Russian drones struck Kyiv throughout October 1, hitting a school, a residential high-rise, a warehouse and, for the first time since the full-scale invasion, one of the capital’s bridges. The Kyiv Independent reported that overnight attacks nationwide killed at least six people and injured 38. Regional reports below cover separate reporting periods, including September 30 and October 1.

That morning, a drone hit a Solomianskyi district school, damaging the facade at the third-floor level and starting a fire. More than 100 students and about 60 staff were in the shelter, and police reported no injuries. A 16-story residential building in the same district caught fire, and drones hit a non-residential complex in the Pechersk district. A warehouse fire in the Obolonskyi district left one person needing medical care.

Around 11:30 a.m., two drones struck near the supports of the Pivdennyi (Southern) Bridge, which carries road and metro traffic across the Dnipro, as a metro train was crossing. The blast wave pushed dust into the cars through ventilation, but no passengers were hurt.

In Kyiv Oblast, the regional administration reported 42 damaged sites across six districts and six people injured. In the Obukhiv district, 20 private houses, a power line, a store and two vehicles were hit, and one person was injured. Four people were injured in the Brovary district and one in Boryspil, while homes, vehicles, industrial buildings and a school were damaged in the Bucha, Fastiv and Bila Tserkva districts.

In Rivne Oblast, an overnight drone strike damaged a house and left a woman hospitalized with shoulder and face injuries, regional administration head Oleksandr Koval said.

Over 24 hours, Russian forces carried out 80 strikes on 23 settlements in 12 communities of Sumy Oblast using artillery, mortars, drones and guided aerial bombs. Two men, ages 40 and 64, were killed and 15 people were injured, many elderly.

In Kharkiv Oblast, regional administration head Oleh Syniehubov said Russian forces attacked Kharkiv and 14 settlements with six missiles, six guided bombs and 32 drones over 24 hours, injuring eight people. The General Staff said Ukrainian forces repelled 13 attacks in the South-Slobozhansky direction near Hrafske, Symynivka, Mala Vovcha, Kozacha Lopan, Ternove and Izbytske, and two more near Novoplatonivka and Kupiansk.

In Donetsk Oblast, Russian strikes on September 30 injured five people, three in Kramatorsk and two in Sloviansk, according to regional police. Eleven private houses were damaged in Yakovlivka, and an administrative building was hit in Stepanivka.

In Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, Russian forces struck four districts more than 30 times with drones, artillery and guided bombs on October 1, injuring four people. Three were hospitalized after a strike on an administrative building in Pavlohrad. An enterprise, a hotel, private homes and vehicles were damaged in the Nikopol district.

In Kherson Oblast, Russian forces attacked 22 settlements, including Kherson city, killing one person and injuring four, regional administration head Oleksandr Prokudin said. In Odesa, an overnight drone attack damaged the roofs and facades of two business center buildings and started a fire, injuring one person.

The General Staff reported about 1,900 Russian personnel losses over 24 hours and 107 Shahed-type drones launched overnight. Ukrainian losses were not disclosed. Energy strikes left some consumers in the Kirovohrad, Rivne, Sumy, Kharkiv and Chernihiv regions temporarily without power. Attacks on Sumy and Kharkiv continue a pattern covered in a recent field report.

During the same overnight attack, Russian drones entered Moldovan airspace, and one exploded near Hîrbovăț in the Anenii Noi district, according to Moldova’s Ministry of Defense. Romania tracked an aerial target near its border but detected no breach of its airspace.

Estonia banned the transit of Russian and Belarusian grain through its territory. Foreign Minister Margus Tsahkna said, “Russia attacks Ukrainian ports, blocks Ukraine’s grain exports, and then looks for new routes for its own grain. Estonia will not provide one.” Russia and Belarus had not used Estonian routes for grain, making the ban preventive.

The United Kingdom announced 31 new sanctions against Russia, targeting individuals tied to the torture of Ukrainian civilians, Novatek Gas and Power Asia and eight shadow fleet vessels. London also extended licenses allowing Japan and South Korea to keep importing Russian liquefied natural gas from Sakhalin-2.

Last week, Russian state news agency RIA Novosti published and deleted a column calling for a “very short” special military operation against Lithuania using nuclear-armed missiles. The piece responded to Lithuania’s parliamentary vote to lift restrictions on stationing nuclear weapons there.

Texas Mother Charged with Attempted Capital Murder After Allegedly Stabbing Husband and Two Babies — 3-Year-Old and 10-Month-Old Found with Chest Wounds

A North Texas mother of two is behind bars on Tuesday morning after police say she turned a knife on her husband and her own young children in the dark, hours before sunrise.

Northlake police were dispatched at about 4:20 a.m. Tuesday to a home in the 1200 block of Daylily Drive, in the Canyon Falls area east of I-35W, after a man called 911 and reported that his wife had a knife and had stabbed him, according to NBC 5 Dallas-Fort Worth.

Officers were on scene within minutes and detained 37-year-old Holly Leeann Flores.

What they found inside the house was worse.

A 34-year-old man, the caller, identified by police and local outlets as Flores’s husband, had been stabbed in the head.

A 3-year-old girl and a 10-month-old boy were found with stab wounds to the chest. All three were rushed to a Fort Worth hospital.

NBC 5 reported that police believe Flores is the mother of the two children. The same outlet said investigators could not immediately confirm whether the injured man is the children’s father.

Northlake Police Chief Robert Crawford said he believed the children would survive their injuries, NBC 5 reported. No formal condition update had been released as of Tuesday morning. Motive has not been disclosed.

Flores was also hurt. She was taken to a Denton hospital for observation, treated and released, then booked into the Denton County Jail. Preliminary charges: two counts of attempted capital murder and one count of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, according to FOX 4 Dallas-Fort Worth.

This was not the first time police had been to that address. Chief Crawford told NBC 5 officers had been called to the home about five times since March, mostly for welfare concerns.

He said the calls came from the residence itself, not from neighbors. He did not elaborate.

The Northlake attack lands in the middle of a grim run of Texas cases in which authorities say a parent turned on their own children.

The Gateway Pundit reported last week that 42-year-old Colleen Nichole Lemmon was charged with two counts of capital murder after Ellis County deputies say she shot and killed both of her sons — ages 21 and 15 — inside their Waxahachie home in the pre-dawn hours of October 1.

Deputies were dispatched at about 4:13 a.m. The older son was pronounced dead at the scene. The 15-year-old died at the hospital. Lemmon was booked on a $2.5 million bond.

Days earlier, The Gateway Pundit reported on a west Houston case in which police say a mother shot and killed her 4-year-old daughter inside a Memorial-area townhome after a custody hearing, then shot herself in the face. The child was found dead. The mother was expected to survive.

BREAKING: Christa Pike is Conscious and Speaking at a Hospital Nearly One Week After Botched Execution: Attorneys

Christa Pike is conscious and speaking at a hospital nearly one week after the botched execution, her attorneys said on Tuesday.

“Against all odds, Christa Pike is conscious, speaking, and continues to receive critical medical care. Despite the severe damage she endured to her arms, she is still handcuffed and shackled to the bed. Her recovery is medically unprecedented. Her prognosis remains unclear but, at a minimum, we expect a long recovery,” attorneys for Pike said in a statement, according to The Associated Press.

Christa Pike’s attorneys thanked the first responders and the medical team at the hospital “who treated Christa like a human and have provided exceptional care to her.”

Christa Pike, 50, was sentenced to death for a 1995 fatal stabbing, torture and beating of 19-year-old Colleen Slemmer.

An inverted pentagram was carved into Slemmer’s chest during the gruesome murder.

Pike was 18 at the time of the murder. Pike’s boyfriend, Tadaryl Shipp, was also convicted of the 1995 murder.

Last Wednesday, the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals voted 2-1 to halt the execution to determine whether Pike’s allegations of childhood sexual abuse were taken into consideration during her death penalty sentencing.

Tennessee’s  immediately appealed to the Supreme Court. A few hours later, the Supreme Court allowed Tennessee to go forward with the execution.

The drama wasn’t over yet because late Wednesday night, Christa Pike’s attorneys said that Tennessee executioners administered two syringes of pentobarbital and Pike was still alive.

Pike was snoring as she was strapped down to a gurney inside Riverbend Maximum Security Institution in Nashville.

She was later rushed to a hospital and was intubated.

Legal experts warned last week that the Supreme Court has barred the execution of a condemned prisoner who is medically unconscious.

An unconscious or comatose person cannot be executed because they lack awareness, legal experts said.

Christa Pike is now awake and talking so stay tuned!

Plague Before the Polls? Can Russia Even Be Trusted? Dr. McCullouogh Weighs In (VIDEO)

A dead lab worker. Nearly 200 people are under observation. And questions about whether plague escaped a Russian laboratory. Reports of a possible spill in Siberia are raising alarms, but neither the spill nor pneumonic plague has been confirmed. Russian authorities deny a laboratory accident. I fear it could be something far worse than pneumonic plague!

And with the midterms weeks away, you know what I’m thinking: We watched politicians use COVID to expand their power and change election rules. Could another health scare become another political weapon? In my view, that question deserves scrutiny.

Today on Stinchfield: What happened inside that lab? Why is Russia taking unprecedented actions? And what would tell us that the danger has crossed a border? We break down the unanswered questions with Dr. Peter McCullough. He explains why it’s time to shut down Bio-Labs worldwide.

President Trump will deliver a speech at Anduril Industries’ Tradepoint Atlantic facility in Sparrows Point, Maryland, this afternoon as the autonomous military technology company unveils plans to build a new shipyard near Baltimore.

Anduril Industries CEO Brian Schimpf delivered remarks before Trump and announced the new shipyard and plans to work with the Naval Academy in Annapolis.

The Gateway Pundit is on the ground covering Trump’s speech.

Per Baltimore Fish Bowl:

Anduril Technologies lists the Dive-XL, Dive-LD, Copperhead, and Seabed Sentry among its autonomous underwater vehicles and detection systems with commercial and defense capabilities.

The Seabed Sentry in particular is described as “an AI-enabled sensor that brings connectivity and awareness to the deep dark sea.”

Trump’s visit will come on the heels of news that the U.S. Army plans to establish a new autonomous systems command to support the development of autonomous technologies in warfare, including watercraft, Axios reported.

“The Army is rapidly advancing to maintain our lethal edge,” acting service Secretary Adam Telle told Axios. “This is about combat readiness to destroy the enemy and ensure our Army never enters a fair fight.”

“We are incorporating boat and autonomous systems into our team and accelerate pace and escape,” Acting Navy Secretary Hung Cao said while speaking before Trump. “You can ask the Iranians.”

Upon arriving in Maryland, Trump flew over the crowd of Navy midshipmen and officers on Marine One.

RINO Thom Tillis Runs to “The View” and Threatens to Dox President Trump: “I Got His Number Too”

RINO Sen. Thom Tillis (R-NC) appears on ABC’s “The View”

Outgoing RINO Senator Thom Tillis (R-NC) apparently wants President Donald Trump to know that the phone-number game can go both ways.

During an appearance Monday on ABC’s far-left daytime program “The View,” Tillis delivered what sounded like a thinly veiled warning to President Trump after the hosts brought up Trump’s decision to publicly post Senator Tom Cotton’s phone number over the weekend.

According to Breitbart:

Co-host Sunny Hostin said, “Last year, you announced you’re retiring from the Senate after this term, following a very public fallout with the president over his Big Beautiful Bill. In the book, you include some private exchanges with the president after he called you a ‘loser’ and took credit for forcing you out of the Senate, actually. You claim to have written him, denying his account and saying, ‘I would have immediately told you to go blank yourself’ and ‘I don’t take this B.S. from anyone, including you, Mr. President.’ Did you hear back from him?”

Tillis said, “Actually, we’ve talked or texted back and forth several times since then.”

Co-host Ana Navarro said, “He’s gonna give your phone away after this.”

Tillis said, “With all due respect, I have his number, too.”

Hostin said, “Earlier we talked about the president supposedly giving out the cell number of Senator Tom Cotton, so you should be concerned about your phone number, in a dispute over policy. Are you concerned about the president coming after you after he has someone read this book to him?”

Tillis said, “Not at all. Look, we could dedicate a whole show to me, the book ends of overreach and vindictive prosecutions, etc. For people to forget about their party’s overreach puts that party in peril in the next election. That’s my whole point. Most of the people in this country live between the 35 yard lines in politics. And the party that figures that out first is going to have a structural majority because the rest of us are tired of the garbage.”

WATCH:

The North Carolina senator was on the show to hawk How to Lose Friends and Antagonize Presidents, the memoir The Gateway Pundit reported on last week after Tillis handed screenshots of profanity-laced texts to the press.

In one May 22 message he wrote, “I don’t take this bull**** from anyone, including you Mr. President.” In a June 6 text he bragged that if Trump had ever threatened him with a primary, “I would have immediately told you to f*** yourself.”

He never actually said it to the president’s face. He is saying the version that sells books, on a daytime panel that has spent years calling Trump a threat to democracy.

Germany’s Former Intel Chief Arrested on Suspicion of Treasonous Espionage

August Hanning (Getty Images)

German authorities, according to reports, arrested former Federal Intelligence Service chief August Hanning on Tuesday on suspicion of treasonous espionage, obtaining state secrets, attempted treason, and acting on behalf of a foreign intelligence service.

Federal prosecutors said officers also detained a former BND employee identified as Manfred D.

Federal Criminal Police officers arrested the 80-year-old Hanning in North Rhine-Westphalia, while Manfred D. was taken into custody in Bavaria. Investigators also searched properties in Berlin as part of the expanding federal case.

Germany’s Federal Prosecutor’s Office said both men were expected to appear before judges at the Federal Court of Justice. The judges will determine whether they should remain in pretrial detention while investigators continue examining the alleged intelligence operation.

“The accused Hanning is under strong suspicion of espionage constituting treason,” prosecutors said. The allegations concern conduct that took place years after Hanning left the BND.

According to investigators, Hanning and Manfred D. allegedly reached an arrangement in the spring of 2010 under which the former aide would continue supplying him with valuable intelligence.

Prosecutors say Manfred D. provided the material “in exchange for remuneration,” while Hanning used some of it in his private consulting work.

The alleged document flow continued for years. Prosecutors believe Manfred D. passed approximately 2,000 documents to Hanning through June 2022, many containing classified information reserved exclusively for internal BND use.

Some of the material was particularly sensitive. Investigators say it included briefings prepared for regular intelligence meetings involving senior security officials at the German Chancellery.

Manfred D. had been unusually well placed to obtain such material. He previously served as Hanning’s bureau chief and later became chief of staff to several successive BND presidents, remaining inside the agency from March 2012 until March 2026.

“The current findings suggest that, over the years, Manfred D. provided Hanning with approximately 2,000 documents,” federal prosecutors said. Many of those documents, they added, contained information intended solely for use inside Germany’s foreign intelligence service.

Hanning allegedly did more than simply retain the documents for private reference. Prosecutors say he used classified intelligence on at least one occasion to prepare an analysis for an officer working for a foreign intelligence service.

“On one occasion, Hanning used classified intelligence … to draft an analysis for an officer of a foreign intelligence service,” prosecutors said. Investigators added that they have not yet established whether “the material reached the intended recipient.”

Authorities also accuse Hanning of maintaining a longstanding relationship with a representative of a second foreign intelligence organization. During that relationship, prosecutors allege, he passed political information that was partly derived from material supplied by Manfred D.

Federal prosecutors have not publicly identified either of the foreign intelligence services involved. German media reports have suggested that the services are not believed to be Russian, but authorities have not confirmed that claim.

Manfred D. faces allegations of aiding and abetting attempted treason and treasonous espionage. Prosecutors argue that his continued access to sensitive BND material allowed him to supply Hanning long after Hanning himself had left government service.

The case is politically striking in part because Hanning has publicly challenged parts of Germany’s prevailing foreign-policy narrative in recent years.

In 2024, he accused Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky of involvement in the sabotage of the Nord Stream pipelines, an allegation that drew considerable attention in Germany.

The current espionage investigation, however, does not publicly link Hanning’s arrest to his statements about Nord Stream. Prosecutors have framed the case around his alleged possession, use and transfer of classified BND material dating back many years.

The investigation reportedly emerged almost by accident from a completely different criminal case. Hamburg authorities searched Hanning’s home and offices in September 2025 while examining allegations connected to businesswoman Christina Block and a bitter child-custody dispute.

Block has been accused of arranging the abduction of her two youngest children in late 2023. Investigators have also alleged that Hanning had some involvement in an earlier attempted abduction, an accusation he has denied.

During those searches, officers reportedly discovered an electronic storage device containing secret BND documents. Hamburg investigators then referred the material to federal prosecutors in May 2026, opening the path to the espionage inquiry that culminated in Tuesday’s arrests.

Hanning led the BND from December 1998 until November 2005, placing him at the top of German foreign intelligence during the post-Cold War period and the years immediately following the September 11 attacks.

He later served as a state secretary in the Interior Ministry until 2009 before moving into business and private security consulting.

The documents at the center of the current case reportedly date from well after Hanning left the BND. That distinction is central to prosecutors’ case, which alleges that he continued obtaining sensitive government intelligence through an insider rather than simply retaining documents from his own time in office.

The arrests come as Germany continues grappling with a series of serious intelligence-security cases. In another major case, former BND officer Carsten L. has been accused of passing classified information about the Ukraine war and the Wagner Group to Russia in return for roughly €400,000, allegations being tested in an ongoing trial.

For now, Hanning and Manfred D. remain suspects, not convicted offenders, and the identities of the foreign intelligence services allegedly involved remain undisclosed.

What prosecutors ultimately prove will determine whether the case becomes one of the most consequential espionage scandals to hit Germany’s intelligence establishment in years.

Jordan Conradson Joins Steve Bannon on War Room, “Rock Star, Incredible! Almost Got Arrested Out in Arizona Doing His Job!” (VIDEO)

Jordan Conradson joined Steve Bannon to discuss the latest election controversy in Arizona. – War Room grab

The Gateway Pundit’s Jordan Conradson joined Steve Bannon on The War Room on Tuesday morning.

On Monday, Jordan asked President Trump to comment on the breaking news that Maricopa County officials announced that Runbeck Election Services had mistakenly sent out thousands of ballots by mistake.

A similar issue occurred in 2022, when over 60,000 ballots with incorrect races were sent to voters by mistake ahead of the August primary elections.

Maricopa County announced on Sunday that over 3,000 ballots were mistakenly sent to voters by its ballot printing vendor, Runbeck Election Services, nearly a week before early voting is set to begin in the Grand Canyon State.

Runbeck has a history of controversies. The Gateway Pundit has reported extensively on this shady private entity, which was founded by leftists and transports and scans Maricopa County mail-in ballots with no oversight or chain of custody before they are processed and counted by the County.

President Trump told Jordan, “Maricopa just sent out thousands of ballots in error, Maricopa County in Arizona. And they have to be ashamed of themselves.”

Trump added, “By the way, there were no errors. You know that, right? There were no errors.”

On Tuesday Steve Bannon asked Jordan about Runbeck Election Services and their latest slip-up.

Jordan told Steve: “Thank you for highlighting this important issue that’s going on in Maricopa County still. I mean, Runbeck’s had concerns in 2020 and 2022 and 2024, and now they have this weird quote-unquote error. Apparently, they sent out about over 3,000 ballots to people before early voting was even set to begin, before the ballots were supposed to be mailed out.

They say it was a mistake. They say that they put the ballots on the wrong pallet or gave the wrong pallet to USPS and these ballots got sent out. Now they’re saying, there’s no issue, this didn’t cause any voter disenfranchisement or anything, we should just sweep it under the rug.

Maricopa County announced it on Sunday. They said that Runbeck didn’t even wanna put out a statement about it publicly. They didn’t wanna talk about it, they wanted to just sweep it under the rug. And it’s really representative of the lack of transparency we’ve received from Maricopa County and Runbeck in the past.

Steve Bannon: Luckily, for all our new viewers and listeners, this is an infamous company. In 2022, Kari Lake, the steal went through Runbeck. Am I wrong in that, Brother Conradson?

Jordan Conradson: That’s right. In Kari Lake’s lawsuit, it was alleged that I believe almost 300,000 (actual amount, 35,000) ballots were lacking chain of custody after— chain of custody documentation after they went through Runbeck to be scanned in and sent to the county. So there are these thousands of ballots that are believed to have basically come out of nowhere at the hands of Runbeck. And I mean, what’s especially shocking is this election, you’ve got the same fraudsters on the ballot that were on the ballot in 2022. You’ve got Katie Hobbs, Chris Mayes, Adrian Fontes, the cartel lawyer turned Arizona Secretary of State.

And… people in Arizona are scared. They don’t want this to happen again. They don’t want this to happen to Andy Biggs, Alex Culloden, Warren Peterson, all the great candidates that are running for these statewide positions. And it’s causing a lot of anxiety for the people of Arizona.

Steve ended the segment with these remarks about TGP reporter, Jordan Conradson, “Rock star, incredible! Almost got arrested out in Arizona doing his job!”

We agree!
