A football fan apparently took his devotion to an extremely disturbing level earlier this month and is now facing criminal charges.
Virginia Statewide Incidents LLC revealed earlier this week that a 64-year-old Richmond, Virginia man named Terry Ward stands accused of tying his wife to a chair and leaving her restrained in the basement of their home while he watched football upstairs.
The incident occurred on October 11. The two teams playing that night were the Baltimore Ravens and the Atlanta Falcon, a game the Ravens won 30-23 in overtime.
Richmond Police say they received a call around 11:30 p.m. for a reported domestic disturbance.
Upon arrival, they spoke with an adult woman, who identified herself as Ward’s wife.
Virginia Statewide Incidents LLC notes that the responding officer revealed that the woman stated Ward had previously tied her up to a chair using tape in their home’s basement.
Police also say that the woman had marks and sticky tape residue around both of her arms.
She added that she had been tied up for between 30 and 45 minutes while he watched the Ravens and Falcons upstairs alone.
Virginia Statewide Incidents LLC adds that an officer documented Ward admitting to tying his wife up.
“When I arrived on scene, [name redacted] stated that her husband had tied her to a chair with tape in the basement,” a police officer said in a criminal complaint filed in Richmond court that Virginia Statewide Incidents LLC viewed.
“Ward Terry stated that he did indeed tied his wife [name redacted] to a chair and place[d] her down in the basement.”
Court documents obtained by Virginia Statewide Incidents LLC show that Ward was charged with felony abduction and misdemeanor assault on a family member.
Court records viewed by Virginia Statewide Incidents LLC show that oth Ward’s arraignment and bond hearing were continued earlier this week.
Ward’s next court appearance is scheduled for November 10 in Richmond Juvenile and Domestic Relations District Court.
Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni/ Image: Video screenshot
While French President Emmanuel Macron, unsurprisingly, chose to blame his fellow French citizens for the violent Islamo-Marxist riots tearing through his country and spreading across Europe.
Originally framed as ‘student’ protests that ignited over so-called crowded classrooms and teacher shortages, the protests expanded to other cities and countries and became violent as Muslim migrants used them as an excuse to take over the streets.
Now, Meloni has announced a new decree and four new measures to combat violent riots and looting, noting that people of foreign background constitute half of the 330 people arrested and detained so far.
The new measures include prison sentences of up to 5 years and fines of €20,000 for participating in violent protests.
Under the new decree:
Rioters acting in groups of 5 or more face tougher penalties, particularly if they conceal their faces or injure someone
Parents will be held financially responsible for damage caused by their underage children.
Preventive detention powers will be extended to minors.
An additional 500 soldiers will be deployed to Milan until the end of the year.
Juvenile courts and detention facilities will receive additional resources.
“We have all seen the footage of the violence that swept through Milan and other Italian cities over the weekend, with shops being ransacked, shop windows smashed and police officers attacked. No one can possibly downplay or justify such unacceptable scenes. This is why the Council of Ministers has today approved a decree introducing new measures to prevent and combat this violence. These are in addition to the other measures that have been approved over the last months, starting with biometric recognition – also using artificial intelligence – in order to put a name to those hiding behind a hoodie. I’ll explain the new provisions introduced by today’s measures in the simplest possible terms.”
“First, we have established a new crime: violent participation in a protest. In other words, if you join a group of five or more people during a march or a protest and you start throwing stones, firecrackers, sticks – jeopardising everyone’s safety – then you risk up to five years’ imprisonment and a fine of up to EUR 20,000. If your face was covered or you injured someone, then those sentences are increased, and there are also harsher penalties for those who commit acts of destruction as part of a group.”
“Second, we are applying a simple principle: if you break something, you pay, and if you break something and you’re under 18, then your parents pay. How does this work? If the damage has been caused to public property, such as a bus shelter, a traffic light or a police or army vehicle, then the Prefecture will send a payment order to your house. If the damage has been caused to private property, such as a shop window, a store or someone’s car, then the owner can go to court and obtain an immediately enforceable payment order.”
“It will of course be possible to appeal but, in the meantime, the parents of that young person who had fun smashing everything will have to pay. Those who have suffered the damage may seek compensation from everything – from that family’s assets and even any money the State may owe them. ”
“Third: juveniles. At the moment, in the case of a young person aged between 14 and 18, the State has to prove each time that they were capable of understanding what they were doing. We have already approved legislation to overturn this principle, namely with the presumption that they were capable of understanding what they were doing, unless proven otherwise. That piece of legislation is currently before Parliament, but today’s decree makes it immediately effective. Moreover, the preventive detention measure, which until now was only applicable to adults, can now be applied to minors too.”
“Fourth: 500 additional soldiers will be arriving in Milan, who will work alongside the police and Carabinieri officers until the end of the year. We are also providing the youth justice system with more judges and prosecutors as well as more places in detention centres, so that the certainty of punishment also applies to 16-year-olds.”
“These are the main measures, because we will do everything we can to prevent what we have seen over the last few days from becoming the norm. Almost 200 officers have been injured and, according to Confcommercio, the damage in Milan alone amounts to approximately EUR 1 million. Who was out on those streets and squares? There were the usual fringe agitators – the ones who look for clashes at every protest march – but, alongside them, there was something new this time. Hundreds of very young people, very many of them under the age of 18, arrived in small groups after being called together by a video on social media; kids came out onto the streets to smash things and steal while filming themselves doing it. We must seriously address this phenomenon, also in order to prevent those images from becoming an example to be copied.”
“However, I also want to be clear: there is no political idea, social hardship or opposition to the Government that can justify a shop being destroyed to take its merchandise. Behind that shop window is a family who has invested a lifetime’s worth of sacrifices, there are workers who risk losing their jobs and there are citizens who have the right to enjoy their city without fear. There is nothing revolutionary about vandalism and theft.”
“Vandalism and theft are not a protest; they are a crime. And the State must respond firmly. Public security forces have detained and arrested 330 people, half of whom are of foreign origin – either born abroad or born in Italy to foreign families. I expect the crimes that have been committed to be swiftly prosecuted and all available regulations to be strictly enforced, including those in the recent ‘security decrees’. ”
“There is one fact in particular which, in my view, should make everyone stop and think: the youngest of the minors identified in Milan is reportedly just 11 years old. This is painful and frightening, and it concerns us all. We cannot allow some youngsters to grow up thinking that smashing a window is a way of getting respect, or that some views on social media are worth more than their future. We cannot accept anyone ending up justifying them for political convenience or perhaps for self-promotion. We understand the difficulties that many young people face, and we know what it means to be looking for a job, to have inadequate pay and to see no prospects for the future. We have been working on these problems since the very start of our term and will continue to do so; we work on them every day. ”
“However, hardship cannot become an excuse for violence, first and foremost because violence only exacerbates hardship; it cannot cure it. Secondly, because when a shop window is shattered, it is not those in power who pay the price; it is the shopkeepers, the workers and the local area – precisely the ordinary people who some claim they want to defend.”
“I want to be equally clear in distinguishing between those who commit acts of violence and those who protest peacefully to ask for answers. I am thinking of the farmers, the truck drivers, the workers at the former Ilva steel plant and the many communities going through difficult times – the Government engages in dialogue with them and is working to find solutions. Just today, Minister Salvini met with representatives from the road haulage industry to address the sector’s difficulties and identify additional responses. The State that is saying no to violence is the same State that is listening to those who protest while respecting others. It is precisely on this distinction that I am also asking for clarity from all the political forces. Acts of violence must be condemned without ambiguity, without justifications and without distinctions based on who commits them.”
“I think it is extremely serious that institutional representatives have gone so far as to publicise information on getting free legal assistance following the devastation in Milan. I consider any attempt at presenting looting and destruction as a legitimate way of raising social grievances to be unacceptable. Those with political responsibility should be the first to point out that no cause can authorise workers being targeted, public security officers being attacked or our cities being destroyed.”
“This is why I am calling for everyone, regardless of their political views, to stand on the side of lawfulness, freedom and respect for the rules. We will continue to do our part to protect those who protest peacefully, those who work and those who simply want to live in safety.”
“Protesting is a right, tearing our cities apart is not. We have said so, and we will prove it through our actions.”

American service members and their families who were stationed at Marine Corps Camp Lejeune in North Carolina between 1953 and 1987 were potentially exposed to toxic drinking water.
During the period in question, people living or working at the base were potentially exposed to contaminated drinking water containing industrial solvents.
Some of the chemicals included trichloroethylene (TCE) and perchloroethylene (PCE) from dry-cleaning waste, and benzene from leaking underground fuel storage tanks, which were detected in the water on the base.
Some of the associated diseases include:
Adult leukemia
Aplastic anemia and other myelodysplastic syndromes
Bladder cancer
Kidney cancer
Liver cancer
Multiple myeloma
Non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma
Parkinson’s disease
According to the Department of Justice (DOJ), since President Trump returned in January 2025, about 3,300 claimants have received more than $919.7 million. Prior to his return, only 459 settlements had been paid.
The administration has paid out about 3,300 people who made claims under the 2022 law. From that year to the beginning of 2025, before Trump retook office, only 459 settlements had been paid, totaling $59.6 million.
Payments under the program range from $100,000 to $550,000, depending on the illness.
During a rally in North Carolina on Tuesday night, the President shared, “Tonight I’m pleased to announce my administration has delivered $1 billion in cash settlements to these veterans and their families, in addition to 3.1 billion for the VA and ordering the DOJ to settle all remaining legitimate claims as soon as possible.”
“We don’t want to give any to the trial lawyers; we want it all to go to the families.”

Fairfield Township, New Jersey, is a perfect object lesson in what happens when entitled minority populations decide that they can play by their own rules.
Al-Ghazaly High School is an Islamic private institution in the New York City suburbs. Local officials approved the school, run by the Islamic Education Foundation, based on the understanding that it would school 90 students in its current property, according to a report from The New Jersey Progress.
Instead, the school has enrolled around 313 students since it was given a Certificate of Re-Occupancy earlier this year, and practically demanded that local authorities increase its authorized student number to 400.
During a planning board meeting last Tuesday, IEF Schools executive director Hayat Jaludi defended her decision to blatantly disregard the student limit based on the fact that, well, kids wanted to be educated.
Sure, she didn’t have permission, but she apparently didn’t think she needed it to flood the school and break the regulations.
“Hold on, hold on — how can you have 314 students in a building when you’re only allowed to have 90?” one of the board members asked.
Jaludi said that “we came into this building assuming that we have the occupancy of whatever enrolled students we have.”
“Unfortunately, um, we attempted to have the 90 student capacity — if there are any educators in this room, you’ll understand and appreciate the importance of not disrupting or interrupting students’ right to be educated.”
Not that they couldn’t be educated elsewhere, mind you. It’s not as if Fairfield is a public school desert, where there’s no education available unless they go to Al-Ghazaly High School.
“We made the decision to try to run the school with that capacity of students and we’ve been successful so far,” she told the board.
“I wouldn’t say we blatantly decided that it doesn’t matter,” she added.
“We are law-abiding citizens. We understand. However, I do have a community of 313 students with an interruption to their education.”
Translation: We’re law-abiding, unless we decide the law is problematic.
This pretty much describes every criminal, who abides by most laws except for the ones they break. Courts and jails are filled with defendants and criminals who didn’t break most rules and laws, but have infringed upon some that they found onerous.
The town of Fairfield, NJ gave approval for a Muslim school, with a cap of 90 students.
5 weeks in and they already got busted for flooding the town with HUNDREDS more.
Here’s the infuriating exchange: https://t.co/0GnBAx2kAX
At least the school’s lawyer had the common sense to say that the occupancy problem was “news to me.” Jaludi, on the other hand, seemed thoroughly unfazed.
This school had 247 percent more students than it was legally allowed to have, as the U.K. Daily Mail pointed out.
If this were a public school, the superintendent would likely be trying to vigorously cover this fact up. Instead, we have a woman loudly and proudly declaiming that she has every right to go back on her word because “I have to answer to 150 families.”
And what sets this school apart? The fact that it’s Islamic, of course. Thus, answering to 150 Muslim families is more important than answering to the law, or even reporting the variance before she went in front of the planning board.
This isn’t just about limiting the number of students that can safely be in a building, although it’s certainly about that. This creates a traffic and parking nightmare for other residents of Fairfield, as well as other logistical and safety issues.
Can you imagine what the government would do to a Christian school that just unilaterally decided it needed hundreds and hundreds more seats than a town had given it permission to have? If the planning board didn’t raise an objection, the establishment media certainly would do the work for them.
Thankfully, Fairfield Mayor William Galese seemed unintimidated by the school’s demands.
“We have a community of 8,000 people who need to be answered for, and this is exactly one of the things they put us here to do,” he said during the meeting, and other board members were similarly unmoved.
“When I drive down the Garden State Parkway and there are no cars on the road, I know my car can do 120 miles an hour,” a board member said during the showdown. “It doesn’t mean I can do it. You don’t have the jurisdiction to make that decision unilaterally.”
When Jaludi said this wasn’t “a haphazard decision,” Galese said that “it wasn’t your decision to make.”
And therein lies the whole conflict here: America has rules, and what we’ll charitably call diverse communities do not think that those rules apply if they’re not aligned with what they want to do.
Not that there aren’t other people who have contempt for local, state, and federal regulations, mind you — but when there’s a consistent pattern among entitled minority populations who want to be judged by their own standards, we have an issue.
The school now faces summonses for its violations and will have another hearing on Nov. 10. One hopes that the Fairfield Township planning board stands firm and doesn’t reward cavalier disregard for local rules and regulations.
The Medicaid fraud scandal in Democrat-run Minnesota just took another disturbing turn.
Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) Administrator Dr. Mehmet Oz revealed Tuesday that fraudsters allegedly paid mothers as much as $1,500 per child to falsely claim their children had autism, exploiting vulnerable families and draining taxpayer-funded healthcare programs.
And according to Oz, the damage went far beyond stolen taxpayer dollars.
During an October 20 appearance alongside President Donald Trump and Vice President JD Vance, Oz described how fraudulent autism service providers allegedly exploited children to collect Medicaid reimbursements, leaving some youngsters burdened with inaccurate medical diagnoses while families genuinely needing services faced additional obstacles.
“Moms were getting bribed $1,500 a kid to lie that their child had autism,” Oz said.
BREAKING: Dr. Oz just revealed one of the sickest fraud schemes in Minnesota, and it targeted kids with autism.
Per Oz, moms were being bribed $1,500 a kid to falsely claim their child had autism. Those kids got saddled with a fake diagnosis, and real families who needed help got shoved aside.
Oz said it plainly: “Fraud does not just steal our money. Fraud steals people’s lives.”
After Nick Shirley’s reporting, CMS found that a third of all providers in Minnesota’s 14 high-risk areas couldn’t be validated. Dozens of cases are now underway.
They used sick kids as a piggy bank. Lock up every last one of them.
The CMS administrator warned that falsely labeling a child autistic could have lasting consequences, while fraudulent claims also diverted resources intended for children with legitimate developmental needs.
“Fraud doesn’t just steal our money. Fraud steals people’s lives, and it also steals our trust as a nation,” Oz declared.
This is not new. The Gateway Pundit previously reported extensively on the same pattern under Democratic Gov. Tim Walz.
In January, TGP covered Oz ordering a full-scale federal audit of Minnesota Medicaid, noting that bad actors, largely tied to the state’s Somali community, had gamed programs including autism services, offering kickbacks to parents for enrolling children in fake treatment centers while using the proceeds for flashy cars, overeas real estate, and more. Walz’s administration, Oz said at the time, had been “asleep at the wheel,” with leaders reportedly hesitant to act forcefully out of fear of political backlash from a key voting bloc.
Earlier coverage detailed how the state’s autism program ballooned amid minimal oversight, with only a handful of hundreds of centers applying for proper licenses and widespread billing for services never delivered by unqualified staff.
Senator John Kennedy highlighted on the Senate floor the bribery of Somali parents, $400 to $1,500 per child, to obtain false certifications, with one operator also linked to the infamous Feeding Our Future child nutrition fraud.

Here is the latest edition of Democrats being Democrats.
California Democrats spent over half of the a billion dollars the US government allocated to wildfire relief funding on low-income housing in the state without requiring the developers to house a single fire victim.
Of course, this does not surprise anyone.
The funding took place in 2019 when Gavin Newsome was
California funneled nearly $369 million in federal aid intended for victims of its deadliest wildfire year to low-income housing developers — without requiring them to house a single wildfire survivor, a California Post investigation found.
The staggering sum was awarded to developers while thousands of Californians struggled to rebuild their lives after the devastating 2018 fires, which killed 103 people and damaged or destroyed more than 24,000 structures.
Eventually, over a billion dollars was given to California from the Department of Housing and Urban Development.
The $1,017,399,000 allocation from the US Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) was intended to cover recovery costs not paid by insurance or other assistance.
California’s Department of Housing and Community Development (HCD) oversees the money, dividing it between helping homeowners rebuild and financing affordable rental housing in fire-ravaged communities.
Of the $222.4 million earmarked for homeowners, just $38 million had been spent rebuilding 110 homes by the end of 2023, according to state records. The Camp Fire alone destroyed 14,000 homes.
An NBC4 investigation found that only a portion of the $2.5 billion announced after the 2025 fires has been spent. Much of the money has been routed through state agencies.
He was making some simple and true comments about the riots unfolding in France and before he could even finish making his point, the panel exploded. They simply couldn’t go on listening to the hard truth.
The main point that Jennings was making is that this has nothing to do with ‘students’ but is all about tearing down Western Civilization.
Jennings exposed the mass migration fueling the chaos across Europe and warned that the destruction unfolding in France is part of a broader attack on Western civilization itself.
The panel may not have liked hearing it, but it needed to be said.
JENNINGS: “France is suffering, and all of Europe is suffering from a migrant crisis.”
“And there are people running wild in France burning things down, destroying historical landmarks, looting stores, and they’re flying the colors of the Palestinians while they do it.”
“It has nothing to do with anything other than this attempt to tear down Western civilization wherever they perceive weakness.”
“And right now, there is weakness in Europe. They have allowed this migration crisis.”
Watch the video below:
Scott Jennings forces the liberal CNN panel to confront the truth about what’s happening in France.
Only a liberal at CNN could look at these protests with people waving communist flags and Palestinian flags and claim that it’s being driven by students.
Comedian Rob Schneider made a great related point about the riots, noting that people in France already get almost everything for ‘free’ yet they’re still rioting. Why?
France has FREE health care, paid parental leave, paid family leave, FREE child care, FREE preschool, 5 weeks paid vacation, a 35 hour work week, generous unemployment and housing benefits, and heavily subsidized higher education.

You step out of the shower. The bath towel looks big enough. But you wrap it once and it feels thin against your skin. You rub your arms and the water just moves around. Five minutes later you’re still damp, standing on a mat that smells like wet cotton.
That thin towel quit drying you years ago.
A lot of homes keep a stack like that. One from the kids’ old set. A hand towel that used to match something. Washcloths so thin they feel like paper.
Mike Lindell set out to change that. Everyone knows him from his fights against Leftists. But what he’s done with pillows, sheets and now towels is just as impressive.
Mike set out to create towels that dry you, no matter what.

Tesla CEO Elon Musk has revealed disturbing new details about the man responsible for the deadly March mass shooting in downtown Austin, Texas, alleging that the gunman had previously been fired from Tesla after violently assaulting a female employee who accidentally stepped on his prayer rug.
The gunman, identified as 53-year-old Ndiaga Diagne, a Senegal-born naturalized American citizen, opened fire outside Buford’s Backyard Beer Garden on March 1, 2026, killing three people and injuring 15 others before being fatally shot by responding police officers.
Now, Musk is speaking publicly about an alleged workplace incident that occurred just three months before the deadly rampage.
During an October 20 interview with biographer Walter Isaacson on The Builders, Musk described how Diagne allegedly attacked a female coworker inside Tesla’s Austin manufacturing facility in December 2025.
According to Musk, the woman inadvertently stepped onto Diagne’s prayer rug while he was praying in the factory.
Rather than simply addressing the accident, Diagne allegedly responded with physical violence.
Musk said:
“We had someone who was working at the Tesla factory in Austin until December of last year. He was fired because he assaulted a woman who stepped on his prayer rug in the factory.”
Musk continued:
“She accidentally stepped on his prayer rug and he assaulted her. Violently assaulted her.”
The billionaire entrepreneur said Tesla terminated Diagne’s employment following the incident.
Then came the horrifying events of March 1.
Musk explained that, months after the alleged assault, the former employee opened fire outside a crowded downtown Austin bar, killing three people.
He concluded with a pointed question about immigration and public safety:
“Now, I think we shouldn’t let people like that into the country. Do you?”
WATCH:
Elon Musk: A Tesla employee was fired for violently assaulting a woman who stepped on his prayer rug. Months later he murdered three students in Austin.
This is not religion. It is a political ideology that places its rules above your rights and answers “insults” with violence. It is incompatible with democracy and freedom.
Musk’s account is consistent with significant details of a lawsuit filed in March by Lillian Mendoza Brady, a 65-year-old Tesla employee who claims Diagne violently assaulted her during a company-authorized prayer break on December 4, 2025.
According to CBS News, Brady’s attorney, Robert Hilliard, said Diagne grabbed the woman and threw her to the ground while praying in a common area at Tesla’s facility.
The lawsuit accuses Tesla of negligence, alleging the company knew or should have known about Diagne’s aggressive tendencies and failed to provide adequate protection for employees.
Brady is seeking more than $1 million in damages.
Her attorney said she did not learn the identity of her alleged attacker until she recognized Diagne’s photograph in news coverage of the Austin massacre.
The Travis County Sheriff’s Office confirmed it had investigated the assault allegation but closed the case following Diagne’s death.
Musk’s statement that Diagne was fired for the incident adds a significant detail to the public record. The lawsuit and contemporary reports document the alleged assault, but the precise circumstances of Diagne’s termination have not been independently established.
Three Innocent Lives Lost in Downtown Austin
On March 1, Diagne drove into Austin’s entertainment district and opened fire on people gathered outside Buford’s Backyard Beer Garden.
Authorities identified the three victims as:
Savitha Shan, 21, a University of Texas student.
Ryder Harrington, 19, a Texas Tech University student.
Jorge Pederson, 30, the third victim who died from his injuries.
Although Musk referred to all three victims as students, publicly available reporting identifies two as college students.
Diagne was reportedly wearing clothing displaying religious and Iranian imagery, including the words “Property of Allah.”
The FBI initially investigated the possibility of a terrorism-related motive.
However, in its May 7 investigative update, the FBI concluded that Diagne acted alone and found no evidence of outside direction or radicalization. Investigators identified escalating violent behavior and personal grievances involving U.S. and Israeli military actions against Iran as contributing factors.
Amy Acton’s brother, Philip Stearns, stars in anti-Ramaswamy attack ad
Democratic Gubernatorial Candidate Amy Acton has released a new ad in response to Republican Vivek Ramaswamy’s advertisement, which stars Acton’s mother warning Ohio voters not to vote for her.
The rebuttal to Ramaswamy and Acton’s mother, Donna Arthur, features Acton’s brother claiming that the two were abused as children and accusing Ramaswamy of capitalizing on their woes.
As The Gateway Pundit reported on Tuesday, Donna Arthur came out swinging in a Vivek Ramaswamy campaign ad, slamming her daughter as a “liar” and a sick person who “needs help.”
“I love my daughter, but when I saw her lying about her opponent — it’s not easy for a mother to say this, but Amy has a serious problem,” Arthur said, adding that “she lies about her past,” and “she’s lied her entire life.”
“Don’t vote for people who lie. Don’t let her become your governor. If you think she’ll make your life better, you’re fooling yourself. It will only get worse.”
Acton’s campaign responded yesterday morning with a statement from Acton’s brother, Philip Stearns, blasting Ramaswamy and claiming that her mother was complicit in alleged sexual abuse she faced from her stepfather as a child. They baselessly accused Ramaswamy of an “attempt to turn the sexual abuse Amy endured at twelve years old from our birth mother’s husband into a political talking point.”
Acton’s campaign also released a video ad on Tuesday evening, with Stearns again accusing Ramaswamy of turning alleged childhood abuse into a “talking point.” Notably, however, Ramaswamy’s ad made no mention of abuse and only featured comments from the woman who raised Acton and previously accused her of exaggerating or inventing stories about her childhood back in 2020.
WATCH:
Stearns: I received a lot of abuse, but Amy always got the worst of it. She continued to receive that abuse because she knew she had to protect me from that, and that if she hadn’t done that, who knows where I would have ended up?
And she was 11 and 12 years old, and to think that that’s somehow a talking point, shame on Vivek. It’s the contempt he has for Amy. It’s the contempt he has for Ohio. He’s not fit to lead.
Ramaswamy responded to the controversy surrounding his ad during an interview on Tuesday, confirming that it came from his campaign but that Acton’s mother “was not compensated.”
He further slammed Acton for refusing to debate him and instead “spreading some defamatory, disparaging lies about me and my family.”
“The thing that I want to say is that I would love for this race and this election to be about the substantive issues that impact Ohioans, and unfortunately, Amy Acton has been hiding from those issues. She won’t debate me, she doesn’t allow cameras at her events, and I think her record of continuously, certainly during this campaign, I would say spreading some defamatory, disparaging lies about me and my family, that does deserve to be scrutinized,” Ramaswamy said.
“I’ve never met Amy Acton, which is a regret. I wish I’d met at least my opponent. I’ve also never met her mother. She was not compensated. I asked my team that question because we’ve got the question. She was not compensated.”
WATCH:
Ramaswamy further shared a clip of Megyn Kelly on Tuesday, where Kelly highlighted Acton’s history of lies, including her “armed attack” hoax at a campaign event, her possible alcohol abuse around her own children, and COVID hysteria.
“@megynkelly exposes the truth about Amy Acton. It’s uncomfortable, but every voter in Ohio should watch every second of this,” Ramaswamy wrote:
