US Intel Agency Bans Use of Terms “Radical Islamists” and “Jihadists” Because It May Be Hurtful to All Muslims

The top US intelligence agency sent out a list recently of banned terms that may be offensive to some Americans.

The Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) is responsible for handling the country’s spy apparatus.

The list released by the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) includes terms like “jihadists” and “radical Islamists” that may be offensive to all Muslims… Wait, what?

So this is the type of crap our government is promoting? What then is the proper term for an Islamist who shoots innocent men, women and children in a theater? …Or raids a dance party and slaughters 370 innocent young adults and kids dancing at a rave?

Muslim member of the Islamic Jihad group.

Adam Kredo at The Washington Free Beacon reported:

The United States’ top intelligence agency wants to ban its spies from using “biased language,” including the terms “radical Islamists” and “jihadist,” saying these words “are hurtful to Muslim-Americans and detrimentally impact our efforts as they bolster extremist rhetoric,” according to a language guide published internally.

The Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI), which is responsible for handling the country’s spy apparatus, seeks to ban a range of common terms because it says they offend Muslims and foment racism against employees. In addition to terms describing Islamic terrorists, ODNI instructs employees to avoid phrases such as “blacklisted,” “cakewalk,” “brown bag,” “grandfathered,” and “sanity check.”

“Blacklisted,” for instance, “implies black is bad and white is good,” while “cakewalk” is said to refer “to a dance performed by slaves for slave owners on plantation grounds.” “Brown bag,” a term most often used to describe a paper bag that holds one’s lunch, actually “refers to the ‘brown bag’ test practices in the 20th century within the African American community,” according to ODNI, which outlined these terms in an internal magazine produced by the agency’s Office of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility.

The document, which was first reported by the Daily Wire is the latest example of how Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) initiatives inside the American government are reshaping how employees speak to one another and perform their national security jobs. Critics describe these programs as part of a “woke” cultural shift promoted by far-left activists and their allies in the Biden administration. Republicans in Congress are looking to strip millions in federal funding for DEI programs across the military and other agencies, arguing they fundamentally harm the country’s national security operations across the globe.

Tragedy on Baltimore Key Bridge Blamed on DEI, An In-Depth Look

As the nation reels from the devastating tragedy on the Baltimore Key Bridge, a recent analysis from Utah has surfaced, pointing the finger of blame towards DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) policies. While the mainstream media has been quick to dismiss this perspective, it is important to consider all sides of the story. In this article, we delve into the conservative point of view on this shocking incident, examining the potential role of DEI in contributing to this heartbreaking event.

The Baltimore Key Bridge, once a symbol of strength and unity, has now become a site of tragedy. The collapse of a section of the bridge, resulting in numerous injuries and fatalities, has left the nation in mourning. But amidst the grief and sorrow, there are voices that are raising a crucial question – could this have been prevented? As details of the incident continue to emerge, the Utah analysis suggests that DEI policies may have played a significant role.

Lara Logan blows the lid off the Baltimore Bridge incident and says it was an attack.

“it was a financial and economic attack”#BaltimoreBridgeCollapse #USA pic.twitter.com/48MwXXgzBM

— Jim Ferguson (@JimFergusonUK) March 28, 2024

According to the analysis, the bridge was built using contractors who were chosen based on their adherence to DEI principles, rather than their qualifications and experience. This prioritization of diversity over merit, in a critical infrastructure project, has been a growing concern for many conservatives. The push for diversity and inclusion has often come at the cost of sacrificing expertise and competency, resulting in disastrous consequences.

Moreover, the analysis also highlights the role of DEI in the ongoing maintenance of the bridge. It is reported that funds allocated for the upkeep of the bridge were diverted towards DEI initiatives, leaving crucial repairs and inspections neglected. This neglect, combined with the lack of expertise in the initial construction, may have ultimately led to the collapse.

— DC_Draino (@DC_Draino) March 26, 2024

As expected, the mainstream media has been quick to dismiss this analysis as baseless and politically motivated. However, the reality is that DEI policies have infiltrated every aspect of our society, including critical infrastructure projects. And as this incident shows, the consequences can be catastrophic. It is time to acknowledge that the blind pursuit of diversity, without regard for competency, is not only unjust but also dangerous.

The tragedy on the Baltimore Key Bridge is a wake-up call for our nation. It is a reminder that we cannot afford to prioritize political correctness over competence when it comes to critical infrastructure. As conservative voices continue to shed light on the potential role of DEI in this incident, it is crucial that we have an honest and open dialogue about the impact of these policies.

It is also important to note that this is not an attack on diversity or inclusion. Conservatives value diversity and believe in equal opportunities for all individuals. However, we also recognize the importance of merit and competency in key areas, especially when it comes to public safety. And it is time for our leaders to acknowledge and address this issue before it leads to more tragedies.

In conclusion, the Baltimore Key Bridge tragedy has raised important questions about the role of DEI in critical infrastructure projects. While the mainstream media may choose to ignore this perspective, it is crucial that we consider all angles and have a thoughtful discussion about the impact of these policies. Our thoughts and prayers are with the victims and their families, but let us also learn from this tragedy and work towards preventing similar incidents in the future.

BREAKING: Sam Bankman-Fried Sentenced to 25 Years in Prison – Second Biggest Democrat Donor Was Convicted for ‘One of the Biggest Financial Frauds in American History’

The day of reckoning finally came for Sam-Bankman-Fried.

Judge Lewis A. Kaplan of the Southern District of New York court sentenced him to 300 months (25 years!)

“A man willing to flip a coin as to the continued existence of life on earth. Mr. Bankman-Fried knew that Alameda was spending customer funds on risky investments, political contributions and Bahamas real estate. The funds were not his to use.”

The billionaire crypto-bro SBF, second Democrat donor after only George Soros, came crashing down from glory to infamy after his crypto trading platform FTX went bankrupt in what prosecutors described as ‘one of the biggest financial frauds in American history’.

Jurors in his trial only needed three hours of deliberations to find Bankman-Fried guilty of all seven criminal counts.

SBF’s defense has proposed a prison term between five and six and a half years, because he is a vegan, good-natured do-gooder.

Prosecutors were not kidding around, seeking 40 to 50 years in prison, a sentence they say is warranted for someone who lied to investors and banks, and stole billions in deposits from customers.

Coming into sentencing things didn’t look good for SBF because tough-as-nails Judge Lewis A. Kaplan had already remanded him to prison pending trial for witness tampering.

The great Inner City Press live-tweeted from SDNY court, here you have some selected bits:

Judge Kaplan started out did not accept the defense claim that, because there is a plan by the FTX bankruptcy estate to pay costumers and creditors, that ‘there was no loss’ to them, a fact that defense thinks should lower his sentence.

“Judge Kaplan: I find the loss amount readily exceeds $550 million, the top tier [for sentencing]. I find investors lost $1.7 billion, lenders lost $1.3 billion, and customers, $8 billion.”

Then, there was the question of the obstruction of justice.

Judge Kaplan: “On obstruction of justice, I find that Mr. Bankman-Fried’s text to the former general counsel did in fact constitute attempted witness tampering. I make 3 perjury findings based on trial testimony

* he falsely testified that until the Fall of 2022 he had no knowledge that Alameda had spent FTX customer funds.

* He falsely testified that he first learned of the $8 billion in Oct 2022

* He falsely testified that repayment of third party loans by Alameda would require Alameda to borrow more customer funds from FTX.

The total offense level is 60 – once you cross 43, it cannot go higher. The guideline is life in prison. But the maximum is 1320 months in this case (151 years!)”

Victim Sunil Kavuri spoke in court:

“At least three people have committed suicide because of this FTX fraud. So when this FTX bankrutcy… I guess… What I feel, how it relates to Sam, it has hurt me, other co-conspirators, aiders and abetters, need to be held accountable”

Bankman-Fried’s defense came with the same old line of argument, and talked about his mom a lot: it was painful to read.

Mark Mukasey: “His mom says he is misunderstood. It is easy to slot people into an old fashioned story of the greedy swindler… Sam never scurried away with money. He stayed to the end. He’ll tell you more how much it means to him that people get repaid.”

SBF seemed at first that he’d drop the ‘smarter-than-thou’ attitude and show some contrition for the judge:

SBF: “I appreciate what Mark said about me. I don’t know that the most important thing today is my emotion life or hypothetical future kids.”

But no, he chose to ramble on and relitigate the whole case. Didn’t help himself.

SBF:  “I made a lot of mistakes. But that’s not how the story ended. Customers weren’t paid back. FTX didn’t survive that. Yeah, customers have been given conflicting claims. That’s caused a lot of damage. They could have been paid back…”

SBF: “I can’t impact if I get 5 years or 40 years. I know how the prosecutors see me, the court, the media. I understand it. You referenced my test to the general counsel. I was trying to help – that’s not how the prosecutors saw it, the media, that’s that.”

The prosecution also had a say:

AUSA Nicolas Roos: “Samuel Bankman-Fried stole $8 billion dollars. It was theft, from customers spread all over the world. It was a loss that impacted people significantly and caused damage. I want to address a few of the new victim letters.”

Roos talked about many costumers’ letters whose lives were horribly impacted by FTX’s mishandling of their life savings.

“The defendant took $1.7 billion from investors – that alone necessitates a long sentence. Some get 40 or more years for that alone. There were also the loans, two lenders went bankrupt. That too justified, on its own, a severe sentence. Also one of the largest bribes. He committer perjury. It was pervasive.”

He would do it again: no acceptance of responsibility, the AUSA

He did not swear off doing it again. He said there is an opportunity to relaunch FTX or an equivalent. That, I submit, tells the court exactly what could happen. A sentence is necessary here of at least 40 years so he will not do it again”

The defendant is not a monster, but he committed gravely serious crimes that harmed many people – and he would consider doing it again. So, 40 to 50 years.”

The Judge talked about SBF’s background. “He said there was a five percent chance he’d be president one day. Indeed, this was a huge financial crime. He wanted to be a hugely politically influential person in his country. It wasn’t just the left end of the spectrum.”

He put up a fake stance on regulations, the Judge reminded us. He wanted power. Influence…

JK: “A man willing to flip a coin as to the continued existence of life on earth. Mr. Bankman-Fried knew that Alameda was spending customer funds on risky investments, political contributions and Bahamas real estate. The funds were not his to use. One of his pithier expression, I think, was “I f*cked up.” Mr. Bankman-Fried has the right to plead not guilty & go to trial. Everybody’s got that right and I don’t hold it against him. But I come back to Ms. Ellison’s testimony. He knew it was wrong. He’s not going to admit a thing. As is his right. Specific deterrence? His name is mud around the world. But he’s persistent and he’s a great marketing guy. Mr. Roos is right that the outlines of Sam Bankman-Fried’s revised version are clear.”

“On general deterrence, at the end of the day the criminal justice system thrives only if it’s seen as fair. People need to feel, It’s fair. Or we’re back to trial by combat, folks, or something like it. So punishment must fit the seriousness of the crime. And these. Were. Serious. Crimes. I know the Probation Department recommends 105 years, and the Government 40 to 50 years. That would be more than necessary.”

“I am not diminishing the harm. The brazenness of his actions. His exceptional flexibility with the truth. His apparent lack of any remorse. I want to add one further thought. I did not think it a fruitful use of time to spell out every lie – When not lying, he was evasive, hair splitting, trying to get the prosecutors to rephrase questions for him. I’ve been doing this job for close for 30 years. I’ve never seen a performance like that.”

“It is the judgment of the court that you are sentenced to 240 months then consecutive 60 [etc] for a total of 300 months [25 years].”

THIS IS  A DEVELOPING STORY – CHECK BACK FOR UPDATES.

Joseph Lieberman, Man of the Inside Party

Joseph Lieberman, Man of the Inside Party

Lieberman demonstrated how character can disguise morally radical politics.

Joseph Lieberman was a Democrat who somehow belonged to both parties without fully fitting in with either. This is another way of saying that Lieberman’s true party was the Inside Party. To the extent that Republicans and Democrats have to answer to outsiders who want to change Washington, the Connecticut senator couldn’t be entirely at home on either team.

Ironically, Lieberman won national office in the first place because change-minded conservatives wanted to purge one of the last fossils of the GOP’s old “Eastern establishment.” Sen. Lowell Weicker was a Rockefeller Republican who irked the likes of William F. Buckley Jr. so much that Buckley—a Connecticut resident—endorsed his Democratic challenger in 1988. The state went Republican in that year’s presidential election: George H.W. Bush beat Michael Dukakis by more than 5 points. Lieberman, the Democratic challenger, beat Weicker by less than a single point in the Senate race.

Conservatives made the difference, but they paid a price. Connecticut has never again elected a Republican to the United States Senate. And the state—which voted for Ronald Reagan twice in the 1980s and even for Gerald Ford in 1976—has been won by the Democrat in every presidential election of the last 32 years. Rockefeller Republicans and conservative Republicans together could win federal elections in the state. But conservatives preferred a Democrat like Lieberman to a Republican like Weicker, and Rockefeller Republicans likewise came to prefer Democrats to any halfway conservative Republican.

Lieberman’s election was a disaster for conservatives in another way. The newly minted senator helped to accelerate the rise of the “New Democrats,” who presented themselves as more market-oriented than the big-government Democrats of old and less culturally radical than the left wing of the party. Bill Clinton and Al Gore were among the champions of this new movement, and the Clinton-Gore ticket would win both presidential elections of the 1990s.

But from the start, the New Democrats were a fraud. In his first two years in office, while his party controlled Congress, President Clinton pursued left-wing policies on every front, from the FACE Act, which restricted the free speech and assembly rights of pro-life protesters, to gun control, gays in the military, and socialized medicine (“Hillarycare”). Lieberman was as socially liberal as Clinton, and later in the decade he even voted against a ban on partial-birth abortion. Yet he maintained an appearance of moderation by substituting the personal for the political: He voted radically, but he was serious about his Jewish faith and was outspokenly critical of violent video games and Clinton’s affair with Monica Lewinsky—though that didn’t stop Lieberman from voting against Clinton’s removal from office after he was impeached for lying under oath about the tryst.

Lieberman demonstrated how character can disguise morally radical politics. He was a kind of whitewash, and that won him a spot on the Democratic presidential ticket in 2000. Vice President Al Gore didn’t need Lieberman as his running mate to provide policy experience or factional balance—they were both New Democrats—and the Connecticut senator wasn’t going to win Gore any state he couldn’t already count on. What Lieberman did was to lend his good character to absolve the vice president from association with Clinton’s sins.

If New Democrats like Lieberman were not so different from the earlier McGovernite left where abortion and other cultural issues were concerned, however, they were indeed a break with the progressive tradition when it came to foreign policy and neoliberal economics. Lieberman, like his close Republican friend John McCain, was one of the most consistently bellicose figures in American politics. He was an early supporter of the Iraq War—and a late one, too, which cost him his party’s nomination for the Senate in 2006. But he again used Republicans to win a general election that he would otherwise have lost.

That November, the Republican nominee for Senate received less than 10 percent of the vote—and while Connecticut was very much a blue state by then, it wasn’t so blue that a Republican could expect to draw only single-digit support. The Republican vote simply went to Lieberman instead of the GOP candidate, and enough of the Democratic vote did so as well that Lieberman, running as an independent, beat the antiwar Democratic nominee.

America as a whole turned against the Iraq War in that election, causing Republicans to lose both the House and the Senate. But Lieberman secured re-election with plurality support in a three-way race by representing the establishment positions within both parties—the hawkishness of the Bush-era GOP and the social liberalism of Democrats then and now.

He continued to vote and caucus with the Democrats, but Lieberman increasingly exploited his Inside Party prestige with Republicans as well. He endorsed John McCain for president and spoke at the 2008 Republican National Convention. McCain seriously contemplated making Lieberman his running mate and was only dissuaded by the unavoidable fact that social conservatives in the GOP would never countenance such a thing. But if the choice had come down solely to Inside Party preferences, Lieberman would have been the pick. There was no other politician in America closer to McCain’s priorities. They were warhawks of a feather.

Lieberman retrospectively recognized that voters wouldn’t have bought what he and McCain wanted to sell. He joked that if he’d been selected by McCain he’d have had “the opportunity to take a unique place in history to have run for vice president on two different party tickets—and to have lost twice.” He was glad that “God saved me from that—or the Republican delegates saved me from that.”

Yet up to his death on Wednesday, Lieberman still dreamed of making the Inside Party a force that could win elections. He became the founding chairman of “No Labels,” a project aspiring to field a centrist presidential candidate without a traditional party apparatus. Democrats, especially this year, perceive the initiative as a threat, given the conflicts within Joe Biden’s coalition over Israel and the risk that No Labels would split socially liberal voters with the Democrats while leaving social conservatives united within the GOP.

He will be remembered for being the first Jew on a major party presidential ticket. But he’s also significant as an archetype of his time. No politician better embodied the overlap between the Clinton and George W. Bush eras. Military adventurism, crony capitalism, and “character” as a quality that could spellbind social conservatives without inconveniencing social liberals—this was the Lieberman formula, and it’s still employed today, not least by those ex-conservatives who invoke “character” as their justification for siding with the party of the cultural left over the party of Donald Trump.

Lieberman was not a moderate. From war to abortion, his views were extreme. Those who only imagine a political spectrum with moderates in the middle and maniacs at the ends are wrong: Sometimes the middle is precisely where the culture of death is strongest. The senator was a man of good character but bad politics, and only voters more committed to the left and the right prevented him from doing greater harm in higher office.

WATCH LIVE: Donald Trump Court Hearing on Motion to Dismiss Georgia Case First Amendment Grounds

Hearings in the Georgia RICO indictment against President Trump and 18 co-defendants are continuing today in an effort to dismiss the case after the judge ruled that Fani Willis can continue her political witchhunt against the leading Presidential candidate.

As The Gateway Pundit reported, Fulton County Superior Court Judge Scott McAfee ruled earlier this month, ignoring lies on the witness stand, that District Attorney Fani Wills can continue her RICO case against Trump and his associates.

In his 23-page decision, Judge McAfee ordered Fani Willis to address the “appearance of impropriety” before the case can move forward. McAfee ruled Willis can stay on the case but must fire her lover Nathan Wade, the top prosecutor she hired to hunt down Trump.

Nathan Wade resigned from the RICO case following this decision.

However, Judge McAfee announced last Wednesday that President Trump and his co-defendants could appeal the Fani Willis disqualification decision.

HUGE: Georgia Judge Allows Trump to Appeal Fani Willis Disqualification Decision

The Georgia Court of Appeals has 45 days to decide on any appeal to the judge’s disqualification order.

Now, attorneys for Trump and his 18 co-defendants are urging McAfee to dismiss the charges on the grounds that the indictments violate the First Amendment.

CNN reports,

For the first time since a judge ruled that Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis can continue to oversee the Georgia 2020 election interference case against former President Donald Trump, the focus will return to the details of the sprawling case.

During a hearing Thursday, Trump’s lead attorney in Georgia is expected to argue that the indictment should be dismissed because the former president’s political speech is protected by the First Amendment.

In a motion filed in late 2023, before the unsuccessful efforts by defendants to disqualify Willis from the case emerged, Trump attorney Steve Sadow argued that the peddling of conspiracy theories and claims of widespread voter fraud in the 2020 presidential election were at their core political speech, and therefore Trump never should have been indicted.

“The core political speech and expressive conduct alleged in this indictment against President Trump are protected from government regulation and thus criminal prosecution by the State,” Sadow wrote.

According to further argues that “Criminalizing President Trump’s speech and advocacy disputing the outcome of the election—while speech endorsing the election’s outcome is viewed as unimpeachable—is thus blatant viewpoint discrimination.”

Sadow argued this morning that, “But for protected First Amendment speech, President Trump would not be charged in RICO or the other counts.” He continued, “Since that violates the Constitution as applied to the charges here, and his speech here, and his position here, this is ripe for a Constitutional challenge, and one step further, if it’s not ripe now, and we get into intent, when does the court determine that? Do you determine that after we have a trial?”

Trump attorney Steven Sadow argues for tossing out the Georgia election interference case on First Amendment grounds at a pretrial hearing:

“The reason why we don’t even get to a trial is because it’s unconstitutional to force an accused … to stand trial on protected speech.” pic.twitter.com/tO4NtNBshw

The city of Rockford, Illinois, has been plunged into mourning following a horrific stabbing spree that left four people dead and seven others injured on Wednesday afternoon.

The Rockford Police Department responded to a medical emergency call at approximately 1:14 p.m., which quickly escalated into a multi-scene investigation leading to the discovery of multiple victims.

Authorities confirmed that the violence unfolded across several locations in the northern Illinois city, approximately 94 miles from Chicago.

Police Chief Carla Redd addressed the media, extending her deepest sympathies to the victims’ families and indicating that a 22-year-old male suspect was promptly taken into custody for questioning. However, still no ID was released.

“This is a pretty painstaking event,” Chief Redd expressed. “My heart goes out to the families right now who are suffering a loss.”

The victims, whose identities have not been disclosed, included a 15-year-old girl, a 63-year-old woman, a 49-year-old man, and another 22-year-old man, according to USA Today.

Rockford Fire Department District Chief Will Pederson confirmed that three victims succumbed to their injuries at the scene, while a fourth passed away after being transported to a local hospital.

The Rockford police reported that one of the injured remains in critical condition, with several others stabilized. Two additional victims, acknowledged by the Winnebago County Sheriff’s Office, received treatment for their injuries, according to CNN.

The suspect was apprehended following a home invasion report, according to Winnebago County Sheriff Gary Caruana. Providing details on the encounter, Sheriff Caruana recounted how a female victim managed to escape the attacker despite sustaining injuries. A good Samaritan who came to her aid was also wounded but is reportedly in good condition.

“We don’t have a clear motive in regard to what caused this individual to commit such heinous crimes,” Police Chief Carla Redd said.

CNN reported:

Police said not all of the victims were stabbed, nor did they have any gunshot wounds, but did not indicate how the other victims died or were injured. One of the deceased victims was a mailman, according to the sheriff.

“This is a very active and multi-level, multi-agency investigation and has an extensive amount of moving parts,” the Wednesday evening news release said. “As with any investigation, further details and charges may come at a later date.”

Police urged residents to look at their cameras and doorbells for any video footage related to the incidents, and to submit any tips to police or anonymously through the Rockford Area Crime Stoppers.

Speaking at the news conference, Rockford Mayor Tom McNamara said he was “totally shaken by this act of violence and the impact that it’s having now on multiple families’ lives.”

There will be counselors on-site at Flinn Middle School on Thursday and Friday to help those individuals and families that have been impacted, he said.

“It’s hard to grasp how this could happen and how emotional and raw the community is tonight,” the mayor said in a Facebook post. “As a dad, a son, a husband, the Mayor and a Rockford supporter, my heart is breaking for those who have lost their lives, their families and our community.”

WATCH:

This stabbing rampage comes on the heels of another violent incident in the city, where a Walmart employee was fatally stabbed just days prior.

Also, the chair and a member of the Illinois Prisoner Review Board resigned amid controversy after they approved the release of a man who committed a fatal stabbing of his ex-girlfriend’s young son, less than a day after his release.

Resurfaced Footage Shows Diddy with Teenager Justin Bieber, Teasing Secret Activities as ‘Every 15-Year-Old’s Dream’

A video clip showing Sean “Diddy” Combs spending time with a then 15-year-old Justin Bieber has reemerged following the search of the rapper’s properties as part of a federal investigation into human trafficking.

Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) raided Combs’ properties in Holmby Hills, Los Angeles, and Miami’s Star Island on Monday, March 25, as part of a broader sex trafficking probe.

Combs has been accused of drugging and sexually assaulting young women.

“Earlier today, Homeland Security Investigations New York executed law enforcement actions as part of an ongoing investigation with assistance from HSI Los Angeles, HSI Miami and our local law enforcement partners. We will provide further information as it becomes available,” Homeland Security Investigations said in a statement.

Footage provided by SkyFOX showed agents arresting a few individuals. It is unclear who was in the home at the time of the raid. It is unclear who was detained by the feds.

The Gateway Pundit previously reported that Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones, an American musician and producer, has instigated legal action against Combs, his son Justin Dior Combs, chief of staff Kristen Khorram, and various entities including Universal Music Group and Motown Records.

Jones alleges enduring illegal and traumatic experiences while residing with Combs and working on the “Love” album.

The lawsuit accuses Combs of continuous recording demands, illegal drug use and distribution, as well as the provision of spiked beverages to minors and sex workers. Jones has compared Khorram to Ghislaine Maxwell for her role in allegedly procuring drugs for Combs’ operations.

In a detailed account, Jones describes an incident at a Hollywood recording studio where a shooting took place, resulting in injuries to himself and another individual, known only as “G.” The lawsuit claims Combs instructed witnesses to misinform police about the circumstances of the shooting.

In light of these developments, Homeland Security Investigations spearheaded the operation that targeted Combs’ Holmby Hills and Star Island homes. Although details of the investigation are scarce, the statement from Homeland Security confirms it is part of a broader inquiry requiring federal and local law enforcement collaboration.

Combs, through his legal representation, denounced the raids, describing them as unnecessarily aggressive and defending his innocence in the face of the allegations.

“Yesterday, there was a gross overuse of military-level force as search warrants were executed at Mr. Combs’ residences. There is no excuse for the excessive show of force and hostility exhibited by authorities or the way his children and employees were treated,” Aaron Dyer, an attorney for Combs told The Daily Mail.

Revelations from retired NYPD detective Derrick Parker, once part of the “Hip Hop Cops,” suggest that Combs’ influence might have previously shielded him from scrutiny. Parker hinted at the possibility of an informant within Diddy’s inner circle propelling the federal investigation.

The controversy deepens with the emergence of a video showing Combs alongside a 15-year-old Justin Bieber, making statements that have raised eyebrows in light of the current allegations.

In the video, Combs boasts about spending forty-eight hours with Bieber, hinting at activities kept secret from the public eye.

Daily Mail reported:

In the clip Diddy, born Sean Love Combs, stands next to the young pop sensation and tells the camera ‘He’s having forty-eight hours with Diddy, where we hanging out and what we’re doing we can’t really disclose,’ he explained.

‘But it’s definitely a 15-year-old’s dream.’

The hip hop mogul added: ‘I have been given custody of him. He’s signed to Usher and I had legal guardianship of Usher when he did his first album.

‘I don’t have legal guardianship of him [Bieber] but for the next forty-eight hours he’s with me and we’re gonna go full crazy.’

Bieber, wearing a black baseball cap and purple shirt smiles and looks up at Diddy throughout the video, making small comments such as ‘yeah’ and ‘full crazy.’

The video was posted to social media and triggered an outpouring of criticism and concern, with one person labelling the footage ‘creepy’.

The Department of Justice Office of Public Affairs announced charges against seven hackers associated with Chinese Communist Government for targeting perceived critics of China and US businesses and politicians.

The seven Chinese hackers were named in the DOJ press release.

The victims were politicians from both parties and critics of the Chinese Communist regime. However, the politicians were not named in the DOJ report.

An indictment was unsealed today charging seven nationals of the People’s Republic of China (PRC) with conspiracy to commit computer intrusions and conspiracy to commit wire fraud for their involvement in a PRC-based hacking group that spent approximately 14 years targeting U.S. and foreign critics, businesses, and political officials in furtherance of the PRC’s economic espionage and foreign intelligence objectives.

The defendants are Ni Gaobin (倪高彬), 38; Weng Ming (翁明), 37; Cheng Feng (程锋), 34; Peng Yaowen (彭耀文), 38; Sun Xiaohui (孙小辉), 38; Xiong Wang (熊旺), 35; and Zhao Guangzong (赵光宗), 38. All are believed to reside in the PRC.

“The Justice Department will not tolerate efforts by the Chinese government to intimidate Americans who serve the public, silence the dissidents who are protected by American laws, or steal from American businesses,” said Attorney General Merrick B. Garland. “This case serves as a reminder of the ends to which the Chinese government is willing to go to target and intimidate its critics, including launching malicious cyber operations aimed at threatening the national security of the United States and our allies.”

“Over 10,000 malicious emails, impacting thousands of victims, across multiple continents. As alleged in today’s indictment, this prolific global hacking operation – backed by the PRC government – targeted journalists, political officials, and companies to repress critics of the Chinese regime, compromise government institutions, and steal trade secrets,” said Deputy Attorney General Lisa Monaco. “The Department of Justice will relentlessly pursue, expose, and hold accountable cyber criminals who would undermine democracies and threaten our national security.”

“Today’s announcement exposes China’s continuous and brash efforts to undermine our nation’s cybersecurity and target Americans and our innovation,” said FBI Director Christopher Wray. “As long as China continues to target the US and our partners, the FBI will continue to send a clear message that cyber espionage will not be tolerated, and we will tirelessly pursue those who threaten our nation’s security and prosperity. This indictment underscores our unwavering commitment to disrupt and deter malicious cyber activity, and safeguard our citizens, businesses, and critical infrastructure from threats in cyberspace.”
