France’s Far-Left and Islamic Groups Support the Protest Movement

France’s protests began in the second half of September with backing from communist parties, Trotskyist groups, far-left student unions, and labor confederations. The Prime Minister’s office accused La France Insoumise (LFI, “France Unbowed”), Jean-Luc Mélenchon’s far-left party, and its ultra-left proxies of organizing the school blockades. A Paris police intelligence note similarly accused far-left movements of exploiting them.

A Fox News Digital investigation identified 54 organizations connected to the movement, including communist youth groups, Trotskyist parties, unions, Palestine-solidarity groups, and international media outlets. Their involvement ranged from organizing protests to expressing solidarity or amplifying coverage.

Among the organizers, the Union Syndicale Lycéenne (USL, “High School Students’ Union”) has direct ties to LFI. Its president ran on an LFI-led electoral list in Wattrelos. The union supported the New Popular Front (NFP) left alliance in 2024, and members volunteered for LFI deputy Louis Boyard’s campaign. Boyard headed its predecessor, the Union Nationale Lycéenne (UNL, “National High School Union”), from 2018–2019, when it organized school blockades alongside the Yellow Vest protests.

The Union Étudiante (“Student Union”), now France’s largest student union, co-organized national marches and distributed blockade instructions and a mobilization kit. It formed during the April 2023 pension-reform protests, when 17 local sections of the National Union of Students of France (UNEF) split and merged with L’Alternative, a union close to LFI. The president of the rival Federation of General Student Associations (FAGE) described it as a youth political party rather than a student union. Alongside the USL, it called the October 6 “Act III” march.

Founded in 1907, UNEF is France’s oldest student union and also called students into the streets. In 2021, its president acknowledged holding racially restricted meetings for members affected by racism. Education Minister Jean-Michel Blanquer called them racist, and a Republican senator described UNEF as “LFI’s student union”. Mélenchon and approximately 250 former leaders defended UNEF in Le Monde.

Solidaires Étudiant-e-s (“Solidaires Students”) is affiliated with the Solidaires labor confederation. In 2024, anti-terrorism police summoned its members at the Paris graduate school EHESS in an investigation into alleged glorification of terrorism over their public support for the Palestinian struggle.

Another student organization, Étudiants Musulmans de France (EMF, “Muslim Students of France”), has Muslim Brotherhood connections, according to the French Interior Ministry’s report. It says EMF was created by the Union of Islamic Organizations of France, now Musulmans de France, which it identifies as the Brotherhood’s French branch. EMF is affiliated with that organization and the Forum of European Muslim Youth and Student Organisations, described as the youth branch of the Brotherhood-linked Council of European Muslims.

The political parties supporting the movement have their own histories of protest mobilization. During the 2023 riots following the police killing of Nahel Merzouk, Prime Minister Élisabeth Borne accused LFI of exploiting the death.

Trotskyist organizations also urged escalation. Révolution Permanente (“Permanent Revolution”) and its youth wing, Le Poing Levé (“The Raised Fist”), which has been active since 2018, gained prominence during the 2023 pension protests. Both belong to the international Trotskyist Fraction network, led by Argentina’s Socialist Workers’ Party. Anti-terrorism police questioned spokesman Anasse Kazib over four Gaza tweets in an investigation into alleged glorification of terrorism.

Révolution Permanente was expelled in 2021 from the Nouveau Parti Anticapitaliste (NPA, “New Anticapitalist Party”). Founded in 2009 as the successor to the Trotskyist Revolutionary Communist League, the NPA split in 2022. Philippe Poutou’s faction contested elections under the NFP banner in 2024. On October 7, the NPA called on workers to strike, calling the government the real “casseurs,” or rioters.

On October 3, the Union de la Jeunesse Communiste (“Union of Communist Youth”) urged supporters to expand the high school protests, describing Macron’s governments as bourgeois and committed to a war economy.

The French Communist Party (PCF) and its youth wing, the Mouvement Jeunes Communistes de France (“Young Communists Movement of France”), also backed the protests. In an October 14 statement, the PCF urged students and workers to unite for the October 17 mobilization and union-led strikes on November 5. It opposed restrictions on gatherings, repression, and a planned €7 billion increase in military spending. Party leader Fabien Roussel had urged support for the October 6 student action, rejecting the government’s accusations against LFI while condemning violence. Socialist Party leader Olivier Faure also pledged to stand with students on October 6.

Connections among these parties extend into antifascist, decolonial, and pro-Palestinian activism. Raphaël Arnault, founder of Lyon’s Jeune Garde Antifasciste (“Young Antifascist Guard”), sits with LFI in the National Assembly. Founded in 2018, the group was dissolved by decree on June 12, 2025. France’s highest administrative court upheld the dissolution on April 30, 2026, finding it trained its members for confrontations.

Eight suspected members were charged in connection with an antisemitic assault on a 15-year-old in 2024. Two of Arnault’s parliamentary aides were arrested in February 2026 in connection with the killing of far-right activist Quentin Deranque.

Jeune Garde’s connections extend to Génération EDR (Espoir, Dignité, Résistance, “Hope, Dignity, Resistance”), an anti-Islamophobia collective founded in March 2025. Its spokespeople include a former Jeune Garde member and members of USL and a popular-education collective. The government is moving to dissolve Génération EDR, alleging violent activism under the guise of fighting Islamophobia.

LFI deputy Danièle Obono has called a “comrade” Houria Bouteldja, co-founder of the Parti des Indigènes de la République (PIR, “Party of the Indigenous of the Republic”). The Interior Ministry’s Muslim Brotherhood report compares PIR’s rhetoric to the Brotherhood’s. In 2015, Bouteldja described Jews as shields for France’s imperialist and Islamophobic policies.

Urgence Palestine (“Palestine Emergency”) was founded the day after the October 7, 2023 Hamas attack. Interior Minister Bruno Retailleau initiated dissolution proceedings in April 2025, saying the state must target Islamists. The proceedings remained pending in November.

Co-founder Omar Alsoumi was taken into custody that month on suspicion of glorifying terrorism and faced prosecution in 2026. In sworn parliamentary testimony, a journalist said he marched alongside deputies Mathilde Panot, Thomas Portes, and Ersilia Soudais of LFI. LFI and the FSU labor federation signed a statement demanding Alsoumi’s release. LFI MEP Rima Hassan signed the petition against Urgence Palestine’s dissolution, which the NPA also publicly opposed.

Organized labor joined the protests through an education-union coalition comprising the General Confederation of Labour (CGT), Unitary Trade Union Federation (FSU), Workers’ Force (FO), French Democratic Confederation of Labour (CFDT), National Union of Autonomous Trade Unions (UNSA), SUD unions, and Solidaires. The CGT, Solidaires, and farmers’ union Confédération Paysanne (“Peasant Confederation”) also mobilized for the October 17 demonstrations over student grievances, fuel prices, and living costs.

Led by Sophie Binet, the CGT is one of France’s two largest union confederations. In April 2024, its Nord branch leader, Jean-Paul Delescaut, received a suspended prison sentence of one year for glorifying terrorism over a pro-Palestinian leaflet issued three days after October 7. Mélenchon, Binet, and Roussel signed a petition supporting him. The Toulouse branch of CGT Éduc’action, its education union, co-signed a statement in 2024 with Le Poing Levé, the NPA, and Collectif Palestine Vaincra (“Palestine Will Win Collective”).

SUD Éducation, part of Solidaires, condemned both Hamas’s October 7 massacres and Israeli killings of civilians while describing the situation as colonial since 1948. It also signed the statement defending Solidaires students summoned by anti-terrorism police.

The wider list includes environmental, parents’, and civil-rights organizations whose histories provide context but do not, by themselves, establish responsibility for the current unrest. The radical environmental movement Les Soulèvements de la Terre (“Earth Uprisings”) was founded in 2021 at the Notre-Dame-des-Landes protest camp. The government dissolved it following the 2023 Sainte-Soline clashes over farm reservoirs. The Council of State annulled the dissolution as disproportionate, although it found the group had incited violence against property.

The Ligue des Droits de l’Homme (LDH, “Human Rights League”) deployed observers at Sainte-Soline. Interior Minister Gérald Darmanin subsequently suggested reviewing its public subsidy funding. Citizenship Minister Sonia Backès criticized it for defending the CCIF, the Collective Against Islamophobia in France, dissolved by the government as Islamist. She also accused the LDH of spreading a false claim that gendarmes had blocked emergency care at Sainte-Soline.

Other organizations identified include France’s largest public-school parents’ federation, the Fédération des Conseils de Parents d’Élèves (“Federation of Parents’ Councils”), and the Mouvement Contre le Racisme et pour l’Amitié entre les Peuples (“Movement Against Racism and for Friendship Between Peoples”). SOS Racisme also has longstanding Socialist connections. Founded in 1984 by Julien Dray and Harlem Désir, it emerged from a political trajectory an academic study traces from Trotskyism into the Socialist Party, which Désir later led.

Suspect Arrested for Burning Down Historic Limoges, France City Hall Identified as “Far-Left” as Officials Admit They “Lost Control” Over Riots

City Hall in Limoges, France, torched during riots

A suspect, identified by authorities as “far-left,” has been arrested in the torching of Limoges, France’s historic 19th-century City Hall building.

According to Fox News, the suspect is “known to police with far-left political ties,” and authorities have acknowledged “ultra-left” groups are involved in the violence.

Foreigners have joined in on the violence, with aliens joining forces with Marxists to take over the streets.

The network reports that 3,000 businesses have been impacted by looting, and insurance claims are expected to top over $1 billion, setting a new record in France.

Via Fox:

The suspect is reportedly on France’s “S” list, used to designate both Islamic and domestic extremists.

Even the far-left state media, BBC, which previously described the riots that claimed the historic building as “mostly peaceful,” is now admitting that the suspect is “linked to a far-left movement.”

BBC reports:

A suspect linked to a far-left movement has been arrested in France after a 19th Century city hall was gutted by a fire over the weekend that broke out during mass disorder, French media reports.

The clock tower and parts of the roof of the ornate city hall in the central city of Limoges were engulfed in flames before collapsing on Saturday.

The 34-year-old suspect is known to police for acts of violence against public officials and is on the “S” list, a French national security watchlist, FranceInfo and BFMTV reported.

Meanwhile in Marseille, a curfew for young people will be introduced on Tuesday evening.

The outlet further noted that France’s Interior Minister, Laurent Nuñez, has admitted that police across the country have “lost control” amid the chaos.

Still, as The Gateway Pundit reported, the BBC described the riots as “mostly peaceful” on Monday, while showing images of the arson and destruction across France.

Another Angry Karen Gets Booted Out of a Trump Rally

How much are these people being paid, and was it worth it?

The latest protester at a Trump rally appears to be another obese woman.  She was loud and flipped the bird at the crowd when she was asked out.

This isn’t the first large woman to interrupt a Trump rally this year.

Here is a Trump supporter getting hit leaving a recent rally.

Before the rally the crowd outside in Kansas today was huge.  RSBN was there.

Here is the full speech.

Dave Portnoy of Barstool Sports Tears Into Abdul El-Sayed: ‘This Guy Makes Me PUKE’ (VIDEO)

Screencap of Twitter/X video.

When it comes to far-left Michigan Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed, Dave Portnoy of Barstool Sports is not a fan.

Portnoy appeared on FOX News over the weekend and tore into El-Sayed, saying that the candidate makes him ‘puke.’

Although he was born in Massachusetts, Portnoy has a strong family connection to Michigan through the University of Michigan. Portnoy himself is an alum.

AL.com has details:

Portnoy said Sunday that El-Sayed, who could become the first Muslim elected to the U.S. Senate, “makes me puke” over the way the Michigan Democrat responds to questions about what Portnoy called El-Sayed’s “terrorist ties.”

“Listen, I’ve been wanting to get involved in this. I went to [the University of] Michigan, my sister went to Michigan, so we have Michigan ties. This guy makes me puke. Everything about him makes me puke,” Portnoy told Fox News’ Peter Doocy during an appearance on “The Sunday Briefing.”

“His entire attitude, when you ask him about his terrorist ties, his family ties — whether it’s his mother, his sister-in-law, his sister. I mean, it’s his whole family. And then he campaigned, obviously, with Hasan Piker, who said Americans deserve 9/11 and al-Qaeda is better than the United States. And when you ask him about this, he’s like, ‘what are you doing? How do you ever ask me this question?’” Portnoy continued…

“This guy has 10,000 red flags and seems to be insulted when you ask him directly, ‘why did you campaign with Hasan Piker?’

Watch the clip below:

Portnoy’s points are well made.

El-Sayed does bristle when asked about certain topics, especially when it comes to his family and the Muslim Brotherhood.

Ex-Congressional Candidate AJ Kern Claims She Holds DHS “Certificate of Non-Existence of Record” Showing NO Naturalization Records for Ilhan Omar’s Father Ever Becoming a U.S. Citizen

Screenshot

Former Minnesota congressional candidate AJ Kern says she possesses a Certificate of Non-Existence of Record from the Department of Homeland Security confirming that federal databases contain no naturalization records for Rep. Ilhan Omar’s late father, Nur Omar Mohamed (also referenced with variants such as Nur Said Elmi Mohamed).

During an explosive interview with Newsmax host Rob Finnerty, Kern said she received a Certificate of Non-Existence of Record from the Department of Homeland Security following her efforts to investigate the immigration history of Omar’s father, Nur Omar Mohamed.

Kern: “I requested his naturalization records, and I did receive a response from the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services that they did a thorough search of their records and using all variations of her father’s name, and he’s not in the database.

[…]

I have a certificate of nonexistence of record from the Department of Homeland Security. I have both of those documents. I’ve been very open about having them and I don’t think that the government just, you know, issues those without having done the thorough search. And they are signed. And given that there’s no naturalization records for him, then it makes her whole issue of her age irrelevant.”

WATCH:

According to the New York Post, Kern, who challenged Omar in the 2022 Democratic primary for Minnesota’s 5th District, requested records on the deceased father (who died in 2020) after determining she could not access Omar’s own living-person immigration files.

She received a USCIS response dated around June 20, 2023, stating that a thorough search of databases using all name variations found no matching index reference.

She then obtained the formal DHS Certificate of Nonexistence of Record, dated September 6, 2023, and signed by Douglas C. Marr of the National Records Center’s Immigration Information Integrity Branch.

The certificate documented a diligent search of systems including the Central Index System and related databases that turned up no record.

According to the official Biographical Directory of the United States Congress, Omar was born October 4, 1982, in Mogadishu, Somalia.

She fled the country with her family during the Somali civil war, spent several years in a refugee camp in Kenya, and arrived in the United States in 1995.

The congressional biography states she became a naturalized American citizen in 2000 at age 17.

Kern has questioned both the timing of Omar’s naturalization and her father’s citizenship records.

In her published investigation, Kern argues that if Mohamed never naturalized, Omar could not have obtained derivative citizenship through his naturalization.

That is the central question Kern wants federal officials to answer.

On October 12, 2026, Homeland Security Investigations agents executed a judicially authorized search warrant at her Washington, D.C.-area residence as part of a probe focused on documents completed by her late father.

Officials have examined possible false statements, age discrepancies, and other issues that could support denaturalization proceedings if proven.

Legal observers, including Jonathan Turley, have noted that immigration laws treat material misrepresentations in the naturalization process seriously and that derivative claims hinge on the validity of the parent’s status.

WTH? Door Knocker for Democrat AZ Governor Katie Hobbs Caught on Camera Stealing Package From Voter’s Front Porch (VIDEO)

Arizona Democrat canvasser caught on camera stealing package

A volunteer canvasser for a leftwing group backing Democratic Arizona Governor Katie Hobbs’ reelection campaign was caught on a doorbell camera, appearing to snatch a package while leaving flyers for Democratic candidates.

They’re not just stealing votes anymore.

The apparent porch pirate is seen on doorbell camera footage approaching the home and leaving a flyer at the door before closely examining a package for a moment.

She then takes the package and walks away.

As also seen in the clip, the woman left a flyer that read “paid for by Victory PAC (www.luchaaz.org/lucha-blue),” which links to the progressive group Living United for Change in Arizona’s 2026 voter guide.

The page urges voters to reelect Governor Katie Hobbs and Attorney General Kris Mayes. “Governor Katie Hobbs is delivering for Arizona families. Fighting to lower everyday costs, protecting our freedoms, keeping communities safe, safeguarding our water, and holding powerful interests accountable. She puts Arizona first and is focused on getting results that make a real difference in people’s lives,” the page reads.

The person who discovered their package was missing got a firsthand look at the governor’s socialist policies.

WATCH:

The clip was first shared by Turning Point Action’s Robert Contreras on X:

Others were quick to slam Katie Hobbs and the Democrats.

“Taking packages while door knocking for Democrats,” wrote Rep. Andy Biggs, the Trump-Endorsed Republican Hobbs opponent. “We know Arizona’s economy has become terrible under Katie Hobbs, but this is still a crime.”

As noted by all-star Arizona radio host Garret Lewis, the local mainstream media, which is all in for Hobbs, has given the incident zero coverage. If it were a Republican, this would be front-page news across the nation.

Turning Point’s Tyler Bowyer called for answers from the Hobbs campaign and slammed the far-left Arizona Central, noting, “If this was Turning Point, it would be front page.”

WHOA! Ohio Gubernatorial Candidate Amy Acton’s Mother Appears in Attack Ad: “She’s a Liar… She’s lied her entire life.”

Amy Acton’s mother accuses her of lying about her life story in campaign ad

In a move that is sure to send shockwaves through the Ohio gubernatorial election, Donna Arthur, the mother of Democratic candidate Amy Acton, has come out calling her daughter a “liar” and urging people not to vote for her.

Donna Arthur and Amy Acton are estranged. Action claims that she was neglected as a child after her parents divorced at age three and that “she lived in 18 different places in a 12-year period, including in a tent one winter, before eventually going to stay with her dad and his relatives.”

Arthur has previously accused Acton of exaggerating or inventing stories about her childhood, including abuse from her stepfather between the ages of 9 and 12.

Now, in a new anti-Acton ad circulating on social media, Donna Arthur is seen telling voters, “don’t let her become your governor,” and that she’ll make Ohioans’ lives “worse.”

“I love my daughter, but when I saw her lying about her opponent — it’s not easy for a mother to say this, but Amy has a serious problem,” Arthur says in the ad.

“She is a liar. She lies about her past. She says she grew up living in a tent. None of that is true. She’s lied her entire life.”

“My daughter needs help, and she can’t help you if she needs help herself. People can change, but first they have to tell the truth, and my daughter still isn’t doing that,” she continues.

“Don’t vote for people who lie. Don’t let her become your governor. If you think she’ll make your life better, you’re fooling yourself. It will only get worse.”

WATCH:

This comes after Acton accused Republican Vivek Ramaswamy of using artificial intelligence to lie about her family earlier this month in a hoax that got fact-checked by local media.

Clevland.com points out two lies in the recent Acton ad:

1. “Using AI to lie about my family”

The Ohio Republican Party posted an AI-altered image of Acton’s car that changed its license plate to read “Drunk Mom.”

The edit was in reference to a 2019 incident that involved Acton and her husband getting into an argument, prompting her daughter to call 911. The daughter told police that her mother had been drinking, but no charges were filed.

2. “Fact-checkers call the ads false, vile and repulsive”

Acton’s also claims that fact-checkers have deemed Ramaswamy’s ads “false, vile and repulsive,” even though her quoted source isn’t what she says.

The ad cites an opinion piece by Brent Larkin for cleveland.com in which he criticized the attacks against Acton. That is not the same as a fact check.

The Gateway Pundit has previously reported on Acton’s questionable past involving possible alcohol abuse, her apparent intoxication on the campaign trail, and viral attempted hoax when her campaign tried to manufacture a story about an “armed attack” at a campaign event.

“While attending the Canfield Fair, an armed individual lunged at Dr. Acton, injuring multiple people,” Acton campaign communications director Addie Bullock claimed last month before the narrative collapsed.

Former Democrat Senator Joe Manchin of West Virginia to Campaign for Republican Candidate in Key Senate Race

Joe Manchin, the former Democrat Senator of West Virginia who turned independent, is now going to campaign for a Republican in one of the races that could determine the outcome of the Senate.

Manchin is headed to Maine to campaign for Senator Susan Collins.

The left already hate Manchin for leaving the Democrat Party and this should just drive them further into rage.

FOX News reports:

A top Senate Republican whom Democrats are salivating at the chance to unseat is getting an unexpected assist from a former member of their own party, delivering a political snub to Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer.

Former Sen. Joe Manchin, who left the Democratic Party to become an independent before retiring from the Senate, is making a swing into Maine to support Sen. Susan Collins, R-Maine, the lawmaker’s campaign confirmed to Fox News Digital.

Collins is locked in a tight race against former Maine state Sen. Troy Jackson as she seeks a sixth term in the upper chamber. The race has remained close after it was shaken up earlier this year when Graham Platner dropped out after a sexual assault allegation rocked his campaign.

Manchin’s visit on the trail with Collins, first reported by Semafor, comes as Schumer and Democrats have tried to paint Collins as a rubber stamp for President Donald Trump, though she has often broken with the president during his second term, most notably on his signature legislation, the “one big, beautiful bill.”…

His foray onto the campaign trail in Maine on Wednesday will come just 24 hours before another major surrogate for Democrats will make her way to Vacationland: Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.

Jackson has had other progressive heavyweights join him on the campaign stump, too, including Sens. Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass., and Bernie Sanders, I-Vt.

Good for him.

It’s no surprise that Manchin likes Collins. They are both moderates.

Collins has never enjoyed wide support from conservatives but she is getting it in this election cycle because the alternative is so awful.

Alberta Province Holds Separation Vote: Polls Open Late – Results Incoming…

Mark Carney’s war on Trump is not going so well. The country is enduring a job loss crisis. Screenshot: cpac / Youtube

Voters in oil-rich Alberta province in Canada held its vote Monday on whether or not to separate from the Canada and the far left leadership that is destroying our great northern neighbor.

The polls were held open late with the last scheduled late-closing location at 10 PM Alberta Time – or Mountain time in the US.

The results are being held until all voting locations are closed.

Alberta referendum ballot –

According to the Alberta Elections page:

This is a non-binding, consultative referendum. A “No” (Remain) result changes nothing legally. A “Yes” (Leave) majority would not start separation: under the federal Clarity Act and the Supreme Court’s 1998 Secession Reference, only a clear majority on a clear question obliges Ottawa and the provinces to negotiate — and any actual secession would require a constitutional amendment.

Either way, the political consequences arrive immediately; the legal ones, if any, would take years.

** Here is another page for viewing results.

About 23% of Canadians are immigrants since Canada opened its arms to the world. This the highest immigrant share in more than 150 years!

More than 1.35 million Albertans, or 43% of eligible voters, cast advance or special ballots ahead of Monday’s referendum, according to the AP.

Alberta residents are tired of being ignored.

The results will be released shortly…
