Far-left Texas Democrat Senate candidate James Talarico’s attempt to humiliate his opponent, Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton, over a seemingly racist post from another GOP statewide candidate backfired yesterday when his own bigoted words were tossed back in his face.

Over the weekend, Bo French, the Republican nominee for Texas Railroad Commissioner, sparked massive outrage among Democrats and his own party after posting a tweet criticizing the fact that students of color were celebrating the Texas Longhorns’ dramatic comeback win over the Ohio State Buckeyes on Saturday night.

The students in the picture appear to be of Asian origin.

Sensing a cheap political opportunity, Talarico eagerly shared a post from RINO Texas Senator John Cornyn that blasted French’s tweet and taunted Paxton over whether he would join the pile-on or “cower to extremists”.

Paxton fired back with an absolutely perfect response. He made it clear that not only did he deplore racism, but he also turned the tables on Talarico by pointing out his multiple anti-white statements over the past several years.

“I condemn racism in all its forms, including James Talarico saying white men are America’s top terror threat and that he prays to overcome his own ‘whiteness,’ whatever that means,” Paxton wrote. “Only one person in this race has a history of dividing Texans by race, and it’s James Talarico.”

“I will continue to focus on uniting our State and bringing together the broadest possible coalition to fight for Texas, our values, and our families,” he added.

New York Mayor Zohran Mamdani announced a lawsuit against the Trump Administration over a new rule that would allow the denial of green cards to immigrants who use welfare programs like food stamps, Medicaid, and public housing assistance. 

Several other liberal jurisdictions, including Chicago, San Francisco, and Seattle, are involved in the suit.

Mamdani, in a press conference on Monday, railed against the policy that “makes it possible for someone to be denied immigration status based on the likelihood of their need for public benefits.”

He thinks you should be able to come to this country from Africa, China, India, the Middle East, or South America and just feed off of native Americans’ tax dollars.

He says this creates “uncertainty and fear to isolate immigrant New Yorkers to force them to make an impossible choice between meeting their own basic needs and continuing to live in the city that they love”

“This is an undisguised effort to strip New Yorkers of the services they rely on, the public benefits they are entitled to,” the Communist mayor said, claiming that actual Americans must now fear that immigration officers will come after them if they use welfare programs.

“People could die,” he claimed.

“Hardworking families should not be forced to go without the support they need because they fear asking for assistance will get them deported,” New York Attorney General Letitia James said in a press release.

“This rule preys on that fear and counts on families forfeiting the food assistance, health care coverage, and other public benefits to which they are legally entitled. My office fought this exact policy once before and won, and we are leading the nation to ensure the Trump administration cannot inflict this harm on families again.”

Per the Wall Street Journal:

The federal rule, announced over the summer, would vastly expand the government’s ability to deny someone a green card or visa if an adjudicator finds they have used government benefits, or believes they could become dependent on such benefits in the future.

The Trump administration is introducing the rule—which takes effect Sept. 18—to discourage immigrants’ use of local public programs like food or healthcare assistance. Under the new framework, immigrants could also be denied a green card if they or a family member received state or federal financial aid to attend college.

In the lawsuit, the cities, including Chicago, San Francisco and Seattle, argue that the new rule goes against longstanding legal precedents that had limited the denial of a green card and visas to immigrants who are primarily dependent on government assistance to live. The new rule wrongfully broadens that definition to any immigrant receiving temporary or supplemental assistance, the lawsuit said.

Mamdani said Monday that the rule will not only discourage immigrant families but also U.S. citizens with ties to immigrant families from enrolling in programs they are eligible for. He said at a press conference that an estimated four million people across the country could unenroll from their healthcare as a result of the rule.

A North Carolina Democrat has sparked outrage after endorsing the mass genocide of anyone who supports President Trump and his policies:

As Breitbart reported, North Carolina Democrat state legislative candidate Shelly Headen posted a Facebook story last week from a vacation that shows her in front of ovens in a German concentration camp memorial.

Headen was visiting Dachau, where the memorial states that the Nazis murdered 41,500 Jewish people.

The post accompanying the story says, “Visiting Dauchau [sic] Concentration Camp in Germany… This is where Trump supporters belong.”

You read this right. Headen says every Trump fan deserves to be burned to death like over 6 million Jewish people during the Holocaust.

Two other facts make Headen’s endorsement of genocide incredibly ironic.

First, Headen says on her Facebook page that she is a CPA and business owner who is “running to restore human decency.”

Second, Headen has also faced credible domestic assault allegations of abusing her husband. As Breitbart notes, there are two apparent law-enforcement “incident/investigation reports” from 2024 indicating that she was the suspect in two incidents involving her husband.

In a statement on September 3, Headen said of the domestic violence allegations, “In 2024, during a high-stress time in my marriage, my husband and I had a couple of arguments that escalated. During one argument, my husband grabbed me, and I fell backward and hit my head.

“In my fear and confusion, I sought support and protection from those I trusted—I called 911.”

That description contradicts police reports, noting two separate law enforcement visits, not one, in both of which she is listed as the suspect and her husband the “potential victim.”

Headen faces incumbent Republican state Rep. John Blust this November in a suburban Guilford County district. She deserves a historic defeat, and anyone voting for her had better be forced to explain why.

Russian forces carried out another wave of attacks across Ukraine on September 11, striking Kyiv and its surrounding region, the eastern front near Kharkiv and Kramatorsk, and the southern front in Zaporizhzhia and Kherson. At least three civilians were killed in the Kyiv region and two more in Donetsk Oblast.

In Kyiv, a jet-powered drone struck a nine-story residential building in the Dniprovskyi district overnight, sparking a fire and injuring eight people, according to the Kyiv City Military Administration.

Russian forces also struck a gas station in the Obolonskyi district twice. The second strike hit emergency workers responding to the first. Two people were killed and up to eight were injured, including a rescuer, city officials said.

A consistent pattern in Russian attacks appears to be the targeting of gas stations. This is evident from the large number of destroyed gas stations along the highway from Kyiv to the front. Many are far outside urban or population centers, suggesting that they were deliberately targeted.

Another disturbing recurring tactic is the “double tap.” After the initial attack on a target in an urban area, there is often a long delay before a second strike kills emergency workers responding to the first.

A drone struck an office building in the Podilskyi district, with no casualties reported. The Gateway Pundit documented similar strikes on the capital during the previous night’s barrage.

In Kyiv Oblast, a woman was killed and private homes were damaged in the Vyshhorod district. A drone damaged a hangar in the Obukhiv district, with no injuries reported.

A warehouse fire in the Bucha district, also reported in the Kyiv area, began on September 10 and was still being extinguished the following morning. No casualties were reported. A civilian production facility in the Korosten district of Zhytomyr Oblast was also struck, with no casualties.

On the eastern front, Russian forces struck five settlements in Kharkiv Oblast, including the regional capital, with guided aerial bombs and several types of drones. A 45-year-old man was killed, while a 49-year-old man and a 76-year-old woman were injured in Zolochiv in the Bohodukhiv district, according to Kharkiv Oblast Military Administration head Oleg Syniehubov and the regional prosecutor’s office. Railway infrastructure was damaged in Barvinkove in the Izium district.

Dnipropetrovsk Oblast was struck more than 30 times across four districts, killing one person and injuring 19, including a child, regional authorities reported. Residential buildings, an enterprise, a food warehouse, garages, and vehicles were damaged in Dnipro. A 53-year-old woman was injured in the Nikopol district, while an agricultural enterprise was damaged in the Kamianske district.

In Kramatorsk, Donetsk Oblast, a city battered by recent strikes, Russian forces struck a residential area with a guided aerial bomb, damaging 21 homes and a vehicle and killing two men. One victim was a homeowner buried beneath the rubble of his destroyed house, Ukraine’s State Emergency Service reported.

Separately, a Russian drone struck an ambulance in the village of Yasnohirka, killing a medic and injuring two others.

On the southern front, Zaporizhzhia Oblast was struck 896 times across 59 settlements over 24 hours, including 26 airstrikes. Five people, including two children, were injured, and authorities received 83 reports of property damage, according to Oblast Military Administration head Ivan Fedorov.

In Kherson Oblast, Russian drone and artillery strikes hit 43 settlements and injured nine people, regional officials reported.

In Kirovohrad Oblast, a Russian drone strike damaged a farm in the Oleksandriia district, setting vehicles and dry grass on fire and injuring three people. Two of the injured were hospitalized, according to Oblast Military Administration head Andrii Raikovych.

In Mykolaiv Oblast, an FPV drone damaged an outbuilding in the Snihurivka community of the Bashtanka district. Four additional FPV drone strikes hit the Halytsynivka and Ochakiv communities in the Mykolaiv district, with no casualties reported.

In Odesa, a Russian drone strike on September 10 destroyed a warehouse used by a volunteer organization to store humanitarian aid and injured two people, according to Oblast Military Administration head Oleg Kiper. The attack echoed the destruction this outlet documented following an earlier Kyiv strike.

Ukraine’s General Staff reported that Russian forces lost approximately 1,490 personnel over the previous 24 hours, bringing the cumulative losses estimated by the General Staff to more than 1.5 million since the February 2022 invasion. Ukrainian military losses for the period were not disclosed.

Russia’s Defense Ministry does not publish figures for its own military deaths. It has not issued a comprehensive official casualty count since the war began. Its last isolated admission came in January 2023, when it acknowledged that 89 Russian personnel had been killed in Makiivka. Its daily and weekly bulletins report only claimed Ukrainian losses, not Russia’s own.

On the diplomatic front, the European Commission approved a €6.1 billion ($7.1 billion) tranche from the European Union’s €90 billion Ukraine Support Loan on September 11. The funds will be used to purchase drones and PAC-3 interceptor missiles for Ukraine’s Patriot air defense systems.

European Commissioner for Defense Andrius Kubilius said the funding does not guarantee immediate delivery because of a global shortage of Patriot interceptors. Ukraine anticipates renewed Russian strikes on its energy grid during the winter.

Ukraine’s Agriculture Ministry reported that the country had exported 630,000 tons of agricultural products through alternative road, rail, and Danube River routes since the beginning of September. The volume represented roughly 40 percent of full logistics capacity, up from 33 percent in August, Agriculture Minister Taras Vysotskyi said. Russia continues to blockade Black Sea shipping lanes.

President Donald Trump said that the U.S. would consider a permanent interest in Iran’s oil industry during his Sunday remarks to the press in Ireland.

 “We’ll ultimately get out unless we decide to stay and keep the oil, like Venezuela,” Trump told reporters. He also repeated the assertion that the Iran War would end after the American midterm elections, after which “oil prices will come tumbling down.” 

Trump also reiterated his intention to avoid intervening in the conflict between Saudi Arabia and Yemen’s Houthis, who made significant territorial gains against the internationally recognized Yemeni government last week, increasing their capacity to threaten Red Sea shipping and roil energy markets.

“Well, I have had a call with MBS. He’s a good friend of mine and, uh, it’s gonna, I can just say everything’s gonna work out fine and dandy,” said Trump. “It’s gonna be very good. So you don’t get involved in these things.”

Trump said in a Tuesday morning social media post that he was open to the “concept” of negotiating with “the failing Nation of Iran.”

A planned Monday meeting about the future of the Strait of Hormuz between the Gulf nations and Iran was postponed. Oman’s Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr Al-Busaidi said the meeting was called off in the interest of “consensus” among the Gulf nations. A spokesman for the Iranian Foreign Ministry said Saudi Arabia had requested the postponement.

Brent crude opened Monday at $108 per barrel. AAA reported a national average price of $4.32 per gallon of regular gas and a new all-time record of $6.23 for a gallon of diesel.

Every other day it seems that there’s a drone scare in Europe, part of a relentless scaremongering campaign against the mean Russians.

Needless to say, it is often found that the military drones straying into Finland, Romania, Estonia and Lithuania are actually Ukrainian – and sometimes there aren’t any drones at all.

Yesterday (13), the fear of the Ukraine war spilling into NATO territory has led to an emergency phone alert issued and airport closed in Lithuania, with military fighter jets rushing to intercept a flock of feathery, harmless birds.

Lithuanians overreacting to ‘drones’ is hardly a new event.

“Lithuania said that a perceived drone sighting in its airspace earlier on Sunday that prompted authorities to close Vilnius airport and NATO to summon at least one fighter jet, turned out to be a flock of birds.

The air alert was lifted and the airport reopened within 38 minutes, after the NATO jet made a visual identification, Lithuania’s National Crisis Management Centre said.”

It turns out that, to the eagle-eyed radar operators in the Baltic country, ‘marks left by birds and drones can be similar’.

“A jet had been summoned from Siauliai in northern Lithuania, the center said, where the Italian air force is currently based as part of the NATO Baltic Air Defense mission.”

“Following the suspected drone sighting, Lithuania on Sunday closed Vilnius International Airport. The alert was lifted and the airport reopened within 38 minutes, after the NATO jet made a visual identification.

[…] The ​site of the attack was 800m (less than a mile) from ‌the ⁠Polish border, and the border crossing was temporarily closed during the attack, a Polish border guard spokeswoman told Reuters news agency.

[…] Earlier this week, a flight scheduled to carry Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy from Moldova to Norway was delayed when authorities closed Moldova’s airspace because of a drone incursion, a government spokesperson said.”

House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan (R-OH) said last week that he has no plans to return to leadership of either the House Judiciary or Oversight Committees.

Jordan will be termed out as the top Republican on Judiciary after serving as Ranking Member from March 2020 until he took over as Chairman in January 2023, when Republicans took back control of the House.

Unlike other Republicans, he does not intend to seek a waiver of the three-term limit for committee leaders.

Previously served as Ranking Member on the Oversight Committee for one year starting in 2019 and ending when he took the leadership role on Judiciary. He could serve at least two more terms as chairman or ranking member of Oversight, but doesn’t plan to, he said.

In an interview with Politico last week during the RNC midterm convention in Dallas, Jordan agreed that he’s term-limited from his role on the Judiciary Committee.

When asked if he would instead return to Oversight, Jordan said, “No, I don’t plan to do that. There’s other people who are very interested in Oversight.”

This comes as at least five Republican lawmakers are likely contenders for Oversight leadership, including Brandon Gill (R-TX) and Tim Burchett (R-TN), according to Punchbowl News.

“I just want to help— I just want us to win,” Jordan said of his decision not to seek a leadership role.

He noted that he’s still running for office and “going to, you know, go represent the people of the fourth district,” when asked if he would serve in Congress without a leadership role.

Asked if he would challenge Speaker Mike Johnson for Speaker in the event that Republicans retain control of the House, Jordan said, “No, I’m focused on winning, plain and simple, focus on winning the majority.”

He then joked that he had “three more interviews” when asked about his next move.

The US Air Force colonel who spent roughly 48 hours in Iran after he and his crewmate were shot down in their F-15E Strike Eagle spoke out for the first time in an interview with CBS’s 60 Minutes, where he revealed the horrifying details of his “miracle” survival. 

CBS also released declassified footage from the rescue operation to save the pilots.

The pilots, identified by their call signs Dude 44 Alpha and Dude 44 Bravo, became the subject of an intense rescue mission and worldwide news story on April 3. Alpha, who returned to the Air Force, declined to speak to 60 Minutes, citing security concerns, but provided the following statement:

“I am still in awe of the professionalism and tactical prowess of the Combat Search and Rescue specialists and the Joint Force who executed the rescue missions of me and DUDE 44 Bravo, both those in theater and behind the scenes. Words cannot capture how thankful my family and I are and how proud I am to serve alongside each and every one of them.”

During the nighttime mission targeting drone and missile sites in Iran, early in the conflict, the pilots were hit by an Iranian shoulder-fired missile, which felt like “getting hit by a freight train,” Dude 44 Bravo said in the interview with CBS’s Norah O’Donnell. “Without a shadow of a doubt, it was evident that we’d been impacted by an Iranian weapon when it happened.” He added, “It was evident that that wasn’t possible, and soon thereafter we ejected and found ourselves floating over the heart of Iran.”

It was then that Bravo learned his ejection seat had been damaged in the strike, though he was able to eject. He thanked the airmen for the “incredible job” that led the seat to “outperform the design specifications,” which he says saved his life. However, Bravo then revealed that his parachute was also damaged, and when he looked up while free-falling, he “saw no parachute.”

“It was the most terrifying thing I’ve ever seen,” he said of the moment. “So I paused right then, and I prayed, ‘Lord, Your will be done. But if I’m getting through this, I need help.’” Bravo says he hit the ground at “somewhere between 70 and 100 miles an hour,” breaking his back, arm, and shoulder. He described his survival as a “modern-day miracle” and a “testament to God’s provision in my life to bring me through that moment in a way that didn’t prevent injuries, but prevented any catastrophic injuries that would have affected my ability to survive.” He continued, “I’m grateful eternally for knowing that He was there with me.”

“Because you don’t see any other explanation for how you survived,” O’Donnell responded. Bravo fired back, “I don’t think there can be, and I think the facts around my survival, the facts proven out by my medical records, the facts proven out by the equipment that was still there, I think they all determine that that is true.”

Despite his injuries, Bravo walked O’Donnell through his training and how he sought to find higher ground “to give me the best chance of survival” while Iranian forces began a manhunt and placed a bounty on his head in the hours following the crash. “I had communication equipment with me, but I did not immediately take the opportunity to communicate. I thought the priority should be getting away from that spot before someone else started showing up to look for me,” he explained.

Despite breaking his back and other bones, Bravo climbed 7,000 feet up the mountains to evade capture. When asked how he did it, he said, “Never let a lack of motivation put you on Iranian TV.”

“I did it because of a warrior ethos that we talk about. My airmen that we led in theater had months of hearing about the importance of warrior ethos and how we are going to apply it, and I saw them apply that in the lead-up to the conflict, during the conflict, night after night, with unprecedented threats against them, and yet they’re doing their job at a way that no one would have thought possible,” Bravo continued. “I owed it to them to show the same warrior ethos in my situation and walk the same walk that I’ve been talking for months.”

After making it up the ridge with only “a very minimal amount of water” and a few other tools in his survival kit, he was finally able to attempt communication with friendly forces, which would take more than a day to locate him.

As The Gateway Pundit previously reported, the F-15E was shot down over Iran on April 3. A search and rescue operation quickly began to find the two pilots, one of whom spent roughly two days in enemy territory, hiding from Iranian fighters.

After a nearly 48-hour search and rescue effort, the pilot of a downed F-15E Strike Eagle was rescued from inside Iran.

One crew member was initially rescued on Friday after the crash, US officials say.

“WE GOT HIM!” President Trump announced following the rescue, describing the mission as “one of the most daring Search and Rescue Operations in U.S. History.”

“This brave Warrior was behind enemy lines in the treacherous mountains of Iran, being hunted down by our enemies, who were getting closer and closer by the hour, but was never truly alone because his Commander in Chief, Secretary of War, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, and fellow Warfighters were monitoring his location 24 hours a day, and diligently planning for his rescue,” Trump said.

It was later revealed that the US military and Central Intelligence Agency used “Ghost Murmer” technology to trace the electromagnetic fingerprint of the pilot’s heartbeat and locate him in the massive desert.

A Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reporter is facing intense backlash after appearing to minimize the terrifying plane crash involving Republican Wisconsin gubernatorial nominee Tom Tiffany.

Hope Karnopp, a politics and breaking-news reporter for the Journal Sentinel, posted a map from the Marathon County Sheriff’s Office showing the approximate location where Tiffany’s plane made an emergency landing in Lake Wausau.

Karnopp highlighted information stating that Lake Wausau has a maximum depth of 30 feet and an average depth of approximately seven feet.

When questioned about using the word “only” to describe the lake’s maximum depth, Karnopp responded that she was trying “to explain the gravity of the situation,” adding that “30 feet doesn’t seem like much to me.”

After massive outrage erupted online over her blatant disregard for the gravity of a plane crash, Karnopp deleted the original post and attempted to walk back her statements with a classic media cover-up.

“I posted tweets earlier that were misunderstood. I was attempting to point out that the depth of the lake could have caused the plane to hit rocks, creating an even more dangerous situation. I did not mean to imply the depth made the landing less serious. It was the opposite.”

As The Gateway Pundit reported earlier Sunday, Tiffany was returning from the La Crosse County Lincoln Day Dinner when the Beechcraft K35 Bonanza lost power on approach to Wausau Downtown Airport. Pilot Leonard E. Boltz, 73, put the aircraft into Lake Wausau.

Tiffany and Boltz called 911 at 8:49 p.m. Saturday as the plane began to submerge, got out, and swam to shallower water. A Wausau Fire Department airboat pulled them off the lake at 9:05 p.m. Tiffany needed 12 stitches above his right eye. Boltz needed four. Both were treated at Aspirus Wausau Hospital and released.

Tiffany wrote on X:

“After landing, we called 911. As the plane began to submerge, we exited the aircraft and swam to a shallow area, where we waited until emergency responders reached us by boat. … God was watching over us tonight.”

At a Sunday press conference he became emotional, credited the pilot for raising the landing gear so the plane would not cartwheel, and vowed to “finish the job” of running for governor. The FAA and NTSB are investigating a mechanical problem. The wreckage was still in the lake Sunday.

Hours after the deleted tweets, Karnopp’s name appeared on the Journal Sentinel’s own write-up of the same crash: “Tom Tiffany recounts harrowing plane emergency, swim to safety in Wausau,” by David Clarey and Hope Karnopp. On the newspaper’s page it is “harrowing.” On her personal account it was “only 30 feet.”

A Florida woman is facing a first-degree felony charge after investigators said a medical examiner determined that a 3-month-old baby suffered multiple head injuries consistent with being struck by her large ring, not from co-sleeping.

Jessica Vlasac, 42, of Lakeland, was arrested on September 10 and charged with aggravated child abuse resulting in death, according to the Polk County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies were called to Vlasac’s home shortly before midnight on September 6 after receiving a report that the infant was unresponsive. The baby was taken to Orlando Health Medical in Lakeland, where he was pronounced dead. Authorities observed bruising and an abrasion on his head.

According to the arrest affidavit, Vlasac told investigators that she had fallen asleep in bed with the baby. She allegedly said that she woke up and found the child face down, cold, and unresponsive.

“I think I killed our son,” Vlasac reportedly told deputies, claiming she believed it happened while she was asleep.

The case took a disturbing turn after the autopsy.

Medical Examiner Dr. Stephen Nelson reportedly found subdural hemorrhaging around the baby’s skull and three separate impact injuries on the top of his forehead. One L-shaped injury measured approximately 1.7 centimeters by 1 centimeter and appeared consistent with contact from a square-like object.

Detectives later interviewed Vlasac again and observed that she was wearing a large, diamond-like ring with a square-shaped design. Investigators obtained a search warrant for the ring and Vlasac’s electronic devices.

During the search, Vlasac allegedly asked detectives whether the ring was what killed the baby.

Dr. Nelson later examined the confiscated ring and determined that the infant’s injuries were consistent with being struck by it as part of the impact injuries, according to the sheriff’s office. Investigators also said there was no evidence that co-sleeping caused the child’s death.

The affidavit also details messages allegedly sent by Vlasac to the baby’s father on the night of the incident. The father told detectives that Vlasac had purchased alcoholic shots earlier that day and later sent messages claiming that she had killed the infant. Some messages had reportedly been deleted.

The father also alleged that Vlasac later asked him not to show the messages to investigators.

Other members of the household told deputies they assumed Vlasac and the infant were sleeping and did not report seeing anything suspicious before hearing her scream.

Vlasac was booked into the Polk County Jail. The investigation remains ongoing.
