Tennessee Republican Tim Burchett Planning to Try to Block the Seating of One DSA Member in Congress if She Wins

Tennessee Republican Congressman Tim Burchett is planning to try to block the seating of New York DSA member and congressional candidate Darializa Avila Chevalier if she wins, which, she probably will. This is New York, after all.

Burchett takes serious issue with some comments Chevalier made about using the American flag as a napkin.

Frankly, it’s a wonder how any of them will be sworn in. How are they going to swear an oath to protect the Constitution when their own platform shows that they want to destroy it?

The New York Post reports:

Rep. Burchett planning to block NYC socialist Chevalier from Congress after she claimed to use American flag as napkin

Rep. Tim Burchett (R-Tenn.) plans to try to block Democratic nominee and New York socialist Darializa Avila Chevalier from taking her seat in Congress if she wins the Nov. 3 election — over her saying she used the American flag as a napkin.

Burchett told The Post he intends to make the unusual parliamentary move when the new Congress convenes in January — using a simple majority to prevent newly elected lawmakers from being seated before they take the oath of office.

“You take an oath to uphold the Constitution, and and you’re pretty much disavowing it right there. I just think we’ve lost our compass,” he said in an interview.

He cited the Chevalier’s incendiary flag comment, which he called an affront to his own family’s military service. His father was a World War II Marine, while his dad’s brother served on a Navy destroyer…

“If we vote to seat them, is one Democrat going to say no? I’m not going to vote to seat those people. Are they gonna say anything? Democrats died for this country as well as Republicans did.”

Burchett takes the honoring of the American flag very seriously, as he should.

Democrats will be outrageously outraged by this.

Good on Burchett.

President Trump at Ohio Rally – “With You at my Side, We Have Always Prevailed, and Prevailed by a Lot” (VIDEO)

President Trump was in Vandalia, Ohio, on Saturday, campaigning for Republican candidates for the 2026 midterm elections.

The President walked out on stage to a very patriotic and enthusiastic crowd cheering him on.

Watch:

President Trump reminded the crowd that the Democrats constantly attacked him.

“They tried to smear us, slander us, persecute us, demoralize us. They’ve attacked me, they’ve impeached me, they’ve arrested me, and they even tried to kill me,” Trump said.

“With you at my side, we have always prevailed, and prevailed by a lot, and got record-setting votes,” Trump said.

“We’ve won every battle. We’ve defeated every hoax. We’ve overcome every threat, and now we are on the cusp of beating the communist, socialist, radicalized lunatics and villains. Once and for all we are going to put them down,” Trump continued.

Watch:

President Trump also recited “The Snake.” He frequently reads that at rallies.

The President used that as a comparison to what an open border did to the United States under the Biden regime.

“That’s what happened at our border. 25 million people came in from jails, from mental institutions, from prisons all over the world they released them in. That’s the snake. They released them into our country,” Trump said.

Sophie Cunningham Says the League ‘Could Have Called for a Suspension’ of Aja Wilson After She Went After a Fever Fan Like a Maniac: ‘She Needs to Grow Up”

Indiana Fever guard Sophie Cunningham says A’ja Wilson’s trip into the stands after a foul call “could have called for a suspension”

Indiana Fever guard Sophie Cunningham is calling out the blatant double standard in the WNBA after Las Vegas Aces A’ja Wilson escaped suspension following her heated confrontation with a Fever fan.

Cunningham addressed the controversy during the latest episode of her “No Hesitation” show, suggesting that Wilson’s status as a four-time WNBA MVP may have influenced the league’s decision not to suspend her.

The Gateway Pundit reported on the original circus on Sept. 30. In the fourth quarter of Game 2 of the first-round series at Gainbridge Fieldhouse, Wilson got tangled up with Cunningham, Cunningham was whistled for the foul, and a courtside fan stood, pointed, and, according to fan video circulated after the game, told Wilson the foul was on her.

CLOWN SHOW BREAKING NEWS: Woke Sports League Announces Aja Wilson Will Not Be Suspended or Fined for Going After Fan in Stands Despite Clear League Rules That Call for Immediate Suspension

Wilson turned, left the court, and went straight at the man, pointing and yelling until teammates and security got between them.

She drew a technical for unsportsmanlike conduct. The Fever won, 99-89. The fan was briefly pulled, then put right back in his seat.  He did nothing wrong.

The Indiana Fever later said arena security spoke with the fan and witnesses and “determined there was no violation of the Fan Code of Conduct; the fan was not removed from the arena. We consider the matter closed,” according to The Athletic.

Wilson told reporters she does not “get into the bullshit,” then explained why she did anyway: “If I see a man come at me, taking steps towards me and pointing at me, I don’t give a damn what you said. I don’t give a damn how you said it. The tone, that is unacceptable.”

Cunningham said on her show, “That could have called for a suspension, but you know she’s like the LeBron James of our league, so of course they’re not going to suspend her.”

She added that “something should have happened” and described the league’s handling of the incident as a “double standard.”

Transcript below:

Cunningham: “If you really want sports fans, then you’re going to get sports fans. And that includes pointing. That includes getting yelled at, probably getting called names. With all the praise and all the great things that come with it, you also got to look at the negative side.

And I’m not saying that this guy did anything wrong. I don’t think he did absolutely anything wrong.

And if you want to get technical, that could have caused for suspension. But she’s like the LeBron James of our league, and so, of course, they’re not going to suspend her. So I’m not even going to get into that. But she should have been—something should have happened there. The two people who came off the bench onto the court, that should have happened.

And so, I think there’s definitely a double standard. I think, of course, we wanted her to play. I think that makes for good basketball. I’m not asking for that. And I don’t think it would’ve been—if we would’ve won and she wouldn’t have been there, I don’t think it would’ve been fair.

I think we would’ve gotten a lot of backlash from that. But I think for someone pointing and saying that the foul was on you, like, grow up. I’m over it. Grow up.

…Like, who would have thought someone pointing would just cause so many people to go into a mental spiral?

Like, that says a lot more about you and your mental status than anything that the fans are doing.”

WATCH:

WNBA rules require the automatic ejection of any player who deliberately enters the spectator stands, while additional discipline, including a fine or suspension, may be imposed by the Commissioner depending on the circumstances.

According to Reuters, the league determined that Wilson remained inside the designated “player escape lane” during the confrontation and therefore would not be suspended for the deciding Game 3. Aces players Kalani Brown and Kierstan Bell also avoided discipline after leaving the bench area during the incident.

Angela Paxton Demolishes Leftist Dreams: Estranged Wife of Ken Paxton Urges Conservative Voters to ‘Hold the Line’ and Vote GOP Straight Down the Ticket!

Texas State Senator Angela Paxton tells voters she is “voting for the Republican ticket on November 3rd” (Screenshot via AdImpact / Texas PAC)

Texas State Senator Angela Paxton is sending a clear message to Republican voters ahead of November: whatever personal disagreements they may have with individual candidates, vote Republican.

Angela Paxton, the estranged wife of Texas Attorney General and Republican U.S. Senate nominee Ken Paxton, appeared in a new television advertisement urging Texans to back the Republican ticket on November 3.

The 30-second ad was released Saturday by Texas PAC and highlighted by AdImpact Politics.

And while Angela Paxton never mentions her estranged husband by name, the message is impossible to miss.

Ken Paxton is the Republican nominee for U.S. Senate against Democrat State Rep. James Talarico.

“I’m Texas Senator Angela Paxton. People have asked my thoughts about this election and turns out, I have some,” she says, looking straight into the camera.

“Let’s talk about the elephant in the room. In a general election, it’s not as much about the individual players on the team. It’s about getting the whole team across the finish line. Either we hold every Republican seat, or we hand the future of Texas to the other team. That’s why I’m voting for the Republican ticket on November 3rd. Let’s hold the line together.”

WATCH:

Angela Paxton said essentially the same thing on September 18 to the Texas Federation of Republican Women, in a speech titled “The Elephant in the Room.”

According to the Texas Tribune, she told the room the seat matters more than the candidate: “Because we have more control over that seat and the future when we control the seat, when it’s still in the family, even if we’re mad at them.” Lose it to the other team, she warned, and the fixes conservatives want become impossible.

The Gateway Pundit previously reported that Angela Paxton announced the divorce filing on July 10, 2025, after 38 years of marriage. “I believe marriage is a sacred covenant and I have earnestly pursued reconciliation,” she wrote on X.

“But in light of recent discoveries, I do not believe that it honors God or is loving to myself, my children, or Ken to remain in the marriage.” Her petition cited adultery. Ken Paxton’s legal team has denied the allegations. The couple had already been living apart.

The establishment pounced within hours. The Gateway Pundit reported the next day that the National Republican Senatorial Committee, the same McConnell-era machine that had already endorsed Cornyn over the Trump-backed attorney general, rushed out a statement trashing Paxton over a divorce announced that morning. It looked coordinated. It did not work. Paxton crushed Cornyn in the May runoff and took the nomination.

Democrats and their media allies have treated the marriage as the campaign. They should remember what happened the last time the Texas political class tried to bury Ken Paxton.

In 2023 the RINO-run Texas House, led by Dade Phelan, impeached him in a sham proceeding that fixated on an extramarital affair and allegations his own accusers could not back with evidence.

The Texas Senate acquitted him on all 16 articles. The Gateway Pundit reported Paxton’s statement after the acquittal, in which he thanked “my amazing wife Angela,” calling her “a brave woman of deep faith, unquestionable integrity, and the light of our entire family.” She recused herself from the trial.

President Trump endorsed Paxton over Cornyn and has already promised rallies. At the RNC’s midterm convention in Dallas last month, Paxton told the crowd, “If we lose Texas, we lose the Common Sense Revolution. If we lose the Common Sense Revolution, we lose America.”

Texas has not elected a Democrat to the U.S. Senate since 1988, and Trump carried the state by nearly 14 points in 2024, but public sham “polls” have shown Talarico competitive.

Republican groups are treating it like a firewall: CNN has reported GOP-aligned spending in the race is on track to blow past $300 million.

The Government’s WAR Against American-Born Doctors

The Government’s WAR Against American Doctors FIRST

After earning a medical degree, who gets the residency, the citizen or the foreigner?

We tell our children to study hard. Get the education. Earn the degree. Prepare for a profession where they can make a difference. Suppose Johnny does all of that.

He graduates from medical school. He has the degree. But on the usual path toward independent medical practice, there is another essential step: postgraduate clinical training, usually through residency training. And without a residency selection, a student’s medical career is effectively on hold, as residency training is required to obtain a full medical license and practice independently.

So, now Johnny needs a residency. And that brings me back to the question we asked in my last article: When does the system give American applicants First Consideration? The ANSWER – it doesn’t. It rewards Foreign Trained Physicians with VISA preferences to overcome Medicare Reimbursement CAPS on U.S. Doctors.

A controversy involving Rochester General Hospital in New York brought that question into sharp focus. A viral post alleged that 80 of 82 resident physicians were foreign-trained working under H‑1B or J‑1 VISAS, leaving only two positions for Americans.

That is a serious allegation. It also remains unverified. Medical-school rosters do not establish citizenship or VISA status, and the hospital’s published response did not provide that breakdown. Still, the questions deserve answers.

How many American applicants applied? How many were interviewed? How were applicants selected? And what role did VISA sponsorship play?

Before we can answer those questions honestly, we need to understand three things: 1. How residency selection works; 2. How H‑1B and J‑1 differ; and 3. What the numbers actually tell us.

A country concerned about having enough doctors should also be concerned about whether qualified Americans have a fair opportunity to complete their training.

WHO GETS THE RESIDENCY — AND HOW?

Before we decide whether Johnny was passed over, we need to understand how applicants and residency programs find each other.

Many positions are filled through the National Resident Matching Program (NRMP), commonly called “the Match.” Applicants apply to programs and interviews. Then both sides make choices: applicants rank the programs where they want to train, and programs rank the applicants they are willing to train. A computer algorithm compares those lists. It starts with the applicant’s preferences and attempts to place that person in the highest-ranked program that can accept them under the matching rules. Programs’ rankings and available positions also determine the outcome.

So, the questions begin before the computer runs: Who received an interview? What qualifications did the program value? Who was ranked — and who was left off the list? A hospital’s final roster only tells us who arrived. By itself, it does not tell us why another applicant did not.

There is another part of Johnny’s predicament: how residency training is funded. The Balanced Budget Act of 1997 established hospital-specific limits (CAPS) on the number of American residents Medicare would support to help prevent an oversupply of doctors, generally based on each hospital’s 1996 training levels. Hospitals can train residents above those limits, but must cover the additional costs through other resources. The 1997 Act doesn’t affect H‑1B and J‑1 sponsored foreign-trained residency doctors. But they raise a separate question that deserves attention alongside fair selection: If America post-1997 now needs more doctors, why aren’t we supporting enough opportunities to train American ones?

“AMERICAN” AND “AMERICAN-TRAINED” – NOT THE SAME THING

This distinction stopped me, because it changes how we read the numbers. An international medical graduate, or IMG, attended medical school outside the United States under the applicable reporting definitions. That label describes an educational background. It does not, by itself, establish citizenship.

An American citizen who attended medical school abroad can be an IMG. A noncitizen IMG may be a permanent resident who does not need employer VISA sponsorship, or someone who does. But the NRMP reports these groups separately — and even distinguishes outcomes for noncitizen IMGs who require sponsorship from those who do not. A foreign medical-school name on a roster does not prove that an American lost a position to a VISA holder.

That is Why the Rochester Citizenship and VISA Breakdown Matters.

WHAT DO THE NATIONAL NUMBERS SHOW?

The 2026 results provide context we cannot leave out:

Applicant group Matched to a first-year position Placement through the Match and supplemental offers
Seniors at U.S. MD schools 93.5% 97.8%
Seniors at U.S. DO schools 93.2% 98.5%
U.S.-citizen international medical graduates 70.0% 77.8%
Non-U.S.-citizen international medical graduates 56.4% 59.9%

https://www.nrmp.org/about/news/2026/05/new-reports-2026-main-residency-match-outcome-and-demographic-reports/?utm_source=chatgpt.com

These figures describe active applicants in each group. The supplemental process — called SOAP — offers eligible unmatched applicants another opportunity to obtain an unfilled position. But the U.S. MD and DO rows describe school enrollment, not citizenship; they also concern graduating seniors, rather than everyone who graduated in a previous year.

Nationally, seniors at U.S. medical schools had substantially higher placement rates than either IMG group. That deserves to be stated plainly.  Those national results cannot explain every hospital’s decision or every applicant’s experience. Nor should we overlook the American citizens who studied abroad and faced substantially lower placement rates. Which brings us to the next question:

When a residency program accepts a physician who needs VISA sponsorship, what do H‑1B and J‑1 actually permit — and what obligations come with them?

TWO VISA ROUTES — WITH DIFFERENT RULES

H‑1B and J‑1 often appear together in headlines. But they serve different purposes, carry different obligations, and provide targeted preferences for foreign doctors only.

J‑1: COMING HERE FOR MEDICAL TRAINING

The J‑1 physician program is an educational exchange. ECFMG, a division of Intealth, sponsors physicians participating in approved U.S. clinical training programs. The hospital provides the training; ECFMG provides the visa sponsorship.

Physicians must provide a Statement of Need from the health ministry of their country of citizenship or most recent legal permanent residence. Sponsorship generally lasts no longer than seven years and authorizes specified training activities. These physicians are also subject to a two-year home-country physical-presence requirement before becoming eligible for certain other U.S. immigration statuses, unless they obtain a waiver from the two-year presence requirement.  And that waiver is an important part of the story…

One route, known as Conrad 30, allows qualifying physicians to obtain a waiver tied to a commitment to practice medicine for at least three years serving underserved communities in the U.S. Physicians using this route generally fulfill that service in H‑1B status. So, a physician may arrive for temporary training and later qualify to stay and work under a separate legal provision. That “preference” is now built into the law.

H‑1B: EMPLOYER-SPONSORED WORK

H‑1B is the specialty-occupation employment category we examined in the previous article. It is also used for qualifying for actual U.S. hospital physician positions, including some residency and fellowship positions.

Employers have wage obligations. They must pay at least the actual wage for comparable employees with similar qualifications and experience, or the applicable prevailing wage — whichever is higher. A VISA does not give an employer permission to ignore those wage protections.

Yet wage protection and priority for American applicants are different questions. For most H‑1B employers, the program does not impose a general requirement to recruit U.S. workers first. Additional recruitment and hiring obligations ONLY apply to certain H‑1B-dependent employers and willful violators, subject to exemptions again.

And that brings us back to Johnny…

The existence of an H‑1B or J-1 approval or waiver does not, by itself, tell us that no qualified American was available. And the presence of a VISA holder does not, by itself, prove that an American was improperly rejected. To answer that question, we need evidence about the particular employer’s recruitment and selection decisions.

If a hospital cites a physician shortage, we should ask it to explain the shortage it is trying to fill: which specialty, which community, and which positions? Then we should ask how qualified American applicants were considered, and whether Medicare reimbursement CAPS mattered.

Those are questions a serious discussion of our medical workforce should be able to address.

HOW MUCH OF OUR PHYSICIAN WORKFORCE IS FOREIGN-BORN?

The Migration Policy Institute’s analysis of 2021 Census data found that 26% of U.S. physicians and surgeons were foreign-born — approximately one in four. That includes naturalized American citizens; it does not mean one in four doctors holds a temporary work VISA.

The share is higher in some fields. An American Board of Internal Medicine study released in August 2026 found that 47.2% of the physicians studied in internal medicine and its subspecialties were born abroad, including doctors educated at U.S. medical schools.

These figures show how substantial a role physicians born abroad play in American medicine. They also reinforce why we must distinguish birthplace, citizenship, medical education, and VISA status before drawing conclusions.

The size of that workforce deserves attention. Whether a particular hospital fairly considered American applicants still requires evidence about its decisions.

ROCHESTER: SHOW US HOW THE DECISIONS WERE MADE

The Rochester Hospital has defended the qualifications of its physicians and cited workforce shortages. Its published response did not provide the citizenship and VISA breakdown needed to evaluate the allegation.

A useful answer would identify:

  • The group being counted. Which hospital, residency programs, training years, and dates make up the reported 82?
  • The actual citizenship and immigration categories. How many were U.S. citizens, permanent residents, H‑1B holders, J‑1 holders, or in another category?
  • The applicant pool and selection criteria. How many qualified American applicants applied, were interviewed, and were ranked? What qualifications guided those decisions?
  • The workforce need. Which shortages were these positions intended to address? Were shortages created by Medicare reimbursement CAP policies?

These questions can be addressed through aggregate information without publishing individual applicants’ private records. The answers may support the hospital’s explanation. Or they may reveal problems. We should be prepared to follow the evidence either way; but Anti-American VISA and Medicare Policies MUST END!

JOHNNY DESERVES AN ANSWER. SO DO THE PATIENTS.

I began this inquiry asking when the American applicant gets First Consideration. What I found is a system in which medical education, residency selection, 1997 Medicare CAPS, immigration status, and workforce needs intersect, to deny that First Consideration.  And I found Our Own Government is Behind This, and similar programs, including the Heartland VISA Program for skilled immigrants.

An American who attended medical school abroad is still an American. A physician working here lawfully on a VISA deserves to be judged by qualifications and conduct alone. And a Citizen applicant who did not obtain a residency deserves an honest examination of the barriers, without a promise that every rejection proves wrongdoing.

We can value the care international physicians provide but still insist on fair opportunities for qualified Americans, FIRST.

That means asking hospitals to explain their selection practices, asking government policymakers whether the current restricted training system meets the country’s current needs, and examining whether existing worker protections are doing their job.

For Johnny, this is His Future. For a patient waiting to see a doctor, it is Access to Care.

Both deserve a system we can understand — and can hold accountable.

Let’s Get the Numbers, Examine the Decisions, And Let the Evidence Tell Us What Needs to Change Before We Lose Anymore Dr. Johnnys.

Tom Cruise’s $160 Million Climate Propaganda Film ‘Digger’ Bombs at Box Office Opening Weekend

Tom Cruise stars in Warner Bros.’ climate-change film Digger, which has struggled at the box office despite its massive production budget and A-list star power. Credit: Warner Bros.

Tom Cruise’s climate-change propaganda film Digger is bombing at the box office, despite featuring one of Hollywood’s biggest stars and carrying a gargantuan production budget.

The Warner Bros. film pulled in just $3.4 million on Friday, including Thursday previews, from more than 3,300 theaters across North America.

Some estimates suggest Digger could finish its opening weekend with around $10 million domestically.

This is against a monster $160 million production budget, which does not include marketing expenses.

Directed by Alejandro González Iñárritu, Digger stars Cruise as a grotesque billionaire oil tycoon whose actions unleash a global environmental catastrophe.

After an accident at one of his drilling sites, a massive section of Greenland’s ice shelf breaks away and heads toward Europe, threatening catastrophic destruction.

Rockwell is subsequently brought into an emergency meeting with the U.S. president, played by John Goodman, as officials attempt to prevent the looming disaster.

The film then reveals that the events are part of a stage production called Fossil Fools, depicting a climate catastrophe that occurred decades earlier within the movie’s fictional timeline.

Cruise is actually playing an actor named Curtis Markson, who is himself portraying Rockwell in the production.

Audiences do not appear particularly impressed either.

The film received a mediocre C+ CinemaScore, while reviews have been sharply divided.

Warner Bros. even resorted to an unusual marketing campaign highlighting the film’s terrible reviews and urging moviegoers to decide for themselves.

The box-office performance is particularly striking given Cruise’s status as among Hollywood’s most marketable movie stars.

Top Gun: Maverick grossed nearly $1.5 billion worldwide in 2022, while its Mission: Impossible franchise has generated billions at the global box office.

Yet even Cruise’s star power appears insufficient to persuade audiences to turn out for a sprawling climate-change satire.

Unless Digger enjoys a dramatic turnaround overseas and in the weeks ahead, Warner Bros. could be staring at one of the year’s most expensive box-office disasters.

President Trump Says He Regrets Nominating Gorsuch, Kavanaugh, and Barrett to the Supreme Court

Credit: Erin Schaff/Pool/Getty Images

President Donald Trump says he now regrets putting all three of his first-term Supreme Court nominees, Neil Gorsuch, Brett Kavanaugh, and Amy Coney Barrett, on the nation’s highest court.

Trump made the stunning admission during a wide-ranging interview with TIME conducted at the White House on September 28 and published Thursday, October 1.

The president was asked directly whether he regretted the nominations after calling the trio “a shell of their original selves” in a recent Truth Social post.

“Yeah. Yeah. What can I do? I put them in,” Trump said, according to TIME. “They voted against me too often. I was very—I gave them the position of a lifetime, and they vote against me often. They vote for me too.”

Trump then turned his fire on the rulings that set him off. He called the court’s birthright citizenship decision a disaster that turned citizenship into “a corrupt business,” and he blasted the February tariff ruling that he said will cost America hundreds of billions.

“It’s unfortunate what they did—not to me, to our country,” Trump said of the citizenship case. “All they had to do was a little clause saying any money paid does not have to be paid back… would have saved $400 billion.”

As The Gateway Pundit reported in June, the court struck down Trump’s birthright citizenship executive order in a 5-4 decision, with Chief Justice John Roberts writing the majority opinion and Amy Coney Barrett joining Roberts, Elena Kagan, Sonia Sotomayor and Ketanji Brown Jackson.

Clarence Thomas and Samuel Alito issued blistering dissents. Gateway Pundit covered Thomas and Alito’s fury here.

In February, the court ruled 6-3 that the International Emergency Economic Powers Act did not authorize Trump’s sweeping emergency tariffs. Gorsuch and Barrett joined the majority. Kavanaugh dissented.

Last month, after the court blocked a Postal Service rule aimed at stopping ballots from going to ineligible voters, Trump unloaded again.

As The Gateway Pundit reported, only Alito and Thomas dissented. Trump wrote that “these are not the people I interviewed to serve on the United States Supreme Court, they are merely a shell of their original selves,” and accused certain justices of being “petrified of these crazed and depraved Democrats.”

In the TIME interview, Trump contrasted his own picks with the court’s three Democrat-appointed justices.

“The Democrats stick like glue — those three, they virtually never vary,” Trump said, referring to Sotomayor, Kagan and Jackson.

“You can come up with the worst thing in the world and they’ll vote as a group. And while I don’t like it, there’s something I admire about it: There’s loyalty. So they have loyalty to Barack Hussein Obama. They have loyalty to Biden, even though Biden doesn’t even know who the hell they are. He wouldn’t know. He doesn’t even know what the Supreme Court is. And me, I gave them the chance of a lifetime, and it’s unfortunate what they did.”

Asked whether he wants loyalty from his justices, Trump first said, “I do like loyalty, yeah.” Pressed, he added: “No, I don’t want loyalty. I want good decisions. The tariff decision was disastrous for the country. I want good decisions for the country.”

The three justices Trump now says he regrets nominating were sold to conservatives as the backbone of a 6-3 majority. Alito and Thomas, the two he still calls legends, have repeatedly been left writing dissents while Gorsuch, Kavanaugh and Barrett supplied the votes that kept birthright citizenship intact, blew up the tariff program, and blocked mail-ballot safeguards heading into the midterms.

Trump Immigration Crackdown Drives Tenfold Surge in Somali Deportation Orders in Minnesota

Credit: Gage Skidmore

President Donald Trump’s immigration crackdown is ramping up in Minnesota, where deportation orders issued to Somali nationals have increased nearly tenfold over the past year.

More than 500 Somalis living in Minnesota have been ordered deported in 2026, according to federal immigration court data analyzed by the Minnesota Star Tribune.

Meanwhile, a further thousand Somali asylum seekers have received deportation orders since February as the Trump administration moves to accelerate immigration cases that previously could languish in the system for years.

The administration terminated Temporary Protected Status (TPS) for Somalia back in January, ending a program that shielded eligible Somali nationals from deportation regardless of whether they had another legal basis to remain.

They also created an expedited immigration court docket for Somali asylum cases in February, allowing judges to decide cases that had previously been scheduled far into the future.

Federal officials argue that the accelerated process benefits legitimate asylum seekers while ensuring unsuccessful applicants can actually be removed.

“Unnecessary delay hurts both aliens with meritorious claims and the American public who wish to see aliens with non-meritorious claims removed as quickly as possible,” an immigration court spokesman said.

The changes come as immigration courts remain overwhelmed by millions of unresolved cases.

Some Somali nationals with final removal orders have already been deported, while others have been transferred into federal detention.

ICE recently transported a group of eight detainees through Guantánamo Bay before their removal to Africa.

The agency said members of the group had criminal histories that included aggravated assault, weapons offenses, robbery, larceny, obstruction, drug offenses and DUI.

The Trump administration has also expanded the use of third-country deportations, which allows authorities to send migrants cooperating nations when returning them to their countries of origin is not possible.

“Third country agreements are helping close one of the loopholes in our immigration system that has far too often been abused with false claims,” ICE said in a statement.

The increase also follows Operation Metro Surge, the Trump administration’s major immigration enforcement crackdown in Minnesota last winter in response to reports of massive welfare fraud within the Somali population.

Launched in December 2025, the operation resulted in thousands of arrests as federal agents targeted illegal immigrants across the state.

WATCH LIVE: President Trump Delivers Remarks at Rally for Husted and Ramaswamy in Dayton, Ohio

President Donald Trump speaks to supporters at a campaign rally in Durant, Oklahoma, on October 1, 2026, after severe weather forced him to make the trip from Texas by presidential motorcade instead of by air.

President Trump will deliver remarks at a campaign rally in Dayton, Ohio, tonight to campaign for GOP Senator Jon Husted and gubernatorial candidate Vivek Ramaswamy.

The rally at Vandalia-Butler High School tonight marks his fourth campaign rally this month after trips to Texas, Oklahoma, and Alabama earlier in the week.

Trump is expected to hold five to seven rallies a week during an October blitz.

Before departing the White House this afternoon, Trump spoke to reporters briefly and previewed his speech.

“We’re going to be campaigning for a couple of very good people. Vivek [Ramaswamy], we know about,” he said.

“As you know, Senator Husted is running a race against Brown, who’s horrible. They threw him out of the Senate once before. He’s horrible, and they should have success,” Trump continued. “We have a tremendous crowd of people. I won Ohio three times. We got the highest vote in the history of the state, so I like it very much. I love the people of Ohio, and we’re going to spend a little time.”

Trump further responded to a reporter asking if he thinks the cost of living will be the “biggest liability” for Republicans this election. “I inherited high costs from the Democrats or the Dumocrats, as I call them, because their policy is so bad,” he responded.

“But we inherited a lot, and we’ve gotten the prices down. Oil is coming down. Oil is, right now, lower, and it’s been lower than it was under the Biden administration, and they did nothing about the fact that Iran cannot have a nuclear weapon,” Trump added. “By the way, Iran, as you know, is virtually giving up any plans of a nuclear weapon.”

Trump is scheduled to speak at 7 pm ET.

Worst Coach in Sports History: Stephanie White Holds Press Conference after Epic Collapse in Playoffs – Says Top Priority Is Keeping Kelsey ‘Ball-Hog’ Mitchell and NOT Caitlin Clark

Stephanie White needs to be fired. Enough!

You just can’t make this up.

Stephanie White, arguably the worst coach in professional sports history, held a press conference on Saturday for some reason.

White held her presser as Caitlin Clark returned to a hero’s welcome to the University of Iowa and promoted her new basketball shoe — the best-selling women’s shoe in Nike history! The shoe sold out before Caitlin got out of bed!

But White never cared about Caitlin – the generational player that continues to break records on the court and in the sales department.

Clark had the most-watched games in the WNBA season once again.
Caitlin set the WNBA viewership record on CBS, NBC, ESPN, Prime, USA Network, and Ion.

This does not matter to White and the Fever franchise. They are all idiots in an idiot league.

On Saturday, White went before the media in what all Caitlin Clark fans were hoping was her exit interview.
No such luck.

During her interview, White announced that her first priority was securing a contract with Kelsey Mitchell???

Is this woman insane? She has Caitlin Clark on the team and she is focusing on securing a contract with ball-hog Kelsey Mitchell?
What is wrong with this woman?

Sports Patriot explains why this is so utterly retarded.

**IF KELSEY MITCHELL IS STEPHANIE WHITE’S #1 PRIORITY, IS CAITLIN CLARK THE ONE GETTING SQUEEZED OUT OF INDIANA?**

**THE SALARY CAP DOESN’T LIE. DO THE DAMN MATH.**

**INDIANA FEVER FANS… READ BETWEEN THE LINES.**

Stephanie White opens her end-of-season press conference by declaring that Kelsey Mitchell is her **NUMBER ONE PRIORITY.**

And then she REPEATS IT.

GOOD LORD. DOES ANYBODY IN THIS ORGANIZATION UNDERSTAND THE SALARY CAP?

Caitlin Clark is eligible to renegotiate her contract for 2027 under the WNBA’s new EPIC provision. She could command approximately $1.3 MILLION, and frankly, she has earned every penny.

Meanwhile, Indiana already has approximately **$4.57 MILLION COMMITTED TO JUST SEVEN PLAYERS** next season.

Aliyah Boston: $1.47 million.

Lexie Hull: $803,250.

Monique Billings: $800,000.

And those contracts aren’t simply disappearing because Stephanie White wants to keep her favorite scorer.

Now consider Kelsey Mitchell’s $1.4 million salary this season.

Using the current salary-cap framework, retaining Mitchell at that figure, paying Caitlin what she’s eligible to earn, and filling the mandatory roster spots would require roughly **$7.75 MILLION**.

That’s BEFORE retaining Sophie Cunningham or meaningfully upgrading this roster.

Yes, the 2027 cap will increase. Yes, trades and other roster changes are possible.

**BUT SOMEBODY HAD BETTER EXPLAIN HOW THE HELL THIS IS SUPPOSED TO WORK.**

Because Stephanie White just stood in front of the media and made Kelsey Mitchell her unmistakable NUMBER ONE PRIORITY.

TWICE.

And I have a question.

**WHERE THE HELL DOES THAT LEAVE CAITLIN CLARK?**

The generational talent who transformed this franchise, filled arenas, drove television audiences, and helped bring an entirely new generation of fans to the WNBA.

The player Indiana should be doing EVERYTHING in its power to build around.

We’re barely out of the playoffs, and the first thing we’re hearing is another declaration about Kelsey Mitchell.

After an entire season of questionable rotations, stagnant offensive schemes, and an inexplicable reluctance to maximize Caitlin Clark’s greatest strengths, I find that absolutely astonishing.

**STEPHANIE WHITE, THE SALARY CAP DOESN’T GIVE A DAMN ABOUT YOUR FAVORITES.**

You cannot keep handing out enormous contracts without making difficult basketball and financial decisions.

And the Indiana Fever have already made some incredibly questionable ones.

I want Caitlin Clark in Indiana.

I want her compensated appropriately.

And I want a roster built to WIN CHAMPIONSHIPS around her extraordinary abilities.

**SO BEFORE WE HEAR ONE MORE WORD ABOUT KELSEY MITCHELL BEING THE NUMBER ONE PRIORITY, I WANT SOMEBODY TO EXPLAIN HOW CAITLIN CLARK FITS INTO THE FINANCIAL AND BASKETBALL PLAN.**

Because right now, Stephanie White is giving Fever fans every reason to question the priorities of this organization.

**CAITLIN CLARK SHOULD BE THE FOUNDATION OF THE INDIANA FEVER’S FUTURE.**

**EVERY OTHER ROSTER DECISION SHOULD BE BUILT AROUND THAT REALITY.**

Stephanie White cannot be fired soon enough. The abuse Caitlin Clark takes in this league is like nothing we have ever seen. She is responsible for AT LEAST half of the viewership, and they all treat her like crap – including her train-wreck of a coach.

Last word from Stephanie – daddy issues.

FIRE STEPHANIE WHITE!
