In a fiery Truth Social post on Saturday morning, President Donald Trump unleashed on an activist Obama-appointed federal judge who just blocked the safety renovations and name change at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts and demanded he face criminal charges for hiding massive conflicts of interest involving his radical left wife.

The development comes just one day after U.S. District Judge Christopher R. Cooper ruled that Trump’s hand-picked Kennedy Center board illegally added the President’s name to the venue and improperly voted to close it for two years of critical structural repairs.

Cooper sided with a lawsuit from Democrat Rep. Joyce Beatty and ordered Trump’s name stripped from the building, website, and all materials within two weeks. He claimed the renovations could proceed without shutting down the facility, despite expert warnings of imminent danger.

In the lengthy Truth Social post, the President laid out the shocking web of connections proving the judge cannot possibly be impartial and called for him to face justice.

The president began by explaining the needed repairs.

“Can you imagine? A Barack Hussein Obama Judge named Christopher Cooper has stopped a magnificent structural and aesthetic rebuilding of The Trump Kennedy Center where Millions of Dollars of material, marble, furniture, steel, air conditioning, heating, and so much else was ordered, or soon to be ordered, with the end result being a structure that would no longer be in a potential state of collapse, rusted, rotted, and rat and bug infested, to one that would be the Finest anywhere in the World. It was necessary to close the Center in order to get this work done. It is not possible to have a major and very dangerous Construction job, including the replacement of structural beams, with audiences innocently going in to watch a Play. The marble is in terrible shape, the pipes are gone, the air conditioning and heating systems are 65 years old, and no longer functioning. It was all being torn out to be replaced by brand new Carrier Equipment, at the highest standard.”

“Now that won’t happen anymore because a Judge, whose wife is an anti Trump Hater, and he is too, decided, unprecedentedly, to not allow a desperately needed Building Renovation to go forward. On top of that, he said, ‘Rip his name off the Building, he’s got 20 days to do so,’ even though a large Board of some of the most distinguished people in the Country voted unanimously to put the name up. I didn’t do it, the Board did because they thought it would be good for this dying Institution, which was doing Record Low Business and, especially after COVID, only getting worse — True for other such Institutions throughout the Country, but The Trump Kennedy Center was going to be a special one. It would have fully recovered, when none others will. It would have been a New Standard of Excellence, one of my many Gifts to Washington, D.C. The new Building would have been incomparable, beautiful marble, magnificent chandeliers, the finest carpets, rugs, and furniture, designed at the highest level but, perhaps most importantly, replaced steel on many beams, columns, and girders, making the Building structurally sound again. People shouldn’t be allowed to go into that Building until this is fixed, and yet the Trump Hating Judge wants to keep it open because his wife probably told him to do so!”

Trump went on to explain that Cooper’s wife, Amy Jeffress, is a Democrat activist who has been deeply embroiled in efforts to take the president down.

“Cooper’s wife, Amy Jeffress, who doesn’t use the ‘Cooper’ name because they, as a couple, don’t want people to know that she has a Conflict of Interest with an important Judge, is a Radical Left Democrat, who worked as a Federal Prosecutor and Counselor to Obama Attorney General, Eric Holder, worked behind the scenes for the January 6th Unselect Committee of Political Hacks and Thugs, Dirty Cop FBI attorney Lisa Page in the Hillary Clinton Email Scandal, RUSSIA RUSSIA RUSSIA Hoax, and her Millions of Dollars Settlement, even though she was ‘guilty as hell,’ and is currently representing Sleepy Joe Biden on the release of his audio tapes, and more,” Trump wrote.

Trump continued, “She also works for the same Legal Firm that represented E. Jean Carroll who received a decision against me, now under appeal, that was shocking to the entire World. Amy is totally wired into the Left System, from her husband down, and it is impossible for me to be treated fairly.”

The president asserted that the judge should face charges for failing to disclose his extreme conflict of interest.

“He has a total Conflict of Interest, and should be brought up on charges for not revealing these facts,” Trump wrote.

Under Trump’s leadership, the Kennedy Center board unanimously voted in March to rename it in honor of the President’s transformative work and to close temporarily starting July 2026 for a massive $250 million renovation.

Experts presented evidence of rotting beams, collapsing parking structures, 65-year-old HVAC systems that are failing, rusted pipes, pest infestations, and serious life-safety risks that made continued full operation dangerous.

The board argued that a full closure was essential for safety during major structural steel replacements and aesthetic upgrades.

Cooper dismissed this in a 94-page opinion, calling the board’s decision “ill-informed and seemingly preordained” and ruling that repairs could proceed in phases without a total shutdown. He permanently enjoined the name change, citing the 1964 law establishing the center, which says only Congress can rename it.

President Trump went off on the New York Times in a lengthy Truth Social post on Friday over its attacks on Trump’s renovation of the nearly half-mile-long reflecting pool, which sits between the Washington Monument and the Lincoln Memorial. 

The outlet has written several hit pieces on the project to restore the filthy green water basin, built in the 1920s, which has been marred by issues, including sinking and leaking into the swamp beneath. “Hundreds of Millions of Dollars have been spent throughout the years trying to fix it, and even from its inception, in 1922, it never really worked!” Trump noted.

Still, a recent New York Times piece attacks Trump over his $13.1 million budget and the so-called “lucrative contracts” awarded to “hand-picked vendors.”

But according to Interior Secretary Doug Burgum, the Trump Derangement Syndrome-infected Times ignores the scope of the project to properly seal the pool with crack and leak-proof materials for the expansion joints, which will withstand the years and changing temperatures that come with the seasons. “This is something the Obama administration didn’t understand,” Burgum said, adding that Obama “wasted millions upon millions of taxpayer dollars” with a failed project in 2012, which had a massive cost of $34 million, more than twice what Trump is paying. Notably, Obama’s botched repairs took nearly two years to complete, while Trump’s will be completed by July 4 after starting in April. 

The “Obama-era errors that failed at the cost of millions for the American taxpayer,” Burgum said, caused the pool to continue leaking a whopping 16 million gallons of water per year.

“Finally, we have professionals doing the right job for a tiny fraction of the money that has been spent, and The Failing New York Times continues to demean the work of these wonderful, talented, and proud construction professionals that are bringing this over 2,000 foot long pool, the largest in the World, BACK TO LIFE!” Trump said. “It is happening before your very eyes, and will soon be completed at a much higher level, and after doing much more work than was originally anticipated.”

Trump previously said they had to remove “eleven or twelve truckloads of filth out of the water” when a reporter asked why he would bother cleaning the monument.

It is happening before your very eyes, and will soon be completed at a much higher level, and after doing much more work than was originally anticipated.

As an example, in addition to doing the interior Pool, we are restoring the walkway surfaces on each side, fixing the water system, drainage, and so much more — The scope of the Project has been greatly enlarged as we became involved because we realized how important it would be to Washington, D.C., and the record number of visitors coming to our now very safe Capital for all of the upcoming events in celebration of our 250th Anniversary. It is one of the most visited and photographed Pools in the World and, when we took it over, it was a disgusting, garbage strewn dump that leaked, smelled, and was an embarrassment to our Country, and two of our Greatest Presidents. 45,000 Gallons a Day of water was pouring out of its broken seams, so that water would have to run continuously just to keep it at the same level. The @nytimes has TDS and is ignoring the facts. The final materials for the 2.5 miles worth of expansion joints at the Reflecting Pool passed testing flawlessly last week and this week. Installation is currently underway for one full-scale expansion joint, with the installation of the remaining four expansion joints scheduled for tomorrow and Saturday.

The expansion joints installed under Obama, who wasted millions upon millions of taxpayer dollars, have catastrophically failed, leaking 16 MILLION GALLONS of water per YEAR and costing hard-working taxpayers hundreds of thousands of dollars.

@POTUS isn’t just making the Reflecting Pool Beautiful Again, he’s fixing the Memorial’s disastrous, Obama-era errors that failed at the cost of millions for the American taxpayer.

After ripping out industrial-scale dumpsters worth of decaying and failing expansion joints, the Trump administration is now installing industrial-grade, leak-proof materials for the expansion joints. Anyone familiar with large-scale construction projects would understand materials are tested to ensure they perform effectively before being deployed at scale.

The massive slabs that form the bottom of the pool, which is much longer than the Empire State building, expand and contract based on the temperature. Specialized materials are necessary for the expansion joints to handle the expected movement while not breaking, cracking or leaking. This is something the Obama administration didn’t understand.

After consultation with the Army Corps of Engineers Engineering Research and Design Center, a 6-foot test section for the final expansion joint materials was installed last week before the recent rain and cooler weather. The test section passed testing with flying colors and is in perfect condition at this time. Notably, during the testing with the cooler nights last week, the test joint expanded more than 1 inch, but the material in the expansion joint remained perfectly intact, providing a perfect seal to prevent leakage. As we know @POTUS is an expert builder.

The final system for the expansion joints involves filling the 2.5 miles of joint expansion with urethane-impregnated foam, which is then covered by urethane caulk. That caulk is allowed to set overnight and is then coated with a very flexible and stretchy polyurea – the final layer in the expansion joint system. These materials will handle the 1-2″ of movement these joints experience from summer to winter without any issues.

While the @nytimes continue to write falsehoods and refuses to write accurately on what is happening at the pool, the expansion joints will be perfectly sealed to prevent leaking, in marked contrast to the failed, exorbitantly priced Obama-era expansion joints.

Bottom line: President Trump is the Builder in Chief and has made D.C. Safe and Beautiful ahead of our nation’s 250th celebration. This administration is doing this project at a fraction of the cost, at 10 times the speed. Under @POTUS we are fixing the Reflecting Pool for good. One of the most vulnerable Republican senators is facing a stunning new threat to his political livelihood from a man with the same name as him after a Democrat strategist pulled off a dirty trick.

Fox News reported that campaign material metadata reveals that Amber Lee, a far-left Democrat consultant, authored a press release announcing a Alaska Senate bid for a “Dan Sullivan” who has nothing to do with incumbent Alaska GOP Senator Sullivan.

The Dan Sullivan whom Lee planted claims that he is running because Senator Sullivan “failed to put Alaska first.”

“For too long, Senator Sullivan has failed to put Alaska first,” Dan Sullivan, a Petersburg resident, said while announcing his candidacy. “When you care about a people and a place, you have a duty to make every sacrifice in your power to protect them.”

“That’s why I’m running.”

Fox News notes that Lee’s consulting firm, Amber Strategies, lists several leftist clients, including Alaska Women’s Ascent.

This group aims to “train women who are pro-choice, pro-LGBTQ rights, pro-union, anti-racist and pro-racial justice” to serve as candidates and volunteers.

The National Republican Senate Committee was rightfully livid over the dirty trick pulled by Democrats.

“Mary Peltola and Chuck Schumer know they can’t beat Senator Sullivan on his record, so they’re resorting to deceitful political maneuvers that attempt to trick Alaskans and buy a seat,” NRSC Committee Spokesperson Nick Puglia told Fox News.

Both Sullivans will appear in Alaska’s ridiculous open primary system, where the top four candidates advance to the general election. This means Alaska voters could be asked to pick TWICE between two people with the same name.

If selected among them, the second Sullivan may appear on the ballot in November — a development that could prove especially confusing to Alaska’s many rural communities.

Despite the comedic nature of the thinly-veiled ploy, the filing is especially relevant in Alaska — one of only two states that have implemented ranked choice voting. The system allows voters to select multiple candidates in order of preference.

Under this model, voters can still apply their vote to a second, sometimes even a third option if their first choice is eliminated from contention.

The system, sometimes called “instant runoff voting,” greatly increases the influence of candidates that may not otherwise be a voter’s first choice.

Making the Democrats’ sabotage effort even more obvious is that the civilian Dan Sullivan has an Instagram account with no posts and just four followers.

Senator Dan Sullivan is currently in a very tight race with former Democratic representative Mary Peltola. The most recent polls show Peltola with a small lead.

Should she win, the Democrats’ chances of taking the Senate skyrocket. Thus, it’s completely unsurprising they are pulling out all the stops.

There is a small silver lining for the GOP, however: Alaska News Source notes that if there are two Dan Sullivan’s on the ballot, a Division of Elections spokesperson said middle initials will be used, citing state law.

But will voters be savvy enough to make the distinction?

No one should be surprised that radical socialist New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani will be the first mayor in over 60 years to skip the city’s annual Israel Day Parade, which will be held on Sunday, May 31, despite attending other events that celebrate the city’s diverse cultural landscape.

As The Geller Report notes, “Mamdani’s hatred of the Jewish people is so consuming, it defines his mayoralty.”

Mamdani’s first veto in office jettisoned a bipartisan bill aimed at combatting antizemitism.

Further, he nullified pro-Israel executive orders signed by former Mayor Eric Adams, including overturning an order that adopted the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance’s definition of anti-Semitism.

He also scrapped an Adams order to oppose the anti-Israel Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions movement, which banned any city contracting actions “that discriminate against the state of Israel, Israeli citizens based on their national origin, or individuals or entities based on their association with Israel.”

Before even taking office, he came under fire for his appointment of Catherine Almonte Da Costa to the role of Director of Appointments. Her resurfaced vile rants, including comments about “money-hungry Jews” and saying the Far Rockaway train “is the Jew train.” Following the firestorm, Da Costa resigned from the position before even starting it.

Since 1964, every mayor in the city has attended the Jewish celebration, which comes amid record levels of antisemitism and weeks of anti-Israel demonstrations outside synagogues and Jewish communal institutions across New York.

Mamdani indicated that he would not attend as a matter of political principle. He has voiced frequent criticism of Israel following the Hamas Oct. 7, 2023, attack on the Jewish state and, upon taking office in January, scrapped an order that barred city agencies from participating in the Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions (BDS) campaign against Israel.

“I look forward to joining and hosting many community events celebrating Jewish life in New York and the rich Jewish history and culture of our city,” Mamdani’s spokesman told the Jewish Telegraphic Agency.

His “principled” decision garnered widespread backlash.

Rabbi Marc Schneier, president of the Foundation for Ethnic Understanding, shared his blunt message to Mamdani in a Daily News op-ed noting, “The mayor was elected to lead all of us. He has decided that some of us are not worth his time. That is his right. It is also our right to remember it.”

Last weekend, just before the Jewish Sabbath began, Mamdani posted a four-minute propaganda video marking the “Nakba.” The “Nakba” translates to a “great catastrophe.” The “Nakba” was declared by the Palestinians on the day Israel became an independent state.

Not once does he acknowledge that the “Nakba” was the result of Israel’s neighbors declaring war on the Jewish state the moment it was born. Not once does he mention the 850,000 Jews who were expelled from their homes in Arab lands after Israel’s 1948 independence.

For the mayor of New York to invoke the “Nakba” during American Jewish Heritage Month shows a complete disregard and insensitivity for what his Jewish constituents are living through right now. Can you be more tone deaf, Mr. Mayor?

Cringe New York Gov. Kathy Hochul is facing backlash after botching a jab at President Donald Trump over his New York Knicks fandom during a recent press conference in New York City. When asked about a New York Times report that Trump is a lifelong Knicks fan who may attend an NBA Finals game at Madison Square Garden, Hochul quipped that she would “ask him to name the starting lineup from the 1993 championship team and see how he does.”

Basketball fans quickly pointed out that the Knicks have not won an NBA title since 1973, when a team led by Walt Frazier and Willis Reed beat the Los Angeles Lakers, making Hochul’s 1993 reference historically inaccurate. In reality, the 1993 Knicks lost in the Eastern Conference finals to Michael Jordan’s Chicago Bulls, while the franchise’s only championships came in 1970 and 1973.

The governor’s misfire came after Trump told reporters he had been invited by Knicks owner James Dolan and others to attend an NBA Finals game, praising the Eastern Conference champions and exclaiming, “Boy, what a team,” while noting he hoped to watch them in person. Trump, a Queens native and longtime New York sports figure, also said he had planned to attend a conference finals game at Madison Square Garden before the Knicks swept the Cleveland Cavaliers to clinch the series early.

On social media platform X, clips of Hochul’s comment circulated widely as users mocked her grasp of Knicks history and accused her of “airballing” a simple trivia test meant to embarrass the president. Fox News and other outlets amplified fan reactions noting that “there’s just one problem: the Knicks didn’t win a championship in 1993,” while users piled on with memes referencing the team’s actual 1973 title. Donald Trump Jr. joined the pile-on by posting that anyone who knows his father understands he “probably knows more about sports than just about any human being not in the business,” portraying Hochul’s soundbite as a failed attempt to question the president’s bona fides.

One of the NFL’s most promising young stars delivered a strong message this week to the haters trashing him for daring to associate with and support President Trump.

As The Gateway Pundit’s Jordan Conradson reported, President Trump delivered remarks at Rockland Community College in Suffern, New York, on May 22, and he was welcomed to the stage by 23-year-old New York Giants starting quarterback Jaxson Dart, who came out publicly in support of the President.

“I’m grateful, I’m honored, I’m pleasured to introduce the 45th and 47th President of the United States of America, President Donald J. Trump,” Dart said before Trump appeared to the tune of Lee Greenwood’s God Bless the USA.

Dart, the second-year NFL star and Giants’ starting quarterback, has not been a visible supporter of Trump in the past, but has hinted at his politics.

For having the gall to introduce President Trump at the rally, Dart came under attack from not only the media but also from some of his teammates. No one would have said a word had he decided to introduce Joe Biden or Barack Obama at a rally, however.

But rather than grovel before the woke left and beg for their mercy, Dart calmly explained during a press conference on Friday why he decided to stand with Trump.

Dart astutely noted that being given the chance to introduce the most powerful man in the world is a unique opportunity and a way to show his love for America.

He then revealed his family’s history of public service, including those who served in the military, before making another important point: the president’s position has always been one he has respected, regardless of political affiliation.

In other words, Dart is saying people need to honor the office of the president, regardless of who is residing in the Oval Office. That is certainly something woke athletes can learn from, especially those in the NBA and WNBA.

The White House has released President Trump’s most recent physical, and there’s one notable change regarding his overall health from the last time.

As The Gateway Pundit reported, Trump completed his third physical at Walter Reed Medical Center since taking office in January 2025.

The good news is that Trump has received high marks from Captain Sean P. Barbabella, who examined him.

“President Trump remains in excellent health, demonstrating strong cardiac, pulmonary, neurological, and overall physical function,” Barbabella wrote.

Highlights from the physical included Trump achieving a perfect score on the Montreal Cognitive Assessment test, showing his mind remains quite sharp. There was also an improvement from a slight lower leg swelling that was discovered last year.

“His demanding daily schedule, including multiple high-level meetings, public engagements, and regular physical activity, continues to support his overall well-being. Cognitive and physical performance are excellent,” he added.

Moreover, Barbabella said the president is “fully fit” to carry out his duties as commander-in-chief.

There was one significant and somewhat concerning detail in the report: It disclosed that the president, who will turn 80 years old next month, had gained 17 pounds since his last physical in April 2025.

Back then, Trump weighed 221 lbs. Now, he weighs 238 lbs.

The report, however, does not recommend any major changes.

“Preventive counseling was provided, including guidance on diet, recommendation to take a low-dose aspirin, increased physical activity, and continued weight loss,” it reads.

“Just finished my 6-month physical at Walter Reed Military Medical Center. Everything checked out PERFECTLY. Thank you to the great Doctors and Staff! Heading back to the White House. President DJT,” Trump said on Truth Social.

Students at Southern Illinois University’s Simmons Law School were reportedly threatened with a “letter of reprimand” that would be placed in their permanent file if they did not attend a mandatory diversity, equity, and inclusion training session.

The reprimand letter could also be shared with the state bar, according to a report from the Daily Signal published earlier this week.

“Those who cannot attend in person typically fulfill the make-up expectations without issue,” an associate dean wrote to one of the students who didn’t wish to participate.

“If a student misses a required session and does not complete a make-up within a reasonable period of time, we typically issue a letter of reprimand,” the dean added.

The email was obtained by a parental rights group called Defending Education.

After multiple Freedom of Information Act requests, Defending Education obtained the message, which also said that the “letter is placed in the student’s permanent file and would be shared with the bar if the file is requested as part of the character and fitness process.”

In addition, other emails revealed that the university is teaching students that the law, and legal field, can be “racially discriminatory.”

The Daily Signal highlighted a specific part of the training that mentioned bullying.

One of the presentation slides read, “Bullying disproportionately affects traditionally underrepresented groups,” while another slide claimed “lawyers of color were bullied more often than white lawyers.”

Erika Sanzi, senior director of communications at Defending Education, told the outlet that the school’s tactics are “indefensible and embarrassing.”

“Threatening law school students with a letter of reprimand if they refuse to attend a DEI session they were deceived about is indefensible and embarrassing,” a statement from Defending Education noted.

This news comes just days after the council of the American Bar Association, which oversees law school accreditation in the United States, moved to change a rule that forces schools to support DEI.

This represents a major reversal from the decades-old requirement that law schools actively work to increase the amount of female and minority students within their ranks.

The rule will not officially change, however, until the ABA’s House of Delegates examines the issue in August.

The requirement may not be formally changed until 2027, and was initially suspended back in February 2025, one month after President Donald Trump began his second term in office.

The president has continually opposed DEI initiatives and has worked to eliminate such doctrines within federal agencies.

He has also threatened to withhold federal funds from organizations that continue to push DEI, and those that attempt to rebrand in an effort to sidestep the new regulations.
