One Lone Juror Wouldn’t Let Lindsay Clancy Walk After She Strangled Her Three Kids to Death, Now His Family Can’t Leave the House

Lindsay Clancy

The family of the lone holdout juror in the Lindsay Clancy murder trial says their lives have been turned upside down since the case ended in a mistrial.

The family says they didn’t even know he was serving on the high-profile jury, but now they are being hounded so badly they cannot leave the house.

The juror’s brother told the New York Post that strangers have been leaving notes at his mother’s house and that reporters and people obsessed with the case will not leave them alone.

“My family cannot leave the house,” he said. “They are leaving notes at my mother’s house. They won’t leave us alone, and we don’t know anything.”

“People have been calling me like crazy. It’s crazy.”

The family is devoutly Catholic Haitian immigrants, but the brother said that religion had nothing to do with the decision.

“I don’t think religion had anything to do with it,” he said. “He looked at the case, and he made the call.”

The brother added, “His choice was good for some people, but not good for other people.”

WATCH:

Lindsay Clancy, a 36-year-old former nurse from Duxbury, Massachusetts, admitted she strangled her children Cora, 5, Dawson, 3, and 8-month-old Callan with exercise bands in the basement of the family home on January 24, 2023, after sending her husband Patrick out for takeout.

Two of the children were dead when he returned.

The baby died three days later.

Clancy jumped from a window and was left paralyzed from the waist down.

Prosecutors charged her with three counts of first-degree murder, but the defense, and a large movement of feminists, argued she was dealing with postpartum psychosis and was not criminally responsible.

After more than 38 hours of deliberations over seven days, the jury deadlocked 11-1.

Eleven jurors, nine women and two men, wanted to find her not guilty by reason of lack of criminal responsibility.

One man would not go along.

Judge William Sullivan declared a mistrial on September 4.

Clancy’s lawyer, Kevin Reddington, asked the judge to remove the holdout, claiming he was not following the law on reasonable doubt. The judge refused.

Several of the other jurors went public almost immediately. Foreperson Roni Carlson said the holdout admitted he had reasonable doubt, then refused to sign a not-guilty-by-reason-of-insanity verdict.

Juror Paula Devlin called him “very arrogant” and said he would not listen.

Soon, the media had figured out his identity and went on what appeared to be a campaign to make sure that nobody dares to try to hold her accountable if there is another trial.

NBC10 Boston published a report last week about dismissed domestic violence allegations against the juror from 2021, an active restraining order obtained by a teenage nephew, and an eviction case.

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis called the report a smear and offered him asylum.

“A man objected to allowing a woman to kill her three young kids and get away with it, so NBC is trying to smear that juror, whose identity should be protected,” DeSantis wrote. “Another low for legacy media. If the juror is being harassed, Florida will provide asylum — I’m sure he’d be welcomed and appreciated.”

A GiveSendGo campaign titled “Stand With the Juror,” organized by Tom Hennessey, has raised substantial money for the man.

As of Tuesday, the page showed more than $191,000 raised toward a $250,000 goal for security, lawyers, and lost work.

The campaign page states that the juror “looked at what she did, not the brand of Zoloft,” and that the defense tried to have him thrown off the panel.

“Now she can be tried again for killing her children instead of getting a standing ovation for her symptoms,” it says.

Judge Sullivan has now sealed the jurors’ identities indefinitely, citing a risk of immediate and irreparable injury and noting that at least one juror asked for continued privacy.

Clancy is due back in Plymouth Superior Court on September 29, when the defense is expected to press a motion to dismiss.

Plymouth County District Attorney Timothy Cruz has not announced whether he will retry Clancy on first-degree murder.

Carnegie Mellon University Associate Professor Under Fire for Distrubing Anti-White Social Media Posts

Uju Anya/Image: Via video screenshot.

Uju Anya, an associate professor of second language acquisition at Carnegie Mellon University, is under fire for social media posts attacking White people, and this isn’t the first time.

The Gateway Pundit reported that Anya took to social media to also suggest that the attempted assassination of President Trump was a ” staged ” shooting and the shooter was part of a “stupid show.”

Anya also attacked Charlie Kirk following his murder.

According to Newsweek:

One of the latest flashpoints involves Uju Anya, an associate professor at Carnegie Mellon University, who referred to Kirk as a “s***bag” and said she hoped he would “rot in p***” while participating in online “Kirkiversary” posts marking the anniversary of the conservative commentator’s death.

As criticism mounted, users also resurfaced a number of Anya’s older posts, including a 2021 exchange in which she allegedly told another user, “Die first, white man,” as well as earlier comments celebrating the death of conservative radio host Rush Limbaugh.

The recent controversy she has found herself in is a video in which she declares, “These f*cking racist white supremacist pedophile assh*les will not win.”

Watch:

Anya did not seem concerned that anything would happen to her after her ugly tirades.  She shared on X, “Actually, CMU already knows I’m racist and think White people should die. They knew this before hiring me.”

The University may not be as amenable to her hateful rhetoric as she thinks.  They shared, “Dr. Uju Anya is currently on voluntary professional leave from the university and is not teaching courses on our campus this academic year. We are deeply concerned by recent hostile and threatening social media posts by Dr. Anya and are reviewing this matter closely.”

Libs of TikTok then shared a more comprehensive statement from the University:

Dear Members of the CMU Community: We are writing to share details of a situation that goes to the heart of faculty responsibility, academic standards and the trust that is foundational to our institutional mission. On Friday, Sept. 11, we became aware of hostile and threatening social media posts by Dr. Uju Anya, a faculty member in the department of Languages, Cultures & Applied Linguistics (LCAL) in our Dietrich College of Humanities and Social Sciences. Dr. Anya is on voluntary professional leave through summer 2027 and is not teaching classes for CMU this academic year.

In her social media posts, Dr. Anya repeatedly and prominently invoked her connection to Carnegie Mellon and implied support from university colleagues, blurring the line between personal expression and academic authority. In her posts, she used expletives, racial slurs and derogatory language that demeaned, dehumanized and intimidated.

Carnegie Mellon University is a place where rigorous inquiry, freedom of expression and mutual respect must coexist. We take that responsibility seriously and we strongly reject language that is hateful and disparages or calls for the harm of others. Such rhetoric is inconsistent with the dignity, respect and responsibility that we expect from one another. Dr. Anya’s choice of language violates our shared community standards and distracts from the seriousness and significance of CMU’s scholarship in the humanities and social sciences.

This weekend, we met with Dietrich College leadership, including Dean Cassidy Sugimoto, and LCAL faculty as well as Faculty Senate leadership. In these discussions, Interim Department Head Adam van Compernolle heard from colleagues, who described “a sense of fear for our personal safety on and off campus.” These colleagues also spoke of being doxxed and receiving an influx of threatening messages that leave….

This weekend, we met with Dietrich College leadership, including Dean Cassidy Sugimoto, and LCAL faculty as well as Faculty Senate leadership. In these discussions, Interim Department Head Adam van Compernolle heard from colleagues, who described “a sense of fear for our personal safety on and off campus.” These colleagues also spoke of being doxxed and receiving an influx of threatening messages that leave them feeling distressed and unsafe. As always, the safety and well-being of the university community is a top priority. CMU Police continue to monitor the situation closely, and they have not identified any credible
threats to campus.

In an email to the Dietrich College community, Dean Cassidy Sugimoto and von Comperolle referenced LCAL’s policy on Community Responsibilities, adopted by department vote in 2024, which outlines expectations for how members of the department should communicate, especially in cases of differences of opinion. To cite the policy directly, the department “does not tolerate harassment, discrimination or disrespect in any form. This applies equally to our on-campus communications as well as to our personal off-campus communications where there is a reasonable perception or expectation that we are acting as representatives of LCAL, Dietrich College, and/or Carnegie Mellon
University.”

While university policy prohibits us from sharing information about personnel matters, we are taking swift action in accordance with our processes. We continue to prioritize support for impacted community
members, including our students.

We recognize freedom of expression and academic freedom as essential to our mission. These freedoms allow for ideas to be debated, tested and challenged. At the same time, these freedoms do not relieve any member of our community from their responsibility to support a respectful, safe and welcoming campus environment. Achieving and maintaining this balance is both challenging and the daily work of a university community.

Even in the midst of a toxic and divisive online culture, we must hold Carnegie Mellon University to a higher standard – one that rejects intimidation and hate in all forms.

Racist Left Will Have a Meltdown: Lone Holdout in Lindsay Clancy Trial Reportedly a Haitian Immigrant, and a Christian, Who Came to America as a Child

The lone holdout juror who refused to let admitted child killer Lindsay Clancy walk free on an insanity defense has reportedly been revealed as a Haitian immigrant who came to the United States as a child.

That fact, confirmed Tuesday by his own brother in an exclusive interview with the New York Post, is going to send the same media and activist chorus that spent a week smearing him into another round of cognitive dissonance.

According to The New York Post, “The brother said that the devoutly Catholic Haitian immigrant clan has been relentlessly hounded by true-crime gawkers and reporters since the juror refused to agree with the 11 others and find Clancy not guilty of murder by reason of insanity after she killed her three kids.”

“He looked at the case, and he made the call,” the brother said.

He also revealed that the family never knew the man was serving on the jury and has been subjected to relentless harassment since the mistrial.

“My family cannot leave the house,” he said.

TB Daily News reported that the juror is from a Haitian immigrant family and came to the United States when he was five years old.

According to the news outlet:

“[redacted] is a Haitian immigrant who moved here when he was 5. According to probate court documents, [redacted] did not want his ex-wife to be able to obtain a passport for their daughter, because he feared she would leave with the baby to go to Haiti, [‘which is presently unstable and unsafe.’]”

His father [redacted] was a hard working Haitian immigrant who came to this country, worked hard as a carpenter, and provided a life for his 5 children.”

As The Gateway Pundit has reported for days, that one man was immediately painted as “arrogant,” unwilling to “get over” the fact that she “viciously killed her children,” and the obstacle to a predetermined outcome.

Female jurors went on Boston television to complain. Defense attorney Kevin Reddington tried to have him removed. The judge declared a mistrial. Then the pile-on began.

CBS’s Gayle King was visibly stunned when a fellow juror revealed the holdout was a Black man, the only person of color on a panel that was otherwise White. “A Black man is a holdout juror?” King asked. “Well, I have to sit with that for just a second.” The implication was obvious: this was not the demographic they had scripted for the villain.

The Left is always “pro-immigrant” until the immigrant will not recite the approved line. They love BLM until a Black man looks at Cora, 5, Dawson, 3, and 8-month-old Callan and declines to check the “not criminally responsible” box.

They celebrate Haitian migrants when it is useful for open-border politics. They hound a Haitian immigrant family when one of their own stands between a child killer and an easy acquittal.

WATCH: Kash Patel Mic-Drops on Unhinged Democrat Senator with a Damning Observation After Leftist Badgers Him During Fiery Hearing

FBI Director Kash Patel roasted an unhinged Senator Peter Welch (D-VT) during a Senate hearing on Tuesday. Credit; C-SPAN 3 screenshot

FBI Director Kash Patel delivered an epic mic-drop moment on Vermont’s other leftist senator during a fiery Senate hearing today.

As The Hill reported, Pate testified before the Senate Judiciary Committee for an oversight hearing on Tuesday morning. Ahead of the meeting, Patel released a letter sent to panel chair Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) to explain certain FBI expenditures that have drawn attention.

Patel then spent his time touting the historic successes of his department, including a record drop in violent crime rates, and combating Democrats’ attempts to embarrass him to get television time.

At one point during the hearing, Senator Peter Welch (D-VT) consistently badgered Patel over the non-existent threat of government interference in the American people’s ability to cast votes in the upcoming election, and for ‘pandering to President Trump.

Patel made clear he had no intention of playing along with Welch’s “charade of lies” and finally got tired of his political grandstanding. After Welch whined over Trump “rigging” the November elections, Patel mic-dropped him with a devastating observation.

Patel noted that the Vermont Senator’s wealth had increased by a whopping 4,000% since being elected in 2022, marveling at this “magic act.”

Welch, of course, did not answer.

How could it not be anything but legalized theft or insider trading, likely via stocks?

WATCH:

WELCH: Do you pledge that you will not interfere with the will of the American people when they go to the polls in November?

PATEL: I pledge unequivocally that I will not participate in your charade of lies.

WELCH: Why are you being such a panderer to President Trump, who still claims that he won the 2020 election and who says the only Democrats can win in 2026 is if they cheat? Do you believe that?

PATEL: What I believe in is the rule of law…

WELCH: The rule of law, Mr. President, saying in advance…

PATEL: Are you done with your campaign ad?

WELCH: It’s been rigged!

PATEL: By the way, I want to know how your wealth increased 4,000% since you became a United States Senator.

That’s a magic act all Americans should be able to know.

Why Ceding Ukrainian Territory Will Not Bring Peace

Despite suggestions to the contrary, Ukraine ceding territory to Russia is unlikely to bring lasting peace.

As negotiations continue over ending the war in Ukraine, some experts and pundits argue that Kyiv should cede Russian-occupied territory in exchange for peace. However, historical precedents, Russia’s current territorial demands, and Putin’s own statements and actions suggest that such concessions would not end the conflict.

The first precedent is the 1938 Munich Agreement. Britain and France allowed Hitler to annex the Sudetenland region of Czechoslovakia in exchange for his pledge to seek no further territorial expansion. Hitler annexed the rest of Czechoslovakia five months later and invaded Poland the following September.

The second is Russia’s 2014 annexation of Crimea. Analysts at the Atlantic Council have argued that the West’s limited response, which consisted of sanctions without military support for Ukraine, convinced Putin that the West lacked the resolve to confront him and enabled the 2022 full-scale invasion.

The second precedent is the postwar occupation of Europe. Zones occupied by the U.S.-led Western Allies became liberal democracies and, aided by the Marshall Plan, developed into some of the world’s wealthiest economies. These countries established their own independent, elected governments within months of the war’s end. The Allies retained authority over some government decisions until full sovereignty was restored. This took about two years for Italy, seven years for Japan, and 10 years for West Germany and Austria.

By contrast, zones occupied by the Soviet Union became one-party dictatorships that suppressed civil liberties and lagged economically for more than four decades.

Per capita income in Russia is substantially lower than in the West. Germany’s 2025 GDP per capita was about $60,440, while Russia’s was about $17,547. For comparison, the U.S. figure that year was about $89,599. Consequently, Russia’s GDP per capita was roughly 29 percent of Germany’s and 20 percent of the U.S. figure.

Moscow, Russia’s richest city, had a gross regional domestic product per capita of about $32,000 in 2022, rising to roughly $42,000 by 2024. St. Petersburg, the country’s second-richest city, had a GRDP per capita of about $30,000 in 2022. These figures were several times the Russian national average but still substantially lower than those of Germany and the United States.

Outside these two cities, GRDP per capita in regions such as Belgorod, Vologda, and Samara ranges from $8,000 to $15,000. Russia’s poorest regions, including Ingushetia and other North Caucasus republics, have a GRDP per capita of roughly $2,000 to $3,000.

By comparison, the average GDP per capita across Latin America and the Caribbean was about $9,200 in 2024. Most Russian regions outside Moscow and St. Petersburg fall within a comparable or slightly higher range, while Russia’s poorest regions fall well below it.

Another reason to reject the notion that forcing Ukraine to cede territory will bring peace is that Russia’s positions in the 2025–2026 peace talks demand territory beyond what its forces control.

According to the Observer Research Foundation, Russia’s terms require Ukraine to withdraw entirely from Donetsk, Luhansk, Kherson, and Zaporizhzhia oblasts. This includes roughly one-quarter of Donetsk that remains under Ukrainian control.

In May 2025, Russia’s Foreign Ministry stated that it would “never allow” Ukraine to be restored within its internationally recognized 1991 borders. In his 2021 essay, “On the Historical Unity of Russians and Ukrainians,” Putin wrote that Ukraine has no genuine independent statehood and that Ukrainian sovereignty “is possible only in partnership with Russia.”

In an April 2005 address to the Russian Federal Assembly, Putin called the collapse of the Soviet Union “the greatest geopolitical catastrophe of the century.”

During a February 22, 2022 meeting with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, Putin said: “We predicted speculation that Russia plans to restore [its] empire within imperial borders. This absolutely does not correspond with reality.” The meeting occurred one day after Putin ordered troops into eastern Ukraine and two days before the full-scale invasion.

Putin did not explain why the speculation was wrong. His statement was a denial, not an argument. In the same remarks, he said Russia had “recognized the new geopolitical realities” following the Soviet collapse and worked with “all independent countries in the post-Soviet space.” He separately said Ukraine was treated as an exception because it “is being used by third countries to create threats towards Russia.”

Neither statement directly addresses the claim that Russia seeks to restore its empire. The first describes Russia’s general posture toward other former Soviet states but provides no evidence regarding Ukraine. The second explains why Russia treated Ukraine differently without explaining why that treatment does not constitute imperial restoration.

Furthermore, Putin’s actions do not dispel speculation that he will continue beyond eastern Ukraine or even beyond Ukraine itself. Consequently, the argument that Ukraine can end the war by ceding territory does not hold up.

FBI Agent Pushed to Criminally Investigate Elon Musk For Asking About Government Employees’ Weekly Productivity

Senator Grassley on Tuesday released an email revealing a special FBI Agent tried to open a criminal investigation into Elon Musk for asking about government employees’ weekly productivity.

Last year, Elon Musk, through DOGE, asked federal employees to list “five things” they accomplished during the week.

The email was blasted out to federal employees with the subject line, “What did you do last week?”

Musk received intense backlash for asking federal employees to list their weekly accomplishments.

Elon Musk and the OPM later clarified that it was voluntary to respond to DOGE’s “five things” email and that a nonresponse would not trigger in a termination.

Then-Special Agent Kevin Gounaud urged FBI agents to investigate Elon Musk and said the billionaire violated information security policies.

Gounaud also said that Elon Musk profited off of his “five things” email by promoting it on X.

Grassley released other records on Tuesday ahead of a Committee hearing with FBI Director Kash Patel.

WATCH LIVE: Attorney General Todd Blanche Holds White House Press Briefing in the Rose Garden – 2 PM ET

Attorney General Todd Blanche will host a White House press briefing this afternoon in the Rose Garden, rather than the typical briefing room.

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt announced last month that she would end her year-and-a-half tenure with the White House after welcoming her second child into the world. President Trump said she would continue to serve as one of his “top outside advisors.”

President Trump has not said who will replace Leavitt as press secretary, but signaled to reporters over the weekend that he has someone in mind. Until he makes a decision, though, Trump says that members of his administration will continue to fill in as press secretary and field questions from reporters.

“We have a lot of people that want it, many people want it, many people have been written about, as you know, but many people want it,” Trump said, noting that he “may have” developed a short list over the weekend.

“You know what we’re going to do for a little while? We’re going to use the secretaries, you know, Marco, and maybe JD just did it. He did a great job, but we’re going to use Scott [Bessent], we’re going to use Howard [Lutnik]. We’re going to use a lot of our secretaries. Linda McMahon is so great. And we’ll do it for a little while, but ultimately, I’ll pick somebody.”

WATCH:

Blanche’s press briefing in the Rose Garden comes as subpoenaes fly in the Russiagate probe in South Florida, involving former FBI Director James Comey and Former CIA Director John Brennan.

Lead prosecutor in the case, Joe DiGenova, resigned last week after five months at the Justice Department, but the case is still moving forward. As The Gateway Pundit reported on Monday, John Brennan has been subpoenaed to testify next month before a grand jury in the probe.

John Brennan Subpoenaed to Testify in Spygate Probe

Also, yesterday, the Supreme Court ruled against the Trump Administration’s new US Postal Service rule that would allow the Postal Service to refuse to deliver ballots to ineligible voters.

Blanche reportedly said on Monday that the federal government is still looking at “multiple states” in its ongoing review of election practices, and “hundreds of open investigations” are underway into illegal voting.

The press briefing is scheduled to begin at 2 pm ET.

Disgraced RINO Thomas Massie Files Eight Articles of Impeachment Against War Secretary Pete Hegseth (VIDEO)

Rep. Thomas Massie (RINO-KY) announces articles of impeachment against War Secretary Pete Hegseth. Credit: C-SPAN screenshot

Disgraced Rep. Thomas Massie (RINO-KY) has determined that his one last grandstanding move will be an attempt to impeach War Secretary Pete Hegseth on bogus charges and perhaps force a vote on the matter.

On Tuesday, Massie announced a whopping EIGHT articles of impeachment against Hegseth. The War Secretary stands accused of violating the War Powers Act of 1973 on three occasions, ignoring civilian casualties, extrajudicial killings, suppressing free speech, kidnapping a sovereign foreign leader, and waging “an unlawful war in Yemen.”

These charges focus specifically on the ongoing war in Iran, the bombing of drug trafficking boats in the Caribbean, Hegseth “retaliating” against disgraced Senator Mark Kelly (D-AZ), the successful capture of former Venezuelan tyrant Nicholas Maduro, and the aforementioned Yemen War.

Here is the list:

Credit:

Watch Massie’s announcement on the House floor:

Axios reports that the vote will have to happen by Thursday unless House GOP leadership cancels the week early.

Massie, who lost his House primary to Trump-endorsed Ed Gallrein back in May, has shown signs that he is not done with the political scene.

As The Gateway Pundit reported, Massie has already filed with the FEC to run for political office in 2028. He claims the filing keeps his political operation alive while he decides what comes next.

This includes a presidential run. Massie notably refused to rule one out during an interview on “Meet The Press” a week following his primary loss.

One would think he would seek the Libertarian Party’s nomination, since he has zero chance in a GOP primary.

This is not the first attempt to impeach Hegseth.

As Newsweek notes, Rep. Yassamin Ansari (D-AZ) introduced articles of impeachment back in April against Hegseth over the U.S. war in Iran. A dozen Democrats signed on as cosponsors of the six articles.

Rep. Shri Thanedar (D-MI) attempted to impeach Hegseth in December 2025 on charges of “Murder and Conspiracy to Murder” and “Reckless and Unlawful Mishandling of Classified Information.”

While making the announcement, he stumbled over English in an embarrassing scene.

Anonymous Donor Paid to Cremate Thomas Crooks Just 10 Days After He Tried to Assassinate President Trump in Butler

Local law enforcement took photos of Thomas Matthew Crooks before he attempted to murder President Trump at the Butler, PA rally. (Source: Preliminary findings/Ron Johnson)

The family couldn’t pay. Someone else did. And two years later, nobody will say who.

An anonymous donor paid to cremate Thomas Matthew Crooks, the 20-year-old who climbed a rooftop in Butler, Pennsylvania, and tried to murder Donald Trump, just ten days after the July 13, 2024 assassination attempt.

The New York Post reviewed documents turned over to Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) as part of his ongoing probe into the Butler attack. Buried at the end of an FBI interview summary with the gunman’s father, Matthew Crooks, is a short, stunning note:

“Anonymous donor paid for cremation.”

The information, according to the records, came from a lawyer for the Crooks family.

There is currently no public evidence that the anonymous donor had any connection to Crooks’ attack, and the identity of the individual or organization reportedly footing the bill remains unknown.

But the revelation is especially striking because the rapid disposal of Crooks’ remains was already the subject of controversy on Capitol Hill.

As The Gateway Pundit previously reported in August 2024, Rep. Clay Higgins (R-LA), who served on the House task force investigating the assassination attempt, revealed that Crooks’ body had been cremated only ten days after the shooting.

Higgins wrote:

“My effort to examine Crooks’ body on Monday, August 5, caused quite a stir and revealed a disturbing fact… the FBI released the body for cremation 10 days after J13. On J23, Crooks was gone. Nobody knew this until Monday, August 5, including the County Coroner, law enforcement, Sheriff, etc.”

The coroner, Higgins said, would never have released that body without specific FBI permission.

Higgins called it what it looked like: obstruction.

“This action by the FBI can only be described by any reasonable man as an obstruction to any following investigative effort.”

The Gateway Pundit also reported the FBI released the Butler crime scene after just three days and cleaned biological evidence off the AGR rooftop, something veterans of actual homicide scenes said they had never seen done that fast.

Now we learn the family didn’t even write the check.

More… Federal Records Reveal Major New Details About Trump’s Would-Be Assassin Thomas Crooks, Including a Very Surprising Alias He Used While Buying Gun Parts

Stunning new details have emerged regarding Thomas Crooks, President Trump’s would-be assassin in Butler, Pennsylvania, two years ago.

On Tuesday, Fox News reviewed federal records turned over to the Senate, which will raise questions about why such information regarding Crooks has not come out before.

For instance, Thomas Crooks’s father, Matthew Crooks, then took an early retirement shortly after the shooting, while his mother, Mary Crooks, went on leave from work to “process the situation.”

This did not seem to be a family with significant financial means, especially since they could not afford a funeral for their son. So, something appears to be missing.

The New York Post also reviewed records which show Crooks adopted the pseudonym “Bob Dole” while ordering large numbers of Amazon packages, including “parts, tools, and items to increase the capacity of his rifle.”

He started doing this due to paranoia he picked up after his father’s Citizens Bank checking account was hacked and multiple fraudulent BetMGM charges were made on his account. It’s unclear why Thomas Crooks chose “Bob Dole” as his go-to online disguise.

Thomas Crooks also ignored his dad’s warning that simply using a pseudonym would not necessarily protect the buyer from being hacked. The charge, after all, is still being made to a bank account under his name.

More from the Post:

Thomas dismissed his dad’s logic and continued using pseudonyms to make his online purchases, believing he was shielding his accounts from being compromised.

He also coached Matthew how to use identity-obscuring software like CyberGhost VPN and the Bravenet Browser — which Thomas would argue made them “less likely to be compromised by outside actors.”

Matthew further recalled Thomas using multiple different, privacy-focused encrypted email providers, including GMX and Mailfence.

Documents also show that Thomas Crooks’s father told interviewers that his son was a loner with no friends, never showed interest in girls, and frequently talked to himself. He also gained an obsession with guns during his teenage years.

He was also emotionless since birth.

Still, none of this raised red flags with family members.

While these documents certainly shine new light on Thomas Crooks, we still do not have a motive for why he tried to take out Trump.

Until this is revealed, pertinent questions and allegations of a cover-up will remain.
