President Trump on Friday afternoon stopped to chat with reporters before boarding Marine One en route to Mobile, Alabama.
Fox News reporter Peter Doocy asked President Trump about a third possible impeachment if the Democrats take control of Congress in the midterms.
Outgoing Democrat Rep. Al Green has initiated impeachment resolution against Trump too many times to count.
Rep. Green’s latest impeachment resolution failed with many Democrats voting “present.”
Top Democrats, including House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries, are distancing themselves from impeachment talk…for now.
President Trump brushed off potential future impeachments as “fake.”
“You’ve already been impeached twice, so what’s a third time?” Peter Doocy asked President Trump.
“Well, I don’t know, but I’m getting good at it,” Trump joked.
President Trump then took a swipe at Joe Biden and Hillary Clinton.
“We could have done that with Sleepy Joe, but we didn’t do it because it wouldn’t have been appropriate,” Trump said.
“I could have done that with Hillary Clinton, as you know. I’d have the chance to do it if I wanted. And I said that would be inappropriate. But with me, they like to do it,” he said.
Left wing author Malcolm Gladwell recently appeared on MSNOW’s ‘Morning Joe’ and suggested that the Second Amendment of the U.S. Constitution, which guarantees American citizens the right to bear arms, was really written about slave patrols.
He spends much of the segment complaining about the Supreme Court, which he says has been ‘a significant impediment’ in the left’s pursuit of gun control.
The most amazing thing is that what he is saying here is treated as completely normal by the hosts, who do not interrupt or correct him in any way.
MIKE BARNICLE, MS NOW CONTRIBUTOR: What do you say about a culture, American culture, that when a disease is identified and it’s threatening and it’s killing people, you can talk about from the inception of polio vaccines through AIDS, we — we react, we find — we find a cure almost immediately. People feel relieved. Guns have been killing Americans on the streets for decades — decades. And there’s nothing we can do.
GLADWELL: Yeah. I mean, here I have two chapters in the book on the Supreme Court. And the Supreme Court has been a significant impediment here. They have — the last two major gun rulings — in the Bruen case and the Heller case — are abominations. And I had — I actually have fun with them because in both of those cases, the court plays historian and plays linguist, because in the Heller case, of course, Scalia famously.
And the — and the fellow justices try to make sense of the grammatical convolution that is the Second Amendment, which, if you read, makes — no one would ever write that sentence today. It makes no sense whatsoever. It’s commas everywhere. There’s this weird initial what’s called an initial being clause. Does it modify the main clause? And all of these linguists lined up and told the court, “Okay, here’s how people in the 18th century used an initial being clause — here’s how James Madison used that clause. Here’s what James Madison meant.” What he meant was, we’re talking about militias here, and by militias he meant slave patrols, right? And the court had no interest.
Luigi Mangione mugshot (Pennsylvania Department of Corrections)
A professor from Rutgers University, who is also an ‘artist in residence’ at Harvard, recently called for freeing alleged killer Luigi Mangione during a ‘Fat Liberation’ panel at the Ivy League school.
For months now, various figures on the left have worked hard to transform Mangione from accused killer to American folk hero. It’s utterly bizarre.
The left keeps showing themselves to be on the wrong side of the law in horrific cases and this one is no exception.
Roxane Gay, Rutgers University professor artist-in-residence for Harvard’s Master of Science in Media, Medicine and Health and Media and Medicine Certificiate Program at Harvard Medical School, called for the release of Luigi Mangione, who pleaded guilty in August to federal stalking charges resulting in death in connection with the killing of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson, during a Harvard panel Wednesday examining fatness and healthcare.
When the discussion turned to the health insurance industry, Gay responded, “Free Luigi, for one,” and then Gay went on to call the health insurance industry “equal opportunity evil,” The College Fix reported.
In a Wednesday post on X from Stu Smith, an investigative analyst at the Manhattan Institute, Smith wrote, “At tonight’s Harvard Medical School event, artist-in-residence Roxane Gay responded to a question about the health insurance industry with ‘Free Luigi.’”
Smith continued, “Minutes earlier, Gay admitted she uses concierge medicine after deciding to ‘throw money at this problem’ and ‘buy my way out’ of ordinary healthcare. Gay, incidentally, is former Harvard president Claudine Gay’s first cousin. We all know Harvard is morally bankrupt at this point, but this was a great reminder.”
Gay made the remarks during the Harvard Medical School’s “Against the Pathology of Unruly Bodies” event, which focused on what organizers described as the “intersection of fatness and healthcare” and how medical professionals treat overweight patients.

President Trump on Friday called out Kamala Harris for stealing his signature 2024 catchphrase, “too big to rig,” after pointing out that she’s been using “our term.”
“They steal so much,” Trump said. “We made it because the election was rigged in 2020,” he continued, driving the crowd crazy.
Harris already tried to steal Trump’s policy of no tax on tips back on the campaign trail in August 2024, when she announced at a rally that she would “eliminate taxes on tips for service and hospitality workers.” Trump previously called Harris out for stealing his idea while delivering remarks in Vegas in August.
Now, Harris has made Trump’s “too big to rig” slogan a focal point of her midterm messaging multiple times in the last few months.
While speaking at the National Urban League Conference in Nashville, Tennessee, in July, Harris accused Republicans of cheating and tried out the not-so-new phrase.
“In light of and in this environment where they are cheating, we will be too big to rig,” she said. “Too big to rig.”
Likewise, in August, she declared in a social media video, looking like she just woke up on the floor after hitting the bottle, “They are cheating, they are trying to cheat, and we have got to turn out in big numbers and be too big to rig.”
Then, last month, Harris put out another social media clip, urging voters to register and accusing Republicans again of “cheating” by purging voter rolls. “There’s so much at stake, and we got to be too big to rig,” she said. “They’re gonna try and cheat? Let’s be too big to rig.”
And just last week, at an NAACP event in Detroit focused on black voter outreach, Harris screeched “Too big to rig” in her heavily emphasized fake ebonic accent before breaking out cackling.
Trump took notice and blasted the failed presidential candidate while speaking in Mobile, Alabama, on Friday evening.
“We’re gonna make it too big to rig. We’re gonna make it — you know, Kamala, like two weeks ago, I’m watching her answering questions, and she said, ‘We’re going to make our election too big to rig.’ She took my term,” he told the crowd.
“They steal so much, and she got killed for that one, by the way. No – ‘too big to rig’ is our term. We made it because the election was rigged in 2020, and but I knew how well we did, and everyone else did too. And I said, ‘Well, we’re going to do it again. We’re going to make it too big to rig, and they’re not going to be able.’ And that’s what we did.”
Trump further pointed to his thrashing of Harris in the 2024 election, saying, “we won every vote you could win” and “now we have the hottest country anywhere in the world.”
Democrat Xavier Becerra and Steve Hilton face off in California gubernatorial debate (September 30, 2026)
California Republican gubernatorial candidate Steve Hilton went off on Democrat Xavier Becerra during their debate this week on CNN, reminding him on live TV that his colleague in the Biden Administration, Susan Rice, referred to him as an “idiot” and a “b*tch ass.”
It can be recalled that Rice, a leading figure in Biden’s failed wide-open border approach, reportedly held deep animosity toward Becerra over his failures in providing trafficked children with shelters during the Biden border crisis.
Even the architect of the plan to give away control of the border to the cartels and smugglers was fed up with Becerra’s negligence, so much so that she called him an “idiot” and a “b*tch ass” in private conversations.
Now, Becerra wants to be the chief executive of a border state, which is already overrun with illegal immigrants and violent criminals.
Hilton reminded Becerra and the world of Susan Rice’s condemnation of him during his tenure as Health and Human Services Secretary under Biden, telling him live on stage, “She described you as an idiot. She called you bitch ass.”
Further, the Hilton campaign also made a website, slamming him with the nickname, “B*tch–ass Becerra” and a website dedicated to the new title.
“Chaos. Fraud. Child trafficking. Gender extremism. Higher costs for you. Empty Suit Becerra stood by and did nothing. He enabled it all,” the website reads.
“Susan Rice called him ‘b*tch-ass’ and an ‘idiot.’ Nancy Pelosi told Biden not to put him in the Cabinet. Obama’s speechwriter said ‘nobody in the administration has anything good to say about him.’ Former Biden official Xochitl Hinojosa said he was not an effective HHS secretary. ‘I do not think he is qualified to be the governor,’ a former colleague said. ‘I don’t think he’s qualified to be the boss of anything.’”
During the debate on Wednesday, Hilton thrashed the Democratic nominee after Becerra accused him of being all talk and no action, saying, “You just say the talk, but you’ve never done it.”
“What I’ve never done is what you’ve done in your 36 years as a career politician, where you’ve never created a job, you’ve never actually had to make any money of your own,” Hilton fired back. “All you’ve ever done is spent other people’s money in every government job you’ve had.”
Then he ended Becerra by saying, “according to your Democrat colleagues, the ones who worked with you, like Susan Rice, who worked with you side-by-side when you were in the Biden cabinet, she described you as an idiot. She called you bitch-ass. Why did Susan Rice, a respected political leader, call you an idiot?”
Becerra stammered back, claiming he created “millions of jobs” as a member of Congress, by fighting Trump as Attorney General, and in his role as HHS Secretary and trying to recover from the brutal hit.
WATCH:
Throughout the debate, as the Gateway Pundit reported, Hilton destroyed Becerra on his record as HHS Secretary under Biden, where he lost track of hundreds of thousands of unaccompanied minors who were trafficked across the border and likely sold into slavery.
“When you were HHS Secretary, you were responsible for 479,000 unaccompanied migrant children and for their welfare in camps that you ran. You sent them because you dismantled the vetting that should have made sure that they were with a safe, protective family or sponsor,” Hilton said.
“You sent thousands of young children directly into the clutches of child sex and labor traffickers; hundreds of thousands of children that you were responsible for are still missing today. 100,000 of them are under ten years old, so I cannot believe that you have not apologized, that you haven’t any kind of sense of shame or responsibility for what you did to those children, and you stand here lecturing people about immigration.”
Becerra could be seen nervously sipping his coffee and smiling as Hilton reminded him of his evil record of putting children in harm’s way.
Retiring RINO Senator Thom Tillis (R-NC) is cashing in on his war with President Trump — and he is not even pretending to be polite about it.
According to ZeroHedge, citing Politico’s reporting, Tillis handed over screenshots of two profanity-laced texts he claims he sent President Donald Trump earlier this year. The messages are set to appear in his forthcoming memoir, How to Lose Friends and Antagonize Presidents: The Trouble with Sycophants, Courage Outsourcing, and Partisan Groupthink, due out October 6.
On May 22, Tillis texted the president: “I still want to help but I don’t take this bull**** from anyone, including you Mr. President. Save that s*** for the cowards who don’t care if you fail. I care if you fail and right now we are failing.”
That message landed the same day Trump blasted Tillis on Truth Social as a “nitpicker” who was “always fighting against the Republican Party.”
Then, on June 6, Tillis went further, not by actually telling Trump off, but by bragging about what he would have said.
“As I have said before, you NEVER threatened me with a primary challenge. I get that you may have me confused with so many Republicans that you have threatened in the past, but NEVER me,” Tillis wrote on the text.
“If you had ever threatened me directly with a primary, I would have immediately told you to f*** yourself, and I would have announced my retirement immediately. Save those threats and head games for cowards and fools.”
The outgoing senator is selling the episode as courage. Voters in North Carolina already know the rest of the story.
And this is hardly the first time Tillis’s private frustration with Trump and the MAGA wing of the Republican Party has spilled into public view.
As The Gateway Pundit previously reported in June, a leaked email from Tillis to his Republican Senate colleagues showed the retiring senator complaining about Trump’s continued push for the SAVE America Act and criticizing Senator Tommy Tuberville after Tuberville publicly called out Republicans who opposed the legislation.
In that email, Tillis argued that additional votes on the SAVE America Act created political problems for vulnerable Republican senators and criticized members of his own party for publicly attacking colleagues who opposed the measure.
The feud only grew from there.
In July, The Gateway Pundit reported that Tillis took to the Senate floor and vowed to use procedural tools to slow government business if another version of the SAVE America Act was advanced through reconciliation. Tillis argued that the election-related legislation could not realistically be implemented on the accelerated timetable being proposed.
Then in September, Tillis turned his fire on Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth.
The Gateway Pundit reported at the time that Tillis publicly urged Trump to replace Hegseth, accusing the Pentagon chief of mismanaging military leadership. Hegseth had originally been confirmed by the Senate in 2025 after Vice President JD Vance cast the tie-breaking vote.
Trump, meanwhile, has made little attempt to hide his own hostility toward the retiring senator.
Following one dispute, Trump publicly called Tillis a “loser” and said the North Carolina Republican was angry because he would soon be leaving the Senate.
Now Americans are getting a look at what Tillis was saying privately.
The University of Delaware is being sued by the Department of Justice for giving illegal immigrants a tuition discount to which they are not entitled.
The school allows illegal immigrants to qualify for the lower tuition rate charged for Delaware residents, according to a Justice Department news release.
American citizens who do not live in Delaware do not qualify, the release said, leading to a situation where illegal immigrants are given preference over Americans.
The University of Delaware allows illegal immigrants to attend at a tuition rate of $15,740, the rate for state residents. The rate for students from outside of the state is $42,470.
“This Department of Justice’s efforts will not cease until we have challenged every state law or university policy that gives preferential treatment to illegal aliens over our Nation’s own citizens,” Associate Attorney General Stanley Woodward Jr. said in the release.
“Congress long ago made clear that states cannot give reduced tuition to illegal aliens not available to all Americans. When a state Attorney General allows her own state to violate federal law, this department must step in to enforce it,” he continued.
Assistant Attorney General Brett Shumate of the Justice Department’s Civil Division said that “this is a simple matter of federal law: colleges cannot provide benefits to illegal aliens that they do not provide to U.S. citizens.”
NOW: The Department of Justice has SUED the University of Delaware to abolish their in-state tuition for illegal aliens
Stop DISCRIMINATING against US citizens! Any school who does this needs to be severed and defunded
“This Department of Justice will not tolerate American students being treated like second-class citizens in their own country,” he added.
The lawsuit seeks to end the current policy and prevent the college from adopting a new policy to disregard the law.
The lawsuit noted that the “preferential treatment” Delaware grants illegal immigrants “is squarely prohibited by federal law mandating that ‘an alien who is not lawfully present in the United States shall not be eligible on the basis of residence within a State… for any postsecondary education benefit unless a citizen or national of the United States is eligible for such a benefit… without regard to whether the citizen or national is such a resident.’”
The lawsuit also argued that giving illegal immigrants a public benefit needs a state legislature to act. That did not happen in this case.
The news release noted that it now has filed 26 lawsuits to stop giving tuition discounts to illegal immigrants.
The release said Texas, Kentucky, Oklahoma, Nebraska, Illinois, and Kansas have had to modify their policies.
Lawsuits are pending against Minnesota, Virginia, California, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Maryland, Colorado, New York, Connecticut, Vermont, Arizona, New Mexico, Oregon, Washington, Hawaii, the District of Columbia, Arkansas, and Utah.
Tennessee Department of Correction shows Christa Pike on Jan. 12, 2023.
Christa Pike is unconscious and on a ventilator after a botched execution late Wednesday evening, her attorneys said.
Christa Pike, 50, was sentenced to death for a 1995 fatal stabbing, torture and beating of 19-year-old Colleen Slemmer.
An inverted pentagram was carved into Slemmer’s chest during the gruesome murder.
Pike was 18 at the time of the murder. Pike’s boyfriend, Tadaryl Shipp, was also convicted of the 1995 murder.
Earlier Wednesday, the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals voted 2-1 to halt the execution to determine whether Pike’s allegations of childhood sexual abuse were taken into consideration during her death penalty sentencing.
Tennessee’s Attorney General immediately appealed to the Supreme Court. A few hours later, the Supreme Court allowed Tennessee to go forward with the execution.
The US Supreme Court allowed Tennessee’s execution of Christa Pike to move forward.
The drama wasn’t over yet because late Wednesday night, Christa Pike’s attorneys said that Tennessee executioners administered two syringes of pentobarbital and Pike was still alive.
Pike was snoring as she was strapped down to a gurney inside Riverbend Maximum Security Institution in Nashville.
She was later rushed to a hospital and is currently intubated.
Legal experts have warned that the Supreme Court has barred the execution of a condemned prisoner who is medically unconscious.
An unconscious or comatose person cannot be executed because they lack awareness, legal experts warned.
A Tennessee death row inmate remained unconscious on a ventilator Friday after surviving the state’s failed attempt to execute her this week, and her attorneys accused prison officials of ignoring months of warnings that the lethal injection could go catastrophically wrong.
“Christa remains critically ill and is receiving medical care for the devastating effects of Wednesday night’s events,” attorneys Stephen Ferrell and Luke Ihnen said in a statement Friday. “As detailed in today’s filing, Christa remains hospitalized following Wednesday night’s failed execution attempt.
“She is critically ill, unconscious, intubated and receiving breathing assistance through a ventilator,” they added. “She is being treated for the serious effects of the pentobarbital administered during the execution attempt, including significant injuries to both arms.”
The emergency motion paints a far more detailed picture of what Pike’s attorneys say unfolded inside the execution chamber.
Pike’s team contends the execution team struggled to establish IV access, using at least seven needles before administering two lethal doses of pentobarbital.
The motion says Pike arrived at the hospital with both arms “swollen, burned, and blistered.” It also says medical experts have compared pentobarbital to “bleach” or “Drano,” describing it as a highly caustic substance capable of burning skin, tissue and veins.
Sen. Bill Hagerty filed a formal complaint with the Tennessee Supreme Court’s Board of Professional Responsibility seeking the disbarment of former Special Counsel Jack Smith
Sen. Bill Hagerty (R-TN) has asked the Tennessee bar to strip former Special Counsel Jack Smith of his law license, accusing the Biden-era prosecutor of hiding critical facts from a federal judge so he could secretly seize the call logs of sitting U.S. senators, including Hagerty’s own.
On September 30, 2026, one day after Smith testified before the Senate Judiciary Committee, Hagerty sent a four-page formal complaint to R. Culver Schmid, chairman of the Board of Professional Responsibility of the Supreme Court of Tennessee.
Smith’s Tennessee bar number is 034063. Hagerty is demanding the harshest penalty on the books: disbarment.
“I filed a bar complaint against Jack Smith this morning,” Hagerty wrote on X. “He’s a blatantly partisan actor and his prosecutorial misconduct damaged our constitutional order. He should never be able to practice law again.” He closed with a warning: “Next up, @Verizon.”
I filed a bar complaint against Jack Smith this morning. He’s a blatantly partisan actor and his prosecutorial misconduct damaged our constitutional order. He should never be able to practice law again.
According to the complaint, Smith, while serving as special counsel in the Biden Justice Department, sent a grand jury subpoena to Verizon for non-content telephone records of sitting senators. Those logs show who called whom, the date, and how long the call lasted. They do not include the words spoken. The records, Hagerty says, “pertained to our duties as legislators.”
Attached to that subpoena was a secret nondisclosure order signed by D.C. Chief Judge James Boasberg. The order barred Verizon from telling anyone, senators included, that the government had come for the data.
Hagerty says Smith also sent Verizon a letter threatening an obstruction-of-justice charge if the company disobeyed. By the time Hagerty learned of the grab, Verizon had already turned the records over. He never got a chance to fight the subpoena in court.
The complaint’s core charge is lack of candor. Hagerty says the papers Smith put in front of Boasberg left out the facts that would have told the judge what he was actually signing.
They did not say the phones belonged to members of Congress. They did not mention the Speech or Debate Clause, the constitutional shield for lawmaker talk about bills, votes, committee work, and caucus business.
And they did not mention 2 U.S.C. § 6628, the federal statute that says a phone company serving a Senate office cannot be barred from notifying the Senate when someone seeks Senate data.
“Smith’s motion omitted the facts and law that would lead the judge to realize what he was ruling on,” Hagerty wrote. The order itself, he adds, was “apparently also written by Smith, and rubber-stamped by the judge.” Nowhere does that order mention the Speech or Debate Clause, the Senate-notification statute, or that the targets were members of Congress.
Smith’s explanation, given under oath, was that he did not think telling the court was Department policy at the time. In a September 29 deposition response to Sen. Ted Cruz, Smith again said: “We submitted these nondisclosure orders consistent with the law and department policy.”
Hagerty calls that no excuse. “Bureaucratic policy cannot supersede the Constitution or a federal statute.” He also argues the 2017 and 2022 DOJ memos on protective orders still required a prosecutor to give the court enough facts for a real, case-specific review — and that Smith did not.
Tennessee ethics rules, the complaint says, require a lawyer in a one-sided, ex parte hearing to tell the tribunal every material fact, “whether or not the facts are adverse,” and to flag legal authority that cuts against his position. Hagerty says Smith violated, at minimum, Rules of Professional Conduct 3.3(a) and 8.4(c)–(d).
The filing asks the board to pursue disbarment, citing what Hagerty calls intentional conduct, the total cutoff of any appeal, the chilling effect on private legislative talks, the harm to the constitutional order, and Smith’s “lack of remorse.”
The Tennessee board has not yet said whether it will open an investigation. Smith has maintained that his team followed the law and the policy then in place.
The dispute comes amid escalating scrutiny of Arctic Frost on Capitol Hill.
As The Gateway Pundit previously reported, Senate Judiciary Chairman Chuck Grassley released records in 2025 showing that Hagerty was among eight Republican senators whose phone records were examined during the investigation.
The Gateway Pundit also previously reported that Arctic Frost generated 197 subpoenas involving hundreds of Republican individuals and organizations, according to documents released by Grassley.
And just this week, The Gateway Pundit reported that fellow Tennessee Sen. Marsha Blackburn filed a separate federal lawsuit against Smith over the acquisition of her phone records.
Hagerty’s latest filing now puts a separate question before Tennessee’s lawyer-discipline system: whether Smith’s handling of the secret subpoena and nondisclosure request violated the professional obligations that accompany his Tennessee law license.
