President Trump on Tuesday hosted former Mesa County, Colorado, Election Clerk Tina Peters at the White House after she was released from prison earlier this month, more than four years after her arrest in March 2022.
“’FREE TINA!’ became the rallying cry of the Republican Party over the past two years,” the President said, announcing her visit.
Peters was sentenced to nine years in prison in October 2024 after she was accused of breaching the Mesa County election systems and leaking Dominion voting machine passwords.
But Peters contends that her office had the Dominion machine passwords, which is what Maricopa County successfully argued when they were subpoenaed for Dominion passwords during the Arizona Election audit in 2021.
Soros-funded Colorado Secretary of State Jenna Griswold was behind the politically motivated accusations.
Judge Matthew Barrett, the trial judge in the Colorado state court, didn’t simply punish her for her conduct. He explicitly cited her ongoing political speech as justification for denying her bond and keeping her in prison.
Trump announced her visit to the White House on Tuesday with a photo of the two in the Oval Office, writing, “Tina Peters just came to the White House to thank me for getting her released from prison in Colorado. She was put there because she found Election Fraud, but instead of arresting the people that committed the Fraud, they arrested her!”
“They gave her nine years in jail, and she served two, much time in solitary confinement along with hardened criminals and murderers, and then I got the Republican Party into gear, and she was released. Tina is 70-years-old, suffered a major bout with cancer, but hopefully is now cancer free,” he said.
“What she went through should never happen to anyone again. Just think of it, she caught the Democrats cheating, and they put her in jail for Voter Fraud.”
“They didn’t want her out there speaking to the Media. She knows that the Voting Machines are RIGGED, that the Mail In Ballots are a DISASTER, and that our Elections are very Dangerous and Corrupt at a time when, with the Threat of Communism, we must be very wise and careful! It was an Honor to have lunch with her. I was fortunate, my Vote in 2024 was TOO BIG TO RIG, but they tried. There wasn’t a thing they could do about it, but not everyone is in that position. Thank you for your attention to this matter. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!” he continued.
Tina Peters also posted a photo of herself in front of the Presidential Walk of Fame in the Rose Garden, writing, “Greatest President Ever!”
Swift Observatory – Illustration NASA/Wiki Commons
Swift needs a little boost.
NASA is involved in a different type of space race, as the agency scrambles to save the aging Swift Observatory telescope from falling back to Earth.
The daring, $30 million salvage mission is expected to start this week, with the launch of a ‘robotic lifesaver’.
The launch of the mission to boost Swift was initially scheduled for today (30), but was scrubbed due to weather.
The next launch attempt is targeted for tomorrow, July 1, at 5:43 a.m. EDT.
The Katalyst spacecraft will be launched on Northrop Grumman’s Pegasus XL rocket from Kwajalein Atoll, Marshall Islands.

“NASA hired startup Katalyst Space Technologies to boost the Swift Observatory to a higher orbit where it can continue hunting for some of the universe’s biggest explosions. A three-armed spacecraft built by Katalyst will chase after Swift once it takes off from an atoll in the Pacific’s Marshall Islands aboard an airplane-launched Pegasus rocket. Liftoff could occur as early as Tuesday.
Scanning the cosmos since its launch in 2004, Swift has been sinking faster and faster because of recent intense solar activity. It needs to get to a higher, more stable orbit as soon as possible to survive.”

“’This is the first American space robot to go up and do anything like this’, [Katalyst Space CEO Ghonhee] Lee told The Associated Press. ‘NASA has all these big senior observatories … all of them can benefit from a service like this. So, what we’re proving with this mission is this is a new play in the playbook that’s available’.
It will take Katalyst’s autonomous spacecraft, named Link, about a month to rendezvous with Swift and catch it, and another couple of months to raise its orbit from the current 224 miles (360 kilometers) to the desired 373 miles (600 kilometers).
The 1.6-ton (1.4-metric ton) gamma ray observatory must be above 185 miles (300 kilometers) for the rescue to work. It’s expected to reach that point of no return in October, according to the latest estimates.”
Are you ready for it?
Tomorrow, June 30, at 6:17 a.m. ET, Katalyst Space’s robotic servicing spacecraft, LINK, is scheduled to launch on a Northrop Grumman Pegasus XL rocket from Kwajalein Atoll to begin its journey to meet and boost our Swift observatory. Stay tuned for updates! pic.twitter.com/oOafcLFKua
Loyola University student Sheridan Gorman murdered by Venezuelan illegal alien Jose Medina-Medina
Jessica Gorman, mother of Sheridan Gorman, the Loyola student who was murdered by one of Joe Biden’s illegal aliens, went off on Democrats during a House Judiciary hearing on Tuesday.
18-year-old Sheridan Gorman was murdered by one of Joe Biden’s illegal aliens in the sanctuary state of Democrat-run Illinois.
Earlier this year, the Loyola University student was shot and killed near campus in Chicago.
A masked gunman approached a group of students walking in Rogers Park and opened fire.
Gorman was shot in the head and died at the scene.
The DHS confirmed that the masked gunman who killed Gorman is a 25-year-old illegal alien from Venezuela who entered the US under the Biden Regime.
“The story is about my Sheridan. It’s about how failed border policies, sanctuary city laws, and twisted leaders refuse to cooperate with ICE,” Jess Gorman said.
“They sent her to her grave,” she said.
“It’s about a government and politicians that forgot their first priority. And the question before this committee is painfully simple: When did protecting our American citizens stop being your first priority?”
“And even more important, why did protecting our American citizens stop being your first priority? I want an explanation, I need one and I deserve one!” she said.
“Thanks for telling me without telling me that you know you’re here, but you don’t want to be,” she said. “Thanks for telling me you don’t care.”
“This cannot be buried under your slogans, your statistics or excuses, and this just can’t stand.”
As the fake news media and the Democratic Party try to claim that its far-left Democratic Socialist wing does not represent communism, a clip has resurfaced showing a top Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) leader openly admitting “Our goal is Communism”
As The Gateway Pundit reported, CNN’s Kaitlan Collins went on air on Friday and blasted Trump for saying that the Democratic Socialists are “the most serious threat to our country since its existence.” She described his comments as “border apocalyptic,” while insisting that the Democratic Socialists of America are not actually Communists.
“While Democrats themselves have been wrestling with what Tuesday night means for the direction of their party, socialism, much less democratic socialism, is not Communism,” Collins said.
However, a clip has resurfaced, showing DSA National Leader David Jenkins debunking her claims by literally admitting that the goal of the DSA is “Communism.”
A compilation of Jenkins’s previous remarks shows him saying on a Zoom call, “Our goal is liberation. Our goal is Communism.” It is unclear when the clip was recorded.
The video goes on to feature Jenkins’s greatest hits, including calling to defund the police at a New York City budget hearing, admitting that he aligns with Marxism, admitting he was present at the January 6 protests as a “counterprotester,” and spewing violent rhetoric.
But Kaitlan Collins, CNN, and the Democratic Party want you to believe these people are simply “democratic socialists,” far from Communists.
WATCH:
The video, which is currently going viral for the part where Jenkins admits, “Our goal is Communism,” was originally created and shared in April by citizen journalist Stu Smith.
You may have seen the recent New York Post piece on David Jenkins, the DSA mime leader who also holds national leadership. Since mimes are usually silent, it seemed worth letting people hear Jenkins in his own words.
Consider this supercut a helpful guide for anyone still wondering what “libertarian socialism” looks like in practice.
Though he brands himself a libertarian socialist, Jenkins frames the broader DSA project in explicit terms, “Our goal is liberation. Our goal is communism.”
He calls for disbanding the NYPD’s Strategic Response Group, aligns himself with a political tendency that includes anarchists and left communists, and says he was the “only DSA member” at a January 6 counter-protest in Washington.
Speaking about his campaign against the SRG, Jenkins escalates the rhetoric further, “We’re not going anywhere until your goons finally start killing us, because that’s where this shit is going.”
He also fumes that the NYPD protected those attending a rally in support of Daniel Penny, which he denounces as a “disgusting display” by “outside agitators from Long Island” celebrating a “self-deputized racist murderer.”

Fire at former Convent of Mercy in Downpatrick in Northern Ireland via X
A historic former Catholic convent near the burial place of Saint Patrick in Northern Ireland was devastated by a deliberate fire Sunday night, forcing more than 70 firefighters into an overnight battle to save the adjacent parish church.
The blaze, according to a report from Life Site News, broke out at the former Convent of Mercy in Downpatrick, County Down, at around 7 p.m. on June 28. By the time emergency crews arrived, the building was already engulfed in a well-developed fire.
The Northern Ireland Fire & Rescue Service said the cause is believed to have been deliberate. No injuries were reported, but the damage to one of Downpatrick’s most recognizable Catholic landmarks was severe.
Former convent destroyed as over 60 firefighters battle huge blaze in Downpatrick
At the height of the emergency, roughly 70 firefighters were on the scene. Ten appliances responded, backed by aerial ladder units, a command support unit and a water tanker.
Crews used breathing apparatus, firefighting jets and aerial ladder jets to bring the inferno under control. Their most urgent task was not only to contain the fire, but to prevent it from reaching St Patrick’s Church.
The former convent was attached to the church, immediately raising fears that the flames could spread to one of the town’s most important Catholic sites. Firefighters worked through the night to stop that from happening.
The Downpatrick Family of Parishes expressed relief that St Patrick’s Church had been saved. The parish said the fire had been prevented from reaching the church by the “heroism and skill” of the Fire Service.
“Fire fighters worked through the night to protect St Patrick’s and to them we owe an enormous debt of gratitude,” the parish wrote. The statement captured the community’s gratitude, but also the deeper grief of seeing a Catholic landmark destroyed.
CONVENT AND ST PATRICK BURIAL SITE BURN DOWN IN DOWNPATRICK, MEDIA SAYS NOTHING
Yesterday the convent and the burial place of Saint Patrick himself in Downpatrick was reduced to ashes.
Locals say it was arson. The resting place of the patron saint of Ireland set on fire, and… pic.twitter.com/TcXyYM4EDT
The timing made the fire even more painful. Just hours before the blaze, the parish had celebrated the ordination to the priesthood of Fr Thomas Hampton inside St Patrick’s Church.
“Coming at the end of a wonderful day in the life of the parish family — the Ordination to the Priesthood of Fr Thomas Hampton—when the parish came together in a tremendous act of hospitality and welcome, it is particularly sad that so beautiful a building has been destroyed,” the parish said.
The parish also honored the Mercy Order’s long service in Downpatrick. The sisters, it said, had left an “indelible influence for good” after more than 150 years of presence in the parish.
The former Convent of Mercy was built in the 19th century and had long formed part of Downpatrick’s Catholic skyline. Although the building had not recently been in use, it remained a visible symbol of the town’s religious memory and Catholic charitable life.
Local politicians described the scene as devastating. SDLP councillor Conor Galbraith said it was deeply sad to see a fire in “such a historical part of our town.”
South Down MLA Colin McGrath said many locals would remember the convent and the role it played over the years. “Even in recent times, it has remained a familiar part of the Downpatrick skyline, so seeing it go up in flames is upsetting,” he said.
The fire occurred in one of Ireland’s most spiritually significant towns. Downpatrick is closely associated with Saint Patrick, Ireland’s patron saint, whose reputed burial place is nearby at Down Cathedral.
That symbolism cannot be brushed aside. A former convent burning near the resting place of Saint Patrick is not merely a local property loss, it is another wound to the Christian inheritance of Ireland and the wider West.
Authorities have not announced a suspect or motive. There is currently no confirmed evidence linking the Downpatrick fire to immigration, Islam or any organized anti-Christian campaign.
But the destruction comes at a time when Catholic and Christian sites across Europe are being vandalized, desecrated, neglected and, in too many cases, burned. The public is expected to treat every incident as isolated, even as the pattern becomes harder to ignore.
France has become one of the clearest warning signs. Church fires, vandalism and anti-Christian property attacks have become a recurring feature of public life in a country that once called itself the eldest daughter of the Church.
Not every major church fire has been criminal. Notre-Dame de Paris in 2019 and Rouen Cathedral in 2024 were treated by authorities as likely accidental or renovation-related incidents, not confirmed religious attacks.
But even those distinctions do not calm Christian communities. The sight of ancient churches in flames—whether through arson, negligence, decay or official failure—reinforces the sense that Europe is losing the will to defend its own sacred patrimony.
This is why Downpatrick matters beyond Northern Ireland. It is one more image in a wider civilizational crisis: convents burning, churches emptying, Catholic memory being left to rot while Western governments pour energy into progressive causes, migration systems and bureaucratic social engineering.
Ireland has been especially shaken by rapid demographic and cultural change. The country has faced rising pressure over asylum, accommodation centers and the transformation of local communities without meaningful democratic consent.
The issue, for many Irish Catholics, is not simply numbers. It is whether a historically Christian nation can survive when its ruling class treats borders, faith, memory and national continuity as obstacles to be overcome.
Large-scale immigration from societies with very different religious and cultural foundations has intensified that debate. Ordinary citizens are told to celebrate diversity while watching their own churches close, their towns change and their heritage treated as disposable.
That concern is not hatred. It is the instinct of a people who understand that a nation without a defended faith, a defended border and a defended memory will eventually become little more than an administrative zone.
For the growing number of right-wing Catholics, the answer must be renewal rather than apology. Ireland and the rest of the West must restore respect for the Church, defend Christian holy places, enforce borders and reject the globalist lie that nations have no right to preserve themselves.
St Patrick’s Church still stands because firefighters held the line through the night. But the destruction of the old Mercy convent is another warning that Catholic Europe cannot survive on nostalgia alone — it must be defended with faith, borders, law and courage.
Rep. Mike Lawler and the Democrats got into a screaming match at a House Judiciary Committee hearing on Tuesday, which featured testimony from Angel families.
The Democrats lost it because Lawler was highlighting the death and destruction caused by their sanctuary city policies and open borders agenda.
Members of the Committee introduced the witnesses from their state before their testimony began.
This was after the Democrats used their opening statements to blast Republicans for holding a fourth hearing on sanctuary cities. They further lectured angel families about how Alex Pretti and Renee Good, who were shot by ICE agents after violently impeding immigration operations, are the real victims.
As Lawler was introducing Jessica Gorman of New York, the mother of slain 18-year-old Sheridan Gorman, he told the story of Sheridan’s “senseless” murder by an illegal alien.
The teen gil was shot and killed near her college campus in Chicago, Illinois, by a 25-year-old illegal alien who entered the US under the Biden Regime, was later arrested, and then released from local custody under Chicago’s sanctuary city policies. The masked illegal approached a group of students walking in Rogers Park and opened fire with his gun, killing Gorman.
“Our immigration policies exist for a reason, and they should have been enforced. Sheridan would still be with us today, and Jessica would not have to testify before this panel,” Lawler said in his introduction. “Our immigration laws facilitate legal immigration processes to ensure that good, smart people can come into this country, assimilate, and contribute to our communities while also ensuring that criminals who break the law do not get to stay. Their jobs are made infinitely harder when places like New York and Chicago blatantly disregard existing law and provide safe harbor to criminals.”
Rep. Pramilla Jayapal interrupted to object, saying, “This is a statement, not an introduction.”
As Lawler continued, telling the story of how an illegal alien was allowed into the country under Biden in 2023, then arrested for shoplifting and released by Chicago, Rep. Jerry Nadler cut him off, saying, “This is not an introduction, it’s a speech.”
Lawler fired back, shouting, “You all should be ashamed of yourselves. You should be ashamed of yourselves. It is disgraceful. This mother is here precisely because you have failed to do your job. You wonder why we had four hearings. It’s because you don’t understand the consequence of sanctuary policy!”
Jayapal then threatened, “We won’t give our approval for people to introduce their constituents if people don’t stick to the rules,” and Lawler shouted at her, “And introducing my constituent is sharing the details of her death. You may not want to hear the details. It may be an inconvenience to you, but these details matter.”
Lawler went on to say, “While some of my colleagues may not want to hear the truth, the same outrage you feel about Renee Good and Alex Pretti, you should feel about Sheridan Gorman and Lincoln Riley, and every angel family in this country,” prompting outrage from the Democrats and sending Jamie Raskin (D-MD) into a screaming fit.
“I do feel that outrage!” Raskin screamed at Lawler. “You do not, because if you did, you would not support sanctuary jurisdictions!” Lawler fired back over Raskin’s screaming. “You should be ashamed of yourself! You should be ashamed of yourself, Jamie! You’re a disgrace!”
“You don’t belong in this Committee! You should get the hell out of here! You don’t understand the rules of the Committee, you don’t understand the Constitution! You’re full of it!” Raskin was screaming.
Eventually, order was restored to the hearing. Jayapal then declared, “Thanks to Mr. Lawler’s outrageous outburst, we will not allow this to happen again. This was an agreement between the chair and the ranking member, and unfortunately, you’re not able to control your members,” and Lawler slammed her for giving an “outrageous” opening statement.
WATCH:
Still, it should be noted that Mike Lawler is a pro-amnesty RINO who recently demanded that Trump give amnesty to the hundreds of thousands of Haitian aliens who are here illegally after the Supreme Court ruled in favor of Trump ending Temporary Protected Status. Lawler has also co-sponsored the mass amnesty Dignidad Act to give millions of illegal aliens work permits and a path to permanent residency.

Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson, who is 55, included the TikTok slang phrase “understood the assignment” in her concurring opinion in the Supreme Court’s major birthright citizenship ruling issued Tuesday.
The Court ruled 6-3 in Trump v. Barbara to uphold traditional birthright citizenship and strike down President Donald Trump’s executive order denying automatic citizenship for children born in the United States to parents who are illegally present or here on temporary visas.
Chief Justice John Roberts wrote the majority opinion.
Justice Jackson filed a concurring opinion that went further in defending the broad interpretation of the 14th Amendment’s Citizenship Clause.
In her concurrence, Jackson wrote that those who championed the Fourteenth Amendment after the Civil War “understood the assignment.”
In the aftermath of the Civil War, those who championed the Fourteenth Amendment—both within and beyond Congress—understood the assignment. Their work product used “language that transcended race and region,” and thereby “changed and broadened the meaning of freedom for all Americans.” Instead of the limited salve the principal dissent makes it out to be, the Citizenship Clause reflects this universalist approach.”
The phrase is widely used on TikTok and social media, mostly by Gen Z, to mean someone has fully grasped and executed what was expected of them.
Conservatives flooded social media with disgust at the casual internet being used in a formal decision, a sign of a serious decline in the Court’s seriousness.
Justice Kentanji Brown Jackson used the tik tok slang phrase “understood the assignment” in her concurring opinion for the birthright citizenship case pic.twitter.com/c4tDYq0LMN
Many also noted the excessive use of em dashes in the opinion, speculating that it may have been written, at least in part, by AI.
Trump has long argued that birthright citizenship was intended for the children of freed slaves following the Civil War, not as a reward for illegal entry or birth tourism.
President Donald Trump did not hold back in his criticism of the Supreme Court on Tuesday after it struck down his executive order aimed at ending birthright citizenship for children of illegal aliens and those in the country temporarily.
In a Truth Social post on Tuesday afternoon, Trump sarcastically congratulated Chinese President Xi Jinping and China on what he called their “massive Birthright Citizenship WIN.”
The president wrote in full:
I would like to congratulate President Xi, and the Great Country of China, on their massive Birthright Citizenship WIN! President DONALD J. TRUMP
As The Gateway Pundit previously reported, in an earlier post, Trump made clear his view that the fight is not over.
Trump wrote:
The Supreme Court upheld Birthright Citizenship, which is too bad for our Country, but we can easily make it up in Congress through Legislation, with the support of the President, that has now been determined during this process. No long and unwieldy Constitutional Amendment is necessary! Congress should start TODAY to work on ending expensive and unfair to our Country, Birthright Citizenship. They will have my Complete and Total Support! President DONALD J. TRUMP
The ruling came in the case of Trump v. Barbara.
In a 6-3 decision, the Court upheld the modern interpretation of the 14th Amendment’s Citizenship Clause, ruling that children born in the United States to parents who are unlawfully present or here on temporary status are citizens at birth.
Chief Justice John Roberts wrote the majority opinion.
Justices Clarence Thomas, Samuel Alito, and Neil Gorsuch dissented.
Trump has long opposed automatic birthright citizenship for children of illegal aliens. He has repeatedly argued that the 14th Amendment was intended to grant citizenship to the children of freed slaves after the Civil War, not to reward illegal entry or birth tourism.
On his first day back in office, Trump signed an executive order directing federal agencies to stop recognizing citizenship for children born to parents who are not U.S. citizens or lawful permanent residents.
Lower courts blocked the order, so it never went into effect, leading to the Supreme Court case.
Birthright citizenship incentivizes illegal immigration and allows foreign nationals, including wealthy Chinese birth tourists, to secure American citizenship for their children.
A new UK law could send parents to prison for up to five years — simply for telling their child that changing gender may not be the right choice.
Quick Take
The UK government published a draft Conversion Practices Bill in June 2026 that creates criminal offenses carrying up to five years in jail.
The bill does not explicitly protect parents, religious leaders, or teachers — it relies on a vague “high threshold” standard instead.
Activist groups, including the Good Law Project and Trans Solidarity Alliance, would be granted the power to bring private prosecutions under the bill.
Critics warn the law could have a chilling effect on parents, therapists, and clergy — even when their conversations are caring and exploratory, not abusive.
What the Bill Actually Says
The UK government published its Draft Conversion Practices Bill on June 25, 2026. The bill creates two new criminal offenses. The first targets anyone who carries out conversion practices that cause serious harm, alarm, or distress. The second targets anyone who promotes such practices against UK residents from outside England and Wales. The maximum penalty is five years in prison.[2] The government says the bill sets a “high threshold” for criminality and includes exemptions for legitimate healthcare.[1]
The problem is what the bill does not say. It never explicitly names parents, teachers, or religious leaders as protected groups.[2] Instead, it relies on the idea that courts will apply the “high threshold” standard fairly. Critics point out that this is an interpretive promise, not a legal guarantee written into the text of the law. Advisors working on the bill reportedly struggled to agree on whether exploratory conversations between parents and children could be swept up in the law.[1]
Who Gets to Prosecute — and Why That Matters
One of the most alarming details in the bill is who can bring charges. Under the draft law, private organizations — including the Good Law Project and the Trans Solidarity Alliance — would be granted the power to launch private prosecutions.[1][2] That means activist groups, not just police or government lawyers, could take parents or therapists to court. Critics argue this creates a serious risk of selective enforcement driven by ideology rather than evidence of actual abuse.
The bill also includes a clinical exemption for healthcare providers. But that exemption only applies if a practitioner does NOT fall “far below” professional standards — a gross-negligence test. The bill never defines what “far below” means.[5] That leaves doctors, counselors, and therapists without a clear line to follow. A clinician who advises a young patient to slow down and think carefully before pursuing gender transition could face prosecution if an activist group decides that advice crossed the line.
A Real Conflict With Existing School Policy
The timing creates a direct conflict with another UK policy. Schools in England were recently told that the “vast majority” of parents should be informed when their child questions their gender.[8] That guidance encourages parental involvement. Yet the new bill could expose those same parents to criminal charges if their response to that conversation is seen as trying to discourage a transition. The two policies pull in opposite directions, and the bill provides no clear guidance on how to resolve that tension.
While the UK draft Conversion Practices Bill risks criminalizing parents for non-affirming guidance on gender—potentially with jail and unlimited fines—Finnish child protection works differently. It can remove children on welfare grounds and has faced criticism for overreach or…
The UK is not alone in pursuing this kind of legislation. As of late 2023, 28 countries had enacted bans on conversion practices. Thirteen of those bans cover any person — not just medical professionals.[9] The debate over whether these laws protect children or punish parents has played out in nearly every country that has passed one. Eight years of political promises preceded this UK draft, with successive governments delaying action.[1] Now that the bill is finally published, the fight over its scope is just beginning. Parliament is expected to vote before the end of the 2027 session.[9]
