist mayor was recently asked if she is doing any investigation into this and responded with a simple “no.”

Seattle Mayor Katie Wilson said the city has no intention of investigating fraud claims in taxpayer-funded social programs, claiming the concerns are an effort to target immigrant communities rather than address legitimate financial irregularities.

In an interview with KOMO News, Wilson was asked if she had authorized the Seattle Police Department or the city’s Office of Immigrant and Refugee Affairs to investigate fraud charges involving daycare providers, particularly those in Somali and other immigrant communities. The mayor responded: “No.”

“This whole issue is not really about fraud,” said Wilson. “It’s about dividing and conquering. It’s about making an immigrant community a target. There’s no reason to assume based on the identity of a daycare operator that their small business is doing anything wrong.”

She added that “it’s problematic to have random people showing up to daycares” and emphasized that “the fear in the Somali community is real” and “the fear in immigrant communities are real,” saying her administration is “taking that very seriously.”

The bus driver who caused a fatal crash in Virginia is a naturalized US citizen from China and doesn’t speak English.

Five people were killed, including two children, and more than 40 were injured in a bus crash on I-95 early Friday morning.

Multiple vehicles were involved in the crash after the bus driver failed to slow down in time and crashed into a Suburban.

The Suburban got pushed into an Acura SUV.

“The Acura caught fire, police said. Four of the five people killed were in the Acura: a 45-year-old man, a 44-year-old woman, a 13-year-old girl and a 7-year-old boy, all from Greenfield, Massachusetts, police said,” ABC News reported.

“The fifth victim killed, a 25-year-old woman, was in the Suburban, police said,” the outlet reported.

“Forty-four people were taken to hospitals, including three with critical injuries, police said,” ABC reported.

According to Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy, the driver of the bus doesn’t even speak English.

The driver obtained his CDL in Democrat-run New York in 2024.

If you can’t be properly trained, read our road signs, or communicate with law enforcement, you have no business driving a bus.

Our investigators are reviewing New York licensing records, training documentation, and the driver’s history. Any company, trainer, or school that contributed to putting an unqualified driver on the road will face intense scrutiny.

Democratic Gov. Gavin Newsom of California continues to light his constituents’ tax dollars on fire.

Moreover, he has done it in the name of cultural pandering and with dubious constitutionality.

According to the urban policy-focused City Journal, the state’s “Tribal Wildfire Resilience” program, overseen by the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection, or CAL FIRE, has distributed $24 million to “tribal groups and other nonprofits” to teach American Indians, identified as “cultural fire practitioners,” how to clear brush from forests in ways their ancestors would have found familiar.

Meanwhile, taxpayers have seen no appreciable return on that expenditure. How much brush have the tribes cleared? California has released no data.

Of course, this is not meant as an attack on the tribes — far from it. After all, one could probably find $24 million between the couch cushions at the Pentagon.

What makes this expenditure maddening is that it, like most things in California, is dripping with wokeness.

For instance, Natural Resources Secretary Wade Crowfoot, who effectively oversees the program, justified it not on fire management grounds but as a remedy for historical injustices. California, he said, originated in a “state-sanctioned policy of genocide.” Thus, Crowfoot made it sound as if the governor had a plan to return the land to the “leadership of California Native American tribes.”

Newsom, of course, has no such plan. But saying that he has one sounds good in upscale places like the French Laundry.

Worse yet, the “Tribal Wildfire Resilience” program engages in discrimination by allocating resources based on race.

“As part of this commitment to ‘cultural burning,’” the City Journal wrote, “California has created separate fire-certification processes for nontribal and tribal populations. White, black, Latino, and Asian fire bosses must receive technical certifications, including a 40-hour burn-boss course and, in some cases, a federal certificate. ‘Cultural fire practitioners,’ by contrast, are certified through simple tribal recognition that a person has ‘substantial experience’ burning for cultural purposes.”

Should anyone ever make a case of it, the U.S. Supreme Court almost certainly would find those race-based provisions unconstitutional.

Again, none of this reflects in any way on the tribes themselves. Perhaps some “cultural fire practitioners” really do have “substantial experience” in clearing brush via controlled fires. After all, early American history is filled with stories of Indians skilled in that practice.

In that case, however, why do they require public funding? Why must the privileged Newsom, one of the whitest of white men who ever lived, teach them traditional cultural techniques?

In February, CNN data guru Harry Enten referred to the 2028 Democratic presidential field as a “clown car.” Newsom, long regarded as a possible front-runner, might be the car’s driver.

For one thing, stories of his grotesque mismanagement of the state have become too ubiquitous to ignore.

In a 2023 debate, Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis of Florida made Newsom’s name synonymous with the human feces-covered streets of San Francisco.

Of course, when destructive wildfires hit Los Angeles in January 2025, Newsom botched the state’s response. (Imagine what Los Angeles firefighters could have done with $24 million.)

Then — in a remarkable video that every American should see — Newsom, when confronted by a distressed constituent, lied about having then-President Joe Biden on the phone, and then the governor doubled down on the lie.

In short, the “Tribal Wildfire Resilience” program has the makings of another woke-inspired Newsom disaster.

A federal judge on Friday launched an investigation into the Trump Administration’s settlement with the IRS that led to the $1.77 billion anti-weaponization fund.

Earlier this month, President Trump dropped his $10 billion lawsuit against the IRS over the leak of his tax returns in exchange for a deal.

Trump dropped his blockbuster lawsuit against the agency in exchange for a $1.7 billion taxpayer-funded fund to pay people who were unfairly targeted by the Biden Regime.

In January, President Trump, Eric Trump, Don Jr., and the Trump Org filed a lawsuit against the IRS for leaking their tax returns.

They sought $10 billion in damages.

After Trump agreed to drop his lawsuit in exchange for the anti-weaponization fund, a group of former judges asked a federal judge to launch an inquiry to determine whether the Trump Administration defrauded the court.

On Friday, Miami-based US District Judge Kathleen Williams, an Obama appointee, launched the inquiry.

Politico reported:

A federal judge is demanding answers to allegations that President Donald Trump defrauded her court by filing a lawsuit against the IRS as a pretext to reach a settlement that resulted in a $1.8 billion “anti-weaponization” fund to make payouts to his political allies.

U.S. District Judge Kathleen Williams launched the inquiry Friday, after closing the lawsuit on her docket last week. The Miami-based Obama appointee cited a request by 35 former federal judges who urged her to reopen the case to determine whether Trump’s effort amounted to “serious misconduct” and an abuse of the court system.

In September 2023, federal prosecutors charged a former IRS contractor who worked for the agency from 2018 to 2020 with unlawfully obtaining and disseminating the tax details of a high-ranking public official and numerous affluent Americans to media outlets.

According to court documents and an official press release from the Department of Justice, Charles Littlejohn, 38, of Washington, D.C., stole tax return information associated with a high-ranking government official, referred to as Public Official A  – now known as Donald Trump. He then disclosed this information to a news organization identified as News Organization 1 – now known as The New York Times.

Littlejohn reportedly stole IRS information on thousands of wealthy people. The stolen information was then disseminated to two news outlets (New York Times and ProPublica).

Littlejohn was only sentenced to five years in prison. Political leaders said he should have been sentenced to 60 years.

The lead federal prosecutor in James Comey’s criminal prosecution related to his Instagram assassination post has resigned from the case.

Matthew Petracca, an Assistant US Attorney in the Eastern District of North Carolina, has resigned from Comey’s case and other criminal cases.

According to NBC News, Petracca thought about leaving the DOJ, but decided to remain at the Department after taking a week off.

Ellis Boyle, Acting US Attorney for the Eastern District of North Carolina, hired Petracca several months ago.

NBC News reported:

A rookie federal prosecutor who brought a case accusing former FBI Director James Comey of threatening President Donald Trump’s life by posting a photo of seashells on Instagram has stepped off the case.

Matthew Petracca, who had been recently hired as an assistant U.S. attorney in the Eastern District of North Carolina, is no longer on the Comey case, according to a court filing.

Petracca also dropped off of other criminal cases in the Eastern District of North Carolina in recent days, according to court filings. Petracca is a former Republican county committeeman in New Jersey whom Eastern District of North Carolina W. Ellis Boyle hired months ago, NBC News has reported. Boyle oversaw the highly criticized case, which will go to trial in October if it manages to survive legal challenges.

Petracca had contemplated leaving the Justice Department altogether, according to two people familiar with the matter, but instead remained a DOJ employee after taking a week off. Petracca had not responded to a previous request for comment on his status at the Justice Department, and did not respond to an additional request for comment on Friday. The U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of North Carolina did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

James Comey posted his threatening ‘8647’ Instagram post last May.

“Cool shell formation on my beach walk,” Comey said.

’86 47′ is a threat to ‘eliminate/kill’ the 47th president.

James Comey was indicted by a grand jury in the Eastern District of North Carolina on two felony counts last month:

COUNT ONE: Knowingly and willfully make a threat to take the life of, and to inflict bodily harm upon, the President of the United States;

COUNT TWO: knowingly and willfully did transmit in interstate and foreign commerce a communication that contained a threat to kill the President, Donald J. Trump

North Carolina-based US District Judge Louise Flanagan, a George W. Bush appointee, agreed to postpone Comey’s trial date to October.

Comey is facing up to 20 years in prison.

A new White House website builds upon the curiosity generated by the Trump administration’s release of government files on UFOs, but the message is far more down to earth.

They’ve shopped in the same stores, attended the same classes as our children, and lived seemingly normal human existences,” the site reads.

“With one exception — they do not belong here,” the site said.

The message starts to shine through as the script continues.

“Until one man finally had the courage to tell the truth. Bold. Unapologetic. Unafraid. President Trump was the first to call out the real danger Aliens pose to every American family, every community, and the future of our nation.”

After a counter logs numbers beyond 3 million, visitors then get the real message as they reach an “Alien Arrest Map” that logs the number of arrests made by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

“If you’ve witnessed an Alien abduction, do not be alarmed. The Alien is in good hands. We will take care of it… and return it safely to its place of origin.”

For the clueless who are still trying to fit the site into theories that extra-terrestrial beings are on Earth, the site then spells it all out.

The site also offers those who submit an email address the option of learning about illegal immigrant arrests near them.

MSNBC host Al Sharpton has likened President Trump’s plans for an Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) event at the White House to slavery.

The event, dubbed UFC Freedom 250, will be held on the South Lawn of the White House on June 14 as part of America’s 250th anniversary celebrations.

The card, being organized alongside UFC President Dana White, is expected to feature seven fights, including a lightweight title bout between Ilia Topuria and Justin Gaethje, with a temporary arena being constructed on White House grounds for thousands of spectators.

The event will also coincide with Trump’s 80th birthday and Flag Day. 

On Friday morning’s episode of Morning Joe, Sharpton compared it to slaves being forced to fight for the entertainment of their masters.

Sharpton ranted:

The fact is that 250 years ago, when they signed the Declaration of Independence, we were enslaved. Women couldn’t vote; only white male landowners could. So if we want to celebrate something, celebrate the people that corrected.

The isidious behavior of some of the Founding Fathers who extolled the right virtues but didn’t practice them for all people at all genders. I think that we have to do that very loudly, very boldly and unapologetically.

I mean, we’re going to Washington on the anniversary of the March on Washington, 63 August 28 this year. We need to bring out that yes, we went from slavery to a President of the United States of color, but it was bloodshed, it was nights in jail, it was beatings.

It was all kinds of things that got us there. Let’s celebrate how we grew and the people that paid the price for it, and that are continuing to pay the price now, because when we’re dealing with this redistricting, Trump and others are trying to bring us back to an America that we struggled to get out of.

So there is a connection of why that they’re having these fights on the White House lawn, the UFO, whatever they call UFC, and all that because they’re trying to go back to that when, you know, they’d watch people have these fights, for the slave masters, and they’d be entertained, but they’re literally going back to that.
