Democratic U.S. Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed has been linked to yet another alleged terrorist — his wife’s sister, whom the Obama administration reportedly put on the terrorist watchlist.

Daugherty was referring to reports that Mariam Jukaku, a sister of El-Sayed’s wife, Sarah Jukaku, said in a lawsuit contesting her name being on the terrorist watchlist that she became aware she was on the list in 2012.

The 2016 filing said that while at the Detroit Metropolitan Airport, her boarding pass “was stamped with the ‘SSSS’ designation, indicating that she had been designated as a ‘known or suspected terrorist,’” according to The Midwesterner.

“While passing through security, she was subjected to extensive searches, pat downs and chemical testing,” the lawsuit said, while noting that Jukaku filed complaints with several federal agencies.

“At no time was Ms. Jukaku given notice of the factual basis for her placement on the federal watch list, and at no time was she offered a meaningful opportunity to contest her designation,” the lawsuit said.

Jukaku has said she thinks she was taken off the list.

The FBI said “it is the U.S. government’s policy to neither confirm nor deny a person’s inclusion in the Terrorist Screening Dataset, commonly known as the terrorist watchlist,” according to The Federalist.

El-Sayed has tried to distance himself from his many family connections to Islamic terrorism.

His half-sister, University of Chicago professor Eman Abdelhadi, wrote in 2012 that the family had a strong connection to the Muslim Brotherhood.

“My family has long been MB, but I’ve always felt that it has navigated the political sphere poorly/destructively,” Abdelhadi wrote.

Abdelhadi even voiced support for Hamas one year after the terrorist group slaughtered Israeli civilians on Oct. 7, 2023, according to Fox News.

“I want to say, Allahu Akbar,” Abdelhadi said in an “October 7th blessing” posted to Instagram Oct. 7, 2024.

“That phrase means God is greater, and it’s an important phrase in the Muslim tradition,” she noted.

“It’s one that I’ve been thinking about a lot over the last year, because it’s a phrase that reminds us that no matter how great the brutality, the oppression, the intensity of what we’re going through, the horizon of justice is just around the corner,” she said.

The collection of Islamic terrorist links led Daughtery to urge voters to repudiate El-Sayed.

“Keep this guy as FAR AWAY FROM THE SENATE as humanly possible!!” he wrote.

On the night of Monday, October 12, armed Fulani attackers invaded Nchiya community in Mangu Local Government Area (LGA), Plateau State. They attacked two men at a local vigilance point with gunfire and machetes, killing 65-year-old Dauda Shamaki. The second man escaped. Two of the attackers wore military uniforms, according to a statement by the Mwaghavul Youth Movement (MYM).

Earlier that day, near Aloghom community, Fulani attackers shot and injured a security operative after cattle were driven onto farmland, destroying crops, the movement said.

The statement, issued on October 13, was signed by Director of Public Affairs Tubwot Joël Sunday on behalf of MYM President Comr. Jonathan Kyesmang Yusuf. It said, “While there is no concrete evidence yet that the military as an institution provided cover for the attackers, the presence of individuals in military uniform among the attackers is highly suspicious and must be thoroughly investigated.”

The movement called on the military high command, the Plateau State Government and security agencies to investigate the attacks and prosecute those responsible. It also said Fulani residents “must also be subjected to collective blame because of their continued conspiracy of silence.”

The Nchiya killing was among a series of attacks between October 2 and 13 in Plateau State, including communities in Barkin Ladi, Bokkos and Mangu LGAs, 30 to 40 miles south of the state capital, Jos. On October 2, two people were killed in Jenta community, Jos South LGA. On October 4, two people were killed in Matan Kubet, Bokkos LGA. That night, Fulani herdsmen killed two Christians and injured three others in Mangor village, according to Bokkos youth leader Bwefang Sunday.

In Barkin Ladi LGA, attackers injured Bulus Chun Pam of Gwom Ajang, Foron District, on October 7. He died two days later at Jos University Teaching Hospital.

At about 7 p.m. on October 8, gunmen ambushed and killed a police officer riding to his duty post along the Kwi-Beco road in the Chit area of Heipang District. Plateau State Police Command spokesperson DSP Alabo Alfred did not respond to inquiries.

In neighboring Riyom LGA, attackers killed 42-year-old David Danjuma and rustled 114 cattle in Wereng between October 6 and 12, according to the BYM.

At about 3 p.m. on October 9, attackers killed John Mafulul, 53, and Ezekiel Yohanna, 50, at a mining site in the Jamus area of Kazok villages, Gashish District, according to the Berom Youth Moulders Association (BYM). The association blamed “Radical Islamic Fulani Militias.”

On October 11, two people were killed in the Mai Katako area of Bokkos LGA. On October 13, James Joro Dung, 48, was killed in Tafan, Barkin Ladi LGA, according to the BYM.

Also on the night of October 13, gunmen shot Mishkaham Yohanna Jatau Samkwar, a traditional leader of the Mwaghavul people, in the leg at his home in Daffo, Bokkos LGA. He later died at a cottage hospital in Mangu.

Kidnappers had abducted his son, Zuhumnan Nanle, in Daffo on October 3 and released him on October 12. Bulus Dabit, national president of the Mwaghavul Development Association (MDA), said, “It is very clear that the recent attackers are the kidnappers.”

The attacks continued despite a curfew. On September 21, the Plateau State Government imposed a 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. curfew on Barkin Ladi, Bokkos and Mangu LGAs and banned motorcycles in those areas, Commissioner for Information and Communication Joyce Ramnap announced.

The following night, at about 7:49 p.m., gunmen killed three vigilantes on the Kyikyau–Gyambwas boundary in Mangu Halle District during curfew hours. The victims were Samson Dachet, 45, Gambo Fwangyil, 50, and Zughumnan Bamaiyi, 35.

MYM Director of Public Affairs Tubwot Joël Sunday asked, “Who is the curfew ultimately protecting?” Dabit said, “The curfew is not working with lawless persons.” Operation Enduring Peace spokesperson Capt. Polycarp Oteh declined to comment.

The October attacks followed the killing of about 70 Christians across Plateau State in September. In Mangu LGA alone, 76 churches and worship centers have been destroyed since 2023, according to a list compiled by community leaders. Of these, 57 belonged to the Church of Christ in Nations (COCIN). The remainder served Baptist, Catholic, Anglican, ECWA, Deeper Life, Living Faith, Assembly of God and independent congregations. Ten of the 76 were still under construction when they were destroyed.

In September, the MDA said that “more than 750 members of Mwaghavul communities have been killed in recurring violence since 2023.”

No response from the military, the police or the Plateau State Government to the Mwaghavul Youth Movement’s call to investigate the attackers in military uniforms could be found. No arrests have been announced in the killings of Dauda Shamaki, the Kazok miners, the police officer on the Kwi-Beco road or Mishkaham Yohanna Jatau Samkwar.

Over the past year, The Gateway Pundit has shared stories about Michael Castillero and the criminal case brought against him and two others by the Southern District of New York, a case that the Eastern District of New York refused to prosecute and then was shopped around until Jack Smith’s comrades at the SDNY took a liking to it.

Michael Castillero received 11 years in prison, Francine Lanaia 8 years, and Brian Martinson 10 years. Each received 3 years of supervised release. The court also ordered them to pay $115 million in restitution. The defendants were also ordered to forfeit specific real and personal property they obtained as a result of the fraud and to pay the following forfeiture amounts: Lanaia: $24,259,128.80; Martinsen: $25,355,714.43; and Castillero: $24,279,516.80.

At a time when the weaponization of our legal system has been exposed, thanks in part to social media, how can we sit by and pretend that Americans have not been victimized and targeted by overzealous scumbags in State’s Attorney offices and/or the DOJ for their successes and even more so for their beliefs?

Were Michael and his business partners targeted after social media posts that expressed support for President Trump were put up? Michael believes so, as do the many people who support him. It’s hard to dismiss after learning the stories of the many politically persecuted people, whom we’ve become aware of over the last 5 to 10 years. Also, not for nothing, we are talking about the SDNY – whose record speaks for itself.

You can Google their case and see many stories posted by the DOJ and Mainstream Media, calling them fraudsters and accusing them of running a Ponzi Scheme, etc. Accusations they all still vehemently deny.

Something you will not see in those articles is that Michael was given an extra year on his prison sentence for speaking out on podcasts, articles, and social media regarding his innocence. Let that sink in. An extra year specifically because the prosecutors and the judge were not happy that he spoke out and was exercising his First Amendment Right.

Previously, Michael, Francine, and Brian had been ordered to self-surrender to prison on October 29th. Their motion for “Bond Pending Appeal” had been denied by Judge Jesse M. Furman. Michael 48, Brian 49 and Francine 61 have not been convicted of any violence and are not threats to society. In a motion signed by Judge Furman on October 14th, their surrender date has now been extended to Dec 10, 2026.

Parroting the American media’s absurd coverage of Black Lives Matter and George Floyd riots, as cities burned, recent coverage of the riots in France took a familiar gaslighting spin.

While literally showing masked rioters surrounding a car engulfed in flames and clashing with police, and storming a store, a BBC reporter called the violent protests “mostly peaceful.”

James Waterhouse, the network’s Paris correspondent, absurdly noted, “In Paris and beyond, half a million people had filled cities across France to protest over the future of their country.”

He added, “They were mostly peaceful, but as we saw in the capital, in the wings were those who wanted to take advantage of the disorder.”

The $75 million sonar deal for the Spanish Navy highlights the growing contrast between Madrid’s defense procurement from Washington and its disputes with President Donald Trump over NATO spending commitments.

The Trump administration’s authorization of a new arms sale to Spain is now being published in the United States’ official federal register, bringing renewed attention to the Spanish government’s reliance on American defense technology amid diplomatic tensions over military spending and NATO commitments.

The transaction, reported in advance by Spain’s ABC newspaper, involves seven sonar upgrade kits for the Spanish Navy, together with associated equipment, software, spare parts and technical support. The estimated value of the proposed sale is $75 million, according to the U.S. government’s notification to Congress last Friday.

With this latest authorization, the cumulative value of U.S.-approved arms sales to Spain since Pedro Sánchez became prime minister in June 2018 has exceeded $7.1 billion, according to figures reported by Spanish media.

A $75 Million Deal to Strengthen Spain’s Naval Capabilities

The sonar systems are designed to improve Spain’s ability to detect and identify underwater mines. Such equipment plays an important role in naval operations, particularly in maritime security missions and efforts to protect shipping routes.

The proposed package includes seven AN/SQQ-32(V)3 sonar mine-hunting upgrade kits, as well as related support equipment, technical documentation, maintenance software and engineering and logistical services.

According to the U.S. notification, the transaction is intended to support Spain’s contribution to NATO maritime security operations and strengthen interoperability with allied forces.

The authorization follows a series of major defense transactions between Washington and Madrid, including a proposed $1.7 billion modernization package for Spain’s F-100 frigates announced by the U.S. government this January 2026.

Sánchez’s Defense Policy Under Scrutiny

The latest transaction comes amid disagreements between Sánchez and Trump over Spain’s defense spending and its commitments within NATO.

The American president has repeatedly criticized Spain’s defense spending position. In July, Trump announced measures aimed at halting trade with Spain, citing disagreements over NATO spending and Madrid’s refusal to support U.S. military action against Iran.

Against that backdrop, the continued approval of American arms sales to Spain highlights a distinction between diplomatic disputes and the countries’ established defense procurement relationship.

For the Spanish government, acquiring U.S. military equipment provides access to systems used by NATO allies and supports the modernization of the armed forces.

The $7.1 billion figure represents the cumulative value of U.S.-authorized arms sales, not necessarily the amount already paid by Spain or the value of equipment already delivered. Authorizations for potential foreign military sales can precede final contracts, deliveries and payments.

A National Guardsman deployed in Washington, DC, was shot and injured last night near Capitol Hill. 

Multiple guardsmen attempted to intervene in a fight when one man fired at them.

Interim D.C. police chief Jeffrey Carroll confirmed that one National Guardsman was shot, and they returned fire at the suspect.

Both were treated at a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The Guardsman was reportedly shot in the leg, and the suspect was shot in the abdomen.

Both were rushed to the hospital, and 20-year-old Army Specialist Sarah Beckstrom tragically succumbed to her injuries on Thanksgiving Day.

President Trump deployed the National Guard to Washington, DC, to crack down on crime in the capital after declaring a crime emergency.

Prior to the declaration, 19-year-old Department of Government Efficiency employee Edward Coristine, AKA “Big Balls,” was severely beaten by a pack of thugs in DC after he tried to intervene in a carjacking.

LinkedIn co-founder and Democrat megadonor Reid Hoffman, the same billionaire who visited Jeffrey Epstein’s private island, stayed at his Manhattan townhouse, and once sent the convicted pedophile ice cream “for the girls,” just poured $500,000 into a super PAC backing Kentucky Democrat Zach Dembo.

The cash went to Kentuckians Not Corruption on September 24, according to WEKU’s October 16 investigation into Federal Election Commission records.

The group is running heavy television ads supporting Dembo and attacking his Republican opponent, former state Sen. Ralph Alvarado, in Kentucky’s 6th Congressional District.

Advertising records show the PAC’s weekly TV buys on Lexington’s WLEX-TV exploded after the money arrived, jumping from roughly $14,650 in mid-September to nearly $110,000 the week of October 6. By mid-October the group had already spent about $1.6 million on the race.

“This is really, it’s dirty Epstein class money fueling Zach Dembo’s campaign. It’s offensive,” Alvaro told Fox News.

He added that Hoffman “was one of his best friends,” citing the island visits, townhouse stays, and the infamous Christmas Eve ice cream shipment with the note that it was “either for yourself or for the girls.”

The Gateway Pundit has previously reported extensively on Hoffman’s deep and longstanding ties to Epstein. In February, we covered Elon Musk publicly confronting Hoffman over the “ice cream for the girls” remark and the volume of their communications.

Earlier reporting detailed Hoffman’s island visit, his role in helping rehabilitate Epstein’s reputation through MIT fundraising, and his continued contacts years after Epstein’s 2008 conviction.

Hoffman has repeatedly claimed the relationship was limited and strictly for fundraising purposes, claims that keep collapsing under the weight of the documents.

Dembo, a former federal prosecutor and Navy JAG officer who worked as an aide to Gov. Andy Beshear, has built his entire campaign around fighting “corruption” and the influence of “big business and the ultra-wealthy.”

His website declares that the ultra-wealthy “shouldn’t be able to buy influence in Washington” and calls for getting rid of dark money. He has attacked tax breaks for “billionaires and coastal elites” and promised to fight for working families instead of the donor class.

Yet when the biggest single check to the super PAC boosting him came from one of the most notorious Epstein-linked billionaires in Democratic politics, Dembo’s campaign has stayed silent. Fox News said it repeatedly sought comment and received none.

Gov. Kotek Praised “Everytown Data” Before the Bend, Oregon, Mass Shooting; CNN Cited Its Data Day of Killings

Oregon Governor Tina Kotek had a confident message when she celebrated the Community Safety Firearms Act in November 2025: “You all know that the data backs us up.” She also thanked Everytown for Gun Safety and Moms Demand Action for their “fierce advocacy.”

Nearly eleven months later, with the Democratic governor campaigning for reelection, three children and a teacher were killed at Silver Rail Elementary School in Bend. CNN placed the attack within a national school-shooting tally, drawing on Everytown, Education Week and the Gun Violence Archive the day of the killings.

The connection raises an accountability question: When an advocacy organization statistics help frame legislative messaging and news coverage, is the public receiving an explanation of violence or a numerical backdrop for a gun-control argument?

Counting shootings is not the same as identifying what would prevent them.

At the October 16 news conference, Bend Police Chief Mike Krantz said he would name the attacker only once!  Early coverage nevertheless carried conflicting versions of the name before subsequent reports identified him as Griffin J. John II, 16, a former Silver Rail student.

An inaccurate identification creates an obstacle for journalists researching an attacker’s history. Limiting repetition makes a clear written identification more important, not less.

Another significant disclosure came from Bend-La Pine Schools Superintendent Steven Cook: the attacker had previously been a special-education student at Silver Rail. Officials also confirmed that the shooting occurred in a special-education classroom.

A 2025 education-journal article cites research finding that students in special education were four times more likely to be prescribed psychotropic medication than students in general education.

That supports not only asking about medication history but also systematically recording verified exposure, treatment changes and toxicology findings to help established motives. FDA antidepressant warnings identify an increased risk of suicidal thoughts and behavior in some young people, and medication guides flag new aggression or violent behavior as symptoms requiring immediate attention. These warnings warrant investigation and accurate data collection.

The chief should have explained whether investigators were obtaining and preserving relevant mental-health and prescription records, including any documented medication changes, and examining them alongside the physical evidence.

Krantz acknowledged the uncertainty surrounding the attack: “Everyone wants to know why, including us.… We may never get that full answer, but we want it.” Investigators continued examining motive and how the teenager obtained the weapon.

Krantz sounded defeated when the investigation had barely begun. He limited the naming of the attacker while basic identification became confused, and he left unanswered whether investigators were obtaining mental-health records, prescription histories and toxicology evidence. Before the public even knew what investigators had examined, the chief was already warning that the motive might never be understood. That was a staggering admission at a briefing that should have laid out how police intended to find answers.

News organizations reported that the shotgun used in the attack had been purchased by the teenager’s mother. NBC News, citing two senior law-enforcement officials, reported that she bought it around his birthday in August.

Reporters approached his mother, identified as Shauntai May Nickerson, at her apartment on Friday. She expressed sorrow and declined to explain how her son obtained the weapon. Police said they were still investigating his access to it.

CNN described Nickerson as a health aide at a local nursing home. A LinkedIn profile bearing her name lists her as a “Med Aide” at Touchmark Living Centers, Inc., in Bend, Oregon. The employment information is self-reported on the profile.

Police should have addressed the leaked information about the mother’s reported shotgun purchase at the briefing by confirming what investigators knew and correcting anything inaccurate.  The misleading data on mass murders pushed on the day of the killings doesn’t help stop or prevent violence.

CNN’s tally measured shootings on school grounds, including parking lots, buses and accidental discharges that injured someone other than the shooter not just classroom massacres and mass killings.  It is way to broad and completely lack mental health drugs.

A 27-year-old Chandler, Arizona man is facing felony charges after Maricopa County prosecutors alleged he laid out a detailed plan for a mass-casualty attack on a Jewish or Muslim house of worship, complete with explosives followed by an accomplice tasked with “picking off people” with firearms.

Matthew Bjornholt appeared in Maricopa County Superior Court on October 16–18, 2026, on a charge of making a terrorist threat.

According to FOX 10 Phoenix’s October 16 report, prosecutors alleged that Bjornholt discussed using bombs and firearms to inflict mass casualties at a religious facility.

Even more alarming, prosecutors claimed Bjornholt possessed a copy of The Anarchist Cookbook, an infamous manual containing instructions for constructing explosives that has been associated with Oklahoma City bomber Timothy McVeigh.

Prosecutors alleged Bjornholt referred to the book as his “Bible.”

During Friday’s court appearance, Maricopa County prosecutor Stephen Garcia requested a $500,000 cash bond, arguing that Bjornholt posed an imminent danger to the community.

According to Garcia, the suspect allegedly discussed a coordinated assault in which explosives would be detonated before another individual opened fire on survivors.

The alleged accomplice would begin “picking off people,” prosecutors claimed.

Investigators subsequently seized three firearms and ammunition from Bjornholt’s residence.

Despite the disturbing allegations, Bjornholt’s defense attorney, Chad Schell, strongly disputed the prosecution’s case.

Schell argued that the investigation originated with allegations from a disgruntled former houseguest whom Bjornholt had reportedly kicked out of his residence in September.

According to the defense, federal authorities had already investigated the accusations.

On September 29, FBI agents executed a search warrant at Bjornholt’s residence, where the suspect allegedly voluntarily surrendered his electronic devices and provided investigators with access to his passwords.

Schell claimed the FBI uncovered no evidence of terrorism or bomb-making materials and declined to pursue federal charges.

The defense attorney also maintained that the three firearms recovered from the residence were legally possessed.

As Fox News reported, Schell questioned the state’s evidence, arguing that prosecutors were relying on uncorroborated statements rather than physical evidence establishing an imminent attack.

The judge acknowledged that the preliminary allegations relied heavily on hearsay but nevertheless found probable cause to proceed with the case.

Instead of granting the prosecution’s $500,000 bond request, the judge set bond at $100,000 with mandatory electronic monitoring.

Bjornholt is scheduled to return to court on October 22 for a status conference, followed by a preliminary hearing on October 26. He has not been convicted of the charged offense.
