Wisconsin Woman Pretends to be School Teacher So She Could Hurl Racial Slurs at Children, Call Kids Fat, Segregate Students by Race

A Wisconsin woman pretended to be a school teacher so she could abuse white children and segregate the students by race.

Amy Jones, 23, posed as a substitute teacher at Rufus King High School in Milwaukee on September 24.

Jones told investigators she was “bored,” so she went to the high school and told staff that she was a substitute teacher.

Staff at Rufus King High School allowed Jones to substitute teach for the day after eight other teachers called in sick.

Jones admitted to having the ‘birds and the bees” talk with the students in the classroom.

According to the students, Jones screamed at them and abused the white boys in the class. She used “profane language and racial slurs.’

Jones allegedly told the white students that they looked like the type to start school shootings.

The imposter teacher also told the young girls that they looked like hookers.

Jones was arrested and charged with six felony counts and is facing up to 20 years in prison.

According to Milwaukee County prosecutors, Jones, a former student at the school, entered the building on Sept. 24, told office staff she was a substitute teacher, and was placed in a classroom for the first three periods.

Students reported to a school resource officer that Jones was “using profane language, racial slurs, sexually derogative statements and organizing students by race and gender in class.”

A 16-year-old boy told police, “The teacher was cursing and screaming at the students and that she called a student ‘fat boy,’ asked a student if she wanted to be a stripper or a hooker,” and told two white boys in the class “they were the type of people to start school shootings.”

Students also told police that Jones asked them if they were gay or virgins. At least one student recorded her behavior and shared the video with police.

The school principal told police that eight teachers had called in sick that day, and only seven of those positions were filled. She said she believed Jones “got lucky because there happened to be an unfilled position.”

The principal became aware of the situation during the third period and had Jones escorted from the building.

Elon Musk announced Thursday that Starlink Mobile is close to offering nationwide phone coverage in the U.S. after securing tools that will help signals penetrate through walls and other obstructions.

Musk shared an X post from Sawyer Merritt, a prominent Tesla investor and commentator, who wrote: “AT&T CEO: Starlink Mobile won’t be able to penetrate walls. SpaceX: We’ve acquired 800 MHz spectrum, which will allow Starlink Mobile to provide better indoor coverage, including signals that can penetrate walls and other obstacles. People are underestimating Starlink Mobile.”

Musk noted that “this is the last critical piece of the spectrum puzzle needed for SpaceX to provide complete phone coverage in America.”

A Friday report from CBS News said that SpaceX agreed to buy licenses for radio airwaves that will help the Starlink Mobile satellite business offer cell service inside of buildings, allowing it to compete with other major carriers.

The agreement still requires approval from the Federal Communications Commission, but if it’s allowed to move forward, it would permit Starlink to combine its satellite-to-mobile transmissions with “an advanced terrestrial deployment that can seamlessly connect devices everywhere,” a company statement read.

SpaceX did, however, add that the FCC has approved Starlink Mobile’s application to launch 15,000 satellites to transmit radio waves in the 2 gigahertz band and connect directly to cell phones.

“These airwaves are compatible with existing handsets, and we do not foresee obstacles to regulatory approval,” UBS analyst John Hodulik told investors.

“That said, we still believe it will take time for SpaceX to scale its wireless ambitions, and the impact to near-term wireless industry fundamentals is limited.”

This news comes as a new documentary entitled “Musk” is set to open in Los Angeles and New York theaters on Friday.

The film, said to be critical of the world’s first trillionaire, included clips of his own employees saying negative things about him and his companies, NBC News reported.

Musk already slammed the four-hour film as a “hit piece” that is “boring,” and went after director Alex Gibney, according to Variety.

Musk said that Gibney had “just assembled a hit list of people who either have an axe to grind or don’t even know me (but still have an axe to grind).”

He added that the director has “ZERO integrity” and is a “horrible human.”

Musk also made headlines this week with his America PAC after it ramped up midterm spending, with Election Day less than three weeks away.

“As of October 6, America PAC, the main Musk-affiliated super PAC, had deployed $24.8 million of the $31 million it has spent on this year’s races into seven key U.S. Senate contests that are widely seen as close — if not toss-ups — and represent a path for Democrats to take control of the chamber this November,” an article from Wired magazine read.

Republicans are currently fighting to maintain their slim majority in the House of Representatives, while also protecting their precarious 53-47 edge in the Senate, as President Donald Trump urges citizens to vote.

President Trump has canceled his planned trip tomorrow to the Georgia vs. Alabama college football game in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, due to Hurricane Isaias in the Gulf of America.

Trump told reporters earlier this week, “I love Alabama. I got to go to a game.”

But “if there’s an emergency or there’s a hurricane, I don’t want to do anything to take the focus of all of the great people that work on those things,” he said, suggesting he might cancel his plans.

“I haven’t heard about a hurricane. A hurricane is going in the vicinity of Alabama? That’s not good. Certainly, I’m going to let the hurricane determine. I want people to be safe. That’s all.”

The storm is expected to make landfall near the Florida panhandle Friday night and make its way toward the Carolinas.

Several college football games were altered because of the storm, with six changing their kickoff times and one being canceled entirely.

ESPN’s “College GameDay” announced it would be broadcasting indoors at the Tuscaloosa campus because of the storm.

The Bulldogs are the second-ranked team in the nation, while Alabama is sixth – both squads are undefeated.

Trump said on Friday that he wants first responders to be focused on the storm and “in no way be thinking about the safety, or presence, of the President of the United States, ME!”

“Therefore, I will miss that potentially unbelievable Game, Alabama vs. Georgia but, hopefully, the Game will go on despite the weather!” he said, adding that he will visit both teams “at a later date” and will hold a rally for Republicans in Tennessee in the near future.

Former heavyweight boxing champion Mike Tyson surprised reporters in the White House press briefing room while visiting President Trump, and he took a few questions.

Though details from their meeting are unclear, Tyson reportedly gave the President a letter from disgraced rapper and producer Sean “Diddy” Combs in January, and he recently opened up about the exchange on an episode of SiriusXM’s “Andy Cohen Live.”

Tyson is attending President Trump’s rally in Syracuse, New York, tonight. The two departed the White House together and boarded Marine One.

 

Earlier, Tyson stopped by the briefing room and took questions from reporters.

Lindell TV’s Cara Castronuova asked Tyson whether he thinks Republicans will win the midterms.

“I believe Donald Trump is going to win,” he responded.

Tyson took several questions from reporters and said the President invited him to the New York rally, confirming that he would travel with him to Syracuse and is “looking forward to it.” He declined to say what he spoke with Trump about.

Cara Castronuova asked him several questions, including who he thought was the greatest fighter of all time, and he said, Muhammad Ali.

Talarico Surfaces After Hiding From Texas Voters For Nearly Two Weeks – Does it Look Like He Had the Flu?

Texas Democrat Senate nominee James Talarico finally surfaced on Friday after a noticeable, two-week absence from the campaign trail.

Talarico’s campaign said the Texas Democrat was gone from the public for two weeks because he had the flu.

James Talarico was last seen raising money from angry Robert De Niro in New York.

Talarico also raised money from the gay Human Rights Campaign while in New York.

Highly popular GOP Texas Senate candidate Ken Paxton put out a search party for Talarico this week.

“[Talarico] was last seen in Texas on September 26th. While his campaign continues to lie to Texans, he is nowhere to be seen,” Paxton said.

Ken Paxton earlier Friday put out another missing persons poster amid Talarico’s prolonged absence.

Talarico was so sickly that he hid from Texas voters for nearly two weeks during the last leg of the race to the midterm elections.

Turbulence Forces NYC-Bound Plane to Land, 8 Hospitalized

At least eight people were injured when an airplane traveling from the South American nation of Colombia to New York City experienced severe turbulence on Friday morning.

Traveling from Medellín, Colombia, to NYC’s John F. Kennedy International Airport, the plane had to be diverted to Miami, according to Fox News.

The plane, which was operated by Avianca, a Colombian airline, landed at Miami International Airport around 3:30 am local time.

Eight injured passengers were taken to a nearby hospital while the remaining passengers were funneled into another flight headed for JFK International. The flight to New York reportedly left at 8:15 am.

An Avianca spokesperson told Fox News that the flight was diverted to Miami due to intense turbulence.

“Flight AV042, operating from Medellín (MDE) to New York (JFK), encountered unexpected turbulence during its journey,” an airline spokesperson said.

“As a precaution and in accordance with the airline’s safety protocols, the flight was diverted to Miami International Airport (MIA), where the aircraft landed safely,” the spokesperson added.

They also noted that “three cabin crew members and six passengers were affected by the turbulence,” though evidently only eight needed medical care.

“Upon arrival, Avianca’s team and airport medical services activated the appropriate protocols to provide immediate care,” the spokesperson continued. “For the remaining passengers, Avianca’s airport team has made the necessary arrangements to continue their travel to New York, providing assistance and support throughout the process.”

Speaking with CBS News, Miami-Dade Rescue revealed that one of the injured passengers had to be taken to a “trauma center.”

CBS News also spoke with a female “passenger” who was at the airport in Miami when Flight AV042 landed. She reported seeing ambulances on the tarmac ready to assist the injured.

“When we arrived, when we landed, we saw that very close to where we were going to disembark, there were more than five or six ambulances,” Maria Paula Jimenez said to CBS News in Spanish.

“Seven of them with their lights on as if they were waiting for something,” she added. “When we arrived, well, you know, it wasn’t normal.”

The Federal Aviation Administration has since confirmed to CBS News that it intends to investigate this incident.

According to the New York Post, the plane at one point dropped 25,000 feet.

“The Airbus A320 climbed to around 35,000 feet as it flew over Jamaica and Cuba, heading north, before making a sharp descent about 2 ½ hours into the flight,” the Post reported. “The plane descended 25,000 feet in a matter of minutes.”

President Trump will deliver remarks tonight in New York during a rally for Republican gubernatorial candidate Bruce Blakeman, who is running against incumbent Democrat Kathy Hochul. 

Trump was seen leaving the White House this afternoon with former heavyweight boxing champion Mike Tyson, who is expected to join him at the rally.

Tyson, a native New Yorker, met with the President at the White House earlier, after reportedly giving the President a letter from disgraced rapper and producer Sean “Diddy” Combs in January.

Per the New York Post:

Iron Mike explained he “spoke to him once on the phone” and revealed that Diddy asked for a favor.

“He wanted me to give a letter to the president,” Tyson said, prompting Cohen to ask if he in fact did “give a letter to the president from him?”

“I did what he told me to do,” Tyson said, without providing further details.

Tyson’s good deed for Diddy first made headlines when insiders told The US Sun in January that the athlete hand-delivered a letter to Trump.

Sources close to Tyson claim he was given a pardon request letter by someone in the disgraced rapper’s inner circle and asked him to deliver it personally to Trump, according to the publication.

Details of their meeting remain unclear.

Trump and Tyson spoke to reporters briefly while departing the White House earlier.

FDA Announces Recall of Baby Supplements, Some Could Contain Alcohol

A baby product that was found to contain various forms of alcohol is being recalled.

Pacific Health Sciences is voluntarily recalling a batch of Babies’ Magic Tea brand Baby Sleep Gripe Water, according to a notice posted on the website of the Food and Drug Administration.

The FDA said tests found “ethanol, methanol, and isopropanol that were not declared on the product label.”

“Measured levels were approximately 8.3 percent ethanol, 0.35 percent methanol, and 0.48 percent isopropanol. These substances were not listed on the label. Their presence may pose a risk depending on the amount consumed and the age and body weight of the person using the product,” the notice said.

The notice added that the organic alcohols ”are known to impair normal functioning of the central nervous system, while infant ethanol exposure has been linked to long-term developmental consequences.”

Exposure to the amounts a baby would ingest when given the recommended dose of the product “can induce drowsiness, incoordination, behavioral changes, nausea, vomiting, and abdominal pain,” the notice said.

Giving a baby even more than is recommended “can increase risk of respiratory depression and other serious adverse health consequences,” the notice continued.

The notice said the company has not received any notices of harm from the product.

The recalled batch has a Lot Number of 25122bw and a “Best Before” date of December 2028.

The recalled product went to a company called Secrets of Tea that sold it online through its website and through Amazon.

Consumers were urged to either return the product for a refund or simply throw it out.

Gripe water in general does not get rave reviews from the Cleveland Clinic.

“Because herbal remedies aren’t subject to the same level of government oversight as food or medicine, there’s no way to be sure that the gripe water you buy for your baby meets basic quality or safety standards,” the site warned, adding that “many brands of gripe water have been recalled over the years because they posed dangers to babies.”

The site noted that gripe water is billed to address colic, gas, and fussiness in babies and generally contains fennel, ginger, baking soda, and flavorings.

The site reported that “there’s little research to suggest it actually works.”

Dr. Christina Vernace told the Cleveland Clinic that “ginger and fennel can relieve stomach discomfort in adults and kids, but babies’ bellies are different.”

“And those ingredients haven’t been proven to work in babies,” she added.

“If your baby has colic, stomach discomfort isn’t necessarily contributing to this complicated diagnosis. So, those ingredients don’t support the claim that gripe water relieves colic symptoms,” she said.

India has accused Vice President JD Vance of using “deeply offensive” language with “painful colonial connotations” after he warned American companies against replacing U.S. workers with foreign labor.

The diplomatic confrontation followed the announcement that Microsoft, Adobe, and six major IT outsourcing firms would be suspended from the Permanent Labor Certification program, which allows employers to sponsor foreign workers for permanent residency.

Speaking at a White House press conference Thursday, Vance warned that U.S. companies must prioritize American workers.

They “cannot lay off American workers and then replace them with foreign indentured servants,” he declared.

The remarks provoked an angry response from India’s Ministry of External Affairs.

“We believe that such descriptions are unwarranted and ignore the fact that Indian professionals in the United States are highly educated and skilled contributors to its economy and innovation ecosystem,” the ministry said.

It added that the terminology carried “painful historical and colonial legacy connotations” and was “deeply offensive.”

The reference to indentured servitude carries historical significance in India, where millions of laborers were transported to overseas colonies under contracts during British colonial rule.

Vance, whose own wife is of Indian origin, singled out Microsoft, accusing the technology giant of laying off thousands of American workers while continuing to hire foreigners through the H-1B visa program.

Microsoft has disputed the claims, maintaining that most of its American workforce consists of U.S. citizens and that the overwhelming majority of its H-1B applications involve existing employees.

The dispute could have a negative impact on India’s economy.

According to U.S. government data, approximately 70 percent of H-1B visa beneficiaries in 2025 were born in India, making Indian professionals the largest group using the program.

India also insists both countries benefit from the arrangement.

“Talent mobility adds value to both economies,” the ministry said, adding that the suspensions “do not advance the shared ambitions of both countries.”

Other affected companies include Indian technology giants Infosys, Tata Consultancy Services, Wipro and HCL, alongside Cognizant and Capgemini.

Indian officials have pointed out that the measures do not automatically invalidate existing H-1B visas or affect the legal status of visa holders and their dependents.
