Democrat Senator Elissa Slotkin of Michigan recently appeared at the University of Chicago for the live taping of a liberal podcast.

At one point in the conversation, she described her preferred strategy of going after not only President Trump, but the people in his inner circle who ‘enabled’ him.

She then says that she wants young people coming out of college to be too afraid to work with his administration for fear of ‘a ton of problems.’

This is textbook fascism from the party that insists Trump wants to be king!

Slotkin later played the victim after threatening young conservatives with destroying their lives for supporting the US President. She is the voice of the Democrat Party. They all feel this way. Only Slotkin was dumb enough to admit it on video.

In response to her latest fascist tactics, Article III Project founder Mike Davis called out Slotkin for threatening government resources to go against her political opponents.

Davis also told her, “F*ck her and her CIA tactics.”

Slotkin worked for the CIA and helped Barack Obama hand over a pallet of cash to the Iranian regime in the dead of night.

“US Senator Elissa Slotkin, this Democrat from Michigan, is unhinged. She went to the University of Chicago and she gave remarks that she wants to arrest Trump officials as a deterrence, which is her word, for young Trump supporters so they do not join the public service, they don’t join the administration. So Elissa Slotkin wants to prosecute her political enemies so their young supporters do not join public service.

This is textbook fascism, textbook tyranny. And she is a former CIA analyst, a desk jockey at the CIA.

She didn’t do operations because look at her, you’re not gonna send her out into the field with those crazy eyes.

But she’s using her junior varsity CIA tactics to go against Americans. And it’s not just Americans, it’s young Americans. She wants to deter an entire generation of young conservatives from going into public service. She wants to scare them.

She wants them to fear that the older people in the Trump administration are being prosecuted and they are next. And that was explicitly her message on tape at the University of Chicago.”

James O’Keefe was almost physically assaulted when he confronted the Abdul El-Sayed campaign staffer who revealed El-Sayed is taking illegal foreign donations.

The O’Keefe Media Group on Monday released an undercover video of a campaign official for Michigan Democrat Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed admitting that El-Sayed knowingly receives illegal donations from overseas.

Foreign nationals are prohibited from making campaign contributions.

“You know, he [Abdul El Sayed] has people from overseas that donate to him,” Abdul Beckwith, Regional Field Organizer for Abdul El-Sayed’s campaign, said.

When asked whether overseas donations were prohibited, Beckwith responded, “No, it is not allowed,” before describing a hypothetical arrangement in which overseas money passes through a family member.

Beckwith said, “And then people overseas give money to him. And then he gives money to you. It’s that type of thing.”

He then added, “Everybody does it!”

Later Monday, El-Sayed’s camp said Beckwith has never been employed by the Abdul for Senate campaign.

Things got heated when James O’Keefe confronted Beckwith.

“I don’t give a f*ck who you are, bro!” Beckwith said to James O’Keefe.

“We’re going to ask for one more time and then we’re going to have to call the cops,” an Abdul staffer said to James.

[El-Sayed] is taking money overseas!” O’Keefe shouted.

New migrant student enrollment in California public schools has plunged over the past two years as border crossings collapsed under the Trump administration, forcing districts to shutter specialized programs and reassign staff, saving taxpayers millions of dollars.

The impact of the lowered enrollment shows how heavily some systems depended on the children of migrants and illegal aliens to pad numbers for state funding.

In Oakland Unified, the district averaged more than 1,300 new migrant students each year from 2017-18 through 2024-25.

That fell to 498 in 2025-26 and just 212 so far this school year as of early October, according to EdSource.

Most of the remaining new enrollments are elementary students.

The drop forced the district to cut newcomer programs from 17 middle and high schools last year to only six this year.

Those programs had offered separate classes and extra support for academic subjects and English.

Students are now entering mainstream classes sooner, which Nicole Knight, Oakland’s executive director of English language learner and multilingual achievement, said creates challenges for teachers who feel unequipped.

“We’re suffering from declining enrollment, and it does make visible how much newcomers were helping us stay afloat,” she told EdSource.

Knight also said bilingual immersion classes stayed full because new migrant students kept arriving.

Los Angeles Unified saw newcomer enrollment fall from 20,755 students in 2024-25 to 11,103 in 2026-27, a 46.5 percent drop, while overall district enrollment fell 8.3 percent between fall 2025 and fall 2026.

San Juan Unified, near Sacramento, reported a smaller 13.6 percent decline, from 974 to 842, partly because many newcomers arrived as refugees or through Special Immigrant Visas rather than crossing the border.

Statewide, newcomers fell from a record 236,958 in 2024-25 to 228,780 in 2025-26. Those figures still largely reflect students who entered before major policy shifts.

California funds schools based on daily attendance, so every lost student reduces revenue across the board, not just for special newcomer programs.

Sam Finn, executive director of the California Newcomer Network, said the system is approaching a sharper drop.

Students lose the “newcomer” label after three years, and with few new arrivals replacing them, “we’re about to reach a cliff where we’ll have had a couple years without significant entries.”

Knight said districts spent years building curriculum and expertise and do not want that capacity to disappear entirely if numbers ever rise again.

Overall, California public school enrollment has fallen for nine straight years to about 5.7 million, a loss of roughly 74,000 students from the prior year.

The English learner population has dropped about 30 percent over the past decade.

Russian drones struck energy, industrial and logistics sites across western Ukraine on October 18, after Russia launched one Iskander-M ballistic missile and 180 attack drones overnight. The attacks caused fires, damaged buildings and disrupted electricity supplies.

In Volyn Oblast, drones hit an industrial facility in Manevychi, setting its warehouse and production buildings on fire. Acting regional head Roman Romaniuk said, “The fire is intense, the area is large, and there is heavy smoke.” Local officials told residents of one neighborhood to temporarily leave their homes. No casualties were reported.

In Lviv Oblast, Governor Maksym Kozytskyi said air defenses shot down two drones. In Malekhiv, a downed drone damaged a logistics complex and two houses, and a warehouse caught fire. In Murovane, the blast damaged nine private houses. No one was injured.

Ternopil Governor Taras Pastukh reported morning strikes on energy facilities near Staryi Vyshnivets, in Kremenets and in the Borsuky community, leaving some consumers without power. That evening, a strike on a production enterprise in Rivne Oblast’s Zdolbuniv community forced it to halt operations, with no injuries reported.

Meanwhile, overnight into October 18, drones hit Russia’s second-largest city. St. Petersburg Governor Alexander Beglov reported fires at the oil terminal and other infrastructure in four districts. A VK data center in Leningrad Oblast was also struck, and the regional governor said about 20,000 people lost power.

In Odesa, a drone hit the roof of a 19-story residential building, starting a fire and partially destroying two attic apartments. Regional head Oleh Kiper said two people were injured, including a child. In Chernihiv Oblast, a Geran drone injured a woman in the Liubech community, while Geran drones destroyed an outbuilding in Novhorod-Siverskyi.

Kyiv, where drones recently struck a school, came under ballistic missile attack late on October 18. Missiles hit a medical center in Desnianskyi district and a non-residential building in Dniprovskyi district.

In northeastern Ukraine, Kharkiv regional head Oleh Syniehubov reported attacks on 18 settlements, involving missiles and several types of drones, including Geran-2, Lancet, Molniya and FPV drones. Eleven people were injured, including two children. A 12-year-old boy and a 2-year-old girl in Prysyb were treated for acute stress reactions. An apartment building in Kharkiv and a health facility in Lozova were damaged.

Sumy Oblast, where Russian bombs recently wounded dozens, came under more than 40 attacks on 28 settlements in 17 communities. In Yampil, a drone hit a car, injuring an 11-year-old boy, a 39-year-old man and a 32-year-old woman.

In Donetsk Oblast, regional head Vadym Filashkin reported that Russian attacks killed two residents on October 18, one in Kramatorsk and one in Druzhkivka. Russian forces shelled the oblast 27 times, injuring four people. In Bilozerske, three private houses were destroyed and four damaged, while seven houses were damaged in Starovarvarivka.

Russian forces attacked Dnipropetrovsk Oblast more than 20 times across four districts with drones, artillery and aerial bombs. In Nikopol district, a woman was injured and a cultural institution was damaged, while infrastructure was hit in Dnipro.

On the southern front, Russian forces carried out 738 strikes on 56 settlements in Zaporizhzhia Oblast, including 22 airstrikes and 500 drone attacks, injuring three people. In Kherson Oblast, Russian forces shelled more than 20 settlements, injuring a child and damaging four private houses. A 58-year-old man wounded in the October 17 airstrike on Kherson died in hospital on the evening of October 18.

Ukraine’s Defense Ministry reported Russian personnel losses of 2,100 on October 18, bringing its estimate of total Russian personnel losses to about 1,567,160. The ministry also reported Russian losses of 1,636 drones and 24 artillery systems that day. These are Ukrainian estimates; the personnel figure should not be read as a confirmed count of deaths. Ukraine does not publish a comparable daily tally of its own military losses.

Beyond Ukraine, two Romanian F-16s shot down two jet-powered drones of the Geran family in Romanian airspace over the Black Sea on October 17.

In Lithuania, Prime Minister Mindaugas Sinkevičius said Russia was likely behind an attempted arson at a company storing Starlink equipment early on October 18, calling it part of Russia’s hybrid war.

On the diplomatic front, Zelensky told NBC on October 18 that the United States had resumed intelligence sharing after a pause of about three days. Secretary of State Marco Rubio also said President Trump wanted a 60-day period to assess sanctions and tariffs.

A viral video showing a Portland, Oregon high school football player attacking a rival performing a patriotic act prior to their game last Friday is speaking outrage across the country.

As The Daily Mail reported, video footage has emerged showing the moment Grant football players run onto the field behind a teammate who was waving a large American flag prior their game against rivals Jefferson High School before an ugly scene unfolds.

As one will see in the video, a Jefferson player races toward the flag-bearer and levels him. This causes the Grant player to fall to the ground.

Grant players then charge toward the violent thug to confront him.

The account which shared the video (which is not officially affiliated with Jefferson High School) openly CELEBRATED this gross attack.

While the account was later deleted, Taren Feist, an Oregon-based campaign manager, saved the screenshots.

The Oregon School Activities Association (OSAA), the state school athletic governing body, released a statement to OutKick saying that “is aware of the pre-game incident.”

The organization also said that the player was ejected and didn’t play in the game.

“Rivalry game or not, there’s no place for this behavior before, during, or after an interscholastic contest,” the OSAA added.

There is no word on whether the Jefferson player faced further punishment, however.

The now-deleted account which shared the video posted a statement claiming that the the attack was not intended as disrespect toward the US flag, but was a reaction to Jefferson being ‘mistreated’ on senior night.

The video was not intended to disrespect the American flag. However, there was disrespect shown toward Jefferson by Grant players and members of their coaching staff before the game, and if you were there to witness what happened, you would understand the full context.

There was an option to go around the field, but they chose not to. This was our last game ever on Jefferson Field, our Senior Night, and Homecoming. This was a special and emotional night for our school, our seniors, our players, and our community.

As far as the game, Jefferson High School received the beating they so richly deserved.

Grant prevailed 35-14, causing Jefferson’s record to drop to 1-6. Grant moved 6-1 on the season.

Actress Christina Ricci has defended the ongoing French riots this week, posting on Threads that the “rioting mobs” destroying property and attacking landmarks are simply “protesting the state of the world.”

When one user wrote, “Stop calling what’s happening in France ‘protests.’ These are rioting MOBS.”

Ricci replied, “Yes and those ‘rioting mobs’ are protesting the state of the world.”

The actress later responded to another post showing footage of rioters smashing and looting luxury stores including Celine, Burberry, Dior, and Louis Vuitton in Paris.

The user called the destruction sad and asked why people destroy property when the stores had done nothing.

Ricci, who is worth a pretty penny, responded, “Capitalism doesn’t need your grief.”

The riots allegedly began as a normal protest, but quickly spiraled into widespread looting, arson, and attacks on police by both migrants and leftist activists.

French officials have reported more than 2,500 arrests, nearly 1,000 injured officers, and thousands of shops ransacked.

In Paris, streets were left covered in wreckage, broken glass, and burned vehicles.

In Limoges, a 19th-century neo-Renaissance town hall completed in 1883 that had survived two world wars was largely gutted by fire, with its wooden bell tower collapsed after arsonists forced entry and set fires in the cellars.

A known ultra-left activist on France’s S-file terror watchlist was arrested as the main suspect in that attack.

President Emmanuel Macron has blamed “seditious elements from far-left splinter groups, joined by many delinquents.”

Vice President JD Vance responded to a video of the burning Limoges town hall by writing that “Western liberals imported the third world into France and other countries in the name of diversity and compassion. They ignored fundamental questions of assimilation and compatibility. They were told it would lead to this and they didn’t listen.”
